AG Urgent Care Canarsie

I had such an amazing experience here. Everyone in the office is very friendly and welcoming. They helped me with my needs. I 100 percent recommend this place.

This was not the cleanest place, but the doctor who treated me, Dr. Nelson-Davis, was such a kind, sweet woman! I came in there with some kind of respiratory illness, and my blood pressure was very low. Her concern was so touching! She prescribed me some meds, and Im feeling better already, just hours later.

If I could give zero stars I would! I came here with severe back pain which hasn’t subsided for over a week, and they did nothing except prescribe me narcotics! the nurse who triaged me could not get an accurate blood ox reading, and seemed highly uncomfortable treating me. The older nurse was rude and unclear with her instructions, and had terrible bedside manner. When prompted to do a urine sample, the older nurse yelled after me telling me not to leave my belongings in the exam room. This is highly unusual, as a patient— why in the world would I not be allowed to leave my belongings in the room in which I am being treated? Further— there were signs all over the room saying that patients were required to turn cell phones off during their visit, so that they could not record. I had the primary physician read off incorrect lab results to me, and from my exam room I could hear the staff arguing about whether or not my results were correct. Then- the primary physician prescribed me narcotics without even giving me a physical exam! They told me to get an X-ray (elsewhere, of course) even after I said I was having nerve pain and experiencing numbness. They did not provide me with a referral. Over all this was the worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office, and I implore anyone with the ability to do so to make these providers accountable for their negligence. Do not go here.

Had such a worse experience, receptionist literally made me leave the office, even though i was really sick. Highly Disappointed.

I had a very good experience at the 681 Flatbush Ave office. Dr. Nelson-Davis is very professional and calming. The medical assistant was also very professional and knowledgeable.

Dr. Eula was excellent, she made me feel extremely comfortable during my visit.The receptionist, Nurse Elizabeth was extremely pleasant and professional .Dr. Eula took her time with me , she was very informative and patient. I was taken well cared for.

Very unprofessional generally. Didn’t bother to help me verify my appointment, or find my insurance. Finally after persisting it turned out that I is an appointment and insurance. Then after my blood test, I told the nurse I wasn’t feeling well, I started sweating profusely, and was on the verge of passing out. She brought me water, told me to pee in a cup when I felt better and left me unattended. I sat there with my head between my legs for 15 minutes trying not to faint. I felt really awful about being abandoned like that and was amazed the nurse did nothing to help me recover. The doctor was in the next room watching TV. Would not even send a dog to this clinic. Worst medical experience of my adult life.

My experience with the urgent care was safe and comfortable..the help at the front desk was professional and warm and the physician was very informative and helpful..lovely ppl to be around...I will recommend anyone to go.. thanks again kidesha

I decided to try it out once I got to sick to take the pain anymore. The doctors were great the physician assistant outstanding the front desk nurse out of this world ! She takes care of all your needs with her pretty self! Schedules you as needed friendly atmosphere they are the best.

I literally never leave reviews but I simply have to for this place. As someone who normally goes to modern MD or city MD, I am used to subpar service and long wait lines. But that is never the case at this urgent care. The doctors are amazing, I’ve seen three doctors there and they all have an incredible bedside manner. Never a long way and the front desk and nurses are so sweet.

The staff here was super polite. It’s always a pleasure walking into an establishment where you can feel welcomed. I’m one of those ppl that is terrified of needles but they made me feel comfortable and I completely appreciate that

I arrived with my family shortly after they open at 9am. We were told that the doctor wasnt in and doesnt normally come until 9:30am. This seemed odd. What are patients supposed to do from 9-930am? Regardless, the doctor didnt arrive until 10am, an hour after they opened and didnt seem at all apologetic. Our treatment felt underwhelming. Communication wasnt stellar, and the doctor wanted, in addition to prescribing us antibiotics (we tested positive for strep), medicine for my toddlers apparent allergies, simply because he was rubbing his nose. She didnt pursue any other diagnostics to assess his potential allergy situation beyond claiming, multiple times, that because he rubbed his nose he must have allergies. It all seemed fairly shallow diagnostic medicine. Ive been to other urgent cares in Brooklyn and have received much better service.Additionally, this location doesnt provide rapid flu tests (2 day turnaround) which was surprising to me as I thought all urgent cares did.Giving it 2 stars because the receptionist was kind and followed up with us.

I came to the Urgent Care at Prospect Lefferts about a month ago. I was seen by Podiatrist, Dr.Adams the miracle worker!I was in so much pain last month and could barely walk. After being treated by Dr. Adams, I am back to my old self. I can run and walk again.The staff is friendly and helpful, and the Doctors are amazing!

Not the most welcoming atmosphere and was told by reception that Id need to pay $75 for a rapid COVID test, but giving 3 stars because the provider I saw, Dr. Rao, was so kind and sweet. Definitely made a quick interaction over a stressful experience comfortable, which I really appreciate.

Terrible experience! Walked in for a consult during office hours and the person at the front desk tells me they sometimes don’t have providers or nurses come in during the weekend! An urgent care without a provider- what a joke!He also checked my insurance (Cigna, which is listed as in network in their website) and tells me I need to pay the full consult of $150 as they don’t accept Cigna! Never going back

I would NOT trust this place if it was the last urgent care on the planet earth. They’re taking peoples money for a FREE COVID test. How are you charging $89 to test people when it’s supposed to be free. And then LYING and saying that insurance only covers one test. The integrity of this place is in the dumps. I wish I could give them no stars. I wish I knew how to report them.Do better and stop trying to profit off of people’s ignorance.

For the neighborhood Urgent Care they need to shut down, theres times when theyre not open because the doctor didnt show up, why you in the neighborhood if youre not going to open up. Why dont you take all insurances, I currently work in the medical field and they should have a pay scale for people who either do not have insurance and dont have insurance and it is not covered. There is no reason why you guys are asking for payment up front, when whos to say if services will be rendered or not. I work in Billing I know that you should have a pay scale, I could care less that youre privately owned you should do better. I will never be going back to this establishment because they are taking peoples money. Big urgent cares well still see you with or without surance this company is money hungry. There is no reason why I had to pay $185 just to be seen

I walked in on a Tuesday afternoon after registering online, I was seen by a nurse right away. They took my vitals in the exam room and then you wait for the doctor to come. My experience was very good. The doctor was kind and addressed my concerns without rushing me. Overall an excellent experience.

The first time I went there it was fine, they are stingy with information but they took me for a COVID test within 20 minutes (they said they were taking me immediately...). HOWEVER the second time I went there, they refused to let me in. The door was locked, there were only three people in the waiting room, but they made me wait outside and didnt tell me why. After three minutes of standing and waiting, I left. Extremely rude, and poor way to run a healthcare organization.

Recently got a PCR test here. The out-of-network price was reasonable, there was no line, and I received the results in about 40 hours. They are conveniently open late. I was hesitant to come here based on the negative reviews but didnt need to be.

I wasnt a patient here, but I had politely asked them if I may use their bathroom (which was clearly not in use and the clinic was completely empty when I walked in). All three staff were very unfriendly to me and rude in their response. I have a feeling I was being discriminated for not being a patient here (do I have to have my insurance billed so that I may use their bathroom...smh). Mind you...another medical clinic on the next block let me use their bathroom. Not my fault that I have bladder issues. I wont be coming back to this clinic ever.

I filled out pages of docs to register the night before so I could be in and out quickly for my rapid test, to make the flight.I get there and the lady at the desk says she doesnt get any of that information! So she wanted me to fill it all out again.Then she tells me they dont actually have any rapid tests that day...I left.

They are very negligent and rude in this office. i went there for a Covid test on Tuesday after asking how soon would i be able to get the results. I was told 2-3 days. I have called today no answer so i walk there only to e told that my test was sent out today Thursday. I should have been traveling on Friday. No one can explain to me what happen even though the discharge paper said i was there on Tuesday she keeps saying I was there today. I will not be going back to this office.

This place is great. I went there to do a PCR covid test. The staff were very friendly. There was no line. At the end of my test, I was told the result will be ready within 3 days. I received a phone call the next day to confirm my email address and then I got a text message showing my test result! I am so happy to see the result in 25 hrs.

Went for a PCR yesterday. Short line outside was super slow. It took about 2 hours from start to finish. Once inside everyone was friendly. Got my results in less than 24 hours!

AG Urgent Care was able to safely provide a PCR test on short notice. It was very clean and efficient. The team was very friendly and helpful.

This place is indicative of why I dont seek medical care in my neighborhood. It has a dingy, rundown atmosphere. Dark and dreary. I called before I went. I left a message and a rep returned my call. I asked about their hours and what insurance was accepted. She said they took all 3 of my family members insurance and that covid testing was free. I get there and am told that they only take mine. The asst at the desk steps away, comes back and says they do take one of my sons plans. Ok. Im looking at a sign on her desk for my other sons insurance... the one they dont take. Excuse me, didnt you say you dont take this plan?. We dont, thats an old sign. He would need to pay $239 for covid testing.She does the covid test... swabs each nostril for 2 seconds. I comment that thats the quickest Ive been swabbed. She replies 5 seconds. No, that was 2. How accurate will these results be?Meanwhile I call CITYMD to inquire if they accept my other sons insurance for covid testing and am told that it doesnt matter because covid testing is free. I thought so. Never again.

I was seen within 20 minutes of arriving at AG Urgent Care. The nursing staff and physicians are considerate and very thorough. Will definitely return to this urgent care center if needed!

Cant believe how nice the joint was. Looking for a good 24 hour urgent care clinic near me and I came across AG Urgent Care in Brooklyn. Check them out if you need a solid walk in clinic.

My daughter needed to be seen due to a fingernail infection. Her pediatrician could not see her, and the finger did not warrant a trip to the ER. Each one of the staff was friendly and patient with my daughter. We received antibiotics for the finger and were relived the moment the doctor said it was common.

Provider Danita and Elizabeth were wonderful. They listened to me and made me feel taken care of. Good team.

This office is committing acts of FRAUD !!! BEWARE !!! A Medical assistant here photographed my government ID on her cell phone ! When I asked her to produce the communication she sent to her “ team “ she told me “ I Can’t do that “ DO NOT BRING YOURSELF OR FAMILY MEMBER HERE ! On my visit I had a great experience The assistant Candace help me feel way better about my problem. Also during my procedure the doctor made sure I wasn’t in no pain . I would recommend this site anytime.

Painfully slow(waited an hour outside), out of network for common insurance, and try to charge you 89 dollars(first time I’ve ever been charged) for a PCR that you’ll get in 2-3 days. Go to a real urgent care or hospital.

For me, the nearest urgent care is dump, so when I found AG Urgent Care just a few extra minutes away, I was thrilled. They are a fantastic and very clean community medical center.

My visit there was great! My visit was really quick, I didnt even need to wait long to get tested. The staff there were really kind and professional too! :)

DO NOT COME HERE! It is a waste of time and money. I just went to this office for a migraine, and I even called in advance to make sure they would prescribe something stronger than over-the-counter drugs. All they did was tell me to go to the pharmacy and pick up excedrin, then see a neurologist for treatment and real medication. It cost me $50 to have a person tell me to take the medication that I told her I usually take for migraines.

I have visited many urgent care centers in Brooklyn due to my health issues. None of them stack up or compare to Ag Urgent Care. I recommend this place to anyone who wants staff who care and a clean facility.

The AG Urgent Care staff was friendly and even though I was the doctors last patient of the day she was willing to sit down and answer all of my questions and help me understand what the next steps should be to treat my problem.

They have great doctors and staff there always friendly and helpful. Even with kids. They take there time and listen to you and your issues. I like it a lot there.

WeHealth is a great asset, just make sure when you need to receive a call you keep the app open but other than that the service is great!

If you are wondering what time does urgent care open at AG Urgent Care, The answer is it never closes. I went in there at 3 am and the service was just like I went to an urgent care at noon.
