A Family Urgent Care Medical Walk-In Clinic

I recently visited A+ urgent care and had a great experience! Even though they had multiple appointments and I was a walk in, they were able to quickly squeeze me in. I was in and out in under an hour, unlike most urgent cares where you may have to wait hours just to be seen. The facility was clean and well-organized, and the staff was so friendly and helpful, especially Mikaela. She set the initial tone of the facility as she was the first person I interacted with, and I instantly felt comfortable. Overall great experience and if I need to go to an urgent care again, itll definitely be this one.

Went online last night and scheduled an appointment for this morning at this urgent care. Plenty of open appointment slots and the online process was very user friendly and easy to do. They texted me a link to complete the registration process online this morning before the appointment, which was also quick and efficient. I was self pay and noticed their prices were pretty unbeatable. They clearly list all of their services and fees upfront.Staff was very friendly and kind! I saw PA Brooke who was really nice and thorough. I explained all of my symptoms to her and she definitely put me at ease. I liked that the medication was available through their office which was convenient and easier for me then making another trip to a pharmacy when I already didn’t feel great. Being self pay, I know most prices and theirs was still less then area pharmacies. I will definitely choose this place again for all of my future health needs.

Dr Patel and the team were great! Got me in quickly and helped me out tremendously with all my needs. Even followed up a few days after to make sure I was feeling better. I would 10/10 recommend them if you want the best care! They have affordable prices and are open late so this is a plus, and it never seemed too crowded.

I had an injury at the gym on Sunday and was in immediate, intense pain. I couldn’t walk, and despite using a heating pad and taking ibuprofen, nothing provided relief. I barely slept because I couldn’t find a comfortable position. By Monday night, I decided to visit this urgent care, and I’m so glad I did. The staff here was incredibly helpful, showing professionalism, compassion, and empathy for what I was going through. They administered a couple of shots, gave me a prescription, and the difference was night and day. This morning, instead of struggling for 20 minutes just to get dressed, I was able to get up and ready in about 5 minutes. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about your well-being, I highly recommend this location. Some places make you feel like just another number, but here, I felt like I was in a genuinely caring environment.

Was traveling for work and had a medical issue I needed to take care of before getting on an international flight. They were able to see me in less than an hour and even helped with a quick follow up a couple days later. Friendly, helpful staff, and easy scheduling. Can’t ask for more.

I have been a frequent visitor to this location. Komal and her staff are wonderful. They go above and beyond to assure you are seen in a professional manner, you understand the diagnosis, and the plan of attack to get well. Her communication skills are excellent. In addition, this location is very convenient to be seen. I called yesterday at 8am and I had an appointment to be seen at 930am. They don’t that with a regular doctors office. You have a better chance of choosing lottery ticket numbers. In addition, I was in and out within 1 hour. Amazing!!!

This clinic is a true inspiration and what every clinic should strive to resemble. The front desk receptionists and staff are kind and get the job done in an efficient manner, the wait time is usually short as well, just understand they are thorough and just as we would like, they give their clients their full attention and never rush to push you out with half a diagnosis. Dr. Komal Patel is certainly the reason i keep coming back, her service and attention is above and beyond. Thank you.

This is absolutely the BEST experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care. The entire staff was pleasant, helpful and efficient. I was able to make an appointment, only wait time was for me to fill out forms, and they even helped me upload some documents to their system. We were seen by Nurse Practitioner Jessica Dunkley PAC. She is professional, knowledgeable, and caring. She diagnosed my husband’s issue quickly and prescribed appropriate medication.Also found out that you can walk in anytime and get a B12 shot for $20!I was also quite surprised that we received a follow up phone call. That’s the first time in my life that I’ve had an urgent care call to follow up on a patient. You can’t go wrong using A+ Family Urgent Care on S. Dale Mabry. Highest possible recommendation!

I had a great experience at A Plus Family Urgent Care. The facility was very clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I felt very cared for and understood throughout my entire visit. Highly recommend and will be the first place I choose to go back too if I need another urgent care visit in the future!

The best urgent care in tampa! They are always speedy and take great care of me! They have low co pays and are always incredibly friendly! Very knowledgeable and recommend both over the counter and prescription solutions that have offered me long term and short term relief. They follow up call and adjust my plan as needed via the phone so I always have the best care and results!

I was in town on a business trip when I started to feel ill. I got an appointment within hours of when I wanted. I scheduled the appointment online. It was very easy. My only complaint was the very long form I had to fill out online before my appointment, but I guess thats all normal with seeing a new clinic. I got there a little early for my appointment and they saw me right away. The staff was very courteous and professional. I got tested for the illnesses I could have had and when one came back positive, the PA came in, examined me, told me the results, and prescribed me some medicine to try to help me feel better. The prescription was sent to the pharmacy of my choice and I had no problems picking it up. I can highly recommend this clinic for all your urgent care needs!

I just had the best experience at A+ ! Glo, Ashley and Brooke were all so helpful. I was able to get worked in and was seen right away. The best part was the in house pharmacy. It was much cheaper and more convenient than having to wait ! Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!

Everyone at A Plus Urgent care was wonderful to deal with. It was super easy to book an appointment and fill out any required paperwork online. There were minimal wait times and all staff were professional and knowledgeable.

I love this place. I have come here multiple times for sinus infections, and continue to come back bc of Komal! She is THE BEST! She’s been here since day 1 and remembers our family. She is thorough and kind. The staff are pleasant, and the place is clean. It’s not fancy but VERY well maintained and never packed. Best kept secret in South Tampa.

I was able to get seen here today. I listed all my symptoms, PA Faust decided to get me tested for Covid, Strep and Mono for my swollen tonsils. Picked up my prescription at Walgreens. The nurses were really caring and efficient in the procedures they did. Overall I had a great visit and felt taken care of. Thank you!

I am so grateful that this Urgent Care was open the day after a Tropical Storm! My intake was done by a wonderful MA named Glo, and the provider Komal took excellent care of me as well. Again, thank you for being open today- I am beyond appreciative.

Did not have a good experience. They attempted to draw my blood 4 times - unsuccessful each time. The NP Jacqueline did not even come help the medical assistants after they had tried 4 times. They also forgot to give me my booster shot until I reminded them at check out. I’m a practicing physician who needed immediate attention after a needle incident and they wanted to charge my insurance for lab fees instead of going through workers comp. Simply unprofessional and inexperienced if you need your blood work done. I went to a different urgent care after and had my blood taken at first attempt and said I was an easy case

Got me in quickly with no appointment and took care of my back pain immediately which was a relief!!. Dr knew and evaluated properly and explained to me in detail what was wrong and gave me follow up advise. I would highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

While pregnant with our first child, I had the worst nausea imaginable and was anxious about if I was affecting the growth of our child. I was feeling even more so under the weather and decided to get checked out. PA Komal was incredibly kind, patient and made me feel heard as a patient. She was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain to me what my options were and what medications were safe for me to take. She definitely helped quiet my anxiety and get back to feeling better.

I went with my wife to this urgent care and they took great care of her. Gloria was very professional and quick. Brooke was very kind to my wife and answered all the questions we asked. Would go again!

Overall the visit was good. Time in and out of the clinic was quick, staff was friendly and helpful. A small word of advice to Anna and the staff is that the walls are paper thin. It was rather unprofessional to hear the unflattering words said about me as a patient. I had a minor strep throat, but in the case somebody had a more serious issue I would rather not want to hear them talk poorly about me down the hall.

All staff were superb! I was able to get a much needed appointment within a hour and wait time was minimal. PA Patel has great bedside manner. I live in Atlanta and definitely know if I am ever sick again I will be coming to A+. Thanks again...

Stopped by here to get something for a cold and the team was exceptional. Great people. Friendly, fast and efficient. I waited in the car and completed the paperwork. I waited until they were ready and then went right in to the room. I highly recommend this location. Kudos to Cameron, the PA who did a great job and Nezia.

You are welcomed from the front door to end of appt. All participants in my care were attentive and good about a timely appointment.I have used this location 3times and been very happy with care and aftercare.

There was $240 billed to my insurance for a provider that spent less than 10 minutes with me in the patient room, seemed like she was lost in terms of what she was doing and just sent some messages to the pharmacy. Never conveyed a formal diagnosis to me, just seems like she was giving her Best Guess. Overall, I wouldnt reccomend anyone visit here for a thorough medical examination, unless youd like to make another generous donation to these urgent care facilities. I had a great experience with A+ YEARS AGO, which is why I returned when I wasnt feeling well and I was looking for an urgent care; but after their previous work vs. the outstanding BILL, I will NEVER be back, nor will I reccomend anyone come here either.

I always have a great experience when I need to go to see urgent care and I always choose this practice. For myself and my kids. Never disappointed. I feel heard and always get the proper treatment plan! Komal Patel was very nice and made my visit quick and effective.

We visited this walk-in clinic for a school physical and waited for 2 hours and 20 minutes. The staff was unorganized and uncommunicative. This inefficiency and lack of consideration for patients time are unacceptable.

Love this place (when my family is under the weather)! Usually in and out in about and hour. Everytime we go, they test for the right things and get us the meds we need to get over our illness quickly.

My family and I have frequented this urgent care for years and have continued to return because of that reason.Dr. Patel has patched me and my family members up more times than I can count. On vacation driving home with a terribly long drive. I called to see if they would check my son’s temperature so I could see if we needed to make an appointment. They said yes. We drove there and then they wouldn’t help us. Just ridiculous.

This urgent care is the best. They set the standard for others in their line of work to follow. I end up in here once a month it seems and every time i do, Komal Patel and her team always provide the best of everything. Top tier in every way! Do not go anywhere else. They are absolute life savers!

I’ve been to urgent care clinics where I was not taken seriously and my symptoms were ignored but here, they listened to me and addressed all of my concerns. I was also seen very quickly and the clinic is very clean and the online registration and booking process is simple and accessible. Prices are transparent and extremely reasonable. I wanted to leave a review for this place just to share my appreciation for their staff. I’m a young black woman and often find myself not feeling validated or taken care of in a medical setting. That was not the case here, I definitely felt taken care of and heard. They took their time to educate me on my problem as well as offer a solution to help. That alone was appreciated. I live all the way in Riverview and would gladly drive here again in the future!

A+ Urgent is my go-to urgent care. Making an appointment is easy through the website, I never have to wait for a long time, I love how I can hang out in my car till a room is ready and the staff is amazing. I feel comfortable with the staff and I feel like they really listen to the problems I come in with.

As another stated, best urgent care in South Tampa, hands down! All the staff are awesome (shout out to the front desk folks!) Dr. Patel takes the time to properly diagnose and educate on your treatment options - I truly cannot thank you all enough!

Scheduled appt on website stating I needed an x-ray and after I was put in room was then told we dont have x-ray. Then given referral to get x-ray from company closed on weekends. So on way home I had to put car in park at every light and stop sign because foot I needed x-ray on hurt worse and ace bandage they wrapped foot with started slipping off. The steroid pack they called in and said would stop pain is still sitting at pharmacy because I cant drive to pick it up. They said my blood pressure was way high, wonder how high it is now? First do no harm has become optional. So angry my hands are shaking. Website still says they do x-rays, false advertising in my opinion or just lying to charge my insurance company for office visit and ace bandage. When you leave in more pain then when you went in, not a good sign.

There is no patient privacy, you walk up to the window and they yell out what are you here for? So i had to tell them my embarrassing health issue, with all the people in the wait room listening. Then when I fill out the paperwork they call me to rhe back and ask the same questions!

The Lead PA Komal Patel was kind, patient, and understanding when removing a piece of glass from my foot. The procedure was painless and she talked me through the entire thing. Everyone, including the nurse who administered my tetanus shot, was always smiling and making sure I felt comfortable. 10/10 recommend A+ Family Urgent Care for a team that prioritizes your well being!

I just visited A+ Family Urgent Care for the first time. The facility is so clean and organized. I was very impressed by the professionalism of all the associates I encountered. From the MAs at the front desk, to the PA who took care of my daughter, everyone was welcoming and thorough. I will definitely be back here!

Google says they closed at 10pm, the sign outside says they closed at 10pm, but we got there at 9:20, and they tell me by policy they can see us and I asked why, and she said its just policy so I asked her to send me the policy, and she refuses several times until she told me she is busy right now, and she is not gonna send it to me. Then she has the nerve to tell me to go to Riverview 45 mins from here. I will suggest fixingyour hours online because you make people like me whom work until late to lose their time. Your customer service is a joke every single question i asked was either avoid, answered with an I dont know or its just policy.

I will give 5 stars because the Assistant/Radiology Tech, Alberto and the PA Komal are wonderful. Professional and communicative, they made me feel at ease and they were patient and knowledgeable.However in retrospect, I did have a bit of an issue with check in because Ive never been to a doctor for a work injury before and that is what my visit was for but the front desk just asked for my insurance card, ID and a payment method for my copay.Had I known I shouldnt have paid up front because my injury happemed at work I wouldnt have paid or submitted my visit to my insurance, I do wish the front desk clerk would have informed me on what to do, I did tell her I just got hurt at work; other than that error at the front desk I would absolutely go back to A+, everyone was friendly and helpful.

Went in with an abscess and was seen by James Hooper, PA. He was absolutely wonderful, Not only did he explain what he was going to do, but went step by step as he was performing the procedure and ensured I was comfortable the entire time. All the staff there are extremely kind and helpful. Will recommend to everyone. Thank you

I went in late to get antibiotics for my teeth that were infected and they were great! They helped me out with paperwork so I could be seen right when I got there, they took me even though they were closing soon, and made sure I had what I needed to get me through until I could see my dentist. I highly recommend going here, the staff was very helpful and attentive.

The place is THE BEST!!! Had persistent cough that just wouldn’t go away. Got an appointment the same day, staff was very friendly and professional. Diagnosed as bacterial bronchitis. RX called in to our pharmacy. Started feeling better in just a few days. If you are apprehensive about seeing a doctor…. Go here!!!

Absolutely the best urgent care around. I frequent this urgent care for any and all of my needs. The doctors, nurses, and other staff are quick to address my needs and offer assistance. They are professional and caring and genuinely good at their jobs. I had an incident in which I needed an ambulance and the nurses and doctors stood by me and calmed me down until the ambulance arrived. I could not be more grateful for all that they have done (and continue to do) for me.

I had no insurance and needed to be seen quick as I had bad ear pain. The receptionist was nice and quickly got my info in and i only waited for 5 minutes before seeing the doctor. The nurse quickly came to take my vitals and let me know what was next. Then Dr Komal was able to see the issue and prescribed me some meds to assist the infection. She was detailed in her diagnosis and made us feel like we were being seen by a friend. This office rocks, thank you!

I was so unbelievably impressed with this office. I made my appointment online and they actually kept my appointment. So many offices do not honor your time. I was attended to quickly and the staff really listened to me. I finally felt heard and taken care of. I will say, this is the best urgent care facility I have ever been to. This is a great urgent care. As we all know going to urgent care can be a headache, here at A+ the staff makes the process quick and easy. I scheduled an appointment and was in & out in 40 minutes. Everyone was super friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help. Courtney even called me after my visit to ensure that the remedies were working. Great service

One of the most pleasant urgent care visits I have ever experienced. I felt seen and heard from start to finish. When one is already feeling sick or in enough pain to have to go to an urgent care, one expects to be treated with empathy and compassion. And this urgent care was great. The prices are amazing. Especially when you are self pay. Thank you for your treatment and care.

I highly recommend Dr. Komal Patel & this urgent care practice.I opted to call ahead and they had an appointment available within an hour and a half (alternately, you can walk in ). They were open on a holiday. 👍🏼The front desk and medical assistant are very friendly (thank you Gabby!). They explain rates beforehand. The in-office process is extra quick if you do the paperwork before hand. I was brought to a room almost immediately and saw the Dr. in minutes.Dr. Patel is fantastic, you may wish she could be your PCP. She’s knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. She made sure I understood how to take the antibiotic (with food but not with vitamins…) which I had honestly forgotten.Anyhoo, she made me feel comfortable and took her time even with my minor issue.I would absolutely recommend this clinic if you need an urgent care in South Tampa.I was in & out in 20 minutes!

I cant say enough about this urgent care. Ive had my fair share of urgent care visits and Ive never been to a kinder, more efficient place! I had just gotten off work and needed to be seen ASAP to get cleared before I went scuba diving. They miraculously had enough time to squeeze me in, everything was thoroughly explained to me, and you could tell the staff really cared! They were so personable and I was in and out of there in no time! THANK YOU A+! You truly were A+!!!

Komal Patel, PA-C is wonderful and her staff goes above and beyond to get you in and out effortlessly. I have reoccurring tonsillitis, and she knew exactly what I needed. My prescription was sent to the pharmacy before I even left, and was ready in an hour. Within 24 hours, my tonsils are not touching and can swallow again. Will be going back to her for any walk in type appointment, the price was also the best. I found out once I was there my insurance wasnt accepted, and STILL was the best price in town. Thank you Ms. Patel and your team!

This is the best urgent care in the area by far. They have fair prices even if you don’t have health insurance, their doctors are knowledgeable and kind. I’ve never had an issue with long waits here either like other urgent cares in the area. Last time I visited for a minor issue I was in and out of here within an hour which to me, is ideal. I would recommend anyone go here, health insurance or not!

I love this Urgent care! They are very quick and very efficient. The doctors and nurse practitioners are amazing they treat you very kind and are very well trained. One of the doctors prescribed my daughter a cough medication in which it stops the triggering of the cough. My daughter suffers from chronic asthma in which when she’s sick it’s very bad and I am very happy that the doctor gave her this medication because it finally worked. Dr. Patel, Dr. Robinson, Dr.Cameron and many more doctors at this location are amazing! I have been seen at this urgent care for many years now and I have never had a bad experience. The practitioners who did my vitals and mild physical were kind. The one that gave me my medical papers was acting as if she didn’t want to be in my vicinity. Idk what her issue was and then they had me as a male in the system. Claiming that the system does it to everyone and but I took offense especially seeing me in person knowing good and well. Experience was a ok. That’s it. It’ll get the job done.

This was my first time visiting the office and had an amazing experience. I was dreading going and the PA, Komal Patel made me feel extremely comfortable. She went above and beyond to address all of my concerns. The nurse that I saw/other staff were very polite and welcoming as well! Very easy walk in appointment, got me in right away. In and out. Had Kidney Stone. Needed medication to help pass it without dying. I have health insurance. $10 copay for urgent care. Courteous and prompt. Clean facility. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

The doctors and staff are ALWAYS kind and professional. They really listen and treat you like a person, not like some number they need to cross off their list so they can rush on to the next number. Moreover, they run that place very efficiently. Whenever I make appointments, change appointments, check-in, check-out, pay, etc, it is ALWAYS smooth and hassle free. Whenever I get sick, I actually drive 45 minutes out of my way just to go there because the experience is effortless and I know I will be properly cared for. 10 out of 5 stars.

Very friendly and professional staff!Updated in December 2021Every time I’ve come to this clinic I’ve had great experiences despite if I was unwell. Everyone is so kind and professional. They are also very personal and help reassure you about things. My main nurse/medical assistant was Dante. And he was super sweet and made me feel very comfortable! The PA was great too and was very informative (I forgot his name)

I have visited this office twice so far, and had an excellent experience both times. The Physician Associate (PA), Ms. Patel, was extremely knowledgeable and empathetic. Her passion for medicine is highly evident in her bedside manner. She went beyond standard measures to ensure that my concerns were addressed, and spoke to me personally several times via phone. I especially appreciated her patience and assistance with finding an alternative medication that was not available at my pharmacy.In addition, the wait time was very minimal and the entire process was streamlined from check in to check out. Katrina, PA, and Anastasya, the medical assistant, were spectacular. I’ve managed urgent cares for over 6 years and under the struggle of keeping people motivated through the end of a long day. My daughter began complaining of an earache and my husband and I got off work late. We came quite late to the clinic expecting to be met with some resistance over it being so late. Ana registered me quickly over the phone without hesitation. She gave me detailed instructions on the portal and set clear expectations. Once we were inside, we were met with kind demeanors with our sick kids and taken care of very quickly. Katrina Black looked thorough at both of our kids and had our meds sent over before we touched the door handle. The entire experience was excellent. We had a rough night by it was made infinitely better by the way these two young ladies assisted us. Thank you for all you do!

I was floored by how wonderful the staff at A+ Urgent Care were! Mireya O. was a wonderful nurse, and a welcome start to a miserable situation first thing in the morning with a sick child.Komal Patel provided our care and she was outstanding! She talked and listened to my 7 year-old, and was just amazing. I cannot praise her enough for her wonderful care and compassion. Im so glad I was able to easily book an appointment and get the paperwork filled online.I cannot recommend them enough.

This is now my go-to urgent care. Ive never been to an urgent care with such reasonable prices and a transparent pay scale. On top of that, I did not spend 60% of my time sitting around waiting in an emtpy room. The care I received was excellent, and I really couldnt ask for more. I will recommend this urgent care to anyone I know in need.I will say that I was a little confused by the in-car waiting room, but some of that confusion could be attributed to how sick I was! You want to go on their website and make an appointment (they had lots of time slots available when I went) and then be there on time. There are signs posted, follow the instructions. Just make sure they know youre there waiting and theyll get you in quick! You wait in your car and they call you when you can go in.

Had a wonderful experience with my 2 1/2 year old at A+ Urgent Care. Cameron the nurse practitioner and Anna the MA we wonderful with my son who had an ear infection. The office was clean, they were quick and efficient. Best of all they are open the latest in S Tampa.

These guys were absolutely fantastic. I came in a couple nights ago with a bad throat infection, and in the worst mood. They were fast, moved us all along efficiently, and they couldn’t have been more friendly. Special thanks to Cameron for taking the time to figure out what was going on with me and the best actions moving forward. He is super friendly and professional. Great group of people in this office.

Very kind and patient with my Autistic child, we go here before his primary just because of how well they are with him. One time he wouldn’t go inside to the back room because he was scared, the doctor performed a wellness check on him right in the waiting room, so patient and willing to help. Love how comfortable they make him. Most people would turn him away. They are also quick and have the best urgent care prices around.

Don’t look anywhere else but here, Komal Patel is the best! I see her over my primary care because she is so good. I’ve been here twice in a month and she always knows exactly what to do and how to get my symptoms to subside and what to prescribe. Flat fee to be seen without insurance is 89$ which to get my symptoms to subside and get back to normal is a drop in the bucket in my opinion, well worth it and affordable.

They require online paperwork but it didnt save my profile even though I got a confirmation text and the front desk staff was rude. They treated my daughter with a liquid steroid and it worsened her condition. We had to go to the dermatologist the following day and put her on a topical solution which this facility refused to do. I wont be going back.

They are awesome here!! The staff truly cares And makes sure you get the best treatment possible. Dr. Komal Patel is the best and such a nice person with a great attitude. Everyone was extremely helpful. I honestly wish she was my primary dr!

Great experience with A+ Urgent Care. They have a smooth and efficient process for check in and my wait was minimal. The staff and my NP were phenominal. Although i have to drive 35 mins to get there, i will only come to this location in the future. If you want quality medical care, come to this A+ Family Urgent Care location.

I was surprised by how nice and helpful the nurse and doctor were. They were very professional, and they actually seemed to care to try to figure out what was wrong with me by asking tons of questions and checking me everywhere necessary. I went to A+ Family Urgent Care last night after struggling with a persistent COVID infection with some lingering symptoms. All I can say about this practice is that they are A1! The facility is run very smoothly and Dr. Robinson listened to all of my concerns, did a thorough exam and sent me home with the appropriate medications. I did not feel like I was in a clinic and felt like she really listened to me, which is so important for doctors to do nowadays. You can make an appointment online and their hours are great. The staff were all wonderful as well. I will always go to them when I need to go to an urgent care facility in the future. I highly recommend them.

I came in a bit stressed because of pain I was experiencing. The staff was very very friendly, by the time I left I felt like I had known everyone in the walk in clinic forever. Recently moved to the south Tampa area and went to the clinic because I couldn’t book an early appointment with my regular doctor. Had Komal Patel and she was WONDERFUL. Answered all my questions, checked every single box for what could’ve been causing my discomfort and sent me out with treatment (to my pharmacy of preference) and the promise to call with my test results. Two days later I got the call from the clinic. The entire staff was so friendly and hospitable, made me feel comfortable sharing any and all concerns I had. 10/10 would recommend.

This is the best urgent care I’ve been too. Defeats the “urgent care stereotype”. The employees are extremely nice, and I haven’t waited in the lobby longer than 10 mins.

Great Urgent care! My appointment was on-time and I was in and out in an hour including the 15 min for my rapid test results. The staff is great and the PA, Komal Patel, who saw me even took a follow up call the next morning after I had some questions. Usually medical visits like this take 3 hours out of my day and the service is not as good. You get an A+ from me.

How is this my first visit here? So close to home and SO quick. Made an appointment in the morning for the afternoon on the same day which you could never manage to do at any other clinic right now. Was seen for my sore throat by the PA Komal Patel and she was amazing! So sweet and very informative. Also very reasonably priced if paying out of pocket! My whole visit took less than an hour. I drove 2 hours in search of an urgent care center that took my plan and am happy that I did because I ended here. The building looks like it hasnt been remodeled since the 90s, but ignore all that because the service you get is excellent. The PA was patient yet assertive and made me feel like she was genuine and professional. I recommend this urgent care without a second thought.

Better experience than I ever thought I would have! The staff was very friendly and fast. I was in and out with in 30 mins. Komal Patel was above and beyond helpful! She was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Also very insightful and helpful! Their staff called me two days later to check up on me and see how I was feeling. I don’t think I have ever had a doctor office do that! Will definitely be back! Thanks to this office I was able to get antibiotics on a Sunday night and feeling much better two days later.

The staff here is incredible. If you have any injury that isn’t life threatening, this is by far the best place to go. I had a pretty gnarly slice on my hand and they stitched me up in less than half the time I waited at the hospital. My wound is looking great now considering it was in a tricky spot. They also checked up on me multiple times after my appointment to make sure I was doing okay. 10/10 would recommend!!

Our appointment was for earlier this morning. Weve been waiting in our car for over 45 minutes now. The level of customer service that weve received has been at best...sub-par. I called to check when they will be ready to see us and was told to make an appointment for another day if we can not wait. Whats the point of making an appointment? It is 95 degrees outside, Im with my sick children and they expect us to wait in our car for hours on end? A+? I visited here on Thursday October 18th. I saw Jennifer Collins and her staff. I cant say 1 bad thing about them from the time I walked through the door. Every single person I encountered was friendly, caring, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were genuine and professional. I honestly wish the were my PCP. Jennifer Made sure to check every single possibility in order to rule out any major issues before she released me. I have never had an experience like I had here. I’m giving a 4 because I had to wait a while for the dr to come in. And I was put in the hottest room in the building with a fever feeling like I was about to pass out. But the care was great and once they did come see me it was fast, thorough and empathetic. So nice and communication was great! Only had to have a Covid test done. After all was said and done in was in there about a hour long. Which isn’t awful normal. Thank you tho for everything. I would recommend your office to anyone needing UC in the future and for my family 💙

This is the best place to go if you don’t have insurance! They explain prices up-front (like as soon as you walk in the door AND if you call ahead). Brennan* was a super kind and helpful person that answered the phone when I called. Annette was one of the best PAs I’ve ever seen. She was very personable and didn’t make me feel like a bother or like she didn’t have time to examine me. I got x-rays on my foot and a knee injury examined and was in and out within an hour. They even let me have a copy of my X-ray to commemorate my first fracture. Masks were worn by everyone inside and social distancing was enforced effectively. Patients waited in their cars rather Han in a waiting room, which was great for someone like me who lives with at-risk family. Thank you so much for existing!

I recently moved to the area and had to bring my wife to a nearby urgent care center. I was dreading it on the way because my past urgent care experiences have not been all that great. This time however we were very surprised. The staff was extremely nice and the care that my wife Emily received was outstanding. I went to A+ Family Urgent Care after being treated for strep throat at another facility only to have it come back! Komal Patel was amazing! So patient, thorough, and understanding! The facility was clean and both Komal and her MA were properly suited, protected, and I felt very safe and at ease. I will definitely be coming back and I’m so grateful for their care and kindness!

After being turned away by two urgent cares, After Hour Pediatrics bc they didnt have enough staff and Baycare bc they were closing in 15min and the provider chose not to see my 3year old daughter, A+ Family Urgent Care more than exceeded my expectations. Leah was able to get us into the room within 20min of signing in and Katrina Black, PA-C was efficient, compassionate, and thorough. I was in and out with my sick 3 year old within the hour. I am so grateful for these ladies and what they do, particularly this Saturday evening. Thank you again, shes already feeling much better. This place is great! Komal Patel is probably the best medical professional I have encountered so far. She is understanding, patient (no rush explaining your issue) and was both times that I went there spot on with her diagnosis (and treatment plan). The staff is always courteous and nobody can beat the prices for the non-insured.

Hi- i was treated yesterday and daughter as well. It was a wait for 2 hrs but it was ok because there were alot of people ahead of me. The staff was caring and respectful. I was seen by the PA Michael Hoard and he was amazing, he listened to everything my daughter and i said including the back history on why we were there. He has been one of the best PA and/or doctor that ive seen in my life that can listen, and treat you very well. This is my second time going there and the clinic was very clean, so THANK YOU!!!! 👌🏻

The reception staff were very inappropriate. I dont know if they had no idea that I could hear every conversation they had, but regardless they should never be talking about patients at an audible level. They were laughing about the people who called, saying how ridiculous their requests were, talking about how one thinks they have COVID, and even repeating my issues to each other (and not even with the correct facts I had said). I believe I was the only patient there, with an appointment, and still had to wait for a while in between getting examined, getting Xrays, etc, all the while I could hear the staff joking around. The PA was knowledgeable and friendly, but the rest of the staff should know to keep their conversations to themselves. I wouldnt come back.UPDATE: The manager took the time to personally call me and get more information about my complaint, which I sincerely appreciated. Judging off all the other great reviews, I truly believe this was a fluke, and an off-day for them, and I feel assured he will address with the employees to keep their conversations both appropriate, and not audible to patients. I would consider coming back, knowing this is not typical for the business.

The experience was awesome from checking in with Kayla, her screening my two kids, and with PA Patel explaining everything in detail. Definitely will be back!

This urgent care is amazing! So convenient to be able to make an appointment online, especially since many urgent cares no longer offer this with Covid. The staff is so helpful and friendly and this last time we were in and out within an hour. Cannot say enough positive things about A+!

We arrived at A+Family Urgent Care on N. Dale Mabry last evening at 9:40 p.m. The staff was pleasant, helpful and very kind. I was seen right after I registered. The PA was exceptional. She covered all of our concerns and made recommendations on how to reduce the pain. They also called in a prescription to the local pharmacy which was open until 11pm so I was able to get my prescription last event. Thank you very much to P.A. Patel, Cameron and Maria. You were all so very helpful and we are very grateful we went to your facility.

Made appointment for my mom who is having respiratory distress and whose own doctor would not see her before August 30 today is July 16 and suggested we go to TGH ER absolutely not found this place and I don’t have a bit of regret made an appointment for 1130 they were timely took excellent care of my mom and walked her back out to the car when they were finished thank you all so much!Update:I do not understand why insurance requires me to have a primary Dr when said Dr is not available for weeks to see me when I am sick. I am so thankful to Caroline and PA Black for all the care they gave me. I will continue to use this particular location in the future. And, the fees paid were less than the cost for my own Dr visit.

First class facility and staff! This is the best Urgent Care/Walk-In facility hands down! The administrative staff were pleasant and helpful in spite of me being uncomfortable and in pain they went out of their way to help me in EVERY ASPECT! That is not an exaggeration they opened doors, helped fill out paperwork, anything and everything they could to help make the experience better and help me be more comfortable! Then from a medical aspect Jennifer Collins, P.A. and the M.A.s that were treating the cut on my hand were very knowledgeable and patient with me and my injury. When I called and then came in it was less than 30 minutes from their closing time but they still encouraged me to come in, even though it would most certainly mean they would stay late. The office was busy when I came in but they tried everything they could and stayed long past their scheduled closing time to make sure that they offered me every possible opportunity to stop the bleeding and go home comfortably instead of going to the Emergency Room (which would have been my next stop)! They did that because they knew I was self-pay and wanted to try everything to avoid a costly ER bill for me!!! Speaking of prices they were extremely affordable. So much more reasonable then I was expecting and considering how much they did for me and the amount they saved me from spending this was one of the smartest decisions I have made and it saved me literally THOUSANDS of dollars!

A+ Family Urgent Care truly makes you feel like part of the fam! Mrs. Komal Patel PA-C really cares about her patients and did an incredibly good job at making my visit comfortable. It will save you ton of time and headache compared to any general hospital.

The facility was clean. The doctor was amazing and she cared about my visit. Cant say the same about the nurse that took my vitals and did my xray. The nurse seemed bothered by the fact that she had to help me. She even took her time coming to the door to let me in the building. Again, the doctor was great but the nurse needs coaching on how to be caring towards patients.

I walked in right before close on a Sunday. Caroline and Hannah were very accommodating. I had a large cut above my left eye. These two worked delicately and gracefully to suture the wound. I highly recommend this urgent care facility and will be returning if I have future medical issues.

My entire experience was fantastic. I was seen by Komal the PA-C. Her bedside manner was top notch. The visit was quick and I was able to pick up my medicine right after the visit.

Went here twice as my symptoms didnt go away after my first visit and round of antibiotics. During my second visit, it was the same series of questions and forms as my first. And of course, when my second set of test results came in-they still didnt have any further information. So there went $100 in copay for nothing. Furthermore, scheduling an appointment online not only defeats the purpose of a walk-in clinic, but it also isnt effective. I understand that with Covid-19 different protocols have to be followed...however ,even with an appointment youll still be asked to wait in your car for 20 or so minutes. My only positives is that the staff was fairly friendly & that I now know better than to return.

I dont plan to get hurt and I DEFINITELY dont budget to get hurt, and when I skinned my palms after a fall on my rollerblades, I truly argued with myself about how to skip the doctor visit. Other urgent cares in south tampa have been a total headache for me so I was slightly panicking when I realized I wasnt going to be able to clean myself up. I honestly felt really alone and in pain. THIS OFFICE IS WHERE YOU NEED TO GO! Leah at the front desk started making moves immediately while Dante helped me sign in...the whole time he was sharing rollerblade stories and helping me laugh at how embarrassed I was over the whole entire situation. My Insurance wasnt working and I didnt have the hard copy on me (and again I DO NOT budget for sickness and injury..lesson learned) however, they gave me solution after solution until we found a way that works

A truly caring group of people work at this Urgent Care! The wait time was only minutes and the staff went above and beyond to tend to my issue including great follow-up days later....I highly recommend! The 2 doctors that I met over 2 visits were both knowledgeable and pro-active (to avoid a worse future infection)! Fees were more than reasonable!

I am so happy my daughter found this urgent care. They are so very nice! They have perfect Covid measures in place! I appreciated PA Komal Patel. She gave me a great understanding of what was going on with my granddaughter, from personal experience also, which made me feel so much better.

Staff was very nice and Dr Komal was AWESOME. She listened very well to my medical history and symptoms and gave me several medical tips beyond the normal care of most doctors. Easy to talk to and she demonstrated a thorough understanding of my medical issue!

Komal Patel PA-C is THE BEST! I will head to A+ and hope she is there whenever we need urgent care. She is kind, caring, and thorough! I had pretty bad finger laceration and need stitches. I was seen in no time and pay way less than expected. 100% recommend.

Recommend, very nice and helpful. I took my child here, treated my child with so much care. They also checked up a couple days after the appointment to make sure my child was ok. Maneuvered us in and out in a timely manner. Doctor was Great with diagnosing and child doing wonderful ❤️

I saw Komal Patel, PA who is excellent, patient and very careful in advising medications, prescriptions and diagnosis. The facility is very clean and staff quite organized when bringing patients in so there is no exposure to others during Covid pandemic. Best thing is you leave with a complete summary of visit, plan of care, summary of instructions which is amazing for a quick emergency visit. My drugstore had already texted me prescription was ready by the time I got back to my car.

Love this place! The staff are so kind friendly and compassionate. They treat you like a human not a number. I felt cared for every step of the way and informed during the procedure. Even being busy I was still given undivided attention. Every staff member was awesome but I have to give an extra special to Komal for taking a personal intetest in my well being. She went above and beyond.

Brooke and the rest of the staff were incredibly patient and kind. More urgent care clinics should treat people this well.

Kimberly and Katie were absolutely phenomenal caretakers. They were patient and understanding because Im definitely a big baby when it comes to self care. I even allowed Katie to give me two shots! Wasnt bad at all. Even though I was crying about it. Kimberly took thorough care of my needs and explained everything. I was in and ou . There was hardly any waiting time. Im grateful they took just good care of me!

On Saturday Dec 7th, I walked in the office to get stitches removed in my foot. Cathy got me ready in the exam room and Annette took my stitches out. Both ladies were super professional and kind. They both made me feel at ease with the knowledge they had about my ‘foot’s’ nerve problem. I would highly recommend this clean office, filled with competent, caring people.

Have been coming for small emergencies and every time it’s in and out. Great staff with amazing personalities. PA Komal Patel Has been the best. Wish she could be my primary PA. Always nice and smiling. Wouldn’t recommend any other Urgent clinic than this one!!!

Me and my partner have seen Dr. Komal many times over the past few years and she’s great! She’s very personable and because of her we prefer A+ to any of the other Urgent Cares in the area.

Great staff, the provider there Patel made sure I was okay and definitely wowed me with excellence and compassion in a great time of need. I highly recommend her care and the facility for any health care need , being a professional customer service provider myself, I stand by this facility, Patel, and the staff completely!

Kimberly Frack was amazing! She did a thorough examination I didn’t know what I had the flu, bronchitis, or strep or just a cold and some other issues related to sexual activity and she was caring. I didn’t feel like I was pressured on a diagnosis or felt pressured at all like I’ve experienced at other urgent cares. The front staff were very sweet too and didn’t look like they hated their jobs. Most importantly I am self pay and this was the most affordable urgent care I’ve ever been to! I am very appreciative of this since I don’t have insurance and am very low on funds currently. I just really appreciate an all around caring staff. The wait wasn’t long either. My only regret is that I didn’t buy my medication here versus CVS it came out $15 more at CVS.

Everything was awesome! Totally affordable!! Easy process, you call, a person answers (not a machine) and you just walk in. I came in at 7 months pregnant and with flu/bronchitis symptoms feeling like I was gonna die. Got seen quick, came back Influenza A positive and I am already feeling much better only a day after my visit. Thank you so much!! Great attention, quick and affordable.

Everything about this facility is flawless. They’re so kind and caring and willing to adapt to their patients. This is a great urgent care! Pick a time slot on their website and just call them when you arrive. Ive been at least 4 times now and they are professional, fast at getting you into a room at your appointment time and take the time necessary to get you the proper care. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

So I came in late night as they were about to close and they got me in quick and served me. I had a giant cut on my lip and they stitched me up quickly. All thanks to my girls Caroline and Hannah, they blessed me up and got me looking right. I had a nice conversation with the two of them so the stitch job felt fast. They also got a good sense of humor.

Komal Patel, PA-C and Marya (I hope I spelled this correctly) were timely, professional, and compassionate. In Tampa I dont have a PCP but with A+ Family Urgent Care located within a mile of my South Tampa home I know now where to go for urgent care. The online booking was user friendly, and the private/cash pay fees are market rates. Of note, if you do have more than reason to see a provider the office visit fee does increase and this is not listed on the website. Additionally, some labs are run in-house and other are sent to LabCorp. Thank you for great care!

Great quick service. Really nice to set the appointment online so that you dont need to wait. Excellent care team, the PA really took her time to listen and ask questions. I loved that they have an in house pharmacy; made everything so convenient!

I had a great experience here. I managed to cut to top of my finger and the skin was hanging on by a thread. Doc Robinson sewed me up with 7 sutures🪡....Aicha was the medical assistant who was helpful and reassured me as the doc bandaged my wound. I have to go back in 2 weeks to get the sutures removed.Hopefully Im healed up by then...

I went to TGH first and made an appointment hoping that I wouldnt have to wait long with my toddler. The wait was still going to be an hour and a half they told me WITH an appointment. I then made an appointment at A+ Family Urgent Care. These people were so kind and caring!!! They got me in and out very fast too!! TOTAL DIFFERENCE from TGH! I will never go anywhere else again. Thank you for being so kind to me and taking care of me when I felt horrible and still had to be a mama at the same time! Yall took really good care of me! I am already feelin a little better this morning with the antibiotics and steroid treatment! : ) Stay Kind!

My go-to center for any medical care in Tampa. As a student I only ever went to a doctor when I was *really* sick, so sometimes going to a large doctors office or university health center wasnt an option due to long wait times or inconvenient appointments. A+ never has wait times, the staff are always professional and helpful, and they only order tests or labs that are actually needed (not ever just because) given any scenario. Also Komal Patel PA-C has the best energy!

Dr. Cameron was so nice and very receptive to all my issues and was able to assess things quickly and kindly. The PA that booked me and initially talked to me was super friendly and listened to all my concerns, asking all great questions. Great staff and great experience.

We have been to A+ several times now. Flu testing, stitches for a cut, and a sports physical. They are always friendly and professional.

I developed a rash, and while it was nothing major, it was VERY itchy, and I couldn’t get into my primary care physician, so I used the online appointment system to schedule a visit at A+. I was seen quickly, and the staff members were friendly and professional. They administered treatment, handled my insurance, called in an RX to my pharmacy, and followed up within a few days. I was pleased with the entire experience, from booking to follow up!

I had an emergency late last night and needed stitches in my foot. I called 20 mins before Family Urgent Care closed and Brayton (CFO/COO) answered and informed me that they could help. He greeted me when I arrived and got me into a room right away. Hannah (PA-C) and Cathy (MA) immediately assisted and got me stitched up in no time. I was back home within the hour. They were extremely kind, professional, informative and fast! I would highly recommended them, I know I’ll be back again!
