AFC Urgent Care East Meadow

Everyone working there is very pleasant and nice. Not too long to wait which is what I like. They take your test and come back with some of the results while you still there. The place is very very clean which I love. And the free goodies are great. Thank you for your care and caring for us your sick patients. Thanksss a million. Gold ⭐️ Star!!!

It was New Year’s Day ! I Woke up this again morning with a sore throat and tight chest it I made an appointment on line in 5 minutes for 1/2 hour later My wait in the waiting room was less than five minutes. All of the staff is friendly and professional and knowledgeable. I was out of there in an hour and headed to the drugstore to pick up my prescription I would highly recommend this urgent care.Erin the PA is fantastic friendly and knowledgeable.. love her!

Had to do a physical and I saw the PA, Gianna F., she was very nice and efficient! Clean office, front desk and medical assistants were nice. Would definitely go back again for any urgent care visits.

I was feeling the symptoms of a urinary tract infection and decided to go to AFC Urgent Care in East Meadow to get checked out. Scheduling and checking in was easy and fast. I did not wait long to be seen. . The staff in the East Meadow office is friendly and helpful from the reception desk to the medical assistant to the doctor. I feel I got excellent care. The doctor took the time to discuss the results of my urine test and sent the medicine prescription over right away. I will come back again and also recommend this facility to family and friends.

I was visiting from out of town and my girlfriend, an East Meadow native, suggested AFC.I couldn’t be more pleased with the care, attention and service I received. And when an issue arose at the pharmacy, your staff went above and beyond to help, especially when the pharmacy did little to communicate with me.I hope that the AFC folks in my area are half as good as your people here at the East Meadow office. Truly over-impressed. I thought this quality of service no longer existed. Thanks!

The visit was fine and the staff were very good. I had covid/flu like symptoms and they ran a battery of tests. My insurance doesnt pay for the rapid results, so I was told I would get the results in 24 hours. They stated that they would call me with the results. Around the 30 hour mark, I called and no results. I called in the evening and still no results. They said to call again in the morning, as my job and I want to know if I have covid. Its just very frustrating. I assume theyre dealing with a 3rd party? Either way, its important to get these type of results back as soon as possible. Otherwise, the facility had no issues.

I was very pleased with my visit. They are very organized and get you in to see the doctor after a short wait time. All the staff were very pleasant.. Be aware that they don’t have X-ray facilities. On site.

Very nice experience，its my first time to come here. They were kind and patient in answering all my questions. Here was clean and well-equipped, and the procedures were convenient and efficient.

Great staff. Only took 5 minutes waiting period. Filling out the form online is a great experience. Doctor was very helpful if you have an urgency I recommend AFC urgent care!!!! Clinical staff was great also 👍👍

Everyone is friendly in the office, the waiting is very short. My daughter who doesnt like doctors was taken care and everyone was very patience with her. I am thankful.

The location received one star as zero stars was not an option. I arrived at the center with my girlfriend. After a short 15-minute wait in the lobby, we were escorted into a treatment room where we waited another 30 minutes. My girlfriend was tested for a UTI, having arrived at the center with extreme vertigo and nausea. The test came out negative, and we were in short order visited by a physician’s assistant named Minoo, who proceeded to prescribe drugs for a “virus.“ When we questioned what type of virus, we were told by the PA she didn’t know as a center was not equipped for those tests and perhaps we should’ve gone to the ER instead. We were further told no doctors were present on that day when we asked to speak to one. If we knew that in advance, we would not have showed up. I questioned how the PA could possibly prescribe drugs for a virus she wasn’t sure my girlfriend had. We were told “In my country I’m an OB/GYN.” It was a total non-answer. The service we received was condescending and patronizing, and the company should be ashamed of itself. We will never again visit this center, and frankly the PA should be fired for callous disregard of a patient’s needs.

Went to AFC Urgent Care in East Meadow and was greeted by the receptionist. The wait time was less than 5 mins after filling out the paperwork. The nurse and doctor were excellent and thorough, answering my questions and explaining each step of the way. The wait time between the intake and doctors visit was about a minute. The test was done right on the spot and was able to get the results within minutes. It was also great that they provided water and a little snack while you wait. I would definitely visit this urgent care if facing illness again.

This is the most helpful and kind people. I got here to get a medicial exam and Everyone was so friendly also kept me updated about the process!Mine got done by 4days included weekend super fast! Also want to say Ariany was the best! A super knowledgeable medical assistant and very helpful, went out of her way to make things smooth and easy!

The experience was welcoming and the advice given by the doctor was well received. Some doctors are cold and sterile and the staff is the same. Harsh and standoffish. This staff was helpful, concerned about your illness or injury and spoke to like an equal not like your an idiot. I enjoyed my experience. Dr. Amy and nurse Darleen were exceptionally nice. Good job EastMeadows good job!

My expierence at AFC urgent care was great! My medical assistant Jessica provided me with compassionate care and actively listened to all my concerns. She addressed all those concerns and ensured I had a positive easy expierence at this urgent care. I will definitely be coming back to this location!

Just the general incompetence of the medical industry. Starting with billing incorrectly, not knowing what is in or out of network. Nurse couldnt get temperature correctly after 4 tries. One try was with an ear thermator. I dont think doctors work there anymore just pas. Love hearing we dont know and theres nothing we can do.

I had a PhD student who was very thorough in asking the initial questions. Then the doctor walked in to finalize my exam. They were both very professional.

Service was excellent. Wait time was five minutes. As soon as I got inside. I was tended too. Mike the PA was great. Checked my vitals, asked the relevant questions and had me on my way. I highly recommend using this facility and the service.

This is my second time at AFC in East Meadow.. My daughter wasnt feeling well for several weeks and her primary Dr ( Dr Jones at Optum) dismissed her and told her she was wasting his time! So on Friday Dec. 27th after 2 more weeks of still experiencing symptoms of dizziness , shaking and racing heart, my daughter was seen by Dr Julie. First off, we were seen by a very caring and attentive nurse, sorry her name slips my mind, she was very sweet and took her time asking alot of questions and taking all the necessary vitals.She then performed an EKG and checked with Dr to make sure all scans were good before removing the sticky tabs from chest n legs. Then we waited for Dr to do examination.. While we were waiting for quite some time, Nurse Jacqueline came in to apologize for the wait and assured us that it would only be another 5 minutes.. Dr. Julie was very thorough, asked many questions, discussed results of EKG and suggested some blood work to help figure out the cause of my daughters symptoms since EKG was normal... The first Nurse came in to draw blood but was having difficulty finding a vein, So she gets Nurse Kaitlyn to draw the blood. She was great! Very quick and got her cereal bars too because she was feeling weak and dizzy.. Dr Julie and nurse Jacqueline came in to check on us and let us stay in the room as long as we needed! We never felt rushed, and my daughters symptoms werent dismissed or made to feel she wasnt believed.. The care we received was top notch, better than a primary office! Each staff went above and beyond!! Im very grateful for their support , compassion and concern.. I even received a call the next day to see how my daughter is feeling..I neverrrr received a call from any primary!! Im so happy to have found an urgent care that is dedicated to giving quality care to their patients!! Thanks to all the wonderful, amazing nurses and to the excellent Dr. Julie!!!The rude Dr Jones at Optum in Bethpage should take notes from this exceptional office!!day was my first time visiting this office in East Meadow.. I was pleasantly surprised at the efficiency, professionalism, and most importantly the care I received. The Dr and nurse took their time to listen to me and were very kind. The office is real clean and cozy. I will definitely be going back for myself and family! Thank you AFC East Meadow!

Taken quickly. Excellent service. Nose was swabbed gently by nurse. PA skills excellent, communication as well. Prescribed me a nasal spray and mucinex which helped immediately

The people were absolutely lovely there however I do not suggest using this place as the lab that they use is awful and will give you incorrect results. I’ve Had a fever bouncing back from 101 to 103 for the past three days, have had severe body aches and chills, an inflamed chest and a stuffy nose, and my stomach has been on fire. I went to this place Where they Took tests and everybody was extremely nice, however, I Had waited over 48 hours and heard nothing so I ended up going to my primary Doctor Who wrote them and diagnosed me with flu type b as well as strep throat. 12 hours later we got a call from this place informing me that all of my test results results came back negative and that I was completely fine… I informed them that that was not the case and that my doctor had actually told me that I have the flu as well as strep throat and I told them that I would never come back to this place again… I have nothing against the people at this place however, the lab that they use will give you incorrect results so I don’t suggest going there…

I went to this facility for the first time today because I felt sick after going on a cruise. The front desk and staff were very nice. I rate 3 stars because, they only gave me a Covid test. No one examined me for anything else. I still feel bad. They could have did a strep test or listened to my lungs but they did none of that. The doctor didn’t even ask what my symptoms are. As a result, I have to go to another doctor for a more thorough examination.

This was not a good experience at this location. The rep wasn’t thorough in the intake. I waited for a long time in the room without being seen. I finally came out of the room to ask why am I still here without being seen. I was informed that the Dr left. However no one never came to tell me. Thereafter a PA comes in with someone and proceeds to give me the fluenza shot. After the shot she asked me if I had any cold symptoms. Why didn’t she ask me prior. I am totally disappointed in the entire staff at AFC East Meadow.

Julie and Dr Ahmad are the best. From triage to meeting with the doctor it was like being with my family doctor. Dr Ahmad will be my place to go when I cannot get to my doctors. The team there is amazing. Loved the great treatment and why not julie the nurse who attended to me is a neighbor

Doctors does not show really confident on their findings, very nice, very educated , but inexperienced doctors, more than 36 hours after, I didn’t received covid results and tests on swabs 😳

IT WAS A MOST POSITIVE EXPERIENCE... THE WAIT TO BE SEEN WAS NOT TOO LONG ... EVERYBODY ON THE STAFF WAS PERSONABLE & POLITE !!! PLUS THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL... I had a great experience with this urgent care. The staff was very nice and the doctor was extremely personable and listened to you without making you feel rushed. Although it was towards the end of day, I got in and out swiftly.

Theyre great here quick service in and out. The qr code to come in and fill out is kind of annoying. We come in sick just want someone to check us in not to fill out info on our own.butbeveryone is nice and service is quick.

The visit itself was fine, but any urgent care that CONTINUES to use a lab that takes an entire WEEK to report a strep test is USELESS!!! When the receptionist called me to report my results seven days after the culture was taken, and I told her it was ridiculous that it took that long, her answer was that I was not the first person to complain about that. If you get repeated complaints why would you continue to use a lab like that?? What healthcare practitioner doesn’t know that seven days is too long to wait for a strep culture?? This nurse will not be returning to this urgent care.

They took care of my entire family with such easy and confidence. I was so happy to get this kind of exceptional service. THANK YOU 😊

Came in with a scratchy throat, hacking cough, and what felt like a swollen throat/tongue. Front desk and the nurse who took my vitals were great. However, the doctor was not helpful at all. He didn’t even examine me until I asked him to check if my throat is swollen and he just went “yea. looks like mucus.” Two of my rapid tests came back negative and they were sending another two out. After telling the doctor I have chest pain and a hard time taking deep breaths, his only advice was to take advil cold and flu. He did not listen to my chest or even attempt to give me an examination and completely blew me off when I mentioned my concerns. “Just take advil cold and flu” two days later I am beyond sick. Currently going to a different urgent care for hopefully better treatment. Not sure I will be returning to AFC after this experience and I’ve been going there for years.

Perfect, I made an appointment on line. I was taken exactly on time. Staff was excellent.

The website has been down all day. Can’t find any information horrible. The doctor and personnel were very good except they sent my medication to a pharmacy and didn’t even ask me where I wanted it sent to.

The support staff were all very kind and helpful and the facility was nice and very clean, however the doctor I saw was very dismissive and rude. I do not go to the doctor unless I feel seriously injured and like I really need to (rare). I injured my hand and overheard my doctor saying to a nurse just give her an xray its what these young kids want. I felt very uncomfortable here and not taken seriously at all. Next time Ill be smarter and schedule an appointment with an orthopedist instead of wasting my time.

Brief wait time. Once I started the visit everything was finished in about 20 min, including having x-rays done. Would highly recommend. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I really hate having to do this but this place should not be offering urgent care for children. They DO NOT HAVE the capacity to diagnose or treat children. The only reason I give it 2 stars is because the nurse was absolutely awesome with my 4 year old daughter. The doctor failed to diagnose her acute pneumonia and was not helpful at all. I did most of the talking and she was quiet and just prescribed robitussin. After seeing my daughter with shortness of breath, fever and fatigue I wasn’t satisfied with the visit and diagnosis and had to taker her to PM pediatrics where they immediately suspected lobar acute pneumonia and gave her the correct treatment.and tests. Save your time going here I could have made a fatal mistake if I didn’t take my daughter elsewhere which is why I’m writing this review.

It wasnt crowded thank God. So, I do not know how they function with a crowd but, from the receptionist to the assistance to the doctor....were all patience, and took the time to actually listen and hear me about my pain. The doctor explained what it was that caused the problem, broke it down and left the room when I was done asking questions. He wasnt one of those doctors who comes in with one hand on the door and one foot in the room rushing to leave just as quick as he entered. I appreciate that and would recommend anyone there. God bless them all. BTW, my prescription was sent right away without me having to wait hours for it to reach the pharmacist.

This AFC clinic in East Meadow always clean upon the walk-in. The reception desk courteous and professional. The medical assistant Darleen and PA Juliana who provided care to my 11 year old were great, quick and professional. Thank you!

I was feeling pretty terrible when I walked in. I was treated with kindness and care. I felt that I was being listened to and felt better than when I went in, knowing that I was being taken care of properly. Not my first time at this location. I’ve consistently received good care here.

AMY, One of the PAs working there, Should have her licence taken away. She Should have done a COVID Test but did Not even consider it which would have caught it early enough for things to be alright. In retrospect, I dont know why the strange symptoms were overlooked by Her. Guess she didnt know any better. Id recommend going elsewhere if you want to receive Proper Care.

AFC does not honor online booking. I got there at the time I was instructed and waited for over an hour with a sick 5 year old. I was told youre next but others were taken instead. We will NOT be returning.

Not many people go to them and they are excellent, very professional in their work, you dont have to wait more than 5 minutes, they call you quickly, much better than some hospitals in the emergency room and you get out faster!

The Colombian receptionist was super sweet and kind. I felt so welcomed and not afraid nor nervous. I appreciate how I was treated. It was 100% lovely and I just definitely needed to leave this review because it was truly the best experience for a medical appointment.

Facility was unusually hot which is abnormal for most medical facilities. You need to register via on line and there is very poor cell/internet service. Staff was pleasant but technician seemed rushed when taking vitals.

The entire staff was amazing. Everyone including the receptionist the doctor the doctors associate and everyone there who helped with me what kind thoughtful considerate and extremely caring. Went into this Urgent care for a COVID test as well as a strep test and was given an allergy test I did not ask for and I was told that insurance would cover it and I did not have to worry about and extra charges. Now I’m being charged $226.32. Billing disconnected my call when asked to speak to a supervisor. Terrible customer service.

My son was examined here after a face injury. Everyone treated us with kindness. The doctor explained regarding the healing process and was very professional. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The dr. was wonderful and caring. The front desk was very friendly and kind. The place is clean and comfortable.My only complaint is that I was told that there would be no extra charges for an allergy test done on my daughter while we waited for the dr and they are now charging me. Im extremely angry they lied and I would never have done the test. The test wasnt even done correctly. They didnt wait long enough for the results, told me her only environmental allergy was mold. Laughable as she has spent the last 2 weeks suffering miserably with spring allergies, none of which were mentioned after this incorrectly done test that theyre charging me for.

My mom had an injury in the back of her throat, it happened fast, and she was really scared and nervous because blood was coming out of it. I didn’t think it needed a trip to the hospital, but found this urgent care that was open on memorial day after six, and it was a lifesaver! The doctor made my mom feel safe and reassured.Great job all!

Went in this morning for a bug bite that got infected. I was seen very quickly and the whole staff was very friendly and helpful!

My son ordered from the wrong place & I then asked for a refund ( & a tip was added mind you all) I tried to explain that I had no vehicle, that he thought it was the one up the block from us & they refused to. So sadly I give them no stars

The staff are the best ever. From Doreen who took all my vitals and set up my initial tests to my favorite PA Erek who I’m lucky to always see, has the best bedside manner. Everyone, even if I don’t remember their names are professional but courteous and nice and want to help you feel better. I walk out of there knowing what I have and peace of mind knowing I’m on my way to healing! Great staff! I recommend this Urgent Care to everyone.

Review by Rosemary Hernandez-Went there for my annual physical. My Primary Care Physician was booked for a few months ahead so I figured I’d visit this place for this purpose. The place is super clean, the staff very professional and friendly. Dr. Schwartz was very attentive and thorough. I never felt rushed. This is my third visit to this location. All for different reasons. Each time I went, I left feeling better for doing so. The co-pay is slightly higher than my PCF but worth every cent. Especially when it comes to waiting times!! There was none! It was truly a pleasant experience! Thank you Dr. Schwartz and team!

I have been there several times. Staff are very helpful and kind. Not much wait time. They solve problems immediately.

These folks are pretty amazing, no long waits-in and out, friendly service.

My husband and I have been to this Urgent Care a few times when weve been ill on the weekends or our doctor is booked for days. They are always very friendly and helpful. The Doctors/PAs explain everything very well. It is kept clean and they have bottled water if you are feeling dehydrated.The only complaint I have is one time there was a problem with a prescription they called in. The pharmacy said they never received it. When we called and left a detailed voicemail, we never got a call back and over 24 hours later, the pharmacy still said they had not received the prescription. We had to call back again. Once we did, the prescription went through fine.

The staff at AFC are wonderful. Darlene was especially helpful as was the doctor. I wont go anywhere else.

Excellent patient care, from check in to check out. Promptly follow up call the next day tor lab results.Never have I felt so good about my experience at a medical facility until I went to AFC. The people are great and the service in unparalleled in the area. I would challenge everyone to try them once and experience the difference!

This is the best urgent care! I called with a few concerns and the lovely Alyssa answered all of my questions, was very nice made my visit more delightful. Diana was very patient with me and the doctor Amy she understood my discomfort and made sure I got the help I needed. I honestly suggest anyone that needs urgent care come to this amazing place. My experience at this urgent care was excellent. I set up the appointment online. When I got to the office, the receptionist was wonderful. Waited maybe three minutes. Then I was called in. The PA Erik Lucio was wonderful. He listened to my all my symptoms and was very attentive!!I will definitely go back!

This place is amazing!!! Went today with my 2 year old son and they were so beyond great with him.. had him laughing through a nose swab, and even a throat culture went fine because these girls were so sweet and caring. Honestly it was fun for him, can’t believe it - he’s usually a mess at the pediatrician. Thank you so much!!!

This urgent care is one of the best I have been to. I have gone multiple times along with my 3 kids. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the wait times are not too long.

I’ve been coming here for a few years but yet to write a review. Today I came in and needed to have a throat culture done. I’m a very bad patient when it comes to throat cultures. I had the medical assistant Ariany with me today who I explained this to… she was so understanding and the absolute BEST. She had to swipe the culture 3 separate times and all 3 times I was completely fine. Amazing bedside manner. 10000/10. I also had Erek who I’ve had in the past as the PA, he’s awesome as well. Always makes you feel comfortable and you can tell he cares about each individual patient. Very thorough with care and explaining why each medication is prescribed. I believe because I am black, I was poorly treated by the physician Assistant who took care of me on Tuesday January 14, 2015.

I recently had a fantastic experience at this urgent care. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, and the facility was clean and well-maintained. The medical professionals were knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to address all my concerns. I appreciated the prompt service without compromising the quality of care.

Definitely not a place to get immigration physical exams. Becuase of their neglect on filling out the immigration form. my son case was denied I went twice to this facility and they couldnt fix their mistakes. We have been waiting 10 years for this opportunity and because of this place we had chosen to assist us now we have to restart the process again, just to mention a lot of money invested plus the time on my son case.Very disappointed.

The nurse is Awesome and the doctor too but I have to Stay over then 45 minutes waiting and my son told them I have chest pain and I can’t breathe and I can’t even stand . butstill waiting !no one car !! when I went insideThey told me how come you stayed that Long. But they treat me very very well I I don’t know how can I appreciate them Doctor and the nurse .

I was seeing within five minutes very happy with the results very happy with the whole time. I was there place to go for medical treatment.

This is the ONLY urgent care that I’ve ever been to where my kids and I have been able to be seen within 20 minutes as walk-in patients. As someone with young children still, I’ve even been able to wait in the car and they will give me a courtesy call when it was our turn. Lastly, every staff member has been incredibly pleasant, understanding, kind, and on-the-nose with their diagnoses. We love this place!

Staff is very nice quick to get u in The medical assistant, who took my vitals, was great talk to me and understood how I was feeling the PAs are great. I experienced 2 times first time a man and this time a woman and both PAs Listened closely to how I was feeling right away and took some tests they were right Both times with my diagnosis and with there treatment I recovered they’re just overall caring and on top of things, forgive me that I don’t remember names, but the last PA experience made sure she went over my history with medication’s Went out of her way To be sure the medication’s that I was allergic to did not have any comparison to what she was Giving me because she knew that I was allergic to a lot of things. A very comfortable place to go.

Of all the urgent cares I have been to, my experience with AFC was by far the best. The intake was fast and easy and I was brought back right away. I saw one of the PAs, Amy, and she was excellent. She took the time to really listen to my concerns and was very knowledgeable in all areas. She explained everything to me in terms I could actually understand and was very reassuring. She was gentle to the point that even getting my blood drawn was easy and that’s not something usually I would say. I hate needles but she talked to me the whole time so I barely felt anything and was fine the whole time. I will definitely be back for any future needs and request her every time! I would highly recommend AFC and Amy to anyone looking for great care. Thank you Amy!

Wasnt feeling well and I decided to go to this location urgent care after work.They are simply wonderful there. The staff from the front desk to the back rooms, the PAand the doctor. Doctor Ahmed was very patient and concerned about my health.He didnt push me in and out quickly.He listened and we discussed a plan for my health. I really liked that!Since then he has prescribed the right meds and Im feeling 100% better.I recommend going to this urgent care location. It is excellent! Thank you!

I have been searching for an urgent care with good reviews and came across AFC in East Meadow. I am very satisfied! They have a clean waiting area, kind staff and PA. And I was in and out very quickly. Highly recommend!

This is not a staged comment this urgent care right here gave me 150% service they really welcomed you with open arms and theyre very fast and punctual by the time I gave my insurance card they called me as soon as I sat down I love this these guys manners are a hundred and 90% great people you need to go visit them and Im going to start using them as my primary doctor I love this place.

An Amazing StaffI do not typically leave reviews, but I felt compelled because this AFC Urgent Care team is amazing. Me and my husband went in just yesterday. Everyone was so patient and helpful, despite our constant questions. And the doctor was amazing. She evaluated my sickness so carefully, thoughtfully, and with such kindness. The waiting wasn’t too bad considering how many people are sick. I have nothing but praise for the PA that did the input on me. She was very thorough in her work. She swabbed my nose 3 times for various tests and also did an allergy screening. Turns out I have the flu.The doctor on the other I did not like at all. He handed me the results says I have the flu and that’s it. He prescribed some medicine. Nobody examined me, listened to my lungs etc to check if they were ok. I could have figured out by myself that I had the flu, I just assumed that somebody would have checked my breathing I stated several times that my chest hurts, have had a splitting headache since Monday, been coughing nonstop, my throat hurts etc. Nobody addressed those issues.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Brought my 8 yr old in for a sore throat and fever. They said rapid strep was negative but sent it for cultures. They also did a viral panel which they said would take 1-2 days for results. After 2 days I never heard from them. I called multiple times, but they do not answer phones. I also left messages but never received a return call. After 3 days I finally went in and they still didn’t have results but said they would call me in the evening with strep results. They never called. On day 4 I took my son to a real Doctor and they immediately confirmed strep throat. My son went 4 days with untreated strep throat and I think the fact that the office is unreachable by phone is inexcusable. Awful care for a sick child.

Very disappointed in my treatment at this newly opened facility. The waiting room had 3 people only and I still waited 1 hour to be seen. I hear staff laughing and giggling walking around but not taking any patients in. I am taken into a room and am told to sit on an examining table with an obviously used and wrinkled white paper that was not pulled off from the patient before. I tell the doctor I am having trouble breathing and he only looks in my nose and ears, doesnt even listen to my lungs. They tell me that they called my prescription in, but I called the pharmacy 3 hours later and there still was no prescription. I usually go to CityMD, but this was closer so I thought I would try it. Can not compare the two, CityMD is light years above this place.

My experience at AFC Urgent Care was Great!! The staff is friendly and efficient. Even the phlobotemis was great and I dont like needles she made sure I wasnt bruised or in pain at the end!! The Doctor was friendly and took the time to make sure I understood all the acronyms on my paperwork meant, he was clear and concise also I needed immediate results and he made sure I had them before walking into surgery!!! They are 10 star and above!! I was impressed from the moment I entered until the time I walked out and next day results even after that!!

Everyone was polite and professional. I went in the evening without an appointment and was seen in a very timely manner. The office was super cleAn. They addressed my issue and promptly came up with a diagnosis and treatment plan. The nurse was fabulous. I was then seen by the doctor, she was extremely informative, devised a care plan and provided followup information. It was a wonderfully pleasant experience all around. I was not rushed at all, my concerns were all addressed and I felt very confident with my car. Highly recommend!

My experience with this urgent care was great! They take straight Medicaid & that’s hard to find- I went in for a UTI & was literally out in 10 mins max & my meds were sent right over to cvs across the street, by the time I went across the street they were already filling my meds!

It was an excellent experience. My case was received quick, got to see the doctor in few moments and out with my diagnosis and message sent to the pharmacy for my prescription pickup. Job well done!

By far the best urgent care we have been to. We live out of state and had a soccer injury. They took care of my son and made him extremely comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

There is no transparency!!! I walked into this Urgent Care for obvious sick reasons. But I could have very well walked right out and went else where with my Insurance. If the person checking me would have the courtesy to tell that my Insurance will be OUT OF NETWORK, if I stayed. Unaware that my insurance was out of network I stay. I few weeks later I now have a massive bill from UFC, and another massive bill from the laboratory because they also decided to send my lab work to an OUT OF NETWORK LABORATORY. There are many Urgent Care in my area and I could have very well brought my business elsewhere.

Walked into the clinic shortly after 9...saw two people in the lobby. Waited over 1.5 hours (48 minutes of that time in the small back office) for a 6 minutes visit that will likely cost me hundreds of dollars. When I stepped out to see about the wait, I was told that they were backed up..however I noticed that individuals that came in after me, were seen before me and there werent many people in the back where I was. I completely understand if people are seen by order of severity, but communicate with me and tell me what is going. Why take me in the back to sit and have me wait for over 45 minutes? Let me decide if I want to wait. I understand priority, believe me, but there was ZERO communication with me. As I about to walk out, now someone was able to see me? Not fair. As bad as I was feeling, I should have gone with my gut and stayed home. There was no resolution in my case, just told to have an xray on Monday and they will call me after they see results. I will pass and just go see my doctor since I need to wait any way. Understanding the times we are in, I really dont like to complain and I am grateful for my overall health. I was just really annoyed by what took place. I wont be going back.

Staff is very professional.If you are going there for the first time, its best to fill out your information before going to the clinic. If you dont, you will have to fill out paperwork before you can be seen therefore delaying your appointment.We went for a covid retest. We had asked for an instant and PCR test. The medical assistant, who did the testing, advised us that the PCR would would be positive because it was too soon after we had colvin and that we only needed the instant testing. She asked she asked my symptoms and when I suggested I may have post nasal drip from allergies she advised me that I could get allergy testing while I was there that would only take 10 minutes. She went above and beyond in order to give us this information. I did get the testing done.

AFC Urgent Care in East Meadow is one of the best. The offices are clean. The PA’s are knowledgeable and the Doctors and the assistants are polite and caring. We had three wonderful people take care of us today.

Have been to this urgent care twice now. The wait time is reasonable. First time was a walk-in a few months ago and I was taken back within 15 minutes. Second visit was scheduled through the website. Due to severe pain with a chronic condition (Eustachian tube disorder) and reoccurrence of sinusitis, I arrived approximately 2 hours prior to appointment time. The waiting room was empty and taken back within 10 minutes. Both visits, the office has been clean, front desk staff pleasant and kind. Pre-registration a plus. PAs absolutely wonderful and professional/knowledgeable. They genuinely listen, care and willing to address the problem/issue. This is definitely my go to urgent care after regular doctor hours and/or want to avoid a trip to the emergency room. Highly recommend!

Would not recommend. Shady billing practices resulting in massive overcharges, including for stuff not performed. Go elsewhere for honest medical care. I’m dealing with bills from labs and insurance for things I didn’t even know they performed and submitted.

I’ve been to this AFC before and never had any problems there. When I went there the other day besides the girl at the front desk everyone else were pretty cold. I had a student come in the room first and ask me what was wrong. At the end of our conversation I felt awkward and uncomfortable. All I wanted to do was leave because of the way I felt. This was by far my worse experience at this AFC and I will never go to this one again after this experience.

It was Christmas day and thankfully they were open. Im from out of town and wasnt feeling well. There wasnt a long wait, the nurse that took me in was friendly, understanding, and caring. Would use again when in the area if needed.

He made sure all my questions were answered and didnt try to rush me out. And when I was feeling dizzy, he got me water, told me to take all the time I need. And then escorting me to the door to make sure even more that I was okay. I definitely recommend urgent care in East Meadow. Appointment or walk-ins welcomed.

What an amazing experience. My first visit there and wow was I impressed.The reception area was immaculate and larger than many I have been in.I was greeted right away with smiles and assistance.Filled out my paperwork and was brought in five minutes later.They all were very sympathetic to the pain I was in from a dislocated shoulder.Exrays were taken and the wonderful Dr. Ahmed showed and explained every detail to me. This place service is pretty quick, and its been mostly positive. But good luck getting anyone on the phone. Even been put on hold for a long period of time to be hung up on. Ive had to go in to get answers that could have been answered by phone.

I went to the urgent care on oct 6. Ariany she was a wonderful person. Every time i would go to other doctors they have a difficult time finding my vein but going to Ariany she made everything easy and smooth. I give her a million stars. Thank you very much❤️

This location was fantastic. Very friendly staff and extremely accommodating. It was clean and everyone followed protocol. I had two appointments at 2 different times for myself and child 90 minutes apart. They were able to take both of us at the same time which made my life so much easier. Would recommend to anyone.

Fast attentive care given to my respiratory complaints and body aches. At least 3 tests performed before learning I tested positive for Influenza A. I left with promise of Rx of Tamaflu. Thank you. You saved my life!!!

I came in for a confirmatory rapid Covid test since I already tested positive at home. I was asked what test I prefer, I said rapid. After I was tested, the PA informed me that my test was negative and that they will have to do a respiratory panel PCR on me. What I didnt know, was that this was a $1500+ test vs a $40 rapid. I tested positive, of course, because I know I am positive for Covid but now I am billed $155 out of pocket for the ridiculous charge. They didnt show me the negative test, they just told me it was negative. Not good.There was no wait time, but there was no physician who came to see me, just the PA.

Very quick response and there were not many people when I went so I was in and out within an hour. Previously I had experience visiting hospital urgent care and was there 3-4 hours.

I was treated with respect and dignity. My concerns were taken into consideration, and I was appropriately treated. The medical assistant, and the PA who treated me were patient and professional. I will definitely return to Your Facility, should the need arise. Thank You. 😊

The tech and front desk was kind. When it came to the pharmacy, they did not send my medication to the correct pharmacy of my choosing. So if you absolutely need to come to this urgent care, I would recommend you triple-check the pharmacy they send it to as theyre most likely not reading the application youre filling out. Additionally, I wouldnt be surprised that they didnt also give the pharmacy my phone number as I never received a phone call regarding my medication being ready.After calling the urgent care and asking for the exact address of where my prescription was, I was given the wrong address. After driving around to multiple pharmacies, I was able to track down my medicationSo if you want to have an experience where youre driving, while sick, to multiple pharmacies in the area. This urgent care is right for you.

Recently visited Afc East meadow after my dr had no availability. A shout out to Dr Erek Lucio…he’s so thorough and patient! Staff is friendly and facility is very clean. My go to when can’t see my primary. Highly recommend AFC in East Meadow. Not sure why I even bother coming here. The doctors never have any answers. They also call with the wrong results and then a week later call back to apologize. Happened more than once.

I have been to other urgent care facilities and not that they were bad, but the treatment I received at your facility was above all others. The staff greeted you so professionally and everyone was very courteous and caring. Erick x 2 were both very caring and spent time explaining the injury I had and what I needed to do to keep the infection from spreading . Also Erick was able to give me a list of primary care doctored in the area since I did not have one. After my visit yesterday, your facility will now be my new go to urgent care.

Was sick recently and visited AFC in East Meadow. I was very impressed with the Dr and staff. The wait wasn’t bad at all either. The medical assistant Kaitlyn N made me feel so comfortable because I had to have a nose swab and was anxious about the whole thing. She was Fantastic at her job and put me at ease. Try this place it’s convenient and very professional!I will definitely be going back , hope not too soon lol

The fastest and best experience for PCR testing. Got my results in 24 hours and am so thankful for the last minute ability to handle the amount of clients they had. I made an appointment easily and it was such a hassle free and easy system once inside. I needed a test for a game and am so happy to receive the tests back in such a timely manner. Everyone was helpful and nice too. Great experience and will definitely be back next time!

Honestly one of the best urgent care’s I have ever been to, all of the staff were extremely nice, super relatable, and they were very attentive every step of the way when treating me. I was out of there in less than an hr, I will continue to come back here.

Very professional, quick and pleasant. Just wish they would have informed me not to take allergy meds for 48hrs prior to testing. I did call to say i was coming in for that so all my test came back negative which I know isn’t the case. I took allergy pill night before not knowing.

Vaccinated or not they treat everybody equal and do their jobs. They are my number one choice for urgent care. They are extremely thorough and do the best they can to get you in and out.
