I like the doctor but the staff do not answer the phone & do not return phone call messages. It took me months to get an appointment with a specialist & despite requests from both myself & the specialists office, they never sent scan & lab results that were vital for appointment with the specialist. Now I have to reschedule as they could not see me without those medical records
Quality medical care. Very personal and caring. Staff goes out of their way to care for patients needs. They try to stay available and flexible.
Dr. Elrod at Integrated Wellness is one of the best doctors I have seen for Thyroid Disease and you have been the most compassionate doctor to help me with the battles I fight daily with my disease. I thank you daily for being who you are and making my life better by explaining to me how my disease works and taking time to listen to what I have to say to make life better for my family! Thank you for being my Primary Doctor! GOD BLESS YOU YOUR STAFF AND FAMILY FOR HELPING US!!! 💕
First of all the address is incorrect & the staff neglected to let anyone know but are aware that it is wrong on Google & has known for a year. This cause me to be 30+ min late for my apt therefore I was rushed through my first pregnancy appointment. I was also rushed out of the room since they needed it for someone else, it took 2 people to poke me 3 times to draw blood in the hallway. Most of the staff seems nice but I would think there would be a little more organization & communication for a company that has been open for more than a few years. I was told during the appointment that I would get a package with birth information when I was done. I checked out gave my insurance info to the girl at the front desk & made the next appointment (which I will be cancelling) & walked out the door. I got down the road realizing that I didnt get any information at all.Basically this was my first pre-natal visit to a doctor & I came out of it with minimal information. Ive done my research online & talked to friends...but isnt the doctor supposed to educate their clients on these items?? I dont recommend anyone else to go there & get the same runaround with no information.
Went to the Valley and Dr. Elrod specifically to save money on a very expensive procedure (Anchorage OB/GYN offices were charging 40% more for the same procedure in town). I didnt want to be put to sleep for a 90 second procedure and Dr. Elrod offered the service for a great value as an in-office, out-patient service. Win-win...or so I thought. All I can say folks is get your quotes for services IN WRITING...what was billed to my insurance did not match the verbal estimate I was given. It took them 8-months to bill the service to my insurance and by then way too many office staff changes resulted in no one being able to confirm what I was told and had written notes on. Granted, they adjusted part of my remaining out-of-pocket cost - but ultimately Dr. Elrod ended up making about 38% more than was originally quoted to me for the service. Not to mention the fact that while my procedure was done another doctor (or I believe she was actually a Nurse Practitioner) ended up in the room learning how to do the procedure (what correctly ablated tissue should look like) and I had no idea she would be in there with Dr. Elrod and the assisting nurse. While Im glad to finally be done with the procedure end of it all, well, the rest of the non-sense I could have truly done without.
Nothing but a great experience 💕Highly reccommend.
