Ovation Wellness

Very discouraged right now with Ovation. I had blood work on Mon. No one has called me to go over blood work & refill my prescription. I have left messages all day yesterday called and left messages. Its now Friday 5 days later. I am out of my hormones & still no one has messaged or called me back. I am so scared I will be without until Monday. This is a bit ridiculous and I am very disappointed in this Place !!!

Thank you Valley for the empathy and true concern for me as a person, not just a patient. Worth the 2 hour drive no doubt.The service you provide to me, pellet HRT, has been life changing, for the better.

Ovation Wellness has assisted with changing my life. Dr. Hildabrand is an amazing doctor. She not only makes you feel like family, she addresses all concerns, and makes honest suggestions according to your needs or concerns! The entire staff makes you feel like family as well!

Mickie is an excellent and professional nurse practitioner with a PhD in her field of experience. She has worked diligently with me to correct my longstanding hormone imbalance, which in turn has improved my sleep patterns and more importantly my migraines.I had a TVH and removal of my ovaries in October of 2020. My hormone imbalance was tipping the scales in one direction, to the point that it seemed there was no hope. However, Mickie is wise and experienced and she knew that if we took our time, she could figure it out; AND SHE DID !She is a WEALTH of knowledge. However, you would never know it, because she is so easy to talk to and has a wonderful sense of humor. She is kind, but she tells you the truth of the situation in a gentle but straightforward manner.Since I am a health care provider myself, I can objectively say that I would never see anyone else in this field of primary care. I am so very grateful that I found Mickie as my PCP for my HRT.

My NP was very prompt with my telehealth visit. She explained all of my lab results and answered all of my questions. I could not have had a better experience. The office called within minutes of our visit and scheduled my next appointment. My prescription was sent to my pharmacy in record time. Very professional and caring. I would highly recommend.

No one I talk to has had a doctor to balance their hormones. I tell them all about Ovation Wellness. One commented that all doctors should do it.I was very concerned about the blood draw today. I informed the phlebotomist that I am a hard stick with different draw problems. She was so gentle and delicate. Got all she needed in just one stick. I had to sing her praise.

Valley has been so helpful! I’m not waking up on fire anymore- I’m cool and comfy all night. She’s very easy to talk to - and has a myriad of options for problem-solving. Give it a few visits and months. She can do a lot, but it’s a process.

Ms. Mickie and Ms. Val are fantastic as I’ve have seen them both. Both very informative, compassionate, and possess EXCELLENT bedside manners.I recently developed an issue in which I was sent to the ER for a CT and was told to consult with my OB-GYN. I knew that Ovation wouldn’t be able to handle this issue so I reached out requesting recommendation and the response I received from Nurse Mary Margaret floored me. She brings up a letter that I never received via mail, I contacted USPS after reviewing my informed delivery, and they have opened an investigation.My issue is why bring up that I should have received a letter, I inform you I didn’t receive it. And u still don’t inform me of what the letter said but you see it in my chart. If there are clinic changes inform the patient because I clearly had no idea.If it wasn’t for the nice young lady in which I spoke with I still wouldn’t know the context of the letter. She thoroughly explained to me that Ovation was focusing more on hormonal therapy. Which I can understand that, instead of the rude message I received that left me in the dark.Effective communication and compassion goes along way.

Everyone at this office is super friendly and very helpful. Everyone I came in contact with was amazing. Dr. Autry is wonderful to be seen by. She takes her time with you and answers all your questions. Not one of these other doctors to run in and say a few words and then run out and leave you clueless. Fantastic clinic and the doctor is amazing. She listens, she’s very thorough, and she explains everything in detail. They have the best phlebotomist in the area. I have tiny veins that tend to roll and are very very hard for blood draws but they never have an issue getting it the first time. I drive in five hours from Texas just to see her when I need bloodwork because we are adjusting, she is more than willing to do telehealth meetings in between so I don’t have to make the drive every time and is just as thorough in those as in the office. She is truly made a difference in my life!

The nurse who drew my blood was so kind and professional. She was so good at her job I didnt even feel the needle go in my arm. She was finished before I knew she had started. Plus, I was out the door just 5 minutes after my appointment time.

I had hormone problems for 5 years, Dr. After Dr. Told me there was no way I was in menopause or having the problems I was having because I was too young. finally a patient at my clinic told me about Mickie, i figured I had nothing else to lose so i made an appointment. For nearly a year I have been going to doctors and telling them that I have experienced unexplained rapid weight gain, and beyond excessive fatigue, and not one of them checked anything other than the usual. In one visit I found out that my VIT D levels were extremely low as well as my testosterone levels. I have been told by several doctors that it’s not unusual to experience weight gain at my age, as they were sure I was premenopausal. Yet not one of them checked to see if I was. One visit here and I actually have answers.I do not think I can express how much she has helped me since my first visit. She listens to me and does not make me feel my concerns are invalid. She is always so upbeat and supportive. Her positive attitude towards my concerns really help to ease my worries. I would highly recommend anyone dealing with issues they cannot get answers to, to go see her. You honestly do not know just how much an imbalance of any hormone can affect your overall health.

I’m really dismayed at how Amanda Ellis gets to throw around the N-word just because she’s had a few drinks. Saying she’s about to turn into a “ghetto n****r.” I’ve been to this clinic and will NEVER return!! Especially if you have nurses like that! Being an African-American woman how am I to trust she has my best interest at heart?

Dr.Micka is a loving & caring Doctor. I travel from Meridian to see her. She is so professional & upfront. I love that about her. I wouldn’t trade Dr. Micka for no other Doctor.

Usually I get in and out but this time was different. Waited in the room an hour before seeing the Dr and I heard someone outside my door say lets get some air going in here. Boy did they, I was freezing and my teeth were chattering like I was in freezer by the time I finally got out. Apt was at 3:30 and I was the last person they checked out. Receptionist almost beat me to her car. Not sure what was going on this visit.

Other than the wait being almost an hour after my appointment time, I highly recommend Ovations. It’s much better than just seeing your gynecologist.

Nurse Amanda L. Ellis is very racist and doesn’t take the care of black people as seriously as she does the whites. She has a misconception that people of color are of less value than others and has hate in her heart for a specific type of people based on the color of their skin. I could never trust her to take care of anyone, let alone black people or people of color. She should be immediately fired and made to never work at any hospital again. She uses racial slurs, such as “ghetto n***er drunk” in her free time.

Wonderful experience! The doctor was very attentive and focused on my treatment and helping me....more than any other provider had been in the past. I’m so thankful for Dr. Harris and the doctors at Ovation.
