5 stars! Open 7 days a week, unlike our regular doctors. Great staff! Clean office! Scheduled appointment online! Diagnosed everything! Sent prescription information to pharmacy. What’s there not to like!? Highly recommend! A+!For Laguna Beach parents (other towns too) they also do athletic waiver clearances if your pediatric office is too booked.

I scheduled an appointment late last night. Found an appointment for 10:00 am next day. I arrived 5 mins early. Staff was friendly and prepared for my visit. Wait time was short. MA was polite. NP was professional and thorough. My needs were met. I was very happy with the care I received. This is my favorite Urgent care, it has been since they opened.

Review:I recently visited the office where the front desk staff was incredibly friendly and professional. The offices themselves were impressively clean and comfortable. I had gone in for some lab work with specific testing requested. After the labs came back, the provider Matt called to inform me that everything was clear. However, I later discovered that I had actually tested positive and was not given the proper treatment. This experience has taught me the importance of requesting that lab results be sent to me directly instead of relying on information given over the phone. So, I would advise others to be cautious and ask for their lab results to be sent to them directly to avoid any miscommunication or oversight.

Beautifully clean facility. The entire staff was Wonderful. Very knowledgeable and patient medical care. The best nurse practitioner. I’m very thankful. The best experience I’ve ever had at an urgent care. Thank you Team for a wonderful experience. It means a lot when not feeling well.

I was 60 miles away from home. I grew up with my family all going to the same Hospital, and my sisters and I all see the same Family Doctor that watched us grow up, back at home our Docs are apart of the fam. So when I injured my arm surfing, nowhere near home it was scary being far away from my family. At Surfside the male assistant helped wheel me in, and Dr. Deyoung took good care of me. He looked very wise in his practice, and he was, they both helped ASAP. He knew what he was doing and that eased my worries. Job well done. Staff was polite. There was a small miscommunication but that was beautifully settled. I naturally prefer my Doctors but if you need help fast with experienced Doctors and a good staff this is the place to go! Welcoming and comforting staff who go above and beyond to care for their patients. Front office staff, nurses and doctors are top-notch! I have four children and have been going to Dr. Ridder since my first born was 5 days old (he is 18 years old today). Dr. Ridder’s compassionate and genuine care for myself and my childrens overall health is what makes me choose his office over any other doctor, as well as the kids pediatric group, for all our health care and medical assistance. Dr. Ridder and his staff are a blessing to have in our Community and I am grateful for their service.

Best urgent care Ive ever been to. The waiting room is beautiful, clean, and relaxing. They saw me very quickly. The nurse was very friendly and took the time to listen and fully understand my issue. The Dr. was excellent and also took all the time he needed to help me. Not only that but he educated me about my issue and gave me some very helpful and detailed information. He did not rush with me in the slightest. I will definitely recommend this place to everyone I know. A lot of times you cant trust reviews online so Ill just say go see for yourself. Youll be glad you did.

Everyone was very professional, polite, friendly, and exhibited a true caring attitude. Staff were efficient. The Tech Jose who took my vitals and did the rapid test was equally pleasant and skilled. He made me feel so comfortable, The physician was also professional and took time to explain all aspects in a respectful and friendly way.

As a kid, i spent a lot of time in doctor’s offices, having trouble advocating for myself while dr.’s dismissed me… this was the most positive urgent care experience i’ve had in 24 years! i was in and out with the proper testing, diagnosis and prescriptions in an hour. ONLY AN HOUR!!! 🤩😍 the environment is clean, calm, nonjudgmental and my partner was welcomed to the examination room with me because i was feeling anxious. all of the staff did an amazing job helping me get the care i needed- even when CVS claimed they couldn’t provide me with my medicine for days to come… yall helped me in minutes… minutes!!! i couldn’t recommend surfside enough.

The office staff were pleasant and efficient. The office was not busy and I was able to see a doctor quickly. Dr. Difronzo was very knowledgeable and compassionate. I would definitely come back. After my visit I called to get a note, one was emailed immediately.*Update, I recently returned to get checked out for viral symptoms with fever. The staff immediately took precautions to quarantine me in a room. The doctor I met with was very knowledgeable and understanding. She was able to determine I had a cold but gave me medications and suggestions to ease the discomfort. The staff here is always friendly and the doctors always do their best to make sure you’ll be feeling better quickly. I will definitely return.

Sadly, my family has been here many times😊😊.The best Urgent Care we have ever been to.The building and interior is wonderful- clean, friendly, basically hip. Cheerful!The staff, nurses, Dr.s are EXCEPTIONAL.The wait is always less than 10 minutes and even if was 30 minutes you wouldn’t mind spending it there.Great place- I’d recommend anyone to go there.

This place is so great! Not like any past experiences at a walk-in clinic. Helpful nurses, no long wait, a very clean and relaxing environment that was more like visiting a friends beach cottage in Laguna.The Doctor was excellent and took the time to explain everything well. I was even able to purchase the RX I needed without waiting, saving me another trip to the pharmacy when feeling awful. Who knew a trip to Urgent Care could be so positive.

LOVE Surfside Urgent Care. Used them two years ago for a tetanus shot. Today rapid response Covid test results. Their staff is always professional and super friendly. Great customer service. Great communication. Highly recommend and will continue to use for urgent care needs.

This facility is a great addition to our community. I had slipped on the tennis court where I live and took a really bad fall, trying to avoid the high cost of the emergency room, I remember seeing an ad for Surfside urgent Care so I called them up they were very friendly on the phone were able to get me in immediately for an x-ray and to be seen by the doctor. The women in the front were very helpful with the paperwork and they got me in the back to an examination room immediately. The doctor was professional courteous kind and efficient and the facility overall was beautiful. It was very clean very bright and very calming.I will definitely be back should the need arise. And they took Medicare!!

Quick, easy, and very friendly staff! They made it as seamless as possible. I received my covid test results via text 15 minutes after they came out to my car to swab my nose. I didn’t even have to wait there after the test was taken. :) I recommend!

The staff was profession and knowledgeable. The facility is clean and bright. I walk in with a specific need for consultation due to a issue with my prescription from Florida. My issue was quickly resolved and I was on my way. Overall I would say the whole experience exceeded my expectations. Thanks again.

I HIGHLY recommend Surfside Urgent Care... I looked up urgent cares near me after my foot was getting worse days after a bee string. Surfside was a little further from me, but had positive reviews, so I decided to go there. I was very impressed as soon as I walked in the door. It was clean and beautifully decorated, felt more like a home than a medical facility. Things only got better from there. The ladies at the front desk were very welcoming, friendly and very informative. The medical assistant, also very friendly, administered 2 necessary injections which were absolutely painless (and I HATE needles). And Mike, the Medical practitioner, was fabulous as well. Very informative and light hearted, making this experience no big deal at all. No one wants to have to go to Urgent Care, but Id go back there in a heartbeat.

I went there a few months ago to try to get a diagnosis and treatment for my lingering cough and congestion. The PA that interviewed me asked me what do you have? I told her my symptoms and she repeated What do you have ? What is wrong with you? I told her that was her job to let me know what I had. Her answer: You know your body better than I do. I told her to prescribe me an antibiotic. She did and I left very disappointed in the level of professionalism that they exhibited. Such is our healthcare system today.

The test process was very organized and efficient. I arrived a bit early to check in and was done by the time my appointment was scheduled to start. They were very kind too. It takes amazing people to perform these essential jobs. I am so thankful.

The best urgent care clinic I’ve been to. I have been to this clinic twice, once for my daughter and the second time for me. On both occasions we received an excellent and thorough care. The place is clean, there was no waiting and everyone was very nice and diligent.

Amazing team with onsite pharmacy and skilled medical professionals. I was a new patient and in and out in under an hour. The doctor was proactive: sending me home with an Rx in case I got worse! I’m impressed. He said, you don’t want to have to come back just to pay another copay to get a prescription, do you?Can I also say the entire team was smart, friendly and caring - this was unexpected and IMO rare - but so very much appreciated!! Ya know a little kindness goes so far to others, but especially when we aren’t at our best.In closing, the facility is beautiful!! Beach theme and ocean view!! But the whole staff was the shinning star.

While being on a short weekend getaway I fell down the Thousand Steps beach entrance and injured my ankle. Not wanting to end my vacation by sitting in the emergency room for hours we found this wonderful Urgent Care. The staff was so friendly, informative and did their best to get me in and out as quickly as possible. They explained everything they were doing, what needed to be done upon discharge and took the time to answer all my questions including financial and insurance questions. Beautiful new Urgent Care in Laguna Beach. I stopped in for a TB test and was in and out quickly. Very convenient, no need for an appointment. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. The doctor was patient and calm and even answered some questions I had regarding a previous health concern. Little hard to find since they just have a banner. Its located right next to Three Arch Bay community. They have there own FREE PARKING lot! I will come back again next time i need to see a doctor.

The support staff is wonderful. In addition to facilitating our needs for 91-year-old grande madam, they were also incredibly professional and patient with some of the unruly customers who came in for covid testing, including one full-on Covid Karen and a few arrogant, entitled idjits.Their processes and procedures are streamlined for maximum efficiency, and the provision staff are thorough and highly capable. Great place to come, whatever you urgent care needs. Thank you for such great attention to details that really matter.

My teenage daughter had been dealing with dizziness and not feeling well for the first few days of our vacation so we took her Surfside urgent care to get looked at. Amazing! Very cute and comfortable decor and super clean facility! The staff was very professional and had us in and out within 45 minutes. The doctor even followed up with a phone call the next day to see how she was doing and see if we had any other questions. If you have to be at an urgent care on vacation, this is the place to go! Very impressive and makes an unfortunate situation a pleasant experience!

Super impressed with my first visit (for a Covid test). Very fast, efficient and everyone was really friendly. I was in and out in five minutes and had results texted to me before I got home. I called back later with a question and they were very polite and helpful.

Honestly they didn’t work with my insurance however they were really understanding of my situation and worked with me. It was my first time going to a doctor in Southern California since my move in August of 2018 and they were by far better than any I have been too. They explained my problems and what they believed I have and are by far the best location wise and staff wise I have gone to. Without my insurance coverage it was a bit pricey but definitely worth the visit overall. They allowed my partner and I to be in the same room and looked at together. I was a bit nervous so it eased my discomfort heavily. They were more than accommodating and easy to talk to. I highly recommend Surfside Urgent Care.

Surfside Urgent Care has a great location. Parking was easy and the office is beautiful. Staff was professional and friendly. Short wait. Low cost. Dr. Marc Shomer provided the kind of care you want when you don’t feel well. I will definitely return next time me or anyone in my family falls ill. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. Really a great place to go for tests before cruising. Professional; thorough and efficient. In and out in 20 minutes. The place is the cleanest I have ever seen, and all staff take precautions to make sure the place is spotless and sanitized.

Love! Love! Love! This place. Im not sure how long its been around, I dont think its been very long because Ive never seen it. I dont usually write reviews, but I honestly had a wonderful experience here. My husband and I were there for 30min! Thats insane for urgent care time. The only thing I didnt love was the fact that they are not able to perform x-rays, but the Dr. did say they eventually will have that ability. My husband has been dealing with lower back pain for almost a year now, and with our lousy HMO, its hard to get clearance to see a specialist. The Dr here was very friendly, and knowledgeable, and gave us tips on how to get the best results. Thank you again!

I took my 18mo old grandson here. He had a sore ear, vomiting, severe diarrhea, loss ofappetite. I explained the problem to 3 different nurses and then had to repeat it once more to the dr. 3 nurses couldnt get a oxygen reading. Dr said his ears were fine and told us to go to the E.R. he did have a ear infection. He was given Zofran and an antibiotic. .Waste of time and money.

Very organized and safe. Only waited for 10 minutes for Civid test. They took every precaution by having me wait outside and sanitized used pens. Had results within 20 minutes. Thank you for making it so easy.

Very clean clinic and friendly staff. Very efficient in assessing my bee sting and prescribing the right thing to get me back on track quickly, as well as some backup medication should there have been an emergency. Surfside urgent care of Laguna Beach followed up promptly. I recovered after day 3 of 6. Very impressed, most definitely recommend.

Best urgent care I’ve been to in LB. staff is so nice seen within 5 minutes - the doctor is a former ER physician who examined me for a car accident and was so knowledgeable of my condition Highly highly recommend for all your urgent care needs. Very nice facility clean and staff was so courteous.

These guys are greedy. We paid our co-pay in cash the day we visited. Mistake was payment in cash. We dont have evidence. We threw the receipt. You cant walk out of there w/o paying co-pay. But, these guys submitted us to collections agency. Ureal. I would never ever go here again, would definitely not pay in cash

I’ve been a client here for two years, got 6 rapid tests at $175 each done and also seen their doctor fir a different issue.Was at the tire shop across the street and had to leave my car there. Walked over and asked seaside if I could have a disposable mask for my Uber, and the girl very rudely told me no.Kind of a silly thing to write a review about, but honestly that’s just ridiculous when they have boxes full of them right there on the desk. You don’t have to be rude about it, she could’ve explain why if there’s some reason.

I went to investigate what is involved with a Covid test. Before I was out of the car a nurse came up to my window to assist me. I have gotten two tests with results within 15 minutes or one day so I can visit friends and family with peace of mind. Wonderful service!

Recently I returned for my 3rd visit to Surfside Urgent Care - this time for a knee injury. As always, Surfside staff were friendly, professional & efficient. I spent about 30 minutes there, had x-rays, saw the M.D. who made the diagnosis and prescribed treatment. They had everything I needed right there. I so appreciated that such a knowledgeable and warm group of practitioners is so close & accessible. Highly recommend

So glad a found a nice place. Finally, A Great urgent care near me, one of the Best Urgent Care Experiences in Laguna Beach. They took my insurance and I was so happy I could just walk-in to this nice clinic and see a doctor without an appointment. I did not even have to wait. Score!

First time we were treated here it was great. The second time, we were seen by Dr Tilly who was so afraid of Covid she made us go outside to be seen. She then referred us to ER, rather than giving my daughter a needed breathing treatment. Very disappointing when our healthcare professionals act like cowards.

Needed a quick covid test recently, they made it super easy as they came out to my car and quickly swabbed me, I waited 20 minutes and got the negative results right in my car. They also ANSWER THEIR PHONE. What a nice change when you have questions.They were also wonderful a couple of years ago when my elderly mother came down with the flu. HIghly recommend.

I have no problem with this service- but, they open at 8 a.m. - the first employee rolled in at 7:59, the remaining employees at 8:10. Maybe a little tough, I’m a very prompt person and I showed up at 7:55. The Covid test was quick which is appreciated.

We are so lucky in Laguna to have this place, came in with the flu and was feeling terrible. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to make me comfortable. The doctor not only treated me but helped me understand the different things I could have and how he was going through his diagnosis. So helpful, I wish he was a GP, would love to have him as my primary.Thanks guys you are all stellar!

I was well taken care of from the moment I walked in the door. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I felt they had my best interest at heart. I was amazed to get a “follow up” call the next morning asking if I was feeling any better, and they encouraged me to return if I had concerns or new symptoms.

Came here twice just to get misdiagnosed both times. The doctors(I had a gentlemen’s the first day and a woman the second) both seemed like they just wanted to get me out of there as quick as possible. They just threw drugs at me pretty much not knowing what was wrong. I have no infection and they gave my pretty strong antibiotics anyway. To no ones surprise the antibiotics did nothing so they also agreed I stop taking them. That being said I have my masters degree in toxicology so I have a basic understanding of what does what. Yes, I know I am not a doctor. I came back the second time in distress due to intense pain, they gave me a shot that they claimed would help but did nothing. They gave me nothing for the pain, I explained that I cannot sleep and all the drugs prescribed to me were incorrect for what was going on. Before I left doctor was being very stand offish after my comments & pretty much wouldn’t talk to me - even though I was just trying to solve a problem they were unable to while i was in severe pain. Will never be coming back here. I will not be able to sleep tonight due to pain because my cannot see a specialist until tomorrow. Will probably end up going to the ER if it keeps getting worse in the next few hours. Just sucks I went to them and I paid just to get misinformed.That being said, all the nurses and other staff were amazing!! This does not apply to everyone else, just the 2 doctors I had an interaction with!

I was well cared for at Surfside and left feeling better. Their office is warm and the staff is friendly.

When I arrived for my test I was told that the rapid test would be $175. The regular test could be charged to my insurance. The regular test results could take as long as 10 days. I have symptoms and now I have to start looking for a place that isn’t trying to take advantage of sick people. I mean, 10 days. I will either be fine OR NOT. At no time in making the appointment did it say that the rapid test would cost that much money.

No line and amazing service. Doctor was the most progressive and intelligent doctor I’ve ever seen at an Urgent Care. He listened and was patient and gave all the options- instead of jumping to one assumed answer. Amazing! And will go back should we need to.

This is a great place to get a rapid COVID test. Easy to make an appointment online, and then drive-up is easy too -- maybe 10-15 minute car line wait. Then I got the result texted to me in only a half hour! Only problem is of course it is so expensive $176 and insurance does not cover :(

The care was good, but be aware that Surfside Urgent Care will OVERCHARGE YOU and YOU MAY BE HIT WITH A BIG UNEXPECTED BILL.I visited for a minor injury in 2021. The lady doctor was great, spent time helping me understand the treatment and how to take care of it myself afterwards.I am conscious about cost because I cannot afford expensive medical bills. Before receiving care, I spoke with the receptionist about how much it would cost and what is covered by insurance. They said that the total would be $X and I could pay out of pocket now, and it would be settled. I could afford this amount and I proceeded with receiving services, then paid right there on the spot. They told me it was settled.However, a month later, I received a bill in the mail for another several hundred dollars. I called to clarify and see if there was a billing mistake. They told me that the charge through insurance was more than what the receptionist told me. So, the receptionist was not honest or upfront about what the total cost would be, even though I asked repeatedly for clarity on exactly how much it would cost. I have had several conversations with their billing department,. In light of my situation, where I was quoted a different cost than what they billed, they said they could speak with a supervisor. But I never heard back from them after that. They stopped returning my calls and they stopped responding to my emails. They have just continued to send bills in the mail. Now, I have no choice but to pay because it could go to collections. Surfside Urgent Care will bully you into paying whatever amount they bill afterwards, even if they have quoted you a different amount before the service.In short, the care is good, but BE CAREFUL ABOUT HOW MUCH THEY CHARGE YOU. Lack of pricing transparency is a problem at many medical establishments, but Surfside Urgent Care is extremely bad. I asked extensively to clarify the cost before receiving care, but the receptionist straight up lied about the total, so now Im on the hook for much more than they said. I acted as a responsible medical consumer, clarifying costs before receiving service, but Surfside Urgent Care was not transparent or honest about costs and have hit me with a big additional bill after I already paid out of pocket. Im not planning to ever go back.Update: I was able to work with the office to reach a fair payment, i.e. they agreed to not charge me more than they originally stated. I appreciate their willingness to work together to solve the billing issue. However, I continued receiving bills in the mail from their billing department. Evidently, the communication between the office and the billing staff is not good. In total, I have spent >10 hours on the phone dealing with this. Despite their best efforts to remedy this mistake, I cannot recommend Surfside Urgent Care. They will overcharge you and I do not have confidence that they can resolve any billing issues without having to spend hours dealing with them. Go elsewhere.

I brought my wife in for an injury that needed immediate attention. They naturally required masks for everyone in the facility, but literally would only provide one for my wife. They wouldn’t give me one and told me to leave my wife there and go get a mask at CVS more than a mile away if I wanted to be with her in the facility. Not only would they not give me a $0.10 mask, they wouldn’t let me buy one from them to cover the high cost of a $0.10 mask. CVS, by the way, gives them away for free, as does every hospital in the country. This is not a “care center.” The people who work there should be embarrassed.

Came here for a rapid antigen covid test on Christmas Eve. I booked an appointment the day before and was in and out in about 30 mins with results. I would definitely recommend this urgent care for a very easy and stress free experience.

The Healthcare system is broken in this country. This place, like any other, first of all a business maximizing its profit, and providing care is just a cover to be a legitimate business. Its not about helping people or caring. Its not urgent either- they make you fill out multiple forms, and then you sit and wait, and wait, and wait. Scam.

I went there today to get a covid test and all the staff members were really helpful. The nurse mike swabbed my nose and it’s not fun no matter how you look at it but he made the situation better. They were wonderful - the young man on the phone was especially encouraging and welcoming, I was seen quickly. The doctor was pleasant, professional, and resolved my worries with a minimum of fuss. I highly recommend this facility

I came into Surfside Urgent Care on a holiday weekend (Saturday) after being told by two other facilities that I would not be able to be helped by anyone in California until the holiday weekend was over (Tuesday), if helped at all. I was having an issue transferring a prescription whilst on vacation amongst issues with constant and severe migraines. Upon entering this Urgent Care I noticed that it was unlike any other I’ve ever seen due to the unbelievable view of Laguna Beach and the overall vibe of this location was just so.... amazing. So very clean and with a beach feel- you forget you are actually in an Urgent Care/ Doctor’s office! I could go on for ages about Dr. Marc Shomer. In my thirty something years I have never witnessed a Doctor that also possesses a PhD to boot that is so “down to earth”, that makes you feel so very welcome and that pays such close attention to your concerns and needs. The kindness that literally radiates off of this man genuinely was something to be said. As an example, and not to be long-winded but he asked how long I was in the area for on vacation and what I was interested in doing while I was here and if he might make some suggestions. I obliged and he graciously and literally hand drew up a chart of some good sights and sounds for my husband and I to see while we are in the LA area! Asking what our interests are specifically so that he could adjust our journey accordingly, as if there were no other people in the room that needed his assistance or required his attention! Not many MD’s would give you that service in my experience... and on a weekend!! I can’t thank them enough for their assistance and patience and look forward to the Doctor’s suggestions for LA. If I were to ever need anything in the way of medical assistance, I would not hesitate to return and I would advise anyone to do the same!

I was from out of town and had a bad illness. Coughing, sore throat, congestion and I couldn’t hear, ears were clogged. The doctor ( A.Nissanka) didn’t even listen to my lungs. No Covid test or any test at all. He checked my ears and said I have earwax buildup and suggested I get some otc Debrox. No offer of irrigating my ears for relief. He told me I had a virus and just had to wait it out. He offered a Zpak but said it probably wouldn’t help.It’s two weeks later and I have serious hearing loss and am on an antibiotic for ear infection. My doctor says I may have permanent hearing loss. I don’t write reviews but this clinic had 5 star reviews and that’s why I chose it. The office staff were friendly and efficient but I found the doctor to be incompetent, aloof and careless.

I needed the results of a COVID test for surgery. I gave them the information necessary and provided the contact information for my physician. They never contacted the physician like they said they would. I called many times and could not reach anyone. I traveled to the office in person and asked them again to fax my results to the doctor’s office. They said they would do so. I am now at the doctor’s for my surgery. The results have not been sent over and they are not answering the phone.

Secret is out! This is an extremely clean and efficiently run medical facility staffed with extremely knowledgeable doctors and nurse assistants. Unfortunately, have been a patient twice there over the last year and both times had my experience with “Dr. Mike”. He was so detailed in sharing pros and cons of care for each of my illnesses.

Quick and efficient and I really enjoyed the nurse practitioner. He was very thorough and very nice.

This a great Urgent Care! Our male nurse Grant was professional, informative, and extremely caring. He made our day and we will continue to come to this urgent care if needed. They really do take care of their patients.

They were absolutely amazing. I was out of town and got some type of bite. The last thing I wanted to do was go to urgent care, but they were so friendly & accommodating and made the process very easy! I’d definitely recommend them, hands down!

It was refreshing to meet a doctor and his staff who remember to treat the people who walk through the door like human beings. True to the Hippocratic oath, Dr. Mike demystified basic medicine, put me at ease and made me feel a whole lot better. Happy to know this crew is part of our community.

Visiting from TX, just happened to get strep first day of vacation. First plus was they take walk-ins. But I never visited a clinic that seemed so relaxed. From front desk, to vitals, to doctor, all personnel were very kind. Being out of state I thought I would lose $$ bigtime. But it was the other way around, very affordable! They saved my trip, was even lucky enough to get my meds right there without the pharmacy runaround. Even considering my problems were not complicated, I still believe this is the best general clinic I will ever visit.

I have been there three times and each time I was treated professionally, knowledgeably and the doctor was completely through to help find out what was wrong with me-the staff is the very best and goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable when you are sick-they remember you when you come in and have all your insurance and medications and allergies stored so you do not have to give them all the information again-they are all so nice which really helps when you are not feeling well -this is definitely the best Urgent Care I have ever been in-

The staff was very welcoming and friendly upon arrival. The facility is extremely clean as well. Came in for a severe soar throat thinking I had strep as we are from out of town and came in to laguna beach for our anniversary. Strep test came back negative after staff thoroughly checked my vitals and took a rapid throat culture and sent a culture off to the lab;surfside stated they will call me in a couple of days with results of the negative strep and let me j ow if I need to take antibiotics. Provided a steroid injection to help with the severe soar throat which they stated will help. I would greatly recommend this place for individuals which are out of town or even local as Nurses and physician assistant were kind, processional and knowledgeably!

Super efficient and friendly employees. Cheery, bright and beachy decoration makes you already feel better when you walk in. I was in and out in max 20 min with my medication which was available right on side. Highly recommend!

My husband contracted the flu while we were on vacation. I googled an Urgent Care and Surfside Urgent Care of Laguna popped up. Staff was thorough, friendly and helpful. He was seen very quickly and we were on our way with scripts forThe Pharmacy. Thanks for your help!

Absolutely horrible, i wish i could give this zero stars. same thing happened twice, two different injuries. they missed the most OBVIOUS break in the clavicle and wrote “no fracture or other acute abnormality” on the report when it is completely broken in half. they failed to prescribe pain medication when this is clearly a VERY painful break and told the patient to “just take aleve and ibuprofen”. DONT GO HERE. I have so much more to say about this place but out of respect of the patient, I will not. Maybe Surfside is okay for covid testing but that’s it. Don’t go here for injuries or x-rays. HUGE WASTE OF TIME. So absolutely disappointed and angry with these TWO, not just one, TWO!! huge mistakes. ZERO STARS

My experience was great. More importantly they figured out what was wrong and I was in and out in a jiffy.

Got the rapid Covid test. Actually was seen before my appointment time. Simple, fast and easy. Professional and engaging staff. Results texted back in about 15 minutes. Thank you!

I called Surfside urgent care back in June 2020 to get testing.I sat in the drive line and they set up appointment with me and verified my insurance. They told me they did take my PPO. I came back for my appointment & took the test when the manager came out and said they dont take PPOs. They offered to not charge me and said they will send to lab. In December 2020, I get my first bill from the lab saying I was not covered. I called Seaside Urgent care & Christina said there are two charges: 1 - office visit; 2 - labwork; I would be covered for the office visit. I said what is this lab bill as I was covered? Christina pushed me off and said I have to deal with lab & they are not involved. Then for some reason, a PA got on the phone named GRANT & he told me they have nothing to do with lab. I told him I was upset and HE HUNG UP ON ME! Yes a Physician Assistant is supposed to be professional. I do not recommend this place to anyone! They never do as they say and dont care about your billing. Never going to this location ever again & I have told all my friends & family!

The receptionists was super nice and helpful. Greeted us when we walked in and answered all our questions. The nurse and Dr. we’re super nice and helpful too and answered our questions. Wonderful experience would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Dr. D took the time to address all of my concerns as well as give me a complete education on viruses vs. bacterial infections. Even though he suspected that I have a virus, he is running the tests that I requested and wrote me a script just in case. The facility is clean and everyone who works there is friendly and efficient. Thank you for the excellent service today!

Came in for quick visit... After a little paperwork with the super helpful staff, I was able to see the doctor. Everyone was super caring and helpful, will definitely be back if need be!

Our daughter was misdiagnosed by the doctor and sent home with an antibiotic which was not appropriate. She ended up in ER and was told it would have become sepsis if we had not have taken her to ER. We ignored the Surfside doctors advice and went with our instincts thank goodness. Doctor was arrogant, dismissive and disinterested. Will not go back.

Most organized, clean, efficient ER I have ever experienced. Entire staff was friendly and thorough. Can’t imagine what they deal with everyday in this era of Covid.

Waiting times are always long 1.5 hour plus so give yourself lots of time.. People came in testing for. Covid sitting inside while waiting to get tested touching pens, papers, chairs. Waiting room quite busy. I was taken off guard about that. Would reconsider going back for that reason alone.

Got a rapid COVID test. It was very fast- the process was efficient and everyone was very nice. The atmosphere of the place was delightful -beachy and updated, just great to be in there. So glad I found it!

Parking is not the greatest, however you’re literally in and out. The rapid test was fast. Waited 5 minutes and they called my name and I was on my way. I definitely recommend it.

It was a positive experience from the minute we stepped through the door. The receptionist was friendly and very helpful. The PA was thorough and knowledgeable, which helped me feel more comfortable.

I love how clean and friendly all of the staff is. I recently went into surfside with a ruptured appendix. I had no idea it had ruptured and wasn’t going to go into the dr but because of the level of comfort I feel going into surfside I went, and luckily caught it. I came in with an ear ache and felt immediately better when I left. The facility is clean and bright. I didnt wait long to be seen. Very organized process for check-in and the staff was very kind & friendly.

Pretty cool spot! Went for a cov test and got scolded for coughing and asked to “go outside”! Can’t say I blame them! That’s 2022 for you! Everyone was on point and handling business! Clean and cozy facility

Front desk and the nurses were great. I have plenty of complaints for Mike the PAC. I came in 18 weeks pregnant (I live out of town) because I was getting a sore throat. He diagnosed me with the flu without doing a flu swab so I asked for a flu swab which came back negative. He insisted I still had the flu and gave me tamiflu. Now, because of the tamiflu that I didn’t need to take, I have developed a rash on my face and suffered from severe vomiting each time I took a dose. I only took two doses before catching on. He was extremely unprofessional, told me he was avoiding having kids at all cost (so rude to say to a pregnant woman) used foul language through most of the appointment and tried to scare me with “how much worse” I was going to get over the next few days and even drew a graph so I could see how “shitty” I’d feel. Honestly, he shouldn’t be allowed to practice. Arrogant, misinformed and misdiagnosing and insulting. I’m now driving 8 hours home with hoping I’m doing with the horrible vomiting(it seems to stop after I throw up the tamiflu) Thanks for absolutely nothing other than jeaprodizing me and my baby.

Fast and excellent care, very friendly and competent people, they took good care of me when I broke my foot on the 4th of July. Super fast x-ray results (like done in 10 mins).

Most efficient set up for Covid testing. Made an appt, filled out the form upon check in, and was done 5 minutes after. No lines or crowds, it was ideal.

Very friendly staff. I arrived early and was taken back before my scheduled appointment. The results were given to me within 10 minutes in hard copy form.

On top of it! No wait. Staff was understanding and nice. Doc was honest and consulted with an Optomologist to be sure my chemically burned eye was properly treated. I am happy I was treated there.

Do Not use Surfside Urgent Care for COVID -19 testing! Its been 9 days & still waiting for my test results despite calling 3 times & checking my patient portal. Today I was told that the lab ran out of reagent and there is a backlog of all swabbings done - those done 2 days prior to my test are still waiting their results! Seriously???

Went here for COVID testing and there was a mix up for test results, but owner personally called me and refunded my results and staff was extremely incredible and made the process easier.

Surfside urgent care has some of the best young ladies with upbeat personality positive frequency and always there to assist and help and answer your questions this is truly a very very good place to go I highly recommend it.

Not much information if you test positive for covid. I was told to refer to CDC website, which I felt was a cop out. I paid for a test, the least they could do is have a doctor go over my symptoms with me, instead I got the lady who answers the phone who gave me the most generic answer ever.

I was having a heart attack and after being admitted to a room, the doctor said you’re clearly not having a heart attack and I should drive myself to mission hospital laguna beach. At laguna, they determined I was having a heart attack and was transported to mission hospital, mission viejo where I spent a week.

Fantastic urgent care, best Ive ever been to. Staff and doctor were both fantastic. If I lived closer, would probably go for all basic medical care.

I’ve been going to Surfside for a year or more now. They are the best one I’ve been to.Very clean, professional, prompt, and all the doctors I’ve seen have been excellent.

My appt was at 5:30 and I was tested and on my my way home at 5:40 when they called with my results . Super fast and super friendly!

DO NOT GET YOUR COVID 19 TEST AT THIS CLINIC! My wife and I were tested 7 days ago and now told that it will be two more days. Our son in law got tested at another clinic on Friday and got his results on Monday!
