I have been seeing Dr. Holloway for the past 7-8 years and couldnt be happier, she is incredibly knowledgeable. During my visits, she took the time to thoroughly explain my concerns and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. I highly recommend her to all my friends and family.

I came to see Dr. Holloway when I first moved here to Texas and I’m so glad that I chose her for my care. I had an exam today and became emotional and Dr. Holloway handled the situation with compassion and grace. She is absolutely amazing.

Now that I’m pregnant with my second, I have made the decision to receive care from a midwife.During my first pregnancy I saw Dr. Holloway. My appointments were typically 5-10 minutes.Now, each appointment with my midwife is an hour!In that hour, any and all of my concerns are thoroughly addressed, and my emotional and physical well being is discussed with care. I am confident my midwife will spot any risks to myself and baby during her extensive time with me each appointment.My midwife is always available and eager to address things such as fatigue and nausea with simple and natural remedies!I now see how much care I missed out on during my first pregnancy, and wish I would have sought out a midwife then as well.With my first, I felt pushed into an induction at 41 weeks that ultimately led to a C-section. Both baby and I were perfectly healthy at the time. I could have avoided a major abdominal surgery if I would have been given time for labor to begin naturally, when my body was fully prepared.There are risks with induction that I should have been informed of before being pushed in that direction.Please take time to research your options, and choose a provider who will give you the care you deserve!There is a beautiful design to pregnancy and birth that is not respected in most mainstream practices today.Physiologic birth is safe and achievable.It is your RIGHT to be informed and in control of every decision in your pregnancy and birth.From one Mom to another❤️

Unfortunately have to update my review as I no longer feel comfortable referring this OBGYN. Three years in, this office is now overrun, overworked, and has lost the warmth and empathy that once made it so inviting. Feels very impersonal now and every appointment I have had has now been cancelled on me via text message. I get once in awhile, but this has been three times now. If you have any issues with your hormones, this is also not the doctors office for you (the doctor actually scoffed during my appointment when I told her I was seeking treatment for a hormone issue with the lab work to prove it).Dr. Holloway is a very nice woman, and is probably perfectly fine if you just need a routine pap every year. But if you ever have issues with unexplained weight gain, questionable PCOS symptoms, hormone imbalance, or if you need a doctor that isnt going to tell you youre the problem, and these labs look great!, Doctor Holloway is not for you. Find yourself a doctor that will listen to you, care about your struggles, and actually work towards helping you when you need it.Previous Review:Ive been so disappointed with my previous OBGYN and finally after three years I was able to plan enough ahead to get an appointment with Dr. Holloway (scheduled two months in advance). Ive had multiple friends recommend her and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere in this office is warm and friendly and exactly what I was looking for. Everyone I encountered, including Dr. Holloway, was also very nice and professional. AND THEY HAVE ROBES! No more trying to uncomfortably cover yourself up with a tiny paper sheet. Actually looking forward to being a patient here and Im so thankful I no longer have to dread going to my annual visits!!

I loved this Ob office until they ordered a genetic test for my baby and it costed $5000. I was billed $1089 for this test even though I didn’t want to know the gender. I’ve been trying to reach the clinic manager and have yet to get a response after a month. I have been sent to collections because of this bill. Other ob offices give you a generic test that cost $100 flat. I would’ve never done the test if I knew it was going to cost that much, no one ever said anything about it being that much. Highly recommend steering clear from this office!!!

The office staff was friendly, from the receptionist to the nurse! Dr. Holloway was receptive to my concerns and had a game plan. She was sweet nice and showed empathy and love for her job! She made me feel comfortable! Overall my first visit as a first time patient was a great one! Amazing office staff and doctor!

Due to work, I have lived in many countries and many states over the past 20 years and had experience with several very good gynecologists in every place. Dr Katheryn Holloway however, is hands down the best gynecologist I have even seen. Cheerful, friendly, very knowledgeable with delicate hands. She has a beautiful upbeat personality that makes a patient feel cozy and comfortable. I feel exceptionally well looked after being in her care.The office is friendly and all the staff are very helpful and sweet.I strongly recommend Dr Holloway to anyone seeking a new OBGYN.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Holloway for over 8 years and have always had a positive experience with her and the office staff. Today was a seamless visit from beginning to end! I was early to my visit, and they accommodated me easily. The office efficiency was great and it was a pleasant visit. Dr. Holloway is great! I’d recommend her to my closest friends. She delivered my first child and I felt so comfortable with her. She took the time to listen to my concerns and respected my birth plan. Some of the reviews talk about how quick she is. Some of my visits were quick in and out; however she has lots of patients and that’s normal for any doctor visit. Even though they were quick visits she still would answer my questions if I had any. Also I was able to see her same day when I felt like I had mastitis (which I did). I’ll definitely continue seeing her.

I began seeing Dr. Holloway when I was about 20 weeks pregnant. I was not impressed with the care I was getting at my previous doctor and decided to switch to Dr. Holloway after seeing all of her amazing reviews! She was very easy to get along with and cared a lot about my mental health through my pregnancy. Time and time again she listened to my worries and made me feel heard and cared for. Appointments go by quick which is great! The wait time is considerably less than my previous doctor. She delivered my baby via c section and did an amazing job! I’m so glad I found her!

My visit with Dr. Holloway and her staff went exceptionally well. I went in with nerves knowing that it was my first time seeing Dr. Holloway but that soon changed when the front office staff were so nice and helpful.As I got called to see Dr. Holloway her nurse was very nice and assured me that Im in good hands. I arrived for my appointment and was instantly taken back, didnt even get to finish my paperwork :) They took my vitals and was swiftly taken to my exam room. Dr. Holloway was very friendly and professional, never feel uncomfortable there what so ever. The staff is great as well. Really appreciate the quickness and proficiency. I totally recommend Dr. Holloway!!

I was referred to Dr. Holloway by another physician who had been a patient of hers. I have had some bad experiences with gynecologists in the past so I was extremely nervous. The receptionist was professional and polite. The entire office was immaculate. There was no wait time. The medical assistant was pleasant and professional. Dr. Holloway walked into my room with a big smile and introduced herself. She was very pleasant and listened to my concerns intently. We discussed my case and she explained everything to me and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. She was very easy to talk to and therefore I felt at ease. I felt relieved of my anxiety and I felt confident in her medical expertise. I have not encountered very many doctors that were both competent and compassionate. It’s easy to see that Dr. Holloway loves what she does and cares about her patients. I have more visits ahead of me but as for my first visit today I am definitely impressed and grateful to have found her. Oh and just in case you’re wondering she was very gentle.

The wait time was non existent. Almost as soon as I checked in they had me in a room. Staff was friendly but all business. Dr. Holloway was very helpful and answered my questions. The major complaint I have is the lack of communication. The first time I went there they seemed to expect me to know what to do after the exam was completed. In fact I had shared my experience with another office leaving me alone for over an hour and what a negative experience it was. This is the second time I have been to this office and again the doctor and nurse both left without instructions on what to do next. Neither said a word about when you are finished dressing take your paperwork and check out with the front desk. I would like to see better communication in the future especially for those who are new to the office. Overall, the office seemed to be a tight running ship.

Dr. Holloway is amazing!! When I first found out I was pregnant I knew I had to find a doctor that would help me through this entire process (I’m a first time mom) and she exceeded my expectations. She was patient and took her time and was just so fun to be around. Yes she has a ton of patients but she does a great job at making sure you feel important. I’m not a huge fan of the girls at the front desk, they aren’t very friendly and are slow. But it’s okay because Dr. Holloway is worth it. Highly recommend.

Dr. Holloway is great! Sometimes the appointments can feel a bit rushed, due to her schedule. That would be the biggest drawback. But when I have the opportunity to talk more at length with Dr. Holloway, she is always attentive, kind, and informative. Only wish I had the luxury of more time with her during checkups!

Dr. Holloway is quick, efficient, and very professional. She delivered my baby and had to make the call to do an emergency C-section and I trusted her judgment. She did it quickly and we got to meet our daughter sooner! I just returned for my annual and it was nice to see the same faces working in the office; everyone is very pleasant. Highly recommend!

So far, I’ve had a great experience. I had no issues with her staff which is mentioned in other reviews. They were fast and efficient. I cannot begin to describe how phenomenal Dr Holloway and her team have treated me and my daughter. From my first visit to my post c-section care, she has been absolutely amazing. Dr. Holloway delivered both my boys and now that I am pregnant with my 3rd, she is the only doctor I entrust this little life with. She is knowledgeable, shows so much compassion and never rushes at her appointments with me. Amazing doctors are hard to come by, and she is a true gem. I’d give her a thousand stars if I could.

Myself and my 21yr old daughter have been seeing Dr. Holloway for several years now and we love her. I always feel like her time with me is focused on “me”. She doesn’t rush. She pays attention and gives me her time when I have questions or concerns. She explains things thoroughly and always seems upbeat and positive. I have been seeing doctor Holloway since 2015. She has always been so caring and compassionate. Ive had 2 scary situations happen and she was quick to get me in and get me taken care of. I have been a patient of Dr. Holloway’s for 7 years. She’s delivered all 4 of my children (even our adopted daughter ☺️). She’s wonderful and intuitive. I was considered high risk for my first pregnancy and she worked alongside two specialty doctors. My last pregnancy stands out the most where her character really shined through, I was I unexpectedly pregnant as my husband and I thought our family was complete. Dr. Holloway was so patient and helped me to stay focused and positive and the birthing experience was my favorite one. She supported my goal of an epidural-free delivery and the accompanying of my doula. The delivery went better than I could have imagined! I recommend her to everyone that has inquired. She’s kind yet straight to the point, she’s enjoyable to be around yet focused. She also treated me for postpartum depression after my second pregnancy and I always felt like she took it serious and wanted the best for me and my baby.The office staff is very professional and great about scheduling and taking phone calls. The business side operates well. Plus they are very prompt without long waits. The office is always clean and orderly.

Dr. Holloway is a great doctor! She is very knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. She stays well informed on new treatment options available and is familiar with some of the lesser known connective tissue disorders that can cause complications with womens health.I recommend her to everyone I know. When she moved from the practice in Stone Oak, I followed with her over to the new location, as most of her patients did. When you find a physician you can trust, you stick with them!

First let me start with,I left my original gyn after 16 with her. Because she was rude n yelled at me and her staff 🙄because of my disabilities I have due to having trans Myelitis.NowIf could give 20 stars. Thats what I would give. Dr. Holloway (no relation!) is professional and very approachable whenever you have any questions or concerns. I’ve never felt uncomfortable during an appointment and her/her staff does an excellent job at making sure you have everything you need before you walk out the door. If you haven’t gone to see an OBGYN in a while because of previous bad experiences or just out of nervousness, I think you should come see her!

Dr Holloway is an amazing physician. She provided care during my recent first pregnancy and delivered my healthy baby girl, going above and beyond as our obstetrician. Throughout my pregnancy she answered all our questions and was very thorough at our visits. She listens to her patients and will do her best to honor their labor wishes, while considering the safety of both mother and child. We wanted to wait until our due date, and Dr Holloway respected this wish, and then induction occurred after 40 weeks under Dr. Holloways supervision and she provided excellent care. We are so fortunate to have her as our provider!

Kathryn Holloway has been my gynecologist for 7 yrs. I followed her from her previous office. She is a very compassionate physician. She listens to your concerns, doesn’t rush you through your appointment. This has been my experience in the past with docs going as fast as they can to get to the next patient. She works efficiently and expeditiously, while never making you feel like she is rushing you. Can’t say enough great things about her!

Dr. Holloway is fantastic! She speaks to you like a friend & equal, explains her reasoning as she goes & is able to refer you directly to specialist colleagues she knows & respects personally. She takes the time to tailor my care to my general needs as well as my own desires & future plans. Went in to take out my IUD and Dr. Holloway was so sweet and LGBTQ friendly. She took the IUD out in less than a minute with barely any pain involved and I’m so delighted by the experience.

Dr Holloway has always been great!! I feel the front office staff needs to be friendlier and let patients know if there is a long wait time. I understand that Dr’s get backed up as I have worked in the health industry. But front office needs a course on how to smile and welcome patients.

Dr. Holloway in a fit of frustration began talking about miscarriages and cancer diagnoses of her other patients to explain her being more than an hour late to my appointment. It was the most disturbing and unprofessional experience I’ve ever had. Had seen great reviews so was especially disturbed with how this experience panned out for me.

Dr. Holloway is the best OBGYN I’ve ever used. Her office is very professional from the front desk, the nurse that takes you back (Rosy), Crystal (she takes your blood), and of course Dr. Holloway. She genuinely cares about every patient and goes above and beyond. I recommend her to anyone who has a high risk pregnancy and even my friends undergoing general gynecological stuff.There isn’t typically a wait, my annual is less than 1 minute (the uncomfortable part), and she makes you feel very comfortable.

I just had my very first appointment with Dr. Holloway and she was beyond amazing! I’ve been searching for a gynecologist since February of this year due to mine retiring. I’ve visited several in San Antonio and some in Laredo with no luck until I finally visited Dr. Holloway. I have a complicated situation that other doctors just kept guessing on but not Dr. Holloway! She listened to me and what I was feeling and referred me to a specialist to confirm my problem instead of just guessing. She also assured me that if it turned out not to be what we think it is and we have confirmation from the specialist that it’s not then that “we” would find out what it is. Her simply just saying that made me feel not alone in my situation and cared for. I highly recommend seeing Dr.Holloway!

Back in August my husband and I made the decision to switch from a hospital to a birth center birth. This was for many reasons but after a phone call I received today, everyone needs to know what kind of practice Dr. Holloway is running.Prior to leaving her office I had multiple prenatal appointments randomly canceled within 24 hours of my appointment- via TEXT. The office personal was absolutely terrible, rude, and unprofessional. I never had a direct issue with Dr. Holloway herself, that is until I found out she was able to comment on my Facebook post instead of returning my phone calls I had requested. I called her office multiple times to get her on the phone to discuss hospital protocols. Her office staff was not informed about “Covid and hospital protocols” and I was told she would “return my phone calls promptly”.Now for the fun one. I just received a phone call from a COLLECTION AGENCY for $26.61. YES 26 DOLLARS. From April 3rd.Dr. Holloway’s office never tried to contact me to inform me of this INSANE balance. I was still a patient of theirs until August and was never told about this outstanding balance. This is absolutely ridiculous.Please do not make this mistake and use Dr. Kathryn Holloway or her practice. For your own sake, find someone else.

I had been going to Dr Holloway for my regular checkups like normal, but out of the blue had a lot of bleeding. Dr Holloway let me know how common this can be as we get older, and all of the likely causes. At the same time she ran the right tests. In the long run I needed a hysterectomy which Dr Holloway performed. Due to the information she gave me all along the way and her caring ways I developed full trust in her! I am so thankful all of my issues are over, and I feel better than ever. I recommend Dr Holloway to all of my friends and family, she is one in a million.

Terrible doctor! Shes young, inexperienced and extremely arrogant with a know it all attitude. She dismissed my concerns without even trying to help and was very pushy with things even after I told her I didnt want certain interventions. Im pretty sure she cares more about making money off her patients, rather than trying to help. Im very natural minded, however she did not respect my wishes and seemed almost condescending about it. Her office staff is terrible as well. Dont waste your time with her. There are plenty of other great OBGYNs out there, likely with lots more experience, who will actually listen and respect your choices and your body.

She is a very nice doctor all though she does everything really fast and doesn’t really explain much in depth, so I usually have to ask the nurses at the front desk. She is very nice and gentle tho very fast quick paced. You wait longer in the lobby than whatever the reason for visit is.

Dr. Holloway has been so wonderful and beyond caring. I started seeing her about two years ago and immediately knew I made the right choice in switching over to her care and have referred 3 friends since! Late last year I called over a concern I had and was told to go in just to make sure everything was ok and go over any questions I may have. So glad I did as I was then diagnosed with a dermoid cyst. I had a ultrasound to make sure everything was ok and sure enough there was something there. She kept an eye on the cyst for 3 months and after no reduction in size I moved forward with laparoscopic surgery early this year. She really made me feel extremely cared for and never brushed off any concerns I had prior and post surgery. Since then I have been in for different reasons and every single time I go in I get the same great care.

Then I called to make an appointment and the person I talked to was the rudest person Ive ever talked to in health care. I will not ever make an appointment here because how dare you be rude to someone whos young and scared about this new experience . Go somewhere else if you dont want them to ruin your experience. If yall wonder why you dont get more patients try checking with your phone staff.

Dr. Holloway isnt patient, she makes you feel like you are not important because shes in this hurry to get to the next patient and you are left with a bunch of questions unanswered and a bill. The girls working the front desk are BEYOND incompetent and unprofessional. They didnt even know the difference between copay and coinsurance! They tried to tell me how my insurance coverage works but what they didnt know was that I am a medical claims specialist so I know all about medical insurance benefits and claims. They have the worst attitudes and should be replaced asap. There were three older ladies there that are nice but the young girls are horrible. I highly recommend that you continue to look elsewhere until they get it together. If your health is important to you then that means that you want the BEST there is. You wont find it with them.

I see so many positive reviews and I am baffled.I am here for work & had an emergency c section done by Dr Holloway (my 3rd baby). Its the 3rd week now; incision was stitched crookedly, I have a lump on one end of the incision and a dimple on the other end. Pus oozing out of the incision.I have had 2 previous c sections and my 2 previous incisions were neatly done & healed without complications.Had to reach my personal Dr who says the only way to fix the badly sewn incision would be during another procedure.Now I am on antibiotics to heal the infection but left with a poorly sewn incision.I feel quite sad about it.

Been seeing dr. Hollow for about 2 1/2 years for super friendly she was great with the first pregnancy I had with her was just a little disappointed that she wasn’t going to be able to delivery my baby after seeing her for the past 9 month just throw me off a little bit but other then that she really good doctor hopefully she’ll be able to deliver this baby love being a patient their don’t have to wait long I’m normally just in and out and love the staff super nice especially life the lab person (don’t know what they really call it) they have their great at taking blood never have to stick me twice or more

Dr. Kathryn Holloway is the very first doctor Ive ever felt so inclined to warn others about. We really did try to see the good in her for the duration of my entire pregnancy. I shouldve listened to my gut and found another doctor as soon as I realized she views all her patients as a commission check. She does not listen to you as a patient. She has her own agenda. Shes a good sales woman and she probably should be in sales and not an MD. I suffered a bad fall at the Methodist Hospital the day after I delivered, and I had to request for her just to come see me. I developed an immediate hernia from slipping and twisting my torso violently. She never even checked my other areas of injury. I left bruised up and in terrible pain. She blamed the hernia on my pregnancy even though she knows for fact I never had a hernia my entire pregnancy as it wouldve been documented somewhere. Even after labor, I had no hernia at all. I have the records to prove it: NO HERNIA! I was under her care at the time of the fall and she shouldve been the one to thoroughly examine me and address the fall. But she disregarded me. If you have even the slightest desire to do ANYTHING naturally in your childbirth experience, keep shopping for another doctor. Shell assure you she respects you at the first visit, and will make you believe it, and then shell turn her back on you. I called her office this week asking for an urgent call back. I thought Id give her one last opportunity to see me and try to help since I now need surgery for the hernia. She has not returned my call. Additionally, the front desk staff is the worst. They only thing they ask for each visit is your money. Theyre never glad to see you or any of the patients, Ive watched them. They need to all be replaced.***So heres an update for those shopping for the right doctor. After I wrote this review, Dr. Holloway did contact me. I told her that I would be going to a different OBGYN within the IFWH closer to where I live. We had a decent conversation, I thought. I asked if shed see to it that the hospital took care of my injury since it happened on her watch. She agreed. Today, I needed a release form for me to return to work and requested to see another doctor at the Institute, someone much closer to where we live. The office manager said it was policy I see Dr. Holloway until she completed my post-partum care. She cleared me for work and followed it up with terminating me as a patient as if I was the one who had wronged her! She followed it by saying that I would not be able to see ANY doctor in her practice ever again. HOW IS THIS FAIR? In a desperate attempt to insulate herself from liability, she dismissed me as a patient as if I did something to warrant this. Was it her fault that I had a terrible fall at the hospital? No. But, it was her responsibility to provide proper care for me after the fall, which she did not. She was instead completely negligent, sending me home bruised from face to knee without even a proper exam. It pains me to think that this is how she treats her patients. Im sure Im not alone. Also, its not like me to write negative reviews. This is taking time out of my life I would rather be spending with my precious new baby. I feel morally obligated to do this on behalf of other moms and women to prevent them from having to learn by experience. Another thing: She will try to hurry your labor along by scraping your membranes at week 37 without your consent. This is when a doctor uses a finger to tear the amniotic sac from the wall of the uterus in an attempt to start labor. You will leave nearly unable to drive home. After she did this the first time, I went in to false labor that continued on for 3 weeks! At week 39, after researching what she had done and suffering from painful contractions day and night, I requested her to just strip them again to get it over with. My dilation was at a standstill because she had tried to rush my body too soon to do something it wasnt ready to do. I stand by the statement that Ive never had a worse experience.***
