I came in for a test 5/6/24 and was told the results would be available in 5-7 business days. After more than three weeks waiting I followed up asking for my results. I was told they were looking into it. Two more days went by before they admitted they had lost my results, blaming the lab company and taking no responsibility. The people I interacted with at the clinic were professional and friendly, and it was a nice space. But the results are what matter.AID Atlanta, if you want to do better, first, dont lose peoples test results. Second, take ownership of your mistakes. Even if your Lab partner screwed up, you still should have been proactive about checking for the results and it should not have taken me almost a month to find this all out.

It’s ridiculous how places don’t hire compassionate people for sensitive topics. I had called before I came (3 o clock) in because I was going to be driving for 45 minutes I told them my ETA and they said I should be fine depending on how many people come and that it wasn’t busy. When I get there (only took me 30 mins arrived at 3:30), there’s no one at the front desk to tell you where to go or anything, so I started reading the signage and went to a desk where some very rude male was sitting. He said they’ve seen over 200 people and I would not be seen today even though the sign says last check in is at 5:30. I explained that I had called, the man on the other line told me that it wasn’t a long wait. How could the spots fill up in 30 minutes? I understand that it is Atlanta and indeed there could’ve been a lot of people within that time to sign in, but there’s no way that all the spots could’ve filled up when there’s still two hours left.I’m so sorry that those 200 people probably had to deal with that nasty attitude!

First time ever being tested so it was slightly nerve wracking at first. It was a great experience. It didn’t take too long. Scanned the QR and filled out the required information. Waited for a few and then I gave a urine sample, got my mouth swabbed, and finger pricked in about 30 minutes. The workers were very helpful and friendly.

This place is my favorite Testing Center of all testing centers I have ever visited. Additionally, it is at no COST to you! What more can you ask for beside a phenomenal customer service, which they do provide with joy. It is simply refreshing to observe them do what they do to help out the locals in finding their health status. Also, the place is impeccably clean. Results are delivered electronically with total discretion. Fantastic!

Guy at the front desk with the curly blonde tips need to be removed. I walked in at 5:04 and the clinic is suppose to close at 7 today. He couldn’t even look me in my eyes while talking to me and the attitude was horrendous. I asked what’s a good time to come in if I couldn’t get tested now and he responded with no eye contact “12 pm because we close at 4” and that is not what the automated call says. I am highly disappointed that this clinic doesn’t have compassionate people for sensitive things! Management needs to work on that asap!

Compared to their old facility, this place is very nice.Parking lot is on google. STAY IN LEFT LANE ON SPRING STREET. SAYS AHF.Call them for directions. Can be a bit confusing upon walking in as nobody in there tells you what to do or how to log in/check in. Even with the woman up front I had to go ask for help. Please dont assume everyone here knows what to do. I saw members of the community helping new people instead of staff helping people.

If I could rate this facility 10 stars I would. First star would go to Ted. He helped to answer all of my questions over the phone and proceeded to ask if I was familiar with the area( Im not just moved to ATL) before he offered driving directions. He was a major key because I would have never found parking had I not had his guidance. I too encountered a young man with curly blonde tips and he was very efficient. Not everyone smiles all the time and thats ok. He was working and it was clear to me he was trying to get folks taken care of. I was finished my registration by 12:50 and out by 1:20 even after having my blood drawn (by Derrick Howard -- he is fun & a magician with the needle... I didnt feel a thing). Shout out to Kay, who also worked in the phlebotomy area and big thanks to the first person that administered all of my other tests (I didnt get his name but he was pleasant and thoroughly explained everything). Everyone was so kind and looked happy to be at work. This place is CLEAN and friendly and I am fortunate to have come at the perfect time because I was in& out. Thanks so much.

Pros: The nursing, MA, and medical staff are wonderful kind people and are a pleasure. The pharmacy is on top of it as well and makes sure you can get your meds.Cons: Theres some major inefficiency and/or lack of communication with scheduling especially. When Delma left the office, it was obviously a big loss, but NO ONE called me to reschedule my appointment. It wasnt until the pharmacy actually had called me to tell me they had no more refills before I knew that something was wrong. The medical staff is overbooked and is consistently running behind because 20 minute appointments are too short.Suggestions: Book phlebotomy appointments 1-2 weeks before provider appointments. Theres no reason why someone with well-controlled HIV needs to see their provider twice. Just have them come in for labs a week earlier, and then have them see the provider once for their refills and to go over bloodwork. Done. One visit. That also means the followup visit needs to be scheduled WITH the phlebotomy appointment, because we know how appointment schedules can go.TLDR:-Pro: Great medical and pharmacy staff-Con: Disorganized scheduling and lack of communication.Suggestions:-Reschedule before you cancel appointments-Book phlebotomy appointments and the 2 week follow-up at the same time so that youre not double booking your medical staff. Fewer appointments to deal with, more efficient for the office staff.

Come here if you want to waste your time and gas money! I called yesterday to ensure if i could walk in or not around 2pm so I wouldn’t waste gas and time and the lady on the phone said I could pull up to their location that there would be a hour wait and I said that was fine. I get to the place only for the front desk lady to tell me that they have cut testing for the rest of the day to come back in today early morning at 9:30…they made me pull up for not reason!! That is the reason why i called before hand so that wouldn’t happen and they mislead me with information! I tried again today, i came in early morning at 10am LIKE THEY ASKED and the front desk guy told me testing was cut till 11:45pm and said to come back at that time…SO I came back at that exact time only for the front desk guy to tell me testing was cut AGAIN Till 1pm and had an attitude about it. The staff is very rude, its giving no one wants to work, they tell people false times about when to come in this is unacceptable. THEY ARE NOT TESTING PEOPLE. Really good experience here!! Free STD testing AND treatment even if you are underage and/or don’t have insurance. The wait is usually very long so I recommend coming on a day where you don’t have any plans and also coming a few hours before they close. 4 stars because I came an hour and 15 minutes before they closed to pick up pills when they stopped taking patients 15 minutes prior and I wish they would’ve made that more clear because this place is 45 minutes away. Was not a stressful experience at all and I will definitely be returning

So in the past I came here before for testing and had no problem getting in and out. Despite them being rude in the office I was still was able to get what I came for. Well yesterday I came in about 4 / 4:30 dude looked at me up and down & told me “we have 20 patients and hard to tell if they will get done at 6” (site says 6:30) okay understandable but I drove 45 mins and left my job early to get here.Today I get here at 2 O’CLOCK & the place doesn’t close for another 3 almost 3 & 1/2 hours (I can not make this up) and they’re saying due to high volume we are not taking anymore patients and to call next time. I can not keep wasting my gas and time coming out here when I live 45 mins away. The only reason I come because it’s one of the only few places I know that does free testing and until I find somewhere else to go. This is just frustrating for those are just trying to look out for their health. Maybe add another location ?

AID Atlanta is providing wonderful service to the city of Atlanta. I called their number first, and the person on the phone told me to look at the Google Street version to make sure I went into the right turn. Cause of COVID, I waited outside before going in to fill out paper and get my temperature taken. Everyone else waiting alongside me wore their masks, were roughly 6 feet apart and overall very respectful. I went back outside to wait, went inside to wait and then got tested. The staff were kind, polite and listened to my needs and gave me resources for my questions. Through request, a nurse got a hold of the doctor to take a look at a concern of mine, for which I am deeply thankful for. Because of COVID, it did take me about 3-4 hours to finish up, so I would suggest having a free period of time or making an appointment to make things smoother.

While this place does an amazing service by giving out free HIV and STD testing, many issues arise during my last visit. For instance, when talking to patients there is no empathy. All the workers are very harsh And the tone is unacceptable! It seems as if they hate their job. While being someone who has volunteered in health clinics before I know people come to the clinic already on the shy side trying to make sure everything is okay with them, which can be a very vulnerable time for them. Therefore when I was trying to console my friend hearing how rude the worker kicked me out due to wanting another chair to me is unacceptable! I feel clinics and especially this clinic need to be aware of the people they are caring for.

Keep in mind this is a free service. You get what you pay for, and in this case you get a front desk that will openly roll their eyes at you, techs that will hand you a swab and watch you do it incorrectly and say nothing, and not even explain what medication youre being injected with, side effects, and other information needed to attain Informed Consent. Brought partner with me after I tested positive and she was showing symptoms. Even though I tested positive and she was presenting with classic symptoms they REFUSED TO TREAT and insisted they test first and then wait for results. They failed to attain a proper medical history and thus did not perform a vaginal or rectal swab. Irresponsible and negligent so much so they performed the test haphazardly, took over a week for her results, and where erroneously negative. As a medical professional myself, health info tech and former EMT, I was appaulled at the lack of professionalism and medical training.

Occasionally youll have a positive experience, but mostly, youll be ignored and no one returns calls. Additionally, for all the importance placed on not missing doses of your meds, its frustrating to be told 9 days before your meds run out that you cant get a refill until you have updated lab work and when you call to schedule an appointment, there isnt one for 12 days. Apparently missing doses isnt that big of a deal? If youre going to set out to do something, you should try to do it well. None of the staff can possibly know the stress of potentially missing your doses of meds, but that doesnt seem to motivate them to help avoid it. Its sad and dangerous.

Caring and confidential services. They are welcoming and friendly. I hope they continue to grow. Clean facility located in the heart of Atlanta. (Update : they aren’t completing all tests due to covid, I hope they return to full service soon. Atlanta needs AHF❤️

I just drove an hour to get treatment and got here at 5:20 only for the front desk to tell me they’re closed and won’t be open again until Monday. Website says they’re open until 6 and there’s a paper on their front door saying they’re open to 6:30 on Friday, just wish my time wasn’t wasted.

1 star is Far too generous...A friend of mine went in there. The initial contact person seemed Okay at first. My friend was handed a card with a number and told to wait ....A kid was Hitting a sign near her and it kept bouncing off her - so Naturally my friend said, Be Careful!Obviously you dont want the kid to get hurt, the sign to be damaged, or fall, Nor my friend to get hurt. A moment later a staff walked up and so my friend told the staff the child kept hitting the sign near where my friend was sitting. The Rep said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The mother looked over and HOSTILELY and Aggressively said (not sure if it was at the staff or my friend), He only did it one time!!!!! in Lieu of simply Apologizing and moving on and telling her child to Be Careful. At any rate, the staff was only standing there for a moment and told my friend that the child was Not doing it at that second, As if my friend was making stuff up and Lying or something - Obviously her concerns are Perfectly Legitimate and a Responsible citizen would say something and a RESPONSIBLE LEGITIMATE PROFESSIONAL would Not sleazily use it as an opportunity to Attack and Dismiss the Victim. So Naturally, my friend went to mention the Bizarre Abusive interaction to the front desk Rep. There were two sitting there - the Black woman on the right was on the phone, and the Black male on the left was Not and he looked up at my friend when she approached, so she explained the situation and how Inappropriately the Rep handled it. He was looking at her at first & then would Oddly look away as if he wasnt paying attention, which was Obviously Very, very strange!!!!! To put it Kindly. Then at the tail end like her last sentence the Black woman looked at my friend - And Naturally my friend told her she had been talking to the guy. Then the guy looked at the woman and said, What did she say? The woman in a Hostile, Abusive, Inappropriate, Unprofessional fashion said, She said she was talking to YOU!Well duh - when the woman was on the phone she didnt make eye contact with my friend or say, 1 minute or anything in that spirit. My friend was Standing right next to her So Obviously she could see my friend in her peripheral vision. So why in the hell would the woman - knowing the conversation was Obviously with the Black male, Suddenly look up at the end....And then Angrily and Inappropriately and Snottily Impose a BIZARRE Snarky remark! What is Wrong with these ppl!!Their Basic Communication Skills and Professionalism are severely Deficient.I wonder if they drug test their employees. My God!!!!They Obviously have a Recruiting problem. To put it kindly. The Whole thing was Very strange!!!! These ppl need coaching. They have a Recruitment problem. Theyre INCOMPETENT and Not able to perform the Essential Functions of their job.My friend was Reluctant to say anything in the first place due to the Fact she was Not met with a PROFESSIONAL attitude. The Fact that the Black male kept looking away and Not even paying Proper and Appropriate attention was VERY, Very BIZARRE.I would RUN from this place!!!! EVIDENTLY NOT RUN BY PROFESSIONALS.Ive worked in doctors offices and Law offices and Never seen nor heard such Weird Crazy Bullsh!t in All my life!!!My friend promptly returned the card they handed her with the number and left! The Reps are Inappropriate, Deficient, Unprofessional, and Abusive - To put it kindly. These ppl are an Embarrassment to the organization. My friend asked the Black womans name right before she left and the woman hesitantly said, Lizzie. If you guys want to Disgrace and Embarrass your Business, hire more ppl like the ones who were working Yesterday Afternoon.Great way to Damage the credibility of your Business - boy are All the ppl working yesterday an Embarrassment to you. Creepy!!!!Ppl are afraid to report Unprofessionalism due to the Fact the Victim is Often Further Harassed and Retaliated against.

A streamlined system with patient and friendly staff, and very little wait compared to other free testing centers. Same-day HIV test results and the other tests will be sent to you in a confidential online portal! Treatment at the center taken care of if you test positive for anything. 👍

Its ALWAYS Such A Maze Trying To Get Thru To The Clinic and When You Finally Get Through No One Answers The Phone You Can Call Repeatedly and No One Seems To Pick The Phone This Can Be Very Annoying. You Would Think With All The Changes They Did To Make In The Inside Look Fancy. They Should Have Put More Focus On Making Sure Personal In The Clinic Is Always By The Phone Answering The Phone. Man The Desk At All Times Patients Are Important and Should Be A Main Priority. But No One Answering The Phones Thats Not Showing This Facility Cares

My experience here was pleasant.I called before I went. The operator told me they are usually always busy so I decided to go that same afternoon.I was there an hour and a half total, which I thought was pretty decent given the amount of people waiting. The staff was helpful and kind, you all are appreciated.

Horrible, the doctor actually just asked me what meds i was on 5 years ago and said okay that is what we will put you on. It is like the only time he has actually listened to ANYTHING or checked me physically. I found out i have cancer after going to this clinic for 2 years and it would have been discovered if this idiot had actually done a proper physical. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!!! THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS. Hell they dont even answer their phones or respond to voicemail. It is just a grant hungry succubus

Lost my job and Insurance called to see if I can get this place to set up an appt for me but the lady that answered just kept putting me on hold. Really frustrating to have to go thru things like this when you’re already sick and people want to be rude. I was never able to set up my appointment, I hung up after being on hold for 15 minutes

I was told i live too far away..never suggesting medical transporation or an alternative. When I finally complained enough I eas given a worker that if she said fer sureone more time..ugg.I have been an hiv advocate in upstate ny..rual areas..never have i seen a worker so removed from her job, with no respect for her client that never went back.
