Mens Vitality Center & Vitality Internal Medicine - Tempe, Arizona

This review is being written on behalf of my father, Michael.I’ve been attending this clinic for years now, and every time I have found the staff to be beyond helpful. They go above and beyond and I cannot recommend this facility enough.

Been coming to this location for over 10 years and the level of service in the last couple months has gone down since they have had turn over in the front desk area. They been running out of MIC and B12 that I have prepaid for then try to charge for this the next month when I never recieved the prior month. I waited over 30 minutes last week and it was NOT busy and not even a sorry for the wait

Although the Doctor was very nice dealing with the office staff was a horrible experience good luck getting a call back or any accurate information the one lady Jennifer idk how she got that job I’m not sure if she even knew she was working in a medical office the communication is just ridiculous no one knows what’s going on and it’s very clear that the women who answers the phones there do not care about the business or if they make money I was a private pay client but because of the office staff specifically Jennifer I refuse to spend any more money there I’m not paying my hard earned money on incompetence

Multiple appointments scheduled including ones in person and then somehow they magically are never on the calendar. Office just puts you on hold when you call in and the staff seems to have changed recently. Extremely disappointed with the drop in service.

I have been a patient at Men’s Vitality for several years now and have nothing but praise for the staff. The front office has always been welcoming and friendly even in times the office is extremely busy.As far as the back office, Maria has ALWAYS gone above and beyond in addressing questions/needs/concerns I have had over the years. As a result, I have referred several other patients, including professional athletes , to MV and Maria has been my “go to” person in getting them seen not only in a timely manner, but ensured they were well taken care of.I highly recommend Mens Vitality and will continue to be a loyal patient for years to come!

I have to be honest I normally dont write reviews but so far my experience has been pretty awful. Initially when I met with the doctor I was feeling pretty good after our conversation but shortly after everything just went south. Initially when I had my labs drawn the tech forgot to draw my hormone levels and only got my basic labs. I expected a call at least within 7 business days but did not receive one. Instead I had to call the office on 4 different occasions over a ten day period of time just to find out that they got my results but didnt forgot to draw my hormone labs. So I made another visit and had those labs drawn. I thought for sure they would call me this time with the results but I never received a call. Instead I made a call to get the results. They emailed them to me and said the Dr. would give me a call. Its been 4 days now and still no call. This is office is extremely disorganized and obliviously has no communication amongst the staff. I will be going elsewhere now for treatment to avoid wasting my time. Im also giving this two stars instead of one because I honestly believe the Dr. is great but the staff and how the biz is ran is very unimpressive.

Scheduled an appointment for my boyfriend here and over the phone I had mentioned his insurance which is Blue Shield. Front desk said that they didnt need his insurance before the appointment which I thought was a little weird but continued on and set up the appointment. Arrived the day of the appointment front desk was wearing airpods and was quick to tell me that the appointment would be self pay because they only had one doctor that accepted his insurance and they were in Tempe.Honestly if it was for the front desk lack of attention and patient care, we would have been scheduled properly with the right doctor and not have wasted time. Really disappointed with the office.

MVC has been my primary care doctor for years, and I wouldnt go anywhere else. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the office is in a convenient location. Ive been to other doctors offices where they act like they dont know you when you come in. You will feel at home with MVC. Maria is the best and goes the extra mile to make sure patients needs are taken care of.

Men’s Vitality Center has always treated me great throughout the years. Willing to discuss all manners of healthcare. The one thing that I was amazed with beside having the most personable staff when you walk in it feels like a family that you are immediately apart of.

Great staff, great service, friendly visits each and every time. From my first visit to my last, everyone is so helpful and kind. If you are considering getting testosterone replacement therapy or just have some questions, this IS the place to start. In most cases, I am in and out in less than 15 minutes. Super convenient, I only hope that they had a location closer to my home but the visit makes the drive all worth it.

I’m a professional athlete and Dr Evans has been an essential part of my team to help me perform at my best. He listens to me and treats me as an individual when it comes to his recommendations and conversations about my medical results. The staff here has always been very helpful and friendly as well.

I just wanted to write a review, on the Mens Vitality center Tempe.I have been a patient for over 5 years and can not even list all the benefits of Testosterones replacement therapy,You will fee 20 years younger and sharper /stronger and full of energy .The staff led by Dr. Christina Ross will be there every step of the, even if you choose to stop therapy, they will continue guide you through this journey.I did have an unrelated medical issue a couple of years ago and nurse Maria discovered and quite possibly saved my life. Ive been coming to MVC for many years now. Christina Ross, FNP-C is one of a kind. She listens to her patients, and provides the best solution to their needs and problems. Her bedside manner is the best Ive experienced and witnessed. She truly is a caring medical professional. All the nurses are friendly and efficient. Katie at the front desk, who runs the small Tempe office area, is amazing. She does the work of many and always greets everyone with a smile.I feel fantastic, younger, healthier and stronger than ever. Im happy to have found this place and feel very lucky to have Christina Ross as my primary care physician everyone that works there is amazing. I highly recommend MVC.

Looks like there hasnt been a review in over a year. Let me bring you up to speed. My husbands concerns over startling test results were brushed off. After seeking a second opinion from another medical professional, who WAS concerned, my husband, as well as myself, decided to cancel our next appointments. Perhaps we would have given them another chance, if we werent brushed off again, when we were simply told, okay your appointment is canceled. Have a nice day. Not one ounce of trying to retain patients by asking if we could reschedule or if there were any concerns.

READ!!!!! Don’t waste your time here. I called to schedule an appointment and wanted to see if this place was right for me but they didn’t want to answer any of my questions over the phone. So when I made an appointment with Martha Ellis for a $200 consultation she then explained some of the treatment plans, but I mentioned that I was on testosterone through my own provider and I just wanted to do some sort of estrogen blocker and GH. She then lied to me and told me that was perfectly fine and that we would start all the other stuff and she would get back to me on the GH because she did not specialize in that. A few weeks later after not hearing back from them I called and said what was the next step and they completely forgot about my treatment plan and what we agreed upon. Then the lady over the phone mentioned that the doctor won’t start any of the treatment unless I am getting testosterone shots through them which is ridiculous because I get the same test $30 for the entire vile through Frys Pharmacy where you guys are charging $60 per injection that’s just cruel and unfair to the patients who really need this. I would never recommend this place 👎🏼

Everyone at this office is AMAZING!Christina, The FNP-C is definitely on top of her game and works directly with patients to evaluate and prescribe the best possible treatment needed.Maria and Ariel ( Nurse’s) are great as well. They are attentive and quite knowledgeable. I flood them with questions and concerns each week, and am very pleased with their answers and professionalism.Bozena is the best phlebotomist EVER!I I really hate blood draws!(I mean who actually likes them?). Somehow , she makes the experience comfortable and puts your mind at ease.Up at the front desk we have Yolonda andKatie. Both do an excellent job greeting members, making phone calls, taking phone calls and making the office run smoothly. Katie has an infectious personality that puts a smile on your face every time you see her.If you’re looking for a clinic, where the employees are A+ . A place where they actually care about your well-being . And a place where you’re not just treated as a number…Give this place a shot( pun intended)!

Stay away from this place. Very unprofessional and made me feel like a criminal. I had a scheduled appointment to review my labs. Secondary to getting TRT treatment. I signed the waiver and when I went to go pay I had my Standard visit pay, Cash Payer and I had to pay for the TRT treatment which is $200. I paid the standard visit fee with my debit card and paid the TRT with cash since I had the exact amount in the car. I get the treatment and injections to take home. The next day I get a phone call stating that they do not have the $200 payment. Long story short I spoke with the Director of the building and she states that they have cameras was not clarified if she can see the transaction on the camera. I had to argue with her over the phone for 30 minutes about the whole situation I pretty much said I made my payment I got my product the rest is your problem. She says and I quote “I agree to disagree.” And that she would follow up with me in a week. Long story short I called the office the next day made an additional $200 payment I made sure I got a receipt and I will never ever go back to this place ever again. It’s very unfortunate please stay away this was my experience never again. Be sure to get a receipt for every transaction you do.

I’ve been coming to this clinic since early 2016. During my time here, I’ve experienced phenomenal care in all aspects of my health.The staff is nothing short of amazing. Brook, Jesse, Mia and Brandon are always friendly, helpful and go above and beyond. I would recommend to anyone to go see Dr. Evans and his staff.Go Cards

I use Mens Vitality Center and its physicians for my primary care and have received good, comprehensive, and thorough care over the years from Michelle, then Kelvin, and now Christina and Theresa. The practice has struggled a bit with continuity of care, but I think that will improve now that Christina and Theresa are the new providers. Both are Nurse Practitioners and are personable, caring, and knowledgeable. They are not so quick to throw a pill at your problem, but instead work with you to determine the cause of an illness and the best method of treatment. I have always been able to book a same-day or next-day appointment, which is an AMAZING feat in these times and greatly appreciated! Finally, they are conveniently located off of Baseline and Rural in Tempe.

I have been going to MVC for a little over two years. I have had a great experience, the staff always is professional and friendly. Mia, Jesse and Cindy go out of their way to make sure the clinic runs smoothly! Would definitely recommend MVC to anyone!

I was referred to MVC from a client of mine and have been extremely happy with the care received by everyone...from the front desk to Dr. Evans! Top notch service with a smile that treats you like a person and not a number. Come see for yourself as you will not be disappointed!

Excellent service, professional staff, definitely recommend to anyone that is need of expertise in mens or womens health. I have been on testosterone for 3 months now for being under the threshold and my health and wellbeing only continue to improve. So grateful that I found these guys.

I recently went in to see one of the (Physician Assistant) P.A.s about a rash I acquired on my arm using a certain sun tan lotion I purchased at Target. I then went on to state that I have been trying to use different over the counter products and I wanted something stronger. The P.A. just simply stated, It looks like it it going away so I cannot prescribe anything for it. Earlier in last year a similar situation occurred and I was given a stronger prescription which actually worked for a rash I had. I had hopes of getting the same treatment, but I felt my needs were EXTREMELY just tossed to the side. I left disappointed thinking, Why did I pay this co-pay, wake up early and dress half way decent, just to be told my common sense was working better than a medical opinion? Very-upsetting. Whats crazy is... this is TWICE a situation like this has happened. FROM THE SAME LOCATION! Poor service and I will not recommend to any FRIENDS of mine. So now I am going to get a second opinion from another Doctor and hopefully they will check my history file and have a better answer for me since, I go to the Dr. expecting SOME type of medical answer for my MEDICAL needs.

They have recorded my insurance information and address totally wrong. Thats why they billed me the full amount, sending multiple invoices to another address. I dont know if it reflected to my credit score. I ended up running after my invoices, fixed their mistakes and paid them.Also, the doctor who increased the dosage of my medicine was not there so I met with another one who told me that the new dosage will makemy heart larger???What the f???I dont recommend that place.

The place is old and they continue to change their practice policies and processes. They cant keep any staff. All of those things should tell you the owner has no interest in creating a reputable practice.Further, I was on HGH therapy there and they mismanaged getting the product, so my regiment lapsed 2 weeks. They didnt even understand the concept of having multiple suppliers to avoid such problems. Thank god most of their staff is friendlyI use the place only because of its location. Lord knows itd be easy to find a BETTER clinic.

I went to Mens vitality center due to lack of energy and excess weight gain. I found out my testosterone levels were around 100 should be at a 700 or a thousand . I started my injections and not soon after with new energy I lost 25 pounds and I feel so much better. They basically took over my Primary Dr’s role and handle everything now. I am very pleased with this facility here in Tempe.

I had a good experience until my last appointment. I asked the doctor about alternate treatments that they dont provide, and she either didnt know about them, which is what she told me, or didnt want me going anywhere else. So shes either not knowledgable about her speciality, or not ethical.Edit: I was trying to avoid specifics be cause its my health and I dont like to air my issuesI felt like its worth it based upon the response though. I asked the doctor about over the counter testosterone, which is the main focus of the practice. It wasnt general medical knowledge I was after, but specific to her speciality. She either didnt know (about alternatives to their main product) or didnt want to tell me. Either way,whether ignorance or shady, not a doctor or establishment i want to visit again. And if it was not ignorance then I stand by my use of the words not ethical. Not giving me health information in order to make a profit is unethical, if thats what it was.

Mens Vitality Center is fantastic. Moving back to Arizona and finding a reliable, honest doctor was beginning to be a problem for my back and associated pain. The problem was more than resolved with Mens Vitality Center. They not only have a super frinendly staff, but Charlene took charge and worked out a plan for me that has been working wonders. Im a patient forever. I am extremely happy and satisfied with Mens Vitality Center, especially the care and concern I received from Charlene.

This medical facility is not just for men and their patients include many women, such as myself. Waiting time less than half hour. The staff, reception, nurses and physicians are extremely competent treat all patients with the utmost respect.

All the people here are amazing. They were quick to get me in and seemed to really care about my health issues. They offer many services and are professional and courtious.

Started going here recently for my general checkups, etc. Office staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and seem like they care. I’ve recommended them to a couple friends as well.

I came in today to find out that they have been billing my insurance incorrectly for over a year.... Per their billing person Cigna changed their qualifications before may 2019 and they didnt know until now.......I cant believe their billing and coding team is that far behind.They assured me they dont want to back bill me. For their mistake?

Christina Ross and the people in the office as a whole are honestly so amazing....We just recently found her, and in my 72 years, I have never received the attention and care I receive there!!! A real desire to care for you!

Best place to go for TRT. Devon at the front desk is amazing! Shes always friendly and helpful, making every visit wonderful. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The staff here are very nice and extremely caring. The providers are very helpful and non judgemental. I wouldnt make the long drive from AJ to Tempe if it wasnt worth it.

Worst experience! The female doctor made me feel very uncomfortable and pushy like a used car salesman...so I decided not to use them after 2 minutes of talking with her and they send me a bill?!?! For not deciding to use them?!?!..... BEWARE!!
