My experience with Dr brown was amazing. He is such a sweet and understanding person and his staff is great. My husband and I went to see him about 3/4 years ago on our journey to getting my tubes untied so that we could have a child. After about a year of finally deciding to go though with it, we had the surgery done in June of 2022. I then became pregnant that next January but miscarried and again in June and miscarried in July. But after careful planning we are happy to say that as of April 2024 I am now 13 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby boy due in Christmas day. We are so blessed and couldnt of done it without Dr brown and his amazing team. Thank you so much for all you do.

My wife and I have been patients of Brown Fertility over the past 3 years. My wife has had surgery, multiple IUIs and rounds of IVF. Although the results were not in our favor, we have always been very pleased with the overall experience provided. From the doctors to the office personnel and billing department, everyone was attentive, welcoming, and went above and beyond throughout our journey.The staff answered all our questions and explained each step of every procedure thoroughly. We visited the clinics in Orlando, Tampa, and Winter Garden, and had a great experience at all locations.We primarily worked with Lindsey and Dr. Duffy at the Tampa office, both of whom were outstanding. Although we have taken a break from our fertility journey, if we decide to return, we would not hesitate to work with Brown again.My wife and I highly recommend this office for their exceptional service and care.

Nita has been a wonderful experience to be seen!Makes me feel comfortable during blood draws and checking vitals.Lindsey who does the embryo trial transfer and checking the uterus has been very comforting as well.Lastly we can’t forget the receptionist her name is Taly, who I see in every appointment and is very welcoming early in the morning. Brown Fertility is definitely worth the 5 stars.

The absolute worst fertility clinic in Tampa. If you have diminished ovarian reserve, do not come here. The level of severity in which they pushed donor eggs was extremely uncomfortable. I told Dr. Cabrera at least 10 times I was not interested in donor eggs and he ignored me. The very next day I got a call from someone at Brown Fertility wanting to discuss donor eggs and my method of payment for donor eggs. I wouldn’t recommend anyone coming here unless you plan on receiving sub-par care and spending A LOT of money. They need to stop being predatory and pushing donor eggs on patients that DO NOT WANT them.

The clinic was very assertive and attentive to questions. In the first visit they told me exactly what I needed to do and began to set me up for blood work so we could know how to proceed. Throughout my time I’ve had 2 great coordinators. One of them was Brandy M! She was very nice and answered emails right away with any concerns I had. I recommend this clinic!

My overall experience was “ok” for the most part, the staff were really nice/respectful! Couple of concerns/dislikes I had though. First, I knew it was going to be a waste of time driving there due to them not really understanding why I was referred to them. Second, they didn’t accepting my BayCare Cigna Insurance.Third, the genetic testing that they make you do when you get called to the back and finding out afterwards that you will be charged for it.I normally read reviews before going to an important place/appointment like this and of course you have the good vs the bad but one particular review stood out to me where the person mentioned they will definitely make sure they collect something from you! That was absolutely true, so just be aware! And I also had a “Free New Patient Consultation” referral that my provider gave to me specifically for this location and yet still left being charged for something I had no idea about until after my appointment was over.

For a couples who wants to achieve a family…Brown Fertility its a place to go for it. For the amazing staff, compassionate care and the most wonderful experience. I was afraid on leave comments and reviews for here we go.Start with the front desk, she was so patient and attentive, nursing staff: Nitza, I can express how grateful I feel meting her, she is so professional, knows how to answer questions in a appropriate way even very clear, I named her angel hands, cause every time she needs to draw my blood I didnt notice. Also she helps in so many ways answering calls and emails in a timely manner, that a A+ for a staff.Now Lindsey, she and her assistant Nitza are the best team, always with the greatest attitude, professionalism and advocating for the patient need. The really listening you and your needs as a patient and not as other people mentioned in previous comments. For insurances issues I need to move to another clinic, but Im hoping getting back cause my experience at Brown was better than wonderful.Many medical offices need a staff like them. Cause they are very passionate on help people to achieve their family and the same time very competitive professionals. I hope they still there when I have the opportunity to return back.Best team and fertility clinic in Tampa Bay.

The operations manager in the Tampa location is the worse that lady veralys she treats her employees like complete garbage she lies to the paitients and loves talking about her personal life when the patients are being seen. I’ve been a patient of De.duffy for about 3 years and this lady seems to not being able to keep a team she had great employees in the year 2022 I went back January this year and almost non of the old employees where there I figured why if I was treated the way she treats her team I would’ve left to so sad to have this type of people in a business that is supposed to be welcoming instead I felt very disrespected.

Dr. Duffy is amazing. We have been through 2 IUIs and 3 transfers, with the third transfer resulting in twins. I felt supported and heard through the whole process.

Avoid Avoid Avoid ! The staff is extremely unaccommodating and will make every effort to avoid doing their job.Making an appointment? Theyll put you through to someone else, who will then just send you back to the same person you were speaking to...and repeat.Need your results for your visit? Dont count on it being in a timely manner.Count on paying your balance and then getting a random bill 9 months after your visit.I would say (at best) you have 60/40 chance of regretting using this company.

Brandy is our IVF coordinator. She has been awesome. Responds very quickly and answers all of our questions very thoroughly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I wont tell the long story but, they wont give you the real information from the beginning. They want you to go there and expend your money and time as much as possible for their business. If you are asking for your medical records, they will neglect you per months, illegally. I recommend you visit other practice before taking your decision. ** I have nothing to complain about the nurse and assistance **

Without sharing too many details, I wanted to write a review. For starters, Lindsey and the nurses were extremely kind and I am thankful for the help they had each time.Before the IUI process and I was getting all the tests done, the lack of communication and miscommunication was all over the place. It took me talking to the medical director to get a clear answer and plan. What my doctor wanted done vs what they allowed were very different.I didnt love that once the IUI process started, I hadnt seen or talked to my doctor in 3 months. Everything was communicated through a nurse and the procedures were never done by my doctor. They never thought to check my progesterone levels after failed IUI #2 and only gave me meds because it couldnt hurt to try but we wish we would have checked that sooner. So, on a positive note they helped me learn to advocate for myself.My second big issue with them was when I requested my medical records to get a second opinion somewhere else. They said if I put a need by date they should get them to us by that date. (which never happened). Then anytime I called to follow up on those, they just said legally we have 30 days to get them to you. Finally, day 30 I called and it took me mentioning today was day 30 and if I didnt get them I would have to file a suit against them but i didnt want too, I just wanted the dang records. They finally sent them on day 32.So if you choose to work with them, highly just recommend doing your research and ask questions. Advocate for yourself. Get your medical records constantly throughout the process. Get a second opinion. You may love them! They nurses truly are so kind.

The amount of support the tampa office group gave me will forever be unmatched. Emma for answering my crying call, nitza hugging me during my anxious, happy, sad times and duffy/lindsey for helping me get pregnant and graduate with no unanswered questions. WARNING-PLEASE READ:I am deeply disappointed and feel the need to share our troubling experience with Brown Fertility. My wife and I initially consulted with Dr. Duffy at Brown Fertility in August 2023 with hopes of starting a family through IVF using her own eggs. Upon his recommendation, we paid the substantial amount of $19,960.00 upfront.However, tests conducted after our payment in October 2023 showed that my wife was no longer producing viable eggs—a devastating discovery that was only disclosed to us months after our payment. We learned that her Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) and Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) levels indicated she could not proceed with the treatment we had hoped for. This left our initial plans completely unviable.When this was revealed, Brown Fertility suggested we consider using donor eggs. This option was not only outside our initial plans—wanting a child genetically related to us both—but also came with a significant additional cost, which was simply not feasible for us. After expressing our decision to not move forward with donor eggs and requesting a refund, we were told on May 1, 2024, that the clinic intended to keep 30% of our initial payment, arguing it was our choice to stop treatment.This decision feels not only unfair but also unethical, considering that the very basis of our agreement — using my wife’s eggs — was never a viable option, something that should be taken into consideration as there was no way for us to know this without paying the upfront fee to start the testing.Its important to clarify that we do not blame Dr. Duffy for this situation as he does not make the business decisions at the clinic. However, we do hold Brown Fertility and Edwin Salinas, the billing manager, responsible. Mr. Salinas oversees claims, reimbursements, and the billing process for patients, and his department’s handling of our case has been nothing short of unethical.We again ask for a full refund, given these circumstances, but Brown Fertility has been largely unresponsive and seems unwilling to resolve our grievance fairly. This experience has been emotionally and financially draining for us, and we had hoped for more empathy and integrity from a facility that families rely on during such a vulnerable time.We hope Brown Fertility will reconsider their decision to retain 30% of our payment. I urge potential patients to consider our experience when choosing a fertility clinic, as the transparency and ethics of your chosen provider are crucial during such a personal journey.

Lindsey is such a phenomenal person to work with. This journey can be difficult, but she has made it so seamless and so positive through every step! We couldn’t imagine having anyone else take care of us and help us with our future family!

Brandy, our IVF coordinator has been amazing throughout this entire process. She is quick to respond to all of our emails and has promptly returned every one of our phone calls. She went above and beyond helping us navigate the back and forth with our insurance to get certain medications covered. As we started our second FET cycle, we knew we are in great hands with Brandy and Emma as our IVF coordinators!

We have THE BEST fertility team! At the Tampa office, every single person that I’ve had any type of interaction with, has been nothing short of amazing to me! My team aka “The Baby Makers” lol treat me, legit, like I’m family. I’ve never felt more cared about in a medical setting than I do with them! Let me give you a little glimpse into these amazing people I am so blessed to see at every appointment.Talymarie is a rockstar at the front desk, checking me in, setting up appointments and is an absolutely lifesaver when I call her back to back with questions or issues after I leave. She also is super sweet on many levels but makes sure I’m okay when I call with some not so great news.I then get welcomed to the back with the biggest hugs from my love, Nitza! She gets my weight, temp, takes some blood and gets me set up in a room. More importantly (to me at least haha), she treats me like I’m a sister or cousin. Sharing stories, relating to experiences and just making sure I know, she is there for me if I need someone. She obviously does so much more in the background but as a patient struggling with infertility, whose life is constantly thinking about getting pregnant, having someone like Nitza taking care of things while making me feel so comfortable and special is such a weight off.Now for Mrs. Lindsey DeBruler. I cannot even express how grateful I am to have her as my APRN. From our very first appointment, she showed more concern and interest in my health and wellbeing than any medical person I’ve ever been to. She actually listens when I have questions or concerns and her answers are super knowledgeable and up to date. She also takes the time to explain again when I don’t understand something. Lindsey has gone above and beyond for me at every appointment!Both Lindsey and Nitza have really been there for me every step of this journey. I have faith that they will help my husband and I conceive. I actually am wanting to move back to NJ because my family is there but I told my husband, “I’m not leaving this fertility clinic! I don’t think I’ll find anyone better!”As happy as I’ll be once I’m pregnant, I’ll definitely be sad to “graduate” and leave this little family.Like I’ve said, my team is the best! If you’re looking for a fertility clinic, the search is over! This is your team! You’ve found your people!

Today was my first new patient appointment and I am super excited I wish I would of been started this journey today everything went well I will be back soon i recommend this clinic

LADIES THAT NEED AN HSG TEST this one is for you.I will start with Talymarie Garcia. Two months she helped me during the pre-appointment process. I had a weird referral issue that she took the time to walk through with me. Amazing. Lindsey the nurse practitioner and her assistant Nitza were so comforting and everything you want when you don’t know what to expect from this test. Lindsey walked me through every step of the procedure before and during. Amazing.When I tell you I was nervous, I mean it. I was one of the gals who read horror stories on Reddit and walked into this office expecting that, and had a completely wonderful experience. I know each case and body is different and results may literally vary, but I am grateful for the team at Brown Fertility Tampa and will recommend them to all my friends or family that may need their services.

Had a great experience at Browns Fertility i was treated with care, spoken to intelligently a friendly and warm atmosphere while being still being informative and professional.

These offices are a hot mess. Lack of communication between themselves, cancelled visits, broken machines. I cannot believe they deal with something so delicate as fertility services. My appointment was cancelled and no one told me; in fact, I called to get the antibiotic I was supposed to take because up to that point no one had called or sent the medication to the pharmacy. They apologized and sent me the antibiotic and told me to take it BUT my appointment had been cancelled days before because the machine had not been working. Apparently no one knew only the one person that called me the morning of the exam to ask if I was going two hours away to the other office. I mean, how did only one person knew that the exam had been cancelled days ago and the rest of the office is sending me to take medication? Being that this exam can only be done during certain times of the month, it ruined a trip I had scheduled and pushed everything back. UGH! Because of the late notice and the limited window oif time, I was unable to reschedule with a different practice. So, I had to reschedule with them a month later. Never heard from anyone, so I called a couple days before since I needed to confirm how to take the antibiotic. Come to find out the machine was still broken and they had scheduled me for a different exam (not at all what the doctor ordered). I was livid, again. Ended up having to drive two hours to make it there. The day before the exam, they moved my appointment to an earlier time. Mind you, I am driving two hours and having to ask someone to go with me. UGH! The nurse who took my vitals was ok. Kind of dry for this type of practice, but whatever. I did not see a doctor as my appointment indicated, but a nurse practitioner. She was nice at least, because everyone else in that office seemed very miserable. The exam was VEY painful and the person at the front desk never mentioned I could have asked for laughing gas. She never offered it as an option or explained. WHY??? I am done with these people, and I hope I dont have to go back.

Scandalous; gave misinformation about the process. Charge for speciality fees when you talk to a nurse practitioner with basic to little information and charged dollar per page to be faxed when I transferred to another clinic. Be willing to be on the phone and on hold a lot. Good luck!

I had the pleasure of visiting this clinic with my best friend and the staff was amazing and friendly. Nashari was a breath of fresh air and made us feel comfortable with the information my friend was sharing and reassured us everything would stay confidential. Will continue to recommend this clinic.

I have been to three different fertility clinics in the Tampa area. Brown Fertility surpasses the other clinics 1000%. From their awesome, easily reachable staff (including nurses & Drs) to their organized/methodical way of conducting a cycle...this practice really takes some of the stress out of IVF.I highly recommend this clinic!

First appointment…I was excited but nervous. Got to the office and they had me scheduled in the wrong location. Time that was given to me was different from the time on their records. Then they tell me the insurance wasn’t correctly verified and they wanted $100 more than what they told me by phone. This is too big and important for this type of confusion. Very disappointed

STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLINICI thought initially to refrain from writing a review but I dont want anyone to suffer. Lindsey was good who mostly handled my case. but the management sucks and all they care about is MONEYI wasnt told to take Genetic Test during my first IUI cycle. In my second visit they mentioned it would be good to take the test. I agreed thinking it might be covered in my insurance. After finding our I requested them to cancel the test immediately on next day and the blood result takes 3-4 days to reach blood sample and its not covered in my insurance. THEY SAID CANCEL THE CYCLE AND WE CANNOT GO AHEAD WITH TREATMENT UNLESS YOU GO THROUGH NATERA TEST. WE ONLY ACCEPT FROM NATERA. Lack of compassion, I missed my cycle thanks to them. Stubborn not giving me choice to go through my insurance and take the test. Overall its money making business, they are not a problem solver or compassionate clinic. It has caused me so much mental distress.

I had an appointment scheduled with you today it turns out that I went on a trip and came back with COVID, I tried to communicate to cancel it I was waiting for more than 5 minutes to cancel and I was not attended now they call me and tell me that I have to pay for the appointment to cancel it,? Sorry but I dont think your management is correct since its COVID I cant go to any medical appointment like that, in addition to the fact that Ive been super sick with a fever and everything. Also of this charge I was never informed in advance, if they dont solve it for me Im definitely going to get another clinic, they would have a potential new patient now Im just angry about your management !!

The doctors and nurses at brown fertility are wonderful. I always feel welcome and Dr. Duffy has been a wonderful ally and advocate for us as we navigate our journey to baby!

I would never go back here as frustrated as you can be because of going to a doctor. I had an appointment at 3:15 I was told 3:30 on the phone. I arrived at 3:26 11 minutes late which I was standing ringing the bell for about minute waiting while everyone was talking in the back. The lady had her purse ready to go to tell me the doctor cant see me today because im a New Patient . I was like wow. I called the customer service line because I really wasnt late. I work hard and saved up alot of money for IVF or any other treatments. I will gladly take myself the way they treated me as a New Patient was so bad. The front desk is the most important part of an office and I felt like I was nothing because I was 10 minutes late. I would advise not to go here If you are a New Patient

I have been seeing Dr.Duffy since he was a part of FIRM since 2015, ever since he has moved to Brown Fertility it has been issue after issue. “Karina” was rude on the phone after I mentioned I had never had issues like this her response was “that’s nice” in a rude tone. And then refused to listen. I work in an doctors office and I have never spoken to a patient the way I was spoken to. I traveled 3 hours away for my appointment just to be told the doctor wouldn’t see me because I hadn’t completed some blood work. And then all of a sudden, I was told I needed an EKG, which had never been told about and something Dr.Duffy has NEVER and hadn’t ordered for me. I know this wasn’t coming from Dr.Duffy but his “staff”. This clinc has been the worst by far I have experienced. When I told them what I needed they refused. And told me to go back to my PCP and OB/GYN. I go to Dr.Duffy because I trust him. But this practice has been the worst.

Nashari was very informative during our IVF teaching. I hope she is my IVF coordinator when we begin our cycle :)

Nanette Duffy is a genuine, empathetic, and altruistic professional and she proves as much through her actions every day. She has shared in both our grief and our joy. I highly recommend both Nanette and Brown Fertility overall.

I wouldn’t recommend this place anymore. I use to communicate with one of the employees there and she was so sweet and helped me with all my needs and looking at the other reviews she helped a lot of other people too. Ever since she left, communication has not been the same. I know for a fact I’m not the only patient that feels this way.

This office was terrible!! My experience here was awful! I arrived as a new patient with the intention of seeing a provider which did not happen!! I arrives in the office and the staff was very rude! I do not recommend this office!

Tahisha was very helpful and answered all the questions that l had. She went beyond her scope of duties.

Nan was amazing to work with from the moment I walked in the door at Brown Fertility. 10/10 would recommend.

I started my IVF cycle in this clinic, because it has a convenient location for me and they also speak English/Spanish, the assistants are very attentive, especially Nitza and Thali, they are always attentive to my cycle, medicines, appointments and more. Now I am waiting to have a positive result, I will return to tell how my treatment ended. Good luck to all 💪🥰🤰👩‍🍼👼🍼

Really, if I could, I would give them zero stars, the worst experience of my life has been in this clinic, lack of communication, lack of concern for the patients, they dont care that we do this for love and that money is a sacrifice to do it to vote for it wanting to achieve a dream that turns into nightmares, I really understand that the transferences can be negative or positive one goes with the bag of winning or losing, but in my case what has hurt me the most is the lack of love that is experienced there in that clinic for the patients, at least or at least they should take some time and talk to their patients after an embryo loss, for my part, after a week they called me to see if I wanted to schedule a new consultation and I dont believe that where mistreatment occurs to a person or there is no communication, no one has the desire to return, Dr. Cabrera is very good, but there are nurses there who I dont know what they are up to, he clarified, not all of them, but I had a bad experience in which he treated me in a very bad manner and even verbal abuse, I endured it. because all my money was already there in her hands, the day of my transfer the same nurse was in the clinic and I never saw her, it really pains me that she has so little heart in the end she is a woman like all of us who want to achieve the dream of being a mother and nothing my blessings for her, I for my part went to another clinic and the beginning had nothing to do with my bad experience at Brown fertility, my advice to all future mothers if you dont want to waste your money and waste your time no Go there, I clarify again, not all of them are bad people but for my part I left with a very bad opinion of that clinic, I hope they improve and those who do not have professional ethics, the most beautiful thing is that they enjoy what they do and do not mistreat people Because in addition to losing time and money, there is a lot of stress and anxiety.
