I had high hopes when choosing Linda as my midwife due to a friends recommendation and the convenience of delivering at Newton-Wellesley, a great hospital.During our first and only in-person appointment, Linda was cold, distant, and even skeptical of my husband, who was genuinely trying to participate by asking questions. This initial interaction was disappointing.A few days later, Linda called me at 7:30 am with concerning test results. She provided a lot of information and next steps, which I wasnt ready to process so early in the morning.Although a perinatologist reached out to us, Linda disappeared from the process. We sent Linda a message seeking clarity, but she did not respond.Sadly, we experienced a miscarriage, and Linda did not reach out at all during this difficult time. This was the coldest and most unprofessional health experience I have ever had. I hope this review raises awareness and encourages improvements in patient care and communication.

If I could give that location a zero star I would. I was in pain and my usual location didnt have any opening that day. I went to that location with a really bad shoulder pain. A nurse particionner saw me, didnt look at or touch my shoulder, nothing. In less than 5 minutes she told me to take pain killers and was done. The pain got worse so I went to my usual location.Fast forward now, I have been going to physical therapy for months and I may need surgery. The PCP I had for years left the practice so now I am considering leaving Atrius altogether. I wish Atrius put the same energy in listening to their patients as they do calling them to collect payment.I am starting to think that their collection department is somehow connected to Atrius. The service is getting worse and they are overbilling people now. Why have private insurance when they bill you almost what youre paying the insurance monthly?

I started seeing one the of the doctors here and didnt like them. They were in their first year on the job and didnt seem to know what they were talking about or care about my problems. I then requested a new doctor that would be located in Quincy which is also much closer to me.I was told that this is not possible and that I must stick with the one in Wellesley. One of the reasons I was interested in Atrius was its many locations and providers. Now I have to deal with the long wait to be seen at a new organization. Save yourself the trouble and just stay away.

The clinic is generally well established, organized and equipped. The staff is professional and competent. The problem is the lack of transparency, and exorbitant billing. My PCP referred me to dermatology, to remove two moles that had been growing and disturbing. The procedure was quick and simple. I thought it would be covered by insurance, or maybe I would have to pay a couple hundred bucks. They billed around $1,200 for the removal, plus around $600 for biopsy (although my PCP knew those were benign). Our deductible is high so I had to pay a lot out of pocket. I would not have done the procedure had I known in advance. I could have done that for much less at a small private clinic elsewhere.Patients beware, do some research before making appointments.

The worst place to go to. I had a 10am appt today (April 29th 2024) to see Dr Teresa A Borkowsi she’s a dermatologist. I pre-checked myself using my cellphone, and when I got there I also checked in with the front desk. 10:30a I noticed people who got there after me were being called in. I went back to the front desk and inquire if I was indeed checked in, she said “yes, Dr Theresa A. Borkowsi is seeing patients that came in before you” went back and sat down. Around 10:45a someone came and said that there was a mixed up with the front desk and that Dr Borkowsi didn’t know that I was here and decided to see other patients, she also asked me if I didn’t mind seeing another doctor. At this point, I had to say okay, because I had already wasted more than an hour waiting. I ended up seeing a PA when I should have seen a dermatologist. This was an absolute waste of my time because I have been with Harvard Vanguard for more than 15 years, and the treatment I received today was terrible. If I had read these reviews prior to my appt I would have asked for a different location.

This a mid sized Harvard Vanguard location. They have a pharmacy and a lab and radiology, as well as a small optical specialty.Road access is nice as this is near Rt. 128 off RT. 9. Although getting there from the East bound rt9 is a little tricky because the road to get there looks one way although it is 2 way. Use Google maps. There is ample HP parking there, both by the building, in front of the building and behind the building in a small parking garage. Note that the later section where the HP spots are in the parking garage can get pretty wet and sometimes floods 9n a heavy rain. Both the front and rear doors have power assisted doors.

We are mostly happy with the medical staff but the first floor front desk has some serious attitude problems. One of the workers refused to check us in unless we updated our insurance info on file. She didnt let us do this online, after the appointment or after billing. She didnt even bother keying it in just rudely told us to use the public phone its been 15 minutes Im on the line and no one is answering. Go somewhere else, anywhere if you are a new patient. Not worth the hassle.

Until recently I had been with this practice, seeing the same primary care physician (PCP), for literally half a century. I watched it spiral into decline during covid and morph into, basically, a place that exists only to bill your insurance. My PCP retired several years ago and I was assigned a new one. I have yet to meet him. I only got to see nurses and assistants. When I sent my PCP a message, the other day, a secretary replied. My wife needed to see a specialist and the first available appointment was five months in the future. It became difficult--nearly impossible--to renew the prescription for a drug I have long taken. Ive now found another health care provider and I suggest that you do also.

I have been coming to my doctor here for almost 20yrs but based on the service I received I will never be back. First my physical which I scheduled SIXTEEN MONTHS IN ADVANCE was canceled at 4pm the day before. I was told my doctor need a “emergency procedure” and would be out for only that day and they would not do anything to accommodate me and my only options were to wait another 8 months, see a nurse practitioner or put on a wait list. I agree to see an NP since I had already gone in the day before to do my blood work. However I was on vacation the next week but the system would send me multiple emails a day trying to change my appointment that I made for 10am (I am 100% positive that was the time as I was asked to change and viewed it many times). I showed up at 9:50 on the day of my appointment and checked in after 30min of waiting I asked the front desk what the delay was and I was told my appointment was at 10:50 so I waited for over an hour for no reason. The fact the desk workers are so disconnected from caring about their jobs that they didn’t mention it was odd I was there a full hour early is insane. I understand the medical system is overloaded these days but this was frankly the worst medical experience I have ever had and I waited for 2hrs in the emergency room at 3am to get stitches as I was bleeding from my forehead one time.

The experience I have had at this facility with Dr. Caronna has been amazing. She is extremely thorough. I have been so impressed with her knowledge, and consistent effort to assure thorough quality care. I don’t often feel that many doctors take their time anymore for quality, thorough care due to a pressed and over tapped insurance system that takes away their ability to maintain compassion and excellent care to their patients. However, Dr. Caronna exceeded expectations and restored my faith. The facility has been clean anytime I have come to the Wellesley location. Her paperwork is complete, and prompt at all times. Thank you so much Dr. Caronna for your dedication and hard work! Your efforts have not gone unnoticed. Your front desk staff have also been amazing to interact with as well. Thank you all for your great work!

Extremely rude lady on the phone with the GYN department. For the record, one was extremely nice, but after being transferred around for paperwork I landed back on the rude lady to schedule my appointment. When asking for a specific provider she refused, telling me i wouldn;t be a good fit. Then when trying to ask about the other providers and their clinical interests told me everyones the same. Then by rushing me so much and getting me to reluctantly agree to see a different provider whom i never had a chance to research before, when i couldnt take the first suggested appointment time she went on to say well I need to fill that slot and zero care about my schedule. After this train wreck I just wanted to get off the phone to start looking for someone else, so I accepted the first appointment she offered knowing id just cancel the next day and got off. Now I will be cancelling and going elsewhere. First impressions are important and this place failed. This review does not reflect everyone in this building, since I did speak to two other ladies who were extremely patient and kind, but after being treated like such a number and with such disrespect I dont see how I could ever come here.

I went back and gave them more blood and never even got the results!! And gave me an attitude when I called back to ask about it!!! This place is a disgrace and should not be in buissiness!!

If you want to spend days/weeks trying to find a real human being to talk to, come here. They are convenient but problems outweigh the benefits by far. Ive been coming to this office for 10 years and its getting worse every year (even before Covid-19). The place has become so big that its become a Walmart. You know, impersonal and hundreds of people roaming around and nobody really knows what they are doing except specific task.So first impression is try to find a direct number to an office and you cant. So you call their line and you have to sit through finding the right department. (Why cant they just put it on their website or put it on a card???). And every time you are bounced, you have to listen to the same 30 seconds of In case of emergency.... They overbook their clients so much that they NEVER show up on appointments on time. Even with remote sessions, they are 30 minutes late and you just sit there wondering if the meeting is happening as they are using some home grown app (probably because they are always late). Numerous cancellations due to Scheduling issues. Probably bouncing me off for someone that got bounced off earlier and now needs it badly, and now they have to bounce someone else off. Even though appointments are booked weeks in advance, they wait til the last moment to deal with insurance and cancel on you because they cant resolve it in time. Doctors never pick the phone up. Nurses wont either until you are irate and they send in a new person who has to talk to someone. You dont know who you are talking to as there are so many people. Its so bad that even with all my medical records there, Im just going to leave them as they are just horrible.Update:Saw the response from the owner so I called the number and its going to the voicemail. This is a total joke.

All our appointments start late by atleast 30 mins - 1hr in the ob department. No point booking appointments ahead of time. They apologize for the delay every time. The apologies are useless if you dont really mean it and use that as a blanket sentence with everyone everytime. The appointment starts late and they come rush with everything often not answering our questions / sending interns to attend the patients.Highly recommend finding other practices.

Extremely disappointed with my experience. I Tried to call to find out when I can get a COVID vaccine because I have diabetes and am a resteraunt worker and the secretary basically told me to F— off and go read the CDC website. I called because I had a specific question based on the CDC website and wasn’t sure who to call to ask; I thought my doctor’s office would be a reasonable start. As soon as I brought up a covid vaccine, before I could discuss my commorbidities and job, she cut me off and told me she can’t help me. Phase two starts in three days and I just want some information so I know what to do if and when a vaccine becomes available for me. These are scary times and I just wanted some help navigating them. I’ve been thinking about changing practices and now seems like a good time to finally go through with it.

I went to do a routine physical exam, but the physician added some other exams and didnt tell me thats not included in the routine checkup and needs extra charge until I got the bill. I felt so cheated and the staff was really unprofessional. When I discussed with them about this issue, the representative at their finical department had a bad attitude and immediately denied their responsibility. I am thinking about changing to another hospital, and would not recommend this one to anyone.

Things seems to have been going downhill at this location for years , and matters don’t seem to be improving . They appear to have capacity issues and bounced medical messages to scheduling staff inappropriately. I’m not sure if this is atrius (just bought out by the for-profit optum network) or this location specifically , but I have to recommend you stay away. I won’t be seeking care here any longer .
