Local MD Urgent Care Naperville

Went in for what I thought was strep. I had white patches behind my tonsils with a sore throat. They took swabs and tested negative for strep. I’m waiting for lab results. I could have sworn the nurse swabbed one with the stick end instead of the swab side. I should have asked. The doctor did a nice job explaining that he didn’t think I had strep due to my symptoms. He gave me steroids in office (which I have never had before) to ease my symptoms. That really helped me feel better and was a good call. He also recommended a script for pain and swelling. I’m just going to take Advil. He wrote a script for antibiotics. I’m holding off due to his recommendation and waiting for results to see if there is a bacterial infection. Not worth it to take antibiotics if this is a virus, like he believes. He listened closely and gave good advice. I’d return.

I got a horrible friction burn that was freaking me out, because I thought it was getting worse and was very painful. I came in and was seen within 5 min! The PA was very knowledgeable about my injury type, helped soothe my concerns and taught me what to look for. He sent me home with enough antibiotic ointment to last through the week.Edit: I also REALLY appreciate that the MA and PA both wore masks when seeing me, without me asking!!

Website clearly indicated the ability to get X-Rays. No X-Ray machine is onsite in the Naperville clinic. Only the Homewood clinic has an onsite X-Ray machine and that one is not open on the weekend. Kindly fix your website to only show the services you provide at a given location and on a given date and time.

Quick, easy, quality service. Listened, great bedside manner, felt issues were addressed extremely well. Nice doctor and nice admins. Update: second time here, and just as great of service to my 8yo who was diagnosed with an ear infection. Quick availability is awesome, and admin and nurse practitioner the best! Especially love the paperwork at the end so I dont have to remember things like at the pediatrician I used to go to. Very thorough job - thanks guys!

Dr. Crystal and Dr. Michael are the BEST. They are both so down to earth, and they genuinely listen and care about their patients. The medical advice is always sound, and the facility is always spotless. Im in and out in a flash too; Ive never had to wait around for 30-45 minutes to be seen. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Medical assistant and Doctor were both pleasant, no wait if you filled out your info online. For an out of towner, I was very satisfied with the care I received.

My son hit his head and needed stitches. They were able to glue it instead, saving the shot and needle, especially for a 6 yr old. Overall, the process was smooth and fast. Best experience in an urgent care ever!

The staff and doctor were so nice and welcoming! The check in was paperless and I could do it all from my phone. The wait area and facilities were clean and there was no wait time! I was driving past and decided to check them out and was so happy I did!For back to school physicals they have the best prices in the area! My family and I will definitely be back.

The front staff and nurses were so sweet and kind today. They were efficient and caring. I loved the nurse practitioner - she was a doll. I will def be back to this location if I need an urgent visit on a weekend. Thanks guys! Kayla Kruger

Everyone from the person at the front desk to the provider was incredibly welcoming and friendly. The provider Mike was great and went above and beyond to make sure he could help me to his fullest extent. He did more for me than the Doctor I’ve gone to for nearly my entire life has! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone.

I am quite new to the area & was looking for assistance with me having strep throat. I came across the Local MD Urgent Care in Naperville, and visited. The care quality, knowledge, assistance, and information provided was an abundance of help. I was greeted by all employees. Trisha was very very patient with me and fast! Crystal was my nurse practitioner who also was such a great help in providing me information and careful instructions. 10/10 experience to where I even forgot I had strep :).

Took my whole family here because we were all ill and They were very professional and very patient with Us and our children(who are very afraid of doctors/nurses). They make sure to ask all the important questions and do all the necessary tests. I definitely recommend coming here if you are in need of non life threatening medical attention.

Mike was a great help. Worked efficiently and gave me instant relief. Also got my prescription sent to the pharmacy asap. He also followed up the following day to check on how I was recovering. Fantastic service and will be my first stop if urgent care is needed in the future.Thank you

My daughter had been sick for 6 weeks!! After MANY stressful (and sleepless) nights, we decided to try a 4th doctor here at Local MD and we are incredibly glad we did. Dr. Melissa was compassionate, empathetic, kind and gentle and listened to all of our concerns. Not only did she have amazing bedside manner, but she actually treated my daughter and offered follow up calls and visits to ensure she was finally on the path to recovery. We will now be making her our primary care physician. We are very grateful for finding this place and provider!

I had a great experience here! I needed stitches after cutting my finger pretty badly. I came in and was immediately helped and taken back. I’m so glad I found this place instead of going to the ER. They’re well equipped and everyone is so friendly! I’ll definitely be back for other injuries or illnesses!

Got an immediate appointment today with no wait. Was in and out quickly. Super friendly intake with Derek. Dr Mike explained everything clearly.I already had the Solv app, so all the paperwork was in there- that cut out all the normal forms

This place is great! The provider, Mike actually truly cares about your health and the outcome of your visit. So often urgent care facilities treat you like a number rather than take the time to listen and care. This guy is a winner.
