Mitwally Fertility Clinic

Absolutely the best fertility doctor in the country. Trust me, my wife and i tried the others in Bexar county, those clinics just treat you like a # and want your $$. This is the only doctor that will give you his cell phone #, he will text you back. My wife and i tried for years and we couldnt have children naturally. We were giving up and then we met him, his wife and staff....he worked with us because my wife and i had spent all our money at the other clinics. And if youre reading the not so many bad reviews, DONT BELIEVE THEM......he does recommend the supplements for your wife but so do the other clinics...and they arent cheap, but, they are much more affordable than buying them elsewhere. And yes, he is currently working out of State rt now and will do a virtual call but his assistant knows what she is doing. And about their copays and asking to add another payment WILL help you come delivery time. We are so forever grateful for Mitwally.....my wife had our twins, boy and girl......Thank you M. Dr Mitwally and his practice have everything I was looking for in a clinic. Personable - they take time to get to know you and your fertility history, they weigh in your opinions and feelings on next steps, and they CARE about their patients. You’re not just a number at this clinic!! You can text or call the doctor or the clinic’s number for quick help on a question, they can fit you in for a quick appointment if you have a concern, and Dr Mitwally is SO knowledgeable about the medication, processes, and keeps himself and his staff at a very professional level of operation.They also don’t break the bank. I can’t speak to IUI or IVF but in the appointments I had and what I heard from others who have had more medically involved cycles, Mitwally avoids a LOT of the overhead that bigger clinics and offices have. You will not find a better doctor or clinic than with Mitwally, I would recommend him over and over again to anyone looking for a fertility center!!

If I could give him and his practice 500 stars, I would! They’re amazing! Small, family owned office that treats you like family as well. They are always so kind and so helpful. And Dr. Mitwally is so intelligent and funny. He makes the whole infertility process a lot more comfortable and he explains everything to you. He is super thorough and doesn’t make you feel like a number. He spends time in the room with you to make sure you understand everything before you leave. And if you get home and have more questions, they encourage you to call or text the office with any questions at all. He works with you payment wise and allows you to make payments on some things if you need. He has assisted numerous women in getting pregnant. You can see a ton of photos of some of the babies he helped create all over his office! Unfortunately my husband and I are moving out of state and only got to go to Dr. Mitwally and his family for a few months but we told him we wish we could take him with us lol!! He has even offered to find me a new specialist in the area that I’m moving to. He is just an awesome person and a wonderful doctor. This office is highly recommended.

Dr Mitwally is the best doctor we ever worked with. After several miscarriages and PCOS making it hard to get pregnant, he helped us and after 3 cycles we had our miracle baby! Our son is 9 months old now and Dr Mitwally still calls personally to check on us and help manage PCOS symptoms post partum. He genuinely cares about the families he helps. All the other doctors we saw pushed IVF, Dr Mitwally was the only ken who listened to us and helped us without IVF, but it was always an option if we wanted it. He is honest and we were so blessed to found him and his practice. The women at the front desk are very caring and helpful. They work with you on payments. You can buy medications or vitamins from them directly or anywhere else if you find a better price. They work with you and explain the best way to process things with your insurance.

We went to him when he left Baylor Scott and white and our first appointment in san Antonio was not very professional he wasnt even in the office he had his assistant she used a iphone to video chat the doctor while during the ultrasound. And all in the same day we were written a bunch of prescriptions without even looking at currently blood work that we brought in.never did any testing on my spouse . And we have insurance for copay and they charged a 100 dollar copay and each visit even when we were max on our insurance where it covered. Never heard anything about it it just ignores. It didnt even feel like a welcoming place or professional. I never seen anything like that. It was very uncomfortable for me and my spouse. I dont recommend this practice. Absolutely no clear directions when he gives out medication even for pharmacy.

I underwent fertility testing and treatment with Dr Mitwally and his staff for approximately a year and a half. Through this long and tough process, the doctor always made my partner and I feel comfortable, gave us as much time and access to him as we needed even on weekends or late nights and truly made us feel as though they are part of the family. There is too much dishonesty in our healthcare field currently and I am glad to have found such a trusting clinic.

Dr. Mitwally and his wife are just amazing! We have been to a lot of Reproductive endocrinologist before him, and no one, I mean Not a single one came across as compassionate, dedicated, optimistic and caring as Dr. Mitwally! He is very knowledgeable and he makes your protocol specific to you! So excited to start our journey of trying to build our family with Dr. Mitwally and his team :)

I have been seeing Dr. Mitwally for about a yr and half and just had our baby girl. I came to Dr. Mitwally after 5 IUIs with another doctor that had all failed. The other doctors prices and poor communication led me to seek out Dr. Mitwally and I’m so glad!! He is affordable compared to all others! And what you spend on IUI if they are not successful he will put that cost towards IVF!! This is unheard of people! Truly his goal is to help people have babies! Also he is the most accessible doctor I know! He gives his cell phone number out to his patients! This is crazy. I’m a nurse and I know doctors do not ever give their number out. He is happy for his patients to text him or call him with any questions or concerns.Mitwally really tries to keep cost at a minimum for his patients by ordering meds from overseas and labs when they are only necessary. Also he doesn’t waste time. That was one of my issues with my other doctor. I felt like they were not proactive in scheduling my IUIs and they didn’t talk to me once about IVF. The same month I was seeing Mitwally I was doing an IUI.Mrs. Mitwally and Aisha RN, that run the office are amazing. They are very comfortable to be around. They are supportive and encouraging. They all get along so well. It’s definitely a good family feeling when you are there.I highly recommend Dr. Mitwally to everyone seeking fertility assistance. When I started to see him May 2019 he said to me with God’s grace you will be pregnant a year from now. I was surprised he made that statement. I became pregnant Feb 2020. He was right. And I’m so happy he was.

Be Careful when you go with your spouse for an appointment. He will make them fill out forms, and you will sit in the room while he does an ultrasound. Then his office will charge you for 2(one for you and one for your spouse) co-pays. He also institutes scare tactics in vulnerable women, and pushes them to buy medication directly from his office (>$500). I strongly recommend obtaining a second opinion from other offices in the area, for such a serious an expensive decision.

Very caring, compassionate, positive and takes the time thats needed with every patient. He discusses different processes with you but does not push you to making a choice, he allows you to decide. He also listens and is very calming with anxiety of infertility.

Dr.Mitwally is the best Dr Ive ever had, he took his time helping us make our family dreams (3 babies over a span of 4 years) a reality. Youll never find anyone like him, truly one of a kind.
