If I could do no stars, I would!! This place truly is the worst even if you are an existing patient it takes months to get an appointment and I mean months almost a year kind of months of a wait .. Then they’ll call you a week before your appointment and say they need to reschedule and guess how long you have to wait again overall I’ve been waiting over a year to get an appointment at this place. You would think it’s royalty. I did and just go somewhere else because even when you do get the appointment, you’re waiting there for hoursMy appointment was at 1 PM I didn’t get seen till three and I didn’t leave until 430 which is absolutely ridiculous and it’s not a one time thing it is consistently like that, which is why I switched my office to somewhere else. I highly suggest you do the same.

I just moved to Staten Island and had to find a place for me. The girl that attended my phone call her name is Melanie. She was so welcoming and comforting. When I meet her in person even more awesome. Thank you for making it a good experience.

Stop scheduling patient visit during the lunch time!! It is a completely waste of time, reject any appointment between 11:30am and 1:30pm.You will only see all the nurse, technician, doctor walking around with their lunch box and do nothing!!

Avoid this clinic at all costs, unless you are willing to block out your entire day to wait hours after your appointment time to be seen. My initial appointment last week was supposed to be at 9:45 and I did not end up leaving until well past midday. Now, for my follow-up appointment, the pattern seems to be repeating and I am still waiting to be seen over an hour after my appointment. I understand that delays are sometimes inevitable, but, judging by both my experience and the other reviews, this is the standard here and the staff seem completely unfazed by that fact. I have never seen a health establishment show such a flagrant disregard for their patients—and don’t even get me started on the parking!

This place is the worst. One time I was here 4 hours for a follow up. An hour and a half PLUS in the waiting room multiple times. Weather you show up an hour early or 10 minutes ahead, prepare to lose an entire day sitting in this waiting room and even when you get called back…guess what, more waiting!

This clinic is beyond a disgrace unacceptable behavior and poor bedside manner I so l never come back and it’s so unsanitary looks like nothing gets cleaned nor wiped down or dusted. I do paperwork every single time I come in and MA’s doesn’t even do there job properly doesn’t even ask question they need to be retrained in there field.

The wait time is at least 2 hours after your scheduled appointment. Joan is the manager at this facility and when I voiced my concern and gave a suggested solution her response was “all suggestions are welcomed”. I wasn’t asked how long I had been waiting, there was no apology and it honestly felt as if she could care less. If it wasn’t for Dr. Grube and the girls I would never step foot in this facility. Hopefully the higher ups can implement some new policies or make an improvement in management.

I’m sick of this place horrible doctors MD AND PA THEY DONT CARE! THEY NOT EVEN DOCTORS not ALL HORRIBLE THEY I DONT KNOW ABOUT endometriosis not ever that much !! Always upset there and they don’t f a help !

Went for a sonogram and didn’t see the waiting room move at all. Apparently there were still 2 people ahead of me when I asked how much longer until I was called in and I was already waiting an hour past my waiting time.

Great doctors but very hard to get a call back from staff to make an appt

I had to switch doctors 30 weeks into my pregnancy, due to a change in insurance. I was having a hard time finding a practice that would take me so far along and was eventually pointed in the direction of a Center for Women’s Health. When I first called, I spoke to a nice woman on the phone who got me an appointment for the next day and took my insurance info over the phone. I was very relieved after calling over 10 different offices on the Island and no one would take me. When I went in the following day, the staff at the front desk were extremely polite to me and helpful. I waited no longer than 15 minutes to get seated in a room, and it only took that long because I was filling out the paperwork. I saw a midwife by the name of Kathy who was super friendly and made my experience very comfortable. I then saw a nurse named Angela who spent almost an hour with me just giving me all the information I needed and answering all my questions. They showed a great deal of care and concern for my baby and I. I’m not sure why this place has such low reviews, but my experience so far has been great. I’m excited to continue my pregnancy journey with them.

Front desk and scheduling staff were pleasant, some employees nicer than others. I only waited about 20 min, which I was surprised about given previous reviews and hearsay from others. I saw Dr. DeAneglis who is an amazing provider! The only negative aspect of this office visit from my personal experience is the parking situation, which is difficult on busy Seaview Ave.

Great music. Professional every time I go. I wish when we make appointments that they are ON TIME because I plan my life around my appointment and don’t have 1hr 30 min to just wait after my appointment time. But other than that I have been going here years and love them. No babies just for Gyno appointments and silly questions. Cannot find anyone around here as good as them. I also use any doctor in the office. Nobody specific they are all great and professional.

These people never answer the phone, & when they do they just transfer you from person to person. They dont answer the phone between 12-2pm everyday and whenever youre unlucky enough to finally reach someone they will be so rude and nasty to you.If youre also unlucky enough to schedule and appointment be prepared to pay for street parking and wait over an hour and a half to two + hours every time and have them forget youre even there. This place treats you like cattle. The reviews speak for themselves. I have no idea how this place is even still in business. They need to be shut down immediately. I also had such a horrible birth experience with these doctors but based off the reviews that are already on here, I dont even need to write about that story. Want to get your medical records from this place? Forget it, they wont give you anything. RUN. FAST.

I had an appointment today at 10:30. I arrived at 10:25am. By the time it was 11:30am I tell the front desk I have been here for an hour, I was then told the doctor you are seeing is running behind and you have one other person in front of you. Mind you I also have a 8 month old baby with me. So, at 12pm I am then called to the examination room and I am told we are sorry for the wait it was the front desk ladies who didn’t check in patients correctly. They are suppose to check according to appointment time they were checking in by who came first which is wrong. So the medical assistant leaves and now it’s 12:20 and still no doctor and it’s going on 2 hours I have been waiting and my daughter has been in her car seat stroller for 2 hours and very irritated. So, I got up and left it was a waste of my time which it isn’t always easy for me being I have three children and tending to my needs and having to bring my 8 month old isn’t always easy. Not only is the front blaming the back but it is so rude,unprofessional, and un organization to not have consideration for patients time. I will not return. Went across the street and made an appointment there. Now I see when the reviews are horrible for this clinic.

Lack of professionalism and ZERO respect for time!! My appointment was for 2:15, I arrived at 1:50pm. I was taken to the exam room at 3:20pm. I am in the back undressed on the examination table waiting to be seen and it’s 4:15 still no one. ZERO consideration to say it will be a few moments longer ; sorry for the inconvenience, we are running behind schedule; NOTHING! I am contemplating walking out, but then that will be even more of a waste of time. At this point my phone is about to die and I am using my last bit of battery to express how unsatisfactory this place is. What shame they would have pregnant women , mothers waiting so long knowing the amount of things we have to juggle on top of being a mother. NEVER AGAIN.Ladies have some respect for yourself and seek another physician. 4:25 the physician walks in and is professional and kind. I tell her about the unacceptable wait and she apologizes. She finished the exam by 4:40. She tells me to wait for a referral. Now 3 hours later I am still here ready (screaming inside). I am updating my review to 1.5 star because of the Doctor apologizing , however changes need to be made. There is no reason the receptionist left before I did.

Same as with all of the other reviews, the wait time is horrendous. Why make an 8am appointment to be seen at 10:30. It makes absolutely no sense. How can you already be that behind at 8am?? Once inside, the technicians were ok each time. Some nicer than the others but thats the only reason Im giving 2 stars. This place does not value your time.

2nd time here and will definitely b my last time here. Idk if there is 1 technician who works at this place but don’t waste your time coming here! Both times I’ve been to my appointments 15-10 mins before my actual appointment time and always b sitting in the waiting room to get seen for about 2 hours or more to get a sonogram. Not only me but other patients are always complaining about the wait time here as well. It’s horrible. Please don’t waste your time here!

Dr. Sammy Deangelis is an excellent doctor. He has a great bedside manner. He asks me questions, he listens, and really works hard to understand the patient and help them. He is definitely a great doctor and i will continue to go to him. Also, the waiting room is never overpacked, instead, I find that they never overschedule their patients, (which a lot of offices do).

Just delivered my baby with them and I have no complaints. The front desk staff is very helpul and nice and the doctors took very good care of us. I’ve heard they sometimes have long wait times, but that was not my experience. It is true that you can’t get through on the phone, so after getting frustrated I just always made appointments in person.

Have been waiting an hour and a half already just for an ultrasound and still waiting to be called back. Front desk lady very rudely was on the phone with security and threatened to kick me out for having my mask off to eat a few bites of my honeybun after waiting here an hour wearing it the whole time. (There is a vending machine in the waiting room but don’t bother getting anything from it if you’re not allowed to eat it) edit: I didn’t get called back until 2 hours. When I brought my paper to schedule another apt the same receptionist on the phone didn’t bother to acknowledge me and set my apt time on her own without asking if it was ok. I would stay far away from this place if I were you.

No stars at all from me..... Made an appointment for my mom and a day before her appointment they left a msg that her appointment had to be changed. When I tried to call back several times, always got recording and a busy signal. When finally got a person, Cynthia, she was polite, however told me there was no appointment in the system for my mom, ever. We are not going there. Finding a different place.

Horrible Experience Overall, Rude Staff, Lack of Consideration for Peoples Time During Such a Sensitive Time for Women. (Motherhood)My Wife and I have waited for over an hour every single one of her sonograms, Today we waited 2 hours. I feel that in this current climate of Covid cases going up, pregnant women should not have to wait 2 hours in a waiting room as they are even more susceptible to contract the virus. these people should be ashamed of themselves.

Don’t go there please check another doctor for your child birth.

My god if you are required for a follow up appointment the scheduling is the worst. For two weeks now I have been trying to reach the follow-up-front-desk and they never pick up or return the messages.

Have been calling them for HOURS to make an appointment for ultrasound. Its my third ultrasound in the past two months and all three times their clerks have been incredibly rude, putting me on hold for 15-20 min (EACH CALL) before hanging up on me (EACH CALL), lecturing me on how understaffed they are, how unhappy with their jobs. Wait time for ultrasound is unbelievable - two to three HOURS off of your appointment time, and yes, I come at least an hour early. I HAVE BEEN A PATIENT HERE FOR 15 YEARS (BECAUSE OF PEGGY COSSEAN, WHO IS THE BEST MIDWIFE IN UNIVERSE), BUT I AM SWITCHING AWAY FOR MY ULTRASOUNDS AND ALL OTHER PROCEDURES NOW and will see my doctor at her new private office. Enough is enough.

They need to learn how to be a lot more attentive to women who are late in pregnancy, and not degrade them for making late appointments. Hows about not giving us roundabouts and lying saying, ok Ill have to talk to one our head nurses, and well call you back. Ive waited for two weeks for a call back. I call back to see whats going on and I still get the same response. TO HELL WITH THIS PLACE! If your expecting to have a beautiful child, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE they will only brush you off like as if your another cattle waiting for the slaughter.

I got there at 11am for my 11:30am appointment. After patiently waiting until 1:45pm, I had to leave to pick my child up from school. This is the second time I waited over an hour for my sonogram. If we make appointments should our whole day be reserved just for that ?

I absolutely loved Kathy Vigianni, but the front office itself is nasty and unprofessional. I accidentally lost track of days… (new mom life) and winded up missing my appt. When I called to reschedule my 6 week post partum appt, the girl was very rude and got nasty with me when i said I wasnt going to take they’re next available for 3 weeks later……. do better sis, i wasn’t even upset about it I just said i simply cant wait that long & ill try anothee gyenecologist.

I would like to give this place 0 STARS. First and last time I come here. When I first came inside after talking to staff numerous times on the phone confirming my appt and what I am here for, Im told to call my gyno and have them fax over the referral because they dont know why Im here. Still waiting over 2 hours for sonogram and staff is rude. Women before me who looks alot more pregnant than me was very upset and crying about having to wait much longer. They were not nice to her or her spouse. I will find new place I dont care how far I will travel it must be better than here. No wonder they got rates 1.5 stars on google and everybody seems to have the same problems here. NOT WORTH IT THIS isnt how pregnant woman (or anybody) should be treated

I went there for first trimester screening. My appointment was at 4pm. I got there at 3:50p and wasnt seen till 5:45p for a 10 minute ultrasound, then was told to go wait again for blood work, (which the procedure was only 5 minutes) that took almost another hour of wait time. Basically i left almost 7pm.....7pm!!!! For 2 things!! All the while there were scarcely any patients. Smh! This place sucks!! Have consideration for pregnant women. Sheesh.

I had a decent doctor Dr. Davido back in 2015 with my last child, the hospital labor and delivery was good to me. I’m now 9 months pregnant, and I have to say at 16 weeks with this pregnancy I had to leave this clinic I couldn’t take it. I have hypermesis, whole entire pregnancy I was sick, dehydrated, I was in the hospital twice to three times every week or other week, calling this clinic for anything is a joke nobody picks up the phone nor calls back no time soon or at all.. they wasn’t understanding and on top of my type of pregnancy how they should of been.. I kept getting different people because all of sudden everyone vacations at the same time so it’s like I kept repeating my problem over and over again, I was losing so much weight, they kept taking way too many blood works I felt like a science project. The wait time sometimes short than sometimes way too long even when your on time.. the sonogram staff can be rude as hell I remember waiting over 2 hours.. the sonogram doctor had my paperwork next to her the whole time just sitting there in the office doing whatever because the receptionist is the one who had to remind her I’m still here.. I don’t know what’s up with some of these doctors or workers people these days want a check they put no love into their job.. I ended up just switching completely even though I still have hypermesis and it won’t go away until baby born my current doctor has done more and has given me medication that at least help me get to the point I am now..

This place is horrible. The wait time is really excessive. When you finally make it into the room its another 15 or 20 min wait for the dr. to come in. The staff at the desk are ok but they act like they have a attitude when you question them about your place in line. When you call this place you get the run around and the dr. doesnt return your calls. You will be lucky if you actually get to talk to someone because that voicemail message always plays. I will not be going here anymore!

I had been a patient here for 6 years. Both of my pregnancies were led by the physicians from Center For Womens Health. Everyone here is extremely nice. The staff, the medical assistants, the nurses, the doctors, EVERYONE. I will continue coming back here.

Took us 2 hours to be seen after a 4:30pm appointment. When we go to the back we see doctors playing computer games Medical assistants joking around chit chatting or shopping online as if they dont have patients in the front. The staff is rude and very impersonal. If you dont ask them questions they dont say anything. This place needs a change.

The sono /ultrasound location downstairs has horrible customer service . They make you wait long . When you have an appt for a set time they call you 2 hours later. Staff is very unprofessional , and unfriendly !! Julia said a rude comment while being on the phone when I called to ask a medical question . The person name daisy who answered the phone hung up on me 2 times when I called . I will rather go somewhere else rather than come down here to deal with unprofessional people .

The woman named Lousia sitting in the front desk was very rude and unhelpful. She was being insensitive towards my condition and that upset me a lot. I got told to come at a certain time but they still made me wait for a extra hour

They overbook multiple patients at the same appointment time and sometimes I end up waiting over two hours just to get seen 10 min. Ridiculous!! Never able to get through to front desk as apparently all lines are connected to just one even if they have options for you to choose different extensions which makes no sense!

They are ok. The wait time isnt the greatest so be ready but its worth a bundle of joy. I been to a few hospitals thus one of the best so far... Omg if they only new after all of that wht im going through. I wish i was still l8ving over by there

As most others have written, this is the WORST place to schedule the simplest of things, like making an appointment!! Ive been a patient for years because of DR Wortman, a superior OBGYN. Since his retirement last year, this place has went down hill. Ive called 5x over the course of one month, left 5 messages on an ANSWERING MACHINE, and NO ONE HAS bothered to contact me! And this is simply to confirm they authorized a script for a follow up mammography, which to no surprise, they NEVER authorized! Needless to say, I found myself another OBGYN.

This Place is a Waste of Time.Dr Deangeles is a Great Doctor but The Staff sucks. If you go to this place you better be ready to sit for about an Hour an half because you wont be seen at the time of your Appoinment.It should also be known that you will be put on hold for a while for scheduling appointments or just for info.Be expected to be transfered to many staff then be asked to call back later. Very dissapointed

Horrible doctors. Just came out the hospital for high risk miscarriage the hospital wanted me to see my doctor within tht week the hospital put me on bedrest. I went to the doctor she didnt do a ultrasound she didnt put on paper for me to remain on bedrest but said she advise I dont go back to work. All she did was check my blood pressure and weight. Lost 20 pounds she didnt even question it! Im 6 months pregnant I only have one ultrasound from her n one sonogram from the doctor down stairs! This clinic consently cancels appointments at last minute then reschedule then cancels again! Horrible doctors!

I called to find out which doctors work there, if they take my insurance and to possibly make an appointment. Simple, right? After several unsuccessful selections, even the choice to make an appointment was answered by a recording asking me to leave a message. No Way!

Besides the points made in all the comments below, the center is sending bills now for some ridiculous hospital facility fees for doctors visits, without even disclosing those fees before or after the visit. Have been going there for years because I really like my doctor, but now resolving to never go back again.

I give it a 5 star for my doctor, he is truly the best. Its the office and front desk that are terrible. They need to get people in there that are friendly and like their job. Very few that work there, have a nice attitude.

A very long waiting time, i was my appointment time 10:15am but i waited two hours very terrible.I already come on time several times, but an appointment with a doctor or an ultrasound takes more than two hours wait.

Waited 2 hours to get an ultrasound. The technician who did the ultrasound was nice but I cant get over the wait time. For this reason, I hope not to have to go there again.

The staff at the CWH was absolutely the best staff i have ever encountered. They all made my experience as easy andcomfortable as possible.

No one answers the phone. I left various messages concerning that I was having side effects from a medication that I was prescribed for an overactive bladder. NO ONE has called me back. This is NO WAY to treat patients.

I called to find out the time of my appointment and they didnt know. She said she would call me back. Day later I call, have me on wait for over 10 minutes so I just hung up... they need more staff!

I wish I could give them zero star, because when I asked from ultrasound receptionist for ultrasound result she answered we don’t release record to patient. How ridiculous .please don’t go there because staff is like look busy do nothing.

I’ve given this place one star because it is not possible to write a review with no starts. This is the worst health establishment I have ever stepped foot into. I am going to go out of my way to make sure I never have to come back here. I waited 2+ hours for a 15 minute Sonogram and the staff was walking in and out of the building getting food and taking phone calls. Avoid this place at all costs!!

Its frustrating, my appointment was at 9:30, its 11:28 and they didnt call me, its too much considering that my pregnancy is high risk.

They are a disaster.A year ago I had my appointment with the gynecologist and they canceled me for another date.When I arrived for my appointment and they told me that I dont have an appointment and that the appointment is for another date. If I had another date, they would call me to confirm for the date that supposedly wasnt. No, my appointment is next month.I mean, I dont understand why theyre playing. We dont have time for those things.We as mothers dont have time. We have to find someone to take care of the children.Very bad attention. I dont recommend them.
