Staff here are great. Ive been seeing Dr. Mayo and I am very happy with her care. She is the only doctor who has listened to my concerns and needs. After 7 years of being told to just deal with my issues Dr. Mayo has done more to help me in the last several months than anyone has in years. She is very thoughtful and listens and responds to every question I have. She even writes down what we discuss so I can keep it and look it over. Im very grateful that Christie Domme recommended Dr. Mayo to me, she too is wonderful.

Dr Mayo is amazing! Shes the type of doctor that makes sure her patients feel heard and cared for. Highly recommend here if youre looking for great care.

Happily echoing the other reviews: this is the best experience I’ve had with any doctor ever. Dr Schwarz is awesome. She makes me feel comfortable and listened to and she explains everything well. I feel trusted to know myself, and like I’m an active participant in decisions about my care. Also: I’m a lesbian and the staff never treated me weird, nor insisted on pregnancy tests (happens more than you’d think). Thanks for everything you do!!!

Dr. Mayo is the best doctor Ive ever had, hands down. She made me feel so comfortable and validated my past traumatic healthcare experiences while showing me what real care looks like. Ive only met with her once, but shes gotten me scheduled for a hysterectomy within a month and a half of my visit. Not only did she let me explain all of my past experiences, but she took notes and made a detailed, multi-faceted plan to address my problems. As someone who works in sexual education, I dont often hear stories of good doctors--I havent had good experiences myself, even, as stated earlier. But I trust Dr. Mayo, and have already begun to recommend her to people in need of an understanding and overwhelmingly intelligent yet not pretentious doctor.I hope Dr. Mayo knows just how wonderful she is. And I hope WSNM knows just how lucky they are to have her.

I highly recommend Dr. Wurzel! He takes time to listen to your concerns and cares about you, he has a great bedside manner and is very informative and smart as well as patient! Glad to call him my Doctor.

My prenatal care given by Doctor Valeria Contreras and her amazing nurse was amazing! I always felt informed and cared for. I was always given all my options and outcomes. I felt a part of my healthcare plan and really appreciated all the time and care they Dr. Contreras team always showed.

Everyone was kind & made you feel comfortable. Dr Schwartz is fast & efficient, because no one loves these exams, & also gave me some good advice on several problems. Good visit.

My visit for a physical went very well. I was treated cordially by the front desk, the nurse and the doctor herself. The doctor (actually a nurse-practitioner) was very thorough in her examination and review of my previous health conditions. I felt I was given adequate time to ask questions.

Ive been a patient at this clinic for many years. They moved to a new location outside the Presbyterian Hospital. I was not seen since Covid so I scheduled an appointment, and Im glad I did! The staff is professional and friendly. This was my first time seeing Elizabeth Shanley and shes absolutely amazing. She is very kind and caring, I actually forgot I came in for my annual check up which is usually very uncomfortable for me. I will continue to visit this clinic for my health needs.

Providers and most medical assistants are always so nice and easy to talk. Front desk personnel are always so welcoming. The last appt I had the medical assistant was super nice and very professional. She made it easy to get what I needed done if I could remember her name I would totally recommend her to always assist with my visits or anyone elses visits. She was amazing. Thank you

Womens Specialists of NM Downtown location, is the most amazing group of care providers I have ever had the pleasure of caring for me, Christie Domme and Laurel Wolcott go above and beyond for my care, they are so professional, friendly and caring, they listen to me when I have concerns and do not treat me as if I am just a number or someone who doesnt know myself, I have the greatest respect and appreciation for them and all the team members that make this office a wonderful place to be for my personal health care. I will go no where else for my health care. Love you guys

I love this clinic. Dr Wurzel is the best! He listens attentively and is extremely knowledgeable. He is kind and understanding and will help put your worries to rest by educating you on anything youre wondering about.

My experience with WSNM was positive from the moment I scheduled the appointment all the way through to the appointment itself. Front desk staff were friendly, polite, and very efficient. And Dr. Alyssa was amazing. She listened carefully, asked detailed follow-up questions that showed she was paying attention, and was as compassionate and patient as she was thorough. One of the best experiences I’ve had with a health care provided in Albuquerque.

Downtown location was super clean and the temperature was nice and cozy, which was a huge plus for me, made the environment more welcoming. Dr. Jordan was very friendly and super informative. We got a lot of information, but she made sure we had opportunities to get clarification and ask questions. Check in staff and assistant were very friendly as well. Would highly recommend this place for care!

RUN!!! Negative stars. Awful awful. Many years ago they had a great CNP working here but after she retired it was horrible and I wish I had gone elsewhere sooner. They did a semi invasive procedure on me knowing full well that it would not show anything because of when it was preformed. They also LIED about an endometrial biopsy being a painless procedure. It was the most painful thing I ever experienced, I went into literal shock due to the pain and they said it was normal for women to go into shock from it, happens all the time. Oh ya logically if women go into shock from it, it must be painless right?!! They later refused to test my estrogen levels and were too stupid to understand the LH and FSH ratios so made me suffer years if hormone deprivation. My new doctor looked at my old labs and said I had been POST menopausal SINCE MY MID 30s!!! Not receiving proper treatment for my premature menopause has permanently damage my bones and body, and aged me horribly. These horrible people basically ruined my life. If you like being gaslit and treated sub-human they are the best at that. Again, RUN!!!

The check in process was fast, nurse that took me back was thorough and professional. They got me done early. Dr Contreras is the best doctor I have ever had in my life, by a mile. She is thorough, professional and personal at the same time. She will look up other specialists for me and I have a hard time getting my PCP to do that. I only wish she could be my PCP as well. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

I spoke to someone named evon .. I’m not sure if that is her real name or not ,i did ask her for her last name but she said “ I refuse to give my last name out.” She wasn’t mean but she wasn’t really pleasant I’m sure that women specialist is a great place but I just wish I would have had a better and more welcoming over the phone experience .

I have been going to WSNM for many years now. My most recent visit was difficult for me and my nurse and doctor were so kind, understanding, and truly cared for me on a personal level. My doctor explained my options and always does what is right for my personal healthcare. The level of care given at WSNM exceeds all expectations!

Got in very quickly. Only waited in lobby less than 5 mins. Nurses were very thorough and friendly. Dr. Carmona answered all my questions and concerns.

Dr Jordan is great, she impressed me and my sister. She is honest and did a great job with me. Keep her, she is a valuable Dr for yr business. Thank u Dr Jordan.

It was a very easy appointment for me. Quick check in, and didn’t have to wait long. Nurse Practitioner Rauch was very friendly and I felt well cared for.

I’m a loyal soul and when my insurance changed at work I was forced to find a provider that even accepted my insurance. I was willing to pay out of network fees with my long term primary but unfortunately they weren’t even able to bill my insurance so I was forced to find someone else. Boy am I glad that I did! Christie Domme FNP is amazing! I have never left disappointed or felt like my appt was a waste of time. Thank you for listening and being a genuine, caring provider. We need more like you!

Between the nurse, med, student, and Nurse practitioner, they’ve all been wonderful. I only took one star off for wait time past the appointment time and I understand we don’t have much control over that.

I am really happy with this doctor’s office. Everyone that I have encountered here is so friendly and does their job thoroughly. Dr. Jordan is smart and kind. I don’t mind driving 3 hrs for an appointment here. I am hopeful that wsnm will continue to do a good job in finding what is going on with my hormones. I trust them with my care. Definitely recommend to family and friends.

Everyone was very professional and kind and caring. My consult with Laurel was the best first consult I’ve ever had with any provider.

My visit was very pleasant from the moment I checked until I checked out. The reception employees were nice, efficient and courteous. My doctor, Dr. Rouch was congenial and listened to my concerns as well as informing me of things I need to know and do. Overall, I would highly recommend their office for ANY of your womanly needs.

I love my doctor, Ive been with her for years, however, in the early years she seemed to have more time for giving care. Now, she is so saturated with patients it is impossible to get in to see her within a reasonable timeframe. When I do get to see her its for a few minutes and I better have a list of tests, and care that I need or it will get forgotten. So, be sure to be informed and advocate for yourself

First appointment at this facility as I’m new to New Mexico. Elizabeth Shanley was very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. I immediately felt comfortable and look forward to getting established here.

Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Check-in and out is a breeze and appointments are usually accommodated in a timely manner. Christie Domme, FNP-BC and Laurel Wolcott, CNP are absolute rock stars in my book!

The care at WSNM has always been great. I really like my PCP there and feel heard and supported. The registration process is a little frustrating each time you have an appointment.

WSNM is easily the safest and most heard Ive ever felt in a medical environment. I go to the Downtown Office and see Laurel Wolcott and I definitely recommend, especially if youve got anxiety, PTSD, or are part of the LGBTQIA.

Women’s Specialists of NM was amazing during my pregnancy and postpartum. Dr. Jordan is very professional and so easy to talk to about questions or concerns I had during my pregnancy. My little guy came early and Dr. Jordan wasn’t available for my delivery, but the WSNM staff at Pres downtown was amazing and I felt so comfortable with everyone. I’d recommend this team over and over to anyone.

Everything about the Women’s Specialists of NM was fantastic. The staff at the front desk were so nice. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I was called back so quickly. Their nurse Rosa is incredible and did a fantastic job. Also, Dr. Mayo is absolutely amazing. They listened to everything I said and came up with a solution. Highly recommend them.

Doctor Carmona and team are all excellent in their job. I fully trust her opinion, and she is always helpful and very responsive if I have a question.

Dr Jain took the time to answer my questions (some for a second time!) and give me details of how we will proceed depending on results. I REALLY appreciate that she is fully present for our appointments and not rushed like most doctors. I only see her once or twice a year, but she and the clinic staff work to be welcoming and friendly. Everyone who works here actually smiles when you talk to them! Its so rare to find happy people and a friendly atmosphere. I feel very comfortable with Womens Specialists of New Mexico!

Ive been a patient of Womens Specialists for over 18 years now. Dr. Contreras delivered both of my kiddos, and her and her whole team have always been extremely responsive, caring, great at listening, and just great service all-around. Ive also seen Dr. Domme on the GP side and she also goes above and beyond and really takes the time to listen to her patients & take the time needed to trouble-shoot & care.

I was originally seeing Dr. Solis-Gilmore last year but decided to change providers through WSNM for a second opinion. I found James Wurzel through their website after reading that he specializes in minimally invasive surgery. I was interested in possibly getting a diagnostic laparoscopy to find the cause of my severe pelvic pain. Well, my appointment with him was a complete waste of time. He didnt take the time to look at any of my prior medical history and pretty much learned everything by mouth through Dr. Solis-Gilmore ( I left a separate review for her ). Very unprofessional. I had mentioned possible endometriosis could be the cause of my pain considering it runs in the family. He said it could be possible but I should just keep taking birth control to manage the symptoms. I made it very clear to him and Dr. Solis-Gilmore that I do not do well on the pill. He kept insisting to keep trying different kinds until I find one that works best. I tried to explain to him that birth control is just a bandaid and has been one for years. I wanted a diagnosis. I wanted to finally find the source of my pain. I kept mentioning endometriosis but he said even with surgery, it wouldnt cure endo. Well he does excison surgery right? Which is the golden standard for treating endo. I ask him about it and he said he does excision AND ablation. He claims excision and ablation both are effective which is not true. Ablation has an 80 percent recurrence rate and is a very destructive method of surgery. When I brought up that excision completely removes the endo he got very defensive. He even made a statement claiming hes the best endometriosis surgeon in New Mexico. He told me to stop googling information on the internet because endometriosis is unlikely due to my ultrasound results. Well the only way to get a definite endo diagnosis is via laparoscopy. I left his office very disappointed and frustrated. Fastforward to almost a year later Im able to see an endo specialist and receive a laparoscopy. Guess what? Im diagnosed with endo in my pelvis. The doctors at WSNM are very uneducated about endometriosis and do not have enough training to treat this disease properly. Please, if you are suffering from endometriosis or think you may have it, save yourself the hassle and do not go here. When a doctor is dismissive to your pain and disability, to your limitations, to your request for help, most likely they do not know what to do and are not able to say that. It’s a red flag. Move on.

Quality care. The providers are wonderful. They explain everything and listen to you, which makes your visit and concerns sincere.

Haven’t been here in a while and there has been a major change in everything I love it!!! Everyone is kind knowledgeable and welcoming the doctors are super gentle!

During my first pregnancy, this place was wonderful. this second time around, its awful. i understand being short handed but ive been waiting weeks for even a call back. i was given a myriad test at 10 weeks and when i took it to get my blood drawn, i was told by the phlebotomist that my midwife didnt fill the paper out correctly and id have to get another form. i am now at 15 weeks, ive left several messages and havent heard back a single thing! im constantly sent to a line to leave a message anytime i call. will most likely be switching to a more responsive care provider.

I’ve been with Women’s Specialists since I was 19 (almost 20 years). Dr Contreras is my OB/GYN and I LOVE her. But when I can’t get in with her I always request Laurel (nurse practitioner). I cannot say enough good things about her. She is a top notch provider; compassionate, knowledgeable, LISTENS and addresses concerns/issues, outstanding bedside manner. I was in for an IUD replacement (if you have had an IUD at any point, you’re familiar with how painful this procedure can be). Laurel did an amazing job with the removal of the old device and placement of a new one. It still hurt like heck, but her compassion and understanding made a very uncomfortable procedure a bit better. Amazing care, as always.

Fast, friendly and efficient. The wait before getting into the room was longer than last time. Check in was simple. I liked that they let me sit down and asked me some questions then took my blood pressure. I found out the automatic blood pressure cuffs have a tendency to run high. (As does my BP at my primary dr.s) Good to know. Dr Carmona is very professional, informative and courteous. Her assistant was friendly and informative.

I love this place! Hoelter was my doctor for 5 years, and although shes moved, I will always recommend this clinic! All the doctors, nurses, and other staff have always been nice, and helpful! When I was pregnant with my children, I knew I could always rely on them to keep us safe, and healthy! If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would!

I always receive the best care at WSNM and I was thrilled my PCP joined the practice. The staff is professional, welcoming, helpful and friendly. Things usually move beautifully and quickly--I rarely have to wait long for anything. Their pre-check-in process is easy and can be done remotely/online, which I think speeds up everything for all patients once you get there. Its easy to make appointments. Its a nice, clean, updated space and all rooms Ive been in are comfortable.

Every experience Ive had with this practice had been phenomenal. From dealing with loss, to helping through healthy pregnancies, routine care, emergencies, and everything in between. The staff is quick to respond, very attentive, and great on getting you in when you need it.

The employees there are really great! I was a day early on my appt but since I was there they worked me in for a nurse visit and was very quick and they didnt seem to mind doing that for me. I love getting my care there the nurses I have had have always been really great! And thank you to the front desk for helping me with getting me seen!

This is really an outstanding service. I have never been so pleased with gyn services in my life. My doctor listened closely to me and made suggestions that really helped improve my life. The staff are always friendly and helpful. And the office space itself is quite lovely.

Every time I go into the clinic, I get called in right away. The staff is really nice and helpful, especially my OB Dr. Jordan. I started out seeing Dr. Pardo-Friedman for my high risk pregnancy but he left and I was transferred to Dr. Jordan. She was very helpful and really listened to all my concerns. I’ve just delivered a little under 2weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier :)

Dr Shanley is great. Friendly, easy to talk to, non-judgmental.Ive had a lot of bad gynos in the past so I was anxious going into the appointment. She was great. My experience with paps were painful, I hardly noticed when she was doing mine. She also let me know they had a primary care physician there. I had been having issues establishing care since moving to NM so I was able to get that set up.All in all a really positive experience and its a relief knowing I now have a care provider Im comfortable with.

I worked with Dr Wurzel to get a hysterectomy for chronic pain. He was very kind and explained the whole process thoroughly. The nurses and staff were fantastic as well! I was astonished by how smoothly everything went. 10/10 would recommend!

I recently had a full hysterectomy with Dr Wurzel. He did a fantastic job and I highly recommend him. Hes an extremely good surgeon and takes him time to explain everything to you. I also am going to try the new PCP that joined. I love that two of my doctors will be under the same roof.

Fantastic tech and doctors. I have a current pair of glasses that I bought here before. Refused to fix the frame for me even though they were purchased here, most likely to sale me new pair. Still bought 1 for 1 of my prescriptions out of necessity but I won’t be going back.

The receptionist that checked me in was very rude. I asked her to get the office manager and she didn’t. She was upset with me after I gave her my insurance card and I was telling her I was on Medicaid and she kept yelling at me and asking me if I had Blue Cross Blue Shield and I kept telling her no it’s Medicaid. She was the receptionist sitting to the left. Just so rude and unprofessional I asked her to go get the manager. She told me she didn’t know where the manager was and she never bring the manager for me to talk to management never came and talk to me check. It was horrible, but the doctor was very nice and she listened to my concerns

The staff is wonderful. Dr. Pardo-Friedman is absolutely amazing. His nurse is great. This was a wonderful experience. Thank you all.2024 visit the NP that I saw was wonderful.

I had a little problem and needed to see a doctor on short notice. The clinic was able to fit me in without much delay. I met with a different doctor than my regular one, but it wasnt a problem at all. If all the doctors at this clinic are as good as the two Ive seen, then I cant see why anyone would go elsewhere. Also, its really nice that they have multiple locations. There is one close by no matter where you live in ABQ.

My experiences here are always 10/10. Friendly staff and nurses! My doctor is amazing. Everyone is friendly and they treat you with respect, not like you’re just another patient of the day. Grateful for having found this team 🙌🏽

Waited over a month to get in, took off work to attend the appointment and the day of, I ran into some traffic coming from work. I called ahead to tell them I’d be a few minutes late, but that I had already completed the check-in online and they said that was fine. When I arrived, there were 3 people ahead me checking in. By the time I got to the front, they said I was outside the 15 min window and would have to reschedule me for a few months away. My advice is to go somewhere else where they actually care about seeing their patients.

I have had good experiences at WSNM for 6+ years and the providers I’ve seen have given thorough, trauma-informed care with good communication and connection. Obviously every provider is different, but based on my own experience I would recommend it, especially for others with a history of physical/sexual trauma. The environment feels safe and supportive, I can ask lots of questions, and I don’t feel as rushed or disregarded as I often do in other medical spaces.

My visit at Women’s Specialists was great. Everyone is always so welcoming and friendly. From beginning to end it’s always a smooth process. I love Dr. Shanley and her staff they are the best.

Dr. Schwarz was very informative and performed my surgery well. She was always timely in answering my questions and gave me many options and alternatives. She understood my health needs for not taking any estrogen hormone therapy but still explained to me how an estrogen patch may be helpful. Overall, my surgery went smoothly, and I hardly had any pain except for the first two days. I had only some soreness in the stomach area for about 4-5 weeks which was intermittent. Dr. Schwarz is an excellent doctor, and I was lucky to get her by chance. I highly recommend her.

Ive been coming here for years and I adore the staff. Dr. Hoelter was with us through the whole pregnancy and birth of our bundle of joy, though I believe she has left.. Although, I did get the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Shanley who was wonderful! The facility is clean and the staff are patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend going here.

Dr. Mario was incredibly thorough and always checking to make sure I felt comfortable and at ease. This was my first appointment dealing with womens health and despite it being with a man, I never felt uncomfortable or like I was at a disadvantage. He made it a point to explain everything in great detail and very open to questions. Overall a very welcoming experience

I first learned about this place a couple of months ago when I was referred to them. I have to say I have never had better care anywhere else until I came here. I see Dr. Schwarz who is very thorough, and listened to every concern I had. I just had surgery a couple of days ago and one thing about this doctor is she does not beat around the bush. She is honest and very considerate and that’s what I appreciate the most. I would definitely recommend this doctor and this facility to anybody.

I have only been here a handful of times thus far, but my experience there has been phenomenal. Dr. Chouinard is the best doctor I have ever had. She is the only doctor who has ever been entirely honest with me about my options. It is very clear that she cares about her patients, and her bedside manner is incredibly thoughtful. I had a procedure done today that I was extremely anxious about, and she allowed us to go at my pace and was never pushy about trying to get things done. The facility is very clean and those at the front desk are always communicative and kind.

Love Dr Schwartz! She has taken care of me for almost 10 years. Very caring and professional. Office staff is very nice and helpful. Scheduling is great I have never had to wait more than a few minutes to see the doctor.

Dr. Jordan is awesome. I went in for a nexplanon implant update and routine pap. Dr. Jordan was so accommodating and answered all of my questions with detail and even shared some resources with me to reference later. I felt so comfortable and was glad to be around someone that didnt make me feel bad about myself or stupid. The check-in process was really smooth everyone was very nice. The people I talk to to make an appointment were very helpful and fast. Would highly recommend.

I recommended this office to my younger sister and will be sending a thank you card (which I have never yet done for a provider), because that’s how much I was impacted by their level of care and service. From scheduling the appointment, arrival and reception, the exam, to final exit I felt like I was being personally cared for. The scheduler checked multiple office locations for a date and time that worked for my schedule, the receptionist was patient and welcoming even though I forgot my insurance card and took a bit to find my information. My nurse called me back promply and made me feel at ease answering some very personal questions and made me laugh more than once even though I was very anxious about the visit. But the real star, if I had to list just one, is Heather Veitch, CNM. Heather made me feel safe, supported, heard, and understood during my experience. Heather also took the time to research, explain, and thoroughly answer each of my questions without making me feel in any way like a burden, which in my healthcare experience, is not often the case. Heather is rare and exceptional. She is an excellent provider who I feel fortunate to have crossed paths with as corny as it sounds! Caring providers, convenient (for me) location. Not happy with wait times during appointments. I show up at the appointed time, but I dont actually see my provider for at least 40-50 minutes past my appointment time. To put it nicely, thats inconvenient and annoying. Including commute, I have to block out 2-2.5 hours for a single visit! Luckily, I only have to do this once a year, but still. If youre going to charge me as a for-profit business, then at least pretend to value my time as a consumer.

I’m consistently blown away by the level of care and attention I’ve received here from staff, nurses, and my doctor. Dr. Contreras is knowledgeable and current on medical trends and literature. She’s skilled at what she does. But more important than all that, she makes time for patients to hear concerns and validate their experiences. Rare qualities in our fast paced world!

I have been going to womens specialists since before my son was born. I bounced around to different providers with in the practice for a long time. I have been happy with my experiences and planned on continuing to use Womens specialists providers. Last year I came upon a situation where I had a continual unresolved issue. The symptoms were not very bad, but I knew something was wrong, and no one could isolate the issue. I went to two outside practices because I was out of town...and one provider from womens specialists. The womens specialists provider was very thorough and set a clear plan with follow up. But Everyone kept telling me everything was fine. I was so frustrated. Thats when I came upon Laurel Wilcott at Womens Specialists. Shes hands down the best. She is relatable, invested, spectacularly competent, thorough, and powerful. I cant even fully express my gratitude for coming under her care. She has my loyalty.

The staff here is phenomenal. All the nurses, doctors, techs, surgeons, etc. have great bedside manner. Always kind, empathetic, compassionate, knowledgeable and active listeners. They have several offices around town and can almost always get you in same/next day if its a more acute issue. Also, they actually answer their phones when you call! I moved here from Southwest Womens Health and it was the best choice ever!

The time it took to fill out the forms was easy and the staff so helpful and having compassion for the stress of getting situated is phenomenal! They treat you like a person not a number and very patient and kind! Doctor took the time to listen to all my concerns and answered each one of them with patience, not rushed at all, very personable. Ive been part of Womens Specialist for 20+ years and have always had good service and felt like they cared about my health. My doctor (who I had since I was 18) retired a few years ago and I have seen two new doctors to the practice and both were caring and knowledgeable. I didnt feel rushed through my appointment, but felt that both reviewed my information and were genuinely concerned about my well being. Dr. Katherine Schwarz was who I saw this year and she felt very knowledgeable and answered my questions and gave me encouragement in several areas. Overall, its always a great experience, from the scheduling to intake to nurses and doctors.

This place was overall nice, clean, seems safe, staff and receptionists. I know, some of you are thinking if this place is good then why does it have three stars?. To back things up, I got a certain virus back in 2020 and in 2021, I developed pelvic pain and abnormal periods. My previous Dr referred me here to go see a gyno of Dr. Shwarz. She seemed alright of listening and checked my overall pelvic. She prescribed me bc for suspicious endometriosis and referred me to a Pelvic Floor Therapist. Went to the PFT for four and a half months, and unfortunately there wasnt much improvement so I went back to her. She just looked at me and said that is all she can do and just to keep taking the bc. (P.S. This part will be TMI so be warned🛑) So I dealt with the pelvic pain for seven months later and I was referred to a different gyno and that one found not one, not two but three issues that is causing my pelvic pain besides the hypertension pelvic floor and suspicious of endometriosis. They are: IC, a bunch of skin thats on the cl¡toris that does cause pain, and a hormonal and nerve damage of Vestibulodynia. Thats probably a few reasons why I didnt exceed at PFT. If you are a normal healthy person thats wants a regular gyno check up, pap smear, pregnancy testing and check ups, or check for any sexual diseases this would be for you. However, if you have any chronic pain, illness or have any pelvic issues then probably go somewhere else to be thoroughly checked.

I had a life-threatening condition that my Santa Fe female gynecologist was not giving me the most up-to-date treatments for, and thus my health had been declining for two years. Laurel Bonham-Wolcott gave me the state-of-the-art treatment, which was the SAME PRICE as the one my Santa Fe gyn had been prescribing me with much poorer outcomes. Laurel was kind, took her time answering my questions and addressing all my concerns in a supportive manner, and her staff is just like her: kind, supportive, and professionally competent. I cannot recommend Womens Specialists enough because they reversed my condition!

I would highly recommend WSNM. My primary care provider (Christi Domme) is a highly skilled clinician, as well as a great listener. She truly cares about the health and well-being of her patients.

Front desk ladies are always nice. Dr.Jain is professional and kind. She addressed my concerns, gave me options and explained what was going on in a simple way and didn’t make me feel like my concerns didn’t matter. Definitely would recommend.

Glad that I have changed my Ob Gyn from Presbyterian to this establishment. Honestly just having a women Ob Gyn is a blessing onto to itself but both the doctors that I have had was both amazing and professional. The sonographer ruined my sisters surprise gender reveal and let it slip that she was having a boy. She said “ your baby moved his hands”. The sonographer retired so hopefully this doesn’t happen to anyone else.Other than that, everything else has been great with them.

Wow! Womens Specialists were amazing! The scheduler helped me expedite the referral process from another office and when that process was complete, found me a same-day appointment. Similarly, the check-in clerk could not have been nicer! Having had some bad experiences in the past, I am a reluctant patient; however, Dr. Carmona and her assistant Samantha provided me excellent and compassionate care.

My first visit with Erin Martinez was great, she was nice and explained everything thoroughly. The nurse I forgot her name with red hair was fantastic and nice! The appointment a week after that with Darcy Babb wasn’t the best, nor a welcoming feeling. She was in a rush to go eat lunch and to go to FedEx or UPS to drop something off. Otherwise that the receptionists are nice and the facility is clean.

I followed my NP to this practice and it is more conveniently located, organized and friendly than my prior location. I’m happy to be going to a practice focused on women’s health. My NP is the absolute best medical provider I’ve ever seen.

I recently had my first appointment at this practice and was very impressed. All of the staff I encountered were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I initially went into my appointment with one thing on my agenda, but ended up taking care of multiple things when I got there, which the staff made easy and efficient. My appointment was made very pleasant from the very beginning. I was checked in at the front with a temp and heart rate check and then I had to provide my new insurance info to a very personable gentleman! The wait in the car was very minimal to be called in. I was met at the door by the assistant and taken to my room and answered all the questions and then Dr. Contreras did her exam. Dr. Contreras is the most soft spoken, gentle and kind person that really puts you at ease for this necessary required exam for women! I highly recommend her!

Dr. WOLCOTT is literally the BEST DOCTOR I could have asked for. Absolutely the best care I have received in so long and she was so kind and understanding. I am so blessed to have gotten her. Thank you for the wonderful care. Reception was also amazing.

Explained everything she was going to do and it was absolutely such a great experience at this clinic. The front desk staff was very friendly and nice. Check in was great and fast. Preregistration online was a breeze and I enjoyed being able to fill out all forms online. Amazing clinic and staff!!

The medical and nonmedical staff members were friendly, competent, and efficient. It was my first visit with Dr. James Wurzel. He thoroughly assessed my past medical history and current conditions, providing me good explanations. He raised related issues that I had not thought of discussing but was glad he did. He made what I considered good recommendations. I was pleased that he spent more time with me than I had anticipated and never made me feel rushed.

I’ve had a great experience since coming to the Women’s Specialist of New Mexico! I started seeing them once I was expecting my first kiddo and they made the experience great even in the midst of Covid. I see Danielle Hoelter and she is so down to earth and lovely- she always puts my mind at ease and is very easy to approach with any and all questions and concerns. Booking appointments is always a breeze and they are great at sending reminders and making life easier on you. My delivery also went smoothly and was a very positive experience with the doctors from women’s specialist and Presbyterian hospital. I have already recommended a few women to them but will gladly continue to do so!

Everyone is kind and extremely knowledgeable. I never feel comfortable at the doctors and dread every visit. However that is not the case here. Dr. Schwarz has always taken care of me and I am truly grateful for her service. I can be quite awkward when Im uncomfortable and she never looks at me like Im an goofball, she remains professional and if anything compassionate. I was an emergency visit and Dr Pardo attended me. In the 73 yrs of my life Ive never been attended by a physician that was so caring about my problems. I asked him if hed be my doctor when Dr Carmona retired?Im sorry to say but hell be leaving.Hes an excellent doctor and Ill hope to see him again.

He is very thorough, has excellent bedside manners and is a great human being. His response time is quick and you will love his MA and his Nurse. They are a great time to work with. So... I absolutely loved this place, I’ve been to numerous doctors in Santa Fe and none of them could figure out what was going on with me, the nurse practitioner saw me and gave me a full exam and helped me almost immediately. I would absolutely recommend them! Dr.Swartz is an amazing doctor and I am so thankful for her! She’s really helped me out by getting me a diagnosis for endometriosis and also helping with the removal of my pain! I can’t thank this place enough for all that they’ve done for me

This womens hospital had a very easy process to check in and to make a appointment. All the staff was helpful and informative. The doctors and nurses took great care of me were polite and answered all my medical question. They gave me my test results the same day and sent my medication to the pharmacy immediately so i can start taking it and heal faster. Would definitely recommend this clinic to woman in need.

Wouldve been great if I can ever get scene, I was one minute past the grace period and had to reschedule when last time I had an appointment I had to wait over an hour! The receptionist never checked me in. The Drs are great however my appointment was important considering this is my 2nd pregnancy and my 1st ended up in a miscarriage about 4 months ago Im beginning to loose trust in womens specialist it seems like there is nothing ever good coming to these appointments Id like to continue my care here if I can actually even get in or a call back about my results.

We Just moved to Albuquerque and I was unsure where to seek care. When I called to set up my appointment they were prompt, courteous and helpful. My first experience in office was excellent. First of all- HIGHLY recommend Elizabeth Shanley. Such a lovely woman and gynecologist, so understanding, non-judgemental and efficient. One of the best paps Ive ever had and thats saying alot because theyre awful. WSNM itself is great-this was my first visit (and honestly my first visit in a long while to the gyn because UGH) and I was super on edge due to previous experiences with gynecologists. When I first entered the clinic I knew immediately this would be a different kind of experience- its such a gorgeous space with natural lighting and paintings and music and it just feels way more welcoming than your average gyns office. Check in was a breeze, and although there was a bit of a wait, when I was finally seen everything went pretty smoothly. Again Elizabeth made the experience a solid 8 (listen its still the gyns office, Im not gonna give a pap a 10) but in terms of bedside manner and overall comfort, she was great. Recommend Shanley and WSNM for sure

I’ve been going for annual check ups and birth control for years with WSNM. I remember being nervous for my first appointment but all of the staff was nice and my doctor made me feel comfortable and safe. Even during the height of the pandemic they made sure safety was the number one priority; in person procedures, and telehealth appointments. Thank you.

I love this facility! I went here during my pregnancy and I had such a great experience. This was my first pregnancy, so I had so many questions and worries, but they answered each question and answered them in detail. They are able to do ultrasounds there as well as bloodwork so it takes the stress of having to go to other facilities to get that done. The staff was very friendly and I never had an issue getting in to see a provider or waiting to long, just make sure you get there at least 15 minutes before your appointment, simple as that and you wont have issues. I was able to schedule my ultrasounds before actual appointment so I could get them both done right away. The staff is knowledgeable and when it came to billing they answered all my questions and I never received a surprise bill. They also have facilities throughout the area, and for one instance I need to be seen same day and my usual midwife was booked so they scheduled me in at the Westside office that morning and it was just as friendly and easy.

Doctors are Great!! Receptionists are kind of rude, aren’t very helpful and are quick to transfer calls to a voicemail that no one ever checks or returns the calls. They don’t really answer my questions. One of the ladies in the front wrote down my name and number and was supposed to call me back with an appointment time. But I never got a call back. I decided to call since I hadn’t heard anything for a few days and to see if I was even scheduled. I wasn’t scheduled, so now I have to wait another week to be seen! (I’m supposed to be seen weekly as I am a high risk pregnancy, toward the end of my 9th month). I like my doctor, she’s great! I just wish the receptionists had better communication with them and better customer service.

So far, so good. I am finally getting somewhere with the pain Ive had for years. I am optimistic that I will get the correct help at this location.

Except for the wait which was unforeseen and greatly apologized for it was a very good experience.

This was my 2nd time here, but my first time seeing Dr. Schwartz. I was a little nervous about the wait time because there were 5 ladies waiting in line when I arrived for my appointment. It was needless. I waited maybe 2 minutes after checking in to be called. The sweet lady who took me back was soooo wonderful and friendly (I’m so sorry, I didn’t get her name). She said she was just helping out, but she was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Schwartz was amazing as well! So thorough and you can tell she paid attention and took her time to ask more questions when I voiced some concerns. I’ve never felt so good about my health care and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone! I wish my primary care doctor gave the same time and attention as Dr. Schwartz and her staff. I’ll never go anywhere else!!

Dr. Mario Pardo-Friedman was the BEST. He made us feel so comfortable. He took his time. He was patient and he had a great bed side manner. I will recommend him to everyone looking for a great doctor. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

So far, so good. I had my first visit there with Dr. Pardo-Friedman yesterday. I was grateful to be able to get an appointment in a very timely manner. I felt listened to and had all my questions answered in detail. My experience with the entire staff was very professional and conscientious.

Dr. Schwartz and her staff are amazing! She went above and beyond for me as a new patient. I felt cared for and listened to during my visit.

I’ve been calling for 3 weeks and the holds are so long I have to hang up because I work 8-5 as well. I called to get an RX refill last Thursday and left 2 messages and nobody has returned my calls. Whenever I do get someone to talk to they always transfer me w/o even telling me they’re going to or have an attitude. I really like my Doctor here but I need my RX refilled ASAP & I need to be able to get ahold of someone.*Update* After sending an email to the response I got in the review, I STILL never got my prescription filled and nobody ever called me back. They tried to say I never called but I had left 2 messages and after that I told them that in the email, nobody responded. 👎🏼

This is a great practice I really like the doctors here, The only reason for the 3 stars is because I over heard the girls up at the front making fun of one of the patients. I really find that rude and unprofessional. Other then that all the staff here has been really helpful.

This was first time to meet Krissy Domme and she was just great. Very personable, listened to my questions, my history and followed on all that I needed. Was quite happy with my new PA.

The staff including the doctors assistant and my gynecologist make me feel comfortable and answer all my questions without making me feel like Im bothering them. Thank you! I truly appreciate the professionalism there

I have been going to Womens Specialists of New Mexico for years and am so pleased with the care Ive received. Dr. Mario Pardo-Friedman has a vested interest in my health and I feel like I can really rely on him. Highly recommend.

This whole organizstion is very clean, organized, personable and easy to work with. My doctor, Elizabeth Shanley, is by far the BEST doctor I have ever had. She creates a comfortable environment and makes you feel heard and genuinely cared for. Both she and the organization goes above and beyond in friendliness, bedside manner, communication, and professionalism.

Women’s Specialists of NM are always professional and courteous. I love that they acknowledge my time is valuable and work to make appointments efficient.

I see Heather Veitch at Womens Specialist and she is absolutely amazing! She listens to me and I feel like she truly cares about my well being! She has given me so many resources to help me during my pregnancy and I couldn’t ask for a better provider!!

My provider, Nancy Miller, is very professional and explains things in detail. She meets with her clients first and then for an annual exam will have the client get into a gown for the exam. This is taking time to allow questions and answers about your medical exam or condition fully clothed which is a more comfortable environment. I would highly recommend her and the facility.

They are awesome! Dr Valeria Contreras Crowley is just like going to see your Family! She is very caring! She makes your visit pleasant! She has been my Dr for several years!
