My recent visit to Summit Medical Center was a truly comforting experience. The mission statement prominently displayed on the wall immediately set the tone for my visit. Words like *serve, safety, support, and sisterhood* resonated deeply with me, providing a sense of reassurance and comfort during a time that was not so easy.The center itself is adorned with beautiful artwork that adds a serene and uplifting atmosphere. The kind words and genuine warmth from the staff made my visit as smooth as possible. Every member of the staff was kind, friendly, and incredibly attentive to my needs. Additionally, the centers discreet location ensures comfort, safety, and privacy for all patients.**One practical tip for future visitors: bring a sweater or a small throw blanket. Your visit may be long, and it can get quite cold in there.**Summit Medical Centers dedication to creating a supportive and safe environment is evident in every aspect of their service. I highly recommend this medical center to any woman in need of care. They truly embody the spirit of compassion and excellence in women’s healthcare.

I would just like to say this place is awesome!!! They treat you very well here. From the time we called to set the appointment to the time we arrived and was finished everyone was very nice. Ya-ya is the best I have to say this. She was very patient. I know she does not work in the Atlanta location. When we was scheduling we got the wrong button but she still helped us and then had to call back with a few more questions about which procedure etc and she answered all our questions and made us even more comfortable. The ladies when we arrived was nice at check in. And my daughter told me after she went to the back everyone was very nice and treated her very well. She said she did not fell anything and the doctor was trying to do his best to make her feel more comfortable. This is already a difficult situation to be in and for everyone to treat you so well. I just appreciate everyone so much. I would recommend this location to anyone. And I understand that we cannot sit inside or go to the back with the patient. That’s the only down fall. But I also understand it’s for all the other patients privacy and for security purposes. But all and all I would send anyone to these people. They are great.

I got my procedure done September 18 I came all the way from Alabama they are very friendly people I was called to the back by four womenThe ultrasound tech, the lab work lady, the counselor, and the finance lady eventually it was time for me to undress and get my IV in I was there for 3 hours the service was very fast I was expecting to be there for 5-6 hours or more since I had the surgical procedure they took great care of me

Great place. Bring a backup battery for your phone or a book or something to do bc it gets boring in the waiting room. No one can come inside with you. Expect to be there for at least 4-6hours! Doesn’t matter which option you choose you’ll be there awhile.

Be advised, if you’ve brought someone with you to your appointment as a form of emotional support, they cannot sit in the waiting area with you. They must wait outside the building. You cannot talk on the phone. You will be alone throughout the entire waiting process, a minimum of 4 hours.If you may be feeling emotionally vulnerable, pick another place. The staff seemed desensitized, offering only a modicum of empathy as they continue their non-work-related conversations amongst themselves. Any sign of emotional distress you may show, is only met with a question of Are you being forced to do this? The offices are in close quarters and they do not fully close doors, offering little to no privacy between patients.I would like to pointedly mention the nurse in the recovery room that did not offer me a drink nor snack following my procedure as she talked about how good New York Chinese food is. And remarked, in a room full of nurses and other recovering patients, loud enough for me to hear through the closed bathroom door, “That girl needs counseling” after seeing me cry.That being said, my procedure was quick, and I have minimal pain.

The staff was so sweet and very professional. They don’t look at you wrong in any way and respects all woman’s choices.

Using my husbands google account. Don’t mind my name. This place was above and beyond what I expected. I was so anxious and upset about having to do this. I had just had my second baby, and in no way could have a third less than 4 months after my daughter. More power to the women who do, I just knew this was the right choice for me and my family. I felt so comfortable and safe and amongst wonderful caregivers as soon as I walked in the door. Everyone was kind and understanding. The stuff on the wall about women’s empowerment and rights made me feel even more safe and sure I was in the right place. I was there for about 4.5 hours but it didn’t feel like it. I really want to thank the women who work there and provide such an amazing service. The doctor is a man, but he is so comforting and makes you feel like he’s on our side 100 percent. If you need help. Please call them and allow this amazing center to be the ones to assist you. I cannot say enough good things about them, You will not regret it.

The staff was very kind & courteous. I did not have a bad experience with anyone. You can definitely feel the support from the women you come in contact with. Niaomi is an angel on earth & such a great asset to this team. She continued to make sure everyone was okay throughout the entire discharge process. She provided me with juice & crackers, pain medicine & an heating pad, assisted me to the bathroom & escorted me to the lobby to leave. Such a please coming here. Thank you for the support! it’s such a pleasure being surrounded by women who support other women & are happy to do so.

If you need a place to go don’t go anywhere but here. The employees are so fantastic. Even down to the wait they make you wait in a lounge chair and give you a cover. They give you snacks and most importantly they take care of you. They make the process as easy as possible. I’m a super scared person and I have a lot of anxiety but they calmed my fears every step of away. No clinic deserve as much praise as this one. I don’t care if they was doing they’re job or not they exceed every expectation there possible was and give you answers to any questions. Plus most of them are women and they totally understand with not a single judgement. Also , if you’re looking for discreet. They’re located at the back and you can’t even get in unless they ding you in. If you’re not ready for an entire responsibility like me. Go here ! You will feel completely safe and comfortable and well taken care of. By the time I even got my anesthesia a lady was holding my hand and I held dear to that because I’m alone in another state. By the time the operation was done I couldn’t remember a thing but pure happiness that it was all over and that I had went to the right place ! P:S GET YOU out as soon as !

10/10. We were there for 4 hours. They communicated well and made me and my child feel comfortable. Suki the ultrasound technician was so compassionate and empathetic to how I felt. The lab nurse was also very helpful. I recommend this facility a hundred times over.

The clinic is well organized and ran. From the time I made my appointment Sasha was more than accommodating to my situation. She went over and beyond to help me. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient with the process especially Sarah. The sono tech, lab tech (Adrien the Administrator) health ed as well as finance were very pleasant and professional. The entire back office staff made me feel safe and comfortable like I mattered. Im more than appreciative of this clinic, the staff, as well as the work they do. Im sure it isnt easy to deal with angry, hurt, and rude clients but this team does it with no complaints.Thank you Summit!

This morning was a very unpleasant experience. There was ONE nurse at the very end of my visit today who made me feel any sort of comfort, while all the others came off very cold and made me feel uncomfortable. A single how are you doing or feeling would have been nice. It did not feel like woman supporting woman at all. Almost the exact opposite. I’m very upset. Again with the exception of one kind nurse who went over other potential options that would work for me, thank you.

I’m so dramatic when it comes to needles and surgery. So scared sometimes I have pass out in the past well the people here made me feel like I could trust them. The IV felt like nothing, this experience was so amazing n quick I’ll forever consider this clinic plus they help you financially

I found this place through a google search. I didn’t have anyone to refer me. I was looking for someone whom could get me in immediately. I’ve never had to do any of this so this was my first rodeo. I am so glad I came across such a wonderful place with such wonderful staff. I couldn’t ask for a better experience, everyone welcomes you with open arms & treats you like family while you’re here. I was so nervous but the procedure went great & smooth & the staff walked me through every step & reassured me that i would be fine & it definitely eased some anxiety.

Hey ladies,It was my first time being pregnant and having an abortion and was a great place to go. The only downfall was how long it takes to get to the procedure room (5hrs), but I got the anesthesia surgical procedure and it was EASY. The 10 min I spent asleep felt like an 8hr sleep when I awoke. Dr Steve was cool. The after care was good, the ladies were very sweet and accommodating. If you’re ever hesitating about an abortion, or with a man who got you thinking twice or he playing: DO IT. And go here. Totally worth it!! You’ll feel so much relief, just believe in your path and trust your destiny💛

I had a very good experience here. I was very nervous and not sure what to expect. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about what I could expect. Abortion is a hard choice to make. But the staff here makes it completely comfortable. I highly recommend this facility. Thanks Summit for all you do.

Very accommodating staff and pleasant atmosphere.At a time when you need the most support, this clinic did that and much more. Not only is the service affordable but you see where your money is going. The QUALITY of their staff and operations speaks for itself. Whomever directs this place is a PRO!! The management at this place know what they are doing. They hire CARING staff that treats you like a human being rather than a number. I just cant emphasize how absolutely professional and well rounded this entire staff is. The nurse even called a few days after my procedure to check on me! Gave me very useful information and urged me to call her if I had any questions or concerns. I have referred people here and will continue to do so.Highly recommended!

My experience here was absolutely amazing!!! Every woman that I interacted with was very nice and answered any questions that I may have had.Geraldine-Front Desk Staff *I believe she’s the one I spoke with when I first called to schedule an appointment and she’s the reason why I knew I chose the right place. I was placed on hold for not even 3 minutes and she came back on the phone and apologized for the hold time which was nice! Geraldine sent me information via email with instructions on how to get to Summit and do’s/dont’s.Suki- Ultrasound *She did my ultrasound and made me very, very comfortable. We had a great conversation and she made me laugh. (Something that I needed after making such a huge decision) She answered a few questions that I had and was very informative.T- Lab Work *T is my girl!!! We connected as if we had known one another for awhile. I had to thank her for being so kind and making me feel so much better and she turned around and thanked me for being pleasant. All of this was during my initial visit. I had a follow-up appt today and had to see T again for lab work and she was like “heyyyy I remember you juicy veins” *Insider* I told her that I really am glad that I chose Summit and hoped to see her again in passing cause that would be my first and last time having to come there.Erica- Education *There was a group of us that went to speak with Erica and she gave instructions on how to take the pills as well as the do’s and dont’s.. She was very informative and so helpful. When it was just Erica and I in her office, she advised me of how important it was to come back for my follow-up and I reassured her I would be back no doubt.Janice-Vaginal ultrasound *Today during my follow-up visit I had to get a vaginal ultrasound that was performed by Janice. Such a very nice woman and made sure that I was comfortable and apologized at any moment when I would jump during my vaginal ultrasound. It wasn’t painful at all maybe a little uncomfortable and the gel was cold. Janice asked me how I had been doing since my initial visit also. I thanked her for being so kind to me and she replied “you always treat others how you want to be treated.” That is the golden rule that I always live by so it was nice to also interact with someone who lives by the golden rule.This was my first time having to go through something like this and the emotional effect that it has on me is crazy. I didn’t think that I would be so sad but I had to make the best decision for me. Being surrounded by these amazing women really made me feel sooo much better! I highly recommend this establishment!*Be prepared to be there for at LEAST 4-5 hours. Make sure your phone is charged and that you have headphones. It is okay to eat before you come also. I didn’t mind waiting because everyone I interacted with was pleasant.*

My name is Kimberly F. I was seen at summit medical associates and could not have had a better experience. Diamond, Devin , and Laura were so caring and understanding in the recovery process. Steve who administered the anesthesia was funny and kept me comfortable and relaxed. Dr was also very warm and checked on me after procedure. Front desk is also sweet and inviting. I personally will not be back simply because my tubes will be tied after this lol. But I highly recommend this place to anyone thinking about going through this procedure. This facility makes you feel like they honestly care .

I loved my experience. The ladies at the front desk were very helpful, they are so knowledgeable about the whole thing. Joy was soooo amazing , she made sure I was comfortable and relaxed through out the procedure. The ladies at the recovery were great care givers. I’m glad I chose this place. I will definitely recommend it. I had an awake surgery and it went by really fast. Thank you guys at summit.

One of the best facilities in Georgia hands down! The staff here deserves an award. I felt so welcomed, safe, comforted and cared for here. I couldnt have chosen a better clinic. They do not disappoint in anyway. The staff here all work together and do an exceptional job to make you feel so comforting and relaxed. Trust me you are in good hands with this clinic. I have taken friends to other clinics over the years and by far Summey exceeds all expectations.The staff goes above and beyond in care and professionalism. The atmosphere and energy are warm and friendly. The nurses are a well of information from the procedures to birth control.I had never needed services until later in life but after going with so many friends over the years, I was a little nervous. They made everything easy and calmed my nerves immediately. I cannot say enough good things about this center.I would highly recommend Summit to any woman, couple, family etc.Thank you to all at Summit for all you did for me and the amazing way you did it.

I was so nervous and had little luck finding somewhere to do a second trimester abortion. When I came across Summit I figured theyd be my best bet & traveled out of state to come. This place exceeded my expectations and made such a hard and painful time almost a good time. The nurses were beyond sweet and caring & didnt ask any invasive questions. They took the best care of me & Im so appreciative. The wait time is long the first day but the second day surgery was much quicker and youre prioritized. The atmosphere was so encouraging and they have pictures of powerful women and comforting and not even cheesy quotes on the walls to make you feel at ease. Id recommend this place to anyone.

Im beginning to believe the one star ratings are from anti-abortion activists because there is no way they could have had it so terrible. I just had my procedure done today. I chose the awake surgical option, which is my only regret because it was excruciating. However, they were super quick during the surgery. 5 minutes, tops. Got there at 7, left recovery at 12. All in all, very great service. I love the cute peppermint vapor machines that fill the room with that nice smell to help with womens nausea. It was very Zen. All staff was extremely supportive. The pre op room had very nice lounge chairs and they provide you with a blanket so you can nap while waiting for your procedure. Im normally a very impatient person, but they definitely keep you busy during the waiting period. I hope my recovery goes smooth, as well as any other ladies going through this procedure. If youre looking for a facility, please go here. You wont regret it. Thank you to all the staff, nurses, and doctors for making my appointment as comfortable as possible.

Everyone here is friendly and helpful. The front desk staff has great personalities and were easy to talk to. The answer every question with ease. The atmosphere is quiet, calm & clean. The ultrasound techs are very knowledgeable & kind. Ms. Suki was my tech & she was great! She made me feel comfortable & was also very easy to talk to. Shes really smart & loving. The staff was great the facility was clean and nice. It did not take as long as they prepared me for. Everyone made me feel welcomed. During the process the dr talked to me and told me every step. Very clean and wonderful sweet and caring staff. Dr. Suki very warm and kind and even held my hand when i had a week moment. Ericas the health educator so sweet even brought us snacks and so attentive!. Dr. Siegal was so imformative and very warm and kind. Overall very good experience!

The staff @ the Summit was nothing but the best and supportive. I was completely comfortable from the time I called to set the apt to my departure. They where a very very clean facility and every one of the staff had the best personality and concern for me and my feelings. I would recommend them to anyone that that is in the situation.

Before arriving at my appointment I read the previous reviews and though most are good ones I still was nervous going in after reading the bad reviews. I hope I can help to clarify to the next woman who reads these reviews that Summit Medical Associates is extremely professional. Everyone who worked there from the moment I stepped in the door made me feel very welcome and comfortable. Being that this was my first pregnancy and I didn’t know what to expect, the nurses answered every question I had. My appointment was on a Wednesday and I moved pretty quick through all the steps.. I was scheduled at 7:30 and I was leaving the building by 11:30. Four hours seems like a long time but I really felt like I was in and out! Again I’m very appreciative for the kindness I received at Summit Medical Associates and I will definitely recommend to a friend or family member. Oh and I AM A REAL PERSON.. this is not FAKE!

Its really hard to pick a medical center for a situation you really hoped youd never find yourself in...but Summit definitely made this day so much easier. With paperwork, I was in and completely done within 4 hours. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful. The place is clean, well managed, and everyone is really respectful of each other. 100% would recommend to any woman facing this decision

From the front desk workers to the nurses in the recovery area are wonderful. Everybody is so patience & kind . And someone there have green fingers there are plants / flowers everywhere I love it. It so calm even when it’s busy, it was my first time ever and I thought I was gone be very uncomfortable but I was very comfortable and thankful for their service. GO HERE I PROMISE YOU , YOU WONT REGRET IT.

I am highly recommending this place. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. The doctor that worked with me was very positive and made me feel comfortable during this tough decision I had to make. The wait wasn’t too long, I got there at 7:30 and was done by 11:45. I would prefer a week day because the weekends can take 8 plus hours.( I had to reschedule because the wait was terribly long on a Saturday). Also, I am so grateful for the financial assistance they provided.

I have been to other clinics in Atlanta and can say with all certainty that this one is truly the best. Everyone there is kind and compassionate and will go the extra mile to help you through a difficult time. They offer financial assistance and a sliding scale to clients having a hard time getting the funds together. The building and facility is beautiful. Its great they are open on Saturdays! So happy I found a place like this!

Im beyond thankful for this establishment. Mrs. Suki took amazing care of me. Very professional and gave me much grace even when I didn’t have any for myself. I would recommend her and this place 1000 times. They are saving lives.

This place is great! Well I can only assume. I spoke with a woman on the phone with such a nice tone and demeanor! It was like I was talking to my favorite cousin, not making a pretty scary phone call. My questions did not seem like burdens (cough cough Planned Parenthood) and they gave me my price options up front. (Also cheaper than PP) At the end of the call I was in such a good mood and no longer nervous about the procedure. Because of the service on the phone alone I know this is a great place. Both unfortunately and fortunately I will not be needing their services anymore, but if I may in the future I know exactly where to book my appointment!

The termination of my pregnancy was done today at Summit Medical. This was unfortunately my second rodeo personally so I have experience with one other clinic as well. Though I have no real complaints about the other clinic because they got the job done, I will say that Summit Medical is a step above the rest. Everything was done in an organized fashion. The ambiance was really nice especially compared to other clinics within the atlanta area. I was out on a Friday within only 4 and a half hours though I was told to be prepared for a 6-8 hour stay. Even with being a whole hour late for my 8:30 appt due to some unfortunate events the morning of, and that is very good if you ask me. I see a lot of people complain about time but I’d rather go to a reputable establishment that takes time with each patient than go to one thats just trying to get everyone in and out like it’s a fast food line. This is surgery !!! So yes it takes time. Though it’s only a 5 -10 minute procedure (sometimes even shorter) Precautions need to be taken!! Even if you’re getting the pill you still have to go through a process that will take a few hours. The employees seemed to be knowledgeable and kind enough. The price was just a tad bit higher than others with only about a 35 dollar difference for me with financial aid. But like I said I would gladly splurge a little when it comes to something dealing with my health for the best care and experience if I’m in a position to. I would recommend this establishment to a friend (hopefully I don’t have to though). My experience here was as pleasant as it could be given the circumstances because no one ever really wants to go through this but if you find yourself between a rock and hard place then sometimes you have to do what you have to do. -Blessings

This was the last place that I wanted to be and the wait was long but I could understand why. From the moment I made my appointment to the day I walked in, everyone was so nice. I definitely done my research of similar places in the area. Most of them had bad reviews! I didn’t go in expecting pity, but everyone from the ultrasound, lab tech and health educator were so respectful and polite. Thank you all so much! I hope I never have to see y’all again though lol!

This place is so organized I have never had any problems with them or complications. They lane the process comfortable and offer general anesthesia. I’m upset because if you’re over 6 weeks in the state of Georgia you can’t get procedure done anymore. This is heart breaking because this is the only clinic that I trust 😞!

Suki was so curt and cold towards me. I went through the procedure with no support system and needed emotional support. No one empathized with me, instead I was disregarded like an animal instead of being treated like someone who paid $600 for a service.

WAITED 11 HOURS,this was the worst experience of my life. I got there at 7:05 filled out paper work then waited. At 845 i was informed that my appointment papers were lost and i couldnt be put in a spot regardless of the email i showed confirming my appointment. At915 i asked to reschedule,one of the front desk nurses,walked off in the middle of me talking to help find my paper work,site came back immediately saying she found it and my last name was wrong,i then waited another four hours to be seen,they then had me take two pills which they did not inform me was optional,so i had to wait another four hours for my surgery. I was put to sleep and when i woke up there was this horrible horrible pain,instead of asking me to take my time and are you ok, the nurse(JOY) kept insisting that i get up off the bed and walk to a chair,after two attempts she got frustrated, from her body movements she was annoyed.she then asked me to take some pain medicine which did not help at all. She gave me some crackers and nothing to drink,but offered it to everyone else,her co worker noticed and asked if i needed anything to drink. I didnt not leave until 5:25pm. I have never felt so bad and uncomfortable in my life please dont go here. The staff picks and choose who they tend to give exceptional service too. I would have gave it a zero if i could. Also there were a few great doctors that were great,the supervisor who was on duty did an excellent job with trying to make me feel as comfortable as possible,but her team failed her today and thats really unfortunate.I was also denied birth control because they said it was late even tho I came early..........after this experience Dr. Elizabeth called me,voiced her concern, which I could hear her concern, and apologized for my experiences and made me feel like an actual human. I really appreciated her calls. I was offered back for my birth control, free of charge. If we had more doctors and people like her, the world would be a better place. The nicest person I have ever met. I can honestly say even tho I had a bad experience,she made sure my pain was felt and that her and her staff was incredibly sorry. Unpleasant situation. Sarah was unprofessional and made an unnecessary comment at the time of me checking in and it ruined my morning. As a lead she should communicate better with the patients.

This has to be thee best medical clinic around. Everyone was so caring ❤. My BP was high and I was treated with top priority. During my follow up almost every staff member greeted me and was very concerned about my overall health. It felt good to be cared for in such a manner. Thanks summit you guys rock!

The staff at summit medical were wonderful. They were very helpful and seem to really care about the needs of there patients. Im more than happy that I was able to go through this experience with such great people. I would recommend this facility to anyone if were asked.

They made the experience much calmer for me and absolutely are who I would recommend. I came all the way from Tennessee to them and I was a complete wreck, I was the third to complete all my paper work so I got out quicker but the staff are comforting the doctors are amazing. I experienced pretty awful cramping with the dilators but they gave me pain medication and a heating pad. After the procedure I felt barely any pain. The nurses were Amazing at checking on each girl and when its over youre able to stay as long as you need. Id recommend them any day.

The staff here was incredible. Deborah, Sookie(Suki), Steve and Laura made my experience very comfortable & really took care of me. I highly recommend them...highly. And dont be scared :) The wait was a little long (as to be expected) but the level of customer service in such an unknown experience was totally worth it.

Starting from beginning to end my experience at this location was up to par. I do want you to understand that the process to take some time so also be mentally prepared to be there for a couple of hours and have someone that you trust to be with you to encourage you along the way. The staff was very friendly they gave as much information as needed and supported you, they didn’t make you feel like he was making The wrong decision. Before you leave the facility they make sure that you feel 100% and if not they will make sure they do what they can to make you feel better. I will definitely recommend anyone here without no doubt. I had a Procedure done April 27.2018 it was tough for me emotionally and mentally. The waiting process was very slow an this was an all day process . The lady’s in there were incredible they were patient with me I was uncertain in my decision and wanted myself to be confident enough in making this decision. I appreciate the time each of the women took with me . The clinic was very clean and they made it comfortable to your liking.

SUMMIT honored appointment times!So greatful I found this place after I walked out of another facility offering the same service but a cheaper price. SUMMIT MED is well worth the money! I was nervous & booked an appointment at the 1st place I saw unfortunately I didnt pay attention to the 3.1 rating! Luckily I got my whits about me & left I GOOGLED again & paid attention to RATINGS this time. I cry anytime I think of how I almost went somewhere else. SUMMIT WAS PERFECT FOR ME! SUMMIT deserves a perfect 5 in my opinion. I was treated like an individual & like a human with feelings that MATER! Literally anyone working there asked me how I was feeling & really listened. I cant say enough wonderful things about my personal experience

I didn’t know what to expect coming here but from the time I walked in the door I was handled with care. Each staff member was attentive and helpful. Any concerns I had they reassured me that I was safe. My situation was different being that I had a fetal demise, my surgery was expedited and I only spent a total of 4 hours at the clinic. Thank you Summit Medical Associates.

The clinic is okay. The staff is mostly very nice. I understand that there are limited clinics in the area that perform abortions and it can take longer to see all the patients, but the scheduling is very poor. Everyone is scheduled to come in at the same time and are seen one after another with very little privacy.In addition, the wait before the surgery is 3-8 hours, because everyone is scheduled to come in at the same time and have to get seen. However, the weirdest part is that you are pretty much kicked out right after the surgery. I was rushed to get change and get out in ~15 minutes after the procedure. They do not give patients any time to recover. Right after the abortion, you are given a juice box and crackers, before I was able to finish my juice, I was rushed out of the door. There is no privacy in the recovery room either. I seen patients who could barely walk, being rushed out within 20 minutes of the procedure.Abortion is very difficult for some people. Would be nice if the clinic felt less trashy, but more surgical and sterile.

From the moment you enter the building, you’re greeted by multiple staff members who are busy yet take the time to smile and make you feel welcomed.You’re greeted and handed paperwork to fill out. It’s no more paperwork than a new patient packet at a doctors office. Besides, you’re having a procedure and you should disclose, for your safety, all that is asked. There are two large rooms for seating and television is available while you wait.After paperwork is filled out, these females have a perfected rhythm with patients to get through the remaining process. This includes blood work, a sonogram, counseling, pre-op, and recovery.Every staff member had a smile on their face and is ready to answer any questions or concerns you may have.Once you arrive in the OR you are greeted by a friendly physician and asked if you have any questions. If you do decide to get anesthesia, you will meet one of the most comforting Anesthesiologists in the Atlanta area. Before you know it, you’re off to sleep and wake up surrounded by nurses who are extremely attentive. They provide you with snacks, drinks and make certain you’re comfortable.I’ve been to two facilities of this nature and I can assure you, this facility is the most professional of them all. During this period in your life, they provide you with all the comfort and support you could need. That is VERY important at this time in your life.I will always recommend Summit Medical to anyone. And if I could thank each staff member personally, I would. Such a great group!

I relied on prior reviews and was very satisfied. First time.I am very picky and am not a fan of clinics or hospitals but this was definitely no where near a bad experience. Staff is Amazon and patient. Went by myself no aesthetic because it is required if you dont have a driver. I was mostly worried about the pain I would undergo during surgery. It was bareable and not an excruciating pain (Everyone reacts differently). After, sat comfortably with my heating pad with minor to nothing cramps. After visit drove home pretty aware and calm and went about my day with out the worries. Only thing I would say I would like to change is getting a follow up call prior to an appointment. I couldnt remember what procedures she told me to take before coming to my appointment such as (not eating or drinking for a certain amount of time) by the time I got off of work it was too late to ask my question on the phone.

I read the reviews before coming and it made me skeptical about choosing this location but I’m glad I didn’t let it scare me away, a lot of people were saying everyone was rude here, everyone I came in contact with was very nice and patient especially the counselor she wore glasses and was light skin wish I knew her name but she was the best . The ultrasound lady was nice enough to me give a copy of the ultrasound. The overall experience was good wait times are kinda obsolete but you can expect that especially on a Friday so make sure your schedule is clear . I got here around 8:15am ish and got discharged at 2:25. The only thing I didn’t like was that the guy had to poke me with the needle twice for the anesthesia but this is cuz I hate needles. At the end when you wake up they give you a choice of snacks and you get juice and water. So far I only feel minor cramps and light bleeding. I would recommend this place. Also it’s very discreet and is all the way in the back of the plaza , thankfully there were no protesters.

During a tough time I felt this staff was excellent. Yes, you will be there about 3-4 hours, but I knew that before I got there because they told me over the phone about the visit. Our appointment was at 230 and they called us in about 210. You go through steps until you get to the main part, but again the staff here has heart and in such a tough time, it was welcomed.

Every staff member at Summit Medical is friendly and informative. I’ve been through this surgery before and faced complications afterwards: a low blood pressure in the recovery room, extreme pain and blood clots the size of a lemon developed 2 days later from a different medical clinical so I was very nervous of how my outcome would be. The staff at Summit Medical listened to me and made me feel at ease about my concerns and assured me I wouldn’t have that experience with them. Steve came into the Pre-op room and entertained us ladies with jokes while we waited to be called. A day later and I am thankful I chose this facility. The staff at the Summit Medical is excellent!

All the staff was very helpful, comforting, and willing to explain anything when I needed it. The process -ultrasound-counselor-lab tests was done really quick and i thought i would be there for more than 6 hours like others mentioned but it was only about 3:30-4 hrs. The anaesthesiologist is flawless and so is the surgeon. I was so nervous going in just because of the anaesthesia but the procedure was fast and I didn’t feel a thing. Even afterwards, you are monitored and catered to in order to make sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. I am glad that it’s over with a feel a huge sense of relief and wanted to cry at how thankful I was with this clinic.I wouldn’t ever go to any other clinic but Summit Medical if I was ever in this situation again. And just take a deep breath. Everything will be fine.

Staff was rude but the gynecologist and the anesthesiologist were exceptional. Both were comforting and made me feel truly cared for. Very professional with impeccable communication skills. Those two made my experience favorable.

This clinic is so supportive and amazing. My husband and I have 2 kids and weren’t planning on more, but his vasectomy wasn’t completely healed. We went here and they supported us the entire way. Even had to come back because I knew I was pregnant before they could see it on the ultrasound. But they listen and they are awesome!

The staff was very friendly with good bedside manner I just did not enjoy the wait. I had an appointment at 8am and by 1pm I was still in the waiting room. I think they should do everything once they call you back one time then have you wait. It is a nice place however just be prepared to spend ALL day here.

Okay. Im just going to get to the point. Yes, youre going to have to wait. If you go to any clinic, youre going to have to wait, especially in Bible Belt Georgia where there arent a ton of abortion clinics. Get over it. I was there for four hours today. You do what you have to do. Fact is, Ive done this twice now. Not thrilled about it - no one ever is - but when circumstances come up, you have to take care of them in the way that is best for you. This clinic is safe. This clinic is clean. And the staff was comprised of some of the nicest and most understanding people Ive ever met. The bad reviews - dont trust them. I know youre just going to see that 3.whatever that Google has listed, but those people clearly could not be reviewing the same clinic. Thats just the truth of it. Yes, youre going to wait, but this clinic is busy. Theyre trying to get through everyone and show everyone there the proper respect and understanding for their situations. Dont be bitter and think it should just be quick. The clinic is very concerned about privacy; theyre very concerned with making sure everyone is okay at the clinic and even when they have to get home and deal with those who might not approve of their choice. This is a good place. If youre facing this decision and abortion is your option, Summit Medical is good. Youll feel cared for and taken care of. Trust them.

This was my first time in this situation and I had no idea what to expect. I have extremely bad anxiety and was very nervous about this appointment. The staff took away any worries that I had. Every single one of them was so sweet and caring. There is a wait but be patient. Every single person has a different circumstance that they are trying to handle! The bad reviews that people are leaving made me worried but none of them were true at all.

It was a good visit overall. But let me just say, this place is a little hard to find, it is in between a construction zone and a papa johns and then you go all the way to the back. And make sure you have an NON EXPIRED license or a birth certificate or else they wont take you. The staff was about half and half friendly and just doing their job. It took about all day but considering how busy they are that is understandable . They really do the best that they can and as effeciently as they can. The waiting area for pre op was nice and quiet and you get to watch TV. It is an open environment and I didnt feel judged or uncomfortable. They also help in anyway they can financially if there is a problem. The pricing was not bad either. However make certain you go as soon as you can otherwise the price will go up so be prepared. Overall this place did a great job at making the client feel better about the situation.

This was my first time I didnt know what to expect the wait was long but thats to be expected I got there at 8am left around 1pm. A lot of paperwork lol but necessary the staff was nice and very comforting. The anesthesiologist was so nice and the Doctor when I woke up I had slight cramps I was given Motrin to ease the pain but it was a success! Ladies dont worry your in great hands. They also give crackers and juice after since u cant eat anything before your procedure. It was a smooth process I recommend them over any clinic they are the best.

I was here from opening to closing and still haven’t actually been seen. The sheet said don’t eat 8 hrs prior to my appointment. The person on the phone told me not to eat the day of at all. Well it’s 17th s and I haven’t eaten or haven’t any water yet. I’m dizzy, weak and tired. DETRIMENTAL. If y’all know we’re going to be sitting for so long, LET US EAT prior to our appointment. Someone on staff said we don’t know how many people are going to show up. Well schedule people accordingly and you will NEVER have this issue unless you incorporate walk ins.Mind you, I’ve been here since 9am and writing this review at 4:58pm… yet to be seen.

I went there on a Saturday morning and they already warned me that it’s the busiest day of the week , so the wait time was no problem with me considering how many people they had in there , But BRIANNA was by far my favorite ! She takes her time to hear what you have to say ! & her office is so warm and inviting ! You can tell she loves what she does ! The doctor on the other hand DEBORAH was awful ! Only saw her for maybe 3 minutes the whole 8 1/2 hours I was there ! She was dry didn’t show a compassionate bone in her body no emotion at all ! Straight to the point , wanted to have an attitude when people asked questions ! The doctor is the only reason I gave it 4 stars !

I had services done at this location today. Previously there a clinic same building just upstairs theyre the ones who gave a bad experience. Summit has great staff was professional, informative, and clean. A bit pricey but you get what you paid for. Clinic upstairs pre-op waiting room is so uncomfortable, and we waited for hours. I was expecting same from this clinic, but to my surprise pre-ops room was so comfortable, in this room would have not mind waiting for a while, in those comfortable lazy boys. I didnt have to wait as soon as I closed my eyes they woke me up, saying its my turn. I went cheap before, not a great experience! They are worth the extra money! Hands down go here!

This was the most pleasant experience I could ever imagine. I was already traumatized from accidentally going to a Christian based clinic that lied to me about what was happening with my body and tried to convince to make decisions I wasn’t able to. So I was already shaken and afraid to deal with anymore explicitly incorrect information and judgemental remarks to me. However as soon as I came to the clinic. Everyone was nice, the waiting room was comfortable, rooms were clean, the help was prompt and informative. Though I wish I never step foot into these halls again, I’m happy the first and last time was at the summit medical.

I Had a Surgical ABORTION(Local) meaning i was awake throughout the entire process. The Staff were the most CORDIAL INDIVIDUALS I HAVE met, literally mean EVERYONE Especially the RN Lauren, Consultant Aliya just to name a Few.(the staff did not have an attitude). The Staff is A mixture of Black, Asian, White.95% of staff are Women. The Doctor was a MAN. The reason I gave the facility 3 stars is due to the waiting time. I arrived at 8 a.m. and I didnt leave until 2 p.m. Also there is not enough seating for the amount of patients they booked for that Day(many women were Standing).

Long long long long wait. Some of the staff was nice and some were not. the ultrasound girl wasnt very friendly nor was the doctor. When patients have to be there so long everyone should be nice. long story short I ended up leaving and going somewhere else.

2/5 because my first experience was horrible, the lady who answered the phone named Sarah was so rude. She will talk over you & I don’t understand that because why would the patient not have anything necessary to say? Abortions are hard to go through. I think all the staff could be more nice. I get they might be tired of the repetitive daily routine but guess what, find a job you like. When you work in a clinic you need to be nice. I would’ve gave a 3/5 but Sarah is the reason it’s a 2. She’s very rude, you can tell she either does not care or she did not want to be there that day. I even had to call & try to speak to someone else. The other woman was a complete opposite from her, I wish I wrote her name down. Most of the women that work there seem like they don’t want to be there. Examples: woman who takes your ultrasound. & the woman who took my blood pressure was also rude, when going over my paperwork she was asking me about an answer I chose then crossed out- when she was asking me about it she says “Well who wrote it then?”... On top of that the way she grabbed my attention to address the paperwork was “Ugh come over here.”. I just think a lot of the staff does not want to be there.

I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and decided to get my D&C procedure here rather than a hospital and let me tell you, this was the BEST place I could have chosen. Everyone there is beyond nice and goes the extra mile to make sure you are comfortable. I came in at 8am with very bad nausea they offered me zofran as soon as I mentioned the nausea which helped tremendously. In the pre op room they provide comfy recliners and you can nap while you wait. They work with you on payment and they are just all around wonderful. Certainly dont want to have to come back but if I did have to I would choose summit medical again.

Great staff, everyone was nice & informative. I really want to thank them bc I had my appt at 7 am & over slept but came in at 8:40 am & they were still able to see me. Overall I would say this is a 5 star facility that really knows what theyre doing. Left around 12 p.m. once I got to the pre op room everything went fast & smoothly. Woke up from the procedure & they were supportive, gave me animal cookies & lemonade. After that I was in my way home.

My name is Alihah L , and I would first off like to start off by saying that a 5 star rating is an understatement this clinic deserves a 10 star rating . From the time you walk in and check in from the ultrasound , to the bloodwork from the counseling and the doctor and every single nurse I came in contact was very nice ! Everyone was very nice and welcoming. The environment was very nonjudgmental. I would highly recommend this clinic to any and everyone. I don’t plan on coming back but If I ever have to this is where I would come.

The staff is very kind, supportive, knowledgeable and respectful. They give very detailed information in the email, and allow you to do your paperwork ahead of time. Diamond was very knowledgeable and could answer all questions in a realistic manner. The long wait is the only down side.

This is the clinic you need to go to when you’ve made the difficult decision to terminate.I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I am I will never go anywhere else. This place is wonderful. Obviously, it was not the best of circumstances for me to have to be here in the first place, but they made this hard time in my life so much easier. They treated me with respect and compassion. I was there all day long, but I couldnt have asked for them to be more kind, professional or compassionate. I have been to other facilities in the area (with a friend, not for myself) and this place is the best by a long shot.

Horrible Experience. Booking and appointment was easy, staff are welcoming and friendly esp Mogan, shes a sweetheart. So the day if my appointment, everything went well until I got to the ultrasound tech who introduces herself as Dr. Something... No sac found and chased my off her table. I was appealing to her to check again but she insisted I came back in 3 weeks. Well thats not the issue, a pregnant test was ran which resulted positive and I was sent with a print out on ectopic pregnancy. No education, nothing!Im thankful to be alive to tell this story. Now listen up, if this ever happens to you, please drive yourself to the nearest Emergency room. Ectopic pregnancy is a medical emergency and please do not wait!!!. When it raptures, it becomes life threatening. Thank you!. Ultrasound lady, please be nice to people. Educate and give people a chance to live and amend their mistakes.

The staff was incredibly nice to me and my girlfriend throughout the whole abortion process. The bathroom was clean, the waiting area had coloring books and lots of color pencils. The tv was playing Discovery channel which was entertaining and I dont know about the other televisions that they had. But I bet they were also playing something interesting. The only thing that made this review a 4 star instead of a 5 star was. ((The Doctor)) she was a lady with short curly gray hair and glasses and I would say skinny build. Well that Doctor was just the worst Doctor that I have ever met, she had such a bad attitude and her attitude towards us was like of someone that doesnt wants talk to you. We asked her a question about the pills and she said ugh looking at us with a face of disgust can you explain to them again about the pills saying that to another person that was outside the door waiting for the doctor to finish everything with us. So after that, the Doctor just left everything to the other person and she just left the room with a face that you could clearly see was of anger, disgust and rudeness. Other than that this place is amazing except that the Doctor left us feeling like if you just were being harrassed.

Make your appointment on a day you don’t have nothing to do. It took forever . The ultrasound sound lady didn’t show no compassion. It just seen like she was ready to go. Everything was quick until they took my payment then everything just stop wasn’t called on for an hour

I would never recommend this place. And I have my paper work to show I was a actually patient and not a anti abortion person. I think that the owner posting that next to a patience comments is as low as you can go. I believe every word they commented. Without going into detail I would highly NOT recommend this place. But however if you do go plan the whole day my appt 10:30am went home around 5pm just sat in the waiting rm. And the room you go to the most horrible smell I had to hold my breath. Just dont go to this place.

Considering that I had the Essure implants which was supposed to be sterilization, I ended up here. I hated the idea of being pregnant because the purpose of the implants was to make sure I never got pregnant AGAIN! But despite all of that, the staff was incredibly sympathetic to me. They let know that me being here was not a mistake and that they understood why I made the decision I made. I would definitely recommend this facility the love and care they show is like NO other!

I am very unhappy with this facility. My daughter went up to have this very traumatic procedure at 10:45 am. She has been alone and without the Dad to face the anxiety and waiting without any updates or ability to be with her. It is now 2:56 pm and there is still no communication.

I found out I was pregnant the day of my missed period and had so much anxiety. I never thought I would get pregnant until I was married and finished with college. I made the extremely tough decision to go through with abortion. I did research on EVERY abortion clinic and was utterly terrified from reviews people had left. I had a personal recommendation from a friend to go to Summit. They offer surgical and medical abortions, and I decided that the surgical would probably be better for me. The day of my appointment, my boyfriend came with me, and there was plenty of seating. We filled out paperwork, and they shortly called my name. I first got an ultrasound, and the lady performing the ultrasound was so kind and answered all of my questions. I then spoke with a health counselor privately about my different options, and she was very informative and helpful about all of my different options and wanted to make sure that I was confident about my decision. I then went in with a nurse, and she checked my vitals and tested my blood type to see if I was RH positive, and I was. I went back out into the waiting room for about 10 minutes, and they called me back and had me dress into a gown with footies and gave me a blanket. I was taken to a dark room with reclining chairs and a tv to wait until my procedure. About five minutes later, a nurse called me back, and my heart started racing. I was walked into the operating room and instructed to lay on the table and put my feet in stirrups. The nurse anesthetist was sitting next to me and was telling me everything he was doing. I told him I was very scared, and he assured me that it would go smoothly. The doctor introduced himself kindly, and the anesthetist said he was going to inject the anesthesia. I felt myself falling asleep, and the next thing I knew I was awake and in the recovery room. I had cramping, but they gave me a heating pad, lemonade, and saltines. I told them I felt nauseous (a common side effect of anesthesia) and that I had some bad cramping (due to my cervix returning to its normal size). A very sweet nurse waited on me and gave me hydrocodone, ibuprofen, and anti-nausea medication.After about 30 minutes, I got dressed, they gave me medication to take home along with my instructions afterwards, and I was on my way home. By the time I left, I had no cramping and no bleeding. I went home and slept while my boyfriend took care of me. My appointment was at 8:30 and I left a little after 12:00. That was yesterday, and today I still have no cramps or bleeding, and my morning sickness has subsided. Mind you, this is an abortion clinic not Disney World. But for what it is and what youre getting done, everything went very smoothly and they took great care of me. Abortions can seem very scary and traumatic, so I wanted to leave a REAL review of my experience for those of you who arent sure where to go or what to do.

9/30 Update: I contacted this location back approximately one week later, as my daughter decided she wanted to go here for the procedure. The young lady who answered placed me on hold when I advised I was calling to make an appointment. After several minutes, Elizabeth gets on the phone and proceeds to tell me about the Google review I left. Elizabeth indirectly told me that I was lying about my experience left in my review and pretty much told me that based on my review that I didnt feel as if Summit could offer care to my daughter and because of that, she refused an appointment for my daughter. When I questioned if she was denying my daughter an appointment because of a Google review she made a comment about my behavior while at the clinic. Elizabeth was nowhere around while I was there and when I provided her clarification on what happen while there and my conversation with Selena (a supervisor who is great btw and should be working somewhere else) Elizabeth proceeds to tell me how she wasnt there. Well DUH! So how dare you speak on my behavior?? I have never been this insulted and disrespected by a business, EVER! I requested Elizabeths bosses information and she told me her name is Tonya Little. When I requested Tonyas number, she said in a very nasty and rude tone, Im not giving you her number. Elizabeth ensured me that in approximately one week I would hear from Tonya. Well here we are, approximately one month later and I havent heard from anyone. I will not be letting this go as I have reason to believe that Elizabeth called DFACS on me after our visit there. I guess she isnt aware that making false claims with DFACS is a huge no no. Tonya Little, or whomever else with Summit will be taking responsibility for Elizabeths behavior.They lied to me and told me my insurance did not cover the procedure and told me I would have to pay out of pocket. I called my insurance company and found out that no one from this place had even called to verify. My insurance did offer coverage. I was given some weak apology when I called them back and called them out on trying to get over on me. In addition to that; this place advocates for teens to have babies. I thought this was an abortion clinic, not a place to tell a child how she can keep a child and how she can run away from home and not get in trouble because she is pregnant.

Hands down this clinic did a fantastic job . They did not judge me but made be feel at home .The staff there are great but Adrain who schedule my appointment and help me out so much and Adrien who collected the payment went above and beyond to help me . I am just really thankful for this clinic and the way they handeled everything . I highly recommend coming to this clinic.

I went to this facility June 11th and my hemoglobin was very low and they proceeded with the abortion. This caused me to go to hospital twice and the emergency room performed a DNC. My blood pressure dropped dangerously low. I called these people on several occasions before this happen and they said everything was normal. Instead of getting me in the office and examining me they told me it was normal. Ive had a OBGYN to do what they was suppose to do. I asked for refund they refused. DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY AND DONT CARR NOTHING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU AFTER U LEAVE THE OFFICE!

I received an abortion from this clinic I didn’t have the money so they give me a discount. I felt really bad afterwards and bleeding heavy for 3 weeks. I had a lower scar after waking up and the lady just said that happen in my procedure. I hadn’t had any kids since I been trying for years now. I wouldn’t recommend this abortion clinic to anyone. I’m fact I pray I can have a Health baby despite of what this clinic may had incorrectly done. What a great place!!! the staff is soooooo friendly.. This place is clean and well organized.. I had one done many years ago. I went to summit and due to money issues i was given an opportunity to get it done at a discounted price if i signed some documents not allowing me to take any legal action against them if any issues arose during the procedure. I had it done at the discounted price and 2 weeks later coming down my steps blood came down my legs and clots also. I was rushed to emergency and given an emergency d&c... Why would i need that after an abortion??? Not to mention years later i had not been able to carry to term after i had gotten married and was in a better space my doctor said the abortion really messed me up my water broke twice at 23 weeks smh. Boy do i regret ever signing a paper because otherwise Id have a lawsuit.

We got here when they opened and they told my gf wouldn’t take more than 2-3 hours to get the pill but we are still here and they close in an hour and a half. People are getting mad because no one is calling anyone back the staff are just talking and eating playing on phones. Took our money at 10:44 and it’s now 3:18 and nothing. Ridiculous.
