Very clean facility.! Staff were so welcoming and nice.! They did everything to assure that you were comfortable. Very patient with you, would highly recommend if you need may need their services.

Staff was kind and friendly especially a polish women named Isabella she explained everything to me and did not make me feel rushed at all. There is a long waiting period in the beginning. The only thing I did not like is that they just let women walk off after they’ve had a procedure done they don’t make sure someone comes and picks them up at the door, so these women can just walk off by themselves after having anesthesia which is kinda crazy.

At one of the most sensitive and anxious moments of my life I was handled with gentle care and respect.I could cry from the experience.EVERY SINGLE PERSON was sweet and making sure I was comfortable. Its not only the fact theyre more affordable than some competitors but the kindness goes above and beyond.I would love to thank each and every person again. ♥️

First off, the staff was truly incredible! I was very nervous after traveling out of state and reading some of the reviews but I had nothing but a pleasant experience based on the circumstances. When I arrived, the ladies at the front answered all my questions. The nurses were very patient and understanding that I was feeling a bit uneasy. The doctor talked to me before the surgery and answered additional questions I had. One of the nurses even came in and held my hand since I was awake. Even the nurse in the recovery room was super sweet. (Again the staff was fantastic). I’ve had questions post surgery and every time I’ve called was given great advice. It’s now been 4 weeks since I had the procedure and just did a follow up in my city- everything is perfectly normal. Some of the reviews scared me that I would have issues after the procedure so I waited to write this review until I got the all clear.Thank you so much to the wonderful staff for providing such a safe, professional and comfortable experience. What could have been a really terrible experience was made a bit easier because of all you fantastic people!

This was my first time using American Womens Medical Center and I cannot say enough about how I feel about these wonderful women taking care of others!! Marie is an absolute godsend!!!!!! Sooo kind and sooo comforting!!! This is a judgement free zone and I honestly have never felt more comfortable - - thank you so much to everyone at the center!!!!!

The staff was super friendly and supportive, and they made me feel really safe in what I thought was going to be a terrifying experience. I went under anesthesia and didn’t feel anything during, just loopy and nauseous afterwards. But overall, I had a positive experience and I’m glad I came here to get my surgical procedure done. Thank you to all the wonderful staff and doctor.

My first time going to this clinic. Office was clean, appointment didnt take too long (1 hour and 30 minutes), and majority of the staff was nice except for this one ultrasound tech. She made me feel very unwelcome and was quite rude to me while doing my ultrasound. She was very condescending and gave me dirty looks, but I could not understand what she was asking me to do through her thick accent. This is my first time ever going through this and it just made me feel horrible. The only other thing that I would have hoped for during my visit was to be checked on while I was waiting in the hallway. I would give my visit a 7/10.

I had my procedure done last year. I’m not one to write reviews but everytime I think back to that time, I think about my not so great experience here. This was my first time and I was nervous. Walking in, there was no greeting. I sat down assuming a nurse would come out calling for my appointment. 15 min past and I stood up to look through these glass windows like umm Helloo? And a woman put her hand up as if she said “just wait hold on” I sat back down and almost 35 min past before I was even given paperwork to wait again. I felt unseen and unwelcomed. While Getting my ultrasound with the doctor…. a nurse didn’t know I was in there and literally opened the door while the hall of other patients were waiting right there. It felt like a lack of communication throughout the place the entire experience and an invasion of privacy. When I finally was almost done and ready to head out, there was an emergency and the doctor I was speaking with had to leave the room. I had to wait 30 min, no one checked up on me and it felt as if I wasn’t being taken care of at this place at all. I just couldn’t wait to get out.

I hate giving this review just because the staff for the most part is amazing.. from front desk to the nurses in the back they are truly awesome. With that being said I went in for a SA, they only used twilight anesthesia and it didn’t work on me I was awake the whole time. I could tell the doctor was uneasy about this. The next day I woke up with a fever, and the day after turned into a high fever. I was post op 2 days and I called due concern of fevers. The PA said as long as it’s just a fever to come in Monday. I woke up the next day passing clots the size of golf balls, and bleeding heavily. Ended up in the ER. Now a week post op I have PID and on multiple antibiotics, with a possibility of needing a hysterectomy.

I originally went to Rose Medical Clinic in Franklin Park to get the pill administered but because of a cardiovascular history I have they refused to do the pill because of the history. I had already paid and had to get a refund for the pill but still had to pay $150 for the ultrasound. This is when I got in touch with Marie at American Women’s Medical Center. She has been nothing but helpful the entire time. Making me feel comfortable, providing hot lines for financial aid. She has made this process easier and comfortable as much as it can be. They make you comfortable and are respectful. I highly recommend speaking to Marie and going through American Women’s Medical if you are experiencing termination of a pregnancy.

Everyone was so helpful and kind throughout the process. Especially Marie was amazing she helped me calm down when I was afraid with the warmest hug and made sure I can get financial support to take care of the bill. Patricia was very professional as well while she was going through the step by step process with me.

They were nice, but i felt as if because it was my first time there they kinda lust let things slide because i wouldnt notice? after my procedure you have to wait before you can go to whoever is driving you, and everyone who was waiting was being helped and got juice and crackers but they literally forgot that i was sitting there waiting and the one nurse came up to me like oh youre still here my eyes filled with tears and i just wanted my boyfriend, they didnt check on me more than once or asked if i needed anything from being under anesthesia. i have to go again asap, but just worried about being forgotten again.

This clinic is absolutely amazing….. seriously…. Just amazing. I highly recommend, and if you don’t have insurance they have financial programs that can help you. Every single one of the staff is so, so nice and sooooo comforting. I wish I could remember everyone’s names… But thank you Danielle, Bella/Betty(?) (she did my IV and did a great job, sorry I can’t remember her name :/ she had blonde hair and pretty eyes), Heidi (She was looking after me after my procedure) , the nice nurse practitioner, the other nurse I wish I could remember her name she was short with short black hair and glasses… the anesthesiologist, the doctor, literally EVERYONE!!! This is the smoothest process I have ever went through and I can’t thank them enough. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Marie is awesome!!! She made my experience so pleasant, comfortable, and less scary. The staff is friendly and welcoming. No judgments or side eyes. It’s nice to be treated like a real person and not just another patient in trouble. I hope to never be in this situation again, but if I was, I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

My experience was absolutely great. From the staff to the doctor. They were patient & took their time. Usually this is a very stressed & nervous experience, but I can honestly say it was painless & quick. I recommend this place for anyone that has questions or in doubt. My favorite nurse was Marie. Marie is a amazing and she went above and beyond for me and I’m so thankful for her. She literally was there for me when I needed it most. And I can’t begin to say how much of an angel she was. And how amazing this clinic is I recommend it so much they are great and thank you again Marie! Working so hard to help me!

Took a while to get seen but my worker Maria I loved her so much I got funding for my entire procedure and I didn’t have to pay anything. All because she took time out and help me find helpful resources whom we both found and called and set up phone screenings with. I most def will recommend this place to everyone the wait is well worth it and besides her being so helpful the other staff were amazing as well. 💙 No complaints but the long wait to get seen cuz they so busy helping everyone who has appointments and doing walk-in. Same day services.

I am very pleased with how the center made me feel and Im so thankful and I would highly recommend them. Marie is heaven sent she is so amazing just gotta love her she made sure I was covered no problem and she worked with me one on one and it was very nice of her because some people would not care she cared about me and my babies and did everything in her power to make sure I could get as much help as I could and Ill always love her for that and her beautiful smile is just the best!

Angry and disgusted. Do not choose this location. They rushed my procedure, which was not completed properly, and kicked me out the door. While Marie was incredibly helpful and kind for scheduling, everyone after that was terrible.In late Nov I received an incomplete procedure. I was scheduled at 11am and waited hours until I was seen. My husband waited 7 hours for me outside. Every step of the way there was an issue. Finally, after 5 pm, after receiving an IM injection of ketamine, I stumbled my way unassisted and with an incomplete abortion, out the door. I could barely walk. I couldnt talk. I bled for 6 weeks straight and had false positive pregnancy tests, but since the after care paperwork said its not abnormal to bleed up to 6 weeks, I wasnt as concerned about it as I should have been. Finally my OBGYN and I figured out I have residual products the size of a golf ball in my uterus. I have to have emergency surgery to remove the mass tomorrow. What this may do to my uterus and fertility, Im not sure. Go somewhere else.

This was the best experience I could have hoped for under the circumstances. The staff was amazing and the center was so clean and up to date. I was very comfortable and was able to talk with Marie and she helped me so much. If ever u find yourself needing this please come here.

Marie was completely incredible from the first phone call answering any and all questions I had; she took her time to walk me through the process entirely and provided me with the resources I needed…the rest of the staff are just as compassionate and wonderful over all they made the experience smooth without an ounce of judgement.

Marie is incredible! She went above and beyond to ensure all my insecurities went away. She loves what she does and it reflects. To ensure I was provided with all my options, she picked up a phone call at 9:30pm and ensured me everything was okay. With everything that’s going on right now, Marie is a true powerhouse for women in need.

This place is so welcoming and warming easy going and very understanding. I had so much stress the day I came in I had all kinds of things on my mind because I have 7 children and didnt know how far along I was I much I would have to pay and I was spending $70-90 on uber to get home a hour away. It was alot but Marie was a angle she helped me out so much that day and the next few Im so very thankful for her and the great women and doctors at this center I would highly recommend them ....

This was a really hard moment in my life, I didn’t know how to feel my emotions where all over the place. My sister recommended me to American Women’s Medical Center. I was scare but when I call them I spoke with a Nurse name Marie and she made me feel so comfortable and reassure me that everything was going to be ok. When I met Marie she help me with support she was there when I needed someone more than ever. She help me so much, this experience would had been harder on me without her, the doctors are the best n everyone tht works there are so nice n treat u the best cause they know this is a hard time in your life, is not an easy decision u making so they are there to help u in anyway possible.. At the end of the day they are not there to judge u only god could do so.... thank u again Marie n everyone else..

Staff is very responsive and respectful. Had a lot of anxiety going in, but these girls made me so comfortable. If i could give more stars i would.

Extremely unprofessional staff. I came with a friend for moral support and I CANNOT believe these nurses and doctors. I would not go here if it were me. The nurses were gossiping right in front of us and were very disorganized and just loud as hell. Everyone here is obviously going through something very personal the staff could at least try to be a little bit more quiet. I can hear them talking about other patients quite clearly. They are constantly slamming the doors as well. The waiting rooms are very tiny and the initial room for your vitals has minimal privacy if any. Very disappointing.

I went here to get the surgical procedure, and the 1st time I came here I waited close to 2 hours to even be called. Then 3 weeks later I go for my check up and come to find out, they didn’t get everything. So I’m back here for the 2nd time for surgery. Appointment was scheduled for 10am. It’s now after 11 and I’m still here and they’re telling me there’s a few people that need to go ahead of me. I’m frustrated, emotional, and extremely upset that I have to go through this to begin with again anyways. Staff is super nice, and helpful which is why I gave them 2 stars instead of 1.

Great staff very professional they make you feel very comforitable and help you feel better about your situation, there staff is very nice. Its very fast paced and you may need to put time asaide. Marie the manager is SO SO beyond great she helped with everything she called me on a sunday just to set my appointment up got me in within a day and The price went up and she got 80% of it payed for, for me i couldnt belive it she was great. Amazing

I was super nervous for my surgical appointment but the staff and doctors here were so nice! i had no pain during the procedure, woke up easily from anesthesia and was well taken care of from the moment i walked in until i left. cant thank everyone here enough and would definitely recommend this facility!

American women’s medical center has knowledgeable, kind, friendly staff who make what can be a difficult experience much easier. They listen, provide all necessary information and have an ability to put you at ease while maintaining professionalism. The women who work here are truly amazing and I’m very pleased with the decision I made to come here.

I have coming here for gynecology and womens health care for several years now. The staff is excellent , very very friendly. The Doctor and Certified Nurse Midwife that work here are very experienced and really know their stuff , they always take time to answer my questions and listen to me, I dont feel rushed as I have felt in other places. Same day appointments is awesome.

I think they are not much professional or dont know how to talk to a customer, when I called them on Saturday they told me to call on Monday. When called them around 8:15 am, someone told that they are running late today so I called them after 9am, someone picked and she even didnot listen anything and tried to find out from my name, when i am calling them first time, how I will be there in their database, anyways after checking she told that it is not considered for insurance, can they not tell the same thing on Saturday? Looks like these guys really dont listen to customer or dont want to give them proper service, i am not going to call this place again! Customer care also looked pretty unprofessional while talking..

The nurses are really nice the only thing is that they rush during the procedure now I’m in the hospital since I wasn’t clean correctly I was left with products inside me before you go to this place please read reviews especially if you are from out of town

I took a friend here. Im not to comfortable with the situation at hand only because ive never been through it and have children of my own but my girlfriend was really Derrick between a rock and a hard place so i went with for mental support as well as her not being able to drive after. So before we drove over an hour to get there we called and informed them off legally everything medication she was on number of pregnancies EVERYTHING. So we didnt get theyre and something happen which is ebay did happen. They knew her historical prior to our visit and after 4 1/2 hrs of sitting and sitting and more sitting the dr decided he wasnt comfortable doing it theyre and wanted us to go to his chicago location???? Or for her to take the pull rich is not 100%guarantee. Which ok it is what it is but the staff was soooo unprofessional the walls say a over it no phones due to privacy issues well there was a young lady screaming at her boyfriend on the phone saying im not killing my child which why are you here? And the staff did nothing after several woman complained about how she was talking about bad mothers for doing this? They just mace it a harder experience gen it already was.

Horrible experience there after traveling a hour and a half being turned around by doctor stating i had to get permission to get the procedure from a previous dr like as if I wasn’t in charge of my body and the decision. I was also told multiple times i would be called back etc and never called back and when i finally spoke with a dr in person he was very unclean looking and he looked as if he didn’t even shower the day before. I would not recommend this place ever! Worst experience and after seeing the doctors apperance I’m glad i did not allow them to do any procedure on me

Waiting room is eerily silent with a sad TV on mute. Nurses will completely ignore you as you stand confused in front of the window wondering if you need to check in for your appointment, but with no signs around giving any direction for what to do when you walk in. They will also allow you to make an appointment for a medical abortion, even after you tell them you are 10 weeks along, which is too late for the medical option, and then accuse you of giving inaccurate information because they dont make mistakes like that (yes, you obviously do.)

Everything they are doing behind closed doors at this clinic is illegal. They are understaffed and have employees who are not educated doing jobs they are not qualified for. Know your rights as a patient. Do not go here.
