Planned Parenthood - Mount Vernon Health Center

Whoever checks insurance coverage at this location got something totally wrong. I was quoted $910 out of pocket for an office visit plus various routine screenings, since they said they wouldnt accept my insurance. I declined, drove home, called my insurance and verified this location should have accepted my coverage. I later scheduled at the Bellingham location and they accepted my insurance no problem. Frustrating.

I love this location, the staff has always made me feel welcomed and are so kind. I feel my safety is their top priority here. They are very attentive and listen very well, and let me dictate what i do with my body. I recommend any teen, young woman, or older women to come here.

Outstanding! The receptionist, nurse, and doctor were perfect. They made me feel welcome, safe, and listened to. I got a year supply of the exact birth control I asked for.

Very nice place. Staff were very friendly, cared about confidentiality, and provided me free birth control in a pinch. I don’t know why there’s any low reviews on this place, they seem to be from a while ago. Old staff maybe? Anyways, going here was better than any other clinic. The people here know what they’re talking about, and care about you as a person and your health, not how much money they can get in their pockets.

Scheduled a very needed appointment and when I arrived, they said they had nothing scheduled under my name or anytbing similar. I showed the appointment reminder I received and they treated me like I was lying even with everything being dated and timed. The staff was rude and made me feel unwelcome.

Great location with an attentive careteam. Tons of parking. Be prepared for protesters screaming in your faceWE LOVE YOU AND YOUR BABYAll I could do was laugh as I am no longer of child bearing age.I will return to this location regardless of the crazy protesters.

Horrible!!!! I have been here about 3-4 times and never have a good experience. My last appointment was supposed to be back in June and they literally called me 1 minute before they closed to tell me there would be no one at that location even know I had an appt scheduled 3 months prior. I had to go all the way to Bellingham and that was not a good experience either. Mount Vernon never had me fill out, initial or sign anything for my bc. Bellingham did. They dont know what they are doing. I will not ever go back.

If you a positive and polite person anywhere you go, you will be treated with respect. I made an appointment was well treated and got a reminder call for my appointment. Planed parenthood is very welcome and warming place and good stuff and doctors.

Super disappointed in them latlely. I’ve been going a couple years here now. Just switched over to a different doctors office after my last visit. I went in to pick up three months supply of birth control and it took them 30min to get it ready. The worst part is the ladies at the front the usually grab the BC and do the paperwork we’re sitting on there phones and chatting away. After twenty minutes of that they finally decided to grab my birth control for me. So disappointed in the staff at the front. I would pay the extra gas money to head to the Bellingham one.

I went in 3 times to get checked since I was having symptoms after having unprotected oral sex and the provider I had named Debbie Owens was the worst I have ever experienced. She was insistent that the symptoms I had were all normal And would give me nothing to treat my symptoms and when she did it was for something else I didnt have any symptoms of. This is the worst place and I recommend people to go elsewhere since they will waste your time and money.

I chose to go to a different location after speaking with the front office staff. They are short spoken and come off like theyre trying to avoid helping any way they can. Its worth the drive up to Bellingham to feel a sense of respect and concern about quality of care.

I usually go to them for everything but the doctor said she would send me to a gynocologist to get better answers on why I get UTIs so often and she never sent me to one also when I get tested for STDs I never get my results back but as soon as I mention Birthcontrol they are right on it. I feel like they never meet my needs only when it comes to birthcontrol my needs are meet. Im honeslty probably just going to go to the hospital and ask for them to send me to a gynocologist. Not a happy customer anymore.

When I ask for questions they always have an answer so far all my appointments have been easy and quick and making them is even easier they also are super nice and try to make me feel as comfortable as they can

Scheduled an appt. called to confirm and was told I didn’t have an appt. rescheduled appt, showed up and was told I didn’t have an appt and that I would have to sit around and wait to see if someone no showed for their appt so they could squeez me in. 😡 They need to get their system fixed or find someone else to schedule customer appointments correctly.

The staff here are so friendly! Ive had better experiences here than at other womens clinics in the area.

Poor bedside manners. Tried to push birth control and the morning after pill and that is not why I was there.

Extremely slow and Debbie is always insistant Im fine and my symptoms are just period symptoms.

The girls are always so nice and always do what they can to help! I’ve been going here for 6 plus years

This place never answers their phone. Even at 7:30 in the morning, what a joke.
