Dr. Akopians is the best of the best! I have PCOS and Endometriosis and was encouraged to freeze my eggs in my 20s. My OBGYN referred me to Dr. Akopians and I am so thankful. She very hands on and makes herself available 24/7, not to mention her nurse Julia is beyond lovely and there for you every step of the way. I was terrified of side effects and OHSS due to the amount of follicles I had, but she managed & monitored me so closely I had an incredible outcome. Im so thankful I was not only encouraged to freeze my eggs young, but to have been in the care of Dr. Akopians. Shes truly one of a kind!

I am incredibly grateful for my daughter, who was born via surrogate with the help of Dr. Akopians and her team! After trying two other clinics prior to SCRC, I was extremely impressed with Dr. Akopians knowledge and thoroughness in assessing both my medical history and that of my surrogate. Dr. Akopians address many concerns that other doctors missed, and seemed to be able to adjust the protocol accordingly which resulted in our baby! :)

My experience with the staff and this clinic was phenomenal. I was always acknowledged by the staff and Dr. Akopians always called me with results. The doctor and her clinical team addressed all my questions and concerns on a timely manner.Dr Akopians was always so knowledgeable and respectful of my wishes to have a baby . She informed me of the whole process step by step and never made me feel rushed or pushed to make decisions. She is a wonderful Doctor.Overall, I had a pleasant experience. SCRC is a busy practice but I am completely satisfied with the quality of my care.

Worst doctor out of all Ive consulted with. Very arrogant, forces you to listen to 20min of fertility 101 (when women are born we are different than men and are born with all the eggs we will ever have etc.), BASIC INFO most women who have already completed cycles already know, basics that no other doctor forces you to listen to when youre not new to IVF. Tried to encourage me to use donor eggs when I still have regular menses and MII oocytes without giving a proper explanation. Cant seem to think outside the box to tailor a protocol to work with your body. I have low ovarian reserve but another doctor put me on estradiol during the luteal phase and I was able to retrieve double the amount of oocytes than before. Dr. Akopians did not even know of this method; shes very textbook and basic. I dont think shes a very good doctor at all. Their surgery center doesnt have good reviews either, so I wouldnt trust going there. Try OC Fertility, or Dr. Kuo, or USC fertility.
