Shamarie Sais the best thing since sliced bread, shes kind, knowledgeable and takes her time with you. Her staff is, the quantity quintessential dream team that goes above and beyond to help each and every person that comes into her office. Id like to remind people, that sometimes things happen and it would be nice to work it out where the provider or the office before leaving a scathing review. At the end of the day we are all humans who help other humans. Here in New Mexico, were specialist services are in great need, we should help our providers and not try to tear them down. Peace, blessings and lots of good vibes!

I moved to NM not long ago and have been taking Biote pellets for approximately 4 years. I needed to find a new provider here and wanted to use Dr. Shamarie Sais, as she seems to be a very competent Physician and someone I would like to use regularly for pelleting and possibly other services she provides. I was advised I would need labs and a phone consultation with Dr. Sais. I was advised of the fee schedule for pelleting and the package that comes with it. Michelle was in contact via text message regarding the phone consultation appointment and texted to confirm the day before the appointment. I confirmed, then approximately 3 hours later, she texted me stating she will need to collect a $150 consultation fee, which would be in addition to the fees I was advised of in the beginning. I informed her, I was not made aware of this fee in the beginning, to which she stated Dr. Sais sometimes will deduct the Consult fee from labs. I advised her I was able to use my medical insurance for labs, therefore, there was no lab fees. I advised Michelle, to cancel my appointment, as this was a fee I was not made aware of in the beginning. Her response was Ok. I should have told you up front. I apologize for the inconvenience. Now I need to get a copy of my labs and take them to another provider, as there was no offer to fix this issue. If you decide to use this place, make sure you get all of their fees in writing up front.

Dr. Shamarie Sais is the most thorough and compassionate doctor I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to a lot.Dr. Sais has an incredible ability to validate concerns and goes to every extent possible to address and explain every question. She squeezed me in last minute, and stayed well past what a normal appointment would go to make sure that I left without any anxiety. Not only did she address the primary concern but went beyond to find all possible root causes of every concern I have. I can’t stress enough how much I appreciate Dr. Saiss humanity and expertise. I would urge anyone in need of a thorough, skilled, and extremely kind doctor to make an appointment. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful doctor.

Accompanied my wife to this office as it was her first US doctor visit. She was nervous. Incredibly rude stenographer. Turns out you have to pay for follow-up visit just to get results. Cancelled appointment less than 24 hours on us despite the fact that YOU sign agreement to pay $50 if you cancel appointment less than 48 hours. We cancelled and then went through hell to get the results of ultrasound. Calls ignored. Hung up on. When finally spoke to Shamarie Sais she took our address and promised to mail our results right out. A receptionist followed up an hour later to also get our mailing address. Results never arrived in mail. The following week we were forced to go into the office to pick them up.Although Shamarie Sais seems an incredibly nice person and competent doctor, it’s a three ring service in her office with staff. I would recommend you go to a place with better organization and more professional.Although we’ve cancelled weeks in advance, we half-expect our insurance to get a $50 no-show bill. The office is just _that_ disorganized.

I feel so fortunate to have found the best gynecologist EVER!Dr. Sais, nurse Nancy and office manager, Lucille are the most kind, caring and genuine people you will ever meet! Its like going back in time, in a good way, when patients had relationships with their doctors and stayed with them for years because they felt cared for and known by them.Ive had a chronic condition for years that Dr. Sais successfully treated when no one else could. I repeat, she cured by chronic problem!! Dr. Sais really listens and takes her time. She is super smart, compassionate and knowledgeable. From the beautifully remolded 100 year old home in Nob Hill where the office is located (yes, an old home, not a sterile office building) to the warm robes, inviting interior and welcoming staff I cannot recommend Dr. Sais more highly.Dr. Sais is breaking the mold of our current medical model. She is a rare gem and I LIKE GOING TO THE GYNECOLOGIST!!!

Dr. Sais, and her team are amazing. They went above and beyond to help me with a lump in my breast. They squeezed me into an appointment with in 2 days of calling. Once the exams were done and a concern found again they went above and beyond. They made phone calls to drs to schedule appointments for me. These ladies knew I was stressed about the finds they took the labor of calling for appointments out of my hands. They expedited an appointment with a cancer dr within 4 days of initial call.I highly recommend Dr Sais and her team they truly care about their patients, we are not just numbers or statistics.Add to this Today when I went in to pick up the ultrasound she gave me a hug hug!

Im so fortunate to have Dr. Sais as my GYN. Ive seen many GYNs as Ive battled endometriosis, adenomyosis, fibroids and pelvic floor issues since I was a teenager. Dr.Sais was the first provider to listen, explore and identify the best care plan for me. She supported me through and through, getting me to the best surgeon quickly in my time of need. She provides safe, exceptional and personal care that I will be forever grateful for.

I called to make an appointment in April and was put on a waiting list. By the end of June I hadn’t received a call and contacted the office. I don’t know if I was forgotten or the ‘waiting list’ is completely arbitrary, but the receptionist said that I had ‘waited long enough’ and she would schedule me. She inquired what I was to be seen for and I said my annual exam/establish as a new patient. I inquired if a breast exam was also completed. She said yes and asked if I had any specific concerns. I explained that I possibly felt a small lump, but wasn’t certain and just wanted to make sure a breast exam was included. She said she would get me in sooner due to the concern. I was scheduled 3-4 weeks out. At the time of the appointment I was dealing with an acute pain issue that made sitting very painful. The office was 30 minutes away. I considered rescheduling due to the drive, but prioritized the appointment and arrived on time. While the office is nice, the receptionist desk is literally IN the waiting room. There were other patients (including two men with their wives) sitting 3-4 feet from check-in. The receptionist stated that I was to be seen for a lump in my breast and I explained that yes, I wanted a breast exam, but the appointment was for an annual exam/pap smear. There was a back and forth exchange in which she was very rude and repeatedly stated that she was ‘sorry that I misunderstood’. I am a college-educated professional – I did not misunderstand. Lack of clarity on her part and misunderstanding on mine are very different things. She told me that I could have the breast exam or annual exam, but not both and I would have to reschedule for the other. While I understand the difference in preventative and diagnostic care, she did not indicate on the phone that I would not be seen for both. She said that the concern about the lump was the ‘only reason you were scheduled so quickly,’ to which I replied that 3 months didn’t seem very quick. As she began asking some questions about my health history (I completed the forms online so I’m uncertain why any of this was being discussed with the receptionist), she was very belittling and told me that I should have never gone to my PCP for annual health exams and should not have listened to their advice on how often to be screened. Again, all of this was in front of those in the waiting area. I didn’t go to this appointment for unsolicited health advice from the receptionist and I feel it was inappropriate for her to share her opinion about my health history. While some of what she said may be true, she is not the doctor that I came to see. I was very frustrated with the interaction and aware that the lack of confidentiality (which I observed in patient phone calls and paperwork on her desk) violates ethical and patient privacy practices. After all of this, I waited for 40 minutes, standing because sitting was painful. I inquired how much longer it would be, as I had allotted an hour for the appointment and would need to leave in 20 minutes to get back across town to work. The receptionist was annoyed and said I was next but she would check to see how much longer. Dr. Sais herself ended up coming out and, rightly, had me follow her into the next room to talk away from those in the waiting room. She was apologetic, but said that they were running behind and although I would be seen next she didn’t think I would be out within 20 minutes. She was very nice and I briefly talked with her about the mix up regarding the appointment. I told her that I appreciated her letting me know then that I would not be seen in time. Although I was frustrated that I was in pain and drove 30 minutes and was not seen, I did appreciate my interaction with her and felt that it showed professionalism and care for her patients. I wish I had actually been able to see her for my appointment. My interaction with the receptionist to get my co-pay refunded was tense. I would have liked the opportunity to see Dr. Sais, but I will not be returning and have scheduled with another provider.

One of the best experiences I have ever had with an OBGYN. I had to have a procedure done and they have laughing gas which really helped me cope and stay calm during the entire procedure. The provider is also very invested in education with the patient which I appreciate because she took her time with me telling me what the procedure was and the clinical aspect of things. She answered every question I had. 100% recommend.

Extremely incompetent and rude staff. Was referred here by my doctor for ultrasound, scheduled appointment, was told I would receive callback with the out-of-pocket cost. I receive email asking me to confirm my appointment, I clicked to confirm. A week later I still havent received a callback. I call and speak to someone, they say they will callback with the cost. No callback. Next day I call again and leave a voicemail. No return call. Next day I call again, am told they dont know, they give me the phone number for Dr. Sais nurse Nancy. I have to call Nancy, Nancy doesnt know either. Nancy says she will look into it and have someone contact me. I tell her to email me the cost as Im at work. I receive a call TO MY WORK OFFICE from them returning my voicemail, i ask why i am being called when I specifically requested email, and why are they calling MY JOB? Girl apologized and said she doesnt know the cost and will email it to me. I receive an email asking me to confirm my appointment FOR THE 2ND TIME, and still no listing of the cost. I call back and speak to someone for the 5th or 6th time, explaining I have been trying to get a cost quote from them for over a week and everyone keeps giving me the run around, and that I did not give permission for them to call me at my job, nor did i give them my work number. The receptionist cut me off mid-speech and talked over me, i told her to wait as I havent finished speaking, she said I was talking over her, i informed her I WAS SPEAKING FIRST WHEN SHE INTERRUPTED ME. I told her I did not appreciate being called at work when I specifically requested email. She had the audacity to outright lie and say I left my work number on the voicemail to be called back on. I told her this was an outright lie, as I NEVER give my work number to anyone unless work related. She proceeded to read off a work number i had provided, the number she read out is the direct line number to my desk in my office, I DONT EVEN KNOW THAT NUMBER BECAUSE ALL OF OUR OFFICE PHONES RUN OFF OF ONE MAIN OFFICE NUMBER. She lied outright, the only way she could have had that number, is if she *69d my voicemail because I made the call from my individual work desk. Due to being messed around for a week and a half by this office staff, being told I have to call Dr. Sais nurse Nancy directly because the office staff have no idea of costs (this is their job to find out the info, not MY job to go calling round THEIR staff for basic info), and then being talked over and lied to by her receptionist, I told her to just cancel the appointment and id find another OBGYN office with competent staff. Dr. Sais, you came highly recommended, but you need new staff familiar with the concepts of honesty, customer service and basic understanding on how to return a clients request. This experience was awful and entirely avoidable.
