Sarah Barber, MD - Obstetrics and Gynecology

I found Dr. Barber when I found out I was pregnant with my first baby. I was looking for a doctor that would see me early as I was concerned with some symptoms and she scheduled me asap when other doctors told me they would not see me until 6 weeks. From start to finish my experience with dr Barber has been top of the line. Her office staff is always friendly, welcoming and accommodating, her phlebotomist is an absolute angel, and Dr Barber is the absolute best. I always looked forward to my appointments, as the experience was always so positive. dr Barber was informative, helpful, understanding and so professional. I cannot recommend her enough.

The staff was very welcoming the nurse who did my vitals made my day so much better. Dr. Barber was so sweet very good bedside manner. I felt so anxious going into the appointment after having a bad appointment. She was very patient and kind I left the office feeling so good what she had suggested for me regarding my physical wellness.

Dr. Barber is very professional, knowledgeable and kind and was very attentive. Dr Barber made sure to address all of my questions and concerns, took her time to explain everything to me. I will definitely recommend her and already have recommended her. Thank you for your care !

Words cannot explain how I feel with the quality of service I received from Dr. Barber. Ive had nightmare of doctors before and today was a breath of fresh air. I could just cry with the amount of happiness and peace I feel, having someone like Dr.Barber by my side. She listened and I felt heard! Phenomenal!

Dr. Barber is great in person, she will give you the time of day plus. After the appointment, it is hard to reach her via the patient portal or by calling. I have called, left messages, been hung up on. In person, she and her staff are top notch, but not in person, it is impossible to get a hold of anyone any time.

The best doctor I’ve had. She’s very attentive and addresses all my concerns. She never seems bothered by my million questions. I’m happy I switched to her service a few weeks into my pregnancy. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new OB/GYN.

Dr.Barber is one of the best OBGYN’s I have ever had. She’s very compassionate and detailed when explaining any questions or concerns you may have. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Barber is the best! She goes above and beyond and I know she genuinely cares. She listens, answers all of my questions and is very knowledgeable. Disappointed, disgusted and frustrated in the care I received! She was not my doctor and when my doctor told me he would leave me under her care I pleaded with him multiple times not to and to please find me a different doctor (after reading her reviews). Unfortunately she was the attending when I arrived at the hospital laboring. Her beside manners were horrendous and after being mistreated she never went back in to check on me. I would not recommend for her to care for anyone and this is coming from a nurse.

I’ve had great experience with all my visits. Dr Barber takes the time to listen and carefully explains procedures ...making me feel at ease.You will be required to wear your mask and social distance in the waiting room. I highly recommend her!

Dr. Barber is the best OBGYN I have ever been too! She made my first pregnancy experience amazing she took the time to listen and answer all my questions, would highly recommend her!

She is extremely thoughtful and caring. She takes her time to explain everything and makes sure you understand what she is about to do. I definitely am happy with her.

If you come early to appt they say you are early and won’t register you - but if you come on time - wait time is 2 hours …soo not sure if coming on time makes any sense…as if you appt is for 8 am the doctor doesn’t even walk in till after 8:30 am …clinic should be ready to run before 8 am - staff should be ready including doctor - to accommodate pts on time -St joes and it’s staff are not entitled- everyone’s time is valuable - the way the clinic gives no respectTo pts time is a sign they don’t care for pts time and find ptsTo be invaluable when it’s the pts insurance paying their salaries …

I specifically made an appt to be seen first at 8 am appt - then came was given a little ticket to hold till it was my turn to be called by registration - and was told doctor isn’t even here in clinic and that I would have to wait more than an hour to be seen as they double triple book pts- I literally made a first appt so that I can go to work after an early visit - clearly administration is terrible and the doctor who is supposed to here at 8 am is not .
