I recently visited AFC Urgent Care in Warminster for a hand injury, and I couldnt be more pleased with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive. The receptionist quickly processed my information and got me in to see the doctor without much wait. The doctor and the entire medical team were exceptional. They thoroughly examined my injury, explained the treatment plan clearly, and answered all my questions with patience and empathy. The care I received was top-notch, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire visit

Worth the wait and the patience. Before my visit to AFC, I was in the ER for 10 hours. A nurse practitioner, a physician assistant, and a doctor could not figure out what was wrong. Yet, I come to visit this AFC and Dr. Applebaum takes 5 minutes and figures it out and now I am better. Thank you.

Very weird and uncomfortable experience. The nurse/assistant was very unfriendly and not pleasant barely looked me in the face when speaking, but that was the least of my concerns. The doctor there was very creepy and made me uncomfortable, repeating himself, asking me the same questions and then telling me to bring my 4yr old in because he “would like to see him” made it the most uncomfortable urgent care experience I have ever encountered. Why would he need to see my child? He’s not sick which I replied to him. Just all around weird. I only went in for a strep test so I could rule it out as to why my throat was hurting so bad. Strep came back apparently negative and the doctor went on to make the comment about my child instead of telling me ways I could possibly help my symptoms. I would recommend not going here for yourself and especially not a child. If anyone from corporate would like me to reach out to them kindly leave an email or phone number.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This was my first time going here- I wish I read the reviews before making that choice.“Dr.” Lance Wilson was extremely curt and rude. He lacked any type of bedside manner from the second he walked in the door. He did not take my concerns seriously. In fact, he stated “you’re not that sick”. I am astounded those words came out of his mouth after spending a measly 10 seconds in the room with me and not addressing my comments or concerns. I left. No paper with my results or instructions on what I can do to improve. Nothing.Do better AFC. If you are going to have signs posted in every room about patient satisfaction and you guarantee a warm, kind, caring enviornment- it should be expected that that is the care patients will receive. What a waste of time and money!Never again.

I went to AFC Urgent Care in Warminster after my dog accidentally bit my hand. As a board certified internal medicine physician, I know that the standard of care for a dog bite on the hand calls for antibiotic prophylaxis, a tetanus shot (if not receiving one within 5 years), and to leave the wound open to heal on its own if possible. Lance Wilson MD saw me and provided care that fell well below the standard of care. He stated that antibiotics and a tetanus shot were not warranted (despite my last tetanus shot being 6 years ago). He also stated that the laceration needed to be glued... I reminded him of the standard of care and was told You came here to receive care, not to dictate care. Overall, the care I received fell below the standard of care and was not acceptable. If you cannot hire providers to provide appropriate medical care that falls within the standard of care, then you shouldnt be open to provide these services at all.

My family and I have been to this location several times since they became AFC Urgent Care. We were satisfied with the services until recently. July 5th 2024 my husband and I arrived after 5pm. The provider was unprofessional. I dont know her name because she did not provide discharge paperwork. When my husband asked about discharge paperwork she told him You dont need it. My husbands eye was red and very swollen. The provider barely examined him. The provider was loudly complaining that my husband came there to be treated. The provider told my husband that he had a broken blood vessel in his eye. They gave a prescription for eye drops which turned out to be over the counter antihistamine drops. The next day I ended up taking my husband to the ER. My husband has prespetal cellulitis and a corneal abrasion. If the provider was unable to properly diagnose or treat my husband, she should have said that and sent us elsewhere. Instead the provider was uncaring and unprofessional and did not attempt to diagnose the issue. I hope that AFC Urgent care takes this seriously and is more careful who they hire.

The other staff were very friendly though they didn’t do their job. I also had to call to inquire about billing. Horrible experience tonight when i took my young son to be seen. The front desk worker rushed me to register from my phone because he said they were closing in 5 min . Mind you, there was no sign saying they were closing 2 hours early. As soon as we were called back the medical assistant or nurse was so rude and just yelled come back. I am a nurse who worked in an urgent care and i completely understand when you want to go home but the treatment my son received was unreal. The girl who called us back even had the audacity to be annoyed and tell my 3 year old to cover his mouth when he had a coughing attack. You are probably in the wrong field if a child coughing gets to you even when you are wearing a mask. I only went here because of how close it is to our home but never again. Oh and usually i wouldnt say anything about being in and out because i get people want to go home but the attitudes were uncalled for.

This place has the nastiest uncaring staff I have ever met. I took my niece that is 2 years old and they refused to see her because of insurance being out of state. I offered to pay out of pocket but then the NP came out with and attitude to say once she has Medicaid we can’t see her. I once again said I would pay out of pocket she is wheezing belly breathing they still refused to help us in any way. The worst part is when we asked well if she was even worse would you still refuse us they the provider stated yes we don’t take your insurance. It’s sad and crazy that they didn’t even attempt to look at her once they heard she had Medicaid. The provider wouldn’t listen instead she talked down to my brother and myself. I am a nurse and I would never in a million years treat a person as if they are less than because of the health insurance they have. This facility is all about caring for those with money they are not about community or healthcare. They should be shut down. Jen is rude, unprofessional, and lacks all compassion you need in a healthcare setting. I waited for half an hour to even have someone take my information, and once Jen mispronounced my name and called me up, she was not listening when I was giving my details, I had to repeat things I said, and I ultimately left because she was trying to file a claim through my auto insurance instead of my health insurance after I came in for a simple x-ray follow up after a car accident. I asked her why she needed my auto insurance considering I haven’t filed a claim yet, and she said that she didn’t know. She belittled me for handing her my health insurance instead of my auto insurance when she didn’t even specify what she wanted. Sorry I haven’t been in an accident before, Jen! What I liked about my visit: I recently visited this location due to pain in the lower calf. I was greeted by the front desk within seconds coming into the lobby. They took my information and asked me to have a seat and wait, I sat for not even a minute before they called me back to the room. The nurse who took me back asked a few questions and within minutes after that the doctor came in. She checked my leg and said she thinks this may be a blood clot. She insisted I go to get an ultrasound first thing the next morning, she provided me with a script to get the ultrasound done and ask if I would contact her the next day after I have gotten the ultrasound done so she could tell me my results right then and there before I left the hospital. I was pleased with the service and what that the doctor wanted me to do. Turned out it was a blood clot in the lower calf, I was able to take care of it before something more drastic happened. What I didnt like about the visit: The lobby was very clean, well organized but the examine room floor was very dirty and a little sticky. The second thing I was not happy about is when I went to make the appointment the next day at the hospital the scheduler told me the doctor never called in approval for the ultrasound, so I did not get this done until the follow day. Slightly disappointment as this was important if and when it turned out it was a blood clot.

This was my first urgent care experience. I “like” it. I went in with a problem right after work - in pain, on a cold and rainy night. I filled out paperwork, got seen in an appropriate amount of time and diagnosed. The receptionist was very courteous and spot on with her work. The physician assistants are also knowledgeable about their work and courteous. My prescription was called in to my pharmacist and waiting for me. I would recommend them to everyone who needs mild/moderate immediate care. Every case does not justify emergency room care and I am glad this urgent care facility is available.Keynote - The office is meticulously clean.Thank you.

I called about them losing my daughters cultures and after today I think they threw them out. I loved this office. Their is a doctor there who is awesome, she must not be working there anymore and I can see why. I had my daughter call to give them permission to speak to me. I just wanted to find out what time a supervisor would be there so that we could go speak to her. The receptionist or person who answered was very polite. She was great. The supervisor who yelled at me and hung up on me 3 times when I just was asking for time I could go with my daughter to speak to her. I felt like I was talking or trying to talk to a five year old. Then she tells my daughter that I cursed at her which is not true. I hope they record their phone calls so they can see what kind of person they have working for them. I have told everyone I know how great this place is.... I’m so disappointed that because of this one person, I have to now find a new place.Theresa Weber(Mother)So, I read your response and emailed you over week ago and like I thought, it was only to look good. I left my phone number and my email address. You are more worried about the bad review , clearly. Health Care services are starting to understand that there are now choices for consumers. In this day of high deductible plans, self-pay, etc. the Emergency Room at the local hospital is a very cost prohibitive option. A few days ago, my child badly injured his ankle in a sporting event. His ankle swelled up and he couldnt put any weight on it. We had previously been to Premier Urgent Care for physicals, but this was our first visit for an injury. The facilities were modern and well lit. We were seen within minutes by a very competent health care professional. My sons foot was x-rayed, instructions were given, and they took the time to answer all my questions. We were in and out very quickly. What would have previously been a whole day affair took no longer than getting your oil changed in your car. What was particularly impressive is that we not only received one, but two follow-up calls to check in on his progress and see if we had additional questions. That service alone guarantees that Premier Urgent Care is now my first choice! Fast, Affordable, and Convenient.

Went today to simply get a COVID-19 test done and was told upon sign in that there was a 4 hour wait. I left my ID and insurance card and proceeded back to my car and waited. Three hours went by and I then received a “registration” phone call from a lady at the front desk named Dawn, I believe. I was asked a series of questions verifying my information and was then asked if I was there to get a COVID-19 test or to be seen by a doctor…I reiterated that I was there to get tested, not see a doctor. I was then told that I would receive a call to come in because they’d soon be ready for me. After hearing nothing for another hour I call the front desk. I was then transferred to a nurse, who I had to inform I was only looking to receive a test, not to be seen by a doctor. Four hours of my day was wasted because rather than being listened to, I was clearly dismissed without care. I could have and should have been seen much sooner. I understand that being a receptionist in a pandemic can be hectic. However, when you ask a question that could significantly impact a patient’s wait time, it’s your job to SLOW DOWN, FOCUS, and LISTEN. I will not be returning to this location nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Absolute AWFUL place to visit when you have actual problems. I arrived to Tower Health Urgent Care on a Sunday afternoon with EXTREME pain in my lower back/side. I was in tears it was so painful. I suspected a kidney infection, since I had one before. Once I explained myself, they basically laughed in my face because my urine was too light to have a kidney infection. They told me to take Tylenol, and if the pain persisted to go to the ER. They ASSURED me they would send my urine culture to make sure there was no bacteria found, and I would get a call in 2-3 days. Days pass and the pain still persists. I didnt have the money to go to the ER since my insurance does not cover it, so I waited. No call, day after day. Finally on Thursday, FOUR days later, I CALL and they told me something happened to my cultures, and they didnt have them. They were extremely rude and just kept telling me to go to the ER and they couldnt do anything. So heads up, I would NEVER get bloodwork or cultures here because theyll never actually end up sending them out, causing you to suffer for so much longer

*UPDATE* I was going to delete this review, but I think people should still hear my experience. I upped it to 3 stars because After emailing corporate and immediately got a call back from Colleen, the regional practice manager. When she asked who my ENT was, she said she knows her personally, and if she says I should get an antibiotic and steroid when I feel my sinuses acting up, than thats what I need. She immediately called in the Rxs, Im already starting to feel better!I would literally have to be unconscious to go back here. I was fine with the wait because I expected that, but the PA I saw, BETSY, was terrible. She was clearly rude, and wanted to get rid of me as soon as she could. her bedside manner was terrible, and she totally ignored critical things I said. I have had multiple sinus infections in my life, even had one for 6 months straight. I have seen one of the TOP ENTs in the area, who I should have tried to go see instead of urgent care. I have brown discharge, which my ENT told me means I am starting an infection and should be on an antibiotic. I was also told not to use flonase, because it wouldnt help my issue. Betsy LITERALLY said thats totally wrong, listen to the real doctor. Im confused as to who the real doctor is in this case. An ENT recognized as among the best in her field, who is a literal specialist in her field, with over 30 years experience, or the urgent care PA. As a note I love NPs and PAs and often find them to give BETTER care than MDs or DOs, but in this case no way! Also, I went in almost in tears in pain, and she suggested Tylenol, which I explained to her previously does nothing to help with pain for me because of other chronic pain issues. So now I am left still in extreme pain, told to take medications my specialist has told me not to take, with nothing to help the throbbing in my face go away. I literally started sobbing when I got to my car I was so upset by her treatment.

Seemingly like many others, I had the same poor experience with the NP, Cassandra Wartman. However, the PA I met with was extremely friendly and helpful and I appreciated her quick diagnosis. A receptionist, Marian, was also very accommodating and sweet. My concern was with Cassandra who called to give me my results and her behavior on the phone when I called back for clarification. She could not have been in more of a rush to get me off the phone. I had maybe 3 or 4 questions and we were not on the phone longer than 2 maybe 3 minutes. It left me with a pit in my stomach and the sad reminder that asking too many questions is of such an inconvenience that patients should be discouraged from advocating for themselves. I have never written a review or felt the urge to do so but I felt that embarrassed by her behavior. She also really didnt seem to understand what I was saying and I could practically hear her roll her eyes through the phone. She honestly made me feel like a huge idiot--an unsettling feeling when you need that persons help and worst of all, she was uninformed.

Its time for Dr. Villanueva to retire. She spent more time arguing about my flu symptoms rather than concerned about them. Im a nurse in a hospital who is required to get a flu shot every year so when one of us ends up with the flu regardless, it definitely presents a huge issue. Typically flu symptoms get worse before they get better. This was day 1 for me. I knew immediately something wasnt right and based on the severity of symptoms this wasnt your common cold. Given as though I felt so bad I couldnt drive myself, I medicated with Ibuprofen to help the fever and aches long enough to get me to urgent care, CVS, and back home. A bit earlier I received a text from work that the patient I discharged previously was readmitted to the hospital with, you guessed it, the flu! Well no wonder I feel this way. When I arrived my vitals were very abnormal for me, elevated BP, extremely elevated HR (130 to be exact), and of course no fever thanks to the ibuprofen. Then comes in Dr. V. Mind you the minute I mentioned that I believed I had the flu everyone that came in contact with me wore a protective mask as droplets are how the flu is spread. But not Dr. V. She comes in and asks me the same questions the tech before her asked me not even glancing at the paper where my responses were previously recorded. I noted my HR and she said Oh yes that is a bit high isnt it? So glad of her to notice. I also mentioned that earlier I had been running a fever but was now medicated. Disinterested she did her usual exam getting very near my face with no mask. No abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting? No....yet. She then tells me that because I was exposed so recently it would be impossible to have the flu.........Flabbergasted, I had to remind her that the incubation period was as little as 24 hours. We were well past that now. So I supposed she thought that the fever, severe body aches, congestion, sneezing, fatigue, abnormal vital signs, etc were all apart of my every day life? She continued to further argue with me and then left. When the tech came back in she brought me a prescription for Tamiflu which was the only thing that the good doctor did correctly since I walked in. I mentioned to the tech that if she was so doubtful of my symptoms, why not do what every hospital does and give me a rapid flu test? She told me that they dont provide them anymore. Im sorry....what??? To make matters worse, my work note was only written for 2 days hence. At this point I seriously start to question her competence. Flu symptoms, particularly a fever, must resolve for a full 24 hours with no medication before returning back to work. This goes for ANYONE, but particularly someone who works with patients with poor immune systems in a hospital setting. 2 days isnt likely going to cut it at all. The average is about a week but with the help of Tamiflu I was hoping to return to work before then when symptoms began to resolve. I asked her for an extension which she promptly denied. Wow. The fact that Dr. V was treating me like someone who simply didnt want to go to work was awful, but after the brief insensitive contact I had with her, not surprising. So I took my note and my signed prescription and went to CVS. The pharmacy stated that they were unable to fill it because my name and DOB didnt match the printed prescription. Indeed, the woman printed me a prescription for Tamiflu under a completely different patient chart. For those that dont know, a patient having another patients name and DOB is a violation of HIPPA. Seriously!?! I called the urgent care dreading the fact that I would have to go back to this woman and out of courtesy sent an e-script to my pharmacy. Sorry for the long-winded post everyone but something tells me shes not a well-liked doctor and I needed to tell my experience. To update this post, this abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting, the few symptoms I didnt have, finally manifested itself the next morning. My fever didnt break until nearly the 4th day. But sure, go back to work yesterday, right? Disgusted.

Took my 2 year old daughter here. The doctor didnt run a single test, called it the flu, and prescribed her tamiflu. The entire reason to take a patient to Urgent Care is to definitively determine the illness and prescribe medication as needed. Doctors are so eager to run through patients, volume, that they arent doing their job. Turns out my daughter had strep throat. Not only did the doctor at this center not diagnose the illness my child had (which could have been timely treated), she actually gave her medication for an illness she didnt even have. I was seen for dates of service in 2017. The staff literally had no idea what my copay was and made pay incorrect amounts. I received a bill in the mail from those dates of service stating I was going to collections if I didnt pay. My statement I received was from April 2019. I tried getting a hold of the billing office and no one answers the phone or calls back after leaving multiple messages.

Premier Urgent Care thank you for your excellent care. I was there for treatment of UTI. Each person from the receptionist, to the Nurse Practicioner were helpful, attentive and professional. I had to call for extra help days later and they continued to be attentive. I highly recommend Primier Urgent Care.

I was diagnosed wrong. They said I had strep throat and put me on amoxicillin. They said if anything got worse to call or come back. I called two days later stating that nothing was getting better and I was feeling way worse. Also that I had a rash around my neck since taking the meds. They told me to wait another 2 days and then call back. I ended up in the hospital that night and they retested me for strep and it was negative. They tested me for mono and that came back positive. They said the rash was a bad reaction because when you have mono the penicillin reacts badly with your body. I’m lucky I went to the hospital and got the help I needed cause I would have ended up way sicker. If only urgent care would have diagnosed me right then maybe I wouldn’t have been in so much pain and so sick. Definitely never coming back here. Wasted my money too, and think I deserve my money back.

I waited in there for almost 45 minutes to be seen while they let 2 people who came in after me be seen almost right away(no appt cause you cannot make one). And then on top of that we were given dirty looks the whole time and the front receptionist and the one doctor thought it was funny we were waiting for a while. I am disgusted with this place honestly and will never recommend it to anyone as long as those people are working there cause they were just plain old rude and unhelpful

Getting screwed by an out of network ambulance bill of over $2000 because I took the advice of the people here to take my 10 year old son to the hospital by ambulance (7 miles). Never told me it would be very expensive knowing my insurance coverage. I would have just driven my son to the hospital if I had know. They called the ambulance service so makes me think they are in league with them to call out of network ambulance services. Never again will I make this mistake.

Office super clean, the front desk MA was very professional and easygoing, bathroom was clean as well. My only concern was with the MA, she had an actitud during the intake interview, her tone was very rude and I felt like something was bodering her. Maybe she was having a bad day but she shouldn’t had taken it on me or any other patient. The nurse was very professional and informative, she was kind and answered all my questions. By the way the MA came to the front and was discussing medical info with a patient wich is a HIPPA violation, she should had take the patient in and informed or cleared any concern innprivate. I will come back but this MA needs to be re trainined in compassion and caring. Must of all respect for the patients and their families.

Horrible, Nurse practitioner extremely unprofessional, judgemental, and rude! Receptionist was pleasant and apologetic. Went for a foot ailment was interrupted by Nurse Practitioner while checking in with the receptionost asking private info in the waiting area. NOT only did she question my intelligence, which was an insult as I am a nurse too, she wouldnt even listen to me as the patient to what my complaints were; she already had in her mind what was going on before even assessing my foot. ALTHOUGH she made it a point to ask about bug bites I had.. Not a drug seeker lady just wanted to know if I have a fractured foot. Will never go there again.

I went to Tower Health with pain in arm that was stretching from my elbow to the shoulder. It wasnt very busy so I was seen rather quickly. Reception was polite as were the nurses. To make a long story short I was told it was a pulled muscle, even though I explained I didnt pull anything. I was told to take the day off and take some aleve. Well the pain was already unbearable and it continued to get worse. I winded up going to the ER at Holy Redeemer and was diagnosed with a rotator cuff injury and needed injections. Needless to say, going to Tower Health was a mistake. Stick to the ER.

Never ever will I go back there! Went in Saturday not feeling well and my throat on fire w. Trouble swallowing and swollen glands. Cassandra the woman I think thats saw me completely blew me off physicians assistant I believe she was. Barely checked me out claimed I didnt have strep throat just a bad cold. Cold and cough medicine that I didnt even need because I wasnt coughing was called in. The woman who took the intake was more compassionate and had more knowledge than this woman. In fact that was the woman who told me to take cold medicine. Went and picked up DayQuil extreme and night time extreme which didnt end up really doing anything. By Saturday night my fever had reached 102. Pain all wknd and went to my Dr today..... I have strep throat, Im highly contagious, extreme swollen glands etc. Sick and now on proper meds... My Dr was furious after looking at their notes

To go see a different doctor and I asked her if they could at least cut it down an she said no they have no nail clippers. Made me feel stupid to go see a doctor but my nails been ripping of slowly an Im in a ton of pain. Ill remember next time to not bother with them. Thanks for nothing.

I was glad to find them open on a Sunday evening. They didnt make me wait longer because I was self-pay, about 15 min! Several caregivers waited on me to guide me on my punctured finger. They respected my health choices & decisions to decline an x-ray. They caregully got my ring off so they didnt have to cut it. I recvd a tetanus shot, antibiotics, & I was out of there for $215. Thats what I call an honest health center that serves the community and not the directors.

EVERYTIME (5th time) i go there for something the lady thats blonde (big girl) comes out and has to make a problem or a reason not to have me seen by a doctor. I thought only doctors or practioners where the only ones able to diagnose? Rude people. I will never go here or with my children again. If people are coming there for help and have insurance why make it difficult for people? She needs to be fired!

Called late in the day on a Monday to see if they could give me a covid test because I had just learned I was exposed and wouldnt be able to go back to work unless I was tested. They were only able to give me a PCR since I was not showing symptoms, but the point is that they gave me one! When my boyfriend went a few days later for the exact same reason, they said theyd only do the rapid which is not as trusted as the PCR... even thought they told him theyd do the PCR over the phone when we called ahead... they didnt even tell him it was the rapid after after he was already in the chair.

Went in last night because Ive been so sick for a few days and started to have diarrhea and small amounts of chest pain here and there so I got concerned. Loved the receptionist she was fantastic..however once I told her it was day 3 and only a small amount of symptoms the attending physician or whoever he was got up from behind the counter and said here let me save you the $75 co-pay i can tell by looking at you that you have the flu and I can do nothing for you since its the third day rest and fluids etc etc. This guy kept saying this over and over again until I got so confused took my debit card back from the receptionist and left and went and cried in my car because I just wanted help and answers. I went in for help and got diagnosed by how I look? Ended up in the ER instead with an respiratory infection and the onset of pneumonia with a small trace of fluid in my lungs. Im out of work for the week and have to take antibiotics. I am so glad my husband told me to go somewhere else and not home like this jackass did. I WILL NEVER step foot in this place again. Not sure what kind of doctor can tell your diagnoses by the look of your face but maybe he should not be be caring for patients.
