Dr Shumate took plenty of time to listen, answered my questions, was respectful and gentle. Staff was excellent. Most relaxing Gyn visit ever!

I have never felt so cared for by a doctor and their team. Jen is the most caring assistant and Dr. Shumate really listened to my concerns. I would recommend anyone to come here.

I was a patient who was offered a position as the receptionist. When I consider my experience as a patient , from both doctors, and my experience as their receptionist, they are the same quality. A solid 2/5. I also quit ,with notice, and was not let go.

I loved Tami. I was with this office 18 months. I guess Tami left at some point but patients werent informed. I found out 8 weeks later because it was on Facebook.When I told them a letter would have been nice, I was kicked out of the practice.I have no one to monitor the blood clots in my lungs or help with any medical issues

Best experience I have ever had with a doctor, hands down.Dr. Shumate takes the time to listen to your concerns, I mean ACTUALLY listen. Then he comes up with a compassionate, unintrusive, and knowledgeable plan to approach your specific needs. If you are tired of big healthcare do yourself the favor and switch to Integrity. The name says it all.

Dr. Shumate and his assistant, Jen, made me feel so comfortable. It was so refreshing to have an understanding provider. Thank you for taking great care of me!

There are not enough stars... Had my first appointment with Tami Martin yesterday and she was so kind and compassionate and had a great sense of humor. I usually have some degree of white coat syndrome but immediately felt at ease and like I was visiting with a friend. I felt heard and understood- this is how all physicians should treat patients. Ruth scheduled my appointment, answered questions for me, and was patient and friendly. Honestly cant recommend them highly enough.

Ive never felt so heard at any doctors the way I felt heard here! From the moment I walked through the door my whole experience was everything one would hope for in finding a safe space to openly speak about your health issues. I left feeling like I was listened to, I was heard, my health concerns were valid and I felt good about my plan for action. What a wonderful experience. You guys are really doing great things.

Never answer their phone. Left message and they never call back. If you don’t have a reception person, hire one! I am hesitant to become a new patient here if you don’t answer the phone or call people back.

Best experience I have had for primary care. Tammy was beyond understanding and compassionate. The medical assistant was also great. Highly recommend.

Good vibes, lovely people. Wish there was music or something to listen to while you wait. I felt welcome and heard and would recommend this place to other lgbtq folks

The doctors and staff at Integrity are just so wonderful to be around. They were very considerate of my past experiences with other health care facilities and really took the time to understand my health history to make sure they came up with a plan to do what’s really the best for me. I was able to make my appointments and get in within a very reasonable time frame that suited my work schedule and even was able to be seen with a more urgent matter the same day. I am so glad there is finally a place I can go in the area that I truly can trust my health provider!

Dr. Shumate is absolutely amazing. From the moment he stepped in the room I felt completely comfortable and had no worries. Hes very professional and keeps you laughing all at the same time. I highly recommend his office to everyone!

I love the welcoming aura when you first walk in. Jenn is so nice, welcoming and real! She makes you comfortable the second you walk in. You feel like you are a part of the family immediately. Tami is amazing! She listens to you, your needs and wants. She isnt the normal provider. She is even better! She is very personable, loving and kind.

Having been to dozens offices all over CA & NY, I cannot say enough great things about Integrity Coastal Health and Wellness Center! The incredible people there are not just LGBTQIA* friendly…they are amazingly inclusive and welcoming! I have never felt so calm and HEARD! The staff there didn’t just listen to my list of health problems, they HEARD ME! If they weren’t sure about an issue, they stayed with me and we discussed it until it had an answer. I have never felt so seen AND heard from ANY doctors office! I am so very grateful that they are here!!

My PC left and no one told me for over a month, leaving me with no doctor, no one to fill prescriptions. I was just left in the cold with no one to care. Seriously, is this how they practice medicine? Run away!

I felt at home in this clinic. The receptionist, nurse and provider treated me with such respect and patience. I felt like I was truly heard and that I mattered. Tami FNP is the best provider I’ve ever had. Never retire!

Had my first visit with Dr. Shumate and his staff today. Absolutely wonderful…everyone, Jen, Ruth and Tammy, were all amazing! I am so thankful and I feel the community is so fortunate to have these providers and staff available to us!

Tami Martin is a very outgoing and easy to talk to. She actually listened to my needs and addressed them. Definitely would recommend her as a primary. Her receptionist is very personable and welcoming as well. Best initial doctors appointment Ive had.

I am always nervous going to get medically checked out but they made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Jen was very helpful and understanding getting me checked in and Tami was so friendly and professional. Would highly recommend!

Had to find a new clinic last year. The Medical Assistant Mrs. Ledbury was very helpful. When she told me that Tami was there I jumped on the chance. Always liked having Tami as my primary at the other clinic. Quit frankly those two ladies may have saved my life, literally.

Tammy was very personable, listened to what I was hoping to get out of my visit. This was our first meeting, so not a lot to go on. Because of the cost of my insurance ... I had to leave Dr. Lehrer, my PCP for 30 years, whom I adored. I will be comparing her care to the quality care I received from him.

It was refreshing to have medical personnel listen to my concerns and not brush me off. The physical I had was more in-depth than any I have had from Samaritan and I feel secure in knowing I found a competent and caring practice. Wonderful staff!

I have massive white coat syndrome but whenever I walk into integrity coastal health and wellness I feel like Im just stopping by to see some friends. Ruth Jen and Tami make me feel at home and safe. If you need a medical professional who lets you know that you are cared-for, consider Integrity.

My primary moved and ended up finding Tami Martin. I always dread the initial meet and lets go over what you need and always feel so judged by the end of it. NOT THE CASE WITH TAMI AND JEN! I have never felt so comfortable on a first meet getting all my stuff transfered and talking about the concerns I have at the moment. They are so easy to talk to and actually listen to what I have to say about how I feel. I left feeling relieved that I was being listened to and not that feeling that Im silently being judged or that I dont actually hurt. They are a breath of fresh air compared to other providers.

I received excellent care from reception--> MA-->provider and highly recommend Integrity Coastal Health and Wellness if you want to receive care where they can spend quality time, listen, and answer questions with no rush and your input in your medical care is valued!

Had an annual exam in January 2021 which I had been putting off due to the pandemic. Once I arrived, I felt very safe and comfortable with all the precautions they are taking especially with concern over Covid. Both Dr. Shumate and Jennifer Ledbury were amazing, thorough, kind and took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. I have been a patient of Dr. Shumate for years and have always appreciated his friendly attitude and ability to put you at ease while still being extremely professional. This was my first time seeing Dr. Shumate since he opened Integrity Womens Health and I would strongly recommend! He is an amazing doctor, Jennifer was awesome and the new office is great!

Seriously, this was the BEST experience Ive had at a Drs office.(seen for Gen Prac & ObGyn care by Nurse Practitioner Tammy) The staff of this small, welcoming, inclusive medical clinic is just EXCELLENT- devoted, warm, upbeat, understanding.The respect & consideration I received was so reassuring, I immediately was put at ease, despite my C-PTSD, & medical history w/ far too many experiences not receiving the care I shouldve. This kind of compassion is sorely needed in other practices- Integrity Health is an oasis in the desert that is the U.S. health care system. As a Medicaid/OHP patient, Ive had experiences elsewhere being brushed off & talked down to - my time not respected, my opinion invalidated, my trust abused, & my well being neglected. Im so grateful to have found such committed health care professionals, & All around incredible ppl... Legit LOOKING FORWARD TO MY NEXT APPT! Like, WTH? Didnt know that was possible!
