After making an appointment and going in 15 minutes early, I was number 84. The receptionist was great on the 1st floor but after going to the second floor every number after mines was being called I was waiting for an hour already. I went back downstairs and was told the clinic doesnt take new patients like that and I should call next time. I explained to her that I made an appointment and was not told this when I came in. If there are only certain days then that should have been explained. I wasted my time going there

Its a great place for women services. and all the services that can be done. But they really need to improve on just getting a birth control shot. It should not be over 2 hours when you make an appointment. Its separate from all other things. And they need more doctors for abortions. You cant wait more than 3 hours just to get set up.

The staff is super friendly and definitely try their best but the wait time is crazy. Expect to be seen 2+ hours after your initial appointment time. Bring snacks and entertainment because you will get bored just sitting in the waiting room waiting.

I would not recommend anyone to come here. It’s convenient to residents in Jamaica because it’s easily accessible but that’s where the convenience stops. You’re given an appointment time for Gyno and even if you show up a half and hour to an hour early, you will not be seen at your appointment time. The wait time is extremely excessive, even tho exams are completed relatively quickly once you can finally get behind the door. The nurses take their time with calling people for no plain reason other than you can see them through the door carrying on long conversations and keke-ing with each other. I’m accustomed to being seen at the time of my appointment. 3 plus hours is too long. I will never come back here again.

Upon walking in, the front desk receptionists area is neat and they are polite, friendly and helpful. The entire staff on the second floor are very professional and friendly. They know how to relieve you of any anxiety by being patient and if you have trouble explaining what you are going through they are great at helping you figure it out. The GYN doctor, Dr. Ottolelenghi is also a patient and thorough doctor. Dr. Ottolenghi does not rush you. He takes time talking to you before and after an exam, making sure all you questions are answered. I would recommend him and Choices center to anyone.

Today, Im in the Emergency Room for continuous bleeding after 8 days of doubg the sergical abourtion at choices woman medical center in queens NY. The doctor told me that the procedure was not complete, so theyll have to go back in to finish it off because it will leave to continuous blood loss and infection. Smh. At choices woman medical center they do a blood work up to make sure youre fine. My result was that I was anemic, meaning my blood count is low. I believe that they didnt finish it up because they saw that .y heart rate and blood pressure were dropping during the procedure, so they stopped before finishing. I am upset they acted like everything was normal with me they treated me like an animal after I did the surgery, and not to mention, I waited that day for a length of hours. They never told me anything about what to do if Im in pain or bleeding and when I woke up they were giving me fluid through the IV line, I asked why and the nurse there he told me its because I was dehydrated and my heart rate and blood pressure kept dropping. Im here in so much pain and praying that i dont already develop an infection because that would be another problem. Im waiting for the doctors to start preparing me to do another procedure and they may want to give me blood in because of how much bleeding Ive been experiencing for the entire week and a day of doing the procedure at choices womans medical center. I had a great experience, it was my first appointment and it went great.

I love the cleanliness of the building staff is kind and pleasant. Doctor Delisa was very attentive, understanding and have a warming aura.

Eliana the supervisor is terrible and nasty attitude .. instead of speaking calming just disgusting attitude and getting loud.. I been coming here since 2019 everyone is usually sweet never had an issue but the “supervisor” is rude

Whats the point of making a appointment at 9 am just to be seen at 2pm the doctors here are GREAT but the people at the front desk are horrible attitude!!! & the doctor assistant are horrible they move like they hate their job!! This place should closed down !!! If its not another doctor stop over booking people to come in that makes way more sense cause we have to suffer and wait in the waiting room starving because sometimes we cant eat cause of a surgical abortion. Im here to just do a sonogram because they called me saying my abortion looks incomplete!!! i been waiting 3 hours nothing no call just to do a dam sonogeam

The staff down stairs was so rude and kinda makes you more scared if it’s your first time going. I arrived at 7 and was out by 11 so not to bad if a wait. The staff upstairs was really nice and made me feel a bit better about everything. BUT Going in to surgery tho that was awful it’s like you get bad service good service then bad again. I would have like them to wait till I was under before touching me. And even insert the tool in my vagina AND cranking it to expand it wider and wider and wider it was five times more worse than a Pap smear. That was awkward and super painful. The doctor was an old man and it made me feel so uncomfortable that he was touching me and just staring at my vagina as the other doctor was trying to put in the needle to put me to sleep. It was painful before I went under and the second I woke up it was bad as well they had to give me pills as well as a shot in my thigh cause of all the pain I was in this wasn’t my first one and my first time was painless and I even went to work and about my day the same day. But this was excruciating pain. I don’t know why it felt like this second time around but makes me nervous and just had a overwhelming time here. But what can you expect going to a clinic

I had an exceptional experience at Choices Medical recently. The staff from the front desk, all the way upstairs were so pleasant. Average waiting time, just overall a nice clinic. Id be recommending here to family and friends in the future as well as returning myself.

The staff was very professional, kind and helpful. The waiting room was a bit full and the wait time was long but other than that it was a pleasant experience.

I made an appointment for 10 am and it’s currently 10 minutes before 2pm and I’m still here. I understand if they don’t have any doctors but honestly I wouldn’t recommend going here.Edit: they responded saying wait time estimates are provided but mine wasn’t provided until I walked through the door, they didn’t allow my guest to wait in the lobby. I had to beg/cry for them to stay because I needed support for the procedure that I thought I was going to do that day, and then I was sent to another waiting room for a couple more hours. All for my procedure not to be done on my appointment and they said I had to reschedule for more bloodwork and maybe they can tell me when I can reschedule for my actual procedure.. I made the appointment, but then canceled it because I felt as if my time will be wasted once again. I made an appointment for Planned Parenthood and I was able to complete everything within the two hours WITHOUT having to go through unnecessary bloodwork as opposed to here at CHOICES. 😄

This used to be a place where I went often and received great treatment but the staff is different and the doctors who took care of me during the no longer work here. The wait is long 3 hours !! They overbooked and if you don’t mind the wait then go ahead but save yourself the hassle of coming here.I would no longer recommend.

Very respectable and efficient. Dr Delisa is comfortable and knowledgeable. Fast service. I will always recommend this clinic to any woman. Even the security guard was nice and respectful.

My experience was good im sure others have had worse I just want to give some insight on what to expect & how to expect it. If you’re going for a termination & want something I suggest you make an appointment & not do a walk in. Always Make your appointment for 7am & get there @ 7am … give them your insurance number & everything over the phone so it’s already in the system. Make sure to bring your id & insurance card for no delay! You should be the first one in & the first one seen. In the morning it goes fast if you are there @ 7am. You will be taken up with the first 10 girls. It has a first come first serve bases. They tell you it take 6 hours to be there. Which is true & goes by fast if you come early at 7am. You will wait for about 3 hours. You have to take blood , then sonogram then talk to a doctor about your medical history then go in for surgery then you are done. The staff was stern but most were polite if you are polite with them. I recommend you come in early again @7am if you are doing a termination. The longer you wait the longer you will be there because other women will be there too & again it’s first come first serve. I came in @ 7am & left @ 12th. I bring all my documents & make an appointment over the phone as well as came in early. Do those steps & you won’t have a problem at all.

I’ve been coming to this facility since their building was in Long Island City. To be there in and out, BE THERE BY 7am when doors open‼️. When y’all schedule an appointment for termination, IT CLEARLY STATES TO BE PREPARED TO BE THERE AT LEAST 4hrs. So please stop complaining about the wait time. If you get up and get there by 7am, the earliest you’ll be out is 11am. 9am the doctors come in to do your procedures, etc. Y’all come on this website and just write anything. Stop being so extra. You don’t wanna be there all day, GET UP AND GO WHEN THEY OPEN. I have no problem when I go there. Did my prenatal care there back in 2012, and currently doing it now.

Very clean and well coordinated clinic. One of the best doctors offices I have been to and didn’t have a long wait at all. Doctor was great and she is very good and the rest of staff is very much the same. Everyone was very kind and I really had no issues. Absolutely no complaints.

Came here for prenatal care and it’s absolutely horrible. They refer to you as patient number 72 , 71 ect never name like I’m at a deli counter. They didn’t allow my partner to come in the building for our first sonogram they said patients only but after going in I seen others with their partners they stated “your partner can only come in if you terminate” which I thought was highly insensitive and inappropriate. Paid my copay did my sono after waiting hours after my appointment and was told the sono looked alarming wait in the lobby a doctor will call you I waited 2 more hours to get no answers and be told come back in 3 days but you have to pay another copay. TO SAY MY SONO IS ALARMING WITH NO ANSWERS AND MAKE ME WAIT HOURS IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL. I moved doctors and was seen by NYU prenatal team and all was okay I was seen there within 10 minutes of my appointment. Read all the reviews CHOICES IS HORRIBLE

My visit was absolutely great I won’t lie the wait is definitely long but as woman we all know what we’re there for and at the end of it all it’s actually worth it. I want to thank everyone from the front desk to the lab to the sonogram ladies and the counselors who speak to you before you get the procedure started the surgical team especially the doctor himself he was amazing to the recovery team they all did a wonderful job their very kind and helpful and actually very respectful to the whole situation. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get this procedure done. I highly recommend Choices Women’s Medical Center at the Jamaica Avenue , Queens location they get the job done and do it very well.

Very long wait. The front desk was very sweet but it felt sketchy. Other new patients were going before me and i don’t mind waiting but they said I was next and were calling other people. The entrance is a bit weird and they weren’t busy just the whole experience wasn’t pleasant

The wait time was a bit long but it was worth the wait once I saw the Doctor. He was very professional and informative. He took the time to explain my options to treat my Menopause symptoms.

The doctor and staff downstairs was great, but the service as far as wait time could improve. I had a 10:30am appointment and didn’t get called to see the doctor until after 1pm.

Plan to be there all day, very unprofessional front desk staff non informative, a women should feel comfortable being the situation not feel scared through out the process , the social worker and staff in the recovery room were the only one that made me feel comfortable and even tho the process was rough and insensitive… I honestly don’t recommend this place . I would never want anyone to feel how I did leaving there… if you can research other places before this one please do so. I traveled from out state and leaving super sad with what I went through.

This place is truly horrible, they don’t go by appointment time. They give you a number they don’t even go by the number in order they keep having you sit and waiting for approximately 5 hours and don’t rush things up always having people wait long for no reason, when going into the doctor office to see them they have a mini conversation and check up on you for about a min or two and that’s it. You’re literally waiting for a waste of time. I wouldn’t recommend any one here. And this waiting time is ridiculous. I won’t ever come back here again. All they need is your insurance money.

Ive been going to choices for many years. Theyve been the best at all times. I met with Dr Delisa Banks a few times and shes been great with me, always willing to answer questions and is always informative. I highly recommend the staff & services at this location.

I had a termination here for a 7 week pregnancy and felt very cared for after surgery. I felt very relaxed and at peace with the doctors. This is a great clinic and I would recommend it to anyone in need of abortions and prenatal care.

The service was good , the wait time was fair and everybody was very professional from the front desk , nurses and doctor !!! I had the best doctor Jay Bassell , he is very helpful and professional. More than 21+ years of experience because I do my research before going to any doctor. I was recommended to go to them and thanks God I found this place. The place I used to go they were not profesional at all but in this place They are all professional and take you with care and love . They have the best team and I don’t understand why the bad reviews because it’s simple you don’t want to be waiting a long time WAKE UP early and be there EARLY ! I truly enjoyed coming here, the staff is very courteous and kind. The doctor was very informative kind and understanding. I felt very comfortable and had an amazing experience. It did take some time but to be fair they were pretty busy. Over all everything else was great. I definitely recommend

I had arrived here to receive the medical abortion pill. My appointment was 9:30am and I arrived at 9:08 am in the morning. Let me start off by saying that the front of the entrance is filled with protestors, people with signs. I was dropped and it was and overwhelming experience. Despite them having escorts I did not feel comfortable nor did I feel safe. First the start out by making you wait outside then once you are there you are given a number. You may give them a government ID or which ever you have. Out of pocket it will 600.00. The receptionist who checks you in her name was Carmen Torres was a lovely lady. Very kind and her energy was nice. However as you moved up floors the strife towards many of the staff was beyond disgusting. I had a tech complete my sonogram. Every time I asked about the side effects and the fertility she said asked a doctor. I then was instructed to do blood work and was stabbed 5 times just to get blood. Didn’t not work. I was then instructed to go upstairs to get blood drawn then followed by waiting. Overall the whole thing took 6 hours in total to get one pill in the clinics along with four for 24 hours. I have to say that nobody on the staff is an actual doctor most of them are medical assistant or a nurse practitioner. This place probably had a lot of potential at one time, but lacks as over booking; rude staff. I am happy I got my service but at the same time the whole day was shot. Best of luck to all you ladies out there. Tip if going have someone drop you off so you don’t pay for parking, pack a snack, bring a book or something to entertain yourself. Your choice your right!

I was soo nervous and uneasy but i was pleasantly surprised the minute i walked in. EVERY SINGLE staff member was amazing. They were polite kind and understanding. Not once did i feel an ounce of judgement. Everything was explained to me throughly and in depth and even a 2nd or 3rd time if i didn’t understand. I really appreciated the counselor i spoke with Star she is A++++. From her vibe walking into the office while sitting there and making me feel comfortable as if i were talking with a friend. To the moment i left her office and even after i left her office when i saw her again she was still pleasant i could literally see the smile under her mask. God bless beautiful people like star and the other amazing staff members at Choice.I would definitely recommend!!!!

I couldn’t be happier with the way i was treated in this place, I’m beyond thankful for absolutely everyone including my friend who referred me, not once did I feel like I was being judged, I was welcomed by absolutely everyone. Best of all was they give you a 6 hour time frame , but I was legit in by 8am & out by 1130am. Honestly I was just so happy with this experience

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. They are EXTREMELY Understaff and depending on what youre being seen for theyll leave you for last. My appointment was at 10 am it is currently 2:28pm and I am yet to be seen. The registrar apparently doesnt know anything. They cant even give you a time frame as to when youll be seen. DO NOT SEEK TREATMENT AT THIS PLACE PLEASE DONT THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

First time I went for procedure came 11:55 for 12am appointment, they had me waiting over five hours for a ten-15 min procedure. Even though you schedule an appointment they make you wait with numbered tickets to be called and most times the calling is still randomized, I will say that the staff including the actual doctor who preformed my surgery were extremely nice and caring that day. Today I went back for a two week follow up they had me waiting over two hours to just take my blood pressure and say have a good day, no examination, vitals, nothing. I feel they just want to book the insurance, by far worst experience, they need some serious training in patient care and SCHEDULING.

WORSE PLACE EVER! HOW IS IT THAT I CAME TO GET A PROCEDURE DONE AND IM STILL SHOWING THAT IM PREGNANT! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. LONG WAIT AND CLEARLY DOCTORS ARENT DOING THEIR JOB HERE!

Gyn lady doctor is nice. The staff is friendly and helpful as well but the wait time is atrocious.If you decide to come here please clear your schedule for the entire day and drop your kids off at the grandparents for the night. Make sure to bring lunch and dinner too and a pillow because you will be here ALL DAY.They do not follow appointments times at all and your lucky if u see a doctor 2 hrs after you arrive.I tried to not be bothered by this because everyone is so nice but waiting two hours after my appointment time just to get my blood pressure checked then another wait to see the doctor.I’ll pay the money and go else where. I just wanted a black female ob/gyn. Not all this added stress.

Great job. My appointment was at 9:00 o’clock I reached there at 8:30 I been there in the past years ago the wait use to be horrible and pack, when I got there today Omg couldn’t believe itwas empty. I notice everyone is upstairs now there’s no more long papers you have to fill out just one page, when you done they tell you go upstair no more waiting for someone to come get you; when I got upstairs it went by quick I was out at 9:45 I couldn’t believe it. Back then you would be there for the entire day I’m glad they have change things.

This place is ridiculously SLOW. They will have you waiting 3 hours just to see the doctor. Super unprofessional, you go up to ask how long and all they say is wait your turn after it has been hours ! This is insane literally save your time and visit someplace else worth your time and energy. After waiting 2hrs just to be seen ended up leaving the visit and going someplace else. The wait was super long. Doesn’t really matter on appointment time, mostly just mattered who got there first. I have good patience though so it didn’t bother me. The doctor who checked me up was super helpful, she listened to all my concerns and explained to me everything moving forward.

I love the fact that they do their very best to try and work with ones schedule and are understanding if an appointment has to be canceled/rescheduled due to last minute circumstances. They offer so many different types of services all in one building so that’s a major plus. They work very hard and I commend them for keeping it professional and a safe/clean place for the patients, especially during times like these. The staff and doctors are very friendly and always helpful with any questions thrown their way, they will make time to help when needed and maintain their professionalism no matter how busy or stressful it may get. I personally chose to switch from a doctor much closer to home to this facility and I don’t see myself switching again. THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!

Other than wait times this place is incredible! The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. They care! The office is clean and I honestly love the number system they use to protect the privacy of their patrons. I honestly even consider making this place my primary care for Ob-gyn. I been coming here for the last two years. My only complaint are the wait times. So best advice make an appointment and get they before 9a.m.

I love the treatment I get at Choices, the staff are all very nice and informative. They never seem annoyed or have attitudes like most other Dr office I ever go to. I’m happy I switched to choices, a friend recommended and I thank her all the time.Try them you may wait a bit but you will be pleased by the drs and staff there.

This is a great place to handle all woman care and needs. However you better be ready to spend at least 3 to 6 hours here for any service. This is no doubt an all day affair. Im here for only a check up and my appointment was at 11 it is now 315 and I have not been seen yet. I know for next time to plan a doctor appointment for the full entire day instead of having work Im the evening at 5. I see no end in sight.

The wait time is horrible. Only go here if you urgently need an abortion and have no other option. Youll be waiting for at least 4 hours before you see a doctor and youll have to wait the whole time in an uncomfortable and crowded waiting room. (you may not even get a seat and have to stand!) When I asked for blood work to see if I was anemic or vitamin-deficient after the blood loss I experienced, the nurses scoffed and rolled their eyes at me. Im a very easy-going, quiet, and sweet person so I didnt appreciate being treated rudely and with such a lack of care or urgency. Im appreciative that I had access to this clinic for my MAB, but if I could go back in time I would have chosen another clinic.

Great attention! All nurses are very kind and nice, they make you feel like you can trust them (safe).The only thing I didn’t love about it’s about the waiting.. but they are great. Many patients at the same time tho.

Great place to get all your health needs done but the wait time is a killer. Can’t make other plans for the day because of that. Staff are cordial. Would’ve been 5 stars if not for their excessive wait time.

Would rate a 0 if i could. The lack of professionalism is astounding. I made an appointment once, the doctor never confirmed it. instead of letting me wait to see if there was a doctor available she told me I had to just leave as it was appointment only. which seems like bs to me because based on the reviews , even with an appointment, it seems like you were still be waiting for hours on end so it doesn’t even seem like appointment matters. I made another appointment and 15 minutes before my appointment was supposed to start, that’s when they email me telling me they need more information before they can confirm my appointment . When I called the office, their menu repeats, so that was also frustrating because now I can’t even contact nobody. I will not even bother making another appointment. neither should y’all.

Well let me say this place is Clean and Friendly and Welcoming. As Far as speed or moving in a timely manner, not going to happen. You will be waiting anywhere from 3 to 5 hrs. I don’t care what services you come here for. It’s an all day thing. I am only writing to warn anyone that think they are going to come for an appointment and be seen and then Leave. I still come regardless because I do Love the Cleanliness and staff of this office. I just know what it is now. I would recommend this place just with a warning though. I want to give 5 star but the wait is ridiculous.

They always helpfull on my appointment

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My appointment was @12pm. I arrived @11:30am. The signs on the door are misleading. The main entrance sign says go to the side entrance, and the side entrance sign says it isn’t open. However, the side entrance was open all along. When you first walk in it’s the check in area which is very small. There is no 6ft spacing at all. I felt so claustrophobic. After standing for 20-25 mins to check-in I was exhausted. The lady who checked me in was very nice. That was the best experience of my day. I live 1 1/2 hrs away. Had I known that I be there for 5hrs I would have parked my car in a parking lot vs at a meter. I paid nearly $18 at a meter. One of the patients on the 2nd floor was getting annoyed because she didn’t understand why she was waiting so long. I overheard one of the staff members by the consultation area telling the patient that it’s never a 1-2-3 process. That she needs to prepare to be there all day!!! The numbers seem like they’re never called in order. I just got the pill & was there 5 hrs and change. I will never recommend this place.

After Experience Review:So it was my first trip here, scheduled with ZocDoc, and I got a couple of things to say.1.Staff is very friendly but they need more staff to patient communication. A lot of my negative aspects of this place could’ve been avoided if I had more instructions on how they operated.2. For the short hours the place is open, maintenance can and should be done more frequently. Something about women’s bathrooms never stay clean for very long.3. Eat before you go (unless instructed to do otherwise). My appointment was for 1:30pm and I didn’t finish until 4:15pm. I was hoping for something a little more functional that my previous clinic but I guess it’s just a clinic thing.Overall, my experience wasn’t the worst. I made the appointment yesterday and was seen today so that’s amazing. I didn’t get the doctor I was scheduled to see, but ZocDoc warned me of that and the doctor I did see was kind. Lastly, I got everything I came for done. So I’m more than happy.

Today, ITS A VERY COLD DAY TODAY. I can understand why the staff cancelled my appointment, however, I noticed the notes said it was at my request. That is inaccurate, unprofessional and totally unacceptable. More so, health matters especially if I said I have a pain in my breast. This is very pathetic for patients like me who appreciates the service of Dr. Angela Meikle. You. guys need to do better; set your priorities right.

I never waited long periods of time while inside to be seen. Place is very clean and the ladies behind the glass are extremely nice and they answer all questions and concerns respectfully.The only problem I had was waiting outside in the freezing cold and rain when I had a scheduled appointment. Also, I was told that couldn’t fill out my maternity leave papers for my job because I haven’t been seen since 10/21 but regardless they should still fill my form out because I was seen there for care. And they was sending me to TJH for appointments every two weeks and then every week.

As my first time going to a gynecologist, I am very pleased with this place. The appointment process is quick and easy. The wait is reasonable and you dont have to wait too long for things to get done. Everyone is so friendly and helpful there. It amuses me to see the open relationships between the coworkers and that they show equal respect to you as a patient. Doctors make sure youre comfortable and assist you with everything you need. I would definitely suggest Choices for your services.

I went there early morning while waiting it start getting busy. Then I start reading reviews and feels like may be im stuck but after 15/20 min they start calling everyone. My visit was so quick. Staff was very nice and helpful. Thanks everyone

Most awful, traumatizing experience I have ever went through. They overbooked patients waited 9 hours with no water no food almost about to pass out. Rude and unprofessional care givers, disorganized. They do not care for your well being AT ALL. Do not even think about going to this place! Please I think I need therapy after experiencing this horrific facility. The only nice human being there was the security guy at the front. And I most definitely will be contacting the department of health in regards to my concerns. And if they are understaffed why overbook so many patients all at once.

My service experience was Great.the workers is very polite and respectful. Wait time was quick. The best time to go is early in the morning.

This place is totally unprofessional to be a medical center, the poor service to black and brown communities has to end..there was no staff checking on the patients, lets not even get on the wait time was ridiculous, and to here there is only 1 doctor just pissed me off even more. The laws when it comes to client care in NYC needs to change especially in urban communities.

I came here to begin prenatal care but waited 3 hours to see triage and then was asked to go outside and wait to see the Doctor. After waiting 35 minutes I lost it and just left. If you are looking for a place to go for prenatal care don’t even think about going here please. Save your time. It is best you travel an hour to go see a doctor, you will be back from your visit before you even see the triage here talk less the dr.

My appointment was at 7am and I didnt leave until 12. Very long wait. Staff was very friendly. I was nervous to get general anesthesia and when I explained it to the anesthesiologist, he didnt really care. He rushed me to get it and grabbed my arm to put it in the iv and was very impatient and rude. Nurses and doctor were very nice though.

The staff is great, they really do a great job. My only problem is the wait time, it is insane. My first visit was almost 4 hours long. On my seconf visit there were people there way before me, I was seen a lot faster than them and was out of the door within an hour. I heard others complaining about being there for 3 hours....

Staff are nice 👍 but my appoinment was 11am until now my number wasnt called yet. What is the purpose of making an appointment. You should understand that I have other things to do as well

I ended up waiting for three hours when I scheduled my appointment for 12 pm. It is a nice building. The staff is nice however, this takes way too long especially when the appointment was set for 12 when its now 3pm. Perhaps, they are low on staff but this is really ridiculous. And all I was doing was getting a refill for my medication.

I was kinda nervous when i first came to this clinic. But the staff were super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about every question I had. I felt a lot at ease. Now everytime I come in its very quick and fast service. Love it here..

I have been here on two separate occasions and have to say I will continue to go back. The place is very clean and I like how they have two separate floors for different needs. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well as the doctors that I saw. They solved my problems very quickly and thoroughly and sent me on my way and they always schedule a follow up. The only thing they should work on is the scheduling and wait time. I waited for 2 hours to be seen and was in the facility for a total of 6 hours just for one thing. It was just a lot of waiting but overall great establishment

I visited choices womens clinic and I am very happy with how my visit went from beginning to end. I was out with an hour, all staffing members including doctor was exceptional! Organized, clean working environment and the doctor was warm, friendly and informative. I left educated on how to go about improving my health 💯 A+ Choices

The staff is pretty friendly and the doctors are nice also. But let me tell you something, if you are going to choices for anything other than a pregnancy test u will wait on average of about 2hours!!! Please don’t believe the hype of ppl talking bout it was quick and fast. IT. IS. NOT!!! I’ve been coming here for over a year and the only reason why I still go there is for a particular Dr. I always schedule my appointments on a Saturday because it goes by quicker and the staff works better because let’s face it, no one wants to be at work on a Saturday!I had a regular 2pm. appointment today and I kid u not I left at 505pm!! That’s just Bananas!

I understand it’s a small woman’s clinic and it will be full but we need to be treated like we’re human. I know other people probably been there 3 times a year but it was my first time I wasn’t only scared but alone and what I needed was comfort and I just wanted to be taken care of. Some nurses treated me like I was a regular and some treated me with great care and I appreciate those who did. It was a long wait though but once again I understand that because it was full.

I appreciate this place very much. The wait times are extremely long and you will probably be there half of the day but I am so great to have a place with these services, even if I never need them. I have had a good experience so far with the gyn and I appreciate that even with covid and protesters, this place remains open. Freedom of choice is invaluable.

Despite all the bad reviews, I made an appointment anyways. I then quickly became full on of regrets. Every bad review was literally happening right before my eyes. First come first serve. The wait was extremely long. There was no compassion or friendly faces. The staffed seemed stressed out as well as the hundreds of patients. No social distancing at all! I will never step foot into that sh!t show of an office ever again! Who ever is running this place should be embarrassed! Disgusting service. I do not recommend.

I’ve been here numerous times and each time I’ve been welcomed with kind energy. The staff is attentive and caring, the environment is clean and lively. Even though there’s often an influx of patients, you can tell they try their hardest to have a steady momentum so everyone is seen in a timely manner. I recommend this place to my friends often.

This is the worst place to schedule a termination. I had to for serious reasons and health. So They give you a early appointment 8:30am but your waiting about 3 hours or more till seen. They send you to the lab first for a covid test then you sitting for an hour. Then they call you for a sonogram then you sit down for another hour. Then they call you to take blood to find out if your anemic and your sitting down for another hour. Then you have to take the elevator upstairs to sit down for another hour. Then you have to go into a counselor room for 20-30 minutes to talk and or discuss whatever which is a big waste of time. After that is when they finally take you to the changing room with about 5 other girls sitting there with hair nets and gowns on. No privacy at all everybody just staring at everybody knowing your business or what’s going on. Then you have to sit down In the chair in the changing room to talk to the medical assistant about nothing another waste of time. Then they finally call you to the back. Now the time is about 12:30pm. This is utterly ridiculous. Don’t be further along because they will have you waiting all that time just to tell you they can’t see you and you have to be referred somewhere else. Crazy!!!. Don’t waste your time here find another clinic unless you don’t mind sitting here all day and having other girls stare in your face while they wait for their appt too. I cannot deal with choices at all and I definitely won’t be going back!!!!!!

The health professionals are nice and the facility is clean but the wait is too long. My appointment was at 12:30 and I booked it weeks in advanced and did not see the physician until 2:30. After seeing the physician I needed blood work drawn and that took another hour. If you plan on coming to this facility, make sure you have nothing else planned throughout the day. They are not considerate with their patients time and do not even acknowledge it with an apology. The place is crowded throughout the day, no matter what time you come.

This facility is THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!! My appoinment was scheduled for 9AM. I arrived at 8:10AM and was prompted to wait outdoors in the freezing cold(32°F) until I could check in (I waited 45 minutes outside). Once I checked in, I waited a total of 5 hours to see a doctor.In addition, the staff are HORRIBLE. Theyre attitude and approcach to patients concern lacked empathy and understanding!!!!!During a pandemic the wait shouldnt be as extensive and the environment was crowded.I will be sure to contact the health of department regarding my concerns.

Truly genuinely amazing people who work in this facility. I wish I can say more to express my appreciation for their work ethic, kindness, and compassion. Completely exceeded my expectations

The experience was absolutely horrible; my relative there because she needed medical help and this woman named Eliana (apologies if it is spelled incorrectly) picked up the phone and was the only one doing so. She had been speaking in a sharp tone to my relative already and then on one call (since she kept saying “call again” or you need authorization from health insurance) she proceeded to yell at her. I had called health insurance and they said they hadn’t gotten anything and she didn’t need authorization. Knowing this, my relative called and this is where the worker yelled at her. I hate that this happened to her, I think that if you are going to work in this kind of job, helping people, you should at least be ready to be respectful to someone who is asking for help. But correct me if I am wrong.

I got there a bit late , I took an uber there but maybe by 10, 15 minutes late because of traffic even though my app was for 10 am i called and they understood, and since I suffer from mental illness and get very depressed and anxious they had me in a seperate room because I cant be around to much people , plus because they knew that already I was put in quicker and the staff was wonderful,the only complaint i had was that the medical assistant or whatever her title was a bit on edge i guess, maybe a rough morning or night but while taking my vitals i ignored her negativity because she didnt want the leo in me coming out lol , but I talked everyone to death lol since Im a people person at times when im nervous i speak alot and it comes sometimes because of the anxiety and they were great and answered all my questions , even if I forgot so quick because it happens since I have anxiety they were patient and wonderful. Lucky for me the 5 to 6 hour wait time that is cleary told on the phone and online was shorter for me .. so people honestly should not get upset when its told anyways. I arrived about 10:15 and was done around 12ish..so overall it was a great experience

They need ZERO star. Waited 30 min after my appointment time and she’s telling me wait could be more than 2 hours or more. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!

Ridiculous ! When you set an appointment ypu should be seen by that time or within a half hour. I was there from 830am (appointment@ 9) & was there until 3:30. I get theyre are many women who need to be seen but the people who work there could be alittle more respectful. They also say no family can come in but a whole family of 6 was in the waiting room. The upstairs nurses are by far more gentle and caring then downstairs.

Choices is really great. Both the staff and doctors are very kind and helpful. I switched here from another gynecologist where I didnt feel like I was being respected or getting good quality care, and I am perfectly happy with Choices. The only reason this isnt a 5 star review is because you have to wait a long time to be seen. However, I dont mind waiting a long time for good quality care. Just factor that into your calendar when you schedule an appointment.

I absolutely love this medical center. I came here for my first born on 2015 and though the wait might be a little long it’s definitely worth it. All the staff I’ve met there are all very kind and helpful. I’m having a second child & I decided to come back here for my Prenatal appointments. It’s a bit far from where I live but it’s definitely worth it, I recommend this place 100%.!

If I can give them a zero star I would. I been here 3 times and the 3 times I waited 4 to 5 hours to been seen. And you have to pay parking. The clinic would be better, if they would work on the scheduling and calling ppl on time. Is not fair that my app. Is 11:30 n is still 2:30 and I havent been called. You spend the whole day in this clinic.

Once you walk into the building it’s very small since the receptionist is literally right at the door, there is no privacy while giving information to the front desk. you do have other receptionist inside who tell next from inside for you to walk inside, really dislike that. the facilities are clean and spacious. the waiting period is ridiculous, i waited over 5 hours to see a doctor, i honestly will not go back there.

The staff there is very nice and respectful. They all make you feel comfortable and safe during your appointments. Sometimes you may have to sit and wait for a while to see your doctor. Other than that, everyone overall are friendly people. Also the place is very clean!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE. They don’t care about your health or listen to your concerns. I specifically explained to Dr. Mikal what I was concerned about and she completely disregarded it. They took urine samples to verify if I was pregnant after doing a sonogram and SHOWING me the baby to make it seem like they were sending out my urine for the reasons I requested. After I called to try to understand what was going on the receptionist just hung up on me. I will NEVER be coming here again and I will let everyone and anyone know about it. I’m now at risk of losing my baby all because they didn’t care enough to listen to my concerns. I pray and hope everything is okay but best believe they’ll be hearing from my lawyer if not.

It took more than 5 hours to see the doctor 😔 my baby was at home with her daddy, and 2 hours later she woke up and started crying. I requested them i want to visit the doctor as soon as possible but they didn’t care at all. I will never go there again 😡👎😭😭

I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel the need to. We scheduled an appointment the other day. Over an hour after the appointment was to begin we asked how long it would be, they responded that there was one person in front of her in line to get her vitals, and then it was just waiting to see the doctor, however long that would take.Ridiculous. Why have an appointment system if you cant keep see people at that time? Whats even the point of that? Just be up front. Dont pretend appointments matter if you cant keep them.

Expect to wait for hours before you get seen.. I have an appt scheduled and I waiting over 5 hours. FYI: I was not there for termination. I was there for a simple sonogram to see if my IUD was still in position. I left after 5 hours.

If you are used to low class service,this place is for you. You wont be seen on time so plan on being there a few hours even if its a routine obgyn exam or results. The staff, well, they act like they just work there. No real interest in any patient or their jobs. Its definitely not a welcoming place, just a place to get what you need done, If u have no other choice.

My visit wasn’t that bad, but the establishment was a bit crowded with COVID-19 still being an issue. I was there for about 3 hrs, which is normal to me for a clinic setting. My problem is that I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone over the portal & no one responds. When I called, the person helping me didn’t see everything that was done during my visit. This office needs to work on efficiency.

I thought it was a nice a great place doctor is very nice attentive very compassionate and the staff and worker are very nice. They made me feel welcome all the time Im there.

The wait time is RIDICULOUSLY long! Don’t have us make an appointment if you can’t keep up with the appointment. The nurse there told me it will be an hour wait when I first got there, I was like “that’s crazy I have an appointment” and she goes “unfortunately, that’s how it works here.” I decided to wait that hour since there are such good reviews for this place. An hour later I asked the nurse again how much longer, and she says “Another hour.” I decided to leave at this time. Going to this clinic is such a waste of your time. You lose your whole day for a service that takes only half hour. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. Never coming back here!!!

Worst place to come! I called to make an appointment to get a nexplanon on my arm. The receptionist asked me for my name, date of birth and what insurance do I have. After I came to the appointment and waited for 4 hours, they tellMe that I have to call another facility that actually have the nexplanon and get it there. She tellMe that for them to order it I have to pay over $1000 because my insurance only cover the installation. They not only don’t have it, they have to order it….Like really? The lady was very rude, at first I didn’t understand because I couldn’t believe what she was telling me so I asked her to please repeat it again but she was so rude and have a nasty attitude like if I was bothering her. I asked her why no body told me this when I called toMake an appointment to get the nexplanon, then with an attitude she tell me if I want to talk to the doctor. I said yes but then she told me to wait outside because the doctor have a patient now so I ended up leaving because I was not going to wait another hour. I was so upset! I think they make you come, get you in and charge the insurance. I will never come again!

I went to Choices to get an IUD and the process of getting it was seamless. In the beginning I really wasnt sure what kind of birth control I wanted to use. I talked to one of the social workers there and they helped me choose which one was the best. On the day of my appointment I was in and out in 2 hours. The ob-gyn and nurses were super nice to me the entire time and the social workers didnt pressure me into anything. My wait time wasnt bad and they took my insurance. Overall awesome experience. 10/10, would go again.

It’s so unfortunate for me to write this, I’ve been coming to this clinic since I was 17 throughout the years my experience has been good overall. I had made an appointment a month ago and I asked what day would they have the most doctors, they said Tuesday. So here I am, made my appointment for 10:30am and got here at 10:20... it’s about to be 4pm and I’m still waiting to see a doctor because the female doctor with the glasses WENT TO LUNCH. SO WE WAIT FOR THE DOCTOR TO GO ON LUNCH FEED HERSELF AND US ? We can starve that’s for sure. So I asked nobody was able to replace her ? And the desk rep said no I only work here I don’t make the rules. So I asked who does? Which then she had multiple answers and then I didn’t bother... 4.5hrs waiting. Paid $150 to be seen. It’s so unfortunate what this clinic has become. Get better or shut down.

I like their work but time waiting it’s insane. I felt so overwhelmed yesterday i had my appointment at 10 and left the place at 3pm. I would understand if it’s for a surgical procedure but just for a checkup 5 hrs it’s too much time. I saw a lot of patients complaining and some even left after rescheduling their appointment. I don’t understand what’s the point of scheduling an appointment if they are overbooked.

I have been visiting this center for a few years now, and it has only been recently that I realized what keeps me coming back. The friendliness of the staff is top notch, and overall, I feel supported in my decisions as a woman. Many people place their opinions on whose right it is to carry or abort a pregnancy, but the staff at Choices always makes me feel loved and understood. I can honestly say that I’ve made some tough decisions in that center, but I can also say that I was never alone in making them. The wait is long at times to be seen by a doctor, but honestly, it’s worth it. The staff is priceless in their kindness. Thank you .

I appreciated the fact that Choices provided counseling sessions. She took her time with me and showed compassion and care. I have been to quite a few facilities, and Choices has one of the best staff members.Also, it a very clean and safe environment. My overall experience was great and I will recommend Choices.

Terrible experience I had appointment for 1pm for a follow up . I been here for 4 hours and haven’t seen the doctor as yet . Terrible service and the staff keep telling you they don’t know wait time I had to go move my car 2 times already and payed meter and come back and still waiting to be called and staff very disrespectful. ! I don’t understand why someone has to wait more than 3 hrs just to see the doctor . So many peopleI’m here waiting and getting fustrated as well .

Ive been coming here for over 6 yrs and I have no complains! Other than the street parking. But overall from the minute you walk in and are welcomed by the receptionist till the very last step and you see your GYN doctor is a great experience! Everyones super profesional and willing to help and answer all questions you may have. The location it self is always very clean and tidy. This is definitely my to go to spot for all my woman needs!!!!

From the time you walk through the doors the staff provides you with a smile and outstanding service. I personally love my therapist....wasnt always this way but shes handled me with care and within time I can honestly say I trust her and the help Ive received couldnt have come from a better source. I would recommend Choices to anyone!!!

My wife had appointments at 10 am in the morning she is waiting almost 6hours still doctor did not call her ,it’s horrible situation we have ever seen,this place is very bad service and the staff of this place is very rude ,never go again

Choices womens medical center has changed a lot. when I went the medical assistants were very nice and helpful to me. I really felt comfortable. The wait time was not as long as I thought it would be. All the nurses and providers helped me very well and made me feel comfortable.

Find an office with good ratings and go there. I took an $40 Uber then paid a copay for them to tell me I had to wait two hours. It also took around the same time for them to verify the insurance I’ve been using for the past two years. I don’t have time to waste and I doubt any other New Yorker does! Also 0.75 per page for medical records. Yea I’ll be leaving them there and seeing a new doctor. ZERO stars from me.

The Staff is nice but the Doctor was not the best. She became annoyed as I asked her questions. If you didn’t want someone asking you questions then get your nurse to answer them or choose another profession.Advice: Having a little empathy doesn’t hurt.

Extremely easy booking online and they accept nearly all insurance plans. They have made navigating my health as a woman much easier! My OB/GYN experience is always positive, and I feel like I leave learning more about myself. Have been going to this clinic for the last 3 years.

I have been here couple times and the staff was great. The wait is ok and the doctors are funny and know their stuff. I recommend their services. The female older gynecology doctor whos name i keep forgetting is super cool and explains birth control very well. Even though the first needle broke and got all over her, she kept calm and cool about it and made me laugh.

I am very happy with the service at Choices , everyone I encountered from the people escorting you in to the facility to the clerk to the nurses and doctors were all exceptionally nice and knew what they’re role was and got it done . They worked very well together and the place is very clean and have a tight flow to everything . Great work ladies ! Y’all are making a huge difference

The staff is very polite & friendly. The service however can use some improvements. Went there for a 9:45am appointment, I got there at 9:30am and I didnt see the doctor until 2:09pm. Its really ridiculous being pregnant and having to sit and wait for hours, while persons are coming in after me and are leaving before me. Also I really wish they would stop giving me appointments on days when my doctor isnt available, then Ill have to wait for hours to meet with another doctor, its very frustrating.

THE BEST CLINIC HANDS DOWN! The fact you can make an appointment online for the next day is awesome, amazing staff and health procedures, every appointment I had I was satisfied! They really care about each patient and that’s what makes me love this place, no judgements, just a judgement free zone.

Doctor Meike wasn’t compassionate with my wife’s visit. Her appointment was 3 pm and we didn’t leave here until 6:00 pm. This facility do not go by appointment, they go by number first come first serve, which I find ridiculous . The staff were rude and unprofessional. DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO SEE DR. Meike! She’s rude! Do not go here , I suggest go to a well organized and have compassionate doctors that understands patients care.

Don’t waste your time with place, they don’t know how to throughly verify your insurance properly to see if it’s active or not. And wait months later to call you in regards of it.

I came to my appointment for a procedure, paid for it in full and spent almost 5 hours waiting but was never seen by a doctor because they misplaced my patient file. Then I had to leave for work, I was really upset and asked for my money back but the front desk manager said she was busy and I had to wait for the refund. Had to dispute the transaction with the credit card company later since I wasnt going to stay there a minute longer.

Although the staff here is very friendly, I keep having to wait over 2 hours just to see a nurse and then be sent back into the waiting room for god knows how long ! I had a 2 pm appointment and it’s going on 4:30 I find it so strange that there are mostly good reviews. If you want to make an appointment and waste a whole day being there I suggest going to choices women’s health center in Jamaica!!I might also add that when asked if I wanted a male or female doctor I was told I can only see a male doctor when I requested a woman

This place is horrible and service is extremely bad. Everyone in there had an attitude, couldnt answer any of my questions or do things in a timely manner. This clinic is terrible. I made an appointment a week in advance and when I walk in they told me its a 2 hour wait because they accept walk-ins. I waited 4 hours and went to numerous rooms. Im calling the health department and I advise you guys to do the same. Its unsanitary to have 50 patients a day. Check your cards guys because they might be adding more things to your bill than is need be.

This is a very nice place. They have quick appointments and a quick check- in process with alot of privacy. The office and medical rooms are very clean. The staff is very nice, caring and respectful. I have been here twice and had a good experience both times. I would recommend them.

Was considering doing my prenatal appointments here but between the viscous protesters outside and a fight that almost broke out between patients, in the waiting room, I do not feel safe going there. It was a zoo. My visit was very uncomfortable. It was overly crowded. The wait was so long. The staff seemed too busy to care to make me feel welcomed and even though I was there for hours, the visit felt rushed. Very little staff serving so many patients. That is not normal. Please post up a help wanted ad so you can have the right amount of staff to serve the volume of patients you see. SMH

I was turned away from prenatal care with my first pregnancy here, apparently they were all booked out. I was recently pregnant, got confirmation here, got an appointment for full prenatal care work up and was not allowed to get prenatal service here because I was moving out of the state soon. I was 9 week at the time. I asked the doctor what time do I need to seek medical care during the first trimester, she said thats the patients choice. They recommended I go to my PCP and get prenatal tablets and schedule a prenatal care visit to the state where I am going. I suffered a miscarriage 2 weeks after. Now I will never know if there was any chance I could have carried this pregnancy to full term. I will never know anything about my miscarriage.

I wish I had discovered this clinic earlier. I love how convenient it is to schedule appointments here. You can schedule online and unlike other places you can get an appointment right away.Its also convenient in that its easy to get there and they have all the services you need, its cheaper and they accept most insurance.Ive always found the doctors and nurses very helpful in all my visits. They dont make you feel like you cant ask questions which is definitely important.I do wish they also had prenatal care up until birth but for everything else Youll definitely be taken care of here. Hard to find a place like this especially in this location.

My experience with choices was by far the best. Honestly, the reception can use some work on professionalism but aside from that,the wait time between registration and appointment was fairly quick. Doctors were extremely helpful and informative. It definitely hands down has to be the fastest, efficient clinics in the area,which says a lot coming from Queens. 5 star in my book.

Staff are great Even though the waiting time is extremely long they go above and beyond to satisfy you. Extremely busy. Not a big enough place to social distance but you are able to space out as much as possible. They are professional and respectful.

Ive been coming to Choices for years and the service just keeps getting better. My most recent visit was the fastest Ive ever been seen and the nurses and doctor were as kind as always. Im so glad something like this exists in Jamaica, I cant recommend it enough.

Very bad experience! First of all that wait time is way to long ! It don’t even be busy prob like 5-6 patients they make you wait 3-4 hrs ! I traveled all the way from Suffolk county by Uber and train just for them to tell me I can’t be seen ! It was very frustrating bc I spent a lot to get there to be turned away ! If you’re looking for a better spot With faster and better service go to all woman’s medical of queens ! It’s literally 10 mins away ! They have excellent staff and the facility is 10 times cleaner!

If I couldve rated 0 stars, I would. My appointment was for 2pm and I was seen after 4pm. I wanted a female GYN they Gave me a male because the woman was too busy even though I booked my appointment with a female doctor...Its been over 2 weeks since my visit and I never received my results. I emailed the hospital through the portal twice and got no response. After my 3rd time calling the receptionist informed me that the lab does not have my blood work. Its lost. They are investigating it. My only option is to come back and do the blood work again. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE!!!! Absolutely terrible.

Been here for my first time 4 years ago and the place is still amazing today! All of the nurses was nice and helpful. Almost make you feel like you can start working there too lol ! The wait time is a bit long but when they get to you they attend to all your needs ! Even the security guards are nice ! Also you can be friends with other patients. I met other young women that were going through the same things as me. You can easily connect. Don’t be shy 💙 We’re in this together.The only thing I absolutely HATED was parking !!! I wish they could’ve had like their own lot. There’s a lot of meters in queens, so I do suggest downloading the PARKNYC app cause you could be there a while. There is a man that owns a lot next door but you will have to pay him and then on top of that you will need to leave your car keys with him.

This is the worst medical facility I have ever visited in my 42 years of life. I simply scheduled an appointment for a Pap smear which was at 11:30am and I was not called until 2pm to have my vitals taken then to sit and wait again until 3:45 to see the doctor. I was like the last one in the waiting area and once the doctor called to I didn’t even last 10minutes with doctor. Then to check out the receptionist is hardly ever at desk.....you have to wait till she gets back to be able to check out !!! Like are you serious....it’s now 4pm and I still have to wait for receptionist to come from like her 10th break. Just to get patient portal sent to me for my results and a metro card. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS FACILITY!! I DONT HAVE TIME TO WASTE.

Service is extremely slow. My appointment was at 11 it’s 1 and they still didn’t call me in. The fat lady in the front is RUDE I asked her how come they haven’t called me and all the did was roll her eyes at me and walk away. Also they say they’re slow bc of social distancing yet the second floor is full of people, even women without mask and eating up there, no social distancing whatsoever. If I could give this place 0 starts I truly would.

The service I received was very helpful and I recommend this clinic to everyone whos in need of personal health or just some advise ..and if I didnt say it I love this clinic 10 thumps up

This place is terrible my appointment was at 1pm came here on time and it’s 4:00 now still waiting for my name to be call. They keep letting people in in one small room seating next to each other. Some not wearing mask properly. Never come to this place. Oh and the second floor have no one to open the lock door. So we waiting there for 25 mins. Good thing one of the patient came out and let us in. I don’t want to give this place a star but I have to so I can tell y’all about this place.

If you have a whole day to waste, this is the place to come. They do not honor your appointment time whatsoever. I came in for a 9:30 gyn appt, didn’t leave until 3:30. Two weeks after i came in for my results, they refused to print out my results- telling me that I have to see the Dr 1st. Asked if they can put my results on the portal-that doesn’t work either. Didn’t get out till four hours later, just to tell me that my hemoglobin is low- like I don’t know that already. Honestly- i would not come back here & i would not recommend anyone here.

My experience at Choice was the best... My appointment was 8:45 and and I get out at 10:30. The stuff and doctors are very friendly and easy to talk with. The thing that I like about this place is tha its clean and you done wait that much.

Walked in after walk in hours with extreme pain. They STILL made room for me, and got me the care I desperately needed at the time. The doctor was extremely gentle and informative and the nurses were kind and relatable. Great experience as well as possibly life saving.

Ive been going to this clinic for years. Ever since they started in Long Island City, the atmosphere & staff stayed the same. I love the way they treat you like family & keep you informed on birth control. The Doctors are awesome, I wouldnt recommend going anywhere else when it comes to your GYN needs 🖤

The waiting time is horrible! You are literally waiting there ALL day no matter the reason you are there! The staff was rude and slow! Especially the one that took my blood pressure but was on her cellphone the whole time and kept missing the reading and had an attitude with me when I told her to please pay attention so she doesnt have to keep doing it! I will never go back there again! EVER! I switched to planned parenthood where they treat me better and I dont have to wait so long with an appointment!

I had appointment early morning & I didn’t get seen until 2 hours before they close . I had to come on a empty stomach & I been sitting in the waiting room for over 6+ hours . This is highly unacceptable and inappropriate. Just because COVID became apart of life now doesn’t mean ya take the advantage of us on how long we have to wait to even check in . I didn’t check in until a hour later . They do everything by numbers & so far today they over 90+ patients with COVID still going on & waiting room was filled up to capacity.

I called to make an appointment to find the best fit of birth control for me, & they were able to schedule me the next day . The nurses and doctors there are great & super sweet. I even scheduled my annual check up thats coming up. I’d definitely recommend. I suggest the earlier appointment the better !

This place is great. The workers from the doctors to the MAs are polite. The wait is quick and they make you feel as if youve been coming there for a long time. I just had to tell my friends about this place

First time going, I was nervous but as the day went on I started to feel comfortable. They make sure you understand everything thats going on, no pressure.As I started the process it went nice & smooth. I give them a 4 star.

I found my experience to be great! The staff is friendly and the place is very clean. The only thing that i was annoyed about was the fact that you make and appointment and dont get seen on time. You must prepare yourself to be there all day.

My experience here was pretty nice. The staff made sure you understood everything that was going on, the only thing is the place is so popular that the waiting can be kind of long if you dont get there early. I really like this place and yes I would recommend anyone to go there.

Very unprofessional. I was 15mins early to my appointment only to find out their representative had scheduled it the day before. Even after calling the night before to verify my insurance converage, they never informed me until the morning of. So I had to wait over 1 hour for my insurance to be verified yet again while people who entered after me were being serviced. The lack of professionalism and responsibility for their error will have me never return!

Although this is great office and the staff is very friendly and efficient, the waiting time is unacceptable. I have been coming here for almost 3 years now and each time which are different days and times, I have waited the least 3 hours. Just got a checkup or follow up takes up your entire day. They over book all the time.

Choices Womens Medical center is my go-to when it comes to my health needs. Ive been a long time patient and the staff has always been very professional, helpful, and friendly. The services they offer are definitely helpful to keep your well being in check. The only downside is the wait time, but that should be expected in a very busy womans center. I will be continuing to book my appointments at Choices!

They are the absolutely worst medical facility!! Do not go! First, the wait is unbelievable. I waited 4 hours to be seen. Second, she did a pap smear as I wanted but only swapped for std infections and didnt do a cervical cancer swap. Now I have to do a pap smear again some where else. Last but not least I call and message thru the portal to ask for a fluconazole pill which we all know is for yeast infection. One lady tells me to wait 24 hours on the phone because nobody responds on the portal only for me to call back two days later and they tell me I need to make an appointment for a yeast infection!!!!!!!! Incredible!!!!

After speaking with the very friendly and knowledgeable staff, I was able to make an informed choice which left me feeling both confident and comfortable! I now attend there for ALL my OBGYN needs! The staff at Choices Womens Medical Center at the Jamaica, Queens location are very friendly and professional. The location is clean and orderly. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because of the wait time. You can have an appointment or be a walk in and still wait for 2-3 hours because according to the assistant at the desk, Everyone is here for something different. So they call you based off of what youre there for, not your scheduled appointment time.

This will be my 2nd visit to choices medicalHave chose then seeing there are close to my home …it have average wait times, which should be expected…..when there at 9am& got through at 11…..my procedure was to place an IUD in my womb …didn’t know what to expect …my Dr was dr meikeo …sis speak with me the whole time of insertion…was quick and painless… it’s like a regular Pap smear … only differences is she pinches the womb to place the device …. Left and drive 2hs to longIsland like a champ …thanks for all you do 💖👏

The staff was so nice. The reviews were giving me anxiety but the staff is really nice and I didn’t wait for that long I would give it a 10.

Doctors don’t care how long you wait & make mistakes on paperwork. They make appointments and put u on a first come first serve basis that doesn’t even work because the numbers they call are all mixed up. I had a 8am appointment & was there waiting til after 3pm. Only few doctors care to talk respectably with anyone. They sit by a desk and giggle and gossip instead of doing their job delaying the most time possible. There’s times where they’ll make you wait all day just to tell u to go home and come back the next day. They tell u not to eat or drink anything and leave you to starve all day without caring at all about the clients. They go on lunch break & have u wait til they’re done feasting to start taking care of clients again. & It smells like fast food when u walk in it’s like they want u to be hungry. Go anywhere else but here this medical center can not operate well and there’s always chaos and packed rooms.

Literally the worst of the worst …wait time is horrible ….the give you a schedule appointment time for example 9am but you literally will not see the doctor until 1pm . They will give you a number and call other numbers before you. It’s ridiculous

Love love love this place .... All the staff is very professional, if you dont have insurance they work with you with help getting insured or low payment plans . The doctors and social workers are very non judgmental they explain everything to you . The wait isnt very long. Follow up appointments are amazing they call to find out how your doing really love this place.

DO NOT EVER COME HERE. They are not very pleasant thier attitude will make you feel so uncomfortable. You WILL NEVER BE seen on your appointment time, it should be on a first come first served. I litterally was better going to planned parenthood. They make you stand outside without even telling you that you can’t go inside. It’s embarrassing. Do not get me started on the security gaurd he’s unprofessional. Just don’t go here and I’m leaving the place now and writing this so NO IM NOT A BOT!!!!

The staff there was very friendly but I was not satisfied. I went there for a second opinion on receiving the pill for termination. I asked their opinion and was told I would be a good candidate by a counselor. I was 9 weeks. After the chemical procedure, I thought something wasnt right and followed up with my regular OB/GYN and found out that most of the products were still inside my uterus and was immediately scheduled to come in 3 days later for evacuation. I will not be coming back here again.

Every time I come here I feel welcomed and the wait is never that long. I do recommend this to others, I feel as though Womens Choices is better than other gyns. Facility is clean and nice. Womens choices helps me with my contraceptive needs. I am more than satisfied

Completely rude and unnecessary attitude. This was my second time attempting to use this clinic and let me tell you please don’t even bother. They will treat you like you’re nothing. The receptionist and check in crew is rude! I have EMBLEM HIP HMO insurance, when I show up to my appointment they’re telling me it’s not covered only for “limited” things. Three doctors that work at this clinic are named to take this insurance! When she informed me the limited things, obviously medical terms and could barely explain herself. First! Why would you allow me to schedule an appointment for a GYN problem with my insurance details days prior and not even inform me. Call to confirm? And not mention a thing regarding my insurance not being taken. Then tell me a consultation would be $150.00 LOL! Then to top it off she hands me back my ID and insurance card and just walks away. Does not say a thing. I walked out the door because as a potential patient I would not trust these ladies with my information.

I had the pleasure of working here. The gentleman who hired me was wonderful, Merle Hoffman who I admired for years was so rude and evil.! She is not a nice person at all and her business partner is just as evil and rude. I quit after week of working with such horrible individuals running establishment like this. I was appalled at all the awards she received , but to meet her in person. I was shock. May god bless her heart.

I havent been here yet I have an appointment next week for a medical abortion (abortion pill). Chose here because like other places they take my insurance so I dont have to pay cash. To make the appointment very informal and receptionist polite. Once she collected all my information I was told not to eat after midnight and can come in 8/9am and that I will be there 4 hours. What am I suppose to think if you already saying 4 hours probably will be longer. I wont be able to eat. Thats ridiculous for a pill? I had this done about 5 years ago at another clinic and was out within 2 hours. I may not come here just because of that. Thats pure suffering and people have things to do.

All of the staff was extremely kind, patient, and helpful. Choices is a bit of a trek from where I live, but i’ll be switching to them for all my Ob/Gyn needs because my experiences have been so positive there so far. I’m someone that gets a lot of anxiety in doctors offices and I felt at ease here.

I give 5 stars for the service from the nurses and doctors not the rude receptionists. Today I was 2nd online with 3 other people behind me. The receptionist and the lady in front of were just chatting it up for a good few minutes. They were speaking Spanish so we couldn’t tell exactly what they were talking about but it was nothing about checking in which is what the line is there for! One of the people waiting was a pregnant lady who said she needed to sit and the receptionist completely ignored her and continued the conversation. After a few more minutes when it was obvious that the person in line in front of me and the receptionist were just having a causal conversation, I said excuse me, we are trying to check in. They then finished their conversation and the lady left and the receptionist checked me in in less than 2 minutes followed by the people behind me, all in less time than what she spent have that conversation. Unprofessional and didn’t even apologize for making people wait while she had a personal conversation.

I have been coming to Choices since 2012 when they moved to Jamaica Queens and I cant say enough about how much I love this place. The clinic is brand new, clean, and the staff treat you like family. Some days are busier than others when I come, but I am usually seen quickly for GYN. I want you to know this is the only place I will ever reccomend to my friends and family, thank you so much Choices!

I had a great experience at this medical center. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. Things went pretty quick and after my procedure they made sure I was well taken care of. Definitely recommend!

When you are at Choices, the staff makes you feel safe and comfortable, which is important when seeing a doctor. They keep your best interest at heart and makes sure that they assist you in any area of need. The staff are very professional and knowledgeable. I recommend Choices.

I’ve been here for about a year. I actually transferred from another Gyn that I was with for 8 years. I like the fact they always have appointments available and the np’s and gym are kind, knowledgeable, and take their time to discuss whatever topic. You need to feel comfortable with someone, especially if they are checking your lady parts.. lol

Im not sure why I was asked to set an appointment when Im not seen until after 2+ hours (and STILL waiting) ... The staff is friendly and I appreciate it HOWEVER.. Im still waiting to even be called. Each time I go to check to see how much longer .. Im told soon or shortly... 2 hours is soon or shortly to you??? Ohhh lets not forget I have to keep feeding the meter... the service need an reevaluation because this wait time is CRAZY! This isnt the ER.. {Highly annoyed}

The fact that they give you an appointment for a certain time and don’t see you for 3 hours is crazy

Dr. Miekel is great, my favorite doctor. She left from her previous BMC location so I followed her here. The wait time here is unbelievable almost three hours. I understand if it’s a doctors visit, but I had vaccine appts for depo shot and I had to wait three hours just for the nurse to give me the shot? I didn’t even see a doctor. bad service!

Garbage service, they take half a day to call you when you had a fixed appointment time And when they do call you, the husband or boyfriend cant even go in with the woman. paid $350 and no detailed bill was provided to know how much each service was. I will find a better place to go to for consuktation during the rest of my wifes pregnancy. If you dont complaint they wont get better so here I am.

My first time going to Choices Women medical center was a great experience . At choices you can make online appointments and see a doctor on same day. There facility is located right on Jamaica Ave, close to trains and bus stations. Choices facility is very clean and orderly. The staff is very respectful with helping patients and providing fast services for those in a rush. I like how this place offers very thing for women in one building and excepts most health insurances. They also give out free metro cards for Medicaid insurances. Overall choices is wonderful womens faciltiy to go to and close by. I will be going again

Everytime I go here either for just an annual checkup or to get new birth control it will take a minimum of 2 hours wait to even be seen even though I always make an early appointment. This is ridiculous for a routine that will take me no more than 5min in their office. Im finally going to change my GYN for better service.

Nice staff but the wait was not it was like I was waiting every 30 minutes to an hour for one person to get called a lot of the other girls around me too that was waiting longer than me Naked in a Gown sitting cold waiting to be called

My experience at Choices Womens Medical Center has been the best. I have been going to choices since I was 14 years oth. If you are a young female teenager who is looking for a medical center that makes you feel welcomed, confident about your decisions and looking to keep things confidential between you your nurses/doctors, I recommend choices. Ive always felt welcomed never had any problems with choices, every staff is friendly and helpful.

I enjoy coming to women choices medical center as soon I walk in the building I feel safe and a great vibe. The staff very friendly and professional they ask for my state i.d and my Medicaid card afterwards the staff tell me to go upstairs to see the doctor once I’m upstairs the Securiity open the door and greet me as well as the doctors they very friendly professional. Once I’m finish with my appointment I receive a metro card to go to my destination. I always have a great day when I come to women choices medical center.

This is the worst place ever. I will not recommend here for nobody. The staff is very rude and they don’t know how to speak to people. Plus I came in 8:00 and never got out until after 1:00. They say they are not having to much patients because of the covid yet still there waiting area full with no social distancing. Something has to be done about this place. I will never go back there. They will never get my insurance money.

Not even 1 star, if there was a choice.Went in emergency and they made me wait like 5 hours before I was even seen by a doctor mickle or mickey. Then my electronic prescription wasnt properly sent to pharmacy and next day they r closed. I tried calling and call tht i need my medication its urgent but they said we will contact you and nothing. Now Friday morning back for.blood work but still hv to wait for hours before I just do my blood work. Very lazy and irresponsible staff. Very less communicative and dont care sttitude towards a patient condition.Very very disappointed....there need to be strick action taken.I usually dont write bad comments but this was just too much beyond my patience.Thr is no one even to take your complain or listen to your need.

Ive been going to choices womens medical center for about 8 years now and not once was i disappointed with their services. The front desk receptionists are really nice and they get you to you appointment within no time, as well as the nurses and the doctor makes you as comfortable as possible. I recommend this clinic to anyone I come across. You will not regret it :)

Did not wait too long this time staff was friendly and things move smoothly only thing I didnt like is that they didnt have the Metro cards this time

Although it is a very busy clinic, I can’t blame them. They’re the best clinic I’ve ever been to. Very efficient, clean, overall best part is the service. The treatment here is impeccable. The doctors, nurses, m.a’s they’re all great!!!

I’ve been to the office in ocean ave and the office in Canarsie and it’s exceptional service down to the receptionist , you can get same day appointment the doctors in the office are precise. You can speak openly to them with confidence they make you feel comfortable. You can call the office and speak to the doctor if you need to . I’ve been a patient going on 3 yrs now I’ve been to many gynecologist office and none compare to medwells I love them . Dr marina moore is the best she delivered my 2nd baby boy she was a great support system through it all my husband loves her , my postpartum experience was way better this time around she refers you to other great professionals .Continue on the good work it’s appreciated and admired thank you so much for the staff and doctors in the office .Y’all are the best !!!!!

I was very satisfied with my experiences at Choices Womens Medical Center. The whole staff there were very friendly and respectful. I was there numerous times for different things, and each time the doctors made me feel comfortable. Very clean and well-organized place. I would definitely recommend Choices Womens Medical Center to friends and family for their needs.

I have been going to see my gynecologist at choices while I was pregnant with my second child. The professionalism of the employees and their kindness is just top notch. Even my oldest son who is 6 loves to go with me, he doesnt mind the wait bc he can watch cartoons 😉 I def recommend any women to go there, its a safe space and they will take care of you.
