If I could give 0, I would. Dont come to this place, they simply want $$$$$. I was charged an incredible fee of $171.77 for simply a 5 minutes talking to Dr. John Nguyen for a referral to see a specialty. I visited the office on August 1th, 8/1, for a referral per my health insurance plan and they are in the network. At the check out front desk, I was told need to pay deductible per my insurance plan, I responded that the normal procedure for a doctors office visit is that I pay copay at check out, and if there is any deductible which I am responsible to I will pay after the doctors office submit my visit claim to my insurance provider, then I will pay my deductible after receiving an EOB (Explanatioin of Benefits) from insurance provider. But they insist I have to pay my deductible then I can have my referral. Okay then I paid. Today is 8/28, almost one month from the date, 8/1, I visited the office, my insurance provider still havent received the claim. My insurance already recievd claim from the specialty office I visited on 8/7, but why Dr. John Nguyens office still havent submitted my claim? Do they think since I already paid, they dont want to be bothered and spend time working on submitting my claim? Or they dont know what information need to enter on the claim submitting form to match the deductible fee of $171.77 (5 minutes visit) I paid to them? I called the office on 8/21 to tell them submit my claim, but they still havent done it up today, 8/28. They dont submit my insurance claim is against my insurance benefits right. **Dont pay any deductible to this place until you receive your insurance EOB**
