The staff are always so nice and welcoming. The ambiance is cozy and calming. Most importantly Dr.DelCharco always looks out for your best interest and really listens without feeling rushed. I love how he explains everything. I can’t say enough good things about his practice. He has done more for me in 2 years than my last GYN did in 20! I highly recommend!

In May I saw Megan who was extremely condescending and rude (I told her I had a certain issue, she wasnt listening and started talking about an unrelated issue that starts with the same letter. I had to correct her and she didnt believe I even had the condition I was diagnosed with, despite my professional diagnosis. She also recommended antidepressants for something that does not require antidepressants, and is being successfully treated without them).Luckily she is apparently no longer going to be in the office very much. But how did I find that out? They cancelled my August appointment, which I had scheduled since May, without so much as a voicemail. I had absolutely no idea why it was cancelled, there was zero information. They cancelled it late Friday morning, and since they close at noon on Fridays, I had to wait 3 days and track THEM down. I had to call from my job and find out what was going on. They did offer to reschedule months later. No thanks.

I felt welcome as a new patient and it’s convenient to get the mammogram at the same appointment. I appreciate that they were able to fit me into the schedule.

I received an unsolicited certified letter recommending a non life threatening procedure that I previously declined to receive.Yet, they do not only sent me a certified letter recommending to schedule an appointment for the procedure, but the following week, they sent me a bill charging me $10.00 for the certified letter that I did not request.In my opinion, this is not an ethical businesspractice, and it shows where this clinics priorities lies. I canceled all my future appointments with them, and they have lost me as a patient.I hope this review helps the clinic to re-evaluate how they are billing patients and for the type of procedures that would be deemed important in order to send a certified letter.Beware if you are planning to schedule your appointment here.

From my arrival at Dr. DelCharcos office, the clerical staff were courteous and professional. Support staff, concerned & caring,. Dr. DelCharco is a formidable physician explaining detail procedures. Caring and concern nature.elicits ones trust.

I don’t know how this office has such a high rating considering the poor customer service from the front desk and the run around billing will give you as they don’t have any clue what they’re doing and can’t (or won’t) answer basic questions. I wasn’t trying to be difficult, just wanted to make sure to close out my account so I could close the door on having to deal with this office and never deal with them again.Not only is their office staff rude, purposefully putting you on hold for 15-20 min to avoid helping you but I only received a hand full of prenatal appointments and the few times I actually did labs with them, they NEVER called me back to follow up. Fortunately the next OBGYN office I went to actually cared to support their patients. I constantly had to follow up with them even as a high risk pregnancy patient they did not care. If you are a high risk pregnancy and truly care about your health/ prenatal care go somewhere else. Very disappointed as I was misled by the reviews.

Dr.DelCharco I met for the first time yesterday and he thoroughly explained all my lab results and answered my questions with no hesitation. I would highly recommend his practice to anyone. All is staff was very polite

I love this office! Ive experienced other gynecology offices and the run of the mill doctors office to get checked out and decided to come here through a reference. Doctor Sanders is amazing and makes me feel at ease and comfortable. Her communication skills are exceptional and is timely with any results. The reception staff is just as wonderful and kind. I have never had a better experience in any other office and do not plan on going anywhere else.

Most important still is that this doctor cares and cares enough to listen, to suggest without pushing and to ease concerns with regards to surgical repairs needed. Am I looking forward to surgery? No. Wish I didn’t need these repairs. Am I confident I’m in capable hands and that the end result will be a better quality of life? You bet! Looking forward to feeling like myself and getting back to leading an active lifestyle again.

Due to the standard practice of this office not informing patients that Dr. DelCharco doesn’t do deliveries until AFTER your first appointment (because they know it’s difficult to switch providers at this point) and the office manager showing no interest in how I was impacted, I wanted to share this upfront and how it can impact you so you can make an informed decision if this is the best practice for your maternal care.Dr. DelCharco only saw me twice throughout my pregnancy and the second time was ONLY because Megan (NP) made sure of it. Considering there isn’t a midwife here, he doesn’t do deliveries and no one else specializes in obstetrics, he should at least make sure patients see him for certain visits like initial, 20 week follow up, postpartum etc otherwise it comes off as greed and not providing this service in the best interest for patients.My water broke early outside of office hours. I get it, not their problem, but since Dr. DelCharco doesn’t do deliveries, the hospital did not have access to my records and ordered duplicate test because it’s the offices practice to not share the patient file with Advent until 36 weeks.I emailed the staff while being induced to let them know I would not need to go to my 36 week appointment and didn’t even get a reply to say congrats or we hope everything is ok just an automated email scheduling a follow up six weeks out. 36 hours after my baby was born I received a very automated voicemail stating the office was going to close but they would try to call again tomorrow. They could have checked with Advent to make sure all was well and at least sound happy when leaving the voicemail.While many offices rotate physicians so you can be comfortable with everyone who may deliver your baby and the providers have an optimized schedule, it doesn’t work for this office. This design made the staff very uninvested in providing maternal. Twice they came to me while I was checking out realizing they didn’t go over something with me in the room. The NP are nice but it was always very automated, weight, blood pressure, no questions, see you next month-a previous provider listened for the heartbeat with me, talked openly about concerns and how I would want to handle, proactively provided education and discussed what to expect next etc I only felt a fraction of this on a handful of visits.Other offices are seeing patients post partum within two weeks. This office is still practicing six weeks and you will still only see an NP. Again, the NP are nice but not interested in making sure you’re ok postpartum and you still won’t be scheduled with an OB or midwife who actually specializes in this.From a financial standpoint-The office elects not to submit the funds they collect upfront to your insurance and rather than ask if you would like the money applied to your deductible or refunded, they silently apply a credit on your account so if you switch offices and don’t catch this, you’ll never know. I struggle with the lack of ethics here-there should be a law that they’re required to give you the option of what to do with your money- there’s not, but as someone who takes a code of ethics, you can simply choose to be transparent.Shanon, the defensive office manager, insisted my insurance had not paid them for a visit and I needed to come out of pocket. I tried to show her that it had been paid but she insisted it wasn’t. Rather than take the time to call their billing department, I had to waste my time calling the insurance company to verify what was on their website, then tell her again it was in fact paid and they had cleared the check over a month prior. Sometimes, you need to take a step back, realize the patient might be right and just say sorry…and mean it.

My first visit to this practice due to a Dr. Referral for a procedure. I arrived 15 minutes early. Parking was easy. Unfortunately, this practice isnt ADA compliant. There should be an Automatic Push Button for disabled people & Mothers with Infants to use for easier access to enter through the front door, the restrooms should be that way as well. Check-in was easy. The two ladies at the Reception Area were efficient and professional. The waiting area was clean along with nicely decorated live plants. My appointment was at 9:45 AM; however, I wasnt called until 10:00 AM, there was no mention made of anyone running late. After my BP was taken & getting weight in, along with answering a few more questions, I waited some more. Finally, Megan M. and another female (forgot her name), entered the room around 10:15 AM & the procedure got started. Then, another wait because apparently not everything was set up properly and Megan left the room to get the proper tool. Once the procedure was done, I was told the results could take 2+ weeks because of the holidays. I expected better on my first visit and was dissappointed that I wasnt seen by an MD. It is unprofessional, unacceptable & rude to make patients wait. Open & honest communication goes a long ways. While I realize everyone is busy during the holiday season, patients should always be treated with courtesy & respect. Where is the empathy & compassion? Patient care should always be a top priority. Hopefully, these issues that I have addressed here on my review, will be taken into consideration.Update: I called on January 8th & left a message for Megan the NP, to discuss my lab results as I had additional questions. I finally received a return call from her on January 16th. The lack of professional care is unacceptable and unprofessional. I will file a complaint with my PPO Administrator. This is about accepting Accountability and Responsibility. I do not recommend this practice or Megan, the NP.

I have seen Brittany for many years. She is always very thorough, kind and informative. She is always on time and returns calls quickly.

Had my first appointment today. They were very efficient and friendly.

Even though this office is pretty far from my area, I enjoy going to this practice for my first pregnancy. All of the staff, nurse practitioners & Dr. Delcharco are very nice, knowledgeable, understanding, supportive & really listen to you instead of rushing you out the door. My only wish is that this office did deliveries but that’s okay! Will probably continue being a patient for gyn services post delivery even if it is 50mins away.

I came in with post-menopausal bleeding and needed to have a D&C.The procedure seemed to go very well. I left the office in no pain and little bleeding. While others may have a different experience, l remained pain free throughout the rest of the day and night.But the thing that also impressed me was the communication:* You can sign in online the day before you arrive at your convenience.* The anesthesiologist called me the day before to ask questions and let me ask questions.* I am an excellent reader, but also have ADHD, and sometimes normal preop papers get too boring and l skip stuff. These were short and to the point, which l appreciated.* The nurses and staff were thorough in explaining what was happening and what they were going to do next, which alleviated my anxiety.It was, despite the purpose of the visit, an overall good experience. I would highly recommend this office.

We had the worst possible experience for our first child. For how expensive it is they don’t provide enough resources or have updated technology. To get blood drawn you have to go to a separate office.. the ultrasound machine is very outdated. & we found ourselves having to call and follow up because the communication was so terrible. Since this is our first child and we didn’t know what to expect we defiantly felt like they took advantage of our inexperience. The doctor there doesn’t deliver anymore. Stress levels were high the entire pregnancy especially towards the end at 40-41 weeks spiked because of this office. If I could give zero stars I would.

The best OB/GYN. Both Meghan and Brittany are awesome and compassionate. The two times Ive had procedures Dr DelCharco had great bedside manner and explained everything clearly.

I went in for a visit with Dr. D. We discussed my medical issues and how we would resolve them. He was very informative on the surgical procedure i was going to have and answered all of my questions. Nice to have a physician that is not in a rush to get you in and out of your appointment.

Ive been seeing Brittany at Dr. DelCharcos office for years, and shes amazing (for many reasons). But I recently needed to see Dr. DelCharco for a procedure, and wasnt surprised that he was also fantastic. He was the kind of doctor that I am most comfortable with. He explained everything thoroughly, had a confident and calm manner about him, and I felt very secure that I was getting great care. And if it tells you anything about this office, it takes me an hour and a half drive from Tampa, and theyre worth it.

Staff is not friendly. Doctors are dismissive both DelCharco and Bartlett. She decided to come back to my room while I was delivering my baby because she had a flat tire. Dont recommended this practice and advent health hospital in Ocala. North FL in Gainesville is your best option.

Dr DelCharco and the office staff are wonderful. The front desk made sure that I felt important, from the minute that I entered the facility. Dr. DelCharco took extra time with me, during my appointment, to answer all my questions. I felt like he really cared about my issues, and wanted to give me the best quality care!

Today was an experience. While waiting for Meghan my glucose started dropping and I stated getting really bad anxiety. Only in a gown I rushed into the hall and stopped a nurse who immediately brought me back some juice to help balance me. Ms, I THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 😊Meghan is ALWAYS Great!!! She listens and she ask the right questions so that my care is 100%. I Just Love Her!!!

I had 3 appointments in the matter of just over a week. I felt very concerned about what was going on but the staff and Dr. DelCharco made me feel so at ease. I was skeptical about going to a new doctor but I couldnt be happier with my choice. I think I have finally found my OBGYN. While waiting to see him for my first prenatal pregnancy appointment,the office staff was informed that I didnt feel very well by my significant other.when they saw that we are a of different race,they smirked and said we can give you a cup and you can go to the bathroom sink. What was so hurtful was they gave him a urine cup . My husband took the cup without thinking about it.until we noticed that they were now laughing about it.He was so angry but I calmed him down and we left .we may be different and far from perfect but his staff,is really rude. I really dont know what to do about it.If this is any reflection on the Dr delCharco himself then I dont recommend him nor want him as my obgyn .do yourselves a favor,call another physician for your obgyn needs .I bet they would also discriminate patients with special needs to to afraid to to minister to various pregnancy situations. This is the first and only OB in the area that was willing to talk to me before choosing a doctor. Dr.DelCharco and the staff had compassion for my past traumatic birth experience and made me feel confident that I will be safe with this provider for future pregnancies. I was given options here when other providers turned me away for considering VBAC. I am so relieved to find a local provider who will respect my decisions and is willing to talk and give advice rather than try to make choices for me. I came into the office terrified at the thought of giving birth again and left feeling excited to have another baby!

UPDATE:: It’s been a good while since I posted my last review and I still feel the same! I was in just today for another follow up. Dr. DelCharco has a way of making you feel as tho you are his only patient. I always feel as though all my questions are answered and great attention to detail is taken to see that prescriptions are handled in the best way possible for me. The office runs like clock work. Always on schedule! Always neat, clean and tidy! Thank you again Dr. DelCharco and staff!!!***Dr. DelCharco is my favorite physician ever. He REALLY listens and cares. I see him every 3 months and I’m a nervous patient. With each visit I have less and less anxiety because he is skilled and caring. I honestly feel I am in the best care. I’m very fortunate to remain on his schedule for follow ups. Couldn’t be happier with the care I receive from him. I also enjoy his assistant Alexis. She is friendly, calm, organized and has a nice professional appearance.

I want to let everyone know this office is amazing! This is my first pregnancy and with that for me came a lot of worry and fear. However Dr. DelCharco and Dr. Bartlett helped me feel so at ease and very heard with my worries. Great staff always communicate, everyone there is in the same page.Dr DelCharco delivered my 1st baby, as soon as he got to the delivery room I felt safe and I knew everything was gonna be ok because he and his time were there for me. Him and his nurse guided me to have my baby 10 mns after they arrived. With my 2nd baby I also had a good experience, Dr. Bartley assisted me. ,everything was fast and easy. Ive always had a great experience with every of my appt. I had some anemia issues almost at the end of my pregnancy, they were able to referred me to another center to treat it, I was able to recover in such a short time. These Dr. Will addressed your concern and try to fix it or addressed you to the right center, just make sure you let them know how you feel

Im a fairly new patient to this office, but so far my experiences have been great. I am always taken back in a reasonable amount of time. The staff is always kind and courteous. Brittnie Sanders, ARNP has been fantastic in regards to my annual exam to ordering necessary exams in correlation to other concerns im having. I recently had a surgical consult with Dr. DelCharco and i feel like he definitely was looking out for my best interest when we decided that surgery wasnt the way to go at the moment and he referred me to a specialist instead for other issues im having. I would definitely recommend Dr. DelCharco and any of his colleagues at this office!

Only giving two stars because both Dr. Delcharco and Dr. Bartlett are nice and knowledgeable.The staff (especially BILLING) however, are rude and have been jerking me around.The billing department listed an inactive insurance policy I was previously under as, active, when billing for labor and delivery and for a follow up visit. I had previously informed the office that said policy was inactive and gave them my new plans information. As a result of their screw up, my current insurance (which was my only active insurance at the time of these claims) denied the claims and this office has put me in their private collections, to the tune of over $4000, that I DONT ACTUALLY OWE.The insurance company has been working with me and this office to resolve this extreme error, yet they keep putting me back in collections despite knowing the set time frame the insurance company provided. I have left voicemails giving updates from the insurance company for the office WITH NO RESPONSE. I am a single, working mother and a student. Its ridiculous that I am taking time out of my hectic responsibilities to remedy THEIR screw ups!!! Unless you want to get put through the ringer like this, do not bring your business here.

I drive almost 4 hrs to see Dr. Delcharco. I have nothing but good things to say about this office. Dr. Delcharco is a kind and compassionate doctor that cares your wellbeing. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful.

Its been a great experience thus far. Jolene is amazing shes been so thoughtful to call back with test results and answer any questions. Had my first OB appointment yesterday with Dr DelCharco his demeanor puts you at ease. Very knowledgeable doctor I feel confident I chose wisely with his office.

Brittanie is hands down the best nurse practitioner! She is caring and knowledgeable and a true professional. The whole office is run so well - today my appointment was at 3:45 and I got there a little early about 3:30. I had my appointment and felt my questions were answered and everything was good. I checked out and went to my car and it was only 3:55! So great!

My first visit was quick but not rushed and Dr. DelCharco was thorough and very informative. He made me feel comfortable. I had a previous experience with a male gyno in my teen years and I was was weary about seeing another one but Delcharco is very professional. All the staff are friendly and it was a pleasant visit. I would definitely recommend this office.

I would highly recommend Dr. DelCharco and his staff. Although the lady at reception wasnt the friendliest of people but she seemed to warm up. There was one other lady who seemed very nice, but had a sour look on her face after the initial smile. These things are important to me personally. I dont do fake nice. She wasnt rude, just a little cold. The nurse that was with me through my visit was amazingly nice. Dr. DelCharco was also very nice. Which is why I would recommend this office. There will always be a couple of people that are negative, but the majority of the staff were fantastic. The one thing I wasnt comfortable with as far as the examination room goes, is that the stirrups should be covered in plastic which should be removed after every patient. They have material which is permanently there and this concerned me. Otherwise top class and would highly recommend. I hope they read this and change the sanitation issue that I have.

I am very happy with my office visit. This a nice atmosphere and makes you feel glad that you are a patient there. The employees that I came in contact with made you feel at ease and comfortable. They listened to everything that I said and gave me an answer to each question. And Meghan Mader, ARNP is very good in her position. I highly recommend this Dr. and staff. When my lab report results came in, I received the report right away.

So far my experience has been more than outstanding at Dr. DelCharco’s office. My women’s wellness went great with Sanders back in June. And Madder has been helping my husband and I through our infertility journey and always keeping us informed!Met Dr. DelCharco yesterday, he insisted on meeting me before my surgery next week. The ladies in reception are super welcoming and always answer the phones in a timely manner (which is important to me). I’ve had many visit and they’ve all been beyond great! Thank you, and I cannot wait until I get to move over to the OB side!

I moved to Ocala in Aug. 2000. I found Dr. Delcharcho, who delivered 2 of my 3, now adult children, who also now see him. If you want an experienced, professionally caring OB/GYN doctor, who actually listens, then look no more. His PA and office staff are also equally professional and attenuate too your needs. The lobby is oganized, with quick waiting times. I highly recommend him!

I received several reminders of my upcoming appt.via text call and email. The staff was professional attentive and thorough. However the wait in the exam room was lengthy and less to be desired on my first visit. My subsequent visit with Dr. DelCharco was equally professional and thorough without a lengthy wait in the exam room. Dr. Is very knowledgeable,good bedside manners so to speak and overall I am extremely satisfied

Everyone here is so kind and understanding. Dr. DelCharco is one of the nicest doctors I’ve met and may have cured my fear of doctors. He is one of few doctors who actually listens to concerns and makes time to make sure you understand everything. Stephanie, my midwife, is a dream and has helped tremendously with this pregnancy so far. The girls at the front desk have fantastic customer service and always greet you with a smile. I couldn’t imagine going to any other office!

So far have only been 2 times now for my 10 week prenatal check up and 14 weeks (first pregnancy) and both times everyone was super nice and welcomed me. Made me feel very comfortable.great about answering all my questions to ease the stress. I really like that if something is wrong I can call them and they get back to me pretty quickly.Just had my 25 week check up so far so good. Baby is healthy and doing good. Met with Dr.Delcharco again answered all my questions and really helped ease my mind on things. Starting to have more back problems do to the weight gain but recommend a physical therapist to help will hopefully start that soon. So far the team at this office is very nice and helpful.Just had my 39 week check the team at Dr.Delcharco’s office are y’all very nice and sweet Jolene my midwife is very helpful and I highly recommend her and this office. If we have another baby I will definitely use them again.

Super practice, everyone is warm, welcoming and friendly. Dr Delcharco is wonderful, takes his time with you, makes you feel at ease.

Although some workers are very sharp and abrupt it doesnt cause the whole office to not have good attributes I really appreciate and enjoy most of my experiences with this office for the most part most of the staff are very friendly formative and helpful. Those that are sharply spoken I believe they have a good heart just the delivery is off.

I have been going here since I was 18, (I moved) and I’m now 28! The staff is always friendly and the front desk girls know me by name! No matter who I see they always treat me like they have been with me since the beginning! Dr DelCharco is very kind and bed side manner is very sweet. I highly recommend going here to my family and friends!

I was delighted to have Stephanie examine me for my 2 year physical allowed by Medicare. She was extremely professional. She answered all my questions/concerns. Worst visit!! No help!! Went in for a visit for perimenopause symptoms. Paid $300 for the practitioner to take notes for 30 minutes and a pap. No blood work, no test, other than the pap, no medical solution!! No follow up call or test results!! Still dealing with irregular periods and hormones imbalances. So frustrated. This is bad practice.

Friendly staff. Short waiting time.Doctor takes time to talk to the patient. Answers all your questions. I did not feel rushed. Pleasant atmosphere. They always try to be on time. And doing a great job at it

I can’t believe that the doctor and the office told us that the doctorM. DelCharco, Jr., M.D. LLC would be delivering my daughter baby and at the hospital they said that he doesn’t deliver anymore. What is going on also my son in-law paid more on the side for M. DelCharco, Jr., M.D. LLC to deliver the baby. And no doctor I’m so upset .

I’m 71 and had to have a D&C. I am so incredibly happy with the way I was treated and cared for. The whole staff from the front desk to the doctor and anesthesiologist were amazing. I came out of that with absolutely no problems, walked 3 miles the next day and bike that afternoon. This is the place to go for any OB/GYN needs hands-down.

Love Stephanie & Dr. DelCharco! They are compassionate, thorough, and never make you feel rushed. I am pregnant with our third baby and I cant imagine going through this again without their wonderful staff. From the front desk to the medical assistants and providers, the office is easy to work with, enjoyable and patient-focused.

I have been seeing Brittnie for many years now, and she is a caring and conscientious health care provider. She is quick and efficient, but willing to take her time if you need some extra attention. I would recommend her to anybody.

First time meeting with Dr. Delcharco last week, Feb 2023. He was informative, reassuring and very personable. The staff was polite and welcoming.

I was initially not that comfortable with a male obgyn especially since I was coming for my first pregnancy, but Delcharco ended up being amazing. Bartlett was also a great addition to the practice. I had great positive experiences with both of them and I love the staff there as well.

I have used Dr. Delcharco for all 3 of my pregnancies for my prenatal care and he and his team are very professional and kind. I would highly recommend them.

From my wife’s first visit, nothing but confusion, miscommunication, and nonsense. When we found out she was pregnant, they told us she was 9 weeks along but refused to do an ultrasound to confirm. When we pressed them, they still refused because “results would be more accurate at 18-20 weeks.” Her blood pressure was high (probably due to the stressful reactions of the inept nursing staff) so they had her come back in and retest. Still high. Mind you, we’ve had nothing but normal home tests and normal test at the “high risk” doctor we were referred to all the way in Gainesville. Lo and behold, when the Gainesville office did the ultrasound (at 13 projected weeks not 18-20), the baby measured at 9 weeks which makes the genetic test we did useless. We’ve already done the gender reveal, and could be completely wrong now about gender. Not to mention, every time we had to call in the person who answered had no clue what was going on (I had to call in several times as my wife never left there without questions about what had happened at her own appointment and they won’t let anyone in including partners - UF, our new facility, lets one person accompany the mother.) We never met Dr. Del Charco, only his staff. He may be an amazing doctor for all we know, but his staff is a mess. Avoid!

I really enjoy going here, everyone is so kind and friendly! Doctor DelCharco and his staff are professional and knowledgeable, they made sure I was comfortable and asked if I needed anything. I was treated as a priority and they had my best interest at heart. I highly recommend Doctor DelCharco and his staff.

I was worried and a mess but He explained the procedure with compassion to my fear so i understood what was going to happen. I felt confident when i left the office. Not a fan that they couldnt schedule my consult with the Dr at the same time so I had to pay ANOTHER $35 for a consult for him to tell me they didnt see anything but he wants blood work. That couldnt have been done with a phone call or an email?

I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to share my story so no one else ever has to feel the way I felt after being seen at this office for my first pregnancy. First off, I originally chose this practice because there was a midwife available and I was only able to see her for one visit before she suddenly left the practice. I could handle that seeing as I wasn’t very involved with the midwife, having only seen her once. Then, I was scheduled to start seeing Megan, one of the nurse practitioners. She told me she usually works with the GYN patients but her and Brittnie were having to fill in for the OB visits since the midwife had left the practice. I understood every bit of that. Well, Megan saw me in the office for a complication I was having early in my pregnancy. She was not very personable and did not make me feel at ease for the entire appointment. Then, she prescribed me a medication to use at home and on the first night of using it, I noticed bleeding right away. So I called the after hours provider because I was concerned, and it just so happened to be Megan of course. When I told her the one single symptom of bleeding with no cramping whatsoever she responded in these exact words, “well I hope it isn’t a miscarriage.” I didn’t even know what to say to that. She then proceeded to ask me a couple questions and told me to go to labor and delivery if I had any more bleeding or began to cramp, in the most uncaring tone possible. I cried for 45 minutes straight because I thought I was having a miscarriage while having only one symptom. Needless to say, I changed providers and am much happier now. But this was just uncalled for and extremely unprofessional on Megan’s part. I just hope no one else ever has to feel this way when they are already concerned about something, especially during their first pregnancy.

I had my first and last visit at this office yesterday. I was refereed to this office by my Primary Doctor for a second opinion. Prior to my visit I personally faxed over the hospital records and asked the lady who made my appointment if she wanted me to have records sent from the 2 gynos i seen at another office and the other specialist they sent me to. She said no. The wait wasnt long to go see the doctor. Once in the room I explain to the nurse what was going on. She then informed me that the Doctor would be in shortly. When the so called Doctor came in come to find out she was a nurse practitioner. Once I explained everything to her before she even put a hand on me she said it sounds like you need to come back and see the actual Doctor. I commented back with this is why I am here for a second opinion. Yes, I started to cry and become upset because I have been dealing with this issue for nearly 2 months and in constant pain. After she already put her hands on me she then processed to say. I can stop this exam if you want me. I said but you already took my money I highly doubt your going to refund me. She finished her exam and had the practice manager come in. I was not impressed with her approach. I informed her that this visit was for a second opinion and now you want me to come back for another appointment. I have already spent out over 300.00 trying to find out what is going on with me. I was truly hoping for answers today. I informed her that I drove an hour to get to this office and paid $55.00 to be told to come back and no answers. Not once did she show any kind of concern. She immediately went into this how the clinic is ran. You see a lower level staff member to be established then you come back to see the main doctor if they are unable to handle the issues. I informed her that I personally sent my records over and you would think that an ovary that is almost 3 times enlarged with a cyst and having another cyst would be a case for the doctor. She then informed me of the same thing that I needed to come back to see the actual doctor and how no Doctor was actually in the building today. As im picking up my belongings and heading to the door she had the nerve to ask me if I was going to make any further appointments. I said are you serious after wasting $55.00 for no answers you want me to come back. I feel like this office is all about the money and not the patients concerns. The really sad thing is I heard nothing but good things about this office before my appointment and how well they take care of the patients from multiple people and how I would have answers and be treated with top notch care. I truly hope that the owner and Doctor reads this review and figures out a better solution to how this office is ran. Also they sent an email to sign up for an online portal. Guess what no notes or recommendations listed.

One of my coworkers complained about Dr. Delcharcos staff. She said they were rude & abrupt, but each time that Ive visited the office Ive NEVER encountered that. I guess it depends on the individual. They were nice to me, but then again I have a personality. Keep up the good work!👍👍👍👍👍

I was pleased to come to a well-run, pleasant office. The staff was very professional and helpful. Dr. DelCharco was attentive to my needs, spending as much time with me as needed to answer all my questions. For a first visit I was extremely satisfied and will continue with his medical practice.

To say I’m impressed with Stephanie Short would be a huge understatement! I could sing her praises all day, everyday! She’s amazing! I know she’s super busy, but she is always kind and patient! She treats her patients like family! I feel so blessed to know her and be one of her patients! She truly is the best of the best! Unprofessional, unfriendly staff that simply want to get you in as many times as possible to collect your money and insurance money. It’s unfortunate that now this is all some doctors offices care about. Patient care does not come first at this office. Also, if you are a GYN patient, do not expect to ever meet Dr. Delcharco himself. I went consistently for over a year and requested several times to meet my doctor and never did. I was always passed off to the nurse. The nurses are certainly wonderful women but all specialists need to make it a priority to meet with their patients at least once, especially if they are coming in for the same recurring issue. It was evident that the nurse could not help eliminate my problem. I switched doctors offices and upon my first visit, was able to speak with the doctor himself and he gave me a deeper perspective and more solutions to my problem.

Great office! Brittnie and Dr. Delcharco provide great care. Everything is always thoroughly explained and I never feel rushed.

They kindly gave me a same day appoint so I did not have to go the ER. I really appreciate what they did, but I felt like I was on an assembly line. Rushed into an exam room, given drape and instructed what to do. Next given a quick Pap smear and told I would be scheduled for a sonogram. Nice people but I felt no real empathy for worried 66 year old with an unusual problem. Well it was certainly unusual for me. I was out and in my car before I realized, what just happened. I know they are busy, but I still have the problem and the cramping is still there. So now I wait 15 days for the test. I had plans to go to Maine for a family thing, and was told I could still go. I dont know, I may have to cancel and go the ER route, as nothing has changed from the time I called to get that urgent appointment. Thank goodness I see my doctor tomorrow and I can get some help.

Went here for a ovarian cyst issue that I was having, I have a history of such. Nurse and practitioner (Barrett) asked questions that were on the records I sent over, showing that they likely didnt read it. Proceeded not to listen to what I had to say, and gave me a medical plan that I had in the past that only worsened my condition. Did not listen to my protests on how said plan would only make me sicker and went ahead with it anyway. I dont honestly know how you can listen to how some other doctor tried the same thing and it didnt work and come to the conclusion that itll work this time. I know Id be getting better treatment if I wasnt young as I am, and got told I was too young to have this issue. Age doesnt protect you from disease or conditions. Frankly disappointing that in the medical field of all places this outdated idea is still held. See me as a patient, not a paycheck.

Very nice and efficient visit. I was at the office 10 years ago and things have really changed for the better. I got to see the Dr. first. That made it so much nicer to develop a relationship with the man and the office. It made me feel comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Shannon went above and beyond to resolve my concerns about my bill. She was extremely pleasant, efficient and compassionate about my problem. I also need to thank Meghan for even bringing to my attention that I should have genetic testing done given my history of endometrial cancer. I was very pleased and relieved at my results, which Meghan reviewed with me thoroughly. I feel that I receive the best of care as a patient of Dr DelCharco.

They’re nice enough over the phone, but no spouses are allowed to any appointments STILL, and they denied me because I have history of miscarriages. Pretty ridiculous in my opinion. But to each their own.

Staff very nice. Brittany was good but I felt she could of been more through in her assessment. She didnt ask me anything about medication or menopause ...just felt like she went through the motions.

Unfortunately I must edit my previous review due to my worsening medical condition because of oversight. I have two cysts and ovarian remnant tissue 3 years after my hysterectomy due to endometriosis. I had a ct scan in November (food poisoning) which showed this mass. Was referred to Dr. DelCharco and I was concerned about the cysts since I have had the same issue years before. I was anxious to have laproscopy before they got bigger since Ive had two previous surgeries already. Dr. DelCharco assured me they were small and we had time. He ordered an MRI and went on vacation for Christmas/New Years and made an appt for his next available time slot which was end of January (almost a month later). I ended up in the ER on Jan. 7th because the cysts were so large they were pushing against my intestines causing extreme pain. I was out of work for two weeks and on heavy pain meds initially. I called the office to let them know the same day I was in the ER and that I needed to be seen as soon as possible. They informed me they were booked up for the drs first week back and couldnt see me for two more weeks (my actual appt date). They sent me to another dr in Gainesville who has been a lifesaver. She put me on bc pills and magically, my cysts started shrinking immediately. My body is finally healing enough to have the less invasive laproscopy next month. Im so thankful she took the time to help me.This is a prime example of drs not listening to their patients. Especially female issues. I do not discount the years of knowledge and experience but its also completely unprofessional when you walk into a patients room, dismiss their concerns, and havent even read their chart. Every question he asked was in the pages of records sent over. All the tests were done and just ready for someone to talk to me, give me a solution, work with me because Im scared. I may not be having a baby or have all my parts but Im still a woman and my health is just as important. We know when our body does not feel right. When something is obviously wrong. Just listen to us.

I was referred by my primary at the beginning of the year. I was 4 months post partum. Due to COVID I needed to have my mom come and watch the baby so I could get a second opinion on my pelvic floor issues. They informed us that no one who was not a patient could be in the waiting room. So it made sense for everyone to have her come. When I arrived I told them I was going to wait in my car to risk exposure from the waiting room and also to nurse my newborn. They sent me a link to my intake form so I could fill it out on my phone. Which I thought was awesome.I filled out the paper work and waited. I never got a call after 20 minutes so I went back in and the front of house staff treated me terribly. I explained that I had informed them they continued to berate me about not knowing what to do because I missed my appointment.They also said they called me. They did not.It was very upsetting. Then they agreed to slot me after the next patient. I waited in the exam room for 30 minutes. Then all the paper work I filled out online “didn’t take” so they had someone come in and re ask me all the same questions I spent 20 min filling out. This took another 30 minutes. Remember the infant in the car with my mother.I have her very personal details about my symptoms then when she asked me if I had any STDs I said no. She stared at me and said well what about BV. I told her that was bacterial vaginosis and she said “oh I don’t know what that is.”I’m literally at the GYN, why doesn’t their staff know what BV is????????It’s literally the most common vaginal issue.I waited another 15 minutes.The nurse practitioner was informative and we talked about ways to strengthen the pelvic floor but told me my prolapse wasent that bad. But then it went sour....At one point she shamed and criticized me for not loosing weight even though I was breast feeding because in her personal experience this should be easy. Then again about my decision to baby wear so I could try to get exercise post partum.Then again she told me that was a terrible decision and not to drink the Coolaid about baby wearing.I was mortified when I left I didn’t check out I just ran away. It was so horrible. The entire experience was just terrible.I wanted to share my experience to help them improve their service and also to help someone else avoid having this experience in the future.

Rude , Cannot keep appointment times, have no idea about insurance billing, I’m hoping it’s just the idiots at the front and not the entire establishment is like this. BBB complaint next.

Dr. DelCharco and his staff are amazing. I have been seeing him since 2003 and even though some of his straff has changed tgey still are caring and professional. I am thankful to Dr. DelCharco and his staff for always making me feel comfortable and making me feel like Im their main priority. Thanks!

The reviews on here are amazing, and I chose this office by recommendation. The only warm and friendly encounter I had was with the young lady that scheduled my next appointment at the check-out window. The reason I went was not acknowledged. I left with no new information nor have I received any test results in the last 3 1/2 weeks since my appt. Check-in seemed to have trouble finding my appt or why I was there. Once in the back, the feeling of inconvenience was noted. Disappointing.

Brittnie is great. So happy a friend referred me to this office. The absolute quickest time at a doctors appointment every time I have been there. The new check in procedure was pretty smooth also.

In this office I see Stephanie Short. She is very nice and kind. She takes time with you and answers any questions you may have. If you leave her a message on the portal she responds in a very timely manner. I am very happy with her. I hope she never leaves 😁

I love that I am treated as person and not a number. Things are always explained in a way I can understand and I feel that my heath is in the best of hands.

The midwife was VERY thorough with my medical history and plan for my pregnancy. I never felt rushed during the visit and all of my questions were answered. I truly had her undivided attention during the appointment.

From I entered the doors to the time I checked out, the reception was receiving and welcoming. The 4 ladies that helped me today were great. Ms. Stephanie took her time to explain everything that she was showing to do before she did them and made it as comfortable as possible. Thanks!

DelCharco made it very easy for my hysterectomy procedure. The staff is incredible and made my problems simple instead of gloomy. They all are exceptional in customer service and holding my hand. Thank you !

The office is very nice, however I didn’t make it past the office manager’s office. I was a new patient, thought I was coming in to get established and discuss issues I had been having. Front desk asked for almost $300 (even with insurance). Told me it was a “problem visit.” No one had mentioned this prior to appt. Had the opportunity to sit and speak with the office manager who told me that my benefits weren’t verified until late in the afternoon the day prior. NOT MY PROBLEM. Someone should’ve called me then or in the morning PRIOR to my appt. Bleeding and horrible pain x 2 months, I am also in the medical field and if it’s my error, or my office staff’s error, we don’t make our patients pay for our screw up. I should’ve still been seen and given the chance to pay $300 at a later visit since I had to come back to “get established” anyway. It’s sad that poor managing ruins future patients.

Terrible experience!The ONLY nice person working there is Jolene the midwife! I saw Dr. Delcharcho 2 times my entire pregnancy. He did not deliver my baby and the office was not even notified from Advent Health that I had delivered! The front desk staff is rude and need to find jobs they enjoy!

My first experience at Dr.DelCharco in the beginning was a nightmare I say this only because the receptionist in the front was very unwelcoming and rude. She was combative over the phone as well as in person. I have never been to a womens doctor and felt so uncomfortable by a staff member. Thank God Dr DelCharco was the complete opposite he was amazing and astonishing, he actually made my visit enjoyable, the rest of the staff were understanding and compassionate. Other then that I still give the office a 5 star reading

The staff is always so very kind from the first person you see at the front desk to the the last person that checks you out. They are prompt and professional but still give you the feeling of personal care so many Drs offices lack. Stephanie is very caring you know that your well-being is important to her. Dr. Delcharco is kind as well. Will be a patient as long as the doors are open.

He wasnt in a hurry to get me out of the room, asked if I had questions and he explained everything to me. Clean office, very good staff. Ill keep seeing him once a year. And he has a caring smile. God bless him and his staff.

This was my fist time visiting this practice. I came in for a routine annual gyn exam. I saw Stephanie Short CNM, ARNP. She was very professional and polite. I will always hate having my annual pap/gyn exam and will always view it as a necessary evil, but there are some places that make the experience not awful. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had. It was not painful. It was not uncomfortable. It was over quickly, but I still felt as if it was thorough. Mrs. Short was very patient, answered all my questions, and was overall extremely pleasant. I like that there is an online “patient portal” where I can access my results online or leave messages. (Even though I received a follow up call as soon as the results were received). The internal appearance of the office was nice also. I was a few minutes late for my appintment and the receptionist was still very polite. Actually Everyone i met was extremely polite. If this is the kind of service that I will continue to receive, I will keep this office for my gyn needs.

Dr. Delcharco, Dr. Kaufman were great, very kind and made me feel more relaxed at the moment of my surgery. Desire, was great too.

I LOVE this office. Stephanie is seriously so sweet and cares so much! Dr. Delcharco is awesome too! I live in Inverness and drive to their office which is about 45 minutes for me and it’s 100% worth the drive. Wouldn’t want to put myself and my baby in anyone else’s care!

Had an appointment with Meagan at Dr. delCharcos office today, was treated with special care and courteous people, from the waiting room to the exam room. Felt comfortable during the internal exam, was never in pain. Can not say that about all of the vaginal exams I have had..

Really friendly staff. Dr. DelCharco took time to talk to me and explain things. I was so pleased that I am switching to him permanently. My first visit was a referral from another Physician.

I have loved this practice since I first walked in the door. Dr Delcharco has been the best physician ever (and believe me) Ive been to many other drs. The medical assistants are caring and so are the physicians assistants. I WILL NOT go to anyone else.

Me, my mom, my nephew, and my moms friend went. I stayed home from school because a family member recently passed and I cant be home alone with my nephew. So we all went. My mom went back with her friend and I stayed up with My nephew. All was going perfectly fine until my mom came back. We sat and talked, and giggled for a little. A lady came back to us and said we have to leave because no kids are aloud. But when we came in they didnt say anything to any of us about no kids. We were minding our own business. My nephew didnt touch anything but his toys.im never going again. This is the worst Ive ever been treated. And to treat my nephew like this, its a terrible idea to have a place for women who are pregnant to not be aloud to have kids they might have.

I arrived at my appointment time, waited 5 mins to be checked in, then i was asked if I did the online check in and I said no I was then told that I cannot be seen because I was late. I was told to come back at a different time and i mentioned I got a secondary insurance which is new to me and then they said they cant see me at all because they dont accept my secondary insurance and using my primary insurance alone is not an option. I just waisted an hour and did not get seen. Very disappointed. I feel like they kept making excuses for me not to be seen.

I switched to Dr. Delcharco due to a bad experience with another OB/GYN. I have never looked back. From the front staff to checkout, it has always been pleasant. Youre greeted warmly, with smiles, and both Stephanie and Dr. Delcharco really listen to you and explain everything. Communication is great. Appointment reminders by text and email. You really cant go wrong! And trust me, I know wrong.

Dr DelCharco was very good. We are trying an option of a pill. I was very satisfied and pray the pill will be helpful. He also gave me a follow-up visit to check how I am doing which made me feel more secure.

I cant understand how anyone here writes outstanding care, they must have gotten paid to or are related in some ways either by work, friend, or family, because I dont see it.How can a doctor whos field is to take care of his pregnant patients make a pregnant mother reschedule because she was ten minutes late, knowing that shes shown up with severe pain on her side and is thirty+ weeks already and has a little child with her? For ten minutes!? Dont we wait much longer than that even with an appointment when we get there? And to say that she needs an ultrasound, meanwhile they reschedule her appointment for a date where they cant do the ultrasound? Doesnt sound like a place that truly cares to me.

Dr. Delcharco and staff started seeing me when i was 5 weeks pregnant, which is not there norm. However, due to some complications i thought i was having, they took me in with a referral of course. Since than the staff has been wonderful insuring the best care for my child and I!! I recommend Dr. Delcharco to anyone who is looking for an OB/GYN. I am a little frustrated w this office right now, I called because I just fund out I am expecting, I work for a Doctors office and my own doctor/boss recommended Dr. Delcharco and I called the office and the receptionist told me they will not accept new pts until after ending of January and that I should wait and call back around that time. I was like ok??? I should waith almost two month not knowing if everything is ok. I do not think that is professional to tell me to call back in two month, specially when it comes to a pregnancy. So sad because I really wanted to be a pt in this office but I was turned away.

It was aweful, I work for my primary physician and he has a lot of expectations from me and how to treat patients, I did not receive the same care. I didnt want to discuss what was happening to me gynecology to my primary so I went here I was treated as number no one would give me the time of day to say how concerned I was or discuss with me other options for my US. The check out ppl were terribly rude, again I was only a number. I had to go back to my boss and tell him I need this and this because no one would talk to me at del charcos office at my visit. I respectfully faxed over the results to his office received a phone call of information I already knew and was told if I wanna see del charco himself I can. Sincerely Number

If I could leave a ZERO review I would. My wife was just berated a by a staff member today and told that what her medical history was is not what they were aware of. I guess doctors and nurses dont read medical files anymore. This office is more concerned about payment then trying to help a patient, even if we are a financially solvent family that can pay their bills and have medical insurance. I will be finding out names and positions, since I will be retaining a lawyer and looking into legal action against such a horribly run doctors office. No patient or human being deserves to be treated as such. They need to reread and understand the Hippocratic Oath.

Brittnie Sanders us very knowledgeable about womens health. She has given me good advice and I would recommend her for any age patient.

Such excellent service always provided. I love my midwife, she answers all my questions and makes me feel super comfortable . Dr. Delcharco is excellent as well but I see more of my midwife, which is more than ok with me !

The office manager of this place is one of the rudest people I’ve ever met. Her staff made an insurance mistake that costs hundreds if not thousands and then proceeded to blame us for it while being totoally rude and unprofessional. Great doctor, not good staff…
