Dr. Behar is the very best gynecologist I have ever had. Hes been mine for over 20 years and I wouldnt go to anyone else. Even though I moved back to Brooklyn I still come to him as I have trusted no one as I trust himNot only a professional but a lovely soul and highly compassionate. When i went to the first doctor appointment with him. He made everything as comfortable and feel like I’m not worried about anything. He always open to respond my questions when i asked for. Every time i leave, he always make sure if i do understand and not confusing at all. I am thankful to have him as doctor during my pregnancy journey . I would do this all over again with him again. One of the best and kindest Doctors I ever met. No matter how many questions I had he never rushed me or made my questions even if they were because of my anxiety, he reassured me I was doing just fine and so was this pregnancy. Very thorough.

Women of color...WATCH OUT!I am very disturbed and upset with how dismissive I was treated, no one should feel like they are unseen and not heard, especially when it comes to your health!I had my first planned c-section that was performed by Dr. Behar due to my baby being breech. Initially everything seemed like it was going well until I started experiencing extreme pain in my pelvic area about 3 weeks after my surgery.I scheduled my first post-op visit with Dr. Behar. First, he was about 15 min late coming into the office..thats understandable..things happen. I was willing to wait for him because this was also my first visit with him and I really needed to br seen. Dr. Behar came into the office, didnt acknowledge he was late and didnt ask me any questions as far as how I was feeling or how my recovery was going either. He was in such a rush to look at my incisions that he proceeded to do it without even closing the door and giving me privacy! Someone was walking by and i had to asked for them to close the door.Dr.Behar did apologize for that and said that was a oversight.He proceeded to look at my incisions, took the tape off and said everything looked good l told him I was in extreme pain, it even hurts to get out of bed and when my bladder is full, I can barely even walk to the bathroom because of the pain. And that i feel pain even when Im just laying down.After repeating myself a few times about my pain, Dr.Behar then said he would order a urine sample.That was the only thing he ordered! He didnt even examine the area where my pain is or ask any other questions!Then, to my surprise, he ordered a UTI test! I dont have a UTI, nor did I explain any symptoms that would describe me potentially having a UTI!I felt, he did that just to rush me out and make me feel like he was doing something. There is a huge concern for this pain I am feeling and I felt like I was dismissed and not heard! It should of been taken more seriously especially by someone who actually performed my surgery and more than a UTI screening should of been done! This is such a shame I had to experience this lack of care especially after a c-section and that he scheduled my next follow up 4 weeks from now! I will not accept this dismissive care and will be looking for someone one who will listen to me and really treat me right!

Dr Behar is a very caring and attentive doctor. I met him for the first time during my annual visit at FemPro. I am a mature senior going to a practice that treats a diverse range of patients from obstetrics to gynecology. I felt Dr Behar was totally focused on my care and needs and spent adequate time with me during and after my exam. One of the best facilities I have ever seen. The receptionists are very nice. Dr. Behar is the best. I had my 2 C-sections by him in 2021 & in 2023. Dr. Behar and all the other staffs there will make 100% sure that you get your best care. I recommend this facility to everyone because they are very caring toward their patients and this type of facility, care, behavior are not available everywhere.

Dr Behar is the best doctor that I have. I wish he was my doctor for everything lol He is very understanding of all your concerns and will take his time with you, to make sure all of your questions are answered. Mr.behar is rude and way too serious. Hard to get a smile out of the guy. He will definitely make you appointment uncomfortable. The medical assistants have language barriers and lack knowledge. He doesn’t have a well put together staff the office. He continues to have no inexperienced workers who don’t handle stress well. Every week a new pc works there.

Marc behar is a Horrible doctor. If you end up going to a different hospital due to emergency purposes but come to him for postpartum he will put you down & compare his way of work compared to whatever surgery you had and say why don’t you go back to them. At the time I was dealing with postpartum bad after having my son and legit cried and never returned to his office. He is aggressive and cruel.

Dr Behar is the best gynecologist I have ever met. He is very attentive, knowledgeable, professional. He listens and answers all the questions, provides you with all necessary information, doesn’t force you at all! He made me feel absolutely comfortable before, during and after pregnancy. With his approach you have a positive mood all the time, confidence that everything will be great and don’t have any worries at all. He made our dream come true! My delivery and recovery was very smooth. I couldn’t imagine that it can be so easy I am lucky to get to this doctor and strongly recommend him! The staff in his office is also great, friendly, courteous, helpful and cooperative!

Dr. Behar and his team are extremely caring.As a first time mom they helped me feel comfortable throughout my whole pregnancy. They answered all my questions and concerns. As well as keeping me aware of any new updates. The wait can be annoying sometimes but it is worth the visit. I would recommend this doctors office 100%.

Dr. Behar is friendly, answers all of your questions, and is clearly very knowledgeable in his field. He made me feel comfortable during my visit and I would highly recommend him to others.The office also uses an online portal that gives you all of your lab results, billing statements, and visit summaries which is incredibly convenient to use.

What an amazing doctor from start to finish. Words wouldn’t do justice. We ended up a high risk pregnancy towards the end as baby was small and there was suspected cord restriction so I was being monitored. At an appt at 36 weeks the nurse noticed preeclampsia signs and my high blood pressure. Rushed over to few Labour and delivery got monitoring and after being told she would need to come out very soon a couple of nervous hours ensued. When Dr Behar arrived everything instantly calmed. He is so reassuring and it was the calmest emergency section I could have possibly asked for. Three hours after the Drs appt our very healthy baby girl arrived to peaceful music. Can’t thank Dr Behar enough.

Dr. Behar is an excellent physician. He has great bedside manner and is very knowledgeable about OB/GYN. He pays attention to every detail concerning my care.

Other than a little bit of a long wait (I waited an hour past my appt. time, by no fault of anyone, I feel like it was a crazy day and they were short handed)I felt like everyone was nice and respectful. I had a consultation with Dr. Behar ahead of being able to get clearance for infertility treatments since I am considered high risk. He listened to what I had to say and I didn’t feel rushed and I feel like we have a “game plan” now instead of just wondering what is going on. I look forward to working with this office to have a successful and safe pregnancy!

The worst office i ever visited! To say it is risky for your health to stick to it isnt to say anything. Being pregnant under their care you feel absolutely ALONE and in DANGER since they NEVER pick up a phone for consecutive WEEKS. Now when they eventually do it, they promise to resolve your concerns and it NEVER takes place. The doctor himself seems absolutely careless when you are in the room with him. He is either on his phone or barely makes an eye contact. Besides, it is the only MD office which takes 3 weeks to come up with any lab results and even then they dont make a follow up call and you end up calling them yourself! You know why? Simply since it never gets posted on the portal which they make you to sign up for... Not to mention after all this I made a decision to do a transfer of care but it is been officially 1 month since I STILL cannot get my record transferred to another facility simply because they never pick up the phone or call back!! If i wasnt there in person, I would think this office doesnt even exist or its just some scammers fooling around. I believe they pay someone to have such a good rating here. What a shame...

Dr. Behar has been my doctor for a number of years and has always listened. I was in need of surgery and throughout the entire process he was professional and compassionate.

The visit was positive and Dr. Behar seems thorough in answering questions. However, Ive been trying to contact the office to obtain test results for that visit and no receptionist has picked up or returned a call for 2 business days after my visit. Even the priority line for medical emergencies or if someone is in labor, just rings with no voicemail option. That seems like that would be a big problem.

If you are looking for a gynecologist for basic needs...birth control, annual checkups, etc. this is NOT the doctor for you. Trust me. Look elsewhere as he nor his staff take patients (perhaps without any medical issues) seriously, nor do they respect the needs of their patients or have an ounce of sympathy. Inflexibility, lack of follow up, zero communication regarding when refills have ran out, minimal professionalism or common courtesy on the phone. I actually feel I have put my health at risk since I started with this doctor over 2 years ago.

What an absolutely amazing doctor. During a high risk birth and preeclampsia causing a emergency section four weeks before her due date he was unbelievably calming, reassuring and professional and made Violets birth a wonderful memory. I can not recommend him highly enough.

PLEASE READ.⚠️ TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️Seven years ago when I 23 years old , I agreed to a procedure that would affect me in the deepest, most devastating way possible. I was told by OBGYN Dr. Marc Behar that I had a cyst on my right ovary , that It was imperative to remove it. At my age surgery was a scary word but cyst was too. Even though I had no pain, I was scared , I trusted this specialist’s opinion . My mother advised me against it, she knew there were other methods to minimize a cyst, sadly and against her recommendation I opted to get the surgery. The fear of the cyst jeopardizing my fertility ultimately drove me to make that decision(the irony). It turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. When I woke up from surgery I was in excruciating pain. It was as if the pain was telling me something had gone wrong and life would never be the same, and it hasn’t.No one explained to me that with this surgery came the risk of losing part of my ovary or my ovary altogether. No one told me that this surgery would affect my fertility by diminishing my ovarian reserve , making it difficult to conceive a child. A mother is something that I have always dreamed to become. I have always known that being a mother is one of the things that I would be honored to become and which requirements I fulfill without no hesitation. Now, at the ripe age of 29, I find myself struggling with infertility.I am sharing this story publicly because I want to WARN young women about obgyn doctors eager to perform unnecessary procedures on females without explaining the risks and possible negative effects that come with it . I ask them to not allow drs to take advantage of their trust for science . Lastly, always, ALWAYS get a second opinion! Dr. Behar never offered me other options. He just rushed me to surgery . Surgery should never be a first option but instead a last resort. At this point I firmly believe that there was NEVER a life -threatening condition, but only monetary gain.Dr. Marc Behar, your reckless advice is nowadays costing me and my husband our happiness and dreams of holding our baby in our arms . I deeply regret the day that I walked into your office and I hope there will be consequences for your malpractices someday.

I have been going to FEMMPRO for almost 9 years and Dr. Behar and his staff are very professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good OBGYN.

Sadly after over 15 years of Dr. Behar being my GYN I have to discontinue our doctor-patient relationship. I came to his office today for what wouldve been a follow-up sonogram visit and I was refused the visit due to an unknown past due balance. I saw Dr. Behar 3 weeks prior and this was not stated and I was seen with no problem. I took a 2 hour bus commute and day off of work and this is what happens. Had they informed me when they called to confirm my appt I couldve made the proper financial arrangements or rescheduled until I was able to do so. Instead I was not seen and those orders came from DR. BEHAR. Im highly disappointed. Also I was told they WILL NOT release my last Pap or lab results until my balance is paid. I signed the hippa release form anyway.
