I thought long and hard about this for a while. But as my due date gets closer I get more emotional, I JUST can’t get over what happened to me here. I want people to know what happened to me and how I was treated after being a patient here for years!!!!I am beyond devastated and appalled by the experience I had with Dr.Marquette. Back in the spring, when I was 12 weeks pregnant, I tried to schedule an appointment and was met with a shocking refusal for reasons I still dont understand. The receptionist was incredibly nasty and dismissive. I have reasons to believe it was due to my age and my pregnancy being high risk.Feeling desperate and unheard, I wrote a review about my experience. Dr.Marquette called me frantically, begging me to take it down and promised he would call me to set up an appointment as soon as he got back to the office. He never did.A week later, my worst nightmare came true. I was rushed to the hospital, fighting for my life due to a miscarriage. I had to undergo emergency surgery to stop the bleeding. I firmly believe that if Dr.Marquette had seen me, this tragedy could have been prevented.To add insult to injury, the only follow-up I received was a call about a $40 bill. This OBGYN does not care about his patients well-being; he only cares about his image in the community. I wouldnt wish this experience on anyone. Please, for the sake of your health and your babys health, stay away from this practice. I’ve had all records transferred to the university of Florida. They’re amazing!

I couldnt have asked for a better doctor than Dr. Marquette and Brandi. His office is truly amazing. His staff is super friendly and just all around great. Everyone is supportive through your decision and ups and downs throughout my entire pregnancy and postpartum. I never left his office with unanswered questions. Dr. Marquette and Brandi went above and beyond for my and my daughters well-being and safety. I would not trust anyone else. I highly recommend his office.

Dr Marquette, Brandi and their entire office staff made my pregnancy such a great experience. From the very beginning, everyone made me feel so welcome and cared for! As a first time mom, there were some hiccups in my pregnancy like a two vessel cord and needing iron infusions which required assistance from outside providers as well. Dr Marquette and Brandi were always in the loop with my care with the other providers and on top of checking with me to ensure everything was going well. At delivery, my daughter decided to scare my husband and I, as we lost her heart beat a few times, almost requiring a c-section. Brandi was so compassionate and caring in these moments, and ensured that I felt heard and cared for, explaining everything they were doing every step of the way. I never had any doubts that myself and my daughter were in great hands. I remember telling Brandi several times, Do whatever you need to do, I trust you - and thats the truth! She was so reassuring as my daughter came out wrapped in her umbilical cord several times, reassuring me she was in the best hands as Brandi took care of me after the delivery. She explained everything each step of the way and reassured me as we had to deviate from my birth plan (I say that loosely, my ultimate birth plan was for both my daugher and I to be safe) but she was clear in letting me know what they were doing and why it was necessary. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for care - as you will be in good hands every step of the way.Thank you Brandi for your care and quick actions while delivering our daughter!

Dr. Marquette recently performed my hysterectomy. Leading up to the procedure, he was very thorough in answering my questions and explaining exactly what was going to happen. His compassion and encouragement get an A plus. Brandi and his office staff are professional, pleasant, and always helpful. The nurses during my stay at Advent also spoke highly of him. I highly recommend Dr. Marquette whether you are in your childbearing years, or like me, beyond them. You are in great hands!Margie -

Highly recommend Dr. Marquette. Professional, ethical, kind, and very engaged with his patients. Listens addresses issues at hand. I came in with an issue multiple other doctors both OB/GYN and general practitioners were not able to help resolve or even disgnose. Dr. Marquette diagnosed me immediately and was able to resolve and repair my problem. He and his staff made me feel welcomed. They are caring and made me feel that my concerns became theirs as well. Would give them 10 stars if it was an option!

I had the best pregnancy experience with Dr. Marquette! Visiting his office is always a pleasure. Everyone who works there is kind, friendly and supportive. I had a C-section and Dr. Marquette did an excellent job. I barely even have a scar. I will definitely be under his care for any future babies! (:

Dr Marquette was the best OB I could’ve asked for. Throughout my entire pregnancy he was patient, caring, and informative. He was able to calm me if I ever became stressed or worried about pregnancy or labor. While in labor his demeanor was amazing, kept me calm and relaxed which was exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking!!

Both of my son’s were delivered by the staff of Dr, Marquette and I had an amazing experience. Everyone at the office was always so friendly and welcoming, anytime I had a concern I would call them and they would always be available and willing to see me last minute to ensure that my worries were never looked down upon. Just had my second baby two weeks ago. Dr Marquette and his office staff are absolutely amazing. Brandy delivered my baby and it could not have gone better. The care I received all throughout my pregnancy was second to none. I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr Marquette and his staff for helping me throughout my entire pregnancy.

I absolutely loved Dr Marquette and his staff! I kept forgetting to leave a review here. I had my son back in April 2023 but it was such a great experience the entire 9 months and delivery was great. I refer all of my pregnant friends or wanting to be parents to him all the time.

Love love love ! My experience with dr marquette and his staff was beyond amazing . Throughout my entire pregnancy they were very thorough and so nice. I am 3 weeks postpartum now with my beautiful and healthy baby girl she came via repeat c section and I was so impressed at how fast dr Marquette performed the surgery it was less than 30 minutes from start to finish. My incision is already healed and I was also so impressed at how he managed to do all of that so quick and while teaching the med students! After surgery, He came to see me in my room to check up on everything just overall very professional and I’m very happy with how it all turned out. 10/10 recommend!

Dr. Marquette has been amazing my entire pregnancy. He always answers all of my questions as a first time mom and never rushes us out the door. His staff is always so welcoming and personable, even remembering patient names (without a chart) after a few visits. I would recommend his office to anyone, he and his staff have made me feel more than comfortable! So grateful I chose his office for my first pregnancy.

Dr. Marquette was the doctor on staff when I went in after going into labor. I was scheduled for a VBAC. However with the state in which my labor was going it was made very clear that a vbac would have considerable risks to my baby girl and that despite not wanting another c-section, it was the better option and the safest.Dr. Marquette is very knowledgeable and caring. I and my husband couldn’t be more pleased with his care and attention. He is a wonderful Doctor. Thank you again Dr. Marquette.

Can’t schedule an appointment because they allow their receptionist and office manager (not medical professionals) determine whether or not I should be seen when the doctor delivered my last two babies and those individuals are NOT medical professionals!Terrible practice!

The best doctor ever, treats patients like every doctor should. Nurses are so sweet and understanding. I had a C-section done by Dr. Marquette, 2 weeks post-op and Im doing great. I highly recommend for OB care!!

Wow!! Dr. Marquette and his staff are absolutely amazing! They honestly care about you and babys health. My pregnancy and c section went so smoothly. Everyone that works there take pride in what they do so that tells me Dr. Marquette takes good care of them as well. He also tied my tubes he did not try to talk me out of it or talk me into it. It was strictly my decision and I have no regrets. Im ready to enjoy my fiftys with no kids🙂

My experience with Dr. Marquette and the staff at his practice was nothing short of amazing. Dr. Marquette and Brandy are very professional, knowledgeable, and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. I appreciate the fact that an induction was never forced onto me and they were willing to let my body to go into labor naturally on its own. Unfortunately, Dr. Marquette was on vacation when I went into labor. My baby was stuck in my birth canal and Brandy thought that I was going to need an emergency C, so Dr. Delcharo actually delivered my baby. Great experience overall. Dr. Marquette was absolutely amazing!! I had to have a cerclage placed at the begging of my pregnancy, which he preformed wonderfully. & he also took al the precautions to make sure I delivered a healthy baby. This was my first pregnancy & he made sure it went successful. I will forever be grateful for him! I will be back for my next pregnancy!!One of the nurses there, Mandy, was also absolutely amazing! She was my all time favorite. She was so nice, thoughtful and sweet. She went out of her way to make sure I was okay mentally and physically. She always tells me every time I’m there “I’m here if you need me” and I know she is!

Where do I Start? The past 2 weeks have been very scary and heartbreaking for me. I found out I was pregnant and then a week later found out it was a ectopic pregnancy. Dr.marquette seen me as soon as possible, literally the same day I found out it was ectopic. I had went to the e.r and he told them to send me to his office. Explained everything very clearly to me. He is a very hands on doctor. They administered methotrexate, unfortunately for me that didnt work and I ended up back at the e.r and had to have surgery. Dr.marquette is a great surgeon!! Where he cut me open and sutured me back up is perfect! He should have gave me a tummy tuck while he was working on me lol. He came and saw me every day that I was in the hospital, he listens to your concerns and questions. He is not like alot of other doctors that rush you out the hospital. Makes you feel like your in good hands. As I was. Not to mention the nurses at the hospital that worked side by side with him are amazing nurses as well. They all made my unfortunate situation easier to cope with. Dr.marquette has a forever patient with me. I will definitely be going back to this office for future needs.

Dr. Marquette and his staff in all areas are very proficient always personally calling you to remind you of upcoming appointments etc. Dr. Marquette himself is very professional staying on task to complete his day in a timely manner. Having two children and a surgery through his office has always been a smooth process as his office staff is well trained in procedures with insurance and paper processing eliminating the panic of unexpected bills/payments.Thank you to Dr Marquette, nurses and office staff! I have been a patient of Dr Marquette’s for 21 years as has my entire family. He and his staff are beyond amazing. They are always so kind and comforting. Dr Marquette is hands down the best Dr in this town and my only wish is he was primary care as well. I trust him most when it comes to mine and my families care. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a trusted OB-GYN!

After hearing about how great my best friends experience was, I decided to give Dr Marquettes office a try so I didnt have to drive to Gainesville for my OB care. Honestly, I am BEYOND glad I did. From the compassionate staff in the front working with my insurance changes last minute prior to my appointment, to them squeezing me in during my lunch break for my every appointment. Dr Marquette and Brandi answered every question I had, spend time reassuring my every worry was resolved, and taking the time to help me make all the correct decisions necessary. When it came time to delivering Brandi was so patient and caring, making sure I was comfortable and my baby was safely brought into this world. They even got me in when I was experiencing issues and pain with breastfeeding after I had my baby and took care of me!! I am thankful I took the leap of faith in Dr Marquette and his office staff and chose them for my OB care!!

Dr. Marquette has been my doctor for many, many years. Not only is he extremely intelligent and knowledgeable, he is caring, kind and compassionate. I was considered advanced maternal age when I was pregnant and Dr. Marquette went well above and beyond any expectations that I had. He still does. I trust him and I know that he truly cares for each and every one of his patients.

Dr Marquette was my doctor for both of my pregnancy. He was amazing and very knowledgeable about what hes doing. I was very thankful I had him as my doctor. He was very concerned about me and my baby because I was a high risk pregnancy. He was on top of everything. All the staff were wonderful and very respectful. I always feel welcome every time I go to the office. Judy ultrasound tech was so kind and caring ...I love the midwives Tesha is great. Dr Marquette is the best doctor! I’ve had two babies under his care and had to have c-sections for both. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He’s the only doctor I’ve ever been to who actually cares and he goes above and beyond to make sure his patients are ok. The office staff and nurses are also amazing! They’re so friendly and helpful and they’re very quick to get back to you if you have questions or need something.

Dr Marquette is absolutely amazing!! I had some issues with my 2nd child and had to be rushed in for an emergency c-section. My husband and I were both scared however that quickly faded with Dr Marquettes reassuring words. He even went above an beyond making sure my scar was hidden in my tattoo. Later when he came to check on me he held my son for some amazing pictures. Also he allowed my husband to take pictures during my c-section which also produced some great pictures. I will NEVER go anywhere else. 🥰 Love Love Love

UPDATING this review to one star thought I wouldn’t even give that. I found that my medical records were falsified to cover up that a student was permitted to administer my epidural without consent. My provider should have not let this happened and also refused to amend my medical records even though they knew exactly what happened. The patient should be the number one priority and this is clearly not the case in this providers office.________Let me start off by saying the office staff here is amazing and I always felt like family coming here. Brandi and Jess are some of the most kind and gentle hearted people I have met and made getting through the hard times a little easier. Jess even voluntarily came in on the weekend to care for my wound that needed daily cleaning. Doctor Marquette is a fantastic doctor and great at what he does but the bedside manner is lacking. All office visits were great but when it really counted, in the hospital ready to have my first baby, the communication was horrible and I felt bullied at times being pressured into things I wasn’t ready for (with little to no explanation) and not being given options. Even my husband and father thought it to be a little unprofessional. Nothing went the way I wanted it to and most of that was due to my body just not working properly but the whole experience could have been much better if things were explained and options were given. I regret not better advocating for myself but with my next child I hope that my doctor knows what I want and I can trust they will have my back.I did end up with a c-section and the scar is small and low, healing very nicely now.My epidural was given incorrectly by a student without my permission and I still am unsure if my provider knew that it was a student before it was administered. I wasn’t told until after the fact when I was leaking spinal fluid. I feel my provider could have prevented that from happening.After my traumatic birth I struggled for a while to understand everything and fight off depression. Many conversations with doctors and I even called another office just to get their thoughts. I didn’t plan on changing providers but the fact that a new office knew I was struggling and called to check up on me and my provider did not was what solidified my choice to make a change.One of my biggest complaints outside of my personal care is that this office does not have an answering service. People get sick on weekends too and when I started passing tissue on a Saturday 6 weeks postpartum my only answer was “go to the hospital” which is not a great option with a nursing newborn baby. An answering service would have also been helpful when my water broke at 3am but labor didn’t start and I didn’t know what to do. Thankfully my incision complications happened on a week day because I don’t know what I would have done with a leaking wound all weekend.Over all I can’t say there are any hard feelings and I am thankful to have had a skilled doctor preform my surgery but I do believe surgery could have been avoided. Either way, surgery or no surgery, skill and knowledge without compassion and communication in the delivery room just will not work for me in the future.

From the front of the office to the very back, each and every staff member has well over exceeded my expectations. No matter how busy they are, you are greeted with a smile and professionalism that goes unmatched. Dr. Marquette is extremely knowledgeable on every aspect of a woman’s healthcare needs. During my physical he felt something that just wasn’t right. He immediately got me in for an ultrasound, followed by bloodwork and then followed up with a biopsy. Was right back in 5 days later to receive my results. I was given every option of treatment/care with no pressure. I was also given every detail on each option. I left feeling extremely comfortable as well as educated on my health. I thank God for each and every team member in this office. Especially Dr. Marquette and Jessica. They sure know how to make the journey as easy as possible. God Bless this team.

Ive been seeing Dr. Marquette for over 16 years. He has seen me throughout both of my pregnancies & has done a wonderful job. I really appreciate the time that he spends to answer my questions & his staff has always been so professional and nice.

Two weeks ago I had a successful hysterectomy performed by Dr. Raymond Marquette. He did everything in his power to make me comfortable and was very gentle when explaining to me the need for this procedure due to my condition. I am so grateful that it went well and I will no longer experience the pain I constantly had experienced due to my condition. The incision looks very nice and is healing well. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Marquette. He is very professional, caring and does what he can to explain anything and everything.Thank you for doing a great job. May God continue to guide you as you help others.I would like to add that his office staff and nurses are amazing people. Always very kind and helpful as well. ❤️

I had the opportunity to shadow Dr. Marquette at his office and learned so much! Dr. Marquette has a strong passion for what he does and makes his patients feel comfortable with asking ANY questions. I would highly recommend him 100/10. His staff is also SUPER sweet!

Doctor Marquette and all his staff are amazing , he is a very professional and caring doctor always makes sure anything that needs to get done makes mom and baby happy ... he delivered my first son that is now 2 weeks old and was a C section delivery. The incision was amazing you cant barely see it after 2 weeks it healed perfect he did an awesome job receiving my healthy litte boy , cant say enough good things about this Doctor and his staff . Highly recommended they make u feel comfortable happy and secure the whole pregnancy process.

I only have the best things to say about Dr. Marquette’s office. Dr. Marquette, Brandy & Jessica have gone above and beyond for me. I suffered recurrent miscarriages and infertility & they helped me through those emotionally and physically! They helped me get pregnant & now I have my healthy miracle baby who was delivered by Dr. Marquette. They’re so patient and understanding. Anytime I’ve called or had a list of questions the front desk has gotten my question answered and I’ve never been made to feel like I’m overreacting to any of my worries I had during my pregnancy. Going to the doctors can be nerve wracking and you can get dismissed easily but at Dr. Marquette’s I’ve always felt like they’ve taken any concern I’ve had seriously and Brandy esp. always made my feelings feel valid. Also, they have the most wonderful ultrasound tech there I think I’ve ever encountered! She makes it super special! I would highly recommend them & I will never go anywhere else!

Dr Raymond Marquette, was my OBGYN back in 2015. Moving to Ocala it was difficult to find a hospital that does OB/GYN care at the facility, here you had to be seen at the doc office throughout the pregnancy. Upon looking for Doctors I came across Dr Marquette and what a great doctor he is I was so happy to have had him for my doctor. He cared so much about his patients and support them a lot during the pregnancy. The office staff was also very very amazing. I had complications after the birth of my baby no fault to the Doc and his team, but what Doctor Marquette did for me was amazing!!!!! He stayed at the hospital with me ensuring that I was ok before he left, he also came in to visit me after I moved to my room which by the way was his off day, the kindness and professionalism Dr Marquette showed me during the most difficult time of my life was truly amazing. He saved my life and treated me like family. I recommend Dr. Raymond Marquette to everyone for the OB care.

So I scheduled my new pt appointment. The front office staff are great but it went down hill after that. I waited 58 minutes for my appointment (sitting in the chair with nothing on) and I could hear the nursing staff mention the fact I had been waiting to the nurse practitioner and I heard her say “she can wait”. Once she finally decides to come in she didn’t apologize and was rude. After that I was having issues and called the office to make an appointment .. I waited three days before I had to call them and they told me to go to an urgent care.. then call them back a day after that only to have them tell me I couldn’t be seen by them and had to go to a specialist .. what’s the point of a doctor ? I initially wanted to come here because I heard great things about the doctor (never met him) but the other issues ruined it for me …be better

Nothing but a great experience from the office and Dr. Marquette. He delivered our second baby boy on Friday and he very professional and helping to my wife. Will definitely be coming back to him. The office staff was very kind to us even when we had to make time changes to our appointments. I highly recommend this office for first time pregnancy’s as they will make you feel welcomed. 5 STARS!!!

Dr.Marquette is hands down the best OB doc in all of Florida! I’ve had two amazing boys delivered by Dr.Marquette. He and his team have been great and he has been the best doc a husband could ask for!

Dr. Marquette delivered both of my boys and I couldnt have asked for a better doctor! My first child was breached and I was so nervous about a c-section, but Dr. Marquette took the time out each and every time to answer all of my questions and help guide me in the right direction for my safety and my sons. I ended up going into labor early and was terrified that he wouldnt be able to deliver my son as it was fathers day, and 5am at that! He was at the hospital and never once made me feel like a problem or burden. Took time away from his family on Fathers day to reassure me and my husband and helped us thru an amazing yet honestly terrifying experience! He and his staff were so reassuring that the fear of surgery became minimal and my husband and I were involved in the communication and knowledge of every step of our sons delivery. There are no words for how much appreciation we have for him!Years later a second child wasnt coming so easily. Lots of complications and miscarriages followed and never once did he make me feel like I was asking too many questions or being a bother. His staff were always supportive as well. He did so much to help us finally get pregnant and stay pregnant with our 2nd son! He could have easily sent me to another MD somewhere else but instead helped us become a family of 4!So 2 healthy boys later and even my own personal health issues, I would NEVER recommend another doctor. Life changing! Referred to Dr Marquette for hormones. He figured I was not absorbing my oral pills. He put me in hormone pellets. I feel amazing! Younger with more energy. I highly recommend this office. Staff treats you like family!

Dr. Marquette and his staff were amazing throughout my pregnancy and recent delivery. Everyone was kind and compassionate in delivering care in the office and in the delivery room.

I normally dont post anything public but with so many negative comments I felt I had to. I have been seeing Dr. Marquette for 19 years. He delivered my last child when he was just beginning his practice. He has been the best doctor I go to and I feel I can discuss anything with him and he listens and tries to resolve any issue. As far as wait times in the lobby, you wait at any doctors office but he is a doctor that is called out for emergencies on a regular basis. Everybody should know this. I was one of those emergencies once so I have a very tolerant attitude toward the wait. As for the staff, that changes over the years so if there is someone rude, they may not be there next year. I have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

I love Dr. Marquette he did my cs very well. Delivered my baby safely. All his staff are very friendly. Highly recommend them.

Worst ,”DR.” Ever! He Never took my daughters complaints Seriously! I understand that she was only 16, but he was Rude & Vulgar while she was giving birth at 24 weeks. He Actually asked these 2 Young “Adults “, if they were Using, “Toys”, to cause her to give Birth to my 1st Grandson, Blaze, early. He Doesn’t Care about Women on Medicaid. He should Not be dealing with any woman having a Baby, Ever! He Disgusts Me. He could have easily realized from the ultrasound & her complaints, that she needed a stitch in her Uterus, to Protect My Grandson. His comments while my daughter had to give birth to him, as he Died in my arms, because My Daughter was in Shock, was Disgusting.

Amazing doctor. Delivered both of my sons. Dr. Marquette took great care of my wife during both of her c-sections and made sure we both felt comfortable, kept us informed through every step, and made sure my wife and children were taken care of. Couldn’t have asked for a better doctor and highly recommend him.

Excellent care from Dr. Marquette and Brandi, CNM. I received the best care during my prenatal and now through my post natal…all the staff at the clinic are so friendly.

Brandi was the sweetest! As soon as she walked in the room she explained everything to me and told me step by step what she was going to be doing. Definitely recommend her for your gynecology needs!

Stay away from Dr. Marquettes office. After establishing with his office for pregnancy care his office staff repeatedly turned me away for the last three months until I got my insurance worked out now that my insurance is sorted out he refuses to see me because Im too far along. Even though I informed him no other doctor in town will see me due to how far along I am. I am not the first person with an issue with him and would advise to stay away. Neither he nor his office staff care about their patients.

I called to make a new patient appointment and it was such an uncomfortable experience (I felt bad for calling because I felt like the woman did not want to help me). I’m not sure if the person was having a bad day. But I was being nice! They were not familiar with my insurance. I looked online and the provider was covered. They wanted me to call the insurance. So I called the insurance and they confirmed the provider was covered. I called back and a nice lady answered the phone. Took my information down and put me back on hold. Then the lady I spoke to the first time got back on the phone. Asked me what the appointment was for. I told her I have pcos and I’m trying to lose weight. She told me weight loss wasn’t covered and told me the prices then asked if I wanted to make an appointment for the pcos…. Which I was going to do but her attitude was so awful that I did not even want to go in the office! So I told her I was going to look around. Did she do her job…. Yes. But she did it with a bad attitude and acted like she didn’t want to do it. Like I was a bother to her. I’m sure the md is great… but after that experience I can’t do it. I typically don’t leave reviews, but that whole experience just caught me off guard. To the point that I wanted to apologize to her for having to do her job and help me.

The way the office treated me in front of other patients and staff members, embarassed me to my core. Coming in at 1PM to be seen at 4PM. Discussing my medical and billing information in the waiting room in front of other staff and patients, questioning why I couldnt afford their services. Making it hard to discharge made it feel like theyre forcing me to accept this type of treatment and care. Denying my right to receive my discharge paperwork until I found another provider, which wendy made clear wouldnt be easy due to my financial standing.I have not witness any other patient treated this way as they so easily violated my PHI & hippa. I was discriminated against unlawfully based on my finances, marital status, age, race and services were not equal in quality, quantity or manner based on these facts.I was not handled with care as a high risk pregnant woman disclosing hardship and depression, I was treated unjust and unfairly and manipulated to receive bad care. Thank you Wendy. I would not recommend this office to my worst enemy. I found out I was pregnant just a few weeks ago and I would not trust your office to care, your inept to respecting the law and professional decency.I wish you or family members are never treated this way. Well no worries the insurance claims and credit card statements have a record of me being your patient.

Dr Marquette has good old fashioned manners and he is a wealth of knowledge and experience. I am surprised at the comments about a rude staff - everyone there was friendly, attentitive and caring. They were very busy, which is a sign of a reputable Dr. And as busy as they were, the Dr spent almost an hour with me as it was my first visit. I give him 5 stars!

Dr. Marquette delivered my 1st baby (daughter) in March 2018 and it could not have gone better. I would recommend him 10/10He will be delivering my next in March 2019 and I can find comfort in the fact he will be doing it!

Dr. Marquette has delivered both of my children via cesarian section. I was not a candidate for natural childbirth or a v-back. I have had previous surgeries on my uterus for other complications. With every visit I had with him, he made me feel comfortable, secure and definitely in good hands. He did my first c-section, as scared as I was not only to become a Mother, but to have a major surgery, and he did an amazing job. My scar healed beautifully and he also minimized the scar I already had there. With my second one....there were minor complications with existing scar tissue, but again....the surgery was a success and my scar is even smaller!!! His staff is friendly and understanding. The office is clean. I am always comfortable in his care!The only complaint that I have is that he agreed with my husband-while Im on the operating table-about having more babies! LOL!!! I told him that I wanted a tubal and my husband and he were in agreement that Im not too old to have more! So now my hubby uses that against me when discussing more kids! Dr. Marquette said it was okay, uuuugh, Men! :D

One star is wayyy to much for this office. So if you have a problem don’t expect them to care. These people literally sent me a letter signed by dr Marquette which mind you I had never met while being pregnant my whole almost five months pregnant there. So the letter reads doctor Marquette doesn’t wish to attend me anymore and they will kindly assist me to send my docs to another office. Mind you it’s open enrollment and I am almost five months pregnant where they knew it would be almost impossible to find another doctor this far along in Ocala. Basically I had hemrroids due to not having a bowel movement and I called them begging to please send me a perscription because over the counters weren’t working. They first told me there didn’t exist a perscription and than persude to tell me to go to a hospital knowing I can barely even sit risking me to possibly get Covid in a full blown hospital. I waited five hours in a hospital in pain for them to give me what I initially asked my doctors to give me a perscription. I was suppose to have an appointment for an ultrasound and the day before is when I received this certified letter. This is called patient abandonment but not only are they rude they are unprofessional and they don’t know what there doing because what I was asking for was a perscription for relief. I had to call them to understand why I got this letter cause I couldn’t comprehend why. The whole front office needs to get fired and for the lady who told me I was non compliant that’s not something you tell a client first of all this isn’t a job interview. And secondly I never even called the office back after u guys didn’t want to help me. And based on your older reviews I see this is something you guys like to do to patients. This has already been a ruff pregnancy for me. But the medical board deserves to know what you guys are doing and how I never even spoke to a nurse. I was placed on hold and was told a nurse is sending you guys to give me a message. The only person in that front office who was ever nice or helpful is the women at the entrance but the rest of that office needs to get fired.

I have three healthy, happy, and growing kiddos as a result of Dr. Marquettes guidance and professional knowledge. Making the decision on who to trust with the birth of your new born is a huge undertaking and I can say that I made the BEST decision in choosing Dr. Marquette and his staff. Thank you!

My husband and I really like Dr. Marquette. The office staff is great. They are every friendly, and always has a smile on their faces when you enter the building. They are all very helpful. We would highly recommend him and this office for your OB/GYN.

Best doctor i have ever had he delivered all 3 of my children!!! I started seeing him shortly after my miscarriage he was very comforting i had explained to him that 3 other doctors told me if i was to even ever get pregnant i would not be able to carry. so went i found out i was pregnant he assured me everything would be OK he saw me twice a week through out my entire 1st pregnancy! now thats what you call service he truly cares about each person. yes there is sometimes a wait but hello he does deliver babies which come day and night, i rather wait in a waiting room at his office then waiting in the labor room. As for the radiologist i loved her she was very sweet and loves what she does. The staff is wonderful i wasnt found of his mid wife he had but she is no longer there!

With it being my first pregnancy I did not know much and I leaned on this staff and Dr to Protect me and my child. However that did not happen.I had several issues with this office. The MAIN being the miscommunication, unprofessionalism and utter rudeness. My complaints were NOT heard and as a Black women it is scary enough trusting in the health system especially while pregnant. I was pregnant with my daughter and had MULTIPLE scans where I was told my daughter was fine. That her heart was a BIT small but FINE. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE, my daughter had SHONS syndrome it is a heart condition l. Which is could have and should’ve have been diagnosed prior to my daughter being born. I could STILL have my child today. Had it not been for that lack of detail.My daughter died in may. I don’t want this to be true for anyone else. Please please think again about your decision after my review.

This is my second pregnancy and I love this office I love the staff and Dr. Marquette! They make you feel so comfortable. They know what theyre doing. Wonderful and amazing! I cant thank them enough!

Dr. Marquette and Deanna are wonderful, I was very nervous since Im not comfortable with male doctors but he relaxed my nerves and was wonderful during my labor. This was my first child so I was very scared during the labor process but he joked around with my family and I while I was pushing and expressed how sorry he was that my husband wasnt able to get his leave approved from the army to come for the birth.

The worst bedside manner I have ever had After experiening many miscarriages and he did my D & C which was good. He was a great doctor in the beggining then I became pregnant again 1 month later and I was very concernered and scared. He had no empathy when I experienced complications. Always made me feel like a nobody because I was so scared and always made me feel horrible. Next thing I get a phone call that he cancelled my apts. and dropped me at 17 weeks preg. Not a good practice for patient abandonment. Apparently this is not his first time he has done this to others. Should of listened to my friends and started with a different doctor.

Staff is unwelcoming, rude and uncaring. The only nice person there was ONE receptionist, I wish I could remember her name. Every appointment I have had with this doctor I have waited an hour before seeing anyone. They have scheduled my reason for appointment TWICE incorrectly. This last one was the one that broke my patience. My last appointment was again an hour wait and I saw Dr. Marquette for literally 1 min. He rushed me to Quest to have emergency blood work done and pushed an appointment for the next business day to talk about the results. So I went in today for said rushed appointment. They NEVER even scheduled me to see him and THEN they couldnt schedule me an appointment after that at all! They didnt even get the results from QUEST! I called quest ahead of time and they said the results were ready. Dr. Marquettes office didnt even bother calling them to see if my baby was ok or not!!! Im due in two months so its not like they have a lot of time to keep screwing up like this! They turned me away!!!! Said they would call me to schedule an appointment when they got to it. So after instilling in me the fear of something really bad happening with my baby they messed up my whole appointment with nothing less of an eye roll. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! AVOID AS BEST AS YOU CAN! Seriously.. they should all be embarrassed. My baby could be dying and they couldnt care less about it.. awful awful awful! One of the worst doc offices I have EVER been to! Laughably bad! The staff is uncaring, rude an incompetent.. with the exception for that ONE older blonde receptionist. The doctor is just as incompetent and uncaring and cold as they are. Please consider other doctors before settling on this one. Really.. just trying to save my fellow moms the eminent frustration.

I would give this doctor 0 stars if I could. Before I could become a patient, I was made to complete a questionnaire so the doctor could determine if hed like to accept me as a patient. The following business day I received a message saying to call to set an appointment. When I returned the call, I was told that Dr. Marquette had decided that he could not service me for my pregnancy. I was given no explanation whatsoever and was hung up on.

Unfortunately, I saw Dr. Marquette for my second pregnancy. The wait times in the lobby were long at every appointment, sometimes I wouldnt even have my vitals taken until an hour after my scheduled appointment. You can plan on being at his office for much longer than you would think. I didnt mind waiting though. What I minded was when I finally did get to see Dr.Marquette, it was literally for five minutes, if that. Every single time I had to remind him who I was, that I was having a c-section, when I was due, etc. I understand he must see a numerous amount of women daily, but there wasnt even an effort to remember me and my pregnancy. He was in and out before I could ask any questions or bring up any concerns. My entire pregnancy I had been vomiting severely and he never ran any tests or gave me any explanations why. I started contracting and dilating on New Years Eve. I was scheduled for my surgery on the 4th of Jan. He had me pumped full of fluids, and I was sent home under his orders to only come back if I was having more frequent contractions. These contractions were 7-9 minutes apart, mind you. The rest of the day and into the night I was contracting and miserable. At 4 am my contractions were 3-5 minutes apart and I went back to the hospital. He didnt respond until 10am, said he would come to the hospital and check me out. A little after noon he finally arrived, though I didnt see him until 1:30pm. He asked me why I was there and again, why I needed to have a repeat c-section, and after examining me said I needed to be prepped right away for surgery. As Im literally walking to the operating room a nurse stops myself and the nurse escorting me and informs us that Dr.Marquette was in another surgery and I would have to wait. I didnt have my baby delivered until after 3:00pm. He was extremely rude to the nurses and rushing them, when he was taking his time with everything. I tried to thank him regardless and talk to him during my c-section, and to my disgust he was complaining about working and not being on vacation like his family members. As if my labor experience wasnt irritating and awful enough, my boiling point came when it was time for me to see my son. After waiting the necessary hour after surgery to have him brought in, I received a call from the nursery saying they couldnt bring him to see me because I was a danger to him due to a disease I had. I quickly corrected them, ensuring I infact was not inflicted with this disease that was documented in my charts. My lab work confirmed that I was healthy and they brought in my son, but there was still no reason or explanation as to why it was documented from Marquette that I had this disease. The following day when he stopped by my room to check on me, I asked him about this. His response was to question me as to who did my intake and initial paperwork at his office (like I would remember) and say he didnt know why it was there and it must have been that persons fault. I never saw him again. He didnt do my follow up at the hospital, he didnt do my follow up appointments at his office. It was such an awful experience from day one. If he cared as much about his patients as he does about bragging about his Ferraris maybe he would retain more patients and have better reviews. Absolutely awful. Save yourself the nightmare and go to Dr. Johnson.

I wish I could give this place no stars! My wife decided on Dr. Marquette at the end of her second trimester. They treated my wife so badly the entire time! The staff is unbelievably rude and uncaring. The doctor is a complete fool. Saw him ONE time in over three months and the one time she did see him, he sent her out for emergency blood work for a disease that had to do with a rash only on the palms and feet, when she had a rash on her belly. He made it seem like a life or death situation and put all of our family under a lot of stress. Even one of the midwives there, after being told the story thought the guy was a fool as she knew that wasnt ever the case with my wife (after being told her symptoms.) Why can a nurse do it correctly but this doctor cant? More often then not they screwed up her appointments. They ALWAYS forgot to tell my wife results for tests and things. My poor wife had to wait a MONTH to get treated for a simple Y infection because they forgot to tell her her results twice in a row and wouldnt reschedule an appointment shorter than two weeks! They are the worst in Ocala! AVOID AS BEST AS YOU CAN! This place caused my family more harm than good. Seriously, I can get better advice and help from my aspiring 4 year old doctor (son) at home!

Came here for my first pregnancy and right off the bat didnt feel welcomed or comfortable at the place. Wait time was really long I almost thought they forgot about me. I only saw the doctor for 5 minutes, if that. I get you can be busy and have other patients but my first time being pregnant I had a lot of questions and concerns and felt like I wasnt heard or I was just being rushed out and I wasnt cared for. It worried me. I felt like the staff was not so much rude but they didnt look happy or ever smiled or tried to make small talk with you or even talk at all. And I felt like they kept telling me different stuff at each appointment I went to when I was finding out the gender of my baby.

I just called to make a first-time appointment because I just got recently pregnant and I just had a baby 7 months ago and was still trying to lose the weight I have gained but its been hard because of my pregnancy anyways they would not accept me because of my weight I have never seen a doctor use the fat excuse just to not accept patients. it is shameful and hurtful to say this to people over the phone without even meeting them this office should be ashamed of themselves.

Best Doctor!! I been going there for 8years no regrets❤️❤️ I had one DC procedure and 3 csection the cut is was thin and healed perfectly and fast. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! I can only talk great things about this Office. Always super attentive, fast on sending orders out, never spend more than 30-40mins on the office, always answer my questions and concerns!

I paid 295$ to do an ultrasound , l only heard two heartbeats ., she was in rush , and they told me that l have several fibroids nobody knows how many of them she said that she not allowed to say anything the dr will tell you when i asked the dr he said she didnt say you want me to ask her , i said ok than hey said they will call me i waited 3 days for the call than they told me that they sent my file to uf woman health i called uf they said they didnt send anythg i had to call again to make sure that they sent it im not sure why i was told that my file was sent to uf woman but wasnt it i think thats lying o patient and very unprofessional

I have read a lot of these reviews and while yes the wait time is sometimes long its like that everywhere. I have found the staff to be caring and understanding with all my questions and concerns. This is my first child in about 14 weeks and have seen doc one time he was caring and took time to answer my questions. When I called after I was in the er he explained my results to me also. He is a great doctor.

Ive been seeing Marquette since I was 11 weeks pregnant, very clean & pretty office. Most of the staff seem like they are forcing themselves to be happy & excited to be at work. Im now 35 weeks & my appts are every 2 weeks, they tell you NOTHING about anything happening with your baby or pregnancy, for example I got my glucose test done & when I came on for my next appt all I got was Your glucose results were fine not what they were supposed to be or an explaination of what makes them fine this is my first child so Im learning all these things. Another example would be when I got my final ultrasound they said nothing about the baby, except the heart rate is good, didnt bother to say his approximate weight, size, nothing. They have never told me I was anemic until my 35 week appt & the nurse practitioner randomly mentioned it so I was confused because I never heard anything about that & I got my iron test at the wic office & normal results are 11.9. I was at 11.3 so I doubt Im anemic. Bottom line, there are better options so find a doctor who cares more about their job & what they can do for you. He is nice but lacks empathy & concern.

I never had any problems with the Dr. or any of his medical staff. The only thing that made me really uncomfortable was when I brought up having a natural child birth. I did not feel that he was supportive and he went on and on about how a lot of women say that, but it rarely happens and that I should trust him & the interventions he recommends. The problem is, I am VERY serious about having a natural childbirth, I do not want any intervention and I did not feel that he supported my decision in this 100%.

Dr. Marquette literally saved my life. He was not initially my doctor - I had midwives of Ocala. I ended up having some complications (a fourth degree laceration) & they called in Dr. Johnson to repair it. I cant even describe how he treated me. All I can say is he made my experience even worse. Dr. Johnson was a nightmare. He was rude, upset he was called in & treated me horribly. As a result, he ended up doing a faulty repair. I later discovered that something was wrong & returned to the hospital. Thats when I met Dr. M. I went back to the hospital with major issues & he took me to the OR & completely re-did everything. Thank god he did because now Im able to function like a normal human being & didnt end up septic or dead. Im happy to say that he will be delivering all of my future babies! He is wonderful & so is his staff!

Personally, I would never have any one else deliver my kids. He has delivered both of my boys, and did an amazing job. He takes his time answering any questions you may have and builds a relationship with you throughout your pregnancy.

This office has the RUDEST office staff Ive ever seen! I went in to schedule my apt.; asking the lady if they had any openings that week, she said this isnt a health clinic... I said Ive been here before and I am just wanting to schedule my annual. I will be out of birth control soon. Apparently they schedule 1 year and 1 day apart so that you run out of birth control. I notified her that I would need more pills and she said not to worry about it. So the time came when I was completely out of pills and should have started a new pack. I called the office 8 times each of the 2 preceding days before I thought my apt. was (no one ever answered). I had no call reminding me of my apt. I left work early that Friday to go and thought it was at 2pm. I got there at 1 to check and they were closed for the day. I have been off birth control since Friday and hope to get a hold of someone soon. Although it seems that no one works in the office answering the phones.

Dr. M is a very busy Dr as there are a lot of woman pregnant at times, however he gets his appts done with quickness.. says nothing extra unless needed and lets you on your way.. he saw me for half of my 1st pregnancy (moved out of state). All of my 2nd. And now my 3rd.. my second delivery she got stuck on her shoulder, this however did not scare him he put on his game face and got her out quickly as she was having problems breathing.. I couldnt imagine having a different doctor delivering my 3rd baby, I am comfortable with Dr. M and his staff, and recommend his office for anyone expecting.

I had made an appt here with ARNP Bobbie Reynolds, upon recommendation from another physicians office. After reading the reviews, I was expecting a haunted house experience. I would like to publish my experience so that anyone thinking of going here, has a recent review/rating. The office is very plush upscale and comfortable. The front office staff was relaxed yet pleasant, professional. The m.a.s interviewing prior to ARNP/Drs entry for exam were very knowledgable and upbeat. No one rushed me even though we had neglected to arrive early for 1st appt and ran late because if filling out forms. The ARNP was top notch, kind,knowledgable and visit was everything I could ask for.

I am a current patient and i hate it! The staff is lazy, sits around and does nothing! This is my second child with them, and the attitude and everything has been the complete opposite...its as if Im at fault for anything that goes wrong. I needed a medical release form faxed over to someone, and it has already been a week and not done...how sad. I already am miserable with morning sickness and over emotional, this should be a good experience i thought. Unfortunately not so. Wishing I could change my doctor.

I am so surprised of all these horrible reviews because my experience 3 years ago was awesome. He was very friendly and thorough with each visit. His staff was very efficient and although some visits took longer than others, his office was very clean and comfortable. I was adamant that wanted a vbac and although he could not promise me, in the end I got what I wanted.

I went for an appointment, met him for maybe 5 minutes was told I passed his test. He sent me for an ultrasound and I went the next day. Almost two weeks later and had a nurse call me to inform me I was being dropped as a patient due to his choosing. No referrals, no answers just dropped likeep some trash. I was told but several friends that he was the best, all he did for me was make me feel worthless and wonder why I was not good enough to be a patient.

I love this office. Dr. Marquette and all staff are wonderful and caring. Lots of smiles; I like that!

Dr Marqutte is the best! After taking my 15 year old to emergency room monroe hosp for 4 days in a row to no diagnose but SEVERE PAIN. He took her in and the very next day she was in surgery her ovary and half fallopian tube had to be removed she had a tumor. I thank God for using him. You are the best in ocala

New to pregnancy. missed 2 of my 1st appts due to me not feeling well and was never sent my patient information through email and wanted to reschedule again but said they could no longer assist me and to find a different provider. very unprofessional to a newcoming pregnant woman.

They literally do not allow the father to come to the appointments. This is not a Florida protocol but yet here they are making no sense and not allowing me to participate in one of the biggest processes in my life. Insane. Do not come here if you are a father to be or want your baby’s dad to be a part of the process.

Maaaaan whats the point in having an appointment and you wait, wait, and wait. Today my appointment is at 9:20..vitals after 10. Lobby still at 10:14, I mean I know you have to wait EVERYWHERE but damn...all my appointments is just like this. And to top it off Im here for results only. Ive already waited two weeks for this appointment, Im thinking since its now 10:20 I should wait another day, Im sure Im not dying.

Spoke with the doctor about trying to get pregnant and at the follow up appointment (2 wks later) was offered birth control. They did not listen to anything I said. Very disappointing. Will be finding a new OB who listens to my concerns and goals...

Hes amazing, very helpful. Explains things to where you really understand them. I definitely trust him and he makes me feel very comfortable. First kid is always scary but I couldnt have gone through this without him.

I went here for post menopausal spotting,was not called in to room until 30 minutes AFTER appt. time and then waited in room over 35 minutes before being seen by doctor who did exam, he informed me I had an infection no testing at all was done &he prescribed a medication, and Premarin,went back in 2 weeks for follow up, again waited in room for about 30 minutes and was then informed doctor was called out for delivery and there was no nurse who could see me, I understand babies come when they are ready so I made new appt. for 1 week later, in the meantime I developed another infection which I found was caused by the med they prescribed so I called their office, they would call in a script for me, I made sure they knew I do not like pills and to prescribe a cream, I go to get med and it is a pill...also the Premarin caused actual bleeding so I now have more issues than when I first went in and still no idea why I have spotting, I am done and now seeing a new GYN , they dont have 0 rating or he would get it

He delivered both of my babies beautifully. He was absolutely amazing! Everything I wanted, asked for, and all of my questions were answered completely. He has high recommendation from me. Great, knowledgable physician.

Dr. Marquette has delivered six of my children and I have has a wonderful experience with each pregnancy and birth.

I made an appointment for a concern I was having and was made to feel the appointment was unnecessary and that I was going to be a problem patient. After finding out they werent even going to monitor fetal hear rate at my 12 week appointment, i switched my ob immediately.

If you want to donate your babys cord blood to a public bank, this doctor is NOT for you. I also agree with Richer - his radiologist is the worst Ive ever seen.

I really liked this place. I had one visit and then the staff called and told me i needed to find a different doctor becuz the doctor has to many deliveris on my due date so that made me pissed. Because of that im not sure i would recommend this place anymore

Dr. Marquette is the nicest person ive met and fix all concerns we had i really appreciate him
