Visited the urgent care for an injury requiring stitches. The medical staff was attentive and answered my questions thoroughly. Compared to other urgent care facilities on SI, this was a better and more positive experience.

Dr was so rude talked at you not to you and consistently talked to me like I was a complete moron the entire time. He also kept reiterating how I should’ve taken my kids to the drs not the urgent care but my son had a skin infection and was wheezing and my daughter had an ear infection. Their pcps office was still closed by the time he already looked them over and complained 10 times about having to do his job, so obviously the reason I was there was to get them attention sooner than later & I don’t know about you but wheezing and a skin infection sounded pretty urgent to me. Isn’t the whole point of an urgent care to mitigate high acuity in the hospitals and still receive medical attention / medical advice when your drs is closed?

Nice clean facilities and friendly knowledgeable staff who cared and listened and treated me well both times I have visited so far. Probably the best urgent care experiences I have ever had. The easy available parking is also a huge plus for the area.

I was in and out in 10 minutes diagnosed and treated and released. The doctor couldn’t have been nicer. I would love to have him as my primary care physician. He was the best.

I had a wonderful experience at the urgent care center I visited. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful, showing me how to use the walk-in registration machine. Since there was no one else there at the time, I was taken care of very quickly. I really appreciate their efficient and friendly service.

My recent visit with GoHealth Eltingville was seamless from start to finish . Everyone there was courteous and professional, and spent a lot of time to assess my condition. The office atmosphere is very pleasant. Would highly recommend.

Christina was seriously the sweetest. I was actually shocked because most PAs rush you out or don’t care what you have to say. She was the total opposite and actually cared what I had to say. Place is always clean as well.

Horrible experience . Once taken in the room, the PA basically told me I shouldnt come to an urgent care because they didnt have many qualified PAs .. Still charged my insurance full price, refused to prescribe the steroid I told him I needed for my lung inflammation.. Gave me a useless inhaler, and sent me on my way.... Terrible experience. Will not return.

Dr. Solimon is a truly fantastic doctor. She has the empathy to help as much as she can to get you well. I will always look forward to her presence in an urgent care facility. I will even follow her to other urgebt care facility just to have her doctor me. SHE IS GREAT !!!

Went to urgent care on Greaves Lane. Staff was polite. Exam was thorough. Doctor was concerned and sent me over for an X-ray of my chest to urgent care on Amboy rd. Also wonderful staff.

I like it when, in urgent situations, X-rays can be done quickly, conclusions are drawn promptly, and proper solutions are provided in a timely manner. It really appeals to me.

I went to a so called specialist Doctor (ENT) several times and they never helped me or made me feel comfortable… Finally, I went to Urgent Care, and Tess Studholme, DNP FNP-BC looked at me and found the problem that was making me feel sick! She gave me a prescription for a few medicines, and I’m starting to feel 100% BETTER! Also, a big Thank You to the whole staff that also helped! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ❤️

Beware the unnecessary splints etc they give you because you will get a surprise bill in the mail. $20 unnecessary wrist brace was billed $175 by their partner Surgi-Care. Go anywhere else

Positive experience, was checked out within a reasonable time frame and received a prescription. Quick service, clean environment and the representative that checked me in was lovely. Its everyone else that didnt seem very happy to be working there.

I came in earlier today to be treated for my stitches. The doctor that saw me did a phenomenal job. He worked well and swiftly! Which is greatly appreciated. I came many times in the past regarding my son and they always diagnosed him correctly, gave him the right antibiotics and always made my son feel safe&comfortable. Great kind professional staff. Thank you for all that you do I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else.

Terrible. I went there a few weeks ago with my husband who had an issue with an infection on his finger. One of the front desk women kept mumbling to herself “this is ridiculous” over and over again. And then today I made an appointment for myself and called to verify that they took my new insurance. The woman who answered the phone was beyond rude, almost as if I was bothering her by asking. All she said was “our system is down bring your id, insurance card and money for the payment” I tried to ask something else and she cut me off repeating the same thing again. NO RESPECT. Finally I said ok, thanks and she said MMHMM then HUNG UP ON ME. I cancelled my appointment here and went to the Northwell Health Urgent Care on Greaves Lane where it was a much more pleasurable experience.

My daughter was sick, they put us in the room after over an hour wait (for no apparent reason), the aid came in to check my daughter’s vitals, saw that I was on the phone with my husband, and walked out of the room SLAMMING THE DOOR! Rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Never coming back to this location!

Today I went to the Urgent care on Amboy road because my doctor had died and we were referred there. From the moment I tried to sign in at the reception desk it was bizarre. An employee grabbed the paper in my hand listing 4 meds and with a raised voice said they didnt prescribe psych meds and I would have to go to the emergency room. And, two other employees chimed in so that anyone within earshot heard my private health information. Even signing in was a problem, the receptionist said I was not in the system and was considered a new patient. However in the exam room my heart and neuropathy meds came up and it was apparent I was in the system. The final insult was when the loud person who let everyone in the Urgent care know I took psych meds came in the exam room, because she was the person in charge, to again repeat the mantra. None of the above should have happened but it did. Hiring loud and offensive unprofessional staff and putting them in a leadership role is a mistake because she represents your hospital. The issue she made over psych meds needed to treat major depression is representative of the stigma attached to mental health care. All patients should be treated with some modicum of respect and their privacy is essential. I would not recommend going to this health care facility.

Prompt and efficient on site care. Excellent follow up from Nurse Practitioner after visit.

Although the entire staff was overworked and understaffed, each employee I had interaction with was patient & friendly. Management should have some type of recognition or reward for this hard working bunch of professionals. Having them see or read this compliment is not enough.

Excellent staff, very caring and efficient doctor. I have been to many urgent cares on the island, this one by far was the best one. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back to them if I ever needed to.

The entire staff was friendly, warm and helpful.. I was not feeling well at all and they were kind enough to give me a glass of water and let me sit until I felt well enough to walk. They came to me where I was sitting so I wouldn’t have to walk to the desk to give my insurance cards etc. The receptionists, the nurses, the x-ray technician, the nurse practitioner are all A+. Having received follow up calls and text messages was comforting. It was a very positive experience and I highly recommend it because there’s no better staff anywhere.

Went to this urgent care recently, place was packed it took 3 and a half hours to be seen right before new years. I’ve been extremely sick and explained to the doctor what was wrong and she told me i had allergies and prescribed me ALLEGRA. To my surprise i spent $50 to get some Allegra and knew something wasn’t right. When i asked for a note she said “how much longer are you gonna be out of work for” as if I am not sick. I can understand being overwhelmed with the amount of people but moral of the story here. This doctor sent me home and 3 days later I had to go to the ER to find out I have RSV. Something she slapped a bandaid on. Will never be going there again.

As someone with the WORST anxiety about doctors and hospitals of any kind I was nervous from the start. But that changed the minute I was greeted by Wanda!!!! So efficient sweet and personable! Not a long wait at all and the music playing was great which helps for neurotic people such as myself! Then comes Adam. Also kind polite and thorough. So sweet. I can’t remember the name of the Doctor Who waited on me but he was also the absolute best. Without question I highly recommend this place!

Made appointment. For 1.30pm. Saw the PA. 1.50pm. Staff was outstanding. Given medication to be picked up. All in all good experiences.

I decided to use this urgent care because I was really feeling sick. I didn’t want to go to the ER and had to wait to see my primary. I was so pleasantly surprised at the care I received. I was greeted with a warm smile which always helps when your not feeling well. I saw Dr. Marie. I’m not using her last name because I don’t have her permission. I was treated with respect and kindness. She was extremely thorough. On another note one of the meds she prescribed was not available at the pharmacy. She called the pharmacy to follow up and she then called me personally to confirm that I was getting the medicine. I am a nurse and this is the place I would 100% recommended if anyone needs medical attention!!

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I had a very short wait (scheduled the appointment) was given a diagnosis in just as short a time and my required Rx was sent to my pharmacy before I even left center, and this all on a Sunday. Center was clean, inviting and well kept. Would definitely go there again

I will not go to another urgent care on staten island except this one. I had two visits in past week for ear infection/strep and same for my son. The first doctor i went to was PA Yan Chen and the other was Joshua Stone. Both doctors were so knowledgeable and had a great bed side manner. very through and got my scripts in right away. Dr Stone was excellent with my son. My son loved him. he was so personable and funny and addressed the situation with such ease. He has such good energy. happy, funny , professional, relaxed and smart. He was excellent. The lady at the front desk was so friendly , she was fast and efficient and was so nice to my son - gave him a ton of stickers. she was very pleasant to deal with. i won’t go anywhere again - i had luck with most of the PA’s there. I usually get PA Mike and he’s a pleasure too. i highly recommend this place!!

They were terrific Everything they did was on point with a customer service and friendly way making me feel so comfortable there. they knew what they were doing. Every single person verify who I was before they did anything to me to ensure they were working with the right person I felt very comfortable with that. It was clean. There wasnt a long wait. Everyone was polite. Health care provider listened and spent time explaining to me. Liked they were able to take a chest xray right on premises.

The Dr on duty was excellent! He was knowledgeable and very helpful.

The Physicians Assistant that provided my care , Francis Albano, was thorough, informative, and took the time to explain the reason for the pain I was experiencing in my wrist. He has extensive orthopedic knowledge and provided me with effective, holistic pain management recommendations and I could not be happier. My condition is quickly improving and I know I can count on GoHealth if I need additional care in the future. I want to give a huge thank you to Francis and the GoHealth Urgent care team!

Incompetent people at the front desk!!! The pa Mike saw me told him I get cronic sinus infections. Checked me out saw I had a problem prescribed me a antibiotics. Went out front told the girl to send it to a local pharmacy. I call the next day they sent it to a cvs!! No one cares or pays attention to their job anymore!!! They would rather sit on their phones then do there job!!

Went in with red swollen arm from a bug bite that was clearly in the beginning stages of being infected with cellulitis . PA looked at my arm for 5 seconds and sent me home with no diagnosis and no antibiotic . My arm got worse as the day went on. Thank goodness I was able to get in touch with my doctor and get the antibiotics late and night and avoid a possibly dangerous situation .

Go Health Urgent Care was very efficient and professional for my Walk-in visit.

This is the second time that I visit this walk in clinic. First time was for my mom. So this was actually the first time for me. I must say. I love the PA here and the MA I saw today. They are so nice here. They have taken really good care of my 86 years old mom and myself. Best bedside manners. No rush on our visits. All questions answered and explained. I rather take the car ride here. Which is about a 13 min drive vs a 2 min drive to my doctors. Definitely deserves more than a 5 star.Need to edit: The times that I have come here. Has always looked and smelled really clean. You can tell they care for their patients. Thank you

The visit was extremely quick and the employee Cindy was amazing from registering to finish she was extremely helpful, friendly and funny. She was very knowledgeable and attentive. Hard to find friendly souls on Staten Island. She is a clear example of what customer service she always be.

The nurse practitioner was wonderful, and so patient with my son , along with the nurse assistant she made him feel comfortable. Didn’t expect nothing but the best experience at Northwell. Always a great experience besides being sick(lol)

Honestly I was really impressed, everything was clean, the wait was much shorter then estimated, and all of the staff was really friendly! They worked quickly but didnt make me feel like I was being rushed out! 10/10 best urgent care Ive ever been to!

I LOOOOOOOOVE that I was seen almost at the EXACT time of my appointment. I am so used to having to wait way past an appointment time at any doctors office and the fact that I was actually seen at my appointed time was EVERYTHING. The people were also very nice and my experience while feeling super sick was a very nice experience.

Ive been to this facility more than once and always had a great experienceWell this time it took two video chats and one actual visit to the urgent care facility in order to feel better. The first video chat I was given cough medicine for a hacking cough and it didnt help. So I then went into the facility and was given two more prescriptions for antibiotics and a pump. Still not feeling great the next day I did an additional video chat and finally this physician gave me two more prescriptions that began to work. I dont believe this should have taken more than one visit to get the help I needed.

I took my daughter to 4316 Amboy road after a horrible experience at another urgent care. The receptionists, medical assistant and of course the Doctor were all amazing.. they greet you as soon as you walk in very polite and clean office. The Doctor has an amazing bedside manner. Absolutely the best experience on the Island so far and I have lived here 13 years. I definitely recommend this place...

The staff at Northwell GoHealth Urgent Care were professional, courteous and my wait time was less than 30 mins. I was examined and given a prognosis which was described to me in detail. All of my questions were answered and I left with a clear understanding of what I was dealing with. I would highly recommend them the next time you need medical care.

I truly cannot say enough good things about this urgent care. Ivy urgent care goes above and beyond for their patients. The office is very clean, has toys to keep kids engaged, and every staff from the front desk to the nurse and doctors are kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and accommodating. I had to get stitches a few months back, and I was in and out in under an hour, and the wound healed so nicely. Today I had to bring my 2 year old daughter in, and they were so wonderful with her I highly recommend this urgent care!!!!

I was MISTAKEN the first time I reviewed this place. I left angry because all the doctor did was tell me to go to the emergency room and wrote me a letter saying he sent me.He was RIGHT. I have been stubborn and have not gone yet but in the end, I likely will by the evening.I was mad that they could do nothing there. They are NOT the Mayo Clinic. Theyre an urgicare facility not equipped for the either kidney/liver/pancreas problem I am having and thought I should NOT WAIT until after the holiday weekend to see a doctor.Apologies, and good call guys

Was seen by Anna and told i had a virus and given antibiotics. Two days later im sicker than ever, Go to another location where its decided i was misdiagnosed. I should have been given decongestant. Also a pill for my horrible cough. She also said i had tonsillitis which was not true. She looked at me for two seconds and as i left i felt she was not thorough. Wish i wouldve went to greaves location instead the first time. Thanks to Anna and her lack of medical knowledge i lost a whole week. Only positive is the staff there.

First impression matter- after having such horrible experience with Pro Health Circle( first time in that place) came across NorthWell - like night and day. Staff in the front desk was so helpful and understanding. The nurse was so gentle and compassionate, and the attending provider was above and beyond, compassionate, understanding, and gave this tired (sick) mom of 3 some relief. This will be my 1 urgent care center.

I never had any medical issues that warranted testing etc, in fact, I have not even been sick in over 20 years (Covid included), so this was my first! The entire staff was over-the-top pleasant & they made me feel at ease and calm during this extremely uncomfortable first time experience!

What a great experience at this amazing professional facility. I have checked in twice for myself and had the pleasure of being seen by Dr. Malizia and Dr. Sulyman. Both doctors took their time and were very thorough throughout the entire exam. The office is clean and the staff is so nice! Today, I took my 6 year old daughter in with a rash. She does not do well with strep swabs. This was the first time a doctor involved my daughter in the swab process. I was amazed at how gentle and caring the doctors are here. This was the first time I did not have to hold my daughter down. Highly recommended for adults as well as children. Thank you for making our visits pleasant and easy.

By far the most compassionate people, fantastic with my kids. The facility is clean and everyone is very kind and accommodating, from the front desk to the medical staff! With the times we are living in, their kindness goes a long way! Thank you!!

Don’t brother. Appointments do not mean anything!!! Front desk with nasty attitude. We actually had a misdiagnose at this location few months ago. Looks like nothing improved. Do yourself a favor and find a different spot. They are a dime a dozen. Honestly it’s the nasty attitude of the older lady at the front desk that just made me walk out. Not coming back to this location again!

I felt very compelled to write this review out of complete frustration. I was already unsatisfied with the walk-in experience I had with an elderly family member due to the fact that upon check-in we were told to leave and we would receive a text message when we could go back into the office (due to Covid). The waiting area was empty and my family member has trouble walking. This is after checking in on an iPad and filling out more paperwork on my phone which my elderly family member would not have been able to do had I not been there. If cleanliness is such a concern then perhaps the iPad should not be used— it was not clean. The text message advised that the wait time would be 60 minutes to see a doctor. We decided to wait in the parking lot. Had we not waited we would have had to hurry back because we were called back in 15 minutes (seems like we could have waited in the office if someone was more observant of the patient and efficient with scheduling). What really has upset me is that I’ve been waiting to hear from a referral line for a specialist follow up appointment. The doctor told us we should expect this phone call in one week. No phone call received— when I called to follow up, the office told me they do not do referrals and had no alternative option for me. It seems really irresponsible for a doctor and their staff not to be on the same page. Not everyone has someone looking out for their medical needs, especially the elderly. Had I not called, she would still be waiting. Overall not a great experience and despite the convenient location, we will go elsewhere in the future.

Its horrible and unethical what this urgent care is doing. I had to get a Covid test for medical clearance. I was NOT sick, and was NOT examined, only swabbed. In NY, there is no charge for people needing to get Covid tests. So this urgent care found a way to SCAM additional money. They send to your insurance the codes for an office visit. The insurance pays for an urgent care office visit, and the patient has to pay a copay too.I, as the patient, was not examined at all. And the insurance can only go on the codes submitted.This urgent care uses unethical business practices and should be fined for double dipping to increase their revenue.

I was very pleasantly surprised by cleanliness, innovation and level of service in this medical center. It is very fast, efficient and professional approach with wonderful staff and doctors.If you suddenly, happen to feel sick, the Urgent Care is the place to go, where you will be treated like a family. Highly recommend !!!

The PA Santos comes off as he knows everything, meanwhile you’re testing your luck. Prescribes me with a cough congestion medicine, meanwhile I had nasal congestion. Did not know until I looked up the medicine. No help at all, waste of time visit. Even called (politely) to confirm if the medicine was correct, he caught an awful attitude asking me “what’s so hard?”. Santos you’re literally wrong my friend. Time to go back to PA school. The pharmacist at my local pharmacy, who KNOWS what she is talking about, said the medicine prescribed wouldn’t even help me when i told her my symptoms and situations. Told me all urgent cares prescribe the same thing no matter what and she’s constantly refilling the same prescriptions. I believe it! So disappointed, such a waste of my time

Incompetent staff that have no clue how to perform their clerical responsibilities. The doctor didnt bother noting down any of the symptoms shared. Medical history is completely blank. Thanks for nothing.

Yes, they were very professional and personable. I enjoyed and appreciated the service they gave my son and I. For our first visit we got a great impression of how they are with patients. I will definitely keep them in mind if my family and I ever need medical attention. Thank you.

Usually make an appt. On- line but just showed up at 9am with bronchitis. No wait and Staff was concerned . P.A. took time to discuss my issue, didnt feel rushed. Great caregivers.

The wait time was minimal, the nurse assistant (sorry I do not have the name), was so pleasant, patient and professional with our 4 year old as was the doctor. All in all, it was a positive experience.

The PA was very professional, I saw Michael. I appreciated the assistant who took my vitals, I didnt get her name. She even thought to check my vision, as I was dealing with a stye in my eye.The medicine prescribed already started to work. Im on the way to recovery. Thank you for having a great staff. ✅

This is my first time getting covid tested at this center, Ive gotten tests from citymd but the last time I waited 3 hours. I chose this center because it was close to home and did appointments which I appreciated. They took me within 10min of my appointment time, the original text messages for my visit suggested I arrive 10min early but if you fill in all your paperwork before hand check in is basically done. The one thing that surprises me is the difference in the number of patients waiting at the sites, at Northwell they suggest you wait in the car and text you. I think this speaks to proper use of technology and management. The only minus is that when I walked in I noticed an associate with their mask off then quickly put it back on, maybe she was sipping water.

It was fast, professional, clear explained. Recommendations medications explained. Office staff is friendly. Would recommend

Was putting off going for medical care for ear & throat pain until I started to get dizzy and losing my balance. Anxious and nervous, based on prior experiences Id had with medical professionals.However, the staff was kind, not judgmental, patient and understanding.I was diagnosed with an ear and sinus infection, the prescriptions were immediately sent to the pharmacy, the medical provider, Joshua Stone listened to my complaints and eased my anxiety. Waiting time was negligible, I was in and out quickly.I would highly recommend this care center...clean, professional, kind, and attentive.Grateful....I am feeling better already!

My own dr’s office will only do video calls if one shows any sign of the flu. That doesn’t help them listen to your breathing. We get very well taken care of at this office. If it weren’t for Dr Santo and staff I wouldn’t be on the road to recovery as quickly. As someone prone to pneumonia I’m thankful for that.

I love that you can makean appointment time and fill out all your paper work, with ease online. Because of that there is very minimal time that you wait, if any upon your arrival. The PAs are very attentive to your concerns, and will give you the necessary test on site, Xrays, Covid and Flu test. I wish every office could be like this. Ty Northwell

I did not sign up for an automatic payment plan. I paid in full at the time of service. Yet I received an email thanking me for signing up for the automatic payment plan - which I did not do. I want it canceled but no one answers the phone. Also, I came in for an injured foot, unable to walk, excruciating pain & swelling. Xrays were taken but there wasnt even a support boot or cane available for me to help me walk. Was given an ace wrap & told to check radiologist report next day online. No other treatment follow up instructions. I can’t walk. Very disappointed. But the place was clean & staff professional.

Santo Bosco PA did an excellent job in diagnosing my daughter Isabellas issue and has an excellent bedside manner. She was very comfortable under his care and the staff was super helpful as well.

Josh Stone the PA and Maria my PCT were awesome! Very friendly, professional and kind! I dont remember the guys name at check-in but he was also very friendly and kind. As a nurse I dont make it a habit to go to urgent care but if I have to again I will definitely not hesitate to visit there again!!!

This place is horrible. Came in today as a walk in. Signed in and waited almost 2 hours. When I approached the desk to see how much longer it will take (and that several other walkins were seen before me.) The front desk older lady interupted (mind you she was on her phone taking a personal call) with a nasty attitude stating they all had appointments, which was BS. So I said make sure you dont charge my insurance and left. Went to south shore northwell emergency room. Was seen within 10 minutes. Out the emergency room in 45 minutes. I will NEVER again go to Eltingvilles northwell urgent care again.

I have always been impressed by the expertise of the staff. Last year I had an infection on my finger which turned out to be a staph infection. Thanks to the correct analysis and treatment of this potentially very serious issue the infection was cleared up.

NORTHWELL Health-Go Health has a very efficient way to run an urgent care center. It was very clean, the whole staff was helpful, courtesy and comforting during my visit ! There was no wait time and the greatest of all, I was able to be seen on the same day I needed the appointment! Thank you!

This place sucks. I thought urgent care centers are supposed to deal with work related issues and they didnt see my injuries. They lack the service for anyone who is hurt or in need and also they mostly lollygag throughout the day. Some needs to do something about this location cause Ive seen people walk in and out because they cant see certain patients and the receptionists are really rude

I was Admitted at Staten Island south site last week and diagnosed with pancolitis. The staff was wonderful!They made me feel very welcome and took the best care of me. I felt like I could have died and all through my stay until leaving yesterday they were attentive, caring, nurturing and most importantly they treated me properly to make the bleeding stop. Been there 3 times.. All times treated with care and expertise! Diagnosis accurate each time. Ivy Urgent Care is great and I highly recommend them. They have X-Ray on site and it makes it most convenient. Great place!

Please be aware of the cost at the urgent care center if you are using health insurance with deductibles. I came here just for a COVID PCR test and vitals were taken during the visit. Spoke to the front receptionist, I was reassured that the cost will be fully covered so I decided to do the COVID test here. One month later, I received a bill $151 for COVID PCR and $550 urgent care visit (that’s a ridiculous amount JUST for a COVID test!) After insurance adjustments I will still need to pay $267 which is even more expensive than paying out of pocket for the visit +covid test. I contacted my insurance company and I was told that they didn’t select COVID related as a modifying code for the claim; therefore, the cost was not fully covered by my insurance. The reason I came for the visit is to find out if I’m COVID positive or not since family member has been experiencing signs and symptoms of COVID. Why would the claim not submitted with the right modifying code?

The nurses are very attentive and kind. They take my concerns seriously and treat me with care and respect. I will continue to go to this urgent care over any other.

Dr Barone, her medical assistant and Matt who did my X-ray were all so absolutely amazing. I still cannot believe the care I received. Ive been to many urgent cares and I have NEVER been treated as good as I was treated the other night. I could not breathe from my asthma attack and I feel like they saved my life. I love them so much!!!

I was seen right away, the office was clean, the staff was very friendly and PA Linda was super nice!! Would definitely recommend!!

I visited this urgent care with my mom. She was in pain from a car accident a few days earlier. The place is super clean and the staff is so friendly and nice. My mom needed an Xray of her back and they have the X-ray machine right on the premises. Its great not having to go to another office to take the Xray. The doctor who attended to us was very knowledgeable and had a great bedside manner. This urgent care makes a doctor visit a pleasure!

I went to this place on 4/27 and spoke with the attending physician. He never introduced himself while 4 helpers watched the conversation. I needed a script for blood test and another one for a CT scan for a near rupture hernia. My family doctor did not see patients that day. The doctor refused both the scripts and both to examine me (my hernia was clearly bulging). He told me first to see my gynecologist (!) then to go to the ER if I want.I asked him what is urgent care for; he said to refill prescriptions (?) or help smeone with a sprained anke and the like.This is a huge place and is totally useless. Might be good for COVID testing but nothing else.I eventually got my CT scan and underwent emergency operation for nearly burst appendix and hernia at Cornell in Manhattan. I was told I was lucky not to go to Staten Island.Why does Northwell keep incompetent paper-pushers at Urgent Care?

From the helpful and cheerful Medical Assistant who took my vitals to the PA Santos who tended to my injury, all of the care I received in Eltingville was top notch.However, I watched an elderly gentleman struggle with the kiosk to check--in and feel it should not be the only way to check-, not everyone is computer literate or good with technology

I have been to this brand new location with new equipment and a very clean facility. The service, friendliness and caring feeling from the staff was just like the Richmond Road Ivy Center location. I was seen within a matter of minutes and was able to walk over a couple feet to the Rite Aid and pickup my prescription so it was very convenient.

Horrific experience. Been a few times and nothing exceptionally horrible happened but today was a new level. The PA Santo Bosco, came into my room and berated me for having waited too long to get an infection looked at (I waited a day and a half hoping swelling would go down) , then told me if it got worse to go see a surgeon (when all I really needed was antibiotics), gave me antibiotics then said to just call a surgeon anyway that day regardless to make an appointment? It was very confusing and very stressful and I was already worried going into the day and left in tears thinking my hand was going to fall off. Thought doctors were supposed to quell fears not enforce them. Will never go again in fear I might get him.

With so many urgent cares opening on Staten island I can definitely say Ivy urgent care has been the best in helping me feel better. Please go to this urgent care if your doctor is not available...YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED. They go above & beyond to help their patients & the best part is they call you the very next day to see how you are doing. I have not had any other urgent cares do that. They really do care about their patients so the next time you are sick put your self in care of these people who actually take their time to take care of you.

Came here three times... 2 out of the 3 were normal experiences . Today there was a front administrative working there taking appointments or scheduling with such attitude I’ve never seen before in the location. Her name might of been Natasha, I went to north-well greaves down the road instead. If you don’t like patient care you shouldn’t be in patient care. Mind you I waited two hours until I came in twice to ask about my wait and you can sense the attitude a walk thru in... I get it’s Sunday but if your going to work on Sunday and accept the work be nice to the patients that come to this location or pick another field to work in. North well down the road took me in right away no issues pleasant experience.

PA CHEUNG SUI TUNG SAW I HAD HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE AND DID NOT ASK ME WHAT IS GOING ON WITH IT OR DO I TAKE MEDICINE FOR IT.VERY FAST PACE WITH HER WORK AND NOT CARING EVERYONE ELSE WAS GOOD TO ME AND ANSWERED ALL MY QUESTIONS SHE DEFINITELY SHOULD NOT BE THERE WONDERFUL SIGHT BESIDES HER!!!!

They were very friendly, inviting, caring and efficient I went in with a fever and asthma issues, during check in one person ran to the back and came back to check my oxegyn levels, they quickly checked me in, put me in a room, and the doctor was in, after she listened to my lungs she gave me an asthma treatment. After discharge she she called me back because it was confirmed I had pneumonia, so she added another antibiotic to my prescriptions

The place is very clean and employees and the doctors were nice. Now this is why I’m done with these facilities. Just like the one on Richmond Road. You will go there with an infection and the doctors will wiggle their way around giving you antibiotics. I had the Flu and a throat infection. Followed the doctors orders. Next day felt 10x worse. Went to my physician (who’s isn’t in on Monday). He prescribed me an antibiotic for the throat infection and real cough medicine with codine. I will never go to one of these facilities again. I’m not the one to complain but I’m tired of being burned for $50 co-pay

Sandy was very pleasant and extremely accommodating and Dr Mike was very understanding and explained everything to me so I could understand.

I had to get a PCR test for COVID in order to go on a vacation trip. I was led to an exam room and the person came in with a blood pressure cuff. I said, No. Sorry. I am just here for a PCR test. You must be mistaken. He tried to tell me this was their protocol with everyone with a PCR test. I refused anything but the PCR test. Sure enough, they billed my insurance $550 for an urgent care visit in addition to $151 for COVID 19 screening. INSURANCE SCAM! I informed my insurance so they will ask for a refund as they already paid for the visit that did not happen. BEWARE!

5/5 stars. The kind staff and doctors here are always here to help. They helped me when my ankle had a hair line fracture. And helped me get back to what I was doing in less than 2 weeks!

They should change their name from Urgent Care to No care. What kind of urgent care that dose not take walk-in when it is URGENT???If I have to make an appointment, I will make an appointment with my own professional doctor. Useless and waste of my time. If you have an emergency or urgent illness don’t waste your time with this place, you will be dead by the time they even acknowledge your existence.Go to Pro-Health or anywhere but that place.

I have been to the north well health urgent center on Amboy Road many times. They are always punctual, kind, and caring. The doctors Are great and have taken excellent care of me. This is the place I will go whenever I need care. I highly recommend them.

I have 2 boys (a 2 yr old and a 5 yr old) and both of then have been seen and treated by 2 different doctors; Dr. Petrovani and Dr. Suleymani. The care that my boys received each time we were there exceeded my expectations. Both physicians were kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. As a practicing physician myself, I could tell that they practiced with the latest evidence-based medicine. We were in and out in no time. I would highly recommend this place to all of my friends and family.

I highly recommend this Urgent care center. The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure the patients are satisfied. The receptionists always welcome you with a smile, as well as the triage staff. Dr. Suleymani and Dr. Costa are amazing. Both as patient and caring as Dr. Malizia.

I was taken right away because I had an appointment. The staff was curious and efficient. The doctor listened. My sinus infection was treated. Overall a win.

Im just appalled being a former medical employee, On Saturday 2/20/21 I drove my girlfriend to this location where she normally goes,She takes anti seizure meds and her Dr did not call them in and cant be reached till Monday, She called Urgent Care Amboy Rd. and spoke to someone explaining her situation letting them know she could provide them proof of Rx. when she arrived the Dr in charge treated her like a substance abuser and out right told her NO cant help you then told her to go to the other Urgent care on Richmond Ave and see if they would do it for her.Thankfully our pharmacy to give us a dose till Monday if she would of had a seizure Urgent care of Amboy would had a nice lawsuit for there lack of caring . They should have evaluated the situation better before telling her to come in and waisting hours.

Absolutely disappointed.This place never sent my information about the covid -19 vaccine to the state, I called them more than 60 times, they never listened to me, I went in person they laughed at me. Right now I have a big problem at work because of them. I was vaccinated in February 2021 my last vaccination and this problem hasn’t been solved because of them almost 9 months later.

Northwell Health Walk In Center on Amboy Rd were very good! The Doctor provided me with a clear explanation and answered all my questions. She even called me back when there was a mix up. When one of my tests were positive for an infection I received a phone call from Zohora informing me that I needed another prescription for an infection. I would recommend if you are looking for a doctor you should call Northwell Health! Bonnie Watt

Excellent service. Rosaria Trovello, PA-C, provided me with courteous, and professional healthcare . I was prescribed proper medication for my illness, and feeling much better and on my way to full recovery. The facility is very clean and I did not have to wait long at all even though I was a walk-in.

Presented with the same bronchitis that landed my mother in the hospital last week with a hefty dose of antibiotics, described a long history of sinus infections requiring antibiotic intervention. Dr. Alexander Kim refused to prescribe even cough syrup and opined that antibiotics were only to be used in the case of near death or lost limbs. Extraordinarily pompous and arrogant attitude. He was dismissive and actually laughed at me rather than listening to my symptoms. Staff were very friendly, in and out quickly. If I’m sick enough to drag myself here and spend my last dollar on New Years day i’m sick enough for treatment. What a supreme jerk.

Excellent care, all healthcare facilities should have the professionalism of this staff. Medical staff was thorough, caring and took the time to listen. The environment was immaculate as well. Exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

5.0 star rating 7/10/2016My husband and I recently went to Ivy Urgent Care in Eltingville, 4316 Amboy Road. We were greeted immediately by an attentive and personable staff. We were seen within a few minutes by Dr. Malizia. My examination was thorough, as Dr. Milizia took the time to listen to my problem.We were not rushed in any way. Dr. Malizia was very professional and addressed all of our concerns. My lab work was done immediately and my diagnosis was explained. I wish this was a primary care facility because I would use Dr. Malizia as my primary physician. Within 24 hrs. of my visit, I received a follow-up telephone call, asking how I was doing with the medication. Thanks to Dr. Malizia and Ivy Urgent Care, we now have our go-to medical center.

Dealing with the professional at urgent care was great. Trying to get the results of covid 19 testing terrible. System did not recognize my name and locked me out of the systemNo phone number to call for assistance. I will go in person. Hopefully i will get my results .

First time in this practice. They took me in right away. Dr.Malizia is very thorough, knowledgeable and caring. If you go here or any Northwell urgent care, you will get the best care possible, no doubt!

I did get the antibiotic I needed but when I said could he look in my left ear, I think its making me feel off balance, he said its fine & left. They get $120. I was told, for 5 minutes of their time. They should be ashamed. I called the company & left a message but of course no one returned the call.

I visited Northwell last Wednesday. I had started an antibiotic that had expired a month earlier because I wasnt feeling well. (I have asthma and didnt want to take any chances) Felt like a sinus infection coming on. I get into the office and Im talking to the Dr. and I tell him that I started the antibiotic and if he could write me a new one. I told him that Augmentin is the only one that doesnt bother my stomach and works for me. He also told me that an antibiotic is a NARCOTIC, which last time I checked, it isnt. Trust me, I do not want to be on any if I dont have to but I have had this cough for 4 weeks and it was not my asthma like he said because Ive been in the ER with asthma. This was not the same. (I havent taken an antibiotic in 2 years but I know my body). He said, Ill be the judge of that. O.k. He decided I did not need an antibiotic at all, asked to see my bottle of antibiotics that i brought with me, took them and threw them in the garbage. Needless to say, I didnt say anything at the moment because I was so taken aback. AND I wasnt going to retrieve them out of the garbage pail since everyone in there was so sick. While I respect his decision of not giving me an antibiotic, he should not be talking to me or any patient with an attitude that he knows best because he does not know my body like i do. And, I am a 57 year old woman. I was also told that people who never smoked do not get bronchitis. NOT TRUE. I know plenty of people who have it and never smoked a day in their lives. You DO NOT take someones pills and toss them. All he had to do was tell me to stop taking them and that would have been it. I do not know who he thinks he is but this is my last trip to any Urgent Care. Again, I understand not wanting to give out antibiotics, but everyone Ive been talking to has had to go back twice and ended up with bad infections. On a positive note, the staff was very nice.

Never again! They told me my son did not have strep they did a slight little swipe at the back of his throat and said the test was negative . My son still wasnt feeling well and I had in my gut that he had strep so I took him to his pediatrician and lo and behold positive for strep. Stay away the doctor is completely inept

I fell on 11/6/2019 and hurt my left leg real bad, they took me right in, x-rayed and helped me tremendously. I highly recommend this office, the doctor and staff are wonderful. Dr. Rosaria Trovello was wonderful, patient, kind and took great care of me. Thank you!

Love this office but completely disappointed about being turned away due to not having an appointment. What is the point of an URGENT care if i cannot be cared for URGENTLY ? My jaw is literally going NUMB from an ear infection and it doesnt matter because i dont have an appointment ? I understand covid is here but, what the hell?

Vertual appointment was excellent where she followed up with my appointment. The care was professional and met all my expectations!! I am very pleased with the care I was given .

I live in bullshead and come across the island to this one even though my girlfriend is right around the corner, I come here because the staff is always excellent. The P.A Josh Stone I would make my primary if possible lol, always takes the time to hear me out and makes sure we figure out what’s going on with me, my normal doctor is so quick to get me out of his office but here I’m made sure either everything is ok or it’ll get better, highly recommend it here 100 percent

Visited the Amboy road location several times over the last 3+ years for various injuries, illness... Etc. Everytime it is a pleasant experience. They go out of their way, knowledgeable, helpful, kind.I definitely recommend this location

Michael Demorest is a gem of a PA. He explained some interesting things to me (that my primary dr never did) about peripheral neuropathy after he examined and dxd me. And he listened to me, answering any questions I had. I only wish there was a way he could be my primary PA! A caring, kind man. Also the man who took notes while he was in the room. Im sorry that I dont remember his name. And the sweet man at the front desk who checked me in. This was my 2nd visit to this Northwell and would never go anywhere else for urgent care! Thank you to all!

Today’s staff was all very nice! Matt the PA was great! The only unfortunate part is he a float. Place was clean as usual.

I went to Northwell GoHealth for a sore throat for two days and then suddenly I also had itchy hands and feet with many little itchy red pimples. Thinking I caught Poison Ivy. I have Coxsackievirus! Mainly a children’s virus. Came across one of the front desk ladies who was very rude and turned me down for wanting to take a test. I was asked questions that I’ve never been asked when asking to take a Covid test. I needed this test for work purposes and ended up not getting one. Used to come to this urgent care all the time, I no longer will be.

Everyone was so nice and they got my X-rays done very quickly. Office was clean and care was excellent.

The moron doctor ... If he even is a real doctor wanted to perform serious surgery and cut into my thumb to remove a splinter which just needed to be forced out by a needle. His name is Dr Smith and he was completely clueless . AVOID.

If I could rate this place a zero I would. Showed up without an appointment as the location states no appointment required. Staff showed up late and were extremely rude when I tried to get service. Would not recommend THIS ocation.
