Excel Urgent Care

I went to this facility because my child was having difficulty breathing. Dr. Ogunro and his staff did an amazing job attending to my child’s needs. He acted quickly with treatment and provided thorough instructions on how to administer the prescriptions. I felt very safe and welcome. I haven’t had an experience like this before ever in my life dealing with the medical field. It was refreshing to be treated with respect and compassion. From the moment I walked in and spoke to the receptionist, to the X-ray technician, medial assistant, nurse practitioner, and doctor, everyone was amazing. My child is doing much better and I owe that to this lovely staff. Job well done!

We always receive excellent care at this urgent care center whenever our regular doctor’s clinic is closed. The nurse practitioners Ms. Marissa , Ms. Gigi and staff are attentive, friendly, and highly skilled, making us feel well cared for each time. They handle every visit efficiently, ensuring that we’re seen quickly without compromising the quality of care. It’s a relief knowing we can rely on such a great team in urgent situations!

Staff was very friendly and informed. I was escorted to the exam room a few minutes before my appointment time. Medical staff was efficient and straightforward. The NP (?) made her diagnosis based on my history and her observations and suggested a particular regimen of medication. She then asked if I had any desire for further testing to confirm her diagnosis, which I declined. Overall time in the facility was less than one hour.

Went to a different urgent care a week prior and had been diagnosed with acute bronchitis. Wasn’t getting better so came here - a friend recommended the place. Everyone was very friendly and polite. The doctor in charge was very knowledgeable and approachable. He answered all of my questions and after a chest X-ray to rule out infection he prescribed some steroids for me. I left feeling hopeful for a full recovery. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love this place!!! No appointment necessary and I’ve never had to wait very long. The staff is SO nice and empathetic. Such a refreshing change from experiences in the past. The waiting room and exam rooms are clean. I highly recommend Excel Urgent Care!

Staff was pleasant and Doctor very nice and concerned. He was thorough in his exam. The extra long wait was very bad. 25 minutes in the waiting room ok 😢 but almost 2 hours in the patient examination room !!!😢

Fast service, Dr. Jordan was awesome and so was the nurse that took my vitals. She went and made me some tea since I wasnt feeling well.

My visit to Excel Urgent Care - Cypress location was exceptional. The staff were friendly and the check in process was quick. Wait time was minimal and the nursing staff and doctor were efficient and provided the care I expected. I will definitely use their services again.

Excellent care! I’ve been coming here for years. Came in with sciatica and sacrum pain that was at a level 10 after a chiropractic treatment. Wait time was reasonable. Doctor and nurses were super kind. Gave me two shots and then prescriptions. Pain has gone down from 10 to a zero as of this morning.

I understand billable patients and how most patients prioritize over my drug screening. I’m not upset with that! However, when I’m in the lobby for one hour and 25 minutes and everyone cycles through, including 4-5 patients that came in after me (non-emergent), that is just an absolute poorly structured business. Plus the front desk people have attitudes. The owner here needs to get some procedures in line to manage this. My spouse being a provider, I see it far too often. One thing I would improve, locate the “hearing test” room not the first one by the lobby door . All I could hear was the constant opening and closing of it during my exam.

Excellent service, from staff, nurses, and doctors! Wait time was short even with others there before me. It as 6:30ish, and I needed allergy relief immediately. Amazing experience ❤️

I went to Excel urgent care on 11/26 and was utterly unimpressed with the “care” I received. I originally went in because of tightness of chest, pain in my chest when I coughed, and severe discomfort in my throat. I was told pneumonia was going around so I decided to go get checked out. The nurse that saw me only tested me for Covid and strep, both of which came back negative. Once she realized I did not have any of these two, she basically wanted to send me home with nothing . I decided to advocate for myself because I know I did not feel well and I asked for a steroids shot. She then refused to give me the shot because she felt as though I did not need it. Although this was not the outcome I desired, I did not oppose her professional decision. Instead , I advocated for myself and asked for an xray to ensure that there was nothing unusual around my lungs. The results came back normal , according the the nurse , however she did give me a breathing treatment so I can feel at ease. She eventually diagnosed me with an acute upper respiratory infection . I wrote down my pharmacy information on the paper work provided and it has been THREE DAYS , THREE days of me being sick, and the nurse still has not called the medicine in. I spent over $200 to be taken care of yet I am still sick and without any medicine. This is completely disheartening and unacceptable. I called to complain and absolutely nothing was done about it. My medicine STILL has not been called in and I am sitting here sick during the holidays with no treatment , which is what I seeked medical attention for. Please let me know how I can move forward with filing a complaint and hopefully accepting some type of care/ treatment .

Second time using this facility. Quick and easy service! They were efficient with using the VA’s services and gave me an effective examination with no hassles and headaches.

The nurse and nurse practitioner were both amazing with my 3-year-old. They were friendly and knowledgeable and it was an overall great experience.

Doctor is always professional and caring. Son came home from college sick so we immediately went there. Not a long wait and left with prescriptions to help him to get better.

The staff were friendly and attentive. They explained the procedure and my wait time was less than 10 min.

The staff was amazing! Very caring, attentive, and compassionate. The doctor even did a follow up call personally to check on my daughter. There wasnt a long wait and the doctors treatment recommendation made my daughter well immediately. Will definitely return should my family ever need urgent care.

Staff was efficient, professional, and kind. I really enjoy the upbeat attitude of all of the employees. My doctor was efficient, compassionate, and very encouraging. I would recommend them anytime.

Service was professional and Doctor listened to my issues and trusted what I had to say. They were not pushy with extra unnecessary tests.

The last few times I have gone I’ve had the same doctor and she is just absolutely great. Everyone has always been wonderful from the staff at the front desk to the nurses to the doctors. I wish we could do appointments at this location but that’s the only downside I can see. Facility always seems clean as well.

As a veteran who gets minimal service from the VA, I feel as though this urgent care helped me tremendously. I couldn’t thank them enough!

I was afforded excellent care at the Cypress Urgent Care Center today. I was seen timely, triaged, interviewed and a recommended treatment was initiated. An IV hydration therapy, IV medicine and I was good as new. The medical assistant was exceptional and made sure I was comfortable. Thanks Urgent Care 👍

This is the only urgent care I use if one is needed the staff is always professional and kind and welcoming the professionals. The nurses the PA in the docs are right on target I’ve never felt uncomfortable. I always feel like I’m being treated by an educated, professional, and when you’re in something of crisis, that’s a good feeling. I highly recommend them

Front desk employees were extremely helpful and pleasant. We were seen by the attending physician in a respectable amount of time. Although the physician was not able to provide a conclusive diagnosis, she express her concerns and advised me that I needed to go to the Emergency Room as soon as possible for IV antibiotics.I would highly recommend this facility to anyone.

One evening I needed to get a quick test for strep and Flu so I headed to my normal urgent care but it had closed earlier than I recalled. So my husband googled and found this cypress location down the street and it was still open for another 30 minutes. I thought surely they won’t take me too busy but I walked in and although somewhat busy they joyfully yes joyfully received me, explaining the process very simply, took my card and filed it quickly handing it back to me, and then I filled out a simple form compared to the more elaborate time consuming frustrating form of my previous place, and then waited maybe 10-15 minutes before being called back. I then was greater by a nurse who was also an encourager, and she quickly took my tests. I did not wait too long before seeing the doctor as in other clinics, she was also cherry although tired looking. She listened and asked the right questions. And then the tests came out. She then gave me the right medicine which let me know she really listened to me because I am allergic to a few. Compared to the other clinic, the doctor was hard to understand, and although writing on my form which meds I was allergic to AND telling him what they were, still proscribed me the medicine asked him MOT to. I will DEFINITELY and have already praised this clinic to friends and shared my good experience. These ladies you just feel you could be friends with. They’re awesome! I will be back.

Great experience! I filled out all of the paperwork online before heading in, which sped up the process. I was in and out in under an hour. Friendly staff and the Nurse Practitioner was great. This will definitely be my go to Urgent Care.

Fast reliable and friendly service. I wasn’t expecting to find answers, at best I was hoping for some relief untilI could get in to see my own family doctor Monday. To my surprise, they had all the necessary equipment and an on-site lab to be able to give me an accurate diagnosis and get me started on a treatment plan. They explained what had happened and how the treatment plan would work. Even the front desk was fast and friendly, and when you don’t feel well it’s very much appreciated!

We know many times you dont always have the best experience at urgent care visits- not the at all the case at Excel Urgent Care, Cypress location! I had a fantastic visit, reasonable wait time and everyone was friendly from the front desk, doctor and medical assistant.

Exceptional service from front staff, to the nurse, and then the doctor.Diana greeted me with a smile and was super sweet. She even came in to check on me while I was getting stitches. The nurse, Traci was very kind and made sure that I was comfortable the whole time I was there. Lastly, the Dr. was very nice and gentle while working on my stitches. Four years I have been using Excel Urgent Care and they have never disappointment me.I am 71 with multiple health issues and find that it is easier to get quick diagnostics to send to my doctors near Rice and at MD Anderson—I live north of Hempstead, over one hour away from my specialists.Todays visit was with Dian Hughes ENP-C, FNP-C. She was professional, thorough and compassionate.My Wife and I have seen Jorge Valencia, MD multiple times. Like Dian he was thorough, thinking outside the box and concerned to give me a correct diagnosis.With the inherent topsy-turvy limitations all urgent care providers have, Excel, in my opinion, does a great job. Give them a raise!

I have used this clinic several times in the past and without failed. They always give excellent customer service, friendly, professional staff, and you are seeing quickly by the nurse practitioner. No long, waiting. Period. I will refer hands-down.

I took my son to this Urgent Care because he had asthma and couldnt sleep. As soon as we walked in we were checked in and within minutes in a room. Dr. Valencia is an amazing doctor. He checked my son, provided him with the medication to feel better. Its been 1 day and my son is so much better and his asthma is undercotrol. I highly recommend this place. You wont be disappointed.

Waiting only took about 10 mins. We were tested and results came back in 15 mins. We were in and out within 40 mins with prescriptions called in.

I’ve been there several times for stitches having x-rays and Slade has time to get drug tested. They’re very professional relatively fast. If you do have some thing that is urgent when they triage you if it’s needed, they will put you in front of the line. DR. Valencia is wonderful.

Dr. Valencia was amazing with my daughter. He was very patient and calming and helped to ease in order to do a painful procedure. She had to have a boil lanced. I would definitely recommend him to anyone that goes to this clinic.

Very helpful and professional staff. Dr. Valencia was exceptional and spent time with me figuring out my issue. Very professional and so engaging. He even got his phone, opened it to GoodRX and found the cheapest place for my prescription.He went above and beyond. I really enjoyed meeting him. If I lived in the area I would see him again.

I share about my great experiences with Excel either others all the time. Most places when people make review is about how good the staff is and excels is good. Why I go there is to be treated. The is when Dr Jorge Valencia comes in. I love the Dr, he saw me again on Sunday and remembered he treated me three weeks early. I was reinfected with bronchitis again. He helped me through it gave me meds to treat but he gave me himself through his time and compassion. See Dr Valencia and know what I mean. Thank you Dr. You are living your oath.Sam

Every visit has been an easy process and great experience. The Doctor and nurse practitioner are very knowledgeable. They are caring, informative and excellent communication skills. The staff is really nice and professional. 5 stars to Excel Urgent Care.

I would recommend Excel Urgent Care to a friend bc it’s convenient to get to and cost isn’t horrible with insurance. I will say they are quick to get you out of the waiting room and into an exam room but that where quick ends. Once in exam room we waited 1.5hrs before NP came in to give us test results that were only supposed to take 25 min. They are friendly and it’s clean but the waiting is ridiculous and this isn’t the first time that we’ve had to wait like this once in exam room.

Everyone was very professional and helpful. Saw someone pretty fast. Highly recommend.

I came up here a few days ago to get some help with my sinuses. Front desk i would give 5 stars. But the nurse that did my vitals is the reason I’m giving it one star. She took my blood pressure with a machine. I’ve had bad experiences with the machine they can never really get a reading and usually when I go to doctors they have to do it the old fashion way. And I told the girl this. She ignored it and proceeded to go with it. The machine could not get a reading on my left arm and she ran it 3 times back to back. Then she moved to my right arm immediately and ran it 3 more times back to back by the third time in the middle of it I began feeling light headed and started seeing spots and n I toldHer to stop it I am about to to faint. And. I told her I needed to lean back. She froze and then just left saying she needed to get help. So I was left there by myself for a few minuets. I started to just breath and try and relax hoping this feeling would go away but it continued to feel worse and I got to a point where I was seeing so many spots I couldn’t see. So I called for help. Started yelling for it. And I’m assuming this person was a nurse came in told him what happened and he laid me back and within a few minuets I started feeling better. Few minuets later the nurse practitioner came in and didn’t seem very interested in the face that 5 min earlier I was on the verge of faintingI will not be returning to this establishment

We were in and out within 45 min, and that was with X-rays. Everyone there was very nice and friendly

I use Excel Urgent Care sometimes instead of my PCP because it is easier and quicker to get in to see a medical professional. I have never been disappointed in their care and service.

I had a really bad experience on 11/7 when I took my daughter to see the Dr. We were in the room for almost 1hr 30 min and never saw the Dr. I asked on multiple occasions when was the Dr coming and they keeped telling me 5-10min. They kept skipping us and seeing other patients and never came to our room. This is completely unacceptable as it left my daughter and I feeling like our health and business was of lower priority that other patients. I have never been made to feel so insignificant by any establishment. Ultimately we made the decision to leave after feeling unacknowledged. Additionally Ive called multiple times today and asked for my refund as we were never assisted and Im being told they will look into it. The most hurtful part of this entire enteraction is no one took ownership and apologized for the treatment we received.I truly hope this review prevents someone else from having to endure the treatment I received yesterday.

Have been visiting Excel Urgent Care Cypress, TX for past five weeks, with follow ups with Dr Valencia. Dr Valencia is a great doctor who listens to you, cares and diagnosis your condition getting feedback from you. All the staff is very friendly, courteous, professional. Thank you everybody.

Absolutely amazing visit today! Traci, the tech that did my IV was outstanding. They have a $75 IV special going, which is an amazing deal! I was in and out within an hour without an appointment. I spend more time at my PCPs office with an appointment.....Laura the Nurse Practitioner is the absolute sweetest! Will definitely be back!!

The day before Thanksgiving my symptoms flared up and I didn’t know if it was allergies, strep, flu, pneumonia or Covid. None of my Drs had an open appointment til Monday so I went to Excel Urgent Care. I went when it opened and I was seen quickly. The lobby was clean and staff was very professional. I was checked out quickly, too. I was very pleased with my care.

The service was A+ by everyone involved! The only thing was that we had to wait close to 3 hours before the doctor could see my mom, who is on oxygen and had suffered a fall. But the receptionist, Tracy, the nurse and Dr. Valencia were excellent!!!

The appointment was ok. I called back this morning to see if they had my lab results. They said they did and the doctor should call me back within the hour. They never called back. Waited old day. Disappointed.

The initial wait was long, but the admissiins staff were all very professional. Once back in an exam room, I was seen fairly quickly and released. The medical staff were friendly, caring, and very attentive.

The time of acceptance finally got better. And the time to receive the tests results has decreased as well.Overall patients in pain or sick not sitting at the clinic for hours, which makes the experience much more pleasant.

Staff from the front to the back are very efficient. They got me in real quick. I will surely spread the word. This facility provides a myriad of services: your family’s urgent care concerns, immigration physicals and a lot more.

Got in & out fairly quick despite the waiting room having a lot of people. Called me after I left with other test results so I didn’t have to wait. Nice Dr. I will definitely go back if needed.

I had an urgent situation before I had to go to work and the staff was so prompt, from checking in , to my pre screening and the Nurse practitioner making her assessment. They knew what I needed and they listened and understood and helped me urgently. Thank you Excel! It was Excel in Cypress!

The staff was very courteous and explained everything thoroughly.

All staff were very nice and provided all discharge information. One of the team even took me out to my car 🚗 wheelchair . The doctor was very knowledgeable and explained my condition. She put on a fiberglass cast for me and helped with the crutches. Front staff were all polite and cordial. Excellent care!!

I showed up about an hour before closing on 11/16/23 due to my four-year-old having an arm injury. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left the patient care was exceptional. It turned out, he had a broken arm and, of course, naturally made me have anxiety. The medical professionals there were very calm and explained everything I needed to do for the next steps. Not to mention, I had to bring my two-year-old along with us, and they were so great with handling him while I tried to help with the x-ray of my four-year-old’s arm. I really could not have asked for a better experience! Not that I hope to be back anytime soon lol but if we do end up in another urgent care situation, I will definitely be picking the Excel urgent care in Cypress.

The front desk lady Ms. Chavez was amazing! Very helpful, caring and professional. The MD was also incredible, very personable, engaging, thorough. I was seen at the end of the day and did not feel rushed. Thank you allFor a wonderful experience and the entire clinic was very clean.

The staff was extremely professional, attentive and caring during our recent medical needs experience at the Cypress location. The nurse practitioner, Ms. Laura, as well as medical assistants Ms. Traci and Ms. Pam, plus the women working the front desk, all contributed to my husband being seen quickly. The overall experience was positive! When and if the need arises, we will come here for services again and also recommend this facility and it’s caring staff to others.

I was seen relatively quickly and the staff was very friendly. They did everything they could to make sure that I received the care that I needed. I will definitely come here again.

I came in with severe congestion and totally clogged ear canals. The staff went above and beyond, so patiently irrigated by ear canals and I have so much relief! The provider was kind and knowledgeable and explained the prescriptions very well. I am extremely pleased with my experience

Did not have to wait long to see the doctor. They did a test for Flu and Covid. I had Covid. They prescribed medication. I was feeling really bad so I’m thankful it did not take long and I was diagnosed properly and medication was called into pharmacy. All very efficient.

The visit was very quick and got the treatment I needed! The personal and the nurse practitioner were excellent!

Great staff. I called and they were very friendly, the front staff was friendly as well. A nice little area with books and a tv for kids. The nurses and doctor were great. Went in with a 2 year old who had something in her nose. They were open with me and asked if I was comfortable with the procedures they were trying. I was in and out within about an hour and a half. I was nervous about going to an urgent care that wasn’t specifically for kids but I didn’t wanna wait any longer cause my daughters nose was starting to smell! They got it out and I didn’t feel judged for allowing this to happen to my baby girl! My go to urgent care from now on.

I was greeted when I walked in the door and asked me what I came in for. They were very kind and it didnt take very long for them to call me back. The nurse was very sweet also the NP and she took care of my problem. Sent in the meds that I needed and I am feeling 90% better. Thanks to your team.

Excellent care! I brought my daughter in to get some testing done and the entire visit was great. From the front staff, to the nurse staff all of them were extremely nice! We got the referrals we needed for my daughter that same day as well. I highly recommend this urgent care to anyone.

I had to come to this facility for a drug test for a new job and they were super quick. I completely forgot my mask at home and they were nice enough to give me one when I came in. They didn’t give me any attitude at all which is nice because it’s been two years now and I should have already had a mask. (It’s a medical facility. You obviously need a mask) Front staff said I had to wait about 15 minutes because there were people in front of me. I thought it would be a while because I read the earlier reviews and was disheartened. They definitely proved the reviews wrong and was hands down the easiest experience I’ve had at an urgent care.

I was feeling so sick with my migraine. They Urgent Care were so helpful. I really trust this place. I have been coming to this place for over 18 years. Great Staff member and they care for patients

Outstanding care for a severely stubbed toe. Thought it was broken but X-rays said no. I can’t say enough about the care I received. Taped it up, antibiotic salve and good to go. Thank you so much!

From the beginning to end my experience, other than being sick, was exceptional. The front receptionist was so kind and was so easy to work with checking in and out.The XRay tech was the nicest as well. The phlebotomist was the absolute best - never felt a thing when drawing blood and the Dr. while a bit hard to understand was very detailed and took lots of time with me.Great experience but wish I would not have had to visit at all.

My daughter and I have used this Urgent Care several times over the years and have not been disappointed in the care we have received. Always very professional and the diagnosis have been on target. Such a nice alternative to going to the ER.

Amazing urgent care. The doctor who saw me (Dr. Amelia Shelby Nwokeji) was so awesome I wanted her to be my primary doctor. My relief comes from years of hating doctors because their answer is always “lose some weight” and you’ll feel better. Being a person who is overweight and has been since I was a child, I learned to mistrust doctors. Dr. Shelby looked at me and spoke to me so differently for the first time in my life and treated me like a human being. I am so grateful to her and all the wonderful staff there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Excellent place to go! I went in not feeling well. Came out positive for strep and MD was very explanatory about the next steps to follow. Everyone was professional and nice. From the front office staff, to the nurse staff all of them were extremely nice! I highly recommend this urgent care to anyone.

Wait time was shorter than predicted, reception was thorough and very pleasant. And the whole way thru, nieces am doctor was very professional, and to the point. A good doctor visit!

Lobby is super clean with free coffee/water. The wait was a little longer than i would have liked for a simple TB test but everyone was friendly and they were pretty busy

Wait times are horrible. Easily 3-4 hours and then they don’t even communicate with you if things are backed off and when provider will be able to see you. I waited around 1.5 hours just in the exam room, the upfront waiting time and the initial check up wait time by the nurse is extra.

I have an 👂 ache! Ive never visited an urgent excel and this was a great experience. All staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

I was here on Tuesday and felt like the Dr on loan from Katy didn’t give me the attention and care I really needed. I progressively got worse and came back today / Thursday. The Nurse Practitioner Diane has assisted me on a few occasions and is as good or better than any doctor I’ve ever had for minor to non-ER issues. She ordered meds that should have been prescribed on Tuesday. She also told me that my blood pressure was too high and said I should only be taking Coricidin for the decongestant. What I was taking is probably causing the excessively high blood pressure.As long as NP Diane is there, I will keep returning and telling others to do so.

I cant remember exactly when I started coming to visit the Excel Urgent Care but have been coming for years. It is better than going to the ER and you go in and out quick. I have always been pleased with their service, with the attending nurses and doctors too. I never see the same doctor, but I have never had a problem at all. I highly recommend the Excel Urgent Care in Cypress.

The staff was absolutely amazing, but the treatment room needed a good scrubbing. Waiting room was spotless. Treatment room, not so much.

I came in to rule out Covid. Everybody was friendly from the beginning. The Dr. , the nurse and everyone we encountered. Staff was amazing as usual.

I had a great experience. Receptionist was friendly and professional. The technician that was assisting me was very helpful too. Didn’t have to wait too long. Place was nice and clean. I was pleased and would recommend this place to anyone.

I had an excellent experience at your Cypress clinic. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I had X-rays done that showed that I had a broken rib. The visit was quick and the follow up the next day made me very happy that I chose Excel Urgent Care.

I came here to have my military physical and blood work obtained. At 2048, I was called and asked to return the following day because she forgot to collect a tube of blood. Now I am sitting at the office and no one has a clue on whats going on. The medical assistant didnt leave a note regarding the blood work. They cant get a hold of the office manager about the process. If I dont go up to the desk for.updates, I would sit around like a sick call patient.

I am currently sitting in the emergency room right now with my daughter who was a patient yesterday at this at Excel Urgent Care. The doctors in the emergency room asked about her diagnosis and medication. My daughter stated she was told she had an Abscess on her gums prescribed Amoxicillin 500 mg and sent on her way. Lasted maybe 10 mins 5 of it was to pay. The doctor here said If she has abscess as they diagnosed Amoxicillin doesnt treat abscess bc its a form of strep. I will be reporting this to our insurance.

Always a great experience with the professionalism and kindness of the staff, the quality of care, and the ease of in and out at this location. It’s our family “go to” when we can’t immediately get in to see our primary care doctor.

Since its impossible to get an appointment with your primary care doctor, urgent care tends to be a little booked. But Excel Urgent Care gives you what you need when you need it. I waited to be seen by the doctor in about 25 minutes- not bad.

This was my first time at the new location. The front desk Demetria was beyond exceptional, knowledgeable, and courteous. I went in on my lunch break and was in and out in under an hour. The doctor was so sweat and explained everything thoroughly. The office was clean and organized.

They performed my DOT physical. It was a straightforward and familiar process for the staff. The doctor took a long time with me. I was really impressed with how much he seemed to be interested in my wellbeing. I was very pleasantly surprised.

First time here, amazing staff, friendly service. I was in and out within an hour, even got an IV for Dehydration. I really appreciate the professionalism from all the staff.I’ve always been terrified of needles but nurse Tracy made it very comfortable for me and I can’t thank her enough. I brought my son and daughter to Excel Urgent Care and received the best care and customer service. The employees checking us in were quick and answered questions that I had before going to the back. The kids play area was a nice distraction while I filled out the necessary paperwork. I appreciate the fact the area was tidy and allowed my kids to enjoy the wait.Once we were called to the back the Triage tech was extremely patient with my little ones as she got their vitals. We then went to a room and waited no more than a couple of minutes before the NP Diane and her student came in. They were very thorough and answered the many questions I had. I really appreciate the customer service this Urgent Care has demonstrated, its extremely rare these days.

My husband and I come here when we are sick and they are always very nice. The doctors are all knowledgeable and and listed to our concerns. They also provide good solutions to get us back to normal as soon as possible.

I had been feeling horrible for the past 2 1/2 weeks and finally decided to go to Excel Urgent Care, and was seen within 20 min. and was given excellent care by NP, Marissa Pangan. I highly recommend, she knew exactly what the care and treatment I needed with TLC. Front receptionist Demetria was also very customer service friendly.

I received the absolute best service! I visited this place on 4/21/18 and was greeted by a nice female receptionist, called to the triage room by an equally nice male MA or nurse (not sure) and then was taken back to one of the extremely clean rooms to wait for the Doctor. I waited about 5 mins then Doctor Leonard came in, did a quick but thorough assessment, made me feel 100% comfortable and then completed the treatment plan. I was in and out and confident that I had received the best care. I will definitely be returning..hopefully not anytime soon though.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout. Did not have to wait too long...about 25 minutes. We’re very pleased with Dr. Orguno. He was competent, professional, caring and thorough. He made my daughter feel calm and reassured her that her condition was manageable. The cost was reasonable as well. Overall we were very happy with the entire experience.

I never left any negative feedback on any business. But I really think this brand new location of urgent care could use some training to their admin (receptionist). For 1st time customer, we received very impatient tone for any questions (simply can we make appointments, estimated waiting time) that we asked. Maybe she had a bad day (for 9 AM in the morning?), but unprofessional behavior was displayed during the entire conversation.

The young ladies at the front desk and the xray technician and the doctor were very nice people. They were very friendly and took good care of my ankle injury

This was my first time here & I have to say by far the best Urgent Care Ive ever been to. This Urgent Care offers way more services then your average Urgent Care. I had no idea I could have lab work done, EKG, Xrays all directly on site with treatment & diagnoses & was in and out in less then an hour. The provider Mrs Diane explained my treatment plan. I did not feel rushed or just like a number. I have severe anxiety with needles but the nurse, I think her name was Tracy helped me stay calm and reassuring. Thank you Excel for the amazing treatment, Blessings to you all for all your heardwork and dedications to your patients Will be back as needed.

This is my first time at the new location after they moved. Its a huge place, very clean and well spaced out waiting room. My only issue was despite the quick check-in, I had a 90 min wait. My condition wasnt that serious and maybe they were backed up in the morning when they opened

The staff were very helpful. The physicians assistant knew what medication we need to take and sent it to my pharmacy. It was very quick and easy. They also tested us for strep, Covi Loud, and the flu.

Ive been using Excel urgent care for many many years and they have never let me down. They are always friendly and the wait time is very minimal.

I visited 2 weeks ago my son was sick. It was not my 1st time there and I never had an issue before but this time the front desk person told me the strep throat test was covered and I just need to pay the copayment. 2 weeks later I received a bill saying the test was not covered. I asked the billing person why they told me it was covered she said probably they did not check. I paid the balance. But will never go back or recommend to anyone. Those places that say it is all covered and then after the service they sent you the crazy bills it so unethical.

Staff members working the desk were professional, kind and courteous. The doctor’s assistant was comforting, knowledgeable and helpful.. Doctor was friendly, knowledgeable, timely and made me feel valued.. I recommend this place to anyone needing medical assistance.

I went to Excel with a serious health issue one evening. I was in and out within an hour with treatment , complete understanding of the problem and care instructions. The staff and provider, Marissa Pangan, NP were extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. I have used Excel since first opening and have never been disappointed.

Very impressed. After my initial visit, I had a couple of questions the next evening and I called. The nurse practitioner who had seen me the day prior called me back within five minutes to answer my questions and concerns.

It was not a long wait. The staff was very nice and compassionate.

2 years ago I went to the location because I got hurt on the job(workers comp). The person that I saw was a Nurse practitioner and misdiagnose me. I was told that I had a sprain hand and wrist , I had a torn ligament in both. I can not go to school to become a Funeral Director and I still have problems. It will not heal because it is my dominate hand and wrist. I am so disappointed. No empathy, compassion was shown to me. I will not come here again. I will be getting a lawyer for my pain and troubles that I am still facing.

God and honest truth. This is the most efficient team full of caring, kind, and understanding workforce I have ever seen inside the healthcare system. They are highly recommended not only by myself but by all of my associates and friends as well. It doesn’t matter the injury or sickness they are called excel urgent care for a reason. I would recommend this place to everyone I know..before coming here on Saturday I had visited the ER the Saturday before and they were no help to me all they said was drink plenty of fluids and take Musinex D from behind the counter and I just wasn’t getting better until I came here and I am feeling much better now even though I have a ways to go to be 100%..I am much much better and everyone there was so nice and I will be going there again..it was a great experience..I also went there for swelling and pain in my knee and was given an anti inflammatory and it has helped me tremendously..I recommend this place and if I could I would give it 10 stars

Everything went well and it was fast. I would have given it 5 stars but like of these facilities they usually quite angry frint desk. Greet people with a smile and make them feel welcome. Beautiful facility but thats not enough.

Dr.Ogunro and staff were fast, precise, and very informative. My issues were adequately diagnosed and treated with a follow up plan. As a Healthcare Administrator I’m rarely impressed but my expectations were exceeded. Thank you to the whole compassionate team that cared for me.

Was nervous after seeing some bad reviews, but I went in due to an unrelenting hacking cough that was getting more and more strenuous with wheezing and the receptionists were perfectly friendly, I was called back super fast, seen super fast, and out the door within like 45 minutes. I guess they could have been a bit more thorough but I was pleased with my experience.

We were in the car driving to the clinic and called to see their hours to make sure they would be open. It was 8:25, somebody picked up the phone and said they were open until 9. We arrived literally 2 minutes later and the doors were locked. There was one person we could see in the building but she would not make eye contact or respond to our knocking on the door and then nobody would answer the phone. The door says 9am-9pm every day and we were locked out at 8:27

This Urgent Care is beyond great. Very family friendly, Doctors and NPs are always going above and beyond to make sure your health needs are met. Prices are very affordable compared to going over to ER and not to mention wait times are very short. This place offers many things and even have X-rays on site. I most definitely recommend this place.

I brought my kids here today and I must say the Excel Urgent Care Cypress has phenomenal service and great employees. You can definitely tell they care about each and every patient. The nurse practitioner gave incorrect information about a drug interaction. I know this to be true as I am a Doctor of Pharmacy. I do not recommend. It’s interesting that Excel cares enough to respond to my complaint on Google and didn’t care enough to respond to the complaint message directly sent to Excel. I received an automated message saying that I would get a response but never actually received a phone call. Do better Excel because you certainly failed me.

My daughter’s school nurse recommended this urgent care. I can see why... Awesome providers and staff! In and Out in under 45 minutes with x-rays and a colorful splint for my daughter! Will definitely come back. Thank you!

The front office is kind and friendly, but the Nurse Practitioner was very short. She was almost disrespectful/condescending. I would recommend finding a new job if you arent happy.

I had been here two years ago and recently remembered what an awful experience it was. I was severely sick from the flu, and any time Im sick my blood pressure tends to drop and I get dizzy. When I went into the exam room, the doctor (who was incredibly nice and professional) decided that I needed to take an IV. The nurse who administered the IV was a nightmare. Before sticking me, she told me that I needed to get my blood pressure up in order for her to be able to find my vein, and she had me do some breathing exercises which not only did nothing to help my dizziness, but made me feel short of breath. Then sighed like I was wasting her time, told me to lay down and rudely said If you breathe correctly then your blood pressure will go up and you wont feel dizzy. Youre doing this to yourself. Im not sure what Id done to offend her, but she wasnt being nice whatsoever. To be clear, I couldnt control what was happening to me, as sick people often cant. She then she proceeded to stick the IV in my arm prematurely and missed. After she missed, she was suddenly super sweet, apologizing profusely because Im assuming she knew how much it would end up hurting after a few hours. She finally stuck the IV in correctly and then vanished, never to be seen again.I can deal with a rude healthcare provider, but I cant deal with one who also doesnt give me adequate care. Im only giving it two stars because the doctor was godsend and helped me feel so much better.

Im really saddened to have to write a negative review of Excel Urgent Care. Ive been a resident of the area for over 20 years and my first experience with the clinic dates back almost as far. Ive referred countless people to Excel when they were in the old office near Target. Ive seen Dr. Chris Ogunro a few times and I truly believe he is one of the best and most knowledgeable physicians I have ever met. But as of last Sunday, I will never be back. A few months ago, I went by there and they wouldnt let anyone in the building and were running triage from the sidewalk, so I should have seen the writing on the wall.Having been up early all weekend for long events with my kids, I take my youngest in as his allergies were flared up from being outside for extended periods and hes somewhat susceptible to strep, so I wanted to get him checked. We walk in and there is one other person in this new large waiting room and the staff is swimming behind the fishbowl window to separate them from the infected. Very non-personal presentation, but no matter.I fill out the paperwork since my youngest hadnt been here recently and provide my insurance and copay along with all the other relevant information. In response Im given mask, which is perfectly fine. My son and I settle into our seats and Im propped up semi-napping while we wait and after sitting there for roughly 10 minutes, the staff asks me to put on my mask allegedly citing CDC guidelines. Basically, I wear the mask or I have to leave, but my son is fine to not wear one but he is the one with the allergies flaring. Keep in mind those same guidelines call for distances of 6 feet and Im not even within 15-20 feet of anyone, there is only one other person in there, and the staff is still separated by the fishbowl.If you choose to enforce this silly mask protocol, that is fine. Despite the fact that our family doctor doesnt require this level of nonsense, Ill most likely comply if you treat me as the customer, an adult, and you use a little common sense. Yes, Im sunburned, but Im not dripping Ebola from my forehead.Im sick and tired of the poor customer service received from healthcare facilities who feel they are doing me a favor by allowing me to enter their hallowed halls of medicinal excellence. People need to realize we are the customer and speak with our wallets and refuse to frequent places that feel they are doing you a favor. Again, I would have had no issue with the mask situation once called back or if the waiting room had been packed. But the lack of common sense when Im not even remotely close to anyone and Im separated from all staff with that sheet of plastic is ridiculous. I hope you refunded my FSA account like I asked.Sadly, I will NEVER set foot in Excel again.

This was a great experience for me. I went in with what I thought was kidney stones and they were the most courteous and compassionate doctors and nurses. Dr. Rodriguez and a nurse Deena were so helpful and made sure I was completely comfortable. I would reccomend this place to anyone needing quick help. Especially on the weekends if you cant get into your doctor. They are open from 9-9 everyday.

Friendly front desk staff make the check in quick and easy. My wait was less than 10 minutes once all paperwork was complete. I received excellent care from very knowledgeable and friendly staff!! I would highly recommend!

The staff was very friendly and professional, and Doctor Grossman was extremely helpful. I went around 4pm and there was no wait time, just the time to fill out the initial paperwork then through the door. The facility was clean as well. I would definitely recommend this Excel Urgent Care to anybody.

I was visiting my sister in Houston and took me to this place because I haven’t been feeling well for awhile.This place gave me the perspective of urgent care facilities as the staff are very competent and friendly. NP Dian took time to listen and gave me the right diagnosis and treatment. I would highly recommend this place to anybody !

Went in there feeling absolutely awful so I was in a bad mood, but the most wonderful nurses took care of me and made sure I got taken care of. They were beyond sweet and the most caring ladies I’ve ever met.

HORRIBLE. Just went for a urine still sitting here in hot waiting room no air conditioning, they have you sit there for no reason,they hold your ID until your called for WHATEVER reason, im going on my second hour

Some of the best doctors Ive ever had, bar none. Prompt service (after paperwork), waited in the examining room all of thirty seconds, they were thorough, and gave me a definitive answer that visit. They even gave me a free copy of my x-rays and called to check on me a couple of days later. Twice. Very friendly, very knowledgable, very communicative.My only complaint was that one of the nurse aides--Tina, I think--seemed like she didnt want to be there; minimal conversation, a neutral expression on her face, things like that. But then again, I did come in at five on a Friday, so she may have just been tired.

I had poison ivy and they gave me a shot and some steroids to take at home. Unfortunately they didn’t prescribe me any topical cream and so I was still itching 3 days later. I used some cream that my husband had and it helpedA little.

My husband gave me the flu and I was miserable on a Sunday evening. I went in and was seen so quickly and efficiently. From the receptionist to the nurses and Dr. they were all WONDERFUL! Caring and efficient was what I needed and that’s what I got! Was in and out in under 30 min. I am so thankful for this Urgent Care.

The staff here is efficient, works well with my teens and preteen to make sure they are comfortable and understood, and communicates with parents well. Their kindness and ability to take care of us after normal doctors hours is much appreciated. ❤️

This place is a mess. At first I thought my appointment was going to be fast and painless, but after waiting an hour in an exam room the PA entered with no idea why I was there and took all notes on a ripped piece of paper towel. After getting her up to speed, she was in and out of my room and would disappear for 10-15 minutes at a time. Then she pushed for a pelvic exam and told me I should get a call back in 3 days with results. Over a week later I called them, since I’d had no contact, only to find out that one of my tests came back positive and I needed to follow up with my OB ASAP. Their lack of communication is frustrating and the fact that they knew I was pregnant and at a higher risk is appalling. The whole experience was an absolute joke.

By the time I walked In the door and left it was only an hour. The front staff was very friendly and understanding. I told them I didn’t have insurance and I was giving a quote and actually ended up paying less that what they told me. The nurse practitioner was very nice. Very good service by everyone. Hope I don’t have to see them again though lol
