Wonderful service...No long wait, person at front desk was knowledgeable, welcoming, did my vital signs...Nurse Practitioner was excellent, very thorough, examined me, took great care, highly knowledgeable, very caring...🥊🌹😁🌹🥊Third visit Nurse Practitioner was just as wonderful as the first visit Practitioner, went over my test results with me, was knowledgeable, however was a 20 minute wait in the treatment room; but person checking vital signs did BP on injured arm without checking...However, my previous second visit, not sure if it was with Doctor or Practitioner, 20 minute wait in treatment room, visit was full of hypothesis, not even asking or knowing my history or background, which is medical field Myotherapist and ex-athlete, prescribed me medication without knowing much about it or possible severe side effects which I checked pharmacy papers and patient reviews so didnt take it; desk person started printing paper to send me to different Imaging Center for tests without checking Center I am already scheduled for with other tests, so had to questionit and get it switched...Still never met actual PCP I was under...🥊🥊

I posted this same review on YELP.I used the Saban Clinic on Beverly Blvd in LA for over a decade. On my last appointment - which I had to wait for 6 weeks - I got stuck in traffic on my way there bc I moved to Irvine, so I called to let them know. The friendly voice on the phone said “no problem, we’ll see you here“. Well, I got there 10 minutes late and they turned me down. On top of that, they told me that my preferred NP didn’t work there anymore. So I decided to never go back there again.I searched for a local clinic and found TotalCare, not too far from my new place in Irvine. I talked to them on the phone and they were VERY helpful and professional. No appointment needed. So I walked in today. I was received by incredibly friendly staff and I was in and out of the clinic in 30 minutes with my typical physical exam and bloodwork done, referrals requested, all my follow up info, and the PA was very knowledgeable, super friendly, and in a great mood. It’s really great to know such a clinic is right in my neighborhood and I couldn’t wait to give them a great review!!! Thank you, TotalCare!

I’ve had pleasant experiences in the past, but this morning was different. Had an extremely rude person answer. He was short, cold, and closed-minded. They started passive aggressive then went full aggressive and tried to talk over me. This was all because he was unable to grasp that my old insurance on file was inactive. I told them multiple times I’m bo longer with them, but he insisted because “iT’S HeRe on FiLe” The most frustrating thing is to speak with someone who doesn’t know how incompetent they are. But it is also funny because he was upset with me over something he was confused about..All I can do is laugh, but anyone would be easily put off by him. He really made a simple task unnecessarily difficult. I didn’t waste my time trying to further explain so I left them to sit behind that desk to seethe. A nasty personality should not be the first thing a patient encounters when calling Total Care. Someone with emotional intelligence and a kind spirit would benefit this office much more than whatever that was.*edit* my husband actually had to be the one to call and have it fixed for me. I’m grateful that he was the one to help me out in receiving my medication

TotalCare Irvine is such great 👍 Doctor and staff are always nice, patient, caring and timely in treating patients. They make you feel very comfortable and like a family. Thank you so much!

It was a great experience. I went to the clinic for annuel check-up. I didnt wait long, and could see the doctor on time. Daniel and Dr. Jun Kim were very kind to me. They asked every detail about my recent health condition and gave me kind directions about the process. Even the blood test wasnt hurtful at all ! I highly recommend this clinic.

The management here is very unprofessional and irresponsible. They have a chaotic system and hire people who are not professional for their operator roles. My son had an appointment scheduled two weeks ago for his vaccination today. At that time, we confirmed with the guy that they could accommodate a four-month-old, and he said it was possible. However, after waiting for an hour today, they told us they didnt have vaccines for infants, so they couldnt vaccinate my son. If they couldnt accommodate, why did the operator initially confirm they could? This not only wasted our time but also delayed my sons vaccination, which was already two weeks late. The doctor and the African American receptionist we saw today were nice, but the operator, an Asian male who spoke Chinese with me on phone two weeks ago, was very irresponsible and disrespectful. Such an irresponsible person should not be working in such a place.

Its so difficult finding a good PCP or a General Practitioner in Irvine. Most have very difficult front desk personnel to work with. Others refuse to take certain insurance, even though I have a PPO. But based on the other Yelp reviews, I gave Total Care a try.I did a walk in and they accepted my PPO insurance. The front desk was very kind and professional. I waited less than 15 minutes to see a NP. The NP was just as kind and professional. My biggest issue is that I dont have any major issues, yeah I know, thats a problem. In Irvine, most front desks will turn me away from seeing their doctor because my illness isnt serious enough for their doctor. Ive actually had doctors turn me away because they complain my genes are too good.But at Total Care, they are actually willing to hear my concerns and get to the bottom of my problems. It turns out that I may have an infection. Also they even have a nurse on-site ready to draw blood so they can run my allergy test. I requested this SAME test from my current PCP office today and I got turned down saying I have to see an Allergist for this stuff. Now I know, I can just come to Total Care.When I was about to leave, the NP asked if I had any major medical issues or if Im on any meds. I said no, fearing Ill now be rejected, instead she actually said thats wonderful!!At this point, Im so grateful that Total Care has moved into Irvine. My ear has been bugging me for over a year and they finally diagnosed it. All my weird rashes and flare ups might just be solved after this allergy test. I would never have gotten this far in my treatment without Total Care.

I was a new patient today and I cannot say enough great things about this office. I was 30 minutes late to my appointment due to ride issues and they still kept my appointment. I was expecting to cancel and reschedule for another day but everyone was so understanding and friendly. I felt like the doctor actually listened to me and got everything done that I needed for this appointment.

My Phone consultation was 6 and my Doctor called before my appt time.All my concerns were managed well , Lab results were interpreted well .Future visit was scheduled and lab results were emailed.Over all experience was excellent!

They didnt accept me, even though it says “walk-in” on the doors and I have insurance. I have a temperature of 99.14 and they said they could not accept me, although I explained that I was ill and had an increased pulse

Highly recommend this place for your immigration medical exam. I got scheduled in the second day I called. Everything was fast and I ended up getting the forms ready 1-2 days after completing all the requirements, even though the original estimate was 7-10 days.

They took care of my stitches in a timely and professional manner, very happy with the care I received

They got me into a room pretty fast. New patient form was easy and not 20 pages long. Just one. Very friendly staff. Nurse Practitioner was very patient and took her time with me.

TotalCare is with all the meaning of the words, and I am totally satisfied, my family and I been to all TotalCare clinics, started over 20 years ago when we were living in Chino Hills, we visited the Chino office, TotalCare staff, nurses and doctors are very professional and caring.

Got diarrhea and fever recently. The doctor and nurse at Total Care are very nice and professional.

Went in for immigration exams and vaccines, and received a call a week later saying they lost all of our record and asked us to send them everything again. They give you longer processing time than other authorized clinics, much longer than necessary to allow errors and delays at their end. Calls were all answered in call center and need to be transferred to their front desk with reasons stated, but they could choose to answer you or just hang up. Unorganized clinic and very frustrating process working with them. I will make sure to file an official complaint to USCIS if they fail to process our case on time or make any more mistakes in our files.

The perfect balance of professionalism and warmth. Everyone here was incredibly helpful and kind. The nurse who drew my blood was literally the best! I’ve been poked so many times in the past but she drew my blood without me even feeling it! A++

I am very happy with every medical professional I’ve seen thus far. It was a bit easier to be seen when I was a walk in but I can honestly say the staff has made every effort to accommodate my scheduling needs

I was very sick and none of the urgent cares were taking walk ins . They accommodated me right away with tele health service. The provider Jessica was very empathetic and professional. Never used them before as my provider but got the great service this time…Thank you!!

This place was awesome! I’m from out of state and had a little infection, got me in within 20 minutes, got me a prescription got me out the door. Dr. Zhang really listened and didn’t rush me at all and was really caring. Great experience!!

It was just a phone appointment going over some lab results, and something showed up that I was expecting because it is something I’ve been dealing with a lot of my life. The PA spent so much time giving me FANTASTIC advice and life style habit changes that can help lessen the problem that no other dr has ever given me before.

Ask for recipes 3 times and no reply. Talk to their customer service and told me they don’t know what to do. My company suppose to reimburse it in 30days but now it’s too late for it. So be aware of it if you have same situation

My wife called the Irvine location this morning to inquire about vaccines, and she asked to speak with a Chinese speaking staff to confirm vaccine names, as she didnt know them in English. The staff that picked up was horribly rude, and told my wife to stop wasting her time and look it up on the internet. If this is how they treat their customers, do you trust them to put things in your body?

My experience with PA Dr. Jacqueline today in the telemedicine was great as she was so patient, kind and very knowledgeable to my mother’s situation and I am sure she would be a great doctor down the road because she processes a kind heart which is not something common nowadays as we tend to see some doctors in a big rush all the time to see next patient without giving the patience the current patient deserves.

I came in to see Jacquelyn with a complex problem.A medical issue seen by two Drs before herself with poor results. Jacquelyn listened to me and we arrived at the solution together.I can whole heartedly recommend this office.

Be careful at this clinic. They deceive people. They may ask you to pay for a service that you did not request. They can even trick you by saying that the service is free and then send you a bill.

They made it so easy to refill my prescription. I called them and they made me an appointment an hour later and I got my refill.

Such great customer service , my daughter was in need of a restroom, the person that was at the service desk did not hesitate to let her use it ! Thank you so much !

I don’t recommend coming to this clinic. You have to wait for a long time every time. If you have enough time, you can come and wait for 1 hour at the front desk. Enter the consultation room and wait for the doctor for at least 1 hour. If you are willing to wait, It takes at least 2 hours to see a doctor. If you are a PPO, it is recommended not to come.

Joyce, the phone customer service, is so bad. He looks condescending. What an attitude. Even hung up on the customer’s phone!
