Atlantic Reproductive is an amazingly inclusive practice! Kelsey Daly made my wife and I feel welcome and at ease from day one. As the non-bio mom I never felt excluded from the process. I cant say enough wonderful things about the staff at Atlantic! As a 3x surrogate, I know my prospective may be from a slightly different angle - but one thing I know for sure is as my monitoring clinic, ARMS has taken excellent care of each step leading up to the IVF transfers for me and my crew. I cannot thank the Team at Atlantic Fertility enough for their kindness and patience. I was with another clinic for four years and never had success. They just kept trying the same things over and over. Dr. Peavey really took the time to listen to my concerns and allowed me to help chart my path. After 6 failed transfers at the other clinic, I was successful on my first Transfer with Atlantic and am currently 11 weeks pregnant!!!I truly believe it is because of their willingness to try things differently and really listen.Thank you!!

Dr. Copland was absolutely wonderful! We came for a second opinion and were so grateful for the amount of time she took to explain everything to us. I always recommend Atlantic Reproductive Medicine to anyone who is struggling with fertility. I love Dr. Peavey and the office staff, they put you at ease and are very friendly and easy to get a hold of. Dr. Peavey is very good at explaining difficult and sensitive topics in a positive and clear way and you leave knowing your plan of action and next steps. ARM is also very affordable compared to the other fertility clinics in the area. Competent, kind, and affordable, I cant recommend them enough.Thank you ARM and Dr. Peavey!

We absolutely love Dr.Peavy and her staff. We have gotten so close to them they are like family. We are thankful for our IVF journey with them.

Cant recommend Atlantic Reproductive Medicine or Dr. Peavey enough. She is the best doctor Ive ever had and it feels like she is in your corner. Everyone at the clinic is so kind, and it comes across that they truly care. The nurse practitioners are awesome, and you never wait long or feel rushed.The clinic itself is easy to get to and has a calming atmosphere. Also, the phlebotomist is 10/10 even though I am a notorious hard stick.I havent gotten pregnant yet but I am hopeful!My only complaint is that for IVF they have a BMI cut off.

Would recommend anytime coming from someone with PCOS and in my 30s. I wish I came here sooner. No surprises. Their estimate prices are displayed online. I don’t see that often. Very affordable and informative. I did not feel rushed or pressured into anything. All my questions were answered even the silliest ones. I love how I was explained the process and procedures based on my options available. I really love how they are partnered with Progyny. They gave me a personal touch and I felt welcomed. I look forward to their services in the future!

We’ve had an incredible experience throughout our entire IVF journey. All the doctors are wonderful and truly listen to your concerns. They were able to squeeze me in for a scan when I was worried. Dr.Coward is amazing, he was willing to take a chance on my husband knowing our chances were slim. We’re now welcoming our baby in October, something we weren’t sure was possible 2 year ago. I can’t thank this team enough.

Dr. Peavey and Dr. Coward are two of the most understanding doctors we have ever had. They are thorough, knowledgeable, and above all compassionate. Infertility is not something I would wish on anyone, but to anyone who is unfortunately experiencing it, I will always recommend ARMS clinic. They have been amazing.

If I could give more than 10/10, I would. Not only is Dr Peavey a delight to work with, but everyone - from the front desk to the nurses/MAs/phlebotomist, to financial - literally everyone in the office has been beyond amazing throughout our entire experience. Dr Peavey is knowledgeable as well as compassionate and makes sure to explain things so that youre able to really understand all the details, no matter how small.

This is the best place in the Triangle for fertility treatments. The staff from the doctors (big shoutout especially to Dr. Peavey!), nurses, phlebotomists, and office staff truly become a home during your time here. I had a very low chance of becoming pregnant and most clinics would turn this away to boost their numbers, but Dr. Peavey worked with us to fine tune a plan that has been successful. I am grateful for everyones help during the stages in our journey. Only caveat? The portal is a big wonky.

I am currently in process of my first IVF cycle with ARMS and I would absolutely recommend them to anyone considering this clinic. Dr. Copland and the entire team there have been so wonderful to work with.100% worth the drive from Wilmington to Raleigh. They are all very professional while making my treatment plan feel very personal. They take the time to listen, answer all of our questions and they are always fast to respond. This clinic was recommended to me by a couple of friends and I am so thankful I listened to them and chose ARMS.

From the very first conversations my wife and I had with Dr. Copland, we felt at ease and confident in the care we would receive. The office staff and providers are kind, calm, knowledgable and they listen to you - which is something I have not found in many Doctors offices in the Triangle area. This facility is one of a kind. The doctors on staff are TOP NOTCH. I was experiencing a true emergency over the weekend, so I placed a call to the emergency line. I had the founder (Dr. Copland) call me that night (on a Friday night), who then forwarded my concern to my Doctor, Dr. Coward. Dr. Coward called me Friday night around 9mm due to the nature of the pain I was experiencing. This is an anomaly for any doctor to call their patient on a Friday night after 8pm. They normally tell you to go to the nearest emergency room. He was able to call in a prescription to the closest pharmacy (I was out of town). The next morning the pharmacy had to call him to confirm the prescription, and he actually picked up the phone and spoke to the pharmacy on Saturday morning before 10am. With Dr. Coward speaking with the pharmacy, I was able to have my prescription filled, and feeling worlds better with in a few short hours.I cannot recommend this facility enough. Top notch doctors. Top notch facility. They are compassionate, empathetic, sympathetic, and completely understanding. They will do everything in their power to help families achieve their dreams of creating and forming families. If you are attempting to build your family, please go see this facility before any other facility. You will not be disappointed.Again, HUGE shoutout to Dr. Coward, and Dr. Copland. We have had nothing but phenomenal times at this clinic. Everyone is professional and helpful, from the doctors to the phone staff. We switched clinics to come here and it was the best decision for our journey.

The fertility journey is never easy especially for someone who has lost a parent. Today i came in for an IUI and i always wear something of my mothers to feel closer to her. As i was leaving CNA Adrienne hugged me. That was something that i really needed today. It made me feel so special. ARMS is more than just a fertility clinic; it is a place where patients are supported and treated as family.

Best place to go for your reproductive needs. I was seen here almost two years ago. Dr. Copeland was OUTSTANDING. She helped me get my twins. They turn 1 in a month. I am forever grateful to my dr.

I have had the most amazing experience at Atlantic Reproductive! I see Dr. Copeland. She is warm, caring, and always happy to answer any questions. The front desk staff always greets with a smile. I have never had to wait longer than a few minutes for my appointment. The nurses are gentle and caring and also always happy to answer any questions. There is a patient portal where you can send a message any time. I get responses extremely quickly, even on the weekends. On the financing side, I always talk to Sarah, and she is excellent. Always very nice and helpful. This is the 3rd fertility clinic I have been to, and my favorite. I feel like I’m in excellent hands with people who care about me and my success. I am so happy a friend of mine recommended this clinic.

Everything about this practice was simply wonderful! Dr. Walmer is 100% amazing! He is always welcoming with compassion and has great bedside manners, all while being honest and providing information needed. I did see Dr. Copland a couple times when my Dr. was out of the office, and she was also great! The embryologists and team were also amazing, especially Robin! The clinical staff is so sweet and compassionate and responds quickly in the patient portal. Front desk receptionist were always welcoming with a warm smile and quick to answer any questions. The financial department was also kind and quick to answer any questions.The overall environment is simply wonderful! I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking the best fertility specialist!!!

Clinically, the team at Atlantic is wonderful! Dr. Peavey was our physician and we loved her and the nursing team!Unfortunately, as previous reviews mention, the administrative side of things, specifically finance, is such a mess that it sours the entire experience. Patti and her daughter, Izzy, are the two members of the financial team. They are unresponsive for weeks at a time, forcing you to then make quick decisions before beginning cycles. Their non-responsiveness leaves you little time to work out things with insurance, line up your own expenses, etc. Unless youre planning to do a 3-cycle plan and not have to involve finance after the initial payment, I do not recommend this clinic.

Dr. Copeland is great. Otherwise I have not had a great experience. Scheduling has improved now that I can text to schedule, sometimes they do not text back but that seems to be improving. Otherwise the primary form of communication after talking to the Dr is through the portal scheduling next steps, but the replies you get on the portal give different messages from what the Dr said. So you really have to be a self advocate and know your own treatment plan in and out otherwise I feel like you may get misdirected/misscheduled/or not scheduled at all bc no one replies to you. And because windows are so specific that you need to be seen, you may end up waiting an entire month.

From day one, the entire ARMS staff was so supporting and caring. Both me and my husband felt heard, understood, and supported throughout the entire process. ARMS was extremely responsive, easy to work with, and highly knowledgeable at every point of communication. We went through two IVF cycles with the second being a success and are now expecting our first child. I highly recommend ARMS and Dr. Peavey to anyone navigating a fertility journey.

My experience at Atlantic Reproductive, from start to finish (when I graduated from their care with my current pregnancy), was exceptional, thoughtful and thorough. I was fortunate enough to benefit from the care of Dr. Walmer, Dr. Peavey, and Dr. Copland and with each interaction I felt I was receiving expert care and knowledge and being set up for my best chance of success. They were readily available to answer questions at all times. Scheduling appointments was never a challenge and the Nurse Practitioners were also phenomenal. Dr. Peavey performed my two procedures and I feel so fortunate to have had her compassionate hand guiding those. Dr. Walmer and Dr. Copland truly made me feel I was working with top of the line experts. Since graduating from the program, Ive found myself missing their care and my regular appointments there, but Im so grateful for the outcome they made possible. I will recommend them to anyone finding themselves in need of fertility care.

Dr Peavey and Dr Coward have been amazing to work with and we feel very confident that we will have a positive outcome due to their guidance through a stressful process. They are both very knowledgeable and great at what they do. We are so thankful to have found them!

This place is absolutely amazing! The staff is so attentive and really sweet. The front desk always finds time to squeeze you in if youre worried about something. Also, the wait is never crazy. I came from a bigger fertility clinic and would be waiting for hours for one appointment but thats never the case here. I love all the staff but especially Dr. Peavey! Shes honestly the best doctor I have ever had. She explains everything in detail, shes so empathetic, and shes very responsive. I highly highly highly recommend this place!

I have had the best experience with ARMS. Dr. Peavy has been the absolute best. she is thoughtful and caring and patient during a very emotional process. I would send everyone I know there. they have a streamlined process, beautiful facilities, and people with a heart of gold.

All of the doctors are amazing. It does take some time to get a new patient appointment, but once you do you are able to get appointments quickly. The doctors listened to what I had to say and my concerns. They sat down with me and explained my diagnosis, and we created a plan to follow to increase chances of pregnancy.

I have to agree with many of the reviews I am seeing on here. Medical care providers are AMAZING but the office management side of things has room to grow. Considering the nature of this practice I would expect higher standards for office staff. If someone is seeking care here they are excited and possibly have faced years of heartache preceding contacting ARMS. It shouldn’t be acceptable for it to take two weeks to receive a 3 sentence response via email. Especially when I receive an response from healthcare staff usually within an hour on the portal. Unfortunately, I know how busy all IVF offices are at this time; not to mention I have completed all the preliminary requirements…otherwise I might consider shopping around a little more. The amazing care the medical staff provides does balance out the lacking office management, but I would love to see ARMS just be a great experience all around since their purpose is to provide excited families with a child.

We had a great experience at this clinic. Doctor Coward was an amazing and kind surgeon for my husband. Doctor Peavey was always kind and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Could not recommend this clinic enough.

I really recommended this clinic to those who want to have a baby through assistive technology.Before I decided to choose Atlantic fertility, I had compared other top-ranked fertility clinics. The doctors, nurses, and clinic environment made me feel very comfortable. After the second visit, I was very determined to choose this group. Yes, its the best one for me and my family. All the doctors and nurses are very professional and attentive. My doctor, Dr. Peavey, made me a treatment plan that overall followed my medical condition and respected my personal opinion based on her experiences. When I have any confusion or questions in the process, I can get solutions and suggestions in time, including my medications instruction, financial payment, or urgent problems.Now, Im successfully pregnant. Thanks to Dr. Peavey, Dr. Walmer, the IVF lab team, and all nurses and staff at Atlantic Reproductive Medicine! Hopefully more and more people would know about this wonderful clinic and meet this great group!

Fertility issues are tough and finding a good reproductive team is hard. I’ve worked with another reproductive specialist in the past and was very frustrated with the process. When I came to Atlantic it was a breath of fresh air. I never have felt rushed and no matter how many questions I’ve had everyone is patient and makes sure I’m comfortable with the answers provided. Scheduling appointments bare easy and the front desk staff are always accommodating and friendly. The entire medical staff makes you feel welcome and did I mention how patient and kind they are? We’ve worked with Dr. Walmer and you can tell he truly cares about you and wants the absolute best outcome. Amazing experience I will continue to work with them. It feels great to say with no hesitation I’ve found my reproductive team!

Im sure the doctors may be wonderful or so I was told. We were referred here and I had one consultation in the fall. After reviewing other clinics in the area, I came back to Atlantic in March and was told that Id need to set another consultation instead of being able to move forward as an existing patient. Well I specifically asked for an in-person office visit as my first consultation was virtual and was not exactly a memorable experience. I even visited the office a few weeks prior to make sure that another consultation was really needed instead of an appointment with the doctor. The front desk staff told me to speak with Dr. Peavys Clent, I believe her name was Ivy. She confirmed that indeed I needed a new consultation and that my appointment was in person on April 4th. Fast forward to April 4th and the day before I received my appointment confirmation for a VIRTUAL consultation. I tried calling to let them know that I was expecting to come to the office but could not get through. They literally NEVER answer their phone calls and certainly NEVER return phone calls within the same day as they claim. I was left not sure of what to do so I logged on a few minutes early and after 10 minutes, no one was on the call. I sent a message to the clinic via their portal fearing that Id miss the appointment with Dr. Peavy so I immediately drove to the office and arrived at 12:10. My appointment was supposed to be from 11:30 to 12:30. I notified the front desk of what I was experience and said someone would be right out to see me. At 12:30, Ivy comes into the empty lobby to tell me that I missed my appointment and would need to reschedule. I explained that we had logged on and didnt see the doctor. Then I reminded her that the appointment was botched from the 1st place because I had CONFIRMED an in-person appointment with HER. She lied and said she didnt work the front desk until I reminded her that I had stopped by one afternoon and directly spoke to her and then she admitted that it was indeed her. I could handle that they made a mistake but Ivys attitude was the worst. I said that for the money that people are about the spend there, it seems that theyd be better served seeking assistance elsewhere to which she shrugged her shoulders and said then go somewhere else then. She insisted that I should have called and left a message and when I pointed out that I did call and sent messages she made no effort to help deescalate the scenario at all. She insisted that Dr. Peavy had called me twice during my appointment which doesnt make sense as I my husband and I were both in the virtual invite. If indeed Dr. Peavy had tried calling, she could have sent me a response via the portal or even sent me a text message or email to let me know that she was trying to connect with me. So we took Ivys advice and went elsewhere and are scheduled for our IVF next month. Administratively, this was a subpar medical experience. I sent a message through my portal and even requested another appointment in the aftermath and still never heard back from their clinic. They must have taken on too many clients too quickly or something because they completely lack the ability to properly schedule and clients or even provide decent service. With everything youd have to go through for IVF and with a staff, I’d suggest going elsewhere where they can actually give a damn about their patients.

Over 4 years ago we met with Dr. Copeland to discuss IVF after all other options were exhausted. It was a very tough decision based on the cost alone but we really liked Dr. Copeland and trusted her so we pulled the trigger. Not long after we we had the best surprise ever that we were having a baby. The entire experience was very emotional and amazing and we ultimately had an amazing little boy that has become our greatest joy! We were lucky enough to have extra embryos that have been in storage and unfortunately due to our age we have decided not to have another child. The main reason for updating our rating to a lower rate is based on a recent experience. We scheduled an appointment to speak with Dr. Copeland to ask her advice on the next step as we have thought about donating our two remaining embryos to a couple in need. The day before the appointment we were told before we could speak with Dr. Copeland we needed to pay an outstanding balance for storage and an additional fee of $150 to talk with her. This was very disappointing after how much money we have spent. We have no issue about paying the storage amount due but the nickel and dime aspect changed our perception that we are just customers. Overall it could have been handled differently as this is a very emotional decision we have to make and we trusted them for this support. We will be paying our outstanding balance of course and seek advice elsewhere. In the end we are without a doubt extremely thankful to Dr. Copeland for making our dreams come true so thank you Dr. Copeland!

I worked with Dr. Copland who was very well-informed regarding my particular/rare medical condition and needs. She did not take unnecessary risks, was always honest and clear about our plan and expectations, and was flexible with the plan of care when necessary (and we were successful!). She knows the latest research and methods, which guided her decisions and suggestions. One thing I like a lot about this practice is that, unlike many other fertility clinics, my doctor led each appointment (from consult to monitoring), and she was consistently accompanied by one of two nurses. There was never a question if they knew my particular case and needs. The only time I met with a different doctor was when I required weekend monitoring and she wasnt on-call. Even then, Dr. Walmer was well-informed about my specific case. That level of continuity and consistency was essential for me in choosing this practice, as I had a very different experience previously. Another important note is that everyone (nurses and doctors) were consistently responsive and punctual with Patient Portal messages.

Best team you could ask for when it comes to infertility issues. The staff is friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. I have always been able to ask questions if needed, although the explanations and care plans have been carefully explained and laid out so that they are easy to follow and understand. I feel a personal connection with the doctors and nurses instead of feeling like just another number or case like all the rest. I am confident that they extend this same individualized care to each of their patients. It is obvious that this facility cares about the population it serves and the care it provides.

I was originally a patient with Atlantic back in 2015 but had to take an extended break due to spouse illness. We resumed care in 2020 and Dr.Copland picked up right where we left off. Labs, in clinic tests and ultrasounds are all done efficiently and according to protocol. Correspondence through my patient portal was always reliable with a clinic nurse. After a recommended myomectomy to remove a fibroid I was able to pursue IVF with double donor at age 45 and was successful on the first attempt. The actual day of embryo transfer went exactly according to plan! We now have a sweet little boy thanks to Dr. Copland and her team!

Although the doctors here are wonderful, administratively it has been a very poor experience. Weeks or even months of delays, not hearing back on scheduling or finance issues even weeks after our insurance company has told us that items are approved on their end, and multiple times of me sitting in the waiting room for 30+ minutes while someone was supposed to come out within a few minutes to collect a (time sensitive) sample because they hadn’t properly checked me in at the front desk. They must have taken on too many clients too quickly or for some other reason have lost the ability to properly schedule and handle the finance side of things in anything resembling an efficient manner. We are approaching IVF with them and wish we could switch to another group but at this point are too concerned we’d just lose more time. I’d suggest going elsewhere.

Dr. Peavey has been so wonderful to us during our IVF journey. The financial team seems to be a little understaffed, so we have had issues with knowing our financial responsibilities up front. The clinical side has been amazing and supportive though.

Prior to coming to Atlantic Reproductive Medicine we went to another fertility clinic but without a doubt they were not for us. We felt like were were just another number. My primary care provider recommended Dr. Copeland and it was the best decision we could have made. I dont have enough words to say how much I adore Atlantic Reproductive Medicine. From the front desk, lab, nurses, finance, embryologists, to Dr. Copeland, the entire staff is phenomenal. They made me and my husband feel like we were their only patients. I would be remised not to mention Natalie from Shared Beginnings, she is was amazing and worked tirelessly with us. As a couple of color infertility is not talked about in our community so having a safe place to not only receive care but also discuss our fears and concerns was a God send. I tell everyone about Atlantic Reproductive Medicine.

Couldnt recommend ARMS more! The entire clinic is wonderful. Jessie and Sarah at the front are extremely helpful and responsive, the medical assistants have all be so welcoming, and the nurses are so quick to respond and help when questions come up. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Walmer, he has such an amazing and calming bedside manner and is truly your advocate. He also always wants to hear your thoughts and ensure that all of your questions are answered. You can tell he takes so much pride in what he does and he truly wants the best results for all of his patients!

This review of mine has been long pending. Where do I even begin, our journey with ARMS has been nothing but amazing. Dr.Copland is a very compassionate and caring doctor. She would every time patiently explained us the process and our chances on conceiving. She never rushed us into making any decision. Her loving and personalized care made it so much easier for us to go through the stressful process. All the staff is very professional and yet caring.Its because of their love, care and efforts we are blessed with a baby boy who is 8 months now. I had the pleasure of beginning the journey of starting a family with Dr. Copland and the staff at Atlantic Reproduction. It is hard to believe that a about year ago, my husband and I sat anxious and frustrated in Dr. Copland’s office with hopes of starting a family and here we are today with beautiful 3 month old twin boys. We received the highest level of care and compassion from Dr. Copland and Dr. Walmer and can sing nothing but praises about our experience. We were comfortable throughout our treatment process and always felt well informed and that it was easy to communicate with Drs and staff. I cannot thank Dr. Copland enough for helping me start my family, I am eternally grateful.

Dr. Copland and her entire staff are beyond words. After some testing today, I was reminded once again of how amazing Dr. Copland and her staff are. Her sweet nurse even stood beside me and gave me a touch of comfort as I tensed up from a bit of pain. Dr. Copland is personable, gentle, and always willing to answer questions. She informs you of every move she is making and has the best bedside manner of any doctor I’ve ever encountered. Even the front desk staff, the financial manager (Patti), and the phlebotomist are super friendly and patient. In fact, I recently had a rare financial discrepancy and Patti quickly resolved the issue by simply being willing to listen (hey, this is rare these days!) and making the effort to review notes. I can honestly say that even if my cycle is unsuccessful, I will always sing ARM’s praises.

Dr. Peavey is without a doubt the best doctor Ive seen. She is so human, caring, clear, and considerate. From our very first meeting, I felt so heard, respected, and like I was working with someone who really understood what her patients deal with. She also clearly knows her stuff and stays up to date.In our initial consultation, I told her I was looking for help with fertility but also that I needed someone well-versed in PCOS and endocrinology to help me manage it, as there is a real lack of PCOS-literate endocrinologists in the area. She fully understood right away and walked me through all things PCOS, which showed me that we were on the same page. It was an incredible relief to find her.Knowing Im working with a competent, considered provider to manage my PCOS is one thing, but she has also given us so much hope for fertility. We had previously worked with a doctor who did very little and was Dr. Peaveys opposite, trying one option and giving up. We were told we had to do IVF after that one attempt, a directive that felt very profit-focused instead of patient-focused.Dr. Peavey right away saw THREE other avenues we could try before even considering IVF. While Im not yet pregnant, weve seen really encouraging results. These methods are absolutely worth exploring before jumping straight to IVF!Bottom line, go see her. She knows her stuff and she takes the time to treat her patients like people. Seeing encouraging messages in my patient portal from her, messages that are entirely unnecessary from a medical standpoint, really brightens my day and keeps my spirits up in this challenging process.

I cannot say enough about Atlantic Reproductive Medicine!! Dr. Walmer is a truly amazing doctor and his entire staff is wonderful! Everyone there made us feel like family and every visit (even the difficult ones) were made enjoyable. Each member of the team has a true calling in this field! My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Walmer and his team at ARMS. We were told because of my endometriosis by another specialist that having a family of our own may not be possible and Dr. Walmer made it happen despite the odds. They treated us like family, helped us make the best medical decisions based on our case and stood by us through so many ups and downs! The entire process was almost effortless thanks to the compassion and assistance of everyone in his office. We never felt like we were in the dark at any point and if one protocol didn’t work he helped us keep going until we figured out one that did. The entire team does an excellent job at fast communication which made a huge difference during the key parts of treatment and our worries were always met with immense compassion and understanding. Going through infertility struggles can be incredibly hard but this is the one team of specialists who will care for you like they care for their own families and that’s the reason (aside from innovative medical advances) that we had success in becoming parents. We now have a beautiful and healthy 4 month old daughter thanks to Dr. Walmer and Dr. Copland.

I cannot begin to say enough positive things about my experience at Atlantic Reproductive, Dr. Walmer and his team. After struggling at another clinic for 6 months and feeling like nothing more than a number I found my way to Atlantic where I received individualized, compassionate, and incredible care. I love this place. It was not hard getting an appointment and the staff were very nice and professional. Dr. Copeland was very helpful and explained everything to me and what was going on with my care. She is very caring and understanding. If it was not for Dr. Copeland, I will not have gotten back on track and I would not be able to have my daughter in September. I am so grateful that Dr. Copeland helped me and I recommend anybody to her and the practice.

We are not a text book case and probably require a specialist at this point, but after switching clinics I now see how special ARMS is. We never once felt like a number, Dr. Copland never made me feel like it wasn’t worth a try, and she was always willing to “take a leap of faith” with me, while simultaneously acknowledging the odds. The nurses and staff (every single one of them) were always warm and compassionate. I always got an answer quickly by portal or phone call. After our loss we received genuine messages of condolences, and even a message wishing us well when we left. Every appointment I saw MY doctor (unless she was out of town), she always explained every detail of my scans and bloodwork, and never made me feel like my questions or ideas were petty or silly. After going to a different clinic and having a very negative experience, we are now considering returning if we can not find a specialist we can afford.

Im giving this place 1 star because they make you have a ultrasound to be able to schedule a baseline ultrasound when the baseline ultrasound is to look at everything and evaluate things like the lining of your uterus, making sure your ovaries look good, that there are no cysts etc. Also they require a pap from an obgyn before able to make a ultrasound appointment.

After having had our first visit with Dr. Copland, my husband and I are very satisfied. Before visiting Atlantic Reproductive Medicine we had already seen two fertility specialists in the area and both doctors only looked at the number on the scale and refused to establish any type of treatment. Dr. Copland treated us as people and not as a number on the scale and was very thorough when explaining of all our options and treatment. We couldnt be happier with the treatment we have received so far!

My experience at Atlantic Reproductive was phenomenal. Dr. Walmer and his staff went above and beyond supporting my husband and I during our journey with unexplained infertility, including during an overnight ER visit (related to early pregnancy not fertility treatment). I felt like every procedure was adequately explained and professionally performed, and I always received quick feedback on their portal. Not only was their medical care excellent, Dr. Walmer and staff were incredibly caring and emotionally supportive, and I truly felt their joy when I came into the office for my early pregnancy ultrasound!

We have not had the experience of getting pregnant with our miracle baby yet but we only did our first round of IUI last week. So far it has been such a great experience with Atlantic Reproductive. I really do feel like I am there only patient. Whenever I send a message on the portal I get a response almost immediately, even got a response from Dr. Walmer on a Saturday. Here’s hoping for our little miracle soon and I would recommend Atlantic Reproductive to anyone.

I have been been here twice as a surrogate and saw Dr Copeland both times. The intended parents were from out of state so Atlantic Reproductive was my satalite clinic but both experiences were A1 from front desk to the nurses to the doctors. The facility is calm and tranquil. I had two successful first time is the charm carries with Atlantic Reproductive. Now my husband and I are looking for a fertility clinic to implant some of our own frozen embryos. He wanted to return to the facility that we were at when we first had them frozen but we have moved a great distance from that facility. After reading him the reviews and hearing the response from the staff we are both excited about having our own baby with Atlantic reproductive. 😁

Dr. Walmer was incredible. Not only was he able to finally fulfill my dream of becoming a mom, but he was caring and compassionate at every appointment. We had an incredible experience at Atlantic Reproductive. We struggled with infertility for many many years and like the previous reviewer, moved to Atlantic from one of the other well-known clinics in the area. Dr. Copland is truly a special person. She cares so deeply about her patients and from the second we met her we felt that she was invested in our journey. She takes great care to understand the uniqueness of each of her patients story and customizes treatment based on even the smallest nuances and details. This is the most caring, responsive, and professional medical practice I have ever seen operate. Dr. Walmer and Dr. Copland are patient and informative. Every time I have an appointment, I am in and out. The staff is supportive and friendly. Dr. Peavey is very nice and helpful. She assured that I knew the terminology of what we were discussing. The appointment scheduling is quite flexible and I usually can be in within a good time frame of calling.

The office staff is amazing! They are quick to respond to questions or concerns and are very helpful and knowledgeable. The waiting room is beautiful, relaxing, and does not feel like a typical waiting room. Dr Copland is compassionate yet informative. She is also very patient and kind. Finding the right fertility clinic for you is a bit like dating, you have to find the right fit for you. Atlantic Reproductive Medicine Specialists (ARMS) is a perfectly adequate fertility clinic. Through their care I have two beautiful girls and we can’t thank them enough. Indeed, they are quite personable including the hugs and prayers (as referenced in other reviews), which can be charming.It is a small clinic and in many ways, this can make things more personable, however, I agree with Ann McCoy’s review and encourage you to review it as well. Should your case be remotely complicated it may be best to find a larger clinic with greater resources. In our quest for a third child I know that ARMS threw everything in their repertoire towards my case, but their medical notes left my new clinic baffled and the issues I had were not duplicated at the new clinic.My new clinic is quite large (and out of state) but large doesn’t always correlate to impersonal. ARMS follows HIPAA almost to a fault, meaning all correspondence and data is sent through their portal. I rarely spoke to the nurses and ALL emails go through the portal, which is cumbersome and frustrating when you have a lot of questions (which you will). More than once the nurses at ARMS confused me with another concurrent case, and one time a nurse gave me the wrong dosing instructions. My current clinic over communicates by comparison; they contacted me by phone after every appointment and answered my emails promptly. This worked for me because I love data and being able to discuss my case with them.If you’re looking for a clinic, again, ARMS is adequate and all staff are pleasant, however, I strongly recommend doing a lot of research on this and any other clinics you are considering.

I see Dr. Walmer and from the moment we started with this clinic, I have felt heard and cared for. We are doing embryo adoption and have not yet undergone a transfer, but I am confident that when we do, the exceptional care will continue. Being able to communicate via portal with my doctor and the nurses is also a huge plus. Would 100% recommend.

Everyone here has been wonderful! Dr. Walmer truly cares for his patients. Instead of sticking you in a box - which is what I experienced at another fertility clinic - he puts together a plan specifically for you. Everyone in this office is extremely nice from the nurses, to the front desk, doctors and financial staff. I couldn’t imagine a better place to be going. Highly recommend!

I feel incredibly cared for and supported at Atlantic Reproductive. Dr. Copland takes your physical and mental health into consideration for her recommendations. The clinic is extremely responsive and doesnt seem to be bothered by my constant questions/messages! Infertility is hard, but they make it a little bit better.

Atlantic Reproductive Medicine is by far the best in triangle area. All of the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive to your needs. After our initial consultation in January of 2019, we are so impressed with ARMS. Talking to Dr. Walmer was like sitting down with a friend of the family. He put us completely at ease with his demeanor, the manner in which he delivered complicated information, and his understanding of the emotional decisions we are currently facing. The staff was both professional and warm. The comforting accessibility of the doctors and the staff was outlined for us thoroughly, making us feel like we wouldnt be alone in any step of our treatment. We were in search of a specific feel in choosing a fertility clinic, and though we had been warned that all IVF clinics might be coldly scientific and transactional, we found quite the opposite at Atlantic and certainly felt compassionately embraced and safe.Update (April): We are now in the middle of our IVF process (working with Dr. Walmer) and have had many interactions with people who work at ARMS- from the nurses who draw blood, to teaching nurses, to embryologists and nurse anesthetists. EVERYONE has been amazingly open, kind, and nurturing. There is an incredible accessibility to our doctor and the nurses and their responses to questions seem almost immediate (24/7). I continue to be so grateful that this is where we landed. This is such a personal and vulnerable process and I can’t imagine we could have found a more trustworthy or loving group.

I came to ARMS after visiting with another reproductive doctor (which I was sorely disappointed in their approach after meeting with them for the first time). ARMS staff is so much more professional and concerned about the patient first and foremost. First you meet with the doctor, not a PA, but and actual doctor. In my case it was Dr. Copland who was diligent in learning about me and my history. She approached my situation with sincere openness. She did every test possible before she made any assumptions, but during the process kept me well aware what were the possibilities and how we could approach all outcomes. Every step of the way Dr. Copland and every person on staff at ARMS is responsive, caring, and personable. I didnt feel like a number, but someone they authentically cared about. There were hugs, smiles, and encouragement every step of the way... even through my tears. I cant thank them enough for getting me through this process and I can say I am currently pregnant with my first child via IVF.

I had heard about Dr Copland through the grapevine years ago, before I knew I ever needed fertility treatments- when I found out I did need them- I was so glad I went to Atlantic Reproductive. I had the opportunity to work with ARMS on my pathway to motherhood and found them to be extremly supportive, professional and communicative. I have visited Dr. Walmer; he is so kind and welcoming. We have explained our problems with having a baby. I told him that we tried 5 IUI cycles with Follistim and none of the cycles worked and that was with a different clinic. So now, in the initial appointment with Dr. Walmer, he told me that my thing is called Unexplained Infertility; He came up with a plan for us and was very confident that it would work for us. If I could give them 10 stars I would!! The staff is always there to help with questions/concerns. And they try to make an anxious time less stressful. I am a patient of the Atlantic Shared beginnings program and I can’t say enough good things about Natalie and the care she gives her clients. The whole experience, though stressful, cause well it’s infertility, was made pleasant by this office and the miracles they are working!! I’m currently in my tww of an FET and I’ve never been so hopeful in my whole 14 year journey. Wish I would’ve found Atlantic Reproductive And Atlantic Shared Beginnings sooner!!

We came from another big name practice in the area and there was a night and day difference in the care we received here, and outcome! We had no idea we could have such an amazing IVF experience. From the beginning to end the Dr. Copeland was there every step of the way. In comparison to where we just came from... It was cheaper with my same insurance; Dr Copeland had a back up plan (which we used and our other practice did not); we got regular calls from Dr Copeland; we got called back when we had to call after hours; we never waited more than a couple minutes for an appointment (if that); a staff member even volunteered to watch our two kids so my husband could be present for the transfer; and three times when we came in for a weekend u/s or a procedure the doctor was the one to greet us at the desk. It is clear Dr Copeland and Dr. Walmer enjoy taking care of their patients!

I can’t say enough good things about this entire practice. Dr. Walmer is the most caring and brilliant human being I have ever met. We truly feel cared for like family by all the staff. I’ll be forever grateful to them for helping us become parents to our amazing daughter and hopefully more children in the future.

Update: I am happy to share that our ivf was successful this time and I now have a healthy 5month old baby . All thanks to Dr. Walmer for not giving up.I have only nice things to say about Atlantic and Dr. Walmer. Visiting them for last 2 years, I did conceive through IVF 2 times but ended with miscarriage. We are trying different approach this time and I trust the doctors here to make it happen this time . I definitely recommend this clinic to others.

Dr. Walmer is absolutely the best. He took the time to learn me and my situation. He listened to what I was going through and came up with a game plan with me and my husband. He is very knowledgeable and explained things without speaking over our heads. Dr. Walmer and his staff were very kind and made me feel comfortable with all the crazy questions that I had during this experience. My OB referred me to see a specialist. She gave a list of about 4-5 places to call and research. I did my homework on all the places and found that Atlantic Reproductive was the best fit for me. There are a lot of other big places out there to go, but you are 1 tiny little fish in that big sea. When I called the other places, they were several weeks out for an appt. and they seemed to busy to answer my questions. Not Atlantic Reproductive though, I was seen quickly and I love their patient portal where you can e-mail....and they actually respond quickly. My first appt. with Dr. Walmer was in Nov. 2018 and by April 2019 we were pregnant! I went in for my first ultrasound on May 28th and the babys heartbeat was great. Just hearing that heartbeat brought me and my husband to tears.I see my regular OB in the middle of June and I will definitely make sure to tell her how well I was taken care of by Atlantic Reproductive. When she gave me the list of all the specialists to call, she did not give a recommendation because she has not personally heard about anyones experience. Well she will definitely hear about my experience and now she will have a reason to put Atlantic Reproductive at the top of that list and tell folks that they came highly recommended.Good luck to the others out there trying to have a baby! I hope things work out well for each of you too!!!!

Excellent center! We switched from another fertility place (that was very disappointing = 2 failed IUIs and no change in how they did things) based on the reviews. At our first appointment, my husband and I were instantly impressed and comfortable with Dr. Walmer. He answered our questions, did an ultrasound and blood work and actually knew what he was talking about. We planned our 3rd IUI with Atlantic and Dr. Copland actually performed the procedure and was very impressed with her and the rest of the staff. We are now 14 weeks pregnant. Amazing staff and facility. They have a great personalized approach to infertility. Glad we switched!

After trying for two years to get pregnant on our own, my husband and I welcomed a son after undergoing IVF at ARMS. We always felt like our concerns were listened to and addressed, the staff and doctors were always on hand to answer our millions of questions or to talk us through sensitive topics relating to whatever procedure we were going through, and everyone in the office always had a smile or their face or a cheerful greeting whenever we were there. Everyone genuinely seems to enjoy their jobs, and it shows in the quality and compassion with which their care is delivered. Dr. Walmer was in charge of our care, and the amazing balance that he achieved between infertility expert (he has over 20 years of experience and it shows) and warm, empathetic doctor meant that we both enjoyed and felt confident about our appointments with him. We always left the office in a good mood, no matter what test or procedure we had just been through, because it was so obvious that we were in good hands.

The best fertility care can be found here! The ultrasound technicians were incredible and took the time to explain what they were seeing, and truly were excited

The Physicians are top notch...however they do not have enough lab space to accomodate current patients. The front staff lack any compassion whatsoever, billing, insurance verification and scheduling is a mess (and none of this will be disclosed to you up front), the portal is archaic however this is the only way youll be able to communicate with anyone- voicemails will only be returned telling you to go through the portal, instructions are copy and pasted without any reference to your particular situation (dates will be wrong, requirements incorrect). You will pay each time youd like to speak to your provider. You will be nickle and dimed in every possible way. If you are in anyway a complex patient or there is any possibility you may need multiple retrievals or transfers I highly suggest you choose another clinic.

I have not yet conceived... This is really only our 2nd month trying. Weve been working with Dr. Copland for a few months, now. Testing, trying with meds and trigger one month, and now this month about to try IUI. Ive had several appointments and ultrasounds. Dr. Copland insists on doing all of her own ultrasounds and on consulting with me personally after each one. It is like a personal doctors appt. each time in addition to regularly scheduled doctors appts. She has taken such care and concern and time in every meeting weve had (at least 5 or 6 in just a few months) to clearly and thoroughly explain things to me and to my husband and to never talk down to us nor to pressure us in any way into making decisions in any one direction. Our experience with out last fertility clinic was a nightmare in that regard, and this clinic is a TOTAL 180 degree turn from that. From the nurses to the ladies at the front desk to the people in the lab - all of them; they are patient, kind, accommodating, professional, understanding, non-pressuring, and comprise truly some of the BEST medical experiences Ive ever had of any type. I HIGHLY recommend them. Dr. Copland was out today, and Dr. Walmer did my Ultrasound and IUI consult. He was just as nice and patient and great to work with. He even worked me into his schedule super early (as Dr. Copland has also done before) just to help me out.

My wife and I have a wonderful experience with Dr. Walmer and the nurses, they are professional and knowledgable, provided and effective treatment and supporting during the journey with infertility. Finally my wife got nature pregnant, we really want to say thank you to Dr. Walmer and the nurses who taking excellent care of us!!!

I was under fertility treatment for many years at different facilities and it looked like my dream of becoming a mother was never going to happen until I started seeing doctor Walmer at ARMS back in 2017, he was always very understanding, knowledgeable and just a wonderful person to have as a provider I feel truly grateful and blessed he was there with us thru all the ups and downs now after 3 years of treatments, 2 failed FETS and surgeries God had blessed me and my husband with twins! I moved to Atlantic Reproductive from Carolina Conceptions after feeling like I was in an assembly line who was never in contact with a Dr about my plan. Atlantic Reproductive is the complete opposite! The second you walk through the door you feel like family. I see Dr. Walmer and have been for almost a year now. He never fails to give me a hug everytime he sees me. I feel so comfortable knowing that hes always on our side every step of our journey. Dr. Walmer does all of his own ultrasounds and then speaks with you about them EVERY appointment, without feeling rushed, and can tailor your plan right there on the spot. One thing I like most about Dr. Walmer is his ability to talk to me as a scientist and a Dr (him being educated in both) and help me understand issues in detail. My husband and I have done oral medications, IUI and IVF with Dr. Walmer. We have also met Dr. Copeland when Dr. Walmer is out of the country doing his work in Haiti. Unfortunately we have a very rare case and are still trying to get pregnant. I would recommend Atlantic Reproductive to anyone and everyone! Dr Walmer and Dr. Copeland are wonderful people and truly care about your specific journey.

So far my experience here has been great. Dr Copland and the staff are all friendly and respond to my many questions quickly. Doing our first IVF cycle with them now and Im hopeful.

We had only ever been to another clinic in town, so I had no basis for comparison. After reaching sort of an impasse with drug protocols and the outlook for “2nd-child-success” with our other clinic, a friend recommended ARMS. We were so blown away by how friendly the staff was during our initial consult ...even a seemingly small thing, like music being played overhead while we waited in the exam room, made us feel so much more at ease...and less “clinical.” So far, we could not be more impressed.

Given the uncertainty, anxiety, and spiritual confusion attending the desire to invite a wholly new creature into the world through ones own body, my experience of the doctors, technicians, and supporting staff of Atlantic has been warm, professional, and thoroughly human. This review is not based on a particular outcome, but a response to an extremely difficult process to emotionally absorb. The folks at Atlantic know your name, and treat you as such.

This is the first fertility place I have been to me and my partner have been trying to convince for a while and we said we need to see a specialist . Dr Copland was the best she explains everything in great detail and walks through a plan , she has great patience with us and I was afraid of the test I had to do but she was extremely supporting and it was so easy she made everything so easy unfortunately my insurance got canceled from the insurance company and I had to transfer out but she even called me to tell us good luck and even recommended some doctors , I would very much recommend this place I wish I could have stayed longer but couldnt .

Really poor experience with communication with this practice. When I called to check on lab results more than a week after getting tested, I never got a response. Eventually I was able to access the patient portal - Id been having trouble with it - and found the results there. The letter that accompanied them was a form letter full of medical jargon that didnt explain or interpret the results in anyway. I had to compare my results with explanations on other providers websites in order to understand them. One call back early on would have cleared so much up.

Dr Copeland has been awesome from day one. She explained the problems we were having and then explained all options that we would have in great detail and how things would work. Offered options that would work with our finances. Now just waiting to find out if we are pregnant.

Never got pregnant and tried to make a new appointment with new insurance and they never called me back. They want you to call your insurance and then call them because they can’t wait on hold.

Wasted $9,000 (used my entire insurance allotment for fertility coverage) and every time it was time to do my IUI he would cancel for a different reason but they made me prepare for everything and gave me tests I had already taken with duke fertility (charged me even more than duke did). Me and my husband soon realized all they were doing was milking us for money. I went through a depression after dealing with them. I really felt taken advantage of. Women that cant have children really will put our entire life savings into ttc, and for it to be taken advantage of is very cruel. Ladies I know how badly you just want to go to anyone who says they can help get you pregnant but please try anywhere else but here.

I had Surgery on December 6/2014, when I went back for F/U I was told every thing was ok. My uterus can carry a baby. I started over with my treatment, but was unsuccessful. However, something was clicking in my head to Ultrasound again, I decided to finding another Dr. where I was told I have a problem I cannot carry a baby for full term because of my uterus to be small. I told them I had surgery already. I gave them pictures, they compared nothing was done. I was screaming, crying because I have to go under anesthesia again and pay again. May 28/2015 I had another Surgery.

I feel so fortunate to have found Dr. Copland. Not only is she brilliant, but her level of patient care, comfort, communication, medical knowledge and ability to make it understandable to her patients surpasses all of my expectations.

I took a look through their website, I noticed no people of colour whatsoever. I inquired about this on their Facebook Messenger which they first read then ignored, so I asked again. They responded with Asia, we look to match egg donors with our clients who are in need of this service at any given time., evading the question. I asked then what this has to do with with advertising, when they then ignored again for a month. I then took another look through their website and Facebook page, and dozens of other women were asking the same question as me and were also being ignored. I posted a screenshot of the conversation to those womens responses. This is when the Atlantic Reproductive Medicine Specialists decided to respond to me. They then said as a quoted: Asia, this is a targeted egg donor campaign aimed at serving a need we currently have. What this means is that they were only advertising White women because thats the kind of business they have or want. They only want White women to donate eggs. They then blocked me so I could no longer respond. So now I will make everyone aware of the kind of business they run. This is a prime example of discrimination and its unfortunate that this business is running things this way. If anyone wants a full-account screenshot of the conversation as proof, please contact me further information. I would not advise doing business here if youre a minority, based off of what they told me, they do not want your business.

Dr. Copland is so thorough with her explanations and really makes you feel at ease with everything you are going through. I could ask for a better doctor and team to go through this process with!

I had a traumatic experience here that I will never forget. For basic reproductive needs Im sure theyre fine, but multiple experts have looked at our records and said that they have no idea why they did what they did. Our case was complicated and I wish more than anything we would have saved our money and gone elsewhere.

If there is one silver lining in having to go through treatments to get pregnant, it is to do it with Atlantic’s support! We could not be happier or more appreciative!

WORST place I have been to yet!!! I WILL NEVER return & will never recommend them to anyone!!! Drive over an 1 1/2 to them filled out all the paperwork, paid $156.00 just for there portal to stop working & them to refuse to give us our test results!!!! Feeling PISSED!!! Im telling all my friends & who I work with to NEVER go there!!!!
