Dr. Chowdhury and her staff were amazing! I was seen quickly, she listened to my description of symptoms, and she explained my diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare thoroughly. This was my first visit and I’ll definitely be returning for future care needs. Highly recommended!

I cant say enough good things about Dr. chowdhury. I am very uncomfortable with all doctors, much moreso with OB/GYNS. Dr. Chowdhury has the best bedside manner of any doctor Ive seen in my life. She makes patients comfortable with her hilarious small talk and does everything quickly and efficiently. Ive never once felt pain at an appointment with her, while every other provider of this type has seriously hurt me. I will never enjoy these types of appointments, but by far, she is the best provider there is for gynecology.

Absolutely appalling experience. Attempted to schedule an appointment with this gynecologist and was met with shocking rudeness and refusal to accept me as a patient without any valid explanation. As a healthcare provider, one would expect professionalism and respect, but sadly, this was severely lacking. Would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking compassionate care.

I was denied to see the doctor for initial consultation to establish the fetal term. Their refusal was based on the fact that I am approximately 20 weeks and 5 days (unconfirmed). This is review not for the Doctor herself but her staff members.

Called the doctors assistant, usually the female assistant is nice. This time a male person answered and was SO rude, asking for insurance info and screaming why it was not filled out before, why change in scheduling etc. Please do not scream at patients who might be in pain and coming to see you to feel better. Shame on you!

I would recommend Dr, Chowdhury to all! She is so kind and knowledgeable. She answers all questions I have and makes me feel very comfortable. The nurse was also extremely friendly. I’ve been going to here since 2017 and have no complaints!

Dr. Chowdry always makes my visits comfortable. I can ask all the questions I need and she answers them all. She explain things in a way that you can understand.

Very humble person and make sure you understand your situation and why you take your medicine .that’s why she gave you Specific note how you gonna take your medicine. Me & my wife glad & Appreciate thank you.

The Center For Women’s Health Care is AWESOME! Firstly, it’s never a long wait time, the office is always clean and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Now, I have always loved Dr. Chowdhury literally since the day of my first appointment back in 2018. She’s very knowledgeable of course but what I love the most is that she’s patient, kind and doesn’t mind my “question after question” lol. I love how she explains things and though she takes her career and patients very seriously, it’s always a pleasant and fun experience. Dr. Chowdhury is truly one of the best OB/GYN I have ever been to and if she would ever for some reason change locations, I’m following!! I wouldn’t be comfortable going anywhere else. Thank you Dr. Chowdhury and to every one there for always being wonderful every time I come in! You all are truly the best!!!

Dr. Chowdhury and her whole office are so incredibly warm and kind. Ive become used to most doctors offices being disengaged and overly clinical and my experience here was that my questions and concerns truly mattered. The services I received were also quick and comfortable. Im so glad I found my new doctor!

Making an appointment was a breeze, and the process was quick and efficient. The staff was incredibly welcoming, creating a comfortable environment. Dr. Chowdhury stood out with her great sense of humor, which made the visit more pleasant. She patiently answered all my questions, addressing any concerns I had. Additionally, the staff went above and beyond to assist with my prescription, even navigating challenges at the CVS Pharmacy. Overall, it was a positive and supportive experience that left me feeling well-cared-for and satisfied.

Best experience ever! Dr. Chowdhury is efficient, kind, and thorough. She really listens to all of your concerns and questions and clearly cares about her patients a lot. Dr. Chowdhury is the kindest, most attentive doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She makes you feel comfortable and takes the time to answer every question you have. Plus, her helper Erika is so sweet and a pleasure to speak with. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Dr. Chowdhury has been my doctor the past 3 years. She is personable and doesnt make any topic of discussion awkward. I have enjoyed her and her staff, they make visiting an OB not as uncomfortable as one might feel.

Terrible experience!!! They said that they cancelled our appointment because my insurance is not paying them quick enough. If you are in this insurance network how come you can cancel appointments.

I love Dr. Chowdhury! She is so welcoming and funny. She put me at ease and thats not always easy to do. I went to her under a very stressful situation and she handled everything so well. Her medical expertise is excellent. Their billing is upfront. The office is small and not overcrowded. It feels very personal. I highly recommend!

I love Dr. Chowdbury so much. She’s so knowledgeable and very detailed oriented when she explains things to me. She also makes me feel very comfortable when I have a personal issue going on with my body. She’s the best Gynecologist that I’ve ever had in my life to be honest. It’s like she gets it and I never ever felt ashamed of voicing my concerns. We moved like a hour away from her office and she’s still my gynecologist. She’s REALLY good :)

Dr. Chowdhury is so great. She is super nice, very knowledgeable, and made me feel completely comfortable when, let’s be honest, these aren’t really the most comfortable type of appointments. I was able to get in quickly and they were flexible with my schedule when I was stuck out of town due to weather. 10/10 would recommend to a friend! The nurse/receptionist was super nice and extremely helpful. Everyone at the office is so great.

Didnt research properly and ended up taking her on as my obgyn.. dont let her laughter and playful banter fool you... its all a scam. All they care about is money and never want to do any work. I was self pay and I paid in full my first week ... consultation and prenatal visit were below par and her assistant did all the work . She always had one thing pr another going on and it wouldnt have been bad but she never showed up at the hospital... was unreachable and was assigned someone new last minute...only ever called after I was discharged to recommend pediatrician they knew and to let me know of my next appointment..which I guess meant more money for them. She never apologized or explained her reason for not being present on delivery day.

Update: Unfortunately, I havent received the results, and its been almost 4 weeks. So, I am updating my review to reflect that since it aligns with several of the other reviews about this office. Sent a message through the portal, so Im hoping their follow-up is better than the result timeliness.The ONLY way I seem to be able to get my results is to schedule an appointment. This is pathetic, and I will move forward with reporting this office

Just had my first visit here and I love it! Dr. Chowdhury is very charismatic and great at explaining, in detail, all my needs. I felt comfortable immediately.Nurse Marissa is fantastic and obviously has a knack for alleviating any anxiety about office visits!

Julia has been so on top of things since my first visit.I am so grateful to have found her in my most difficult pre menopause time this year.Julia responded so quickly when I needed it .Now that I am better, I wanted to say thank you.Of course the details are irrelevant on a post, but I am keeping her as my gynecologist with now 100% trust.

Everyone is ALWAYS so nice and makes me laugh! Dr. Chowdury is hilarious, makes me comfortable, relaxed, and keeps me informed. Shell always have me as a patient.

Very frustrating experience. Been trying to follow up on my first appt. this whole week, to no avail.Will update review if her office reaches out or updates me on my results, which ve been sitting in her office to be read.Online portal is not updated with results. Front desk says shes too busy and hasnt had time to read the results.3 phone calls this week.I give up.I appreciate my primary so much now. She calls me the same days my results come in.

Excellent staff, they’re very welcoming. The nurses are funny and easy to talk to. Dr. Chowdhury is incredible. She has wonderful bedside manner. She lets you know exactly what’s going on and she is very thorough in presenting your options. This is the first doctor that I have felt 100% comfortable with. I visited to switch birth controls. She went through great care to help me weigh decisions and didn’t hold back on any pros and cons of my different options. Will definitely keep her as my primary gynecologist.

Dr. Chowdhury and her staff are so incredibly nice and made me feel so comfortable! Only thing is new patients may not know they need to wear a mask before they get there, so including that in the appointment reminders would be great.

This doctor only allows patients and not their husbands for support.I recently took my wife here.The doctor just demands that the patients should accept whatever they ask them to do and wouldn’t explain things in detail.She maybe knowledgeable but there are better and more knowledgeable and deserving ob/gyn out there!I wouldn’t recommend her.And the A/C doesn’t even cool properly, so be careful to go there esp. during summers!

Dr. Chowdhury is amazing! I loved my experience with her. Very professional , super friendly with a relaxing sense of humor. I left completely at ease and informed. Nobody wants to start their day with a doctor appointment but honestly Im glad I did. She totally set the tone for rest of my day. All my concerns are resolved and stress is gone. I have been going to Center for Women’s Healthcare for three years now and I can’t say enough good things about Dr Julia Chowdhury and her staff! They are always pleasant and accommodating. Dr Chowdhury is very knowledgeable and really takes the time to listen to all your concerns and provide sound medical advice. The patient portal is also easy to use and Dr Chowdhury responds to messages quickly.

Was nervous because I had the same OBGYN my whole life and she was no longer in network. Had a great experience. She was lovely, energetic, warm, and kind.

She was very reassuring through the whole pregnancy despite all my little worries and took excellent care of me throughout. Dr. Chowdhury has a great bedside manner, but unfortunately my husband and I could not look past the extremely unprofessional front office staff. They only accept a handful of insurance plans, and our insurance company indicated that they were in network, but refusing to honor the contract with the insurance company. When I tried to do self-pay, they refused to accept self pay basically because I have insurance. Despite my insurance company trying to call them back in January to get them to be in network (and them refusing), the office staff claims to have never spoken to or heard of my insurance company. If youre looking for high quality customer service, look ELSEWHERE. Dont waste your time. I left this extremely stressful situation without paying a cent and have already scheduled an appointment with a different doctor.

Dr. Chowdhury was fantastic! She made me feel comfortable, heard, and understood. I was able to get a next-day appointment with her which was a plus. Other OBGYNs in the area didnt have availability until a month out. Their office receptionist was also very lovely and accomodating!

Dr. Chowdhury is easily my favorite OBGYN I have been to. She is sweet and very personable and so are her staff. Ive never had to wait more than 10 minutes before being called back to be seen, and I am able to schedule all of my appointments online and communicate additional questions via a patient portal. Her office is located in an easily accessible area on the 1st floor of the West Plano Medical Center and it is always clean and tidy. I have moved, but I still drive 40 minutes to see Dr. Chowdhury.

It was my first visit to Dr. Julia. She is so kind-hearted, welcomed me with a kind gesture, and made me very comfortable. I felt so confident about her that she could diagnose my problem and cure it. Dr. Julia immediately understood my problem and put me on a single tablet medication for certain days.Now after 3 days of medication my problem is about to cure. I will keep on the medication as advised by Dr. Julia.Thank you so much, Doctor..!!

I’ve never had a OBGYN as amazing as Julia Chowdhury. Her bedside manner humane and compassionate, empathetic and supportive. She always makes me feel comfortable and is always so informative. I wish I can take her with me when I move to WA. She is genuinely a wonderful DR. I recommend her to all my gal pals and family.

We all know that going to the gynecologist is not the no ones list of favorite things to do but Dr. Chowdhury makes it as pleasurable as it can be. She is very engaging and easy to talk to. Because she is a woman/mother she understands what we have to deal with. The appointment goes smoothly. No long waits. No going from room to room. Her nurse is great, it was like talking to one of my friends. Unfortunately I cant remember her name. I truly cant say anything bad about the Dr. Chowdhury or her staff.

Great experience as a first timer. I barely waited to be helped when I checked in. The staff and Dr. Julia were all very friendly , helpful and kind. Especially Dr. Julia took her time to explain the possible issues and treatment options. I had a great visit and the doctor’s demeanor has really put me at ease so I highly recommend her.

First time going to a gynecologist and was extremely nervous but Julia was so down to earth and went out of her way to make me feel comfortable. Didnt feel like my health was put on the back burner or that this office is just money hungry, they truly care about your well being. The front desk was also sweet and helpful when I call or go in for appointments. Its also extremely affordable for those without insurance. Ill definitely be going to Julia in the future from here on out.

Dr. Chowdhury was so nice!! She answered my questions with examples and funny jokes. She complimented my tattoos and purse. She congratulated me for graduating and getting a job. The entire appointment was less than 10mins, didn’t feel anything! She felt like a good friend hyping you up lol! The front desk assistant was pretty quiet, didn’t get her name. I was able to call for a same day appointment and it smells so good in the waiting room.

Dr. Julia is an absolute dream. She is kind, knowledgeable, has an amazing sense of humor, and you can tell she truly cares about people. I can’t possibly say enough good things about her!

I came for my first Pap smear and was feeling very nervous but from the introduction with Marissa to meeting with Dr. Chowdhury they made me feel more and more at ease. She was kind, non judgmental even when my anxiety got the best of me and has an energy that completely changes a room. I would recommend her to anyone especially to mom’s with young daughters. I’m not leaving a review because they ask you to on your way out but because how much I appreciate her, the staff and her service.

I had a visit scheduled for tomorrow afternoon, but they called me last minute (just a few minutes ago around 4PM when offices are about to close) to tell me she wont see me bc she wont be in town for the date of my delivery so she wont see me at all. Now I have to find another doctor who will see me last minute since I had to ask off work to even get this appointment. Mind you, there are doctors who take on patients even if they dont see them through to the birth. So unprofessional and greedy (they mentioned billing and payment). Also, I checked her rating on my healthcare plans website...she has a 2.4 rating.

Dr. Chowdhury takes the pain out of going to Dr. office in general. She is friendly, knowledgeable and caring. She takes her time to get to know her patient and treat them with respect and dignity. I recommend her to all my friends and family members. No wait or hassle. Im very happy I have found her.

First I want to say that this is my second visit here with Dr. Julia. Marissa that works the front office is AMAZING. She is very sweet and welcoming. She makes me feel at home each time I come in. I don’t even feel like I’m at a Dr office. Dr. Julia is just as welcoming. She actually takes her time to build rapport and have a real conversation with you. I learned so much about her as a person. My appointments have always been quick and easy. I get all my questions answered and leave her office happy and feeling reassured. Will be a forever patient!

Love her, she is very easy to talk to when it comes to your health and planning for the future. She always in good spirit, no wait on appointments, and affordable. One time she had delivery to do and it was my appointment time and she was running a little late, her staff was nice enough to keep me updated during my wait and even offered me another appointment time if I didnt want to wait at the beginning of my appointment .A doctor like her is hard to find, I moved and I now drive a hour to see her due to I refuse to go to another.

I would highly recommend Dr Julia Chowdhury. She is very Knowledgeable, caring, friendly and professional at the same time. She listens to all our questions & concerns with patience. She is also very proactive in answering queries over emails. They have the patient portal where we can ask questions over email directly to Doctor. The staff is also amazing. we never had to wait for long.We were also overwhelmed by the honestly and professionalism shown by their billing department on post-partum visit when they returned a portion of our paid fee as it was covered by insurance. We were really excited as were not expected the check at all.

I was hesitant about a new doctor but when I say the office staff to the doctor made me feel welcomed the moment I entered the office. Dr. Chowdhury has the kindest disposition, makes you feel comfortable and she explains things in terms that help you understand. I didnt feel like a number or thar I was being rushed. Im glad I made the switch to a new doctor.

Found my new gyno! I was very nervous since it was my first time. The receptionist (I wish I knew her name) she is friendly and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Julia Chowdhury also does the same thing as well! They are professional and take their time to answer any questions. I will be telling my friends and family about this place!

I was notified that I am being charged a “covid no show fee” from this doctor when I have not been here in years, because this doctor is not in network with my insurance. I contacted the doctor and kindly asked her to remove the charge as it must’ve been an error and was told that she will not remove it, and furthermore was accused of making an appointment that I did not make. Now her office harasses me daily to pay a fee that I do not owe. Do not go here. This is just extremely unprofessional and not good practice.

I absolutely love Dr. Julia and her Assistant Marissa. Dr. Julia is very thorough with her exam and the information she provides. She listens to all of my concerns and they have both been very supportive. Im so happy I e found me a Great OGBYN Doctor.

Was looking forward to setting up an appointment but the person who answered the phone had a disgust attitude. Immediately changed my mind.

Dr. Chowdhury has done a great job throughout my wifes pregnancy and during the delivery of our first baby. Her team enforced strict protocols to ensure the safety of our family during covid situations. My wife was in labor for almost 40 hours and throughout this time Dr. Chowdhury had been in constant touch with the nurses and visited my wife every few hours to ensure everything was okay. And Medical City Plano L&D nurses were very helpful too. My wife also received very good postpartum care from her. Overall we are very happy with the care and services provided by Dr. Chowdhury and her team.

I was definitely nervous with a new doctor. Dr.Chowdhury and her assistant made me feel very comfortable. Dr. chowdhury heard my problems and took action immediately. It was a overall great experience. 10/10!!!!!

Dr. Julia C. is a very friendly doctor and takes the extra time to answer questions and provide clarity to her patients. Very down-to-earth person with a great sense of humor! At a recent visit for an in-office diagnostic procedure, Dr. JC made me feel at ease and finished her job very quickly. I hardly felt any discomfort after it was all done. I just feel very glad to have found Dr. Chowdhury!! Some of the front office staff (especially the billing dept.) could improve their service quite a bit.

I mean…..WHERE DO I START!!! from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed. The lady that works the desk is AMAZING! We had a great conversation while she was taking my vitals, her smile, her energy and her professionalism is top notch! Dr. Chowdhury is AAAAMMMAAZZZIIINNNGGG when I tell you that i’ve never had a doctor come in with a smile and excited just to have me as her patient, I mean it. We literally talked and laughed throughout the entire process!! Everything was painless and I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO COMFORTABLE at an OBGYN until now. Dr. Chowdhury is amazing across all fronts!! When I was pregnant I was looking for someone that had weekend availability and I was beyond blessed to end up with her! Through my pregnancy, labor, emergency c-section and a few other things I’ve seen her for since. She even visited my son when he was in the NICU which shows she truly cares about her patients and their family. Y’all she is incredible! Her bedside manor, the office staff, her professionalism is also very personable... it’s the entire package! They were there for me through it all and I’ll never go anywhere else. I don’t know where to start..... I was recommended by a family member. However when I found out I was pregnant I knew I needed to go ahead and start looking for an OB/GYN. I never knew that Julia was the most kindest, loving, caring OB/GYN ever. She took care of me from meaning of pregnancy and even after postpartum. Her staff is amazing, loving, and caring and they’re always upfront about everything. I cannot thank her enough she made me feel so comfortable and I did not have any issues. I had a low risk pregnancy and dr Chowdhury managed it so well. There is not a lot of waiting time and the delivery experience I had with her was amazing. She did not rush me but allowed my body to do its own work. Her calm and collected attitude made my first experience with pregnancy memorable . I’m grateful for her and her staff.

Just went for my yearly. Very sweet receptionist. And Dr. Chowdhury was very nice. She answered all of my questions and concerns. She has an excellent bedside manner. Great sense of humor, and very personable. Will definitely keep seeing her.

Dr. Chowdhury has the absolute best table side manner to accompany her expertise. Dr. Chowdhury is efficient and knowledgeable. She true cares for her patients and that shines through with every visit. Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly; I can’t recommend her more.

I highly recommend Dr.Julia C. It was the best service that I could imagine. All my pregnancy I was very calm due the doctor. She is super professional and very friendly. All the way (and especially on the due date) I felt my self entirely in the hands of great specialist. Also the visiting of office was very convenient - no problems with appointments at all.

Dr. Chowdhury takes the time to listen and really cares about her patients. Making an appointment online is super easy and convenient. The girl at the front desk is also helpful and very nice.

I only gave one star because it was required, I DO NOT recommend this Dr to anyone especially if youre a woman of color. First and foremost Ive never received a wellness exam that didnt include a pap smear when I brought it to her attention she advised me she examined my cervix so there was no need to do the pap smear, but you didnt even use the speculum? Her assistant then chimed in and said a pap smear is only required every 3 years, which I then had to ask him if he was a Dr. There was never a problem refilling my prescription online when requested or over the phone but all of a sudden I was told I need to be examined prior to the medication I know I need to be reissued to me. I believe she only wanted to examine me so she can file a claim through my insurance and receive a payment for doing absolutely nothing. Save yourself and do your due diligence in researching someone who is reputable and has a diverse clientele. This is not the first time Ive had an issue with her, Ive gone for appointments where Im the only one still sitting waiting to be seen when other people just come and go, her exams are not done correctly if she has other people to see or if its close to closing time i.e: my wellness exam. This would be my last issue as I am taking myself and my insurance to better places.Also Dr. Chowdhury please do a better job of educating your staff, there is no reason someone should be speaking or answering questions on your behalf when youre standing right there, especially when THEIR NOT A DOCTOR OR HAVE ANY CREDENTIALS THAT WOULD CONSIDER THEM EVEN DOCTOR ADJACENT. #FIXITJESUS

I love Dr. Chowdhury but I don’t love her office staff. I’m sure I looked horrible when I went in having had bad allergies and wasn’t wearing makeup, the girl who took my blood pressure thought it appropriate to mention she thought I was wasted. Then proceeded to ask me 4 times if there was anything I needed to share with her. Seriously?! Talk about unprofessional.

Hi,I called Dr. Julia Choudhurys office for a new patient appointment on 12/13/2017 and I got an appointment for Saturday 12/16/2017 at 2:00 PM. today my husband called for some information and one of your manager whos accent was of Indian informed us that the appointment is not confirmed and he need to get my insurance information which I already provided yesterday.He disconnected the call and then my husband called the doctors office again and this time he started saying that my husband is bugging him.I am 19 weeks of pregnancy and wanted a 2nd opinion and if needed I could go for the delivery with Dr Julia Choudhury. but this is the way your office staffs are behaving? He gave us the condition that my husband should call him and say sorry, otherwise he will cancel the appointment. He informed me that it is not India where as my husband is in USA for more than 5 years.Is this the way you guys are dealing with the patient? is this professionalism?

Dr Julia is good I guess, but the staff is one of the worst, dont know how to speak english and were very rude. I would suggest looking elsewhere. The only reason why I went to her was she might have experience catering to pregnant woman of asian descent. But clearly, I was for a shock, the doctor herself was so-so, but my biggest problem was with her staff, specially the guy who doesnt understand english and talks nonsense. Please do understand to treat your customers/patients well. I would recommend not to chose her based on our experience.We moved from Dallas to Kansas City and had to get the money refunded from the doctors office. And the staff had asked us to fill in the paper work and then said, they lost it so we had to do it all over again if we needed the money back. It took us close to 5 months to get the money back and I had a horrible experience with the staff. Just horrible. They did not even inform that they still had my money until I called them to ask about it.

Very unprofessional doctor and staff. Young first time mother looking to have questions answered and gain knowledge of what should be expected. Dr spent less than 15 minutes with her and did not perform an exam of any kind. Charged $115 up front even with proof of insurance. Office staff made it clear they do not take the steps to bill the insurance company per usual procedure with the majority of doctors offices. Terrible experience would never recommend.

Great Ob-Gyn in the Plano/Dallas area! I had my second baby delivered through her (Planned C section) and Dr.Chowdhury was extremely supportive and caring!She was very patient and listened to every little concern we had throughout..the front office lady Ms.Marissa is very sweet too..recommend dr.Chowdhury without a second thought!

Please do not waste your time going to see this Dr. I had major health concerns and Dr. Chowdhury discounted every issue I brought up and said everyone else was having the same issue - even went on to blame COVID and our change in lifestyle over the last few months!!?? I could not believe what I was hearing and that she had the audacity to blame COVID for numerous issues I was truly concerned about. This lady doesnt even know me or what I have been through so how could she blame it on the pandemic? She barely gave me a breast exam and didnt even bother to schedule or recommend a mammogram given my age. She was supposed to call in a prescription for me and never did. Her front office receptionist called to give me my lab results which she had NO business doing so given that shes not even a nurse. This is so unprofessional and this doctor should have her license revoked. She is NOT a good doctor AT ALL. I just moved to this city and now have to find someone else who will actually hear me out. Steer clear from this office!

Don’t bother making an appointment here. They called to inform me that my appointment was being cancelled since my insurance wouldn’t cover the exam. They didn’t bother to inform me of how much the visit would have been out of pocket . I know it’s a busy office but the front office staff needs to step it up. Being curteous is number one when running an office, I would know I run a office as well!! And this team definitely does not have it.

Dr Julia is very attentive and great but the Man who handled the call when I needed to be seen for Irregular bleeding stated that my insurance did not paid him enough so he cannot schedule me for any appointment. I would understand if my Insurance was Out of Network but it is not. I checked my Insurance before scheduling an appointment.I work myself at a Medical office and I am fully aware the Insurance guidelines. As for my Insurance did cover the Annual GYN exam and I did got my refills on my Birth Control Pills and paid $50 co pay for my visit and I did checked that my Insurance did paid as for my visit To Dr Chowdhury. I had to find another GYN to follow up with my health condition. Very Unprofessional way to handle business when dealing with patients health issues.

Dr.Chowdhury is one of the best doctor in and around DFW area. We recently had our baby delivered by the doctor and it was a delightful experience to us . Our journey through out the pregnancy period was something equivalent to visiting a family and it was NEVER a doctor and patient experience. I would recommend and request everyone to visit Dr.Chowdhury incase if you have someone in your family as expectant Moms .We are happy and proud to say that Dr.Chowdhury is the best OB/GYN

Terrible front desk staff ! Was turned away due to something they “thought” was gonna happen with insurance. When I left their office I called insurance and was actually covered for the appointment. Thanks the front office of dr Julia for wasting my time and gas . Maybe educate your front office first before they give out wrong information. Will not recommend this place to any women. You will not feel taken care of when you first walk into the door.

They lied to me about Mirena being covered under my insurance.I paid a new patient fee and was told that it all covered initially. She even looked at her computer to confirm and make sure.They called next week and said that it wasnt covered under Cigna because they are a privately owned and would have to get my insurance to order the thing.Dr. Chowdhury is nice but she is not the doctor for me.

I Really wanted to like Dr Chowdhury, she and her staff were always nice but I saw her for the same issue about a half dozen times and she still wasn’t able to diagnose or help in any way, she also inserted my IUD incorrectly causing me to have to have to have surgery to remove it. I was extremely disappointed with the fact that she told me she couldn’t help and sent me on my way dispute the fact another doctor diagnosed me on the first visit

Worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office...i paid $130 to talk to Julia for 10 minutes at my FIRST pregnancy check up. The most unprofessional staff I have ever dealt with. They laughed at my wife on the phone and were extremely condescending. If you have any other option use them because they are rude, short and extremely condescending to PREGNANT women. The MA got on the phone with me after her talking down to my wife and then proceeded to tell me I am lying regarding my wifes past medical history and challenged me to bring medical records in hand if we wanted to be a patient. Very unprofessional staff. They only care about the money nothing else at all. They are saying it not fare for the doctor to not bill my insurance for the whole pregnancy, and I have to make 500$ a deposit before even start seeing the doctor! Basically they dont care at all about you they only care about the money and how they make sure that they will have the money.

So unprofessional I paid 150 for check up and all they did is pregnant test for 150 they wasted my time and money plus this people have attitude also they told me to see different ob because they said I’m a medicaid.But when I talk to front desk lady they said 150 for full check up. But all they did was pt and they want me to go to different lab to draw blood.
