I had a great visit with Krista and Pam. They were both great handling my infant child. They were both extremely helpful and supportive. They both explained things in depth and I really feel like they both went above and beyond for my sick child and my family . Thanks again!

Hands down the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever experienced. HE WAS DRIVING and on video via telehealth for my appointment. He was distracted and the reception was cutting in and out so the assistant needed to call him on the phone to hear. No one physically examined me for the symptoms I came in for, nor did they use their cameras to view my ear or sinuses since he “was driving”. He still prescribed amoxicillin for me (which I won’t pick up because no one actually confirmed I have an ear infection). Highly do not recommend.

I was at a conference at Mt. Vernon University, 4 hours from my home when I developed a medical issue that needed some immediate care. I found Family Urgent Care and could not have been more pleased with the care I received. When I walked in, I was greeted very warmly, explained my situation, and after the needed paperwork was done, only waited about 10 minutes before the provider took me back to the exam room. Doug (CRNP) listened, diagnosed, and prescribed the needed treatment with utmost efficiency and caring. I truly appreciated the care I received here and would recommend this site to anyone who needs Urgent Care. Thank-you so much.

Theyve given the place an update much nicer interior theyve really spruced the place up still in n out quick fast and easy. Definitely recommend!!!

I normally dont leave reviews often, but this one is well deserved. I am a new resident to Mt Vernon.. no PCP yet established. Ive been feeling very poorly with the yucks for a week... Decided enough was enough. Although the location may not appear from the outside as glamorous, the staff and the service are amazing. I was seen very quickly, unlike any other medical provider in todays world. Also, the entire team was so friendly and just made me feel welcomed. The NP was amazing. He listened to my concerns, did an exam, talked more then made what I feel was the best care choices for my condition. All of this was done in less than 30 mins from walking in to walking out. Literally the best experience Ive had in the last 10+ years going to urgent care centers and PCP providers. Thank you guys so much for the amazing service and care! Its great knowing this resource is available in our community.

Two days in a row I showed up during there posted business hours and they are closed. Not on lunch or anything. Yesterday I showed up in the morning and the afternoon still closed. No sign or anything saying they would be closed for x reason.

I felt save and listened to and comfortable the lady was very kind

My friend went to this urgent care and it was horrible. We waited an hour for a 2 minute inspection, and even that examination happened over zoom and not in person. During the appointment, the doctor relayed inaccurate information, saying that fungal infections are not supposed to hurt. Not only that, he was scrolling through his phone during the already extremely brief appointment. He prescribed three different medications for my friend’s condition. Lastly, there was only one employee operating the whole facility. Never coming back here again.

Honestly one of the best urgent care in town they are fast and friendly with patients and always help they are a true good people.

I have been going to this urgent care for quite a few years, and everytime i’ve went they have addressed my problems and resolved them that same day, the staff is very friendly and competent

I have had nothing but excellent experiences when requiring their services. Its never fun having to visit an urgent care facility, but theyre always great with their patients, and I almost forget how much things currently suck (I AM sitting in urgent care after all) because theyre such a pleasure to work with.Specifically, Ashley is the greatest! That woman deserves some recognition for the care she delivers.Unfortunately Ive had to seek out urgent care a few times in the last couple years, and ever since my first visit, Ive made sure this is the only location I go to when in need.

Went in for a cdl physical. Every one was friendly and professional.

Would give less than a zero if a I could. I had to go to another urgent care due to a Galion cist the dr could take care of due to him not knowing what he was doing. Not impressed will never go back and will never recommend. The dr is a quack. I have never had high blood pressure in my entire life and he said that my BP was high, went to a different place right down the road I was fine. Oh and to add to the irresponsible he left my needle wond completely open with nothing to cover it after so not very sanitary. Would even go to this place for a band-aid. Stay away from this place!!!

I went for my dot physical and it went very smooth, nice clean office and the 2 lovely ladies that were working went above and beyond for the people that were coming in to be seen. They were 2 of the most caring, compassionate and friendly nurses I have seen, very polite and professional, it makes the visit easier. I will definitely be going back when I need to be seen. If you are a family dr as well, I know where Ill be going from now on. Thank you for everything you do.

The staff had the best bedside mannerisms i have ever experienced! the facility was very clean, and a calming environment. They immediately took me back and were able to perform testing Ive never had offered in office, let alone the results read and explained to me by the actual doctor in a matter of minutes!... Best care i have ever been offered in knox county by far!

Sat here for over 10 minutes before someone came to the front desk. If you only have 1-2 people working here you need more staff!

Fast Clean and Friendly. This was the best experience I have had in an Urgent Care. Needed a PCR for Travel & they completed in 30 minutes. The doctor was willing to address all my concerns & explain everything clearly.WONDERFUL Place.

They were 10mins late opening, got there late and was cleaning before opening. I took my little siblings there to be seen for the same symptoms. The doctor only did a throat culture on one of them. She went to put in a tube and lost the cap in the trash. She was gonna get it outta the trash instead she got a different lid. She did not seem to know what she was doing. Didnt even prescribe them the right medication. 🙄 She seem like a great person but I dont think she knew what she was doing. I dont recommend this place.

I called to see if they were still seeing patients and if my husband could come in for a covid test (some urgent cares are taking appointments only)- they said yes. They close at 8. My husband got to the location at 7:30. The open sign was turned off and the staff was beyond rude when my husband went inside. He told them that I called in and the gentleman working the front said “ugh- fill out this paperwork “. Not to mention the placed looked far from a descent medical establishment. He was treated as if he was inconveniencing everyone while he was there. Not to mention the doctor seemed to have trouble reading the rapid test results 😆 Basically leaving my husband with “yeah I’m pretty sure you’re negative”. This place needs some descent staffing.

Terrible place to go. They made us wait an hour and tried to scam us so they could charge a visit and only then told us they dont even have an xray. What an utterly unconscionable thing to scam medical patients who are in pain and need urgent care.Now claiming Ive left a fraudulent claim, violating privacy laws. The family account is not for you to check in your records. Absolutely horrific ethics from this place.

I visited this place for a rapid covid test. Do not waste your time here. There is no distancing in the waiting room, and staff either dont wear a mask or wear it incorrectly. There were at least 10 people in the waiting area, covid patients not separated from everyone else. The only reason this place gets one star is because of the nurse. He runs around holding the place together. The nurse practitioner couldnt keep her head in the game at all, and its been 8 days since Ive been tested and my results still have not been sent to the health dept so I can get a return to work date. I called four times and the office staff never sent it over, despite working five hours overtime to get results faxed over. Guess who sent it, the nurse! Dont waste your time. Get a self test from the health department.

I had a great experience at Mt Vernon urgent care. I had very fast service and I felt welcome right as I entered. Very kind workers, and clean facility. Being from out of town i was scared of the ohio healthcare but now i will be returning. i have never had such great service before now, i recommend anyone who needs urgent care to go here.The covid testing facility is also very fast paced and i thoroughly enjoyed even though covid is bad

It was a great place! It was very clean, and the staff were amazing! Quick service too! Went there for Covid-19 testing for my son and they were very quick with the results! Unfortunately, he did have Covid, so we’re pretty bummed out about that. ☹️ Regardless, thank you for your amazing service, I 100% reccomend! 😊

The staff was great during my visit yesterday. I felt awful because of the respiratory hell that was going around. The Dr was excellent and very kind. She prescribed the right medicine for what was making me ill. Thanks again to the staff there and should I need their services again I will return. God bless you 💖💖 💖

Ive been suffering for years and this is the first place to really help me. The weekend physician wasnt incredibly knowledgeable but Ashley the medical assistance picked up his slack and then some. Week day physicians were wonderful. I think they saved me from more years of suffering. Thank you guys!!!

I took my son in for an ear infection. While in the waiting room they asked another patient if she had been around anyone with the Corona virus or had any symptoms. She answered yes to both. They didnt move her to another room or secluded area. She just sat there in the waiting room with us. When she got up to be seen, they didnt wipe her chair or area down.When they took us back there wasnt a doctor, he was called for a video chat, but he wasnt on the camera. All I saw was the walls and floor of where ever he was. They didnt weigh my son and so when the medicine was prescribed it was half the dose of what it should have been. I had no idea and the infection continued to get worse until I ended up taking him to another doctor who prescribed him the correct dosage.As a medical facility you trust them to take care of you. I feel we were actually in more harm after our visit here & I wont be going back.

Trying to get our results for covid test was like trying amputate my leg with a spoon. 24 hou test took almost 36 hours and when we did get the results I was treated like they were annoyed and an inconvenience. Told me I was neg when I took 2 other test thats were positive. I will never go back to that urgent care.

Staff were extremely friendly and the doctor empathized with me beautifully and made me feel so good. No one acted even slightly annoyed with my screaming, crying 2 year old. 100% will go back next time we are sick.

I was there last Thurs. Waited 3 hours. They did a swab on me. They said theyd call me with results Monday or Tues. Here it is Tues evening. I managed to get ahold of the receptionist once. She said shed email me my results. Its 7:09 p.m still no email and Ive been calling since 5:00 and no-one has answered the phone now.

This was such a great experience I had with them Everyone was super nice and the Doctor was just AMAZING!!!! Such a sweet nice guy I was seen within 10 mins and was done within 40 mons all together just such a great place if you need to be seen I suggest this place

New nurse practitioner had no mask.i was there 2 days ago around 2pm. She didnt keep safe distance. In the hallway on my way out,from seeing her, she approaches me to listen to my heart and lungs .!! I was diagnosed with a yeast infection. Id rate this place a zero. Especially for non compliance of our state for her to wear a mask, putting my life at risk!

Refused to issue a covid test even though they are blanket covered by the government. When I pointed it out and even showed them the executive order they still refused and never even apologized. My prior experience was just as bad: They asked me to sit down next to other patients even though I explained I had been exposed to covid, then 30 minutes later they moved me into a room and waited a further 3 hours and 30 minutes (11 a.m. I went into the room) before the np came in (2:30 p.m.), asked me three questions, gave me a prescription that was unrelated and sent me away.The lack of professionalism here (as demonstrated by their immature responses to critics on this site) stuns me. I cant believe theyre still in business.

I wish this was a regular family doctor. We love this urgent care! They seem to be the only doctors and nurses that actually care and take time for my family. Theyre almost always super quick as well! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Avoid this place at all costs. They are obviously short staffed and very unprofessional. The “doctor” who “signed off” on my chart I met VIA FaceTime from an assistant’s cell phone. I am waiting for results and have called 4 times with no answer. At least give an option to leave a voicemail? I will never be back.

One of the best urgent care near clean and professionally taken care doctor is very nice you don’t have to wait long and all staff is very friendly and helpful my visit was very satisfying.

Horrible service closed an hour early without warning shut the lights out as we walked up.If you want to service your customers then why did you shut down early?

My husband went in for a COVID test and witnessed a guy who works the front desk on his cell phone ignored one patient wondering where the pens were and a veteran has been waiting at the counter for 10 plus min to turn in his paper work seriously if 0 stars were available that’s what I would give you don’t ignore your patients you are supposed to provide care no sit on your rear and ignore every come one you guys are ridiculous

Was quick and easy. In for a renewal and it was amazing how quick and nice all the staff members were.

Our first experience took 4 hours to get a card and today nobody is here at 10:15. Saturday hours say 10-6pm..?? Very unorganized. Not happy.

Went in for a drug screen and was there for about 3 hours ..and to make a long story short it’s just very unprofessional and I don’t even see how they stay open …
