PRISTINE OB-GYN CARE - Cypress

I have always loved the care given at prestine. They are great with making me feel comfortable, and heard. Ive had two babies with doctors O and one on the way. Their bathrooms are clean, the staff is super nice and knowledgeable.I recommend becoming a patient before you get pregnant so that they can get you in for an appointment right away!I highly recommend this facility.

I have had to come back a couple times and the Dr has always been so amazing and gentle with me. I went to the ultra sound tech in Spring and she was amazing as well. Thank you for helping me feel better about my situation.

I was very skeptical at first having visited the Hargrave location prior to going to Cypress. But much to my surprise, Dr Borel and staff were 💯 AWESOME! She made me feel comfortable throughout the process and I have no doubt that cares about who she cares for. I highly recommend this doctor and this location.

Doctor was great but the answering service was terrible to deal with multiple times ive called and they would give me the run around. Even when they would transferring me to their billing department they wouldnt give me a direct answer about my procedure or how much everything would cost. Very frustrating I left to go to another Gynecologist not worth the stress

If they ask for a prepayment plan for your birth plan, run away. My wife and I have been fighting with their billing team for 6 months to return the overpayments so that we can pay our other medical bills. Which in my opinion violates Texas law sec 101.352 H. The billing team is rude and incompetent, and if you have any issues you will likely never see resolution.

We had a great experience considering the difficult situation my wife and I just went through with the miscarriage. But when we had our visit with the doctor she gave us hope and positivity. We are excited to have found this clinic for my wife.

I wish I could give them less than one star. The doctors at this place are incredible, they take the time to care and explain every detail, but the people in charge of the front desk at the cypress office (on Schiel Rd) are super rude, they never answer the phone, they never help you solve nothing, if you need to change the time or day of an appointment they always tell you to do it online because they do not have access to do it. I was calling for 3 days to make an appointment and they never answered the phone, finally I had to ask for half a day off from my job (Im a teacher) to be able to go to the office to make an appointment, something that can be easily done if they answer the phone, on Google Maps and in their offices they say they close at 5pm, but if you arrive at 4pm to make an appointment because they never answer the phone, they are already closed!! They leave early, office hours and Google maps hours DOESNT MATCH. The bathroom is super dirty all the time, the ceiling always have leakiness. PLEASE RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.

They were absolutely wonderful! Answered all my questions in full detail and really made me feel welcomed and cared for. Definite 10/10 Recommend!

Great visit. Doctor took as much time as needed to examine me, and assure me that my condition is stable and I am okay. Because of that my next appointment with her is a year from now. Also noted, they are closing for remodeling so no need to worry about conditions of the office like I read in previous review.

THE FRONT DESK STAFF is the worse costumer service Ive ever experience... They never answer the phone even when Im inside waiting for my appointment I hear the phone, and they just pick it up and hang up immediately, thats why I was never able to make a phone appointment, now everything makes sense. The ceiling is leaking water and full of mold. This is the worse place to take care of your pregnancy, RUN AWAY!!

I personally see Dr. Borel Fonhoue and she is the BEST OBGYN I have EVER had. Ive been through many OBGYNs despite being young yet she is the best. I have found my home clinic due to how outstanding she is. I went in requesting the Paragard IUD due to trying many hormonal options and having no luck. I explained my past issues with artificial hormones and she was extremely supportive of my decision to go non-hormonal. I have never experienced such support from an OBGYN before and I was a NEW patient. It was so comforting to be met with such care when Ive had different experiences before coming to the Pristine clinic. Any concerns Ive had during appointments was met with understanding and care. Dr. Fonhoue has been kind and thorough with my medical concerns and any care concern she has had. My experience with her has been amazing and the staff at the clinic are wonderful. I definitely recommend Dr. Fonhoue as an OBGYN.

“I strongly advise against using the services of this clinic. Despite scheduling and paying for a doctor’s visit, you may be attended to by a nurse practitioner. Additionally, the facilities are in terrible condition, with noticeable mold on the walls. Their scheduling system is highly unreliable, as I was rescheduled without any confirmation from my side, resulting in the loss of an entire morning for a canceled appointment. Overall, the service provided by this clinic is simply unacceptable.”

After visiting here for the 4th time I decided it was necessary to leave a review. This review is for the people who have multiple options when selecting an OBGYN facility particularly the cypress area. Do not come here! I have no issues with Dr. O, the ultrasound tech or even the lady that drew my blood.BUT Pristine OB-GYN care you really need to fire all the staff from the front office all the way to the check out people, this is some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every time Ive come in someone is always on the phone whether I check in or check out, very rude! I never get a proper greeting like Hello welcome in, nice to see you how are you doing? Only, whats your name and the amount I owe! All this place cares about is money money money...yet they never explain anything to you properly unless you profusely question them, even then its ohhhhh I dunno.What set me over the edge is I spent an hour last visit trying to sort out the cost for genetic testing. Between my insurance carrier and this facility....never have I ever had to make my own calls for billing transparency but anyway.... With this most recent visit there were no notes left on my account from my last visit and no response in terms of out of pocket costs and of course no one knows anything meanwhile the lady is on the phone while all this is happening!! because of them I will no longer continue my visits.

Am extremely happy to have used your clinic infact I will come again and again such a wonderful place to be Dr Borel Fanhou is so unique and wonderful an excellent Dr and a professional one as that she showed me love and care from the day I meet her she is excellent in her job and ready to help and offer solutions at all time she made my child birth so easy I so much thank her for her selfless service and care .also to the nurses and front desk staff are so nice too God bless you all ..

The Dr is so sweet and straight forward, I have being seeing same Dr for 27 years she is my first OB due to mines retired. I love her

The facilities are in TERRIBLE condition, it’s like you go back 20 years, the smell, the carpet, the ceiling, the lighting, also with noticeable mold on the walls. At the entrance there are bugs everywhere! The lawn is unacceptable, you can’t even walk to the entrance. Also their scheduling system horrible, you’ll be on the phone all day for nothing . I needed a breast form to take it to the hospital and the printer didn’t work for more than 3 weeks, the form was printed with a few ink all mixed yellow, red, blue, and of course the hospital didn’t accept that. Overall, the service provided by this clinic is simply unacceptable.”

Dr. Borel was amazing. I switched drs and she was very attentive, listened, asked if I had any questions or concerns. She gave me suggestions and reassured me. Best experience iv ever had with a dr. She was super nice. Would recommend!

Very poor customer service! I was hung up twice by the same lady and she was screaming at me. Was advices to use the app being that I couldn’t get what I needed. The amount of time taken to respond is ridiculous.

So far the MD are very nice. The facility look quite old but its durable.The front desk staff looks distracted every time I arrived for my appointment. NEVER I saw them greeting anyone when they first walked in and both front staff does not look welcoming.

I cant say anything good about this office. I had to switch OB doctor at 34 weeks pregnant because of how uncoordinated this office is. I started seeing Dr. Barrera at 6 weeks pregnant, she was great! It was until my 32 week ultrasound that they decided to let me know in person that she was no longer there. No call, no email, no previous notice! I had to be seen by another doctor (no choice) and now I had to deliver at St. Lukes hospital in the Vintage (no choice.)The ultrasound technician is rude and makes you feel rushed. She doesnt let you see the screen to see the baby. All she cares about is getting you in and out of that room. You hear a heart beat for five second and thats your visit. No pictures to take home!The front desk is a mess when booking an appointment, they only let you book one appointment at a time and wont let you book an ultrasound and follow up the same day.They will stress you out, you will be waiting forever and will not be happy with the visit.The only staff who did a great job was the young girl who took my vitals every visit and the lady that did my blood work. So thank you ladies for the good work in such a hectic office.

Dr. Fonhoue was my physician at Pristine OBGYN Care in Cypress, Tx. I have never had an OBGYN be so dismissive and committed to not listening to my concerns. As I attempted to explain in detail the issue she decided that she could talk over me and declare my issue without trying to fully understand what I was saying. My visit was a terrible experience, I will be complaining to every organization that she is involved with.

Had a great experience. Staff was friendly and professional. Wait time was short. Exam was thorough and Marissa NP had very professional bedside manner and made me feel comfortable. Glad my daughters referred me to Pristine.

Trying to get in contact with them... the fact that when you do finally get ahold of someone when you call, they are just taking your info down so that someone else can call you back is ridiculous. The people fielding the calls cannot help answer any questions as well. I am looking to be a new patient as Dr. O was recommended to me and was looking past the bad reviews for this office but if I cant even get an appointment, I guess thats my answer! I used the online scheduler but it doesnt allow you to pick the doctor, and this morning I got an email saying it was cancelled. Also, in my opinion, the website should really list the doctors and hospitals affiliated per location. I might just drop by since I live close but this is seeming like a dead end!

I understand there are wait times at doctors offices. Sometimes clients are late, or what was supposed to be a 15 min appointment turned into a 30 min appointment. I understand that, which is why I purposefully book appointments for first thing in the morning. However, three times in a row I have either had my appointment pushed back an hour or not had an appointment at all. The first time I came here I had an appointment at 8am (first appointment of the day) and I had to wait 45 min in the lobby. Why? Because my doctor was 45 min late. The second time I had an appointment at 9am and waited over an hour in the lobby. Why? My doctor never showed up. It wasnt until I went back to the receptionist front desk that they told me the issue. They were about to send me on my way but I had to demand to see another doctor that WAS in that day. Third (and last) time, I again had an appointment at 8am (first appointment of the day) and I waited in my car for 30 min. No one, not any doctor or any staff, was in the office. The office opens at 8am and they had an appointment at 8am, and NO ONE was there.Im sick of the US boasting that our healthcare system is a free market when doctors and medical staff do not act like it. Im your client. Your customer. Treat me like one. If I was consistently late or wasted my clients time for no good reason, Id be FIRED. Simple as that. I will be taking my business to another OBGYN that hopefully values my time.EDIT: They called me back and said the reason why no one was there at the office was because the office is now closed on Mondays. I made the appointment over the phone just a month ago. I never once received a call, text, or email about their new Monday closures. I got plenty of confirmation texts however. The front staff should have immediately called all clients with Monday appointments to try to reschedule them the moment they decided to close on Mondays. Horribly unprofessional.

If I could give ZERO stars I would! I have been a patient at Pristine since 2019 and the quality of care has gone, downhill to say the least! I moved here in 2019 while I was 30 weeks pregnant. I called everywhere to get an OB to take me as a patient and no one would. Dr. Barrera was the only one willing to take me that far along! She is an AMAZING doctor. She cares about her patients. She always made sure that you left her office understanding everything she had just to say, she addressed all my concerns! One of the best OBs I have had. Fast forward to this pregnancy. The day before my August appointment, they decided to inform me that they would have to reschedule my appointment because Dr. Barrera left. I had to fight with them to get another appointment that worked with my schedule when they were the ones who waited till the last minute to call and reschedule me when they knew since July she had left! Went to my next appointment and the nurse practitioner that I saw, you can tell she didn’t even bother to open my chart and get the basic information. They had me in that room for 5 minutes! I pay a ton of money and they only bothered to see me for 5 minutes. I was supposed to have my glucose test at the clinic but of course they waited till I got there to inform me they ran out of the drink last week and had to go to quest to get it done. Which wouldn’t have been an issue, if my husband didn’t already leave to run some errands. The nurse practitioner then informed me that no one at the clinic would be delivering my baby because I give birth at Memorial Hermann. And when I informed her, I was a schedule c section, she said nothing! I am RH- and needed to receive a Rhogam shot at 28 weeks, which they didn’t schedule me for. So I called them and informed them about the situation, and they could care less. The lady I talked to said she had to verify with the nurse and call me back. A week passes and I don’t hear from them. I call back and once again it was not a priority for them! It took them 2 weeks to finally put an order in for me to receive the shot. I had another appointment Tuesday and once again I left angry. I saw the same nurse practitioner again she checked my baby’s heart rate, half apologized for the Rhogam situation and downplayed how important the shot was to excuse their mistake. She than tried to rush me out the room, didn’t even ask if I had any concerns to discuss, which I did. And when I brought up my concerns they were quickly dismissed, and she cut me off mid-sentence. Everyone at this clinic is very rude and very dismissive. They do not care about their patients; we are just money to them. I only stayed with this clinic for Dr. Barrera. I will say the lady who drew my blood was always so sweet and kind! You also pay a ton of money for sonograms and you do not even get to receive pictures! I have since left; I am thankful that another OB was willing to see me so far in my pregnancy. I did not trust pristine to deliver my baby. If you want quality care this clinic is not the one for you!

The only reason I’m leaving 2 stars is because Dr. Barrera is absolutely amazing. We went through a miscarriage and she was nothing but delicate and even with our new pregnancy she’s been nothing but supportive and amazing with my risen anxiety and all my questions. However, the front desk staff has absolutely horrible communication skills. I was told by my dr that it would be okay to come in a week later and get gender blood work done, front desk told me that they wouldn’t give me any paperwork to give to them for my blood work like they had done previously that i just needed to call a day prior to when i wanted to come in. I did such and was told by the operator that i had to call the day of, but that i was in the right range to get the blood work done. I call the day of to let someone know that I’m coming in no one answered not once but 3 times with calling within business hours. I wait 2&1/2 hours and call back and am told that not them but i myself would have to call somewhere and see if this was even covered by insurance and that i couldn’t even do my blood work today because i had an appointment next week and that’s when it has to be done (which was never relayed) and then by a different operator was told to just walk in and tell them. When i walk in the people at the front desk tell me i have to come back in RIGHT at 11 weeks and i couldn’t do it today so i told them i turn 11 weeks on Sunday and they said “oh then i don’t think you can do the blood work” and then was told to get it done during my appointment next week and she even had the audacity to tell me that my doctor didn’t tell me that i was able to do my blood work this week. I told them that it wasn’t my fault that they have horrible communication skills and that i wasn’t leaving until my blood work was done or i had legit answers. As i was leaving i heard the snarky remarks of “hope you don’t have to redo it”If it weren’t for Dr. Barrera I’d be leaving asap. Dr. Barrera has my love and support.

My overall experience was pretty good. The front desk staff was horrible until the end of my pregnancy when i noticed they started hiring new staff. The new front desk staff are very friendly and helpful. Dr. Barrera was amazing my entire pregnancy. I had the best birth experience ever! She is very caring and helpful.

Its a good place and I love my Dr. I just wish when the appointment is over that they will print you out your next appointment and what its for like other dr. offices do instead of giving out a card with just the time and date on it. So we can be prepared for that appointment instead of getting rescheduled when we didnt have no idea what we needed to do for that appointment from the beginning. And when we have ultrasounds can yall please print out the pictures. This is a very special moment for the parents.

If i could give this place zero stars I would. Do not go here this is the worst doctor‘s office that I ever been to! I thought since I had issues going on down there that a gynecologist was going to help me , but they didn’t, if you have issues down there you’re better off going to urgent care or another doctors office. I came in because I had issues down there and I was itching and in pain I had an inflamed cervix and the doctor didn’t prescribe me any antibiotics when I left. She told me to take some Tylenol and over the counter medicine, WHICH DID NOT WORK. That following night I was in pain throughout the whole night and I couldn’t deal with it anymore. The next day I decided to go to an urgent care. Also from Pristine doctors office I was not going to get my results until 7 Days later. When I went to urgent care that same day the doctor prescribed me antibiotics and stuff to take for my symptoms the doctor at the urgent care truly cared about what was going on they didn’t just send me home without anything. seven days go by, I was not informed on what my results were so I called Pristine and asked what are my results and they tell me all your results came back in yesterday which I did not receive a call at all. Which is so unprofessional. The doctor still didn’t prescribe me nothing but just told me to take Tylenol and over the counter things which I been doing before I got there. Obviously I was there for a reason! Im glad I went to another doctor because now I feel better and my discomfort and symptoms went away. Pristine does not care about their patients I was in pain & I went to a different doctor and got treated that same day and went home with antibiotics if you want a doctor that’s gonna care about you do not go here. Waste of money!!

My initial visit exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so accommodating and helpful. The office itself was clean and well kept. The front desk associate and medical assistant were very kind. I was seen by Dr. Placette and she was amazing. Ive never had a physician sit with me so long to talk. Didnt seemed rushed at all. I got the sense that she really loves what she does and cares about her patients which, of course, is very reassuring. I believe my follow-up is with Dr. O and based on her reviews alone, Im just as excited to meet her as well.

My experience at Pristine was exceptional. Everyone was kind and informative. The facility was clean and relaxed. You can tell the entire staff love their work and appreciate their patients. I saw Dr. Placette and don’t have enough words to describe what a wonderful doctor she is. She took so much time and care to listen and ensure I was comfortable. I’ve never had that level of care. She exceeded expectations. Don’t hesitate to book an appointment, they will not disappoint.

Staff very rude. The online scheduling doesn’t translate over to the actual office very unkept and the building was very creepy

The staff is really nice and helpful, with great communication. My insurance was rejecting my prescription, and the whole team was very helpful with resolving the issue and getting me the one that I wanted. Dr. Placette and the ladies at the front desk took care of it for me in a timely manner and I am so thankful! I will continue to come here each year.

Dr. Barrera is really very nice ... but she almost killed me by waving me on at every appointment and insisting that everything looked great. It was not great. Within 3 days of finding a different provider I was hospitalized with serious complications that would have been fine if treated earlier.Also - the billing office here is a nightmare. It’s been 5 months and they won’t return my calls. They haven’t filed with insurance. They are refusing to refund a portion of my global payment since I paid in full with cash then left the practice because of their inadequacies.Do yourself a favor and find an office that isn’t worried about collecting a payment to push as many patients through as possible.

They provide the most annoying and useless way of making an appointment. They have bunch of locations but all needs to dial one number and operator will take a message and send to location to request a call back. The worst thing they never call u back u have to keep calling several times and leave messages.Why pristine is having so complicated system ??? Why cant you have separate phone number for each location??? I would not recommend this place to any patient. Just go find different doctor 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

They kept asking me to fill out a form they were sending to another email up until an hour before my appointment and the form kept resetting or was having issues while I was filling it out but I managed to get it done on time.I really didnt feel welcomed at all. Staff was fine just wished they were little more friendly. I was uneasy the whole time and talking about my chronic issue to the doctor they made me feel like...I was being silly about worrying about it.And...it felt like they barely looked at my issue and barely talked to me about my history so the whole trip there felt really pointless.

Wish I could give zero stars. Terribly disorganized office. I made an appointment online over a week ago and received and email confirmation and reminder email. It is now the day before my scheduled appointment and no one ever reached out to me to confirm my appointment like the info states. I called the office to confirm myself and they said they have no times available then and could come when I am working. For as long ago as I made the appointment, someone should had reached out to me about the appointment was not available. I doubt anyone would have reached out to me if it wasn’t for me calling myself I would have shown up tomorrow for nothing. They tried to reschedule me when I have work. Maybe if they asked a week ago this would have been okay but less than 24 hour notice from me calling them is not okay. Only thing they could say was their websites are not up to date. This place could have had great doctors but I’m not even going to give it a chance after this horrible disorganization.

I’ve been trying to look around for other OBGYNs to make sure I’m receiving the best care. I’ve only been treated by Dr. O and Dr. Barrera. The care has been ok. Dr. I’d bedside manner isn’t great. She’s very blunt and told me to start praying, after she asked me if i was religious. The front office staff here are rude and not very helpful. I had an appointment at 8:15am and the staff just wonders in, i waited 1 hour to be seen. They make random appointments at random times. I requested my medical records 3 weeks ago. I’ve called now 5 times and I only get an operator. My records have yet to be released to me or my doctors. I cannot go to another doctor without my records being released. Note: if they release your records, you can no longer carry out your treatment at that facility. (No exceptions) even if you want to just shop around to other doctors. No, not allowed. You have to not receive care why you wait for them to hold your medical records hostage. I’m going to call everyday until I get my records, maybe twice a day. This is medical incompetence. This is not what a pregnant woman needs. Less than 1 star review.

I wish I would have looked at these reviews prior to coming here. I really like both Dr.O and Dr.Barrera, but the people who work in the office are horrible . They are hard to get on the phone and will schedule appointments when they know the doctor will be late or not in the office at that time. None of my appointments have ever started on time due to the doctor being at the hospital for a surgery. I have been waiting almost a month for a pre-authorization. Every time I speak with someone they say they are going to follow up and never do. When I call to get the status, I get the run around. I do not recommend this office.

My experience with this particular women’s clinic wasn’t so great. I was given a referral to see a specialist. The communication was was horrible, specialist was never able to contact anyone to get information that was needed. On schedule appointments I was seeing an available OB because my original OB resigned. Her leaving was not communicated with me as well as who I would be seeing to continue with Prestine. I was also told that someone would be contacting me with an appointment to go register at the hospital, It will be St. Luke’s or Memorial Hermann, at some point that ball was dropped. While get an ultrasound It was then noticed that I was having contractions and that I needed to get registered right away I then went to register with St. Luke’s. The communication was dropped several times. No one knew anything as I continue to call one number after another and Prestine Womens Clinic rarely ever answer the phone.

I was skeptical of this business due to the reviews, but decided to give it a try since most were related to the front desk staff and not the doctors.After two appointments, I realized this OB-GYN business was not for me. Dr. Berrera was great, no complaints there. The front desk staff is the issue. My first appointment was very expensive and I asked Did insurance cover anything. The response was no, you havent hit your deductible. Okay, you are right. However after speaking with my insurance company the deductible does not matter and they cover 80% of all specialist visits. The insurance company couldnt tell me any information about the specific claim because it had not been filed yet and still after over a month has not been processed. I was told by the front desk staff they were backed up in the billing department. The second appointment was going to be just as expensive with little explanation as to why and I dont really trust their judgement on what my insurance covers. When I decided to switch providers, even that was a struggle. They did not send all of the information, so I had to call only to find out my recent ultrasound had not been reviewed yet after 6 business days. They told me it takes 5-7 business days. I called the next day to check the status and finally got someone that could help. The results were reviewed within the hour and send to my new doctor. I dont know if they use a third party company for their receptionists, but they seem very disconnected to what is going on and the needs of their patients. I would not recommend going here unless you want to deal with incompetence.

First experience with this clinic and it was great. DR.Jacqueline P, M.D. is the best doctor.It met the expectations I was told by others. Its a busy clinic but every staff was so nice, smiling, and welcoming. Really felt like you were their only patient. Will definitely recommend!

Before I start, this company will try to say that my comment is invalid but I promise this is all factual. My 19 year old daughter went here and they falsely claimed that she was in fact pregnant. Dr Placette holds complete responsibility for this ill informed information. She is a scam artist and really knows how to ruin young women’s outlooks of the medical industry. Dr Placette is an embarrassment to the industry and I pray for anyone who is ever in contact with this woman. My daughter was obviously not pregnant and she suffered greatly emotionally because of Dr Placette. Please please please, do not trust a single opinion from Dr Placette and rather seek an actual professional. In addition to this, the entire front desk staff at multiple locations failed in many scenarios of any formal patient interaction. This entire company is a complete embarrassment to the healthcare industry. As someone who has worked for many years in healthcare, I am ashamed I ever allowed my daughter to attend such a facility.

Go to location due to convenience, however original physicians left practice and unsure about new ones as not always available.

Highly unsatisfied with their lack of communication, consideration and unprofessionalism . The office calls me two hours prior to my procedure to tell me insurance would not cover and full payment is expected at time of service. Upon check in, the front office gives a me a different and higher price from what was discussed with me over the phone. This not only happened to me but also the young lady that was checking in before me. The staff lacks accountability and didn’t even try to apologize for the inconvenience they caused. Clearly no one communicates effectively in this practice. I ended up leaving without any answers and without having procedure done. Dr. Barrera is great but I cannot say the same for the financial and office staff.

It’s always a hit or miss with care with this facility. I’ve gone to two different locations. Dr Placette is amazing and I love her she never makes me feel ashamed and is always willing to answer any questions I have but I have waited for over an hour at times and have had to reschedule appointments because their website doesn’t update all the time. Test results also take a while and sometimes they won’t even call you they will just put a prescription in with the pharmacy and never inform you of why. Thinking about finding a new GYNO to go to. Wish I could take my doc with me though.

I would definitely give it 0 stars if I could. I called to make an appointment while confirming my insurance is accepted, I was given all the assurance and also got a call the morning of my appointment as a reminder of my visit; everything seemed professional until I got there and waited for over 40 mins before being told my insurance or any of my information isn’t “popping up” which means I cannot see a doctor or If I want to I could by paying out of pocket. I sure as hell got my insurance and it’s valid but after that long of a wait their solution was me having to pay to see a doctor instead of taking the initiative to ring the my insurance company for clarification; their front desk staff named Alida abruptly tried to interfere the conversation I was having with the staff that was serving me and just told me i was no where on the system and when I suggested that she could call the insurance provider she turned to me saying “your appointment was at 2:50pm and while I wait on the phone for the insurance people to give me an answer it’ll be past a certain time so you’ll have to be rescheduled anyways” . (Also just a side note to the clinic if anyone is reading this, please never assume that someone don’t understand the language you are speaking in - and it’s very rude to just speak another language in the midst of a conversation with someone else in believe the person won’t understand)In short I waited 40 mins past my appointment time to be told my insurance don’t show and that I could pay out of pocket to see the doctor or they would either ways reschedule my appointment as it will take too long to resolve the issue.Looked more like they are scamming people to pay out of pocket and wasting their time till the end where if patients are desperate they would pay to see the doctor regardless because they threaten to reschedule your appointment rather than help you sort whatever issue there was on their system, because right then I rang my insurance and everything seemed fine. I also lodged a complaint against the clinic with the insurance company; hopefully they will take away their coverage for this clinic with more occurrences of such.

Easy to get an appointment and Dr Guerrero is great. Tiny office, waiting room seats about 3 people comfortably. I was unhappy she requires a separate visit to write simple prescription after seeing lab results, which is costly for those without insurance. I was very disappointed that I had to leave 4 messages before getting a call back. It was very difficult to speak with a live person after initial visit. Also some labs that are included in well woman visit didn’t come back. ☹️I was counting on getting my LDLs.

This place is horrible, very bad experience if anyone want to come here. Unprofessional staff including the one answer the phone and especially the front desk. I had appointment to remove the birth control, I mentioned that I don’t have insurance so I asked clearly how much total and if I can afford it, they said $159 for removal that includes all the visit. They charged $25 for deposit, then I got to the office I had to pay $117 , they had no record of my deposit at that time until I told them. Then they suggested me to remove and insert a new one the same day- I of course ask how much, thay said about $600 to $1000 . I was okay with that. I had to call CVS to pay for my device almost $1100. When I got to the appointment, I came 30 minutes early, they wanted to charge almost $400 more, thay said that the fee for remove and insert. I cannot afford that so I told front desk I didn’t aware of that much and I want to cancel appointment and return the device to get my money back. Front desk said “you have to call them.” She gave a number, I tried 20 times, number not existed. I had to ask her for another number, she had it ready waiting for me. Unbelievable. I talked to the CVS about the situation, I had speaker on so that front desk can hear it. CVS said the doctor office have to send it back and front desk again said “I had somebody takes care it for you”. Amazing. 2 days later I called back to see if they did send the device back to CVS or not. They told me, “no, it have to stay at the office for 60 days”. It was in June. I managed to have more money so I made appointment to get it done. Before my appointment fews day, they told me that I cannot do it because the device has to send back and they canceled my appointment. On August 27, I call to check again, and of course they didn’t do anything yet. This Monday August 30 I called again and a guy told me it started processing, it takes about 2 weeks . 2 hours later, they called me and said the device cannot return because it was opened. Cannot believe. I was early for that day and they are the one received and kept the device the whole time. Now they said that it cannot be returned and I lost almost $1100 for nothing

I wish I could give zero stars but unfortunately I can’t. I can’t even give a proper review of the doctors or midwives here. I am on week 3 of trying to get an appointment here with no date in sight. I have filled out very simple new patient paper work, I have filled out record requests and STILL cannot get an appointment. I was told it took up to 5 days to review a document that took 2min to fill out. Even after receiving what they needed I still cannot get an appointment because they’re waiting to speak to my Insurance. For whatever reason none of the women at the front desk can remember my name or why I continue to call. They can’t even remember that I’m pregnant. I had high hopes for getting in with Dr. O after hearing amazing things about her but apparently her staff is just too incompetent to follow through with new patients unless you call everyday. Hope you have better luck than I did.

Cypress location is the worst, I went to talk to Dr. O since I had a induction for tomorrow 09/03 at memorial Herman but that hospital does not take my insurance so I couldn’t deliver there (understandable is the hospital policy) but i think before they schedule me they were supposed to verify it with my insurance but oh well the didn’t… so I called St Luke the other hospital they are associated with and confirmed that I can have a induction appointment there, but Dr, O told me that I couldn’t and If i wanted to deliver my baby i had to pay my own bills because my insurance was tired of paying for my bills… and that I could go up to 42 weeks pregnant with no problem and even if i go to the hospital they would of send me home because my insurance doesn’t cover me and I would have yo pay all of my bills….with this being said she didn’t give me any clear answer so as soon as i got out from my appointment with her I went to St Luke hospital and talked to the coordinator of registration of the hospital and she told me that i was the 3rd person that came with the same problem (that dr O said we could not deliver there with amerigroup insurance) at this point i was mad because why she has to lie like that… i love the location at Hargrave the staff in there is the best they would always try to find a way to help you, I would NEVER go back to dr O, NEVER . Really disappointed with this doctor

This place is cozy and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The doctor is knowledgeable and sociable, very easy to talk to, and will answer any questions you might have. I highly recommend this place for being in Cypress, hopefully they never leave the Cypress area. Dr. O is amazing! If you want to see her, make sure you schedule ahead of time, as she is very popular.

I went to Dr. Barrera for my entire pregnancy and absolutely loved her. She cares about patients and covers all questions and concerns you have. I also loved the staff. They are wonderful. If I would to get pregnant I will definitely come to Dr. Barrera again. Thank you and your staff for everything had a great experience.

The only reason I’m giving a two is cause the doctors weren’t necessarily terrible but the staff on the other hand could use some training. Unlike my previous dr and my new dr their online portal sucks and getting in touch with your dr is like pulling teeth ! Even hospital ER couldn’t reach anyone when I needed care. They messed up multiple blood works causing me to have to take time out to redo them and voicing my concern just made me feel even more unheard.

I would not recommend this Obgyn. I went here twice my first pregnancy in 2019 I end up finding another doctor because I never meet my doctor here until weeks of going to my appointments and only seen her one time I felt like they didn’t give me much care at all it was my first pregnancy so I end up finding another doctor who actually cared. But when I became pregnant again I end up having to come back because of the pandemic my first doctor was not accepting new patients and that’s when. All hell broke loose Dr O was very funny and sweet but she doesn’t really care one time she Literally called me someone else name there is no personal relationship with the doctors here at all they just won’t your money and to top it off she didn’t even deliver my baby some random doctor did she never called me or checked on me I had a horrible experience I advise you to find a better Obgyn

My doctor is nice but the wait times at this location are god awful. They call you the day before stating that if you come in 5 minutes after your appointment time they’ll cancel it. But won’t get to you until 40 minutes after your appointment time.

I went in this clinic for my yearly exam and got a good service. The place is notably clean and organize. The doctor takes her time in answering my questions and never made me feel rushed because other patients are waiting. Im glad I found a wonderful Clinic!

These people are scam scam scam. They are one of the rare clinics who diffrentiate so strictly about a problem visit or an annual check up.The doctor didnt send my prescription to the pharmacy. I had to call and remind few times. They dont communicate and literally just to scam money. They were supposed to tell me my out of pocket price for something scheduled 3 weeks ahead and they didnt tell me until 1 day before. Thats how slow their service is.Also, I took an appointment at one location but on my way they called and said go to other location . Then i picked a doctor at other location but when I went there they said another doctor will see you for today.Everything was so weird and fishy.Please dont go there and save your time and money. There are so many better doctors out there.

Each time Ive visited, the doctors and staff have been super friendly, and very nice. Dr. O is amazing, she really took the time to answer my questions, and explain things to me. The office is also neat, clean, and has a wonderful atmosphere.

Do not go here if you are in pain. It takes 5 to 7 work days for lab results and no treatment available during the wait to ease discomfort. Nobody answers the phone, the portal messaging system does not work and the website chat messaging will ask for your personal information - its like talking with customer service. They scheduled me with a Dr. I had read reviews on and when I was about to go into the room, they informed me that they substituted the Dr. with someone else that I didnt have any time to research who would be examining me (I checked later and the person wasnt on their web-site). The office is behind a home that looks abandoned - a little creepy.

If I could give the office NO STARS I would! My first 3 children were delivered by Richard Nuila-Crouse but he retired last year so I started searching for a doctor. I set an appointment for this doctor and an hour before my appointment I called to confirm information and they told me they cancelled the appointment and meant to call me the day before nut of course they didnt. I was mad because I had taken off of work and they said the doctor was available and didnt even call me. So I told them I needed to see a doc so I had to drive to another office and met with a mid wife. My next appointment was an ultrasound I pulled up again to the Cypress office and this time I didnt feel the need to confirm my appointment bc I received a call from them the day prior confirming my appt that day. When I arrived no one was there. I called the doctor line and again they said it was cancelled and tried to say they called me for sure. I had the office manager call me back. Infuriated this time because again I took time off and was not informed but actually received a call confirming my appt. She gave me a free sex ultrasound but I got to the office and waited 3 hours for my ultrasound. They were behind schedule. The ultrasound tech advised me that the schedule was accidentally double booked. Of course I let the nurse know how horrible its been. Another patient who was waiting in the waiting room expressed to me how horrible her experience with this office has been too. After this they sent me a letter releasing me from their office. I was already looking for another doctor but they sent the letter because of all their mistakes. Since I chose to express my concerns they released me. This office is horrible. I hope you really look at reviews that are true. The 5 stars maybe from their office itself bc other patients that day said they were never coming back! They are horrible and cannot even simply schedule your next appointment.

RUN AWAY!!! Considering the delicate nature of what women go to this office for youd think there would be some resemblance of bedside manner. If I could give them a zero I would. When I entered the office the staff didnt acknowledge me for 10 minutes. When they finally came to the front desk I was signed in and sent to the back maybe 15 minutes later. I wanted for Dr. Placette for 45 mins and when she did come in she was rude and dismissive. She told me I was pregnant and I let her know that it was not possible due to the fact I had been with my wife only for 10 years. She responded by implying I was a lier and telling me that if this wasnt the case it could be a tumor or immaculate conception. Turns out it was a false positive (go figure). I dont know if it is because I am African American or what but observing her interactions with her other two patients it was extremely clear that there is a disconnect.

I made an appointment with this office 3 weeks in advance online just for them to tell me when I show up to the office that my appointment was not in the system, even though I showed the receptionist that I received an email after I made the appointment and also an email of them reminding me that I had an appointment the day before. This was very inconvenient for me considering that I drove 30 minutes in for my appointment.

I went for well women’s exam. Absolutely love Dr.O. She is so friendly and professional. A visit I usually dread was not this time. I felt very at ease and all questions were answered. It was a pleasant experience.

Just bad. Do Not Go Here. They charged me every time I walked into this place until I called my insurance for myself and was told that most of what I had paid for was covered 100%. Have not received any money back from them. Also, Dr (forgot her name but she saw me because Dr Barrera was out that day) was very condescending and dismissive. Office staff was unprofessional (Maria). If there was an option for zero stars I would have selected it.

This is the most unprofessional healthcare office Ive ever been. Patient appointment scheduled for 8:20am, front desk staff arrived work at 8:47am.

Not being from TX, this was my first OBGYN experience out of Cali. Every time I have an appt it is great, the PA takes her time though to answer any questions and that shows the care they have here. I appreciate the safety measures theyre taking during this trying time dealing with the pandemic as well. Thank you everyone at Pristine Hargrave location for all you do to take care of us!

Had an amazing first visit! Dr. O is so sweet, funny, and down to earth!! She takes the time to explain in depth and doesnt beat around the bush like other doctors Ive been to. I would HIGHLY recommend her.

My experience with Dr. Placcette was horrible. She did not listen to any issues I had and she kept comparing her pregnancy to mine. She lied and said that I was a violent patient because I told her that I did not trust her to deliver my child.

Dr.O is nice, but being nice is not enough. I am 6 weeks and 3 days pregnant and we were not able to detect a heartbeat, so immediately she told me that i was miscarrying and suggested i start the D&C process. I have had friends who were not able to detect a heartbeat until 8 weeks. Dr.O jumped the gun and automatically told me a heartbeat should be detected at 5 weeks and 5 days. HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? Another thing, the nurse who was supposed to take my blood to measure my HCG levels, did not even know how to draw blood! She stabbed me 5 times and was not able to do it. Her exact words were Um, for some reason its not working today. Maybe you should have someone else do it for you.Personally, Id stay away.

I do not recommend this doctors office. They tried to reject my health insurance, even though they were in-network. During my visit, the doctor did not give me all of the necessary information on my after-care.

Dr. Placette is very informative and spends quality time with her patients. She cares about their well-being and it shows. I also appreciate that the office does in-house ultrasounds and bloodwork.

I had an issue and they were able to get me in quickly. Everyone there is very friendly and I didnt feel like I was just a number, the doctors took their time and listened to everything I said and answered all of my questions.

It takes so long to get in contact with them. I have been calling and emailing for weeks about my prescription and I have yet to get in touch.

Very unprofessional, none of the staff have bed side manner. They do not put enough thought into their diagnoses or what they tell you, and they don’t care about what you have to say. If i could go back in time I would save myself over a year of my time trying to get help from them.

Very poor customer service from staff at the front desk. I have been to this location several times and only seen a doctor once. The last visit I had scheduled, I made it very clear to the staff that I wanted to see Dr. O and she said yes I will be seeing her, but when I got there they tried to force me to see a NP which I did not want to do.

They rescheduled my appointment 4 times, finally get confirmation and take off work only to get there to be told they rescheduled! Staff might be great but I wouldnt know, never saw anyone!

My wife and I went here in preparation to get pregnant and it was a nice experience. Our doctor was warm and she thoroughly explained us every detail there is.

I am happy with the support I received from each person in this clinic through out my pregnancy. Great people, great clinic!

This clinic seems to shady billing practices as well as suggesting and going through with unnecessary procedures. This clinic uses incorrect billing codes and physician Tax IDs so it appears as though the physician and procedures are covered under your insurance and the clinic themselves will confirm that the physician is within your network. However, they will use the physicians other tax ID code which leads to everything being charged out-of-network. Then, they actually billed another physician to my insurance to try to correct the problem. The only physician I saw was Dr. Placette but I was getting invoices for Dr. Ogunlade in addition to Dr. Placette. Absolutely ridiculous. I have been trying to get this resolved for over 4 months with no avail. In addition to the financial burdens caused by this clinics inadequacies, they encourage unnecessary and costly procedures. After one gynecological exam, they suggested that I get an excisional biopsy. Once I had the procedure, there was absolutely ZERO follow-up. After 4 weeks of not hearing anything, I reached out to the clinic to get my results and the physician refused to discuss unless I went in physically even during the COVID19 pandemic. But the post-operative visit was outside of the window for my insurance (again this is the FAULT of the clinic). But the physician still would not discuss or give me a call to see if I had any post-operative complications or tell me the results of my biopsy! I had to go out of my own way to request the medical records from the hospital and send my report to another physician at a different clinic to get my results. Note, this was for a suspicious precancerous lesion. After getting a second opinion, the other gynecologist said it was completely unnecessary and not needed at all.I had such a horrible experience here and would never want anybody else to go through this.Update: I see that Pristine OBGYN has responded to me and I want to make a few points very clear.- My issues regarding billing has NOT been resolved as they stated. I sent out an email on November 16, 2020, have followed up 3 times since then with no response. I am still being charged the doctors fee for the biopsy that is 100% covered by my insurance. They are STILL billing my insurance incorrectly. I have included a small screenshot of my bill of today, December 8, 2020 and its rather clear my issue regarding the biopsy has still not been resolved.- Regarding my care, they have not been in constant communication with me. As I stated in my earlier review, I had a biopsy on August 7, 2020 and NO ONE reached out to me via their own portal or phone call to discuss my results or if I had any post-operative complications. I chose to reach out on September 15, 2020 via the portal to get an update on my results. Then I was asked What biopsy and the clinic themselves never submitted a request for the pathology report from Memorial Hermann (biopsy was done at Memorial Hermann by Dr. Placette). Thus, they sent me a form to sign which they should have sent to me from the get go and consequently delayed my results even further. To make it absolutely clear, to this day, I still have not spoken to Dr. Placette regarding the results of my biopsy. I had to submit my pathology report to another institution to get my results.- The ONLY reason why I cancelled my televisit was because the issues regarding insurance was not resolved and the clinic could not confirm with me that this televisit would be covered by insurance.

I have been calling, three times a week, for four weeks, to have a nurse call me back and have received no return call. I have been with this office for two years, and this is the worse that I have ever been treated. I will never return to this office again.

I have been calling multiple clinics in the area for my daughter that has issues with her cycle. This is the only clinic which got as very soon appointment.

The staff at pristine always does what they can to get me taken care of as quick as possible whether it be in office or via email or phone.

Pristine OB GYN provided me great service and would certainly go back to them. Recommended for all ages!
