Very professional team, well organized with a fully stocked facility. When you walk in it feels like a hospital. The staff are concerned with your health and wellness. Much quicker than an emergency room but will recommend an emergency room visit if they think it is necessary.

We have gone here many times when we were first settling from moving. Staff had always been caring and appointments are easy to make online. We also come if it is late during the week or on the weekends. Definitely a place to come for urgent care.

Great front desk receptionist! Amazing attitude. The facility was very clean and organized. The nurses and physicians were great, knowledgeable and informative. Will definitely be visiting for any further medical needs.

The doctor himself was very pleasant to be seen by, but the assistant Greg was horribly rude. I brought a patient of mine in who suffers from several disabilities and he continued to sigh and roll his eyes because she wasn’t the most cooperative.

All of staff were very professional, pleasant and personable. You can tell that they care about your needs even if they do not know you. I wasnt rushed out of the door.

I received a very good response from the doctor today and she was very sure of her diagnosis! The fact that she suspected a pneumonia and decided to treat it without the x-ray was extremely appreciated! Great job

Check in and setting up the appointment was very easy, was very quick and everyone was so nice. This will be my new go to when I need the walk in and I will be referring my friends and family there too!

Service was great, easy, and quick, the online option to schedule the appointment (same day, an hour out) and finish the intake made things easier and ideal, given I may have had fractured hands. The staff was professional, attentive and caring, especially provider Annalisa B. Happy with my experience and would recommend it to others with urgent care needs who can’t wait for an appointment with their provider, or waste time in an emergency room. 👍👍

The staff and particularly Malika Reeves, PA was very caring and attentive when addressing my health concerns. I had the pleasure to be in Malikas care at multiple occasions in the past, and she was always very thorough during the visits as well as in following up on how I was doing. Whenever I am in her care, I feel being in great hands and that my health matters.

Ive been to Hartford Healthcare Hamden urgent care clinic for myself and family members. The staff is very polite, caring and highly knowledgeable. The office and rooms are very clean as well. I have told several family members and friends, if they need to go to an urgent care clinic Hamden location is the one. Thank you for all you do!!!

Although the Dr. in Cheshire was pretty thorough in her exam, she came to a different diagnosis than her counterpart at urgent care. I thought a clinical diagnosis is a clinical diagnosis, how can they differ? Also, I had asked for strong cough syrup because I have a severe sinus infection and cough so hard it feels like my head will explode and the pain in my throat and head is so severe I almost called 911 on myself. She refused saying they dont prescribe opiates. Well at 67 I know what helps and what doesnt and what I was given was worthless! 3 days later and Im still sick and the coughing is severe at times. For a doctor not to be able to meet their patients needs is intolerable! I will be finding a new doctor. One who is not afraid to prescribe medicine that works! What is perplexing is that 2.5 years ago I had bronchitis and was prescribed the cough medicine. All I asked is that it be refilled....because it WORKED!

The staff was very pleasant and the office was immaculate.I didnt feel like i was in a doctors office at all.I was in and out considering what I was there for. I normally go to a different urgent care but I needed an xray so I went there. But, Im glad that I did because I will be going to this urgent care from now on.

The APRN Annalise, who assisted in treating the two wounds on my finger was extremely efficient and thorough. Through the entire procedure she made sure everything was sterile and advised me exactly what she was doing step-by-step. I called after making an appointment online just to be sure they would put stitches in. Immediately felt better. Staff was great. We got right in. Perfect timing! And then we met Annalisa, the Doc on site. Wow! She was amazing. Totally took her time with us, answered all of our questions, explained everything and did a beautiful job stitching my husbands leg. Great bedside manner. Would definitely use them again and highly recommend this facility.

Brought my daughter here for the first time seeking care. I have gone to other urgent care facilities in the area but decided to try this one. Customer service & staff were great & very thorough. Conveniently located in the Stop & Shop plaza, the facility was very clean & bright. Surprisingly, there were no other people waiting to be seen when we arrived and we were called in immediately after signing in. Another family arrived as we exited. I highly recommend this facility for your urgent healthcare needs.

The NP prescribed me my cream for my rash. The next day after my visit I go to pick up my prescription and she never sent it to my pharmacy. I also asked for them to call me back and they never did it’s been a week since.It’s a good place but the employees lack on many aspects of quality care. If you’re looking for an urgent care I recommend physicianOne.

I have only been here twice my daughter referred me since my primary care office was closed. My daughter raved about how nice everyone there were to which I was happy to see how clean the office is and how pleasant the employees are.

Although it was literally about 10 mins til close and there were patients still being seen, I was still able to be seen. The Nurse that seen me, checked my medical history and took my health into account before making her diagnosis. Very attentive, respectful, educated. Made me feel seen and comfortable.

Went to Hartford healthcare a few days ago Joe had a UTI this is the one in Hamden I believe is right off of skip Street what a great experience we had there everybody was so friendly we received great service the APRN was phenomenal so if anybody needs a urgent Care definitely I recommend them and I see that theyre coming to North Haven or stop & shop as well

(not sure if spelled right.)I have been to this clinic probably 3-4 for myself and twice for my 19 yo daughter. I Have only had positive experiences at this Hamden Clinic with PA’s and nurse practitioners.I used to rave about the APRNs at minute clinic professionalism, competency and communication with pcp if requested( I still do rave about them, but difficult to get into the same day)Easy to book on line. Little to no wait.

I was freaked out when a positive result was indicated after a rapid Covid test administered at this Urgent Care. The next day I conducted my own at-home test with a test kit provided by the Quinnipiac Valley Health District. I tested NEGATIVE. I took a second test 36 hours later and the result was NEGATIVE. I still was not feeling well on Monday and was seen by my PCP. She ordered a PCR test. Her office called me this morning informing me of a NEGATIVE result. I am hesitant to come back to this Urgent Care if I am not going to get the proper care. Im almost of the mind to ask to have my co-pay refunded.

As a Black woman, I really enjoyed and appreciated being treated by other Black women. I felt heard. I felt seen. They gave me excellent care, and they were thorough. Seeing people who looked like me in your office made me feel safe.

Decent visit. The PA was professional, kind, and knowledgeable. Has some trouble with my prescription but I would return and recommend.

First time I did all the paperwork explain how to put in military health insurance for them to tell me they can give anything more then Tylenol.Second time I got there at 7:58 both people looked up from their phones and went back to their computers and phones doors locked tried both hobbeled back to my car apprently need Healthcare urgently befor exactly 8am assuming they would of unlocked the door is un heard of.Whats the point of urgent care if your going to give me Tylenol?

I agree with someone who said that the clinician is great, but MAs need more training. When I was there, the MA gave me a medical advice regarding a medication (without me even asking for it), and she was not supposed to do that - that is not her job. Any questions about medications should be referred to the clinician.

At the Hartford Healthcare GoHealth Urgent Care in Hamden, staff were professional, friendly, and kind. Medical office environment was clean, tidy, and organized. The PA who treated me tested me for COVID and strep given my symptoms and I was glad that she checked those things out. However (as I found out later in the week when I visited my primary care provider) the PA misdiagnosed me...and told me I just had a cold and a bad cough. She prescribed medication for the cough, which was called Benzonatate (200mg gel pills), which didnt help at all AND I ended up having to pay $37.99 out of pocket for it too!!!When I met with my primary healthcare provider, Allison Altenburger, APRN, midweek she diagnosed me as having bacterial bronchitis, a low-grade fever, and told me I was wheezing. I also had a runny nose and runny eyes.Allison prescribed a cough medicine with codeine for my very bad cough, an Albuterol inhaler for the wheezing, and an antibiotic for the bronchial infection. Im also using cough drops with menthol in the hope of limiting the number of coughing fits and also their duration.Female, 76, Hamden, CT

The facility, -very nice,,pleasant, contemporary, check-in was easy. My PA-Malika Reeves provided excellent care and was very thorough. The medical assistants - in need of more training. One of them allowed themself to be compromised by external influence, in thus doing so booked HIPPA policy and protocol.

I went in on Feb 20th feel very sick went in about 11:30 checked in and was called immediately.. thank you to the front desk staff and to PA MALIKA REEVES for listening to me and giving me the care I needed .by the way I was done in literally 20 minutes top..I know it wont be like that every time but Im glad it was that day😁 thank you to all the staff.. your awesome 👌🏾

Went in yesterday with a sore throat. Receptionist, and first person I met with (Belle) were phenomenal, as was the APRN I met with yesterday (Annalise I believe). She sent me on my way and Said if it gets way worse to come back in. Fast forward to today, and my symptoms are far worse. I went in and Belle was at the desk. She got me in to a room right away! Then the aprn came in (last name was Lovelace) loudly talking with a lab about another patients results on the phone. She insisted on redoing tests that were done yesterday, while essentially insinuating she didnt trust the previous aprn. She stuck her finger in my mouth and touched my extremely inflamed tonsils (something no examiner has ever done in all my sore throat visits) and lectured me about why I shouldnt smoke (yet no rx for patches) when I asked about cessation aids. I told the staff on my way out Id like to speak to the MD in charge, to which Ms Lovelace laughed at me. Belle claims to have passed ny number along. I would like to thank Belle, Annalise, and the kind receptionist for their help, however Ms Lovelace has quickly destroyed my perception of the clinic

Front desk was very rude !!!! Told us it was our third time calling when the provider had them set up a tell a visit appointment for my sick son . Talk about rude if you aren’t happy with your job find a new one! Yes I am aware there are other locations but I specifically called this location to set up his appointment which the provider was very nice unlike the front desk wish I knew her name ! I clicked on the link for his appointment waited for forty minutes no one ever came to the computer than we were disconnected tried to call back to have them send another link he she tells us it’s our third time calling talk about RUDE !!!!

I schedule my appointments online and have been treated quickly upon arrival. The staff in Hamden are wonderful, knowledgeable, and provide me with excellent care and medical advice. Glad that they are there for me!

I went to this urgent care center this morning as close to 8 AM as possible, the day after a holiday. As a person who works in healthcare, I needed to be in and out so I could get to work on time. Ive also been sick for two weeks and in complete agony. There was no way I was waiting another day for relief.I was already in the Hartford Healthcare system, so check in was quick and easy. I was in an exam room within five minutes, and had my vitals taken by someone named Gabby. She was efficient at her job and friendly, and gave me a COVID test just in case.I waited a few minutes after my vitals were done before the provider came into the room. The PA who took care of me was named Malika. She was professional, friendly, and I could tell she just wanted to help me. Sometimes, these urgent care places rush you in and out. I didnt feel rushed, and I made it to work on time which I appreciate.I try not to go to the doctor often, only when Im really sick and cant take it anymore. I was at that point this morning and have numerous urgent cares to choose from in my area. Im grateful this is the one I chose.Edited to add:I was just here again yesterday, 11/16/23. Same type of situation, feeling really cruddy but also needing to function. I was in and out again due to their efficiency. I wasnt rushed by any means, but I was listened to and treated wonderfully by all the staff again. The woman at the front desk with the pink hair (like real life Barbie, so sweet), Suki the medical assistant, and I know I complimented her name Annaliese maybe? the provider who treated me are all wonderful.They all deserve bonuses!

Visit and medical record in incorrect. Diagnosis wrong. notes on the visit inaccurate. I wound up in the ER with RSV. I was not tested for that illness at the urgent care.

When I have to come to urgent care get great care

I was completely impressed by the quick attention, professionalism, competence and friendliness of the staff at this site. It was beyond anything I expected. I feel I have been spoiled!

They don’t even deserve 1 star! Doctor and PA on staff are nasty. Brought my QU student there as they were sick. We were told “She’ll get over it!” Had to call my GP at home for a virtual visit in order to get the medical attention she needed.

Service was excellent. My appointment was on time. Staff were courteous. Environment clean. Thanks again for an excellent, timely service. Keep up the good work/service

The medical assistant who ran tests said there is an infection. Provider later came and said there is no infection. They started an argument and in the end provider decided to prescribe antibiotics. Very unprofessional. I am not sure how they got license to operate as a medical facility. Incident happened on Saturday at Dixwell Ave Hamden location.

HHC Hamden was excellent to me when I was stung by a bee 3 times and had an allergic reaction. They were quick to resolve my symptoms and very kind. They saved me from a reaction that could have gone worse. thank you to their staff

Good place for urgent health services where you dont want to go to an emergency room to spend a whole day lying in a bed and then to tell you that you dont have anything serious, here they go to the point and prescribe medication for your treatment, it is a nice place clean and professional thanks to all the staff I felt that my health was important to them and I only spent 25 minutes between arrival and checkup I recommend it I am Hispanic and the doctor there was very cordial in understanding me in my language and I speak key words in my language and with my little english we made a team 👍🏻
