Planned Parenthood - Milwaukee- Water Street Health Center

Dr king and Nurse Sharon were absolutely wonderful. I hope I got the nurses name right because she was phenomenal. She went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I had to get some preventative care done which was super nerve wracking. I was very anxious walking in since this has been a few years in the works… getting test after test to see if I needed to move to the next step (which was today). Everyone that I spoke to was super friendly. They helped calm my nerves. They offered snacks / blankets / juice. The establishment is also very clean & has amazing local art displayed. Planned Parenthood will always get my respect. They do amazing work for the community and those who may not have access to healthcare. The staff and services they provide are apples to apples that of a private practice. This location is prone to protesters but they are non aggressive (at least in my experiences). You can choose to just go around them when you leave or have someone from the staff walk you out to your car. Thank you for the help today. With the risk of cervical / breast cancer being so high today in younger adults… I’m very grateful this place exists.

Recently had a vasectomy here and the staff was amazing. Everything went smooth and easy and they handled all the paperwork for me. I wish every medical appointment I had was like my experience here. Honestly was less painful than some dental appointments Ive had. Would absolutely recommend this place if you are in need of their services.

Such lovely people at this location! this was my first ever time at planned parenthood. they helped with my IUD and were so kind and conversational, even through intense physical pain i was in a good mood! thank you so much for making this a wonderful experience.

They were very rude over the phone the last few times I called recently. Dismissive and disinterested. They refused to schedule any appointments for me, refused to offer any information about my reason for scheduling, told me they were booked out for months and that I needed to look at everything online. Unfortunately the website doesn’t have the option to schedule an appointment for what I need, but despite them telling me they couldn’t even schedule me for a basic checkup/consultation, their schedule for basic appointments was wide open online. Even next-day appointments were open for several times. I have had great experiences with planned parenthood at different locations in the past and this was a really bad first impression of this location so I will go somewhere else.

Everyone from the receptionists to the physicians were extremely professional and empathetic with their patients. Especially Carla, she made my whole experience so comfortable. Highly recommend!

I am so grateful for everyone who was working last holiday season - you made my experience one of ease and calm, and you all did it with such care. Thank you for everything.

Friendliest group of people I have met at planned parenthood. I was redirected to this location that I never have been to before and I appreciated how kind and helpful the staff was
