I recently visited Holistic Integrated Medicine, specifically for acupuncture treatment with Dr. Irene. From the moment we arrived, Dr. Irene was incredibly friendly and professional. I brought my mother in, who had been experiencing significant pain and overall poor health. Dr. Irenes expertise in acupuncture was evident, and her compassionate approach put us at ease immediately.Over the course of a few weeks of treatment, my mother showed remarkable improvement. Not only did her physical pain diminish significantly, but her emotional well-being also improved. I cannot say enough about my experience with Dr. Lien. I came to her almost hopeless, suffering through perimenopause hot flashes and overall discomfort. I had tried getting help from my general practitioner, have been around the block with lots of different combinations of herbal supplements, SSRIs and nothing was working. Irene is a very good acupuncturist. My husband is trained in Chinese medicine and has been very impressed with her breadth of knowledge and how much she has helped us with various issues such as neck pain, joint pain, colds, sleep, appetite, and fertility. I definitely recommend working with her. She is really good at explaining everything and always puts my mind at ease. I always look forward to my sessions with her.

I was very skeptical starting acupuncture at first. BUT now I have seen lots of improvement with back and neck pain. Dr. Irene is very knowledgeable in her field. From day 1 I felt improvement. I went in with back, neck and both shoulders in pain. Now I have very little pain because of her. When Dr. Irene hears I was diabetic, she immediately changed the treatment. When she started my blood sugar numbers hovered around 300-350, now after 8 weeks they are down around the 150 mark. With her treatment and diet we got it down and working towards removing even more meds too. To Dr. Irene is an expert in her field. THANKS Dr. Irene!

I have been seeing Dr. Irene for over a year. I am soon going to be 70. I am very active in crew. She has helped me with injuries, allergies and many aches and pains. One in particular was a neuroma on my foot. She treated the bump once a week for 8-10 weeks. Then it was gone. Even the podiatrist was amazed.

I had badly twisted my ankle at the beach and was unable to walk without a cane. Standing with the cane for any length of time was excruciating and it even made me feel faint and nauseous.Dr. Irene gave me one acupuncture treatment the next day and I was immediately able to walk again. It was astounding how instantly the pain was reduced to almost nothing.She told me to still take it easy, since the tendons and ligaments were still healing, but I was able to go about my daily life and chores with little difficulty and no cane. The day after the treatment I was able to go up and down several flights of stairs in my internship, where I was sure before the treatment I would have to stay home.Dr. Irene is amazing at what she does and is very kind and helpful. Dr Irene is a God send. I contracted Bells Palsy two weeks ago losing feeling on my entire left side of my face. In just this short time she has managed to get the feeling back in my mouth and eyebrows. I can now close my left eye most of the time which makes life much better. Dr. Irene is just great!! I first came to Dr. Irene following a car accident. She was extremely helpful in diagnosing and treating my pain. I also discovered her acupuncture helped me with several other maladies including anxiety, poor sleep and digestion issues. My treatment is ongoing but Im seeing far better results than I ever felt from my regular doctors and the drugs they prescribed. I recently saw a concussion specialist who indicated that the hearing loss in my ear was related to a concussion that I also sustained in the accident and suggested that acupuncture might resolve the issue and it appears to be working. She is truly amazing I didn’t really know what to expect from acupuncture. She spent the time to really listen and explain everything. I had a diabetic ulcer on my foot and she is so compassionate and caring in the treatment. She has been able to reduce the swelling and promote healing so much better than my other doctor. Dr. Irene is like a miracle worker. Her technique is so effective, I am consistently impressed at the relief I get after just one or two sessions with her. I have worked with 4 different acupuncture therapists in different states over the years, and have actually never before experienced results like this, which have significantly improved my sleep and given me incredible pain relief in my knee, neck, back, and shoulder. She finds those points that need the needle work most and sinks them in deep, to where you feel that aching sensation, and sometimes even a bit of an electric tingle before she even adds any actual electric stimulation... that’s when you know it’s going to do some serious good for you. To get the most out of the treatment, I focus on my breath work and just relax, and the body can do amazing things. A session with her also helps me get a better chiropractic adjustment when I see her just beforehand.

Irene is phenomenal!!I have had pain in my hip for 10 months and nothing seemed to help. I felt like I had tried everything so I decided to try acupuncture and I’m so glad I did!I was absolutely shocked that after seeing her once that the pain was diminishing and after the second visit the pain was almost gone & I wasn’t limping anymore!!!
