I have been here about 4-5 times and everytime I go everyone is very nice. Nurse Becca is very sweet and she truly cares. I had an hsg/shg done yesterday and Dr. Bailey had to assist she made process easy, comfortable and fast it was over in seconds. My ultrasound technician was so supportive and sweet making sure I was okay every step of the way asking if I was okay and I run into a handful of ultrasound techs that are truly the best she is one of them ! I go for reoccurrent pregnancy loss and Dr. Brezina is who I see he is very informative and kind. I can’t speak for the ivf part but for the reoccurrent pregnancy loss part I would highly recommend.

I have been here three times with my fiancée, and her more like 6. Something is off about this place, and with all the imagery of infants with mothers, you would think there would be more actual empathy and consideration.I’m used to having to wait at a doctor’s office; I’ve been to a lot of them in the past few years. But today was the last straw. Arriving for an appointment at 11:30 and still waiting at nearly 1 pm without an update is unconscionable. This process is already stressful and uncomfortable (especially for her), and I expect a level of concern for our well-being.I cannot in good faith recommend a group that allows front office members to leave before the patients do. I cannot in good conscience tell you that this is the place you should trust with one of the most important decisions you will ever make. Find people who actually care.

My husband and I experienced recurrent pregnancy loss, including a stillborn baby girl at over 33 weeks, and were sent to Dr . Kutteh to help us discover exactly why this kept happening to us. He did lots of testing. Talked with us about our concerns and fears. We felt very “heard”. One of his passions is trying to stop pregnancy loss and trying to figure out why this is so common in our society. It is truly devastating for families. We still never determined an exact cause for all of our losses, but we had never gotten past 12 weeks without him. Now, we have two beautiful children thanks in great part to Dr. Kutteh and the rest of our medical team. He never let us give up and for that, we will be forever grateful…for everything. He was the perfect mix between comfort and education that helped us to feel empowered during our extremely high risk pregnancies. Thank you for ever, Dr. Kutteh.Sincerely,Chris and Erika

I was really hoping not leave such a low review, but here we are.I have multiple health problems, all of them serious and require multiple doctors. Last spring my husband and I looked into starting a family. I was going to a OBGYN who ended up referring me to Fertility Associates of Memphis to work on our fertility journey. Previously I had already had an FSG done, and when we moved to this clinic, I was told I needed an FSG & HSG done. After I had the HSG done I was having a lot of abnormal bleeding. Not the kind they said I would have, this was like my period had started. I called and they said it was normal. After a few hours it got worse, and I was legitimately worried something was wrong. I called back 2 more times, and one of those times they said it sounded like my period had started. I had to explain to them that it wouldn’t be that since the HSG had to be done within a short amount of time after my last one ended, and it was been less than a week since then. I had to call my regular OB and explain what was happening, to which they immediately called something in for me to make the bleeding stop. The clinic that didn’t even do the test took more concern over what was happening than the clinic that did it.The doctor had already spoken to me about my health issues, told me about the paperwork and clearance I needed from them, and about another doctor I needed to reach out too and get clearance. I did all of it. I got everything they told me to get. Had medications changed, had tons of bloodwork done, etc. I am Type 1 diabetic, and when I went and got my HSG results in January, I was told my a1c was at 6.8, but it needed to be 6.5 or lower for them to legally do any type of fertility treatment like IUI or IVF. That was my 3rd or 4th visit at the time and was only told this after seeing them multiple times. He went over what fertility treatments I could do after my a1c got to that number and to call as soon as it got there. This month I found out my a1c was finally at 6.5, I called a few days later and set up and appointment to be seen so we could talk about what to do next.We waited over an hour to be seen after we were taken to a room. Once in there, we were told that he STRONGLY recommends against us doing IUI or IVF since my chances of death or serious complications were much, much higher than normal. He said that if we wanted to do them, he’ll do it, but it wouldn’t be a good idea.I waited almost 8 months just to be told that it’s not a good idea for me to do fertility treatments. We have spent so much money with them on my husbands tests, my tests and visits…He said the best option for us would be surrogacy, but the price for that is ridiculous, and that’s even if my embryos are useable.Nothing with my health had changed except for IMPROVING. I did everything I was told to do. Changed things like I was told to do.Why even tell me to do have these things changed & done, to give us hope in doing fertility treatments, just to wait to tell us that’s it’s not safe for me. He told me in January about my options, but never told me the risks that I faced. I got told after waiting 8 months and working my ass off to improve my a1c, to finally be told what should have been told to me in January. This entire process has been incredibly hard on me & my husband, and now it just feels like we were used as money makers to get the news they made it seem like we weren’t going to get. It’s because of that, that I will not be referring anyone to seek assistance with the clinic.

You have to be mentally, physically, & emotionally healthy. You may even need to be spiritually healthy because this process requires alot. You have to have patience & faith. You must have a support system. You can not do this process alone. You should have all your ducks in a row as far as insurance and financial stability. You should have a healthy diet with drinking and eating and a minimal amount of exercise within your daily routine.Nothing about this process is easy but the things above can help you maneuver through it with grace. You cannot go into this process thinking negatively or things will not go right for you. It’s going to be hard to stay positive but you have to TRY & HAVE FAITH!You have to be patient with appointments doctors and staff members. You are going to undergo a lot of emotions due to hormone medications so take it easy on yourself and others during this process. There are a plethora of patients that’s going through this process so speak up! Meaning don’t always wait to hear from them because this office is super busy! Speak up for your money, your embryos, your time. If something is bothering you just SPEAK UP! Remember you have to have PATIENCE!I started this process in September of 2019. I went through this process with Dr. Amelia Bailey. She is a great doctor. She is firm because this is a serious process & she wants you to know that it’s going to require alot. It’s 2023 and I just had my baby boy in July. I am so grateful for Dr. Bailey & the staff. This was definitely a journey.

From the very first appointment with Dr Brezina I knew I was in good hands. We discussed to goal and came up with a plan. The staff at FAM helped me and my husband after 6 years of trying (originally started our infertility journey in Georgia) Within 1 year we had our own miracle baby girl. We are so blessed to have Dr Brezina and the team support us and ultimately give us a gift we can never repay! Thank you so much for our greatest accomplishment!

Been working with FAM for a long long time and we definitely had our ups and downs, but ultimately at the end of the day we got our little angel. It’s so hard to not let your emotions get the best of you and fertility treatment all together is very traumatic and tough. But in the end it’s worth it. Dr Bailey helped us get our beautiful son, I wish I could thank her in person. The only downside is the wait time. Unfortunately - it’s really outrageous. But Dr Bailey is really the best fertility doctor and I trust her 100%. I would say if you are going to FAM use Dr Bailey as your Doctor. we really love her and our family can’t thank her enough.

We had a repetitively horrific experience with Fertility Associates of Memphis. Save yourself the heartbreak, frustration, and wasted money by doing good research. Make sure you find a clinic that does not value profit over patients.I am no stranger to the world of IVF and this recent experience left me shocked by how out of touch and non-humanistic this clinic really is. I have triplets conceived via IVF and have donated eggs three times, including once through a split cycle. Each of those resulted in pregnancies. This is not my first rodeo. This is the only local IVF clinic in our BCBS insurance network, so I booked an appointment for May 2024. Initially, the clinics front office staff was responsive and friendly, and I was excited to begin, but that’s where the positive experience ended. We paid to have the frozen sperm insured and shipped to the clinic, with assurances theyd notify me upon arrival. After days of waiting, multiple calls, emails, and contacting the office manager, I finally got confirmation it arrived safely. The lack of communication was infuriating, and it was the first time I felt uneasy about how the clinic was run, but I chalked it up as a one-time issue.Throughout the process there was little to no communication from the clinic, which I was ok with given my past experiences, but would be horrible for a first time IVF cycler. Their online portal is archaic and difficult to navigate and my cycle was almost cancelled because I didn’t complete one of the forms (that you have to go hunt down yourself).Just days before my IVF meds were to be shipped, I received an email stating we’d need to pay $15,000 upfront. I was shocked, as the clinic is in-network. It turns out that while the clinic is in network, their 𝐢𝐧-𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐚𝐛 for egg retrieval, fertilization, and embryo transfer (basically ALL of IVF) is not. They don’t bill insurance directly for the lab side of things, so Id have to self-submit claims. These crucial details were not disclosed to me verbally, or in any paperwork I reviewed (waiting on a copy of my whole file). The lack of financial transparency was infuriating, but we were already halfway through the process, both in time and finances.I called my insurance company and they were appalled by the situation, even offering to help me file a complaint. I declined to avoid jeopardizing our procedure. They sent me a form to request in-network payment for the out-of-network lab, and when it was approved, I took it as a sign to move forward. However, we still had to pay the ~$15,000 upfront and we were offered a medical credit card. We qualified and put the full $15,000+ amount on it, despite having IVF coverage. On the morning of my retrieval on July 17, the surgical center made me pay in full because my preauthorization wasn’t completed. I was shocked— but this surgery couldn’t be delayed without forfeiting the whole cycle and I felt backed into a corner. While in the waiting room, I called BCBS, and they had no preauthorization request on file. The clinic claimed they faxed it but were still waiting to hear from BCBS. As someone with medical office and insurance experience, I couldnt understand why the clinic didn’t confirm the preauthorization days before the surgery. After some back and forth with Kim at the clinic, I informed her that BCBS had no record and insisted she fix the situation.I called BCBS a week later and found out they received the preauthorization the morning of my retrieval, and that it was sent after I contacted the clinic. I asked for an expedited process, and they agreed. However, when I followed up weeks later, I was told the preauthorization was denied because the clinic failed to include a diagnosis. I was beyond livid. I immediately called and emailed Kim and the office, requesting they fix their mistake. SEE PHOTOS FOR REMAINDER

I would never ever go back to this place EVER!!!!!!!!!! First of my appointment was at 1:30 PM I was not seen up until 4 PM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When I was finally seen after sitting another 20 minutes the Doctor told me right Off top you need to lose weight before we can help you do anything. My face was shattered and I was really stunned!!!!! Because my initial reason for going in. Is to see exactly whats wrong woth me I was told that 1 of my tubes was blocked last year by my actual OBGYN so that raised flags for me to see What else Was going on with my reproductive system!!! My insurance told me about them amd paid for me to go to this clinic. And the very first thing you say is I need to lose weight which I understand that I am overweight I get that, but my thing is U wouldnt even run test or anything to see exactly where my body stands or how Im actually doing!!!!! Thats the first thing you explain is my weight when I seen multiple woman in sizes leaving in and out of the clinic. Secondly, you ask my spouse for S****. First time meeting us, you did not ask for anything else. You specifically gave him paperwork. Asked for a Sample in which was $215. I almost told them. I could get it myself for free. I feel very, very uncomfortable. And I dont think I would ever go back and at this point I just leave it in Gods hands because I did not like the atmosphere at all. I am glad that it has helped a lot of women but I do not think that it is a place for me!!!!!!!!!😔😔😔

I first saw Dr. Brezina in March 2021 after suffering almost 3 years of infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. He listened to my story, reviewed our history, and ordered additional tests. He was able to determine I have an issue with my tubes, and we decided to pursue IVF. I had my egg retrieval in June 2021 and my first embryo transfer in October failed. We were gutted, but I will never forget the true empathy Dr. Brezina had for us when he called and when we met with him to discuss where to go next. We changed my protocol and jumped right into another transfer. That baby girl is almost two and we have a son that just turned one month old from a subsequent transfer. We are forever grateful for the expertise, knowledge, and care of Dr. Brezina, Dr. Ding, and their entire team for helping us bring home the greatest blessings we’ve ever received.

I had such a wonderful experience at fertility associates of Memphis. I had tried several rounds of IUI and still had the hope that I just had to be guided to the right pathway. God blessed me by sending me to FAM. There were times I was nervous and not sure I would be a good candidate being 36 at the time. But Dr. Brezina helped guide me during my IVF journey. March 6th of this year I welcomed the two greatest gifts I could ever ask for. It is never to late to achieve your dreams, and with God and FAM helping hands mine came true.

The receptionists were also amazing and answered any questions we had quickly. This review is after we went through one complete round of IVF which ended up being successful (my son is now 13 months old). I dont want to go anywhere else for our second.Update: now May 2024My son is almost 8 years old and we also now have a 5 year old daughter. Both fertility associates of Memphis IVF babies (frozen). This clinic continues to support their previous clients. They even schedule fun family events throughout the year (they just had a client zoo day!). Additionally, it was this clinic who sparked my interest in biology! I since graduated with my Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from UCCS. It’s been almost 9 years since starting our IVF journey; we are grateful for this clinic’s love, care and continued professionalism.

My wife and I were referred here by her doctor because we were having issues with pregnancy. Every appointment we went to, we sat in the doctors office for over an hour waiting for a 10 minute conversation. They told us they did an HSG to see what was going on. The following appointment, we were told by Doctor Bailey that her fallopian tubes were blocked, there was nothing they could do, and gave us a packet for IVF. My wife was devasted. We felt like they didnt really try or care to see what the issue was, so we got a second opinion from a GREAT doctor outside of Nashville. After we explained to her what happened in Memphis, she told us they didnt do an HSG; it was a Saline Sonogram. I am sure we got overcharged for doing something they didnt even do. In the end, the Nashville doctor found our issue and fixed it with a simple procedure. My wife is now pregnant thanks to our second opinion. Long story short, if this place pushes IVF, a SECOND OPINION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED!

We waited 2+ hours each of the 4 times we visited this clinic. We live in a different state and were advised that this place was one of the best, so we thought it would be worth it to take days off to travel. They didn’t return our phone calls when we had questions, made us wait for hours in the waiting room after our scheduled appointment, didn’t have answers for us when we finally got to see the doctor, and 2/4 times hadn’t even collected all the test results from the clinics in our home state.During our last visit, our doctor asked if we wanted to redo some testing ($500-700 out of pocket) to see if they missed anything. What? If you think YOU missed something, just do the test again, but don’t charge US for it! She also strongly advised me to only go to them for testing ($250 out of pocket) because she’d heard it’s impossible to get into my home clinic. When I called my home clinic, the testing is a simple walk in procedure that costs $16.50. This place feels like a money grab.Going through fertility treatment is a difficult and intimate process. We were expecting professional, compassionate, determined care. We received long waits, insane bills for basic tests, zero communication, and a feeling of hopelessness for something we’ve been working so hard for. After spending literally thousands of dollars it is worth it to us to find a different clinic that respects us, our time, and our goals.

This place is a scam. Staff is awful. Doctors are clearly bad with money management to need office fees this high. You get referred here by more incompetent doctors. The goverment does not acknowledge them as a legitimate enough medical facility for reimbursement. They secretly contract with Lab Corp. They do not do the work themselves. They are medical middle men. After you have paid thousands of dollars up front in their brick and mortar they have Lab Corp bill you on the back end. They do not tell you they are contracting. Go to Nashville or UAB. Do not waste your money here. Ive received far more professional care for less money.Update: went to another doctor. Found out they missed something incredibly important. The knowledge base does not match the price tag. They just want money. They couldnt care less about you. Find out the services offered, and shop around.

Today was my first visit at the clinic and it was horrible. My appointment was at 3pm and I arrived at 2:45pm to not be seen until 4:35pm by Dr. Amelia Bailey for her to only see me for 15mins top! She asked me what was my weighloss goals and I told her I didn’t have any at the moment being that I had gastric bypass last year and had loss 180lbs! She said will unless you are around 213 as I weighed in today at 272 she couldn’t help me with any fertility options! I asked for clarification and she again said no she wouldn’t be able to assist me! She said I can hold off on labs until you lose the weigh and I told her the labs she wanted to request I had just had done from my Obgyn two weeks ago and could have them sent to her and that I had them on my phone from my chart she looked at them and said well I need to run them again I like to use my own and view them which in my opinion is unnecessary as I just had those done two weeks ago! I am disappointed in the approach of her bedside manners. This is already a tough and sensitive process but to be treated like that with no respect for my time and or dignity is unacceptable! I’m truly disappointed and arrived at this appointment hopeful to only be let down! I would refer anyone to her if this is the way people are treated! I absolutely understand that there are scales and perimeters that have to be followed that are set in place however the difference is the delivery and the sensitivity of the matter is what should be taking in place. To have more than one person to say the same thing about a physician should be taking in consideration and need to be investigated! This is a sensitive issue and I’m sure everyone is not lying about their experiences!!!

If I could leave a 0 star then I would! It has been a year since I went to this place and I have never been so belittled by a Dr until I went to this place. I was referred here by another dr because I was 40 and my husband and I were finally married and we were wanting to try for a baby. I have PCOS, I was diabetic, over weight and an older patient. I get I wasn’t an ideal patient but compassion could have been shown. A plan could have been worked out but none of that was offered The Dr that I seen was very arrogant, disrespectful, judgmental , and a complete jerk. I was told that because of my age, I’d be better off going to buy another females eggs from an egg bank, use my husbands swimmers to fertilize those eggs and then go through the process of having those fertilized eggs inserted into my uterus. But only when I got my A1C down to a 6.9. My A1C was a 7 at that time. I get that I was over weight but I stressed to this Dr that I was already and have been going to the gym, working out several times a week, my eating habits had been changed a long time ago, I didn’t drink sodas or sweet tea, I was strictly drinking water or unsweet tea, and I had been doing all of the right things for years but struggled to lose the weight and that I had just started on mounjaro the month before and was already seeing progress with my weight. I left that visit in tears, heartbroken, and humiliated. Why am I posting this review a year later? I want that jerk of a Dr to know that my A1C is now a 4.9, my weight is 194lbs, I’m still working out and I’m still doing everything that I’m supposed to do and I’m healthy. You are the type of Dr that doesn’t need to be a Dr. you have 0 compassion for patients that don’t fit the criteria that the facility requires some one to be at seeking help for fertility. I would never recommend this facility to anyone! I wished I would have read the reviews on this place before I even accepted the appointment. I’ve made peace with the fact that I will never be a mom and my husband will never be dad. We would have been great parents. As far as the other reviews that I’ve read, I’ll agree too that I waiting forever and some of the staff were just as rude as the Dr but the other staff members were sweet as can be.

Doctor is super nice but everyone else is a hit or miss. Some days they’re nice and pleasant and other days - not so much. The worst thing here is the lack of respect of your time. Appointments mean nothing to them - Most times my appointments take 30 mins or more to get in but the worse is when you have to do work with the lab. Last time I was there an hour and 40 mins and I still haven’t got into a room. They don’t care if you have a job or not - seriously no consideration for your time/schedule.

I was referred by my OBGYN due to my age and 3 rounds of failed Letrozole. I had a very negative attitude about the referral because I thought FAM only offered IUI & IVF. I was not interested in neither. However, my GYN convinced me to just go for a consult. My husband and I met with Dr. Brezina and he was the ABSOLUTE BEST! He thoroughly explained everything and answered all of our questions. He was concerned about my health like I was his family member. He did not pressure us to make any decisions right away and gave us as much time as we needed. He got me in to do special tests only done at FAM and found the problem (a fibroid blocking my entire uterus). He fixed it and now we are expecting a healthy baby girl in November! I would definitely recommend Dr. Brezina to anyone struggling with fertility after 35 years old. He makes you feel comfortable and gets you with the financial department beforehand so there wont be any surprise costs.

If you are considering seeking services at this location, I strongly advise against it for the sake of your well-being and future fertility journey. The office staffs communication with patients is severely lacking, as they fail to adequately inform or explain procedures to patients. During my consultation, I specifically asked my doctor if there were any procedures, tests, or bloodwork scheduled for that day, and they assured me there were none. However, this turned out to be untrue because after speaking with the doctor, I was suddenly instructed to undergo a pelvic exam, which I had no prior knowledge of. I had to approach the nurse to inquire about the purpose of the exam since no one bothered to explain the process to me. Subsequently, I was sent for labs, despite being told by the doctor that I wouldnt need any that day. This inconsistency in the doctors communication left me questioning their credibility and made it extremely difficult for me to trust their guidance. Such unprofessional behavior is absolutely unacceptable.Additionally, be prepared for unexpected costs that exceed the initial estimates provided. It became evident that the primary focus of this facility is money rather than patient care. The billing department initially quoted me a specific amount for the doctors visit, which I paid upfront upon arrival. However, during the lab visit (which I was informed I wouldnt have), I was blindsided by a request for a credit card pre-authorization for Labcorp services, amounting to an extra $700+ that I had no prior knowledge of and was suddenly responsible for paying. While some of the staff members were polite despite the communication issues, I encountered two lab employees who displayed a lack of kindness. The individual drawing my blood yelled my name from another room and failed to leave her chair, causing confusion and delay in finding the correct location. She did not make eye contact or offer a greeting, instead reading a pre-authorization form from a script and condescendingly asking if I was confused. This disrespectful treatment of patients is entirely unacceptable. In summary, I strongly discourage anyone from seeking services at this location due to the significant communication problems, prioritization of financial interests over patient care, and unprofessional behavior exhibited by certain staff members. Your well-being and fertility journey deserve better treatment and support.

The one bright said is the nurses. They are so nice. On the other hand, it’s extremely clear that Dr. Bailey’s main concern is money. She hardly remembers my name and I can tell she never remembers my case details when she walks in the door and then frantically has to search my chart for answers to my questions. It makes me question the quality of care I am receiving. She is always professional/nice but expect to wait 1.5 to 2 hours every visit just to speak with her for 10 minutes. I really wish they would do phone calls/web chats for appointments where they weren’t running any tests because it takes 3 hours out of my day just to sit in a a room with her for 10 minutes and ask a few questions. Also, be prepared for them to push IVF on you very quickly. My advice is advocate for yourself and ask for your tests results (they never physically gave me a copy until i asked) and don’t be afraid to speak up. Unfortunately they are one of the only fertility clinics in Memphis so I feel I little defeated considering I have no where else to go : (

Initially, I planned on waiting to write a review until after having a healthy baby, so I could write something like, “gave me my little miracle - 5 stars!” However, now seems like a good time since my husband and I have been working with Dr. Paul Brezina for a year now. Although we haven’t reached our goal *yet*, I can confidently say that Dr. Brezina and his team have made this journey as pleasant as one could hope! I know some people might read this and think “no baby after a whole year?!” But unfortunately, some fertility issues can be complex and take time, so my main reason for writing this review is to acknowledge how this clinic has made this exhausting journey somewhat easier through friendly service and excellent care.I think the most important thing to point out is Dr. Brezina always ensures that we understand the information he’s providing. Even better, he thoroughly answers EVERY question we ask. I literally brought 15 detailed questions to my last appointment, and after answering each one, he’d kindly ask if we understood or needed more information. Being able to make informed decisions about our next steps is crucial, and he goes above and beyond to make sure we’re able to do so. Plus, I always hate feeling rushed by medical professionals, and I can honestly say that I’ve never experienced that when speaking to anyone here (doctor, nurses, front desk, etc.). Another really important quality is the clinic’s response time. Callbacks are almost always the same day, and that’s not common at most places these days. Overall, I highly recommend this clinic, specifically Dr. Brezina. I’m more than confident that I will get “my little miracle” soon enough, but in the meantime I felt it was important to share my opinion on this amazing clinic.

Surprise, surprise, phones are turned off during business hours for the 3rd time in a week. Very poorly managed. The phones are always turned off making it impossible to leave a message with the nurses or contact the billing department. When you do get through, nurses wait 2-3 days to call you back and if it involves the clinic owing you money, forget any call back. This clinic is herding women through like cattle, and that is exactly how it feels. They have too many patients to give any sort of quality care to anyone.

I previously posted a not so nice review. However, someone I know called the clinic and spoke to Deidre who really took the time to explain everything to me and make me feel much better about paying and going. I spent $425 for the visit but spent over an hour with the physician and physician resident. They were extremely thorough and retrieved records that my referring doctor did not have which was nice. Dr Ketuh is very nice and seems eager to help solve your problems! I am glad I did not go off of first impression from whoevers answered the phone. I just may have missed out on a good thing! He even was concerned that I was self pay! It feels good to talk to a REAL Doctor!

Worst doctor experience of my life. I waited for 3 hours to do a 10 minute consultation. I wasted a lot of time and money to find out I couldnt do iui because of my weight and dr Bailey was not sensitive to my feelings about it. Instead I was given referrals to other doctors that I didnt ask for just so they could make even more money off of me. Dr Bailey is clearly in this business for the money and not her patients. I’m giving this clinic one star because I am clearly not a priority for their services. I have secondary infertility and was referred to this clinic. My appointment was scheduled in January, for June. In June, we waited for OVER TWO HOURS for a consultation that lasted less than NINE MINUTES with the doctor. I was told I would have a consultation with the doctor again in five weeks, and I made two appointments for blood work and an ultrasound respectively. I was told the blood work appointment would be a walk-in appointment, “in and out.” But it wasn’t, and I waited forty five minutes for a blood draw and a surprise ultrasound that no one communicated (and I received a nurse and doctor explanation about what my next appointment would look like, and neither said anything about an ultrasound) would happen at this appointment. My second ultrasound was the only appointment that went smoothly. However, the greatest problem is that no one scheduled my five week follow up. In the THREE times I have been in that office, no one scheduled. When I finally called because I’d like to know my results, the next available appointment now makes it a TWO MONTH follow up. For someone who is having trouble conceiving and visiting a fertility clinic, this extra month is especially painful. I wish I had never set foot on this clinic for a number of reasons, but their lack of concern for patient time and schedules is chief among them.

I absolutely LOVE Dr. Kuttah and his nurse Michelle. Dr. K was so thorough during our initial appointment and went over everything in detail. The study nurse Erica is the sweetest if you ever get into a study trial. She is extremely acknowledge of the study and answered all the questions I had. I would give 5 stars but....I only have one thing negative to say, billing was kind of a pain to deal with. (But never rude)They just never billed our insurance on procedures that should have been covered, so I had to go to BCBS myself and a lot of things ended up getting reimbursed. I am super pleased with Fertility Associates and glad we went to see them, we are due in February with a sweet baby Boy after trying for years on our own.

She is very straight forward and does not leave you with questions. Shes also good at listening to the goals me and my husband have and doing her best to achieve those. We are starting a round of IVF with her in the next few months for baby #2 and I trust her completely to take good care of me.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Fertility Associates of Memphis. My first appointment was telehealth because Dr. Bailey had Covid. Rather than cancel her patients, she powered through them, symptoms and all. It was then that I knew I would be in great hands. This entire process has been scary and stressful but Gracie, Dr. Baileys nurse never made me feel like I was being a bother or that my questions were dumb. When I had higher level questions Dr. Bailey would get to me within a good turnaround period. Just weeks after what was one year since my first appointment, we did my second embryo transfer and now Im happily pregnant with twins at 18w 😊 They gave me hope when I was at rock bottom. I never once felt like I was a lost cause when I spoke with someone in the office. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Bailey to someone. Now, lets talk really quickly about what some people had complaints about.1. Unfortunately most American insurances do not cover artificial reproductive technology, making this a cash business. Im sure you would find it hard to come up with many places that provide a service and dont expect you to pay up front. So yes, before they start these expensive and time consuming processes, they want their payment. I never had an encounter with anyone who was rude. When my HSA card had a max daily spend, they told not to worry about it and just come back between that day and the day of my trial transfer to pay the balance. Simple as that. A lot of your workup stuff and first trimester scans are covered by your insurance (depending on your insurance), but when it comes to the actual magic of babies being made, it will likely be out of pocket.2. That place is BUSY. If you think about it, they are trying to get A LOT of people pregnant at the same time. So those early morning lab and/or ultrasound appointments do sometimes make you feel like cattle in a herd. But if you actually knew the volume of people they see within that hour, you would be shocked. Its actually really efficient.3. The physicians are busy. They have a lot of patients just like thousands of other physicians in this country. So expecting an immediate call back from them is unreasonable. Yes this is an anxiety provoking situation for us, but we arent their only patients. They are seeing patients, doing retrivals and surgery. They are busy. I never had a call that was returned so late that it changed my treatment plan.I will forever be in debt to Dr. Bailey, Gracie, Ellen, the embryologists and the ladies in the surgery center...they gave me hope and then gave my daughter siblings. I cant thank them enough

We had a consultation with a doctor and took some tests but we decided not go to this clinic anymore. The doctor might be ok but you better go to another clinic if you are over 40 and want a baby with your own egg. Also their service was bad, especially the billing department was terrible. This clinic charge money before insurance cover at first, so we have to pay more than we owe. After the clinic got money from insurance company they keep our overpaid money as credit without a reason. They should give our money back right after they got money from insurance company. I dont know how long they keep our money if we dont ask them to give us back though.I thought we never go to this clinic again, so I called the billing department several times to get my money back. But they never answered and called me back, so my husband was about to go to the clinic to complain about it but several days later, they sent me the receipt by email and refund without calling. Before this happened, my husband actually had to go to the clinic to ask a question because the billing department never answered the phone and called us back. They will call you only when they want money but they never answer when we need.

The staff and Drs at the clinic really do care! I did not feel like a “number” instead, I was treated like family! Katie at the front desk was always cheerful and would answer any questions she could for me! All the staff members truly care and want the best for you! You are greeted with a smile and even a hug if you need it. I ended up doing IVF and Dr. Kutteh did my retrieval and he was very informative and explained everything to my husband! Dr. Bailey did my transfer and I left the surgery center that day feeling very positive! Before my transfer I was asked if they could pray for me! That made my experience so much better! All in all, the doctors, nurses and staff members are amazing and will do whatever they can for you!

I would give no stars if I could. For all that have left these “amazing” reviews you must be one of the lucky ones.I only had ONE experience with my dr while a patient there. Well 2 if you count the rude phone call I got telling me that “you could try getting pregnant on your own and it’s not going to happen or you could just pay us and get IVF and be pregnant tomorrow” ( The Dr’s words not mine ) After no further communication from the Dr’s office and no further options we could try first I decided this is not the place for me.3 weeks ago I called after being put on hold multiple times to get to the person who handles medical records and followed all the instructions to submit the request for my records to be sent to myself for my personal keeping. I have yet to receive or hear back about my records. Luckily I work on health care and know to keep everything including the fax confirmation pages. Called yesterday, had to leave a message and called again today to be told “leave a message and she’ll get right back with you” yeah that’s not flying with me. I explained the situation and asked for the office manager which of course had to leave a message for. We will see if I actually hear anything back. This is such poor service for a clinic that is supposed to be helping women in need who are wanting to get pregnant. Having these experiences really is a let down and makes people want to give up. It’s time to do better.

Looks like I’m joining the others not thrilled with this facility. I have secondary infertility. Was told my amh was probably high just because I’m lucky for my age, when in all reality I knew it was pcos related. Confirmed it since then with a laparoscopic surgery done by my OB. This office tried to push ivf of course without treating underlying issues like pcos or endometriosis. They won’t check for thyroid issues either. The first time I got pregnant my OB literally found my thyroid problem, put me on meds and I was pregnant in 2 months. Be prepared for them to push ivf. They want that money. Also when we first started going we did iui. On our last iui I was already taking the meds and when I came in for my iui appt they stated their procedural money amount doubled so they would need double what we had been paying. No phone call before hand, no heads up, just double at the front desk. Insane how they run business up there. And double went from around 575$ to about 1100$ per iui.And you only see the doctor once- you’ll never see them again with iui. You’ll get monthly voicemails saying they wish you luck. And my doctor got my last name wrong twice on those. It’s a joke up there

Beware of this clinic unless youve got money to burn. The receptionists are nasty. The billing department is cold and short when they call you about the money to bring for your appointment. We waited for Brezina nearly 3 hours before we actually spoke to him. Then the actual appointment was fast. The appointments are very expensive - about a couple hundred bucks just to speak to the Dr. After that, the Dr orders labs, but labs are not included in drs fees. You end up spending way more than you expected. They do not follow up with patients either. I only got information about my case if I kept calling the office. I felt like they just messed me around, took my money and didnt care about me. I hope to find a clinic with better bedside manner.

Stay away from this clinic. I left a bad review about their supporting services because they never reply my phone call one month ago. The most ridiculous thing is I received my Dr.s phone today, asking me why I left my complain review! This is my first time to directly receive Drs phone but unfortunately not talking about my disease. He spent half an hour to blame or even threat me in a very rude attitude especially at the end of the talk! He said it was unfair and I offended him because of the bad review. I really want to ask him, I paid you so much money, shouldnt I deserve a cellphone reply from nurses after tests (I need to know the results) and shouldnt I deserve a cellphone reply from billing department after serval calls (they never answer my phone and never reply) if I have some bill questions? Dont you think this kind of bad service is unfair to me? Dont you think you called me in this way offended me? I went through my review again today and I think I wrote my true feeling in a very neutral way. This is the best way to give suggestions to others like me. Not as you said I am a crazy woman. Please be careful about what you said to your patient. If you wants to spend some time caring for your patients or improve your teams service quality, I think you wont have so many bad comments and I would not leave a bad review! I think I am not the only one receiving his threaten call for bad review and I am definitely not the last one! You, today, let me see a new world - Doctors can speak like this.Below is my comment one months ago:I dont want to comment Drs here. But just for nurses and other services, it is the most terrible clinic i have ever seen. As a infertility patient, time is very important for us. But you never expect to receive their call in time. I have to call them back after a long wait, asking my test result. Sometimes, nurse told me it was still under review (dr has no time to review now). but please dont rely on calling you in time without your request. The most terrible experience is their other supporting services. They only ask you to make payment. After that, they never call you back to answer your any questions about your payment. I feel like collecting money is their the most important work. I called their billing department before and after surgery several times, but they never called me back. I really dont know why they have this department if they never answer patients questions. Because they asked me pay my surgery bill directly to the clinic (Drs part), but they didnt process my bill. So my insurance couldnt get the exactly number of how much I have used. The price of all the bills after this clinic bill couldnt be applied accurately. I am really tired of this service. And as another review mentioned, they have very strictly rules to filter their patient if you want to do IVF. I think that is the way to increase their successful rate. But they never considered patients feelings. Sometime, IVF is the only hope to have a baby even if we know we have very low successful rate. Nobody wants to spend such a huge money to try a hopeless thing, but if it is the only choice, we have to. Unfortunately, sometimes, Drs from this clinic dont want to give us this opportunity.

ALWAYS GET A COPY OF YOUR CHART! A patient chart belongs to the patient, so you are entitled to a copy. I moved and had a HORRIBLE time getting my chart faxed to my new Dr. It took much much longer than I was told, they didnt get it sent by my first appointment, charged me a few that I was not informed of up front, and my new Dr only received 3 pages of my 20 page chart. Thankfully I also got a copy for myself and was able to supply the new Dr with most of my chart. But not all. Pages were missing even though I was ensured that it was my full chart. If thats true, then they are missing pieces of my chart. I am positive pages were missing because some reports would say page 2 of 2 but 1 wasnt there or even page _ of 4 and 3 was missing. Extremely disappointed.Despite the nightmare of trying to have and transfer my information, the people and doctors there are very nice. Perhaps if you get a record of your chart and lab results after each visit, it could be worth it to be their patient.

After I asked the receptionist about my wait time, they became incensed and started name calling loud enough for me to hear them( they called me a bobble headed female dog). I should have left then but I left work early to get my labwork done. I was determined to finish this process. They ( the lady with quick weave and lashes & the lady with the brown blonde hair with the black sweater- adult bully)waited another 10-15 minutes to call me back because I said something about the wait. After she completed her task which took less than 5 minutes, I stood up to leave and she purposely got in my way. The nurse state hes on the phone with another doctor. At 9:34am I asked for a refund (Office manager conveniently out) and to leave because clearly me, my appointment & time is not of importance. Finally, almost 10 minutes after I am down the road, Mr. Brezina calls back says You can come back if want. He stated he was on the phone with a patient and hates to interrupt them. If you know you hate interrupting patients and they have questions that talk alot then do not engage in phone conversations prior to a patient coming into the office for their SCHEDULED appointment. This is what I interpreted, black women/people are not of importance to him and likely this practice based on the lack treatment or concern received today. Dr. Brezina is a God send and my interactions with everyone from nurses, ultrasound techs, lab techs, nurses on call, billing, reception were positive.Unfortunately most fertility treatment is elective, costly, and paid out of pocket. If some people are confused by that, it isnt the fault of FAM and their physicians. We had an entire meeting with Dr. Brezina before beginning the IVF process to discuss nothing but the planning, schedule, and cost. Patients do bear some responsibility to stay organized and on top of things during a complex, specialized medical process like fertility treatment. Just my two cents.

Many Doctors offices have heavy phone volume but you can at least leave a voicemail or are at least told to please hold.

I decided to update my review. I believe that everything happens for a reason and when you feel slighted God has a way of working things out. I received a phone call from Dr. Kutteh last night and we talked about my process and are finally on the same page. I truly more than anything want this to be a wonderful process and sometimes all it takes is a phone call to make things right. Thank you Dr. Kutteh for being a human being and seeing me as a person and not just another number.

Dr. Bailey and her nurse are total failures - they are not dedicated to work, they just want to make money. They dont deserve any good reputationThey dont care for patients well and fail to balance medication before embryo transfer, so pregnancy fails

I am so glad that we took the step to visit FAM. Dr. Bailey helped my husband & I to finally have our 1st baby, and we couldt be any happier! She always made sure all of our questions were answered and did not rush through our visits. They run all kinds of tests to rule out reasons for the infertility, and all the staff is so helpful and kind. I would recommend FAM 100%!

My appointment is scheduled 3/24 after the phone call with receptionist. I will be canceling. If your not rich then you dont need a baby from my understanding. My husband and I desire a baby but I do not have 400 a visit. I asked when I come to my appointment could I set up a payment plan. The receptionist said no if you dont have money cancel your appointment.

We have been going to Dr. Brezina at Fertility Associates since 2013. We have had absolutely the best experience. Dr. Brezina and the FAM staff are amazing. Infertility is an emotional stressful issue and they have mourned with us through the bad parts and rejoiced with is in the good. I would highly recommend this clinic for anyone having difficulty growing their family.

Dr Kutteh is very detail oriented and ensures that we get to the root cause of the problem and a possible solution with appropriate testing, and well deserved to be leading this center of excellence. However, recently one of the front office staff refused for me getting my labs done as ordered by my Dr. after making me wait for an hour she inappropriately ina rude manner as witnessed by other patients in the room informed that I am past due for $22 for medical records that were transferred for a second opinion that was done 2 months ago for which the 2nd opinion provider was responsible for and I was unaware of. I appreciate Dr Kutteh addressing and following up on this matter with me.

I have a bicornuate uterus. I have been to 4 different gynecologist where I live. No one can figure out exactly why I have the problems I do that I wont explain in detail, but they referred me to go here. My insurance wouldnt cover. I called my insurance to see what could be done. They looked for an outer source Dr but couldnt find one, so they told me they would pay if they facility would authorize. However, they still would not see me. That being said, I am currently looking for someone who will see me & just provide some clarity about my condition .

I had to provide a sample there for a long-term study Im a part of. The women talking and laughing as loudly as they could in the adjoining room made the process as uncomfortable as possible. Theres a severe lack of professionalism here at every point. The waiting room wasnt clean, and there was a decorative water fountain in pieces in it. The receptionists were very confused and seemed like they had rushed in seconds before I arrived. No one was pleasant or friendly or gave me information about what was going on, which they are supposed to do in order for actual informed consent. Although I wasnt there to help create a child, I wouldnt want to start a human life in this place.

The staff is extremely rude. They don’t answer the phone or pick up and transfer you before you can even say anything, they don’t return calls so you miss out on necessary treatments and procedures due to lack of communication. The andrologist, lab techs, nurses, Drs all just rude and incompetent. I’m sure many of the good reviews are fake. Would not recommend.
