Horrible horrible horrible. If I could give him negative stars I would. He was recommended by my PCP because I’m new to the area and it was one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a doctor. I told him about my symptoms and without even asking anything he said it was caused by my weight and that I needed to take birth control. I told him that I didn’t want to because it could interact with my medications and he told me that was the only option and sent me a year worth of refills to the pharmacy. He didn’t do a vaginal exam, he didn’t ask about what medications I was taking and he didn’t even sent me to get an ultrasound. Now I’m with a new gynecologist and she is the best. She found out what was wrong and even told me that the birth control could have made my condition way worst that it already is.

Dr. Rodriguez and his staff were simply amazing from beginning to end of my experience. They all made me feel so comfortable and never once did I feel nervous about my procedure. Dr. Rodriguez is very informative and took his time to answer any and every question I had. My recovery was outstanding and I have absolutely no complaints.

Dr. Rodriguez is the best GYN I’ve had so far. He is considerate of your personal/familial goals while also taking the time to be realistic in how to possibly attain them. He is great at educating his patients and giving them the attention they need. He is not controlling like many physicians you may encounter. Instead, he partners with his patients and shows that he truly cares for their overall well-being. One of my favorite things about Dr. Rodriguez is that he is not judgmental about anything, and he can be quite the character. I’ve recommended him over and over again to friends, and I truly believe he is one of the greatest in the area.

The doctor is Great. The office staff/Medixal group sucks. So if My review is only about the doctor, he has 5 stars. He has been treating me for 3 years. I am a patient with PCOS and had a Hysterectomy performed by Dr. Rodriguez. He takes his time with you and explains everything.Now I do warn you, the medical group office staff is not great. Waiting times are lengthy and getting a hold of someone is a challenge. But pass that, I still choose to come back because the doctor is worth it.Hopefully he moves from that medical group.

Dr. Rodriguez has been my OBGYN for over 20 years, I trust in his knowledge and his professionalism in the field. I love to refer all my family and friends to a doctor I completely trust ,his staff is always friendly very accommodating whenever I call. Would refer him 100x over again!!

I would recommend getting a second opinion if Dr. Rodriguez suggests you need surgery. He told me my situation was urgent and I needed a hysterectomy. He offered no other alternative. My situation was not urgent nor do I need a hysterectomy. Do your due diligence.

The best Gyn ever. I just met him to have my robotic hysterectomy. No complications and feel so nice after surgery.He takes time with you. He is so charming and confident that you will never feel like you are in a medical appointment. I will recomend this gyn for everybody who needs a real doctor.

This doctors office is absolutely horrendous. They are disorganized, messy, and dont care about their patients AT ALL.I had trouble finding the office so I called to get directions. The calls were forwarded to a directory line that could provide no help other than the address. They said they were not able to transfer my call to the direct office and that they would leave a message for the office to call me back ASAP. I called twice, having them leave two messages. Still no response from the actual office. After searching for 20 minutes, I FINALLY find the office, no thanks to the staff. BTW, Im hobbling around office centers down De Leon St. on crutches because of an injury.Dr. Rodriguezs office shares a suite with another doctors office. The secretary at the joint office brought me back to Dr. Rodriguezs section and explained how the doctor and the staff wasnt in but that I could sit and wait. The secretary to the other office left me completely alone in Dr. Rodriguezs office. Why would not a SINGLE employee be at the office during a clients scheduled appointment?! Literally I was completely alone in their office with all of their paperwork, documents, equipment, etc. I looked around and everything was a mess! Nothing was organized. Everything was scattered everywhere. I even saw what looked like clients samples sitting on the counter.My appointment was at 1:30pm. I waited in that room until 2:10pm before finally going back to the joint doctors office and asking them if they had any idea when Dr. Rodriguez would be in. They told me they had no affiliation with Dr. Rodriguezs office, but that she would try to call his personal line for me. No answer, of course. At this point, I finally left. It is now 6pm. Despite the 3 people I had call and leave messages with Dr. Rodriguez, I still havent received a call back.I have NEVER in my life seen such a disorganized and careless doctors office. They clearly dont want or care about their patients. Would NEVER recommend. Wish zero stars was an option.

I have never had this much difficulty trying to reach a doctors office!!! No one answers the phone, or emails. the after hours support can’t answer a simple question “Does the physician have a fax number?” I was going to be a new patient but after the poor communication or lack there of it is a sign for me to seek a different physician because this office IS NOT IT. The physician was highly referred by Consumer Medical , now I’m questioning their services. 🤔🤔 Please cancel my appointment.

I called to make a new patient appointment, but was put on hold for 45 minutes. When the receptionist finally answered the phone, he said that he was going to lunch and I would have to call back. I tried to call back the next day, but was put on hold for over half an hour before I hung up and never called back again.

Excellent gynecologist takes time to explain and listen to the patient, he has many years of experience and excellent staff as well the best in Tampa you coming with any problems or questions he will give to you all the correct answers and treatment I recommend it to the 100% bilingual to. Spanish English!!

Very upset with my visit today! First they made me wait in line for 15 minuets, when the people in the office was not doing anything. Then once they called me they tell me they do not take my insurance after I talked on the phone with a young lady who said they will. Wouldn’t recommend this place!!!

The best gynecologist in Tampa! Very kind, funny and above all he has the patience to explain things or the consequences to you. I arrived on a Thursday at 3:30pm with an inflammation of the gland. Bartolo gave me two medicines by Friday at 7am and I was already feeling 80%. Better recommended many very important points! Without a doubt I would recommend it 100%

He is undoubtedly the best gynecologist, I met him in 2018, he operated on me with the best recovery I have ever had, not to mention the treatment, dedication and professionalism, at that time he moved offices, he managed to solve my problem, now I am back With it, I put my health in it, but with my eyes closed, I recommend it to any woman, without a doubt the best.
