All staff was very professional. Got my iud remove in minutes. The place was clean and I’m so glad they still have clinic like this that offer condoms. Especially for our youth. I pass the info to my young relatives that are college students

Literally the biggest waste of time. I have been on birth control for 6 years. I went there because I was having weird symptoms such as dizziness, nausea , and abnormal spotting that Ive never experienced before while on the pill and was told well its not time for your annual exam obviously I was aware of that but still wanted to make sure everything was fine. She told me well theres really no need for your visit today and told me I should go see an obgyn. Yes I was at planned parenthood with doctors and told to go see an obgyn. I will never come back to this location and I dont recommend it for anyone else.

I went to the clinic on 9-10-2024, and the front desk receptionist said they werent performing any ultrasounds this week. Without explanation, I mean, a pregnancy test is OK, but how can I know the condition of my child without an ultrasound?

Its not super fast your definitely going to be waiting so I recommend games and a book. Know your social security number, bring license and if insurance that to. It has a weird smell in the room like bleach, blood, and something else its not pleasant, but you get used to the smell.

Super nice and super helpful. Scheduled me for a weekend appointment when I didn’t have enough time to stay during my weekday appointment. Made you feel very comfortable and were extremely understanding. I was feeling very nervous and insecure, but the staff reassured me and I’m very grateful for that.

Only giving four stars for now; I had a Saturday appointment which Im more than thankful to receive due to my type of job. Being a new patient, I was checked in and seen immediately. LPN was so chill frfr. She allowed me to be me..making it a little bit more comfortable for me to open up to her. I went in for an annual.Was told if I dont hear by them on Friday, Sept. 2, then its a good thing. So, I will update accordingly but so far, 4stars for me.

I went to get a new arm implant (nexplanon) after having it in from 2020 to 2023. They informed me that they changed the length of time it would last and that I wouldn’t need one till 2025. So they didn’t take out my nexplanon nor gave me a new one. I called Nexplanon the number on the back of my card and they informed me that this planned parenthood was incorrect. Im extreamly frustrated about this and am just upset that people working here don’t know the actual guidelines for different birth controls.

Been coming here since my early 20s when I couldn’t find help anywhere else. Every visit went smooth. Very friendly medical staff. They will never turn u away for services & are very helpful.

I went here last week for care& required two separate appointments. One at the midtown location and one at the east Memphis one and both times I went it was amazing at both places. Everyone was nice, all service was quick and efficient and the nurses and Dr made me feel so comfortable when I was scared and alone. The whole facility was clean and organized and Im really amazed. Ive heard a lot of bad things about PP so I was nervous going into it but I am very pleased with my service. So glad we have establishments like this that care about people. My only complaint is the old dude that was standing outside yelling at the patients walking in and out lol

I would NOT recommend this place. The staff was rude the call center was much more willing to help and solve the problem unlike the staff members that are present at this location. The receptionist or lady that collects your payment tried to argue with me about a price that I was told when I initially made my appointment so I had to go over her head and speak with management smh. The day of my procedure, i waited for 6.5 hours in a cramped, small waiting space with about a dozen other girls and others were being seen who came after some of us that were waiting for several hours. All for something that only took 10 minutes. I can honestly say only 2 of the nurses there were genuine, the others were there to be noisey or had a “I don’t really care, I’m just here for a paycheck” type of attitude. Forget a sliding scale, this place should be absolutely NO charge based on how they conduct business👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

I had an appointment @ 2:20pm to remove an implant in my arm. I arrived early like hour and 30 minutes. I didnt get back there till 3:30 pm. The doctor was nice and the staff was okay. The waiting period is too long. Please stop showing the same movie over and over. Besides that I did get my implant removed.

Update: the current phone number does not work.I gave four stars because this clinic does what it needs to do. Birth control refills are only $10 and you can get 3 at a time so this is why I use PP.The staff (as of late 2016) arent as rude as the comments, but they arent overwhelmingly nice, helpful, or very clear as to what I need to do. I have been to other PP where staff was extremely helpful, so it is disappointing that this particular establishment doesnt take more pride in itself, especially because Memphis NEEDS PP.**I have no insurance so they were very clear with me about how much my appointments cost. My first appointment to get BC cost $85, plus one month BC($10) plus an emergency contraceptive ($5-because of appointment. Otherwise its $25).

The $100 add on for sedation is just a valium by mouth (that wore off hours before the procedure). I was told by several employees over the phone that I would receive medication for pain during sedation, but that wasnt true. I would have saved $100 dollars had someone been honest with me.On a positive note, the surgical nurse was really supportive and the recovery nurse so kind and attentive.

I personally had a great experience with Planned Parenthood in Memphis. All of the doctors, nurses, and staff were very nice and friendly, The facilities at both locations are very clean, and I received an IUD free of charge. I have a great, great respect for what these women and men do. Thank you very much!

Had to reschedule my procedure 3 times do to no Dr.s? Or other excuses not related to my issue. Called to verify appointment a day in advance for my 2nd appointment and nobody talked about any changes in law for this procedure. So,now Im rescheduling this procedure again. SMH.

I made an appointment online for Saturday at 1:20 pm. When I put the address in my GPS, it said I wouldnt make it before they closed at 1:00. My husband called to make sure our appointment was still valid since we were coming all the way from Hernando. When he asked if we were still ok to make it there at 1:20, the lady rudely responded by saying obviously so since your appointment is at that time. We drove the 40 minutes to Planned Parenthood and when we arrived and starting filling out the form, the lady behind the counter said for whatever reason our appointment came through as a refill (as opposed to a new patient), and they stopped seeing people in the clinic at 1:00. I originally chose Planned Parenthood for a couple of reasons, but I will never go back here again. Id rather spend my money at a real physicians office than this raggedy excuse for a clinic. You deserve every bad review you receive, and I hope they shut your doors down for good. Luckily, we actually half expected this treatment, so it didnt come as a surprise and we still had a nice lunch in midtown.

Staff is incredibly rude, and obviously not interested in actually helping their patients. Ive had an issue every time Ive gone. I thought it would be the most convenient option for birth control since I go to school out of state and this is the closest planned parenthood, but its absolutely not.

Went there yesterday for abortion pills. The process is so long so be prepared to sit for 3 hours. 2 nurses were cool the rest was rude stuck up even over the phone. But, I won’t be seeing them nomore for the rest of my life.

It was December 18 and I had 4 birth control pills left. I knew I would run out before the holidays so instead of being caught off guard I went ahead to get my prescription filled.A short background to my needs. I have a SEVERE Medical condition and birth control helps it. Without it periods make me delusional, have extremely low blood pressure and excruciating pain (around a 8 on the hospital scale). Without these pills I cant work or even participate in normal life.Went back to pharmacy they said the doctor can fill it. So we called the doc (Im down to 3 now) left a message. Still doc didnt answer her calls so again called the next day (2 pills) by now Im getting frantic. I ran out of pills.theres still no reply and Ive called and left urgent messages. My pharmacist left urgent messages and still no answers. The call center that has answered all this time cant help and only inform me that the doc has 72 hours to respond to my First message. Thats the crux of my review. They have no urgent or emergency staff to help in these situations. And now they are closing for Xmas. Im going to sit in the lobby and cry. Maybe thatll get attention.UpdateTheir people called me early on the 22 and told me it was my fault Im in this situation and theyre not going to help me. Because I missed my appointment that I had no knowledge of. (I told them so) The last time I talked to my doc she said it would be permanent refills no appointment required. That I had gone through a full year supply already. I pointed out that I had been using them for at most 9 months. They didnt believe me, so I told them to look at my record. They said no. Someone lied and now Im stuck. If anyone can help I need it.Final UpdateWent to my General Doc and she along with her team of receptionist got me the meds I needed. She was a bit annoyed (understandable I brought her a problem she had nothing to do with) she had to use some pretty big favors but OMG she my doc for life because as silly as it may sound to others she saved my life and my future. I can never repay that. Thank You Prime Urgent Medical Care in Memphis.

The staff here are so understanding and caring. They listen to my situation and did anything they could to help, even going out of their way. They called to follow up with me and make sure everything was good with me physically and personally. I would recommend anyone to go here for their services.

I mean there is absolutely no training nor professionalism in this place. I mean I was turned away and I was told that we aint doing testing today, and this facility dont do consulting they do dat on the phone, call the 1800 number den set yo appointment... words of Betty... yell through a glass window....1st of all, huh??? Had the absolute worse experience here!!! Dont not go here by any means. The staff failed to send my prescription to my pharmacy after an emergency problem visit with my month long menstrual cycle. My doctors appointment was on a Saturday too, this means I had to go that day and Sunday with no perscription. I called on Monday to speak with a manager Ms.Alma and she was the most rude, nonchalant person Ive ever spoken with in my life. She had no care for their staffs mistake and when I called she tried to give me some sort of justification as appose to having the problem resolved, she then made me wait another day so that she could speak to someone else, its now Tuesday, I still have no meds and my four week menstrual cycle is now a five week menstrual cycle 😒😥I dont plan to return after this occurrence, it really sucks because Ive been go to this facility since I was in the 9th grade, I am now 23. (9 years of dedication) for nothing in return.I also asked Ms.Alma for corporates number, she refused to have given it to me stating that she was corporateDont go here!!!!!! BOTTOM LINE! Find a real gynecologist

There was this rude lay at the front desk I believe her name was Vicky not sure.... but this lady was trying to convince my baby mother into an abortion.. what kind of business is going on here... I said something to her about it and she acted like she didnt know wha I was talking about then proceeded to say some nasty things under her breath as if I caint hear her standing right in front of her... this place needs to be shut down with customer Service such as that...

Literally the worse place to come to, they’ll reschedule your appointment so many time when they finally set one and you show up you’ll wait hours to be seen. If I could give them negative stars I would worse experience.

They said I couldnt bring my 7 month old son in. All I was trying to do is get a STI check. When I called over the phone they said it was fine but once I got there they told me that I couldnt have him there. They really just pissed me off.

This place is horrible plz dont go here I went with My fiance she was a month and half when we got here they would not let me go in with her even after I asked multiple times they kept saying you have to wait for the doctor to say its ok, finally when they let me In I saw my girl in a very intrusive sonogram and I was very angry that they did that, my fiance had a misscarge and I totally blame this place.

I love the physicians here they always listen to my concerns and are very helpful with anything that I need

Nice, clean, spacious and quick. Service was excellent and there was a volunteer available to walk people in while there were protesters.

The nurses and staff were very nice but I literally waited 6 hours just for the nurse to see me then waited another 2 hours for the ultrasound it’s ridiculous

My boyfriend and I recently went there to get HIV testing and they were great. We were walk ins and got everything handled within 1 hour.

Unreliable with their open hours. Says clinic is open at 8AM waited an hour and there was still nobody there... Great service in case of an emergency

I got the nexplanon implant here. Its been nine months and counting now. Its a nice facility and have a wonderful staff.

Wonderful staff, quick appointment for annual exam and STI testing. Best place for all of your sexual health needs.

It wasnt a lot of people in the facility but it was a long wait. The people that were there was nice and honest.

When i went in for an abortion they didnt remove it all and it caused a serious infection that had almost killed me. I lost serious amounts of blood from it!!! They suck!!!
