Excellent facility with very, very high standards for herbal supplements and acupuncture. Dr Angela has been awesome in helping me treat a sprained ankle, with some great results after just a few weeks. I highly recommend her as an initial line of defense in treating both acute and chronic injuries.

Mao, Doctor Angela and Doctor Dao are true life savers - for me and several of my friends who has been treated at Tao of Wellness in Santa Monica.I am patient of Doctor Mao since 12 years back, and in last 4 years I am also patient of Doctor Angela Soeon Park. I am familiar with Doctor Daos work on several of my friends.Doctor Mao has been my primary health care provider in many years when I lived in Los Angeles. With his broad expertise, he successfully treated me for chronical back pain, fibromyalgia. migraines. My real health issues started at the end of 2019 when I moved to Florida. I suffered 14 unexplained anaphylactic shocks in 8 months. I visited over 20 different doctors, several times I ended up at an Urgent Care and Emergency rooms with my face swollen and airways closing. I was allergic to everything according to doctors and no one could find the reason, explanation nor the cure to my condition. The life threatening sympthoms were treated with overdose of steroids, antibiotics, antihistamines - I lived in a fear 24/7 that I would choke to death - especially going to bed - as I woke up couple of times with my face, tongue and throat swollen to the point I couldnt recognize myself in a mirror and unable to breath. It was a medical miracle and I owe my life to doctor Mao.Since 2020 I made several trips to California, to get real Chinese acupuncture treatments, herbal treatments, amazing Tuinas, and bodyworks by Doctor Angela and Doctor Mao. I recently traveled to my amazing Doctor Angela and Doctor Mao to cure my very stubborn sinus infection- where again - regular medicine couldnt help, with 5 severe infections in 6 months, way overdosed series of antibiotics and the threat of very risky sinus surgery ( with severe side effects and no guarantee for curing the problem). It was worth to spend the money for travel, accommodation and daily treatments. With strong accupuntures , detox treatments and strong herbal therapy - my sinus is getting better. I have to mention that both Doctor Mao and Doctor Angela were so kind and carrying with medical advices, follow ups and adjusting herbs while I was on heavy ( non working ) antibiotics treatments in past few months in Florida. Their in person treatments calls for miracles. I can highly recommend Tao of Wellness. I can also share that a few of my dear friends has been successfully treated here for different advanced stages of cancer, when they chose to trust the Chinese medicine here and refused chemo and radiation. Dr Mao is amazing and I began a life long journey due to this Dr. I have had HIV since 1980 and I wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for Dr Mao and also the books I bought from Master Ni. His-Ching.

This clinic is extremely harsh and uncaring. Even if your neighborhood is being evacuated due to a flood, or you are dealing with devastating health news from your MD, these will be counted against you if you reschedule with Tao of Wellness. So if you ever have a more normal emergency, like a computer failure in the middle of a big work or school project, you are SOL because you already used up your excused reschedule. I dont think this is a way to treat patients. Coming from someone who worked in health care for many years, I understand the importance of the Dr. and staffs time, and I also know that you have to care and be understanding about the patients as well. I dont think patient care is the top priority at this clinic with Dr. Dao.

Dr. Mao and the Tao of Wellness team deserve more than five stars! Their expertise and genuine care have been a game-changer for my health. Dr Daoshing and Dr Maoshing Ni work magic with their needles and herbs. Very knowledgeable and experienced acupuncturists/herbalists and explain things throughly. Both are considerate, kind and experts in their field. Dr Dao has helped me with various ailments/physical issues as needed over the last 30 years. Dr Mao treated my mother years ago. This place is heaven! I go to Angela for body work and acupuncture. She’s truly changed my life.I struggle with neck and back pain probably from years of bad posture and stress. As well as, migraines that seemed related to the pain.She’s also given me exercises, herbs, foods to eat and foods to avoid.I sleep better, my headaches are gone, my skin is clear, and my body handles stress better.This has been a wonderful addition to my life ❤️

Amazing Results! I am based in Texas, but consulted with Dr. Dao through Tele/video sessions. I made an appointment over the phone came to my appointment and was told I dont have one. Im very upset at the unprofessionalism. No one has free time in LA to waste on driving anywhere for no reason and obviously I did not make up time myself and my credit card was actually charged that day for my appointment
