Linda, the nurse practitioner was great from time of check in until check out. I think it was her name is Lindsay or Tiffany gosh I can’t remember the medical assistance name but she was fantastic. So kudos I got in at my appointment time and I was out of there in an hour. It was great. The care was perfect. Thank you very much for the help.
If I could leave this place a “0” star rating I would. We had a medical emergency and arrived before closing. Right when we walked in, one of the workers immediately stated they were not taking any walk ins at the moment (in a nasty tone). One of the nurses asked what was going on and we explained that my stepfather was having a nosebleed. She immediately said “oh, I would just take him to the ER.” The facility had no patients at all! One of them was sitting talking on the phone. The funny thing is it was just a nosebleed. Horrible care!
The front desk was very nice and responsive during check in. The nurse respected your privacy by not asking why you were here until in the room.By the time the nurse checks you in, takes your vitals, asks a few questions the Doctor arrives.Awesome! Doctor,s she Sat down and explained things clearly. So, cool and super nice put me in a relaxing mood (bc I was nervous for reasons why I was there to begin with). Also, the Doctor was informative and knowledgeable.Overall an excellent experience!
Referred to this establishment by my insurance company as an in-network provider. This site has Friendly staff. The entire room was super clean, medical care was fast and efficient in treating my injury. Bonus X-ray on site! Additional follow-up with Radiologist upon reading my results. Diagnosis of broken ribs. They dont do prior authorization for medication as requested by my medical insurance so my meds cost me a fee with using Good RX. Still a great medical care experience while visiting from another state!! Highly recommend!!!
I made an appt online and we were seen to a room shortly after arrival. The nurses were friendly and quick. The doctor was able to do a majority of the exam while still allowing my 7 yr old to continue sleeping, only briefly waking him. We got what we needed and were on our way. Always have a good experience at this location.
I just wanted to say. I love the doctors at this Urgent care. They have been so nice to myself and my kids, but the ladies working at the front desk are not very nice at all. I have sent both my kids there and they have said the same thing. Im sorry but if you plan on working with people, you should check you attitude and if you dont like your job, find a new one.
I broke my toe and begrudgingly had to make a trip to Urgent Care the very next morning. Everything went well, but the intake process was a little uncomfortable. When I made the appointment, in severe pain, I did not realize I missed a step. I felt like a child being scalded. When we got past the fact I would have to go somewhere else for x-rays, everything went smoothly. The doctor was very helpful and told me where to go for X-rays. I went to that location and got right in and out. I was pleased with my experience.
Great focus of attention to diagnose & prescribe meds for an infection on my right ear lobe....very unusual problem. Provider did an excellent job & I really appreciate her dx & Rxs for my care.
NP Alyssa was PHENOMENAL! Im obsessed. She was so affirming and efficient. I did not expect the level of care I received upon arrival. Everything was super quick and done with ease. If this wasnt a doctor, Id go back ALL the time.
Remarkably quick service. Slow night so I was in and out in literally 20 minutes. Both the nurse and doctor kind, cheerful, and professional. Best Urgent Care visit I’ve had.
Very impressed with their conduction of my test. Everyone was kind and thorough in explaining the procedure and treated me with respect. Comforting throughout the procedure. Called me with results when they said they would.
Wouldn’t even see me 30 minutes before close. If that’s a policy, understandable (not posted anywhere) but I was “greeted” by- “we aren’t taking walk ins” with attitude. Not a “how can we help” then an “apology, that may need to be seen elsewhere or tomorrow” maybe… ask people what brought them in? This is healthcare- try being kind to people 🤨
Avoid. My family relative was visiting from Europe. We went and asked how much will be the visit with no insurance. They told us 135$. In 2 weeks I received extra $155 bill automatically charged to my account. We literally spent there 10 minutes. Called billing they refused to cancel the charge.
Nurse Practitioner Alyssa Dias is wondering. This was my second time seeing her and she takes time to listen to my chief complaint so she can provide the best care for me. Needless to say she is very personable. I will definitely be returning.
This was my first visit with Novant and it will be the ONLY time I ever go to a Novant facility. I will be sticking to Atrium from now on and I regret ever seeing Novant. Let me just say that the NP I saw via e-visit 6 months ago was perfect. I have no complaints there. My complaints are with billing. First, I’ll preface this by saying that I opted for paperless when I filled out my info online. I do not trust mail and it’s slow compared to an email or text. When I was seen in Sept. 2023, I had to pay out of pocket before I could be seen, which I expected. Never was I informed of any extra fees or payments that would come after the appt. Fast forward 6 months and I’m hit with $204 that I have to pay ASAP. I called billing to get an explanation about where this charge came from and SURPRISE, it’s the remainder I owe for the visit in Sept. I was told that what I paid upfront was a discount (please explain to me how paying out of pocket is a discount ???) and that they’ve been sending me bills since Sept. Surprise #2: They had been sending me correspondence via mail even though I opted for paperless. Oh, and I check my mail often and never got anything in the mail. I also had never received an email or text until the one I got in late Feb. Which goes into my next point: If you could email or text me about this charge this whole time, WHY DIDN’T YOU??? It was also explained to me that I would be getting a payment plan since it was THEIR FAULT I never received the original bill. I would have preferred for them to take the charge off but I just really wanted to get off the phone at this point because I was over the nonsense. Well on March 7 I received an email that I got sent to collections and now I have to deal with that.Overall, please heed my warning and avoid going to any urgent care or go health facility through Novant. They will scam you out of money and make mistakes that could ultimately ruin your credit !!!UPDATE: Do you see their response where they said they were going to call me? I’ll spare you the suspense: they didn’t call!! I don’t know how much more I need to prove that any Novant Urgent Care or GoHealth is not worth your time!! Hope this helped someone avoid the issues I’m going through.
We had an exceptional first time experience the evening of 11/13/23. We made an appointment and we were seen quickly. The first team member that we met was Annette. She was personable, professional and funny. Our Provider was Alyssa D. She was kind, caring, professional and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of enough that we left feeling comfortable. Thank you again!
Do yourself a favor and consider this medical facility first when you need urgent care. The staff is caring, attentive, efficient, and very professional. I received excellent care for my injury. The medical staff provided first rate medical services plus they admitted me immediately. I’m so glad I know about them now. They will always be my go to first care provider.
Professionalism of all staff. The doctor and nurse practitioner were fabulous. The doctor listened carefully, comprehensive diagnosis and excellent treatment.
Stopped in earlier today to get some sutures taken out that I had put in after a fall on my motorcycle. I was unsure whether they would be able to remove them but they took good care of me and got them out with no problem. The staff was pleasant and I was in and out in no time. I give them 5 STARS and 2 THUMBS UP!
I think the PAs name is Alyssa? and she is awesome. Has helped me out a number of times in the past
PA Carly was exceptional. Extremely professional and proficient in stitching up cut right thumb Answered all questions.
Everyone was very friendly to me and they were able to take me for a walk in within 90 minutes. Answered all my questions thoroughly and had a strong handle on the busy office
Facilities were great!!!! Staff was friendly and professional, my new go to urgent care in the area. Highly recommend!!
I was there yesterday and they were great. They took really good care of me and they really seemed to care. Best urgent care visit for me...ever! Thank you.
I didnt have a bad experience with the provider but I didnt appreciate leaving without being treated. I work at an animal hospital. I came here for a simple cat bite I got while at work so I could get some antibiotics as a precaution. The wait time wasnt long and the nurse working the front desk was very nice. However, I checked in, paid, got into a room and my vitals taken, all for the nurse to tell me I had to have my worker comp already filed and completed in order to be seen. Usually they just have to get a call from my boss authorizing my treatments, and the provider even questioned why I hadnt just done that when she saw me getting refunded and heading out. But for some reason the nurse insisted on needing all of information completed beforehand and that unfortunately wasnt possible at the time.I know they have to follow certain procedures but part of me isnt confident they couldnt have worked around it given people are supposed to be able to rely on them to be treated in urgent medical situations, so Im not sure it was significant enough of a reason to choose to deny someone treatments. I hate to complain, but I ended up missing an entires day work waiting at a different urgent care, and mind you, a phone call worked just fine there, so I do feel a need to express my concerns.
I visited this location on Sunday. I had reserved a spot and was seen within 10 minutes. The reception staff were helpful and very pleasant. Shout out to Annette who took my vitals and preliminary information. Above and beyond!! And the physician I saw, Jeannie, was also exceptional. I never leave reviews, but this one was certainly merited! Thank you!
Great doctors and staff. Very nice facility. Very impressed with the care I was provided with.
My husband received excellent care. Very short waiting time.
I don’t know what these bad reviews are all about. I had an amazing experience here. The front desk staff was very helpful and the doctors were extremely nice and informative. Got me in and out quickly as well!
Im confused about the low ratings here. Ive only had great experiences at this urgent care. Staff was really friendly and it was quick and easy to fit in an apt with my busy schedule. Alyssa Dias, FNP was thorough and accommodating with my situation.
Rude and inconsiderate. the only urgent care where you cant bill online if you forget a card or are strapped for money but need treatment. acted like i was insane when i said the copay wasnt that much when i went a prior time. when i said i didnt have that and asked to bill online she said do you want to be treated or not? so we left
The front ladies here should be fired! Cant believe they refused service because I simply forgot my insurance card.
Just took my daughter here great service and made her feel so comfortable. She needed an Xray and EKG and the nurse explained everything to her. The Dr was personable and explained everything to her and us. Everything was fine and they made us all feel very comfortable.Thank you very much!!!
This was the worst urgent care I have ever gone to. The women at the front were busy laughing and goofing off then paying attention to the customers. I came in and waited 15 minutes to even be acknowledged and the when I checked in I let them know that I was referred by my MD for a diverted attack and needed antibiotics. It was an appointment only, so I had to wait for hours to be seen. Once I was pulled into the room I was then informed I needed to go to an ER to be seen. This should have been told to me the 4 hours before when I came in.I called my doctors office at 4:30 pm and they sent me to another urgent care, where I was seen and received antibiotics. I will never use this service again. I have been with Novant for many years and have never been treated so badly. The front desk and the doctor might need to listen to people when they first come in. They need to listen to reason for the appointment. My husband who had surgery on his prostate the week before spent over 7 hours in the car that day, mainly because of this place.Listen to your customers!Rhonda Nordan
After someone at atrium urgent care Rudely told me “no walk ins” when I needed medical attention I then went to this novant location at 730 pm and they were very helpful and got me in They were also really nice 😊 Andrea and latasha and sharen at the desk
Worst experience ever with the staff. I was the ONLY person waiting and the receptionist took over 10 minutes to ask for my health insurance card after I asked how much longer. Then the nurse asked me 3 times what pharmacy which I replied including the name of the street, and they ended up sending the prescription to my old address city. I’ll keep everything with Atrium Health from now on. And it’s unfortunate because the doctor was actually nice.
I gave one star because this facility although very clean and new the staff leaves lots to be desired. My experience: I arrived when this urgent care opened at 8 am on 7/19/21. I was told to check in online. When I did so the system said my time slot was being held for 12:20 or 12:40. I presumed that it was simply an automatic message so I sat patiently waiting as one staff member assisted another customer with paperwork and I watched the other two staff members chat behind the front desk. After waiting approx 30 minutes I walked to the desk and asked if the 12 something time was when I would be seen or if they would see me before that. I was advised by the male at the desk that there were other patients waiting to be seen before me. I stated that other than the man who was already being assisted that I was the only person waiting. The male proceeded to tell me that he had “patients waiting in their cars in the parking lot. I was welcome to wait or come back at my appointment time.” I walked outside to call my primary care physician and looked around, there were about 6 cars in the parking lot and I did not see one car with a person in it. I looked back at the urgent care and shook my head. One person walked in after me and she was also directed to sign in online just as I was. I remained outside the door and about 5 minutes later the female called me in for my appointment. I was directed to a room where my vitals were taken and I was asked the reason for the visit. The PA then came in asked why I was there and if any vitals were taken. He did the necessary tests and left the room. 5-10 minutes later he returned with the results, and gave me my instructions. When I left, there was no one in the waiting area and I noticed one exam room closed. Thus, it appeared that no one else had come in for an appointment.1. Why did the male at the desk feel he needed to lie about customers ahead of me waiting? This demonstrates lack of integrity, much less no customer service skills.2. Why bother to take my vitals if they are not entered in the Novant system or shared with the PA? The process clearly is flawed or the staff is not following procedures correctly.3. If this urgent care facility is only going to see patients by appointment, this clearly needs to be disclosed on the website and the entry door.
Im currently here and its not that crowded but I still havent been seen, it been 4.5 hour and NoBody has seen me yet. This is un heard of for this to be an emergency room facility. IVE SPOKEN with the pplat the desk and they have no words or answers for me as to when Ill be seen. Very bad hospitality here and they do it with smile on there faces here In triage department. I recommend that you will be here for a long time. I recommend that you sues Atrium health not this place
Im not sure why the low ratings? Ive visited this location at least three times in the past six months and each time I would say its been the best urgent care experience Ive ever had. Check-in took a little while today because they were experiencing a problem at the front desk but the healthcare providers have been smart, sharp and decisive and have always provided excellent care and a helpful plan of action. So grateful to have this location in Huntersville. The negative reviews do not reflect my expereince.
Thank you to Natalie Hernandez and Lauren Miller PA. I made an appointment for back pain. When I arrived Natalie was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and professional finding out the status of my insurance. Once I entered the exam room and disclosed symptoms; she immediately ran a test. Her proactive approach to helping me was greatly appropriated. Once Ms Lauren came into the exam room; again knowledgeable, helpful, professional. We talked, she examined, then gave her recommendations with comprehensive reasoning to why she was going with this approach to help me feel better; so I can get back to work. I don’t go to the doctors because I have bad experiences… BUT NOT TODAY!!! Thank you, ladies!!
11/10 These ladies were amazing. They got me in so fast and were so efficient, caring, and personable. I was in and out and felt very taken care of. Id recommend this Urgent Care Clinic to anyone. 🥰
Everything in Denver and my primary was booked up. I saw online where there was a 39 minute wait so headed to the Huntersville location. They squeezed me in very quickly, were very friendly, and was in and out for a strep test in 10 minutes after testing. No waiting forever for the dr to come in. They had two on duty so everything ran smoothly!
My experience was awesome! This was my first time visiting an Urgent Care. Mobile check-in was seamless. All the staff were pleasant, the precautions taken to provide safety during this time of Coronavirus were excellent and the nurses and doctors that attended to me were friendly and knowledgeable. The facility was clean and I would highly recommend this facility to others.
Novant Urgent care is the worst. I was so disappointed how my daughter and I were dismissed. I rushed my daughter to Novant Urgent Care in Huntersville when she had an allergic reaction to a medication. I entered the facility only to find it empty. The PA sitting in front of the computer never once moved from his seat. The whole staff (2 PAs, a nurse, and a receptionist) moved very slowly, and we sat there for 35 minutes, waiting to be seen. My daughters condition was worsening, and when I questioned the wait, she told me some appointments booked online needed to be seen. I mentioned the center was empty, and she said these appointments were getting out of their cars; no one ever entered while I continued to wait an additional 12 minutes. I was very concerned that my daughters face and neck were red and bumps everywhere. It did not concern them one bit that I was a concerned mother with a daughter having an allergic reaction. The visit would have cost me $135 before even being seen. I waited 47 minutes with no other persons entering the facility. I called our pediatrician, and they mentioned I should bring her in immediately. The reason for the Urgent Care visit as I did not believe I was able to get an appointment with our pediatricians office, but to my surprise, they saw me immediately. I paid less at the doctors office.
Walked in the door and was not even in there for more than a second before asked if I had an appointment. When I said I didnt, I was berated for not having one.I havent been to an urgent care for more than 5 years, so I was unaware that appointments were necessary.I cant speak for the drs, but the receptionists are awful.
The emergency room is understaffed and getting in to receive medical care takes a few hours. While my patience tends to be short I have to remind myself the staff on duty does NOT make decisions on the staffing levels. However, I do use Novant as my healthcare provider and I do receive excellent care.
Wow! I could not believe how amazing the service was at the facility. While the wait was up to 4 hours, they said they would work me in if possible so I stood by and they got me in within an hour. Due to the nature of the injury, I did ask if a doctor could take a quick peek to determine if I should go to the ER instead. The doctor came out to look at the injury within minutes and said he could treat it there. Excellent experience!
I was unable to stay for my scheduled visit. The area is too small. The nurses bench is in the same area as the receptionists/waiting area. One of the nurses must have been new; she and the tenured nurse were chatty Patties getting to know each other. I was in for an ear ache. Upon asking the receptionist for ear plugs or cotton swabs to try to drain out the consistent high pitched chatter and squeals of excited laughter, she was unsure and asked the tenured nurse who then bellowed out we don’t carry either of those. Now I’m not rude so I hadn’t mentioned too loud that their echos were causing extreme pain but when I walked away, the receptionist informed them tactfully of my situation. The tenured nurse mumbled something then started to shriek, laugh and speak even louder. I don’t know if it was intentional although working in healthcare she should have understood the sensitivity of the matter. I ended up going as a walk-in same day to a competitor facility and was in and out with antibiotics within an hour.
Open at 8am. Walk in at 8:02. First thing said “We are gonna be on an hour wait” LOL wow didn’t know i was in canada with socialized healthcare. Do you think communist leader Kim jong Un provides better care for his citizens? You people are a JOKE. First person didn’t get called back until 8:30. What are y’all in the back jerking each other off for the first half hour of your shift ?Update: Was told i have covid and to take benadryl. was told this by a woman that had air pods in her ears drinking her mcdonald’s coffee like she’s not even working. Is that sanitary ? and benadryl???? for covid??? that’s a new one. you should have your license revoked absolutely disgustingly horrid how you people can even say you are a medical professional, a monkey could do better. you should be ASHAMED.
Novant GoHealth is listed as a contracted VA community provider for Urgent Care through Optum for veterans so I went there on Sunday, April 16 to try and get care. The receptionist had no clue about Novants contract with VA community care so I really had to push her to look into it and call the 800 number for Optum to verify my eligibility. Even though Optum verified my eligibility and gave her a VA authorization number, the receptionist kept insisting that their system would not take the insurance so my only option was to self pay! Needless to say, I left and went to Atrium. Novant contracted to be a community care provider for Veterans but obviously they do not care about serving veterans and honoring that contract because veterans being asked to self pay for a contracted service is unacceptable. They obviously never set up their system to take Optum insurance for the VA and they never educated their employees either. If Novant cannot get their act together to accept the insurance they contracted with, then they need to remove themselves as a provider.
I had a great experience here, the ladies at the front desk were very kind and reassured everyone that they would be taken care of. Dr. Durbin was understanding and kind as well.
They sent a pink eye medication to the wrong pharmacy and it couldn’t get fixed because it was after 8 and the urgent care was closed. Now I have to go home to a wife and newborn without pinkeye antibiotics until tomorrow. Mistakes happen but the physician and I had a discussion about picking it up tonight because of my newborn and need for medicine tonight. Just so angry about this experience
Great staff! Nurse and Doctor Hablitz are so sweet and were just amazing with both of my kids! They made this visit very exciting for.both of them! Will come back again to this location! The wait list was long because a few people did reserve a spot online before us so our estimated time wait was an hour but those people never showed up so we walked in and out quite quickly despite there being only one doctor seeing all patients.
I never leave ratings anywhere. In fact, this may be my first. I set up a virtual appointment yesterday for today. Got confirmation through MyChart and started getting text notifications. Was told through text that my visit would be happening not on MyChart but through a 3rd party site and to await the link. Never go the link. I call, and the front desk is zero help. Doesnt even have the virtual appointment schedule. I try to do the visit then on MyChart just to see. No one ever shows. Then I get a message through MyChart saying I no showed the appointment. I call back and another front desk staff member takes down my info and says someone will reach out to me, which never happened. So frustrating. If youre going to offer the service, you have to make it seamless. Got a teledoc visit way easier and got a prescription in no time. So done with Novant.
Useless and rude! Unable to treat simple emergencies. It is the second time we come here and they are unable to help. They either do not have the staff or the equipment. This time I came because my husband has an awful migraine that his regular medication was not helping with. His neurologist left Novant so he would be a new patient to another and they cannot see him until June. Before I finished telling the receptionist what we were there for a man yelled from behind we dont treat migraines go to the ER! I left and came to a real Novant Urgent Care and they are treating him with no problem. This urgent care is useless and should be shut down.
I was calling their facility for 30/45 min and no one would answer. I showed up at 7:45 pm. They told me that they would not see me because they were about to close. I then told them what was going on as far as my throat hurting so bad that I have not eaten or drank anything all day. Im a single mother and cant afford to leave work early. So I rushed over as soon as I got off. The front office lady proceeded to ask me if she could put me on the schedule for tomorrow.....there was 3 other nurses/office personnel witnessing the whole thing and didnt say one word. I asked if they could just see me really quick to get me the necessary care/medicine needed. The lady proceeded to tell me that its a whole process for getting me seen. You should not be in a medical office setting if youre more worried about going home than helping someone.
Have tried calling this office multiple times for the last 30 minutes and no one answers. The voicemail box is also full. It shouldnt be this hard to contact someone at a medical facility to ask a simple question like, What is the current walk-in wait time? which is not shown online. I understand it might be busy, but thats no excuse to just not answer the phone. And, if the voicemail box is full, Im guessing those calls arent listened to or returned. Not at all the way a medical facility should function.
My actual check up was fine. Had issues later and we called 3 times and got sent to voice-mail. We texted twice and emailed. No response.Update: Ended up having to go to a different urgent care because of the lack of response. They diagnosed me with an additional problem and gave me meds on the spot and shifted my prescription. Terribly disappointed in the lack of care at GoHealth.
We received top notch service from a very friendly and caring staff. The facility is the nicest urgent care we’ve been to and is new, clean and very nice for a medical office. This was the best experience we’ve had at an urgent care facility and if (when) the need arises, we will be back. Thank you Novant GoHealth!
*Sleazy billing practices*If you do a walk in appointment, do it in the earlier half of the day or else you will be turned away.I went to their site to make an appointment for same day it said the wait time was 120+ min. However I didnt notice that when I selected the first available appointment - it was TWO DAYS OUT. So I showed up the same day I made the appointment only to find out I had the wrong day and also they were already at their limit for the day between appointments and walk-ins. I was told that Id be better off doing a walk in the next day.I came back the next day and checked in as a walk in. Wait time was about 5 hours. Luckily you can leave and have them text you before your appointment so you can come back.I came back and the doctor was a bit rude - probably from being overworked and my problem was minor but I had no way of knowing that for sure on my own.I dont have insurance (I refuse to pay hundreds of dollars per month when I only see a doctor 2 or 3 times a year) but novant offers a discount for self pay patients. I was charged $97. I have the receipt which shows my payment, but doesnt list anything else.A week later Ive received a bill in the mail. It shows the charge for the office visit, my payment, the amount of the self pay discount ($93), and the balance left over. I was never made aware that I was only making a partial payment and would need to pay more. I would have rather just paid the bill completely the first time (I thought I had until this bill arrived). I paid the bill but Im disgusted with the way it was handled. From beginning to end this whole process has been awful.
We arrived at 7:59 am. They said they had no idea which doctor would be coming in and that I could wait in my car. We watched the nurse practitioner stroll in close to 9:30am for first patient. We were told we could get Covid and antibodies testing upon arrival. The nurse practitioner said we couldnt and never gave a reason. She only provided Covid test. She was not overly friendly and front desk seemed disorganized. I would have never wasted my time if I had been given accurate information. Very disappointing as I am a big Novant supporter. I would only return to this facility as a last resort.
Front desk receptionist today 8/27 has terrible service. Since I walked in all she asked was why I came in. If we come in isn’t for no reason. Do not come in here! They are lazy and do not want to help anyone. Not even a freaking check up. I still don’t know why they didn’t want to look at my arm when it hurts. Please stay away from this place. Go to the actual Hospital rather than this garbage place.
Absolutely rudest people working here. I came in with my step son as a walk in they told me to fill out the registration and wait in my car until my time. The wait time i was given was 5 hours and 30 minutes. So i went back home. After 20 minutes I received a text message asking for my symptoms and insurance and i gave them that, then about 10 minutes later they proceeded to call me saying they’re moving onto other patients because i haven’t came in for my time yet and i told them i had a 5 hour wait and nobody told me i had to come in earlier or let me know that it was my time to come in. The lady on the phone wouldn’t let me speak and kept interrupting me saying that now they’re moving on and i can’t be seen because they move on after 10 minutes of waiting. She was absolutely rude, didn’t care that THEY didn’t tell me it was my appointment time and THEY didn’t tell me to come in. She said the wait time isn’t accurate and that I’m supposed to assume it wasn’t the time i had to wait for even though nobody had informed me of that prior. The front desk staff was dismissive and gave me no information. Do not come here, I’d rather drive 2 hours to a different location than try and talk to the unprofessional and unpleasant staff here.
Got Covid tested for travel to Hawaii after a very stressful past couple of days. I called a different location a month ago to figure out the process and was told only walk-ins are accepted. We called 48 hours before our flight to make sure we could walk in and were told there would be at least a 2-3 hour wait. We show up to get tested around 4 and were told they quit accepting walk-ins after 3. After calling almost every other location, a lovely lady at the Park Road clinic offered us a virtual visit for the following day. We did that and went to Huntersville for our Covid test, and although the front desk gentleman and provider were stressed to the max and getting fussed at by other patients for things they cannot control, they were very efficient and kind. We appreciate your help! Thank you for what you do!
William Boehranger is an amazing physician assistant. He actually listened to my concerns and I didnt feel rushed. Its rare to receive exceptional patient care these days thanks to all the medical groups thats taken over healthcare. The Front desk is awesome as well. That is a great staff over there.
I made a appointment to be seen at 4:30pm got here around 4:15pm to a sign on the door to open at 5.pm So I come back at 5pm and waiting over 30mins for someone to open the door so I can be seen. No one ever came and my app was at 4:30.pm The lights are on but no one is in the office. I dont know what is going on.
Gentleman who checked me in was friendly and efficient. Nurse was lovely and personable. PA listened intently to my symptoms and history, and treated appropriately. She was also kind and sympathetic. Great team! Particularly for an industry (urgent care) that has a history of appalling service. Very Well Done.
It was a quick process and the provider listened and heard my concerns.
Easy check-in, with a short wait time to be seen on a Sunday afternoon. The doctor was attentive, diagnosed my son with the flu, and quickly retrieved the necessary paperwork for us. The facility was clean, and comfortable. When I called back later to ask about an alternative to Tamiflu, the doctor responded quickly. We will definitely return if another Urgent Care situation arises.
This place turned me away before I barely got in the door. With no one inside the man (a nurse or doctor from the back) kept complaining that they were full with appointments, since when did it become good practice to turn away patients in need? He didn’t even ask what my issue was, nor did he try to offer any resemblance of assistance nor concern.
I experienced a fairly egregious fall and sustained a number of injuries. The process at this facility was efficient, and everyone there was absolutely wonderful and compassionate. I truly could not have asked for a better team of health care providers. I highly recommend them for any urgent care need.
Brought my husband here last night to get tested for the flu. Yup, he has it. Staff was friendly and got us in and out very quickly. Here again tonight with my son getting tested for the flu. Same great experience as last night. Very clean and new. Staff is great and friendly.
Phenomenal experience. Clean, well-organized with an easy online-check in process. Was able to get help for a painful condition quickly. Excellent providers. This is the best of healthcare.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We reserved a spot and they saw us right on time. Great experience.
Worst service ever, fist thing they ask you if you have an appointment. It should be called Urgent care if you work by appointment. Urgent care don’t work by appointments. That’s why they kind of work like a hospital
I came to this site right from work I waited over an hour just for them to open. Which was my choice so Im not upset about that . The receptionist was very rude. I had been having blurred vision really bad headaches felt like I was gonna pass out . Had to walk slow. On the phone she act like she was frustrated and literally they had just opened. Then she had an attitude asking about insurance. I didnt physically have my card on me as again I was coming from work. I know Novant you can look them up. She said rudely I physically need the card so what are you gonna do? I responded I can go get the card I only lived 10 minutes away. I asked would I have to wait or could I keep my spot because I know that they do that. She responded I guess we can try fit you in when you come back. I never once raised my voice I never said anything smart so Im not understanding what her attitude was. She definitely should be trained on how to speak to people she rather sent me away risking me fainting while driving all because it was early and she was upset I came in as soon as they were opening . She need to be in the back not speaking to anyone . Its sad and I definitely will not ever come back . I dont even need a response because you all allow her to be that way .. The young gentleman next to her sat there like hes use to her being nasty to people. Never once intervened .
Fast check-in, quickly seen, problem resolved. Nice staff. All in roughly 30 mins. I definitely will come back to the Huntersville location.
They have NO clue what they are doing, of cource nice and new facility but it ends there. I had a bad case of hiccups, I was offered NO treatment, NO advice, NO medicine or prescription. an absolute waste of time, energy and effort all the while you are not feeling well. and they are charging me $130 . So why are you charging me when No service of any value was provided ? the answer I have so far is - because we checked your VITALS. Un-ethical and corrupt to the core. avoid 100% - just look at all the one star reviews.
Disgusting service here. After bringing in my gma to have them check her arm the refuse to see her or help her. Not even a check up. What type of urgent car did this then? Horrible horrible please save your self the time and do not go there. I wish I could rate them no stars!
The worst place ever, I went there last night at 7:30 with my son and the doctor didn’t even wanna see him, he just said he needs to go to the emergency room because they couldn’t help him there. All he had was cellulitis and just needed an antibiotic but of course they want people to do spend more money so let’s send them to the ER. Bad medical practice.
Terrible customer service. Billed my old insurance under the incorrect name even though I gave the front desk the correct insurance card and ID. Have been fighting for over 2 months to get this resolved. Do not come here.
The absolute worst customer experience Ive ever had in a medical facility. I showed up early and was checking in describing why I was there. Im a cancer patient whos recently undergone several surgeries and radiation on my on throat and head. I was there because wear a mask for the previous week had given me Thrush to the point that I could not swallow. The PA refused to see me if I wouldnt wear a mask. I asked how he would examine my throat with a mask on, he had no answer. All he said was that the masks are to protect him. He really needs to find another line of work. I walked out without being seen, yet when I got home I see they marked my account as a no-show. It should have said, PA refused to treat. Definitely wont be paying that bill.
Service was ok but they never sent my baby’s prescription to the pharmacy I went all the way to the pharmacy for them to tell me they didn’t receive anything from the doctor. I called the office and no answer for over 20 mins. So now my daughter has no medicine to treat her symptoms smh. How could they forget to send over her prescription.
Very nice looking facility. Staff were friendly and professional. I was lucky and my appointment was on a day when they were not very busy so everything went very quickly. They had access to my records and I left with a print out of the visit and everything I needed to do.
Walked in at 730pm to have my daughters ear checked out due to possible ear infection. Receptionist stated they weren’t taking any more walk-ins and we could come back tomorrow. The hours state open until 8pm and walk-ins welcome, no appointment needed. Why advertise this if it’s not true?!?
Either go to your Primary doctor or go to Presbyterian Hospital...by pass Urgent Care. Went in and the receptionist asked me why I was here and I told him I wanted to see a Doctor to make sure I did not have pneumonia. He then asked my name, phone number and he was going to send me a registration papers...quite confusing as I have been to my primary doctor, pulmonary doctor and Presbyterian Hospital - Huntersville..... All of my medications, history and insurance card is in Novants system. So he then tells me that there will be a long wait and I said okay and I tell him I will wait in the waiting room...there is no one in there. He then tells me I need to wait in my car. And he will send me the registration papers. This might be affiliated with Novant but this is not Novant and the service is not the same. Left went home and found an appointment with my doctor tomorrow.
I pulled up at 6:02 pm appointment was at 6:10 called and told them I was there and they came out at 6:28. They told me I had a fever good lungs and good heart rate. For some reason they felt the need to test me for corona and strep throat because my throat hurt but it was clearly tonsillitis and I even told them I thought that was it. They didn’t even look at my throat besides to swab it for strep. They then made me take my own COVID test up the nose and I tested negative for strep like I was expecting, I’m sure I have negative corona as well because I went to a different hospital 5 minutes after and tested positive for tonsillitis LOL!
Very rude staff! Customer service doesn’t mean anything and doesn’t exist in this place. They prefer to argue with you instead of helping you. I’m not sure how Novat healthcare could manage to gather that many rude & unpleasant people in just one location!I send you an email as you requested and got this msg: The group wecarenovanthealth only accepts messages from people in its organization or on its allowed senders list, and your email address isnt on the list.
The staff was friendly and I was seen quickly after making a reservation online just an hour prior. I would absolutely return in the future.
I came in needing stitches. It took them 20 minutes to send me a text with log in info for paperwork, and I had to ask for it twice. Apparently, even though Novant is IN THE NAME, they have almost no affiliation. Not in the staff, not in the billing, nothing. After another 10 minutes of me trying to explain how billing works, they told me to go elsewhere. I pointed out that I AM STILL BLEEDING. They gave gause and tape and THEN sent me away.
Everyone was very nice and was clean and they listeners to you they are great
I just got back into town an arrived at 7:42PM when they advertise open until 8PM. I asked for them them to look at my 6YO in which I was turned away because while they say they’re open until 8, they stopped accepting people at 7:30….to me, if your open until 8 then you are open until 8.
This place is a joke I don’t you recommend you go here They lie Wright to your face when you check in without an appointment and tell you it’ll be about an hour and when you come to see it be three hours later before they even notify you if they ever do So I called them while waiting in my car and was told there be another hour and a half before they can see me. I had stomach pains I need to use the bathroom and I couldn’t even do that because they didn’t want anybody inside with one person sitting in the lobby total joke.
The NP (I think her name was Linda) today refused to even evaluate my sick 13yr old daughter. She said I had to take her to the ER because she had been vomiting. Without even evaluating her, she said she was dehydrated and needed a Covid test but needed fluids first at the ER. What kind of Urgent Care turns away a sick child without ever even laying eyes on them or knowing the whole story?? I even made an online appt 3 hours prior with the reason for the visit but when I got there it was suddenly an issue. Don’t go into medicine if you don’t want to take care of patients!
I cut my finger and of course had to go get treated. The staff there was awesome, they treated me with such care, made a bad situation bearable with wonderful bedside manner, and gave me the things I need to be okay while I heal. If I need urgent care again, will definitely head back there.
My name Sandy Myers ! i been coming here they are good is a busy place but they do the best! enjoy my visit music relaxing my favorite is Sheila i the glamour life laughing laughing
We got routed to the ER both times we visited without even been checked. Just a waste of time visiting here compared to other urgent care centers.
This our go-to Urgent care place. Friendly doctor and helpful pleasant front staff. Very kind to children.
Cannot get in touch with them to get information corrected; Voice mail box is full when trying to phone in. When I went in person got the run around and was told to call another number which pointed me back to the clinic. Went back again and still dont have the issue resolved as I get pointed yet to another telephone number and stating that no one can help. Go Health is NOT a Novant Health affiliate they are only contract by Novant so any connections of medical information will not be placed in the Novant Health chart.
The initial visit was great. However dont expect to be able to call them with any questions because they dont answer the phone. The voice mail box is always full. Theres an option to text but thats a waste of time. Will not be returning to any novant health locations.
Useless staff, unprofessional. Under staffed.. no one answers the phone. Mailbox is full. And this is where the Drs from Novant are sending patients who are sick??? When did drs stop seeing sick patients?? Disgraceful
Very un-organized. They had patients in the room and didn’t even know they’re names. I also received a text stating it was my turn. And still ended up waiting a hour. Never go here for an emergency!
Just read below at the 1 star reviews! Spent 6 hours there tonight and what everyone is saying is 100% true!! Drive to Charlotte to get an actual diagnosis from professionals! Shocking and Unbelievable experience!
My child waited to see the PA for over an hour for a severe ear infection and blockage. The PA rushed through the exam and didnt attempt to try to unblock the wax from the ear. Then she prescribed an over the counter ear wash. The next day my daughter had to go back to another care facility because she was having trouble hearing, started to have a fever, and was in severe pain. I dont think well return.
I have MANY DETAILS. I’ve tried posting several times. Someone needs to call me IMMEDIATELY! You need to be shut down and based on how many 1 stars you have you are doing NOTHING to correct your serious issues including HIPAA violations! I will be reporting you and you will be fined. But hopefully you will correct your very serious problems or be shut down!
The person checking in was very rude on the phone and in person ...the service was very good..( doctors very nice) .just very rude check-in lady ; my daughter had a broken bone we were out of town and on the weekend so true emergency!! And heard her talking rude to others as well...needs attitude adjustment
My little man came home sick from school today and by the time I got home from work and drove over they stayed later to fit us in to make sure he was taken care of. They were very friendly and kind and went out of their way to go above and beyond for us.
Pretty quick, friendly. They werent sure if their radiologist was coming in or not so they almost sent me away, but were able to call and find out. In and out once we solved that.
Friendly staff, but the doctors change so much that if you, heaven forbid, need a refill of a medication or a basic follow up call, nope its another in-person visit with a different doctor. Not really the best customer service.
Made me pay the copay and Im already out of pocket. BCBS paid them in full so they made 120 off me. Not happy. Also I had a fracture in my foot and when I called to ask someone to come outside to help me the nurse was rude and super annoyed.
Availability was great and wait time minimal.
I wish I could give zero rating, this center sucks. Very rude response. They say walk-ins are welcome and front desk would not even let you in the door without an appointment. There are no appointments until next two days, why is this even an urgent care then.
The staff was super friendly and efficient at the Sam Furr Rd location. I actually enjoyed being there which says a lot!
These women working here are so nasty and rude this place shouldnt be allowed to operate. In my opinion they need to fire the entire staff and hire someone who knows how to talk to people. You go here they will treat you like a animal. There is one in Cornelius. I would try that one first
Great urgent care! Theyre overall kind people and they were honest with their wait times. Would recommend.
Fast and efficient. Could not have been happier with the ease of making an appointment, the friendly staff and ultimately the patient support my family received was top notch.
Very friendly, caring, and professional staff! We were taken care of in a timely manner and will definitely return to and recommend this facility!
Walked in got checked right in 15 mins later was seeing a doctor. He was real nice and helpful. Affordable and a really nice place. Highly recommended them.
Made an appointment for my wife, she was very satisfied with the attention from the nurse and the doctor. Worth the drive from Mint Hill to be seen.
Could someone please just answer the phone 🤬 they failed to give me a doctors note after asking and my employer need it for documentation!!!! This is sooooo frustrating. The mailbox is full and I have tried call multiple times.
Very kind professional staffPrompt treatment
Quickly seeing me and the staff being helpful
The level of professionalism and care. This was my third time receiving care at this facility.
Everybody was so friendly and kind and they went out of their way to help me. On my way out I told them I’d give 10 stars 🥰.
Incredibly rude staff that do not want to see you or help you. Go elsewhere.
Fast and friendly enough for a rapid Covid test. Easy checkin process and can wait in car.
Do not go here, its a joke. Unless your time and money isnt important. Go to Atrium.
Surprise bill after they took $175 c ash for the visit
Fast appts for COVID test and results in 12 hours, staff was friendly.
The lady behind the front desk is the rudest person I think Ive ever met
Don’t bother going here unless you want to be talked down to and not treated like a human being. The lack of professionalism is unbelievable
Horrible place. Wait times are ridiculous and multiple people are waiting hours in their car. Seriously…. What is wrong with business today.
Seth was excellent!
What kind of medical clinic doesnt do physicals evaluations? 🤔
Very helpful, they had me in and out in a sufficient time especially for a walk in.
They declined my mother services because ahe is older.
Terrible service! All about getting money out of you and giving generic advice that you can google. Very disappointed.
Team is great!
Fast and no wait. Friendly RMA and doctor
Great customer service and very friendly staff!
No walk ins allowed. So much for urgent care.
Quick concise and thorough. Thank you
Excellent service
