Dr. Baxter was amazing. I have seen her twice at this location and I always have a great experience. Friendly, professional and most importantly she listens.

Awesome place!Had to choose this location vs. the ones in Jersey. Best decision ever.Felt very safe with the security guard in the front and I was seen right away. Staff was very friendly and informative. Only downside is parking but its nothing out of the norm. Would come back again and would recommend someone to go to this location!

Nordia was amazing! i had anxiety about taking out my implant, but she helped me manage my stress & anxiety over the phone and in person by assuring me it would be quick and simple. The energy in the room was so pleasant and vibes did not give off doctor office which i really appreciated. also, the wait room was much more quaint- unlike the bk waiting room. i found that to be more comfortable too! Wait time was to be expected about 30 min, and the procedure was so quick and nordia was the sweetest! Really felt looked out for and cared about. Shes also really fun to talk to (: 10/10 great experience

Dr. Nordia Baxter is amazing and also the office staff. I arrived 3 minutes before my appointment and when I walked in I was greeted and taken in right away. They answered all of my questions. I waited for Dr. Baxter for about 10 minutes and then was taken to another room. She is so kind and made the procedure quick and painless! years prior to coming to this location I was scheduled at another planned parenthood for the same proceudure (Iud nexplanon implant) and did not have a pleasant experience. Overall 10/10 for this office.

Wonderful experience at PP Staten Island. I’ve been to PP Brooklyn & Manhattan, but the SI location is my favorite. I was easily able to get a last minute appointment, staff was friendly and welcoming, doctor was wonderful and clear about the procedure, I was seen with little to no wait time and was done earlier than I expected. I’ll definitely be coming back!

One of the best womens health experiences Ive ever had. Every single staff member that I interacted with during my visit (Thursday 8/10) was super welcoming. The receptionist was patient, and the nurse and NP made me feel so comfortable throughout the duration of my visit. Highly recommend, Ill definitely be back!

Been coming here for the past 2 years and all I can say is amazing work. The people who work here are very polite positive and professional. Me being a woman of color it’s is important to see someone like me who can give me honest feedback and answers in regards to my health. Wait times are not long and appointments are easy and convenient.

I came in today to get some testing done and the staff here made it a pleasant experience. I was a bit worried on my way there as i’ve never been to such a facility but all my nerves were soon calmed. The lady at the front desk was super nice and the waiting room was small but very comfortable. Everybody was very straightforward and informative as well as very professional. I very much appreciated the hospitality during these rough times. They also had lollipops that were a great touch.

Went to get birth control and it was a very fast and easy process. Extremely welcoming staff and made me feel very comfortable during my whole time there. Dr. Baxter (really hope that’s the right name lol) was the sweetest person ever :))

This was hands down one of the best doctors office experiences i’ve ever had. every member of the staff was so helpful and nice. i don’t have insurance and they helped me find temporary insurance on the spot that covered my entire visit. the nurse was so kind and made me feel so comfortable (i didn’t catch her name but she was amazing) and then nordia who inserted the implant made the experience so effortless and not at all stressful. i drove over an hour for the appointment and i’m so glad i did, i will definitely do it again for any follow ups!

I truly cannot say enough about the staff from this location. From the woman at the front desk, to the medical assistants, to the providers. Each of them truly treat you with the utmost respect and create such a safe and welcoming environment.The true star of the show is Nordia Baxter, the NP at the facility. I have had the pleasure of having her as my provider during multiple appointments, and she has provided the best women’s care I have ever received from a medical professional. She is kind, knowledgeable, understanding, and truly takes her time to walk you through every step of the appointment. There is never any discomfort around an appointment with her, which is very difficult to find in women’s health. I truly hope this facility gives her the proper recognition she deserves, because she exceeds all expectations one can have when receiving care.Side note: I drive all the way from NJ just because the Staten Island location is so highly rated and has provided the best care

Everyone was so wonderfully kind and helpful. They made me feel safe & reassured about my choices and they also gladly answered every question I had! Doctor Nordia made my experience every welcoming. She made me feel safe and not so nervous when removing my birth control implant.

From the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and they took care of me right away. They spent a long time to talk to me and do the annual exam to make sure I’m healthy, safe, and all my needs are taken care of. It was such a great experience and I would recommend to anyone in need of these services.

Dr. Baxter is very professional, and kind, she explains everything. I left the office happy, took care of my reason for the visits, and left with some knowledge. Overall everyone that works there is very nice and helpful

Had the pleasure of visiting this Planned Parenthood recently and it was fairly easy to schedule an appointment online. Maria is very friendly and answered all of my questions. It was great meeting her!Ive been a patient of Dr. Baxter for over a year and she is wonderful so I followed her to this location. She has a great bedside manner, is attentive to concerns, and always makes sure that I am comfortable. Dr. Baxter is very thorough in explaining things and helped resolve an issue I was experiencing. Thank you for all that you do!

The nurse practitioner was very helpful with the health issue I had, and they were able to do testing in the same visit. Given how Planned Parenthood is targeted I appreciate having security at the door.However, the physical location is very inaccessible; I had to struggle to fit my rollator through doorways and hallways, and I’m not sure if a wheelchair user would be able to access this location, even if they were able to transfer to the exam table.

Everyone in the office was very professional , and kind. Dr.Baxter explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. Definitely left feeling happy with my visit.

I had an appointment for 2:20. I had to schedule it 2 weeks in advance as it was the earliest available in planned Parenthood and it is around an hour and and a half from my place in Brooklyn and requires 3 buses.I arrived 18-20 minutes late due to a bus breaking down and it Ture d out much longer than Google maps advised it is.They have a grace period of 15 minutes.They did not see me. The place does not take walk-ins, the patient before me was still waiting. If I have arrived on time I would have still been waiting.There were only 3 people waiting, including me.I definitely did not cause any inconvenience by my delay.I explained how it took me an hour and a half, one of the 3 buses I needed to take broke down, and I have waited 2 weeks for this appointment.I dont believe they treat everyone this way. When I understood how dismissive they were. I asked the receptionist if she can see for a month whom they would allow late and whom they dismiss. She got defensive, claimed I am saying she cant do her work, told me I dont know how schedule work and she doesnt need to explain it to me, that she feels I need to leave and she doesnt want to help reschedule.Before that, some woman came from inside to check, I guess my looks told her she doesnt want to accommodate me.I cant help believe they dont dismiss people like that if they looked more like them. If they do dismiss everyone then they are not doing their job with compassion and using the rules to do less work when the idea of schedule is to keep things organized, help as many people as possible, and not to add unnecessary hardship.It was awful.

This was my first visit to this location and I must say the staff was very professional. I did not make an appointment but I was able to see the physician in a timely fashion. She was extremely thorough and kind. She was very patient and took the time to answer all of my questions. Highly recommended! I will definitely return to this particular PP in the future should the need arise.

Dr. Baxter was so thorough with me and made me feel extremely comfortable with the appointment. I tend to get very antsy because I do not like to get examined but she made me feel super at ease and answered all the questions I had. I am very glad she was the one to see me and I very much hope I get to see her again next time I have to go to PP. Great service 👍🏼

I was so nervous about having an IUD put in, and literally every single person at this center was beyond kind, understanding and so, so helpful. I live in Astoria and this was the only location offering a same-day appointment, so I made the trek out to Staten Island and it was so worth going all the way out there. Ive never had better treatment from a medical office in my 15+ years in NYC. Truly respectful and kind people offering women help in any way they need. I cant recommend this place enough.

Was my first time here and I do not have words to describe!!! The nurse, doctor, and the front desk lady were amazing and they treated me so nice! Even the nurse and the doctor there explained everything in details and If I did not understand something they tried to explain it to me again with patience. My experience could not have been better at planned parenthood Staten Island. It is an incredibly comforting and calming environment with staff and providers who make you feel completely at ease. I was treated with such kindness and had all of my concerns very thoroughly addressed. I highly recommend this clinic!

Excellent clinic, highly recommend. Walked in for an annual gyno exam including pap smear and a refill on my birth control. i was uninsured at the time but they helped me find temporary insurance to cover it. Very professional and friendly clinic offering a wide away of services to help women and foster womens health.

Dr. Nordia Baxter is the best she actually listens to my problems unlike other gynecologist I’ve came across. She solves my problems instead of just writing me a prescription to send me off like the others only for me to soon return with the same recurring problem. I will travel an hour away just to be seen by Dr.Nordia Baxter. She is very skillful and Intelligent. Her first impression was everything! I finally found a doctor i am comfortable with. Dr. Nordic Baxter is exceptionally patient and helped me understand my diagnosis and gave me great advice, she also has great bedside manners and is very good at her job she even provided with a contact number to contact her if I needed some questions answered of I had any other concerns she is a great doctor and made me feel comfortable talking about uncomfortable topics.

I went here to get an IUD insertion. At first I was worried because I tend not to trust providers in Staten Island from past poor experiences at small practices, so I usually go into the planned parenthood in the city. But everyone I encountered here was so friendly and welcoming which made me feel so comfortable.It’s a smaller office but I was the only one in the waiting room which I think they plan so there isn’t several people in a waiting room at once. I didn’t have to wait long AT ALL. And for the first time it felt like I wasn’t being rushed in and out and that they really took the time to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable.I totally recommend this location. I’m so glad I don’t have to commute into Manhattan for gynecological care now lol.

I had a great experience at PP staten island. I was looking to get a copper IUD and it was really easy to register online. all of the staff were very approachable and helpful; they explained the IUD process and possible alternatives if necessary. I was also able to get an std test and my first pap smear so you if need a general check up I would recommend here. Everything was done in around an hour and I would definitely visit again.

Dr. Nordia Baxter was my visiting doctor today in Trenton NJ Office. She was so professional hard working young an intelligent. She did a great job and was so good at her work. How professional she was. Thanks for my 2nd booster and making my life easier today through this pandemic. I always choose Planned Parenthood.

I was super nervous about getting a nexplanon implant, as it was my first time, but the staff was super professional and welcoming and couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable. Will definitely be coming back for any other of my reproductive health needs. Zero complaints.

Everybody was so nice, oh my god, I went there for implant removal, when I put it in in another pph it was painful. This time Nadia was so gentle and patient and it wasn’t painful at all. Worth the travel, everybody was so nice

A great provider of healthcare. Planned Parenthood is convenient and affordable with or without health insurance.The place is small in size, but feels very welcoming. For years I used private practice OBGYNs, underwent unnecessary tests and examinations, waited weeks for appointments just to have a prescription for BC. I didnt know that Planned Parenthood was so convenient, otherwise I would have switched sooner. Thank you!

I made an appointment and when I showed up there were six people in front of me and two hour wait time. Its a very small waiting area so people are crammed together in a small sitting area. This would be the last place I would go to if I needed medical attention. Dicey area too.
