Family Urgent Care

Except for the front desk, person who didn’t seem to have any of my insurance information or my co-pay information in check which was provided on my visit just a few days before all was good! Nurse practitioner was amazing. This was the second visit that I had had in just, four days because I was Covid positive and having a lot of symptoms. Once I had my visit, I felt very well cared for, very assured and comfortable.

I have to take my son there today there was one other girl and that was it. And I had questions for the so-called nurse and we literally were in there forever. She never came in so then I picked my head out the door and ask if anybody is going to come and take a look at my son. She says oh I dont do that.You dont do what that attitude?Keep in mind, no attitude on my end.It was an attitude on her and poor customer service by the nurse that was there today horrible! I have her name and will be reporting her for treating myself and my son so horrible!

6 star service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Absolutely wonderful stuff, professional service.Went in because my leg was numb, within one week it was found out that I have several disc problems in my back. However, all of this was found out by the urgent Care! Many people wait months and years to figure out the problem. And my problem wasnt even in my back, I received the absolute best care then I am ever received it any one of my doctors offices.* I will definitely be a return customer, and have been a return customer since!They were able to set everything up for me, for the specialist the referral everything they were just absolutely wonderful, and wonderful service! Just to mention.. every time I called my provider called me back. Which was very important to me, considering the issues that I was going through!6 stars 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 🤩

Medical has Evolved to a much different type of experience . Even with these different options of care, Latonya will make sure her patient is comfortable and display the necessary value of care for her Patient’s concern, care and medical needs.I appreciate her and her assistant they were great. She was easy to talk and very down to earth. I like this place. I was in and out and well taken care of.Thank guys .

Easy to book a telemedicine appointment. Same day service. Short wait time. Video call was good quality both in picture and sound. Physician was understanding that its difficult to find dentists on Medicaid. Prescribed needed medications. Absolutely recommended.

Excellent service! Glad I came when I did and everyone from the admin staff to the physicians were amazing, awfully courteous during my visit! I learned a lot on this trip and will be my future stop for my next life mishap or sumac bush fiasco!

Went in for an infection. The scheduling and paperwork was easy to do. The nurse practitioner who treated me was kind and treated my issue with ease in a quick and easy virtual appointment. They also take Medicaid for both virtual and in person visits.

Scheduling my appointment online was super easy and the check-in was straight to the point “I’m here.” The staff were nice and treated me with care, and the NP I saw, Gina, was super nice and knowledgeable I had no doubt I will seek her care again in the future. Thank you!

My doctor provided attentive care, addressing all my concerns with patience and expertise. The urgent care staff were efficient and compassionate, making a stressful situation much easier to handle. Overall, I felt incredibly supported and well-cared-for during my medical visits.

Lisa is amazing! My 6 year old son had an accidental fall and needed stitches. He was very nervous and did not want to cooperate. Lisa was so patient with him and helped him to calm down. She did the stitches very quickly, and they healed so nicely, no complications whatsoever.  We would definitely recommend Family Urgent Care to our friends and family.

I went in for my yearly poisin ivy/oak rash that I try so very hard not to get, but then I always do end up with it. I always get seen fairly quickly. They do everything they can to help and comfort me, usually a shot :) I love Family Urgent Care, Im always treated like family there from the receptionist to nurse and Dr. (Np)

These are the nicest and concerned staff that I have met in a while. They were respectful and patient. I was in and out of the office in 10_15 minutes.

Ive been dealing with a super sore throat and swollen glands for 5 days now. Also fevers, headaches, chills. I didnt want to drive anywhere so I booked a video appointment. Im so glad I did! Dr. Thomas was exceptional, attentive, caring, understanding, and informative. I would absolutely love to have him as my primary care physician, but hes in Ohio. 😭 I will, without a doubt, recommend Dr. Thomas to anyone looking. Thank you Family Urgent Care and Dr. Thomas! ❤️

Everytime I go in always an issue! The front desk lady with short dirty blonde hair is always rude. I always end up leaving to go to Midwest which is 1000 times better! I went to take my son yesterday made an appointment like I always do for 405, got there around 350 she told me I had to leave and come back in like a half hour … isn’t that what an urgent care is for? I made an appointment for a reason. I went to Midwest was in and out by the time she told me to come back. Last time I went in before that she didn’t bill my insurance after I sent it in and kept telling me they wouldn’t see me till I paid the $200 bill that was from THEM not billing my insurance. We called again when the other front desk lady was there she was amazing and got me in but she’s rarely ever there, the nurses and doctors are great tho.

Super clean facility, smooth sign in/registration, excellent staff! I was in the building no longer than a 1/2 hour from start to finish. Lisa was beyond phenominal and got straight to the point, didnt make me feel bad about ignoring my symptoms (until it started effecting my day to day) and had my problems solved and prescriptions filled in record time! This visit was such a positive experience that if I have any future issues I wont hesitate to stop in for a visit!

Staff was very friendly. The NP on staff was so nice, but professional. . I felt like it was my mom coming to check on me.

BEFORE i begin I am not a complainer or ever say anything negativity about anyone orAny place of business. I hate to be lied too. I have been a patient of Dr sheikh for over a year now. I was seeing his NP Lisa most of the time but she no longer works there due to them over working her and treating her unfailrly as they do all there employess. Now Dr A. SHEIKH has referred me out to there Drs and lied about giving me my last refill. When u call the office they say they will have it taken care of but nothing is done. I was suppose to have a prescription filled yesterday because he called in wrong strength on earlier visit now Im on day 2 of not having my meds.Reason I go early so my prescription is there on my refill date. I left a voicemail no response. Once they see my phone number they put me on hold for a good 10-15 minutes. Today I am being told he isnt back in the office til Monday. I DONT recommend Family Urgent Care to anyone no more. The one I have have already changed Drs also. IDK how a Dr can just lie about filing your script and allow his patient to be in pain knowing the patient has pinched nerve in neck and compression fractures in back along with a goofball size cyst on her ovary. Not getting any pain management from any other Dr due to receiving them from my Primary Care Dr and dont have a appointment with pain management til June.P.S I would be more than happy to take a drug screen if asked. Im not a drug addict just a patient that is in pain.

My appointment went smooth. I felt as if I was being heard while discussing the health issues that I am experiencing. I didnt feel rushed and as if my caregiver was indeed concerned about my health.

Dr Lisa is AMAZING, she’s so nice, and very thorough, the nurse there was also amazing!!! Will continue to go back there, and Leah, at the front desk is amazing also, I starting getting hives while in their office, and dr Lisa was ON IT!!!!!

My today’s visit at this clinic was went very nice. Receptionist and other clinical staff was very helpful, clinic and the room was very clean. I will refer you all to go there.

It was my first time there and I got right in. The front desk girl, nurse, and Dr were sll very kind and helpful.

I’ve been to family urgent care multiples times and always had a great experience with the staff and providers. Dr. Sheikh is my favorite provider and really cares for all of his patients!

The Secretary is the sweetest she always answers in a kind voice and does everything she can for you within and beyond her job makes coming thru the door a pleasent experience, The Dr.s and the NPs are so very kind. They take their time to find out all of the issues you are feeling and all that you have. I love Dr. Sheikh and trust him with the health of my life, I have been with Dr. Sheikh and his associates for over 20 years. I moved with him when his office moved. I pray he doesnt move farther away but I will if necessary to be able to contunue to see him. That says trust and faith right there. If your in need of a Dr. Dr. Sheikh and his partners are ones to be trusted. Lisa you make it so comfortable the fear of the Dr. Dissapears. Thank you for all you do and for listening to me. And taking such good care of me and your patients.

Lisa was INCREDIBLE!! I came in last week for one situation, and then came back today worried about an injury that had just happened, and she handled both situations with kindness and compassion. She was extremely calm and knowledgeable, which helped calm my nerves. Definitely love her!!

Office got us in very quickly, the front office staff was super friendly and Dr. was great.

Still a problem with my Rx!! My xray wasn’t sent in to hospital. They don’t have a xray technician. The care is terrible.  Was told by dr Sheikh that my Rx were sent in they ARE NOT. was to have a xray at hospital. Order wasn’t sent! Lied to by the staff. Still waiting on my pain medicine. I’ve called numerous times. I’m still in terrible pain.

Ive been coming here for awhile. Its always been good. Leah, the receptionist and nurse has been there through it all, years, and shes still just as wonderful as day 1. This round of doctors they currently have in place, are so very wonderful. I highly recommend Lisa and Thomas. They were pleasant and I felt very comfortable. While the wait times are usually very minimal, there can be occasions where it might be slightly longer. I have never waited over an hour, usually in and out in less than an hour. You wont regret coming here.

This place has gone downhill tremendously. My kids & I have been here multiple times and have always seen Lisa Meaker & had GREAT experiences. However, the last 3 times I went, things were different.1. NP Monica literally looked in my son’s ear to identify an ear infection and said “I’m trying to think back to what I learned in school to tell if he has an ear infection or not. One ear looks a little more red then the other one so we will say this one might be infected.” This was very disappointing..2. The next time I tried to take my child in, there was no NP or doctor there so they turned us away.3. The last time we went (2 weeks ago) the “doctor” didn’t even come in the room to check me out, he just prescribed me antibiotics with zero tests or results.. WEIRD. Sketchy. And the receptionist was the one who was checking my vitals and swabbing me for Covid.NP Lisa Meaker is AMAZING. She treated both my children multiple times and did so well with them. She is very very thorough and informational. 100% recommend her! However, she is no longer here so I won’t be back! I would recommend her always & will follow her wherever she goes so I KNOW my family is getting the best care!

I was seen immediately, everyone was attentive and Toya was knowledgeable, helpful and supportive .

Lisa M. goes above and beyond for her patients. We are so lucky to have found her. She’s amazing and patient with my kids and happily answers any questions we have. We will miss her dearly now that she’s leaving. The quality of care she delivers is hard to find.

Lisa is a superstar! This girl works so hard, and is amazing! The staff is so wonderful ❤️ they took the time to listen when I was going through a very difficult time. She was thorough with my sons check up, and helped me understand everything I needed to do for his after care. I highly recommend them! I have been there multiple times now, and their hours are ideal for my work schedule. They are open late and on weekends too! I cant say enough about the staff there, they have all been amazing. Highly recommended! Top notch A++++ service! I cant say enough great things about them! 💝

I am 7 months pregnant and it is somewhat difficult to find an urgent care willing to see me. Lisa went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and the medications I was prescribed were safe for me and baby! I won’t be going anywhere else for care as long as Lisa is around! She is the best!

Lisa the nurse practitioner was fabulous. She didn’t mess around. She ordered all the appropriate tests and medication’s to clear up my bacterial lung infection. She even called me with the results of the culture and assured me that the medication was appropriate for my condition.

I needed medical clearance and no one in my city could help me. After doing some research I found Family Urgent Care an hour and a half away from me. I made my appointment, and was helped by the wonderful staff there. From the moment I walked in, the secretary greeted me with a smile. She was welcoming and knowledgeable. I was also helped by Lisa who made me want to become a patient at this location after the wonderful experience I had. Definitely recommend this location!

Lisa was so wonderful in helping our whole family with the flu. She was super efficient, and had us on our way to recovery. The office was clean, quick, and everyone was very friendly. We will be back...hopefully not too soon!

EDIT: I tried to come in to see Lisa a few weeks ago, as she has helped me with a cat bite in the past. I was informed that she no longer worked there, but was also turned away because they had no MD, NP, or PA on staff to see me. Seems odd to run an urgent care with no provider; I believe only the receptionist was there.Prior:Lisa is a brilliant life saver who I completely trust with my health and well-being. I appreciate her proactivity as I was invited to partake is some free services the clinic was offering not too long ago.I’ve also had the privilege of, once upon a time, working beside her, providing radiology services. I’ve never had to seek clarification of her orders as she is a book of knowledge, ready to help you.Lisa is an asset to any practice, and I consider myself lucky to have met someone passionate about their work, and who I can trust with something I value the most… my health!

I have a history of discontent with my healthcare providers, but Lisa Meaker, FNP-C, made up for all of it. She is personable, direct, informative, and best of all, listens.

Very welcoming and hospitable staff. I came here for a dislocated shoulder, and was in and out in less than 45 minutes.

I would like to update my review after the owner contacted me and corrected the billing error. He was sincere that the charges were an error not fraudulent and apologized for the communication failure. As a consumer I value transparency and follow through. If you visit this clinic just insure you know the up front out of pocket costs before receiving service.I wish zero stars was possible. Customer service and billing accuracy doesnt exist here. Beware examine your billing statements closely. My son went in for a Covid test before returning to campus. We were charged for medications he didnt receive, a breathing treatment he didnt receive. Repeated efforts to contact billing department unresponsive in person and over the phone. This is fraud charging for services not administered. Never returning here ever.

Lisa was awesome! She called and assessed me because she was concerned I was having a medical emergency. I was not and she sent my prescription to the pharmacy immediately after assessing me. Thanks Lisa!

Excellent staff I have no complaints! Got a shot in the rump(not my first) the gentleman taking care of me was so smooth I barely felt it go in! Most hurt like crazy but this guy was extremely good at what he does! Highly recommend to anyone in the area that needs checked out! Sent my meds over immediately and I had them from the pharmacy in about 10 min after I got there!

This place came highly recommended to us by a close friend. My wife came yesterday to treat our daughter and Eric the NP ended up sending my wife out with treatment too, as he discovered bronchitis in her.Leah the receptionist was here and my wife loved her bedside manner as well, today Leah was here again, and treated us so well with warmth and friendliness and was very welcome.Lisa the NP treated our son today, and was amazing as well.Thank you Leah, Eric and Lisa! We found our new GO TO urgent care and are NEVER going anywhere else again. We have had bad experiences at a few places with wrong prescriptions ect and didnt feel like we were in good hands.This place is where you need to go for professionals who are friendly and knowledgeable!!

I wish I could remember the name of the nurse today ...1/29/24 at 1:30pm. My daughter asked me if she can be her nurse every time we go to the doctor lol. Finding nurses that genuinely care about the comfort and well being of the patient is so hard and she was absolutely what my very nervous daughter needed today!!! Thank you to her! The nurses, doctors, and staff are the reason we continue to go here!!

Dr Lisa Meaker is great. I’ve been having ongoing issues and she is very patient with me and very caring. I highly recommend her care to anyone. I’ve seen other doctors and It seems like I get brushed under a rug every time and Lisa truly wants to help with figuring out what the issue is.thank you.I would also like to add that Leah at the front desk is wonderful too. It’s hard to come across not only a great doctor but anyone who works the front desk, who is very sweet. Keep these two together they are absolutely wonderful and I will chose this location over any place I’ve ever been to.

Had been in pain for a whole day could barely walk, decided to do a virtual doctors appointment,she was patient she let me explain didnt overstep or over talk,she not only prescribed me to meds but gave me paperwork to get a x-ray.Amazing

I just wanted to say this place is amazing everyone is so nice and it’s clean! Also Lisa is phenomenal she explains everything so well and will sit and talk with you, never makes you feel rushed to leave! This is my top choice for any of the urgent cares in the area!

We were in about a month ago and my husband and I came in for Covid test. Lisa was extremely efficient in providing the care we needed. My husbands oxygen was low and before we new it she said he already called the paramedics. We get to the hospital and thankful to her promptness we get him there and he was admitted with pneumonia. My husband as asthma and so this was necessary. She should extreme concern as if it was her own family member.On to today, I came in and guess who’s here? Yes it was Lisa I was so happy she was the on going to be caring for me today and of course she was knowledgeable, awesome bedside manners and easy to talk to. I would recommend this facility to everyone because of my experiences with Lisa.

Waited for less than 5 minutes. Got my son tested and checked within 5-10 mins of being taken back. The assistant and nurse practitioner were absolutely amazing. Definitely utilizing them again in the future

My daughters and I use this location all the time for quick, quality service. I recently used this location for a head cold I was worried might be covid. The receptionist is very helpful and kind. I get very good and fast treatment here. NP Eric Washington sits and takes the time to actually listen to your concerns. He is there for you, not a check. He is the best! Theres never alot of people in the waiting room.I recommend Family Urgent Care

NP Eric went above and beyond resolving my issue. It’s always nice to feel heard and treated like a person instead of a number. I hope his passion for the job remains until he retires. Unfortunately I do not remember the MA’s name, but she was amazing as well. I will definitely return in the future for urgent care needs.

I was able to easily schedule an appt for my 69yo mother. There was basically no wait time after getting her registered. Dr. Lisa was absolutely awesome. She was patient and she listened to all of our concerns. She followed up with my mom’s results in a timely manner. My mother doesn’t particularly like younger MDs, but she loved Dr. Lisa. I highly recommend this location.

Lisa was wonderfull. She took the time to hear all the details of my problem & followed through with prescribing medications & recommending the proper Specialist to follow up with.

I came into the office for the first time in almost a year on 10/11. Being a woman I knew that by the symptoms I was experiencing I had a uti, which is almost embarrassing already to have to go in and get checked for. I saw Kevin and his first words to me were that I had an extremely bad infection and he insisted that I get an injection. I’ve never heard of receiving an injection for a UTI so I asked him if there would be a different medication I can take. He continued to tell me that it was just too bad and I needed an injection. After I finally convinced him that I was not going to let him inject me with anything, he began to tell me that whatever it is I’m doing I need to stop immediately and take better care of my hygiene. He proceeded to place his hands in a time out position and stare at me which just made me extremely uncomfortable. He made me feel more embarrassed and uncomfortable than I already did before going in. I went back today 10/12 and saw Lisa, and let her know that I did not pick up any medication he tried to prescribe me because I did not feel comfortable enough to take it. She actually took the time to listen to how I was feeling and explained everything to me in a way that made me feel so much better and confident that the proper medication was prescribed to me. I genuinely don’t understand how a grown man, who we are supposed to be going to see to help us can make me feel so doubtful in his work. He was trying to force an injection on me that clearly wasn’t needed. But I’d like to thank Lisa again, for making me feel so much better, she leaves some hope in this office.

I recently went to Family Urgent Care for an injury. I received prompt and friendly service from the entire staff, however Lisa M went above and beyond normal expectations to ensure that I was well- informed and satisfied. She helped coordinate the next steps in my treatment. Every service provider needs employees like Lisa M. Thank you again.

Received fast service, wait wasn’t longer than 5mins after filling out paperwork . Dr made sure I left with no unanswered questions. Lady at the front desk and the guy helping the dr out in the back was great also.

Yes I have been a pt here for many years along with my mother, Father, children,grandchildren, sister, brother in law, niece and great niece and we have always been treated nice and respectful by the receptionist and whole staff there! I highly recommend Family Urgent Care for all your medical needs.

Visited Family Urgent Care today with my husband for the January Promotion which was a free B12 shot. The facility was very clean and the staff is always polite and helpful. Dr. Lisa administered our B12 shots. It was quick and painless. Dr. Lisa was kind and professional. She explained the benefits of having a B12 shot and made us feel at ease. We got in and out quickly as well. We will definitely be using Family Urgent Care for both our Primary and Urgent Care. Thank you for the B12 shots Family Urgent Care!

This location was thankfully opened on Labor Day when all other places were closed or closed early. They answered my call promptly and even told me they could assist with an antibiotic for an abcess tooth. They were friendly, quick, and efficient. They even apologized for the wait, when I felt they saw me quickly. Would come here for future urgent care needs.

Ive been here for a few visits and the staff never fail to be courteous and helpful. Dr. Lisa is amazing in her patients care and needs. I just had another positive visit with my provider Lisa. I cannot say enough about how committed she is to patient care and to her chosen profession. She always does whatever it takes to give her patients the best care possible, she explains her rationale for management and is always empathetic. She gets busy but never lets that affect her ability to follow through. I also love the fact that she is always pleasant and practices with a smile. I really hope she stays around because as long as she is at this location as a provider, I will always come there for my appointment. I also need to commend your front desk staff for what she does, always with a smile and a positive attitude, even when the office is busy, She remains professional and reassuring, thank you for all you do.

I scheduled a virtual visit for 12:15 pm and sat on a video call waiting for 40 minutes until my phone was finally dead. So I hung up.....they called right away to schedule a new appointment of course. Ive wasted enough of my time for you to tell me your wifi was messed up. Please

The staff here are very friendly and welcoming. I saw the nurse practitioner Eric. He was very thorough in his assessment. He explained what test he was ordering and the rationale for them and treatment options. He took time to review my imaging from my xray with me and explained it in simple terms.He also gave me a pain injection to alleviate the pain I was having. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Excellent patient care!

Lisa is my favorite when I go here shes always pleasant, get right to the point, and prescribes the right meds that has you feeling better in no time.

This place was wonderful! The areas were clean, the staff was super friendly. I was extremely greatfull they were open on July 4th were many urgent cares were not. Lisa and her assistant (which I’m sorry I forgot her name) were cherry and not grumpy they had to work. This is definitely a place to go to if you need an urgent care

Every time I come here, the doctors and NPs listen to my concerns completely and diagnose me correctly. Lisa M is amazing! Super nice staff and I’m quickly in and out every time

I went in feeling very sick and I was grateful I to get in right away. My visit was welcoming and right on time. The NP was informative and made me feel comfortable.

Terrible service, no indication on how to give my 1 year old his medication, and on top of dealing with a very sick 1yr old with rsv doctor L. never returned my calls about a nebulizer machine. I’m not sure if they’re prejudice towards a certain race or if this is just how they service people but they would honestly be my last resort if we needed an urgent care facility again.

I went in pretty nervous. I was uncomfortable and in pain. The nurse was so nice, then the NP came in, Eric, he was so calm and so gentle. I felt so much better when I left. He gave me a prescription and I had fantastic results within 24hrs. I definitely recommend this place.

I had a planters wart thats been bugging me for years. Dr. Sorry I forgot his name did an excellent job. Ive been coming here for about five years. Always in and out. Never had a long wait. Dr. Eric Washington is incredible in more ways than you can imagine!

Staff was EXTREMELY friendly! The wait time was maybe 10-15min tops. But overall, I felt comfortable and at ease. The ladies that helped me were amazing and gentle. I didn’t feel like I was being rushed. Asked questions and happily received answers. THANK YOU! ❤️

I just called to ask a question about payments and how they would go about it and the lady over the phone had a disgusting attitude for no apparent reason. If you have people like that working on medical and taking care of patients you need to fire them and get people who actually care about people! Never will I ever go here and I recommend people not go there and believe me I will do some calling around to report the company and the front desk person!

I had a horrible experience this week with Leah Culver behind the front desk. I wanted to show my appreciation to the NP who found me fighting leukemia at an early stage and now Im in remission. I sent a gift basket to this office with the NP name on it. I called to the urgent care to see if the NP had received the gift. Three days had passed and the NP still did not receive it. I was told to call on Monday. I called in on Monday, and Leah Culver answered the phone admitting she was the person who did indeed take the package home and opened the box . Days passed and Leah Culvernever once told the NP she had recieved the package. Upon speaking with Leah, she brought the gift basket back but it was opened and the card expressing my gratitude was not in the box with the gift basket. Leah Culver spoiled my surprise completely. She was reported to authorities.Do not send packages to the place or Leah will take them home and not say a word.

Easy to set up an appointment and Lisa the NP is great. The kids arent scared to visit and it makes sick visits easier.

They were quick and nice. Staff shouted my test results across the office. I could clearly hear it through the closed door. Did not give any after care instructions. I had a fever and i expected a recommendation for a fever reducer but didnt get one.

I was very pleased with the service. All of the staff were very helpful. I waited maybe 10 minutes in the car. When I went inside everyone was pleasant. They took my vitals, administered the test and on 20 minutes I had my results. And yes they administer the rapid test.

If I could give 0 stars I would ! I went to this place for help and I was seen. The lady at the front desk took my insurance information and ID. The dr even prescribed me some medication but then when I got to Walgreens I was told the dr canceled it because he don’t take Medicaid…. SO WHY GET MY INSURANCE INFO AND SEE ME !

Initial call to amazing Ema encouraged me to come in for services. I wanted a physical and TB. When i arrived Jamie was also amazing and very professional. I completely the adequate but short history and was seeing the awesome NP Annie!! I found out that modest Ema also places the TB test. Jaimie again exhibited EXCELLENT customer service for the TB reading done by Lisa also very Kind. Overall SUPER Great experience!! YES GO HERE!! Thanx Family urgent care!🤩🥰

Dr. Meaker and the staff at F.U.C. are not only professional, they help you feel at ease as well. They are among the very best in the NW, IN region in my opinion. Id go as far to say, if you go here for your medical needs, you will leave satisfied and feeling like you were cared for by family.

Terrific job!! Described every step my son’s treatment to him before she did it - and kept asking him if he was okay, or if he needed a break. Very helpful to him because he’s on the Autism spectrum. Would go back there in a heartbeat.

Visited this facility for the first time this week after having to cancel an appointment with my regular express care location due to an unacceptable wait time. I must say we were pleased with the service here. My appt happened on time! The staff was courteous, professional and friendly. They showed that safety was a priority. I will be using this location from now on! Very pleased!

Very nice staff! Went in for rapid test on my 12 year old who was a bit nervous. The young lady made him feel a little better. The test was quick and easy for him. In and out in minutes!

I showed up 15 min before closing with a bad wound that needed stitches. The ladies working were so kind and concerned about my cut, they instantly helped me. Got a few stitches and was out of there in like 30 min. Amazing. The ER could never.

Family urgent care is phenomenal! The care and bedside manner they showed during my urgent care visit was second to none. I was so satisfied I have switched them to my primary care doctor.

My visit in the office was great, until I had received a bill from a company outside the office, so when I called the 800 number on the bill and started asking questions to fix the issue the lady was extremely rude, it was as if it was a problem of me asking questions in regards to the bill. she ended up hanging up on me after telling me I had a copay payment and that was the reason Why I had a bill. I tried to explain to her my husband is active military and that we have no copays and that I called my insurance back and they said all they needed to do is change the billing to urgent care and not office visit since that’s why I was there. I called the 800 number back a second time and a man picked up and spoke so fast he tried to rush me off the phone and was even upset that I was asking to repeat since he spoke so fast. After telling him what my insurance said he hung up. This is why I originally gave the company a one star until Leah called to ask what was wrong, I explained to her what had happened and she was shocked to hear this. The day I called the 800 number they did change what I told them to change and the bill was instantly paid. I had a very nice conversation with Leah in the physical office and I really hope that they can change who they bill with because that billing company that they’re dealing with is giving them a very bad reputation. Leah did say they will look into the issue I had. Thank you so much Leah for helping me with this situation

Place is not the most pleasantly decorated place, definittely positively bate. But the care is absolutely attentive and caring and top notch!!! Short wait about 25 min but they rush thru nothing and listen carefully. Great experience overall.

I booked appointment with Dr. Asrar Sheikh by Zocdoc application and i was driving one hour to arrive there and when I arrived the reception simply said that the doctor is not here he is in Chicago!!!So what about my appointment?????That’s a shame.

This place is great! Its clean and its always easy to get in. I never have a very long wait and NP Meaker is so knowledgeable! I highly recommend this place for your urgent care needs.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and they took care my health issue in a timely manner. It was nice to find a place that was open at 8pm. I really appreciated the follow-up call about my lab work and knowing that I can call back and speak to someone if I have a continuing problem.

Eric was absolutely amazing . This facility is where I go for any of my PCP care . After leaving the hospital on Thursday with absolutely no resolution or care, i followed up with Eric. He sent me off for an immediate MRI, paid attention to my tests and my entire care . Best experience ever.

“Called this company’s Schererville office for a weight loss consultation over the phone because I’ve heard good reviews on their weight loss program but I live out of state in Texas. I spoke to Leah the office manager on the phone the day of my appointment and she informed me that this is something I would have to come in the office for and it couldn’t be done over the phone. I NEVER SPOKE TO A PROVIDER! Months later I received a collection notice for this bill. When I called to find out what’s going on I spoke to Cyrena on the phone that was very nice but also VERY UNHELPFUL because she told me my visit was in the Chicago office which it NEVER WAS! Now I have to follow up with my insurance company to report this as FRAUD! Be ware of fraudulent billing when using this company. THIS IS A SHAME!Update: Leah called me and was very unprofessional as soon as I verified who I was. She claimed I never talked to her and that I Spoke to the Chicago office. I know for a fact I spoke to this office, because I was recommended by a friend that said this place was awesome! She acted like she did me a favor by telling me she crediting my bill. I wonder is she’s going to send the money back to Aetna as well?!? You guys have great reviews, and I don’t doubt the service you give customers you actually see. I was asked to edit my review and the only thing I would like to add is that I suggest you guys make sure you are checking these bills and claims submitted to your insurance companies. I write down names and dates of who I speak with for this very reason.Update 8/29I just received the same bill that I was told was fixed! My family of four all went in on Sunday afternoon. We were greeted kindly, taken back quickly, and well taken care of. The staff went above and beyond for my husband, my two daughters and myself. I highly recommend this place.

For some reason, this review wasn’t showing up when I wrote it weeks ago…I cannot, for the life of me, understand how this establishment has such high reviews. I came in on Labor Day (because Midwest Express Clinic was closed) and must have gotten the third or fourth string team because my experience was nothing like these reviews. I saw Family Nurse Practitioner, Lisa Meaker, who could care less about treating me.When I came in, there was a touchscreen device at the front desk to sign in. It had fingerprints all over it and was not cleaned in between sign-ins. Pretty unsanitary for a medical facility… Before coming in, I called to see whether they took CareCredit. I was told they did. So I drove from another town but their machine wouldn’t take my card. The young woman at the desk said it was CareCredit’s fault because it was a holiday?... It being a holiday shouldn’t prevent a card from working… I called CareCredit the next day to confirm my card. There were no issues on their end. I ended up paying out of pocket (self-pay).For my appointment, I was placed in a room just off the waiting area where you can hear everything that goes in inside. A very young sick kid had just come out. Poor kid was hacking and coughing pretty badly. But when I entered, it didn’t look like the room was cleaned before I was called in. There was tissue on the floor and I don’t think the exam table sheet had been changed. Luckily, I didn’t have to use it. During my wait, I could hear the nurses talking and cursing on the other end of the thin walls with one another. I waited for about 10mins or so before one came in to take my vitals and ask about my symptoms. And this is where things get wonkier… About 5 minutes after she left, Lisa Meaker just walks in (without knocking as medical professionals do) and immediately lists off prescriptions she’s giving me WITHOUT SO MUCH AS AN EVALUATION! I kid you not, she stepped in, stood by the door, didn’t even look at my condition, and listed off all of the things she was prescribing me without a discussion. I literally had to walk over to her because she stood by the door and did not approach me. I had to inquire in order to get her to at least look at the reason why I was there. She scanned me for maybe 15 seconds, tops, before repeating my prescription. There was absolutely no assessment. She was short, uncaring, and had terrible bedside manner. She didn’t tell me what I could do to avoid the situation in the future or ask me about my symptoms or what might have led up to my condition. Nothing! I had to ask her what the prescriptions were for and wasnt given any information on how long to use them. I had to look that info up online.The crazy thing is, I saw her earlier when I was in the waiting room. She just came in from outside and went through the door to where the patient rooms were. I thought that she was a patient who went to grab something from her car or something. She wasn’t wearing scrubs (I don’t think) and didn’t have the professional appearance of a nurse.When I was leaving, I asked the young lady at the front desk about follow-up visits (I would not have gone back, however, their policy wasn’t anywhere to be found). I was told that I would have to pay again because I… self-paid??... Midwest Clinic has a free follow-up visit for the same condition for up to a week.Just when I thought it was over… When I went to the pharmacy, I had a question about one of the prescriptions so I asked the pharmacist. Unfortunately, she didn’t have the answer so I called the clinic and was told that Lisa, or someone from the clinic, would call me back that day with an answer. NOBODY CALLED! Nobody ever called. I got on Google, said a Hail Mary, and figured it out myself.This place is unprofessional, uncaring, and unsanitary. Will never come here again. Do yourself a favor and go to a Midwest Express Clinic. Well worth the extra $20.

Everything went well. I went there on two separate events. The first time I scheduled an appointment three days out and the second time they did the test immediately. They answered my questions. They explained what they were going to do prior to doing it. Keep your head still while they swab your nose for 10 seconds. it stings a little towards the end of the 10 seconds but its not too bad. I had to got there again on another occasion for the same testing and their service was excellent same as the first two appointments.Loop

I was recently at Family Urgent Care as my hand was slammed in a car door... the staff was astounding!!! My wait was minimal and the doctor was wonderful explaining what he was going to do and what would happen as my finger healed. When I returned for my follow up I was able to focus more on my surroundings which were clean and other services. I think I have found a new primary doctor for my family and I. Thank you for your prompt attention and care. The staff has truly went above and beyond to ensure quality care!

Very friendly. Very organized. If you need a rapid covid test for any reason other than being ill (I think you have to do a PCR test with them but I’m not 100% on that), they will take care of you ASAP! Very pleased with my experience and I will definitely be back.

Dr. Vinlaun (and nurse Dagmar) has been our family doctor since they were in Lowell. I drive a long way just to keep him as our doctor. Weve even seen some of the other doctors and they are just as fabulous!! We never have to make an appointment. Even if there are others there before us, weve never had to wait long. I highly recommend giving them a try! Love, love, love this place

Dont waste your time here. The stuff were nice. Camr to see Dr but was seen by some nurse. The nurse clearly doesnt have experience. She comes in hurry, trying to everything quick to move on to the patient. No questions about the past, how are you feeling, .... I wont be coming back here unless I am seen by a Dr, which what I am paying for.

Could not get an appointment with my PCP and the Urgent Care in his building had a 2 hour wait! I remembered driving by Family Urgent Care so I decided to see what their wait time was and they took me right in! From the front desk to the MAs to the Nurse Practitioner I was treated kindly and very promptly. Definitely recommend them, thank you!

I love, love Dr. Tiffany Thomas she is heaven sent. The moment she came in I felt a much need peace. I had some concerns that we laying heavily on my heart that I was praying about. I felt comfortable enough to voice my concerns. My daughter had Strep and she also seen she needed a ear cleansing she took care of that. The thing I loved most was you can tell she enjoys what she does. When you get someone who enjoys their job and does it exceptionally well you give honor and appreciate them. Everyone was kind an great but Tiffany Thomas their was something different about her that I really cant explain warm hearted isnt enough because the other ladies had a warm hearted spirit as well. Anyway Highly recommended place and Dr.

The staff was very friendly and even moreso helpful. They made sure to inform me thoroughly on why I wasnt feeling well and gave me all the advice and medications that I needed to feel nearly 100% again.

My family and friends have been with Dr. Sheikh for many years. The staff has always treated us wonderful. If Im in need of lab work, x-rays, etc... the office can allow accommodate my needs, they make me feel welcome and not like a number.

My experience was very good, the staff very nice and wait was not long at all. The nurse and doctor are very sweet. I was in/out all together 30 minutes from the time I arrived and left. If I need to visit again definitely this urgent care center.

I take my family to the Schererville location aswell as myself. They are quick friendly. And best of it all they are primary care open 7 days a week 8am to 8pm . All the NPs take there time to diagnosis. Unless busy there is never a wait time. If you want good care this place will not let you down.

This is my second visit at this facility and I have nothing negative to say . A little backstory last week my husband and I came and we spoke to the doctor and he told us that I need to schedule an appointment to have my skin tag removed. He told me that it was because the size of the body tag it was pretty big and my interpretation of what he told me was if the body tag was smaller he would have removed it that same day but since it was pretty big thats why I had to schedule an appointment. And that to me sounds reasonable and today was my second visit there I had it removed it was the same doctor as last week I forget his name but he did really good he made me feel relaxed we even joked around I didnt feel anything the only thing I felt was the shot he gave me and that hurt a little & after that I felt nothing and next week I go back for them to remove my stitches. So yeah I would recommend them. To anybody who may have the regular doctor or doctors or even if you dont have a doctor I really recommend you going to this place theyre nice and Im definitely coming back. Went over my prescription with me in depth and kept asking if I had questions or needed anything further. Very happy.

Drive up covid testing site - I was able to get a same day appointment. Bonus! However, when I received the call with my results, the background noise was terrible. Since my results were available online, I called my primary care provider to discuss the results in a professional manner. Testing site was great. Follow up was terrible.

The staff was awesome, but there was a several day delay in getting my Covid-19 test results to me. Not cool. If they had gotten my results to me a day or two after they had received them in their office I would have given them five stars.

Went for a Covid test. Once I arrived the process was smooth. There was not a long wait in the reception area. All my questions were answered plus some. The receptionist and nurse were very pleasant.

My husband and I had a PCR covid test for international travel. And we were highly satisfied. We just walked in, no prior appointment was necessary. The receptionist was very kind and so was the nurse. Unlike other places, here they accepted our medical insurance and we didnt have to pay a single dime. Twenty minutes later the results were ready. The facility is new and very clean. We would go backNOTE on June 2022: They do not accept medical insurance for PCR Tests anymore (for traveling) You have to pay out of pocket

It was hard trying to find a place late in the day on a Sunday to get covid tested . I went online and found urgent care was open . I Was able to make an appointment the same day . I arrived earlier than expected and was able to check in right away ! Received my results within minutes . Highly recommend.

If you are going to this place for a Covid test, expect to wait the full amount of 4/5 days for results. Went Saturday morning for test was fast, person who did swab was nice. Told her I was pregnant and she said she didn’t need the info it didn’t matter. Everywhere else I’ve done a test asked me that question. Probably should have known right then and there I wasn’t getting results any time soon. I had called Tuesday morning and they stated my result were in but the doctor had to call me and will call sometime in the day. Called back at night before closing to make sure it wasn’t being posted anywhere due to a weird email coming in but was told the doctor was making phone calls at the time and to just wait for the phone call. It’s now the Wednesday morning. They called my husband with results and told him they couldn’t tell him anything for me. And still haven’t received my phone call with results. Go somewhere else!!!!!

I have had excellent care each time I have visited Family Urgent Care. Easy appointment scheduling and I feel very comfortable with the level care received. This visit was about condition left untreated by another facility.

This place is not ok. You want to know the reason behind all those 5 stars? They are giving out 5 dollar Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards for a 5 star review. At first when I came to this place, I thought, “hmm interesting, fast service!” But something was off. Then out the blue the lady behind the window ask me if I enjoyed my service give them a 5 star review and she will give me a DD gift card.I was so shocked. I didn’t know how to respond because I have never seen that happen in an actual health facility. That was very alarming and very frightening. I was finally called to the back and it was so unprofessional. I could hear the girl that was helping my doctor tell all my business while there was others in the next room beside me and I could hear all of their business too. I needed blood work and there was trash everywhere and dirty needles from when the last person didn’t clean up their mess. It was horrible and scary. I wanted to just run out! The doctor that I had wasn’t bad. But he wasn’t good either. I felt like I wasn’t heard and wasn’t cared for. I literally came out with nothing at all accomplished and no answers. If you have a cold or flu... this is easily your place. But anything serious... don’t bother.I feel like a sellout because at the end she asked me if I like the service and if I had already left my 5 star review. I hate being in awkward position and I’m not completely bold about speaking up. So I said yes and wrote something that they where good at, got the card and went on about my day... in guilt. This card has been in my possession for some time now and I have not been able to bring myself to use it because of dishonesty. I cut and shredded the card and deleted my old review to write the truth. I no longer have to think about this any more. I openly encourage everyone to be honest with their experience and don’t be a 5 dollar gift card sellout. Let others know what to expect so they won’t be caught off guard like me or even yourself.

This place is close by my house, and wanted to try it out. The establishment is very clean, and the couches they have are very comfortable in the waiting area. The experience here was great! Though I came in near closing time, I felt like I flew in and out. The staff were all nice and the overall spirits were nice. I recommend this place for near any problem as they all seemed to know how things went around here.

Brought my son in for a sports physical and the staff was friendly and helpful. The nurse practitioner was really friendly and made my son feel comfortable. Will definitely come again.

Absolutely horrible customer service. We setup an appointment yesterday for a popup covid test for me and my girlfriend. They didnt say there was any issue with my insurance until i have already waited 50 minutes outside the establishment for my appointment . my company doesnt provide the insurance information to me for my medical visits so i just notify them of my employer and they do the rest. The rude lady at the desk said they dont do that and cant do that even though that is how i do all my medical visits. So i canceled my appointment and we were just waiting for my girlfriends to go through. She then gets a text message stating she has cancelled her appointment when she never did such a thing. She called in to ask about it and the rude lady once again said i had cancelled both of our appointments. I would never in my life come back to this establishment if it was the last urgent care available in a 5 state radius.

Very friendly, efficient staff. Made an appointment quickly and easily, did not wait long for my Covid test, and received my results quickly. I highly recommend them.
