Planned Parenthood - Richfield Health Center

I had a good experience on my 1st visit and decided to book with this location for another service. However, my 2nd visit was a complete waste. I had two appointments scheduled at separate locations (same day) and canceled the appointment I didn’t want weeks ahead of time. I kept my appointment active at this location and even received updates that it was active. I went to my appointment and was informed that both were canceled and they couldn’t give me a legitimate reason as to why it mysteriously canceled. No one called me and informed me they would cancel my only active appointment, and give my spot away. Please be more communicative and let your patients know if you’re canceling on them unannounced. Now I have to wait weeks to get another appointment at a different location.

Really nice people, clean area, the only problem is scheduling. I’ve been going here a couple years now and sometimes they’ll be overbooked or they have no one to see me at my scheduled time. Those are the only down sides that become hassles. Otherwise I’ve been in an out pretty quick for my birth control and havent had any other problems!

I’ve been here before and it’s a great clinic like any other but the last THREE times I’ve made an appointment here I pull up, park, only to find out everyone’s appointments have been cancelled last minute without warning. Thanks for nothing after having to book ahead weeks in advance. Go to the Lagoon Ave. location in Minneapolis. They seem to always have openings available the same day.

I had my IUD removed here today and it went so smoothly. I had it inserted somewhere else and the experience was honestly traumatizing- it was very painful and triggered a fainting response, and the doctor there couldnt have cared less. Needless to say I went into this visit very nervous, but PP was amazing. They gave me some advice on what to do ahead of time to reduce the potential for a reaction. During the procedure, the doctor went slow and talked me through the whole thing, checking on me regularly. I didnt have any reaction this time, and while it definitely wasnt the most fun part of my day, they made it manageable. I so appreciate PP and all they do.

All of the nurses and receptionists were so helpful and friendly! Im a big supporter of planned parenthood so I was sort of excited when I got the opportunity to go to one! The only issue I had was when the actual Doctor came in. Her attitude toward me was very condescending and made me feel very self conscious of myself and my life style. Planned parenthood is a place where people should feel comfortable and safe and that is the exact opposite of how she made me feel. I will most likely return but only at the request of a different doctor...

This was my first time visiting the Richfield planned parenthood, and I absolutely LOVED it. The staff was incredibly friendly throughout my visit. Doctor Gina was very attentive to my needs and got me on the correct medication. I will 100% be returning here and referring all my family members and friends!Thanks for making my visit a great one!

Amazing experience at the Richfield - Planned Parenthood Clinic. All of the staff were so nice and helpful- the receptionist, nurse and doctor. This was my first time at this clinic, I felt very comfortable during my whole visit and am so thankful for my experience. I will be recommending this clinic to friends and family!

The staff at this clinic are so kind. The doctor was relatable, kind, talkative and I never felt uncomfortable to talk to her. The reception staff I worked with were amazing at helping me navigate payment options and figure out what is best for me. Unless I move out of the msp surrounding areas, I will use this clinic for all my reproductive health needs.

I love planned parenthood and support everything they do. Ive always had amazing experiences at multiple locations.Although I had a great expierence during my visit at this specific location, I was ill and was misdiagnosed SEVERELY. I wasnt treated for the correct symptoms and was never followed up with my doctor even though I shouldve been. I didnt even receive my test results - I had to call two weeks after my appointment. Leading me to dealing with an issue for over a month with no help or direction.Very very disappointing. I do not recommend if you have a serious issue.

Unfortunately they are so short staffed that I was left in a room for 45 minutes alone just for a blood draw. Nurse just blamed it on them being short staffed, I had to leave for another appointment that I missed and had to pay $165 for a NO SHOW because of it. Sad I can’t support this organization anymore

I had a appointment this morning. I loved it! The staff was very helpful in me finding a new contraceptive, im very pleased in the service and the staff is amazing.i was in and out within an hour.i highly recommend.I will return. Thanks ladies.

I had such a great experience. The nurses and doctors were very open and attentive, they really helped me out. I would highly recommend going here for any female reproductive health care.

I had the best care by EVERYONE I encountered while here !!! They explained everything and asked for my consent on everything !!! 12/10 !!!

Always ridiculously slow

I’m not a big supporter of Planned Parenthood but I am grateful for their service when others fell short in providing. I needed a test ASAP for my Marine Corps recruiter. Mayo Clinic needed a referral and CVS needed a week to get me results. Planned Parenthood took me in as a walk-in patient and got me the results the same day. In other scenarios I can imagine that people would be better off getting results sooner than later and Planned Parenthood seems is the most efficient. I’m greatly appreciative for the help

I love that they can assist you in Spanish and English... very attentive and good service.
