NP. Sheena is excellent! She assessed my situation appropriate to my needs (which included arriving in a good deal of pain). She was professional without being cold, and decisive without rushing me through, although it was near the end of office hours. She showed me empathy, courtesy, and listened to me carefully and patiently. I felt seen, heard, and respected. I would not hesitate to recommending her to others.
Took my daughter Sunday for a sports physical for school. Staff was very friendly, this facility is super clean too. We were in and out in under an hour. Definitely recommend
I have to say it was truly an “Exrpress” experience. I received a thorough exam and it was less than an hour from beginning to end. The nurse Tania was on her game and very informative. Jennifer the Nurse practitioner was also very knowledgeable and informative as well. All of this was impressive because of the very high volume of school physicals there. Would recommend this particular location to anyone in the area!
Ive visited Midwest Express Clinic several times now, and I must say, I am very pleased and great with the service provided! The front desk staff are warm and inviting, and the Doctors, assistants and everyone in between has been great to interact with and has a positive and caring attitude geared towards You getting the care needed. I visited this particular Clinic in Blue Island and was pleasantly surprised at the reception, the office in General..from the reception desk to the delightful music that was playing to the Nurse Practitioner that saw me was ABSOLUTELY a Great experience. I went for pain on my left hip...they are so very friendly and nice and kind...I have visited another Clinic in the past and they were nice as well but this one was just what needed when I went to them! Just a really wonderful staff that handled me with so much warmth and great care! Shall I need to go back I will not hesitate!
The entire staff was AWESOME!!! They understood the urgency of my medical situation and took action. They didn’t wait for me to complete the questionnaire or to run my medical insurance. They took action. I am greatly grateful and appreciative of the quality service that Midwest provided. Also, my entire care took less than an hour. AMAZING ❤️

I have mix feeling. I initially went in for my daughter. My first visit staff and Dr.s were amazing, polite, attentive, no complaints made me feel comfortable returning for future urgent care at this location. I was given an appointment for the following day and felt comfortable on returning.Showed up the following day and maybe receptionists was overwhelmed (different person from the first visit) but having an appointment she said it didnt matter and I had to sit down and wait. I waited over an hr and a half to get my daughters x-ray done. I feel with an appointment they should have other protocol. I showed up on time and just felt rushed. X-ray tech was polite and nice.
That was the fastest i walked in and out of urgent care. I appreciate the attitude of urgency. Urgent care should not be a 2 hour visit. The fact that my son was seen in a matter of 15 minutes was a great experience. Thank you.
We are always seen in good timing. Saves me a trip to the ER which couldve been hours of waiting plus the staff and doctors are so nice. If you need a prescription it is called in right away and the best part is you can register online and save your space in line.

Never in my lifetime have I heard of being turned away because I didn’t have my credit card with me. Especially with Covid symptoms. PPO insurance is accepted everywhere and you do NOT need a “deposit” to see a doctor. I have reported you for fraud and refusing to see me. I will send you my emergency room bill now! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! 1 star is being nice!

My appointment was excellent from start to finish! Ciara at the first desk was very nice, pleasant, and personable! The Nurse Practitioner whose name I forgot 🥴 was very nice and patient with my many questions. But the icing on the cake was when Lydia drew my blood! I historically do not like needles. I even said I wasn’t going to look, but of course I looked anyway. And when I did, I was soooo shocked that the needle was in and my blood was already flowing out so fast! I did NOT even feel the needle going in my arm! I have NEVER experienced such a painless, quick blood draw in my life!!!!! No pinch of nothing! Thank you soooo much Lydia!!
I was a little hesitant coming here after a bad experience I encountered at a different location in December of 2023, but I’m happy I did. I didn’t schedule an appointment, I just walked in Saturday morning around 9:40am. As soon as I entered I was immediately greeted by the receptionist who was super friendly and had me all checked in within a minute! I say down and waited approximately 12-15 minutes as there were 3-4 people before me. The lady that checked me in the back before bringing me to a room was super nice and she just made me feel comfortable and not awkward. Just 3-5 minutes after taking all my vitals and information she took me to the room to wait to be seen by the doctor. Literally 2 minutes later the doctor came in and she too was so nice and you could tell she actually cares, and took her time with me instead of rushing to get to the next patient. She explained everything to me and what I need to keep a look out for to make sure it doesn’t get worse and she’s the first doctor to NOT prescribe me amoxicillin antibiotics like every other doctor on the planet! I appreciated that because I feel like amoxicillin is the main antibiotic they always give to you and as I get older your body gets immune to it and it doesn’t work, so getting a whole different kind I was relieved! I go back for a follow up with her so she can see if the antibiotics are working or if we need to try a different kind. Also I forgot to mention at the beginning that as soon as you walk in you’ll get that welcoming, comfortable, sit down and relax type of feel because it’s not dead silent like other doctor offices. They had music playing and I enjoyed it.Moving forward this will be my go to location! Good vibes, great staff and treatment. No complaints on my end.
Trash!!! I did a pre check in three hours before online, UPLOADED MY INSURANCE INFORMATION, sat in the clinic for over an hour before this girl at the front desk checked my insurance and tell me they don’t take it. Really something that should have checked when I walked in. Out of $75, but I’m here now.

Never coming here again worst experience ever one of the girls at the front desk has attitude watched her get an attitude with a child waited 3 hours to be seen for a school physical and then got to the back only to wait another hour to be seen for a 5 minute exam the workers were standing around laughing and listening to music in the back while we waited overheard one of the ladies tell another they recommended sucide to a patient and they were all laughing about it I was disgusted
Everyone from front desk, to nurse assistant to doctor were welcoming, kind and knowledgeable. I was able to get in and out quickly. Will use them again when needed.

I came into the clinic as a walk in, the ladies at the front desk were very kind, I was happy to know that the clinic took my Ins. Although there were several patients ahead of me, I felt the wait was not very long. The young lady who took my vital signs introduced herself and she to was very kind. The MD listen to my concerns and assured me if the meds he prescribed, didn’t help me feel better I should do a follow up visit. Most importantly the clinic was open after I got off work and was near my home.
They told me results take up to 3 days. 4 days later I call and they said still no results and that it can take up to 7. On the 6th day I call again and they said they’ll send my results through email. I get the email and it’s blank… I called back they said that means you need to come in. I come in and they said my results aren’t in yet. I said why did you tell me to come in. If they weren’t ready you should’ve checked that. She then calls over another staff to “make sure she was reading it right”. That staff says “yeah only one result is in the other two aren’t”. So not even a minute after I get in my car, they call me and tell me “oh so after you left it looks like your results came in”. You mean to tell me they just came in a minute after I just walked out? No. just lazy and unprofessional and wasting my time. Then they make me pay an additional copay on top of the one I paid when I came last week to get tested. Any other clinics will call or email you with results and send over the prescription to your pharmacy. No clinic makes you come back in to pay to see your results. I will never be back especially to this location. Laziest and most unfriendly staff ever.
Office Manager has the rudest behavior. She condescending, lack professionalism. I go to the one off 55th and polulaski and this the first time a lobby full of people and she standing the back having a fu conversation. I asked her about and she threatened to call the police. I have already call corporate. But will be filling a complaint with Springfield. Sad. She needs retraining

I was very disappointed with service at the Blue Island location. When I arrived it was 2 ladies sitting at front desk. The Manager was sitting at the 1st desk and didn’t bother to speak. The lady sitting closer to the door spoke and took my information. Very unprofessional for a manager NOT to speak. That’s fine moving forward the manager called my name and asked how I was paying for the B-12 lipo shot. I replied by card. I was under the impression that shot was $10. The manger charged me $25. I get called to the back and the tech gave me the shot and I asked when do I come back for another shot. The young lady states 1 month from today. I said oh okay May 20? She says yes. That information was incorrect I found out later that day. I later tell my friend hey I got this b-12 lips shot and it may be good idea. I send her the information she goes TODAY same location and she was charged $10 and told come back in a week. Complete opposite of what I was told. I call up to the office and speak with nice lady names Raven ( I think that was her name) I explain situation and she immediately says no you come back weekly for b-12 lipo shot. And she ask that same manager and I hear the manager yelling in the background you have to show promotion flyerFor the price of $10. I found that odd because my friend knew nothing about the clinic or the shot. She was provided the right information and charged promotion price. I’m very disappointed with the treatment from the manager and the wrong information I was provided. I will NEVER go back to that location and I encourage my friends not to either. Honestly, at this point I’m unsure of what they injected me with seeing as though information was wrong. I can only pray for the best. Also I looked at the Ad on IG and it says nothing about showing promotion at the office to get charged $10. It’s sad how people act and they are managers. It cost nothing to explain promotion. Maybe you all should do some sensitivity training and customer service training. Some people arent meant to be managers.Signed disappointed Patient

I looked up express Clinic and this came up. The Dr. Looked at my cheek and said I have never seen that. She got another Dr. and said ok its an infection. They sent a prescription to a pharmacy and I feel better.

Because of her effective communication skills and proactive approach, my concerns were put at ease and my symptoms started improving within 4 hours of my visit. Got in early go out fast! The staff was nice and friendly. The doctor showed empathy and concern for my granddaughter and I love that. She didnt rush us in and out she went over everything with us and gave us our options but didnt try to push anything on us.

Avoid this place at all cost. I will not be returning again, this used to be my go to. My son and I went in and we each got 2 test done. He has insurance and I don’t. In the back, I was quoted $10 for one test and $15 for the other. I said yes, however my sons insurance covers his, so my out of pocket is $25. When I go upfront, which was also my fault for giving them my card but I was feeling like absolute crap I didn’t even think about it. They charged me $50. Now i call them and they say each test is $25, i get a billing statement and the prices don’t match the “$25 each test they said over the phone” and they put in my chart that I got 3 test done when it was only 2 for each of us. Whenever I call they said that the prices changed but no one knows when. So they realized they charged me for my son when they shouldn’t have, and bumped up the prices on my account so they don’t have to refund me. It’s only $25 but it’s the fact that they are committing fraud since they already received payment from my sons insurance.

I went for a physical and it took less than 30min. You can walk in, no appointment needed, but if you dont want to fill anything in person, just fill it out online. They are nice, they work fast, and they explain everything in detail for you to understand the process😁. It was my first time here, and am definitely coming back to this branch when I need a medical chech-up🙂

This is our first visit to the center. It was a wonderful experience. The doctors and staff were very nice and made us feel comfortable. The Doctor explained the diagnosis and went over the treatments. Very thorough and professional. I would recommend!
I went last night for the first time and was very impressed. Checked in online to save time and things went very quickly once I arrived. Dealt with 4 different people and every one of them was friendly and professional. Mainly dealt with Nicole and she was great. X-rays were done quickly and they sent prescriptions to my pharmacy. Even followed up the next morning with me. Would highly recommend.

My visit today was quite concerning. My acting physician was Jennifer Komada. I went into the office with concerns about some health issues I was currently experiencing, and Nurse Jennifer was very discriminating, dismissive, insensitive, and impatient. I was trying to understand her delivery. However, her body language had me uncomfortable and confused. I wouldnt recommend MEC to any of my friends or family.

I went here on Sunday 1/21 after a slip and fall on ice (1/20 night… I was fine until I woke up to excruciating pain in my knee and lower leg and foot)… the physician (Melinda) on duty sucked! She didn’t take any vitals, she didn’t feel my leg for tenderness or swelling, she just asked what happened, told me to be careful and sent me to the back for X-rays… when I returned she gave a script for ibuprofen and sent me on my way, advising me to ice my leg and elevate it. (I could barely walk, I had to be wheelchaired) I had to ask for an ice pack and crutches. My X-ray was supposed to be ready in 2 hours and she said she would call me… of course she didn’t… I called, and the person who answered was suppose to email them to me. No email. I called back this morning (1/22) and Ciera advised that the doc probably wouldn’t be back to that location, (as I wanted to see why I’m in so much pain, what could the diagnosis be) she followed up with me, and emailed me the X-ray results, but I was still advised to f/u with another physician on duty tomorrow.And of course Melinda didn’t update my chart to include my visit… just terrible.Hopefully (if I return there, the next doc will be better)

The Service is Quick and Fast. Prepared to be charged a co-pay of any service they provides you. Your co-pay may not be billed. Its best to go in their peak hours early morning or early afternoons rather than the evening. Overall The Staff is Friendly and Understanding.
I registered online for the earliest next appointment. It was easy and convenient. When I arrived to the location, all my info had not yet uploaded so I wait a moment. I can excuse the curtness of the receptionist because the rest of the staff was pleasant. However, I later received a call from my emergency contact informing me that they’d received a text from Midwest Express regarding my appointment details. I called the office today to see what numbers were on file, and this same curt woman tells me the emergency contact was the only number on file. I give her my number. After the call, I confirmed that I had received a text to my phone from Midwest Express to complete registration. It doesn’t add up and appears to be a HEPA violation. Now I have to call back because I wasn’t allowed time for follow up questions regarding what information I may have missed.
Exceptional medical care! All staff members are welcoming and caring. Doctor recommended bringing my daughter back in a week so that she could follow up. I really felt relieved because her PCP is not available until July….thank you!

Yes. I went in for pain and stiffness in my neck and shoulder. The provider checked my blood pressure and said, oh this is bad, this is bad. Your blood pressure is very high. You need to go to the ER. I told her my bp normally runs high but she insisted that I go to the ER. She never assessed the pain never touched me other than taking my bp. I left and went to Little Company of Mary Hospital and there were so many people they were standing outside! The wait was 8 hours! Then I went to OSF urgent care and they were closing so I went to Advocate urgent care and they were closed. I am still in pain. Couldnt sleep because of the pain. I made an appointment with my doctor and will see her this afternoon. I think the provider could have at least checked me out, took an X-ray or something.
Midwest Express Clinic is a very professional establishment. The front desk receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Ms Komada is excellent with children, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. She is exceptional and you can tell she cares about her patients. My experience was phenomenal and I highly recommend Midwest Express Clinic for Urgent Care and all your other medical/physical needs and health services.
My nurse practitioner, was super nice. She listened to my concerns and offered really great advice. My wait wasn’t long at all even though she apologized for having me wait. My service at the blue Island office was very friendly and I will definitely go back.
This is my third time using the services offered by Midwest Express Clinic, once for my daughter and twice for me. I did the online appointment and registration, and when I arrived, they had my information which made my in-person registration much more straightforward. The staff was all friendly, and they provided me with service and an excellent level of care. I highly recommend this before sitting in a hospital emergency room to obtain services.

Midwest Express Clinic is a total medical experience worth having. The service and attention to detail, from the medical staff is outstanding. I appreciate the time and efforts to solve my problems and keep me healthy and well.
My experience was really good here. I recommend going. I set my appointment online. Once I arrived it seemed like I only waited 12 to 15 minutes before called. The nurses and staff on duty seemed caring. When one of the staff saw a client limping in, without anyone asking, one of the nurses brought them a wheelchair and escorting them to the back when they were called. It was busy, but the staff handled their customers well in my opinion.
Held a spot online on New Year’s Day, believe me it’s not exactly the place you want to be to ring in the new year but they were so kind. Intake with Evelyn was smooth and she was friendly, calm, and quickly got me into see the APN Anna Koziel was also fast, efficient and listened to my concerns and needs. Even better they helped me find a pharmacy open on New Year’s Day. Thank you for helping me
Made an appointment that same day checked in waited about 10 mins my name got called everyone was professional and nice they check my vitals sat me in the room doc cam in 2 minutes later examined me told me the problem also had me scheduled a follow up appointment this office was great!!! We are all customers no matter what community we are from. The receptionist is the first representation of the business and is a reflection of superiors. When conducting communication he/she should always give eye to eye contact to let the customer feel welcomed to the establishment. This makes the company look good and professional. With that being said, the ratings given are due to the doctor who assisted me that day. She was very caring and concern regarding my visit, although an important medical machine was in-operable. Due to this issue she did not hesitate to send me to another Midwest Express clinic to accommodate...she kept her word to contact me immediately of her findings and for that I am truly grateful for her professionalism and oath she definitely honored 🎖
The sign in process was quick and efficient. There was over 20 people waiting to get in and when the woman at the front desk opened she was pleasant, quick and efficient in registering everyone.The nurse who took vitals was pleasant as well.The attending doctor didn’t make me feel rushed at all and explained things step by step.
I recently left a 5 star review which I just removed. I was seen at the clinic and was helped by the receptionist CiCi and the Dr, Miranda. The first experience was pleasant. I called twice for my results a very UNPROFESSIONAL, DISCOURTEOUS, IMPATIENT receptionist NAMED JESSICA, refused to help me access my results. She first tried to tell me to re-visit the clinic. I’m not doing that when I was instructed to download the app to gain access by the doctor. She cut me Off on several occasions as I explained that I have created a profile to view results, yet there are NON-existent ! She continued to say well there’s nothing I can do, I’m resending you the link to MIDWEST CLINIC. I explained the link is sending me to Quest for results. She then in a matter of fact tone, said those are two different sites. I said that obvious but your link sends me there.I’m explaining, I need the results because I’m in my 2nd trimester, and have concerns before my prenatal appt coming up. She rudely said well I can’t help you.I have 2 QUESTION IS: IS YOUR COMPANY STEALING FROM PATIENTS ? I have insurance and you have not given me the proper services. Where are my results? You’re not going to charge me and you can’t even deliver the prognosis.Secondly, WHO IS TRAINING JESSICA ON ADEQUATE CUSTOMER SUPPORT? Clearly she lacks the necessary tools to USE ACTIVE LISTENING. Which prevents her from resolving issues. I’ve worked in customer service for 10+ yrs. She needs to be fired or properly retrained. I HIGHLY DOUBT THAT WOULD TEACH HER TO LISTEN, or EMPATHY! Hit her pockets. SHE RUINED MY ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. Fire her NOW!
The Blue Island office got us in and out. My daughter was able to get her tests done without a hassle. The practitioner was thorough & patient.

Had a great experience at Midwest Express! This was my first visit here.I felt like I might have the flu and wanted a doctor to evaluate me as soon as possible. I went online, filled out the forms, and booked an appointment for the same day! The facility was clean. The staff was pleasant and professional. They did all the necessary questioning, swabbing, and eyes, ears, nose, and throat check, blood pressure, weight, listened to my breathing, etc. Turns out I had a severe cold. I felt much better just knowing what was going on with me. I would definitely recommend this clinic!

I had a cough,that seemed to be getting worse. Front desk nurse was quick checking me in,honest about the wait time. Dr Jennifer Komada checked me out and put me on some meds. Concerned about my well being. She informed me if I start to get worse come back immediately. I liked the talk and information she gave me.

My second time here and the second time they got it right. I used a doctor on ZOCDOC who diagnosed me with a sinus infection. After 10 days of abx, my ear pain returned. I went here and they flushed my ears and found an infection in both. I felt so much better after having my ears flushed and they also gave me abx ear drops. I haven’t had any ear pain and it’s been a week. They are really great here.
I needed a Covid test and I was the only one there so very promptly received what I needed and was grateful the test was negative. Very nice group working there

I was a little disappointed when I first walked in and the waiting room was filled I left went and ran an errand came back and the waiting room was half-filled moved along very quickly and from seeing the nurse to the attending physician was very quick and they took care of me right away very pleasant experience highly recommend
I was greeted as soon as I walked in gave my name and had a seat. I was called within 5 minutes and got my test done by a very nice young lady sorry I don’t remember her name but she was very helpful with my questions. The nurse practitioner was very nice with explaining my results and information to help me feel better.
My experience at Midwest Express Cinic was absolutely the best medical facility I have ever been to. I was impressed of how well the staff handles everything I can only say without a doubt, that its a great place to be when you need medical care. 😀
I like my experience with us Clinic and the doctor so well im going to start going there as my primary doctor. Because my first experience with the clinic that was the only time in my 67 years of life that I ever saw true concern and a doctors face and she really made me understand about my situation. It was like how when you grew up you always felt the doctor was supposed to care and for some reason she made me feel that she cared I never experienced that people always say its not like it used to be its just a business now but that particular doctor show concern

I have been to this location many times and have never been let down. Everyone starting from the front desk to the doctors and physician assistance are amazing. Everyone is so kind and understanding. There may be a wait but it is definitely worth it. I honestly would prefer coming to this clinic over any other clinic.
I used to give this place a five-star. And so I have the most drastic experience today with my daughter. The manager CiCi and the doctor Jen and their staff was outright disgusting the way they treated me and my daughter today. Based on CiCis personal experience concerning her daughter. She misinterpret the laws and the HIPAA laws from minors. They Lied to my daughter and lied me. Would not provide documentation about the laws they stated. Involved the police and a paramedics and tried to steal my daughter. And got upset when I said I was leaving because I was not required to be there. even tried to steal my son. I wouldnt recommend this place with that stuff to a worst enemy. Mind you their other doctors thats great. But this experience turns my stomach. Build my insurance company for things they never did. And held my daughter hostage.
This is a perfect place to go for any illness or injury that’s not an emergency. The staff is very kind and compassionate. I have always had good experiences coming here! I would recommend for anyone who needs to go to urgent care.
I walked in feeling very sick. I let them know i have asthma & with the mask barely can breathe. The girl by front desk placed me in a room where I was able to take my mask off. It being a busy day I appreciated that. Visit was very thorough and attentive. I will be going back if I’m sick again. Thank you so much .
On Line Check in was easy to follow. My wait wasnt extremely bad. The Nurse Practitioner was Awesome and the Dr Rusnak Was Great. Very Nice Dr Visit. Took very good care of diagnosing me. And soon as I started my meds, symptoms started to get better. 👍👍💞

Very good experience every time I go to Blue Island office clinic, and faster the receptionist are very nice and the nurses and doctors also give you a good service and explain every questions I have.
I was at this place for almost 2 hours and the lady at the front desk let everyone pass before me, and as nurse I think that lady at the front has a very poor customer service. I won’t go back there for sure.

I had ro get some tests done quickly so I went to the Blue Island location. Everyone was really nice and courteous. Tanya, at the front desk greeted me right away and got me checked in immediately.Sophia, the x-ray tech was amazing. She was very professional, courteous and thoughtful. She made sure I was comfortable and explained everything with no issues. I also had the opportunity to observe her interact with another patient at the front desk who was having an issue, and she was able to pivot quickly, find a resolution that worked for all parties and operated in a professional manner. The team at this location is amazing.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. They let me sit in my car while I waited my turn. The wait wasn’t really that long and everyone was polite and treated me with genuine concern. Later that day I was having issues with the pharmacy. I called Midwest and the woman who answered the phone was on it and my prescription was posted within 5 minutes.
The staff was professional very respectful the doctor really listened to my concerns and responded to my care immediately and I was very satisfied with my care I would recommend family and friends to visit the clinic

I started going to Midwest about 6 years ago. It has been nothing but a great experience ever since. I recently started bringing my daughter there for all the things that I would bring her to the urgent aid for. The staff is always so nice, I’ve had to utilize a few different facilities and they’re all great!!!!!!!
Best Healthcare experience hands down! I would have spent hours in am ER (which was my original plan before my sister suggested that I go here). The staff was empathetic and helpful and I felt valued as a patient. My visit was quick and the provider took ample time to assess me and provided meaningful assistance.

The office staff and doctors were EXTREMELY nice and very thorough I did not feel rushed whatsoever. Although there was a little bit of a wait which is to be expected especially during covid. I was in-and-out of there in under 2 hours and I had 2 separate issues that the doctors and staff address and treated.

Whenever my family or I need to see a doctor,when our primary doctor is not available, we always go to Midwest Express clinic. They are very professional and they have good bedside manners. I have always registered online, so my wait time has never been really long at all. That is definitely a plus!

The whole process moves quickly and efficenctly... from front desk to x-ray. The only problem I have is there is no always someone to take x-rays. And the person who reads them is not on site. So sometimes you have to wait for report till next day which isnt good if you have a broken bone. Oh and they tell you they will email referrals or results and it never happens. I always have to go get the paperwork.

It is a great place to get a quick check up, the staff is very polite and if you need any kind of help they are there to help you. Drs. Take care of you as if you were their family. They all have lot of knowledge on their field. Glad to visit them when I am feeling bad.
The lady at the desk was extremely rude to my mother and I. Couldn’t believe her behavior. When others came in she was perfectly nice but with us all we got was attitude. The nurses were much nicer but I’m very disappointed to see this behavior in anyone especially someone im looking towards for help.
3rdI was seen within a very short-time period. Everyone was very polite. The care given was very thorough, quick and efficient. I will definitely return and recommend them to others.
I went in early to beat the rush. And they were pretty fast and helpful. I usually dont like going to bigger clinics because of the waiting times. The medical assistant was very nice and helpful. The doctor was very nice and taken the time to explain my diagnosis.
I’m very dissatisfied with this establishment. I understand we are human and mistakes can happen. It’s how we resolve the issue that matters. I went to Midwest Express Clinic in Blue Island Sunday afternoon for a medical emergency. I was seen by a physician and I was told my prescription would be called in. After calling my pharmacy and no record of the prescription I called Midwest to follow up on the status. They tell me I haven’t been there since 2019. I said I was there yesterday. I described the individuals that helped me and the process from beginning to end. They said oh we have to research and will reach out to the doctor. I find out that they put my information under someone else’s name. I called for a status update and was placed on hold for a long period of time and still no update. I finally reached out to my primary doc to tell them what’s going on and they corrected it right away. The staff at Midwest Express Clinic in Blue Island today were rude and acted like they didn’t care because it wasn’t their error and they were off the day I came in. I was told well it’s going to be a wait because it’s Monday and we’re backed up. I stated that it was unfair to me that I came in for a medical issue the day before and the clinic isn’t taking responsibility for their error in mixing up patients charts. It’s unacceptable that I still haven’t been contacted by anyone from the clinic about my medical issue. This could have ended in a wrong diagnosis or wrong prescription being issued. I even tried calling Heather who I spoke with earlier for a follow up and still haven’t received a call. I will be contacting the attorney general.
It was an excellent 1st time patient experience. The Dr was very polite and understanding of my health issues and explained all the diagnosis very well. In fact some Drs prior to going to this appointment diagnosed a few illnesses and in fact didnt even tell me I had 2 of the illnesses that were causing me a way bigger health issue, and if not for the Midwest clinic I may not have been alive so I am absolutely grateful and would recommend it to anyone. Thank you so much!!!

I was there for the first time , and I really though it was going to be a long day , i did evrything on line to save time the wait was Minimal. this was a great experience outside my own Dr. Now I know when my Dr cant see me were to go. I give this place a 5 🌟.
Overall experience was good. My Groupon was for B-12 shots. The service was fast and on point with appointment time. I did not feel a thing with my injection. Nurse was very smooth. The only thing I would recommend is being more informative on the process of what is a B-12 shot, what does it consist of it, how does it work, is there side effects, etc. Reading the information on Google is great but confirming on actual facts is so much better. Especially being the first time getting them.Once I asked the questions she was informative.

I Was Very impressed because the customer service was great and quick. With my B12 injection I just do walk in. This wasnt where I usually go it was easy.
I was told on November 24th come back in 2 weeks I would only have to pay $40 I just left it’s Dec. 8th they wanted to charge me $125 cause it’s been 15 days instead of 14 they counted the day of my first visit feel like they was just trying to get over very dissatisfied never going back 👎🏾
They got me in a room within the hour, and the doctor who saw me was so sweet and kind and so thorough! Way better experience than I thought it’d be. Fair warning- their waiting room is small and for social distancing reasons many people had to wait outside/in their cars.
This is an excellent clinic ,came as have a severe pneumonia and was treated right away by Nurse practitioner Jennifer Komada very professional, well dedicated about my health and gave me the attention and medication needed for my illness ; so as far as the front staff and nurses are so wonderful and care for me and my dad with all patience.Definitely will recommend this Midwest Express Clinic to my friends and family and wish this clinic should be the CLINIC MODEL to other CLINICS/ PHYSICIANSthat dont care about their patients just about their money.Thank you very much.Any questions reach me out ang gladly will help you.
The NP Shawna was sooo amazing 😻 and personable she had impeccable bedside manner. She used time efficiently yet I did not feel rushed at all. She answered off topic questions I had about my own NP schooling and seemed genuinely interested. Such an upbeat, warm, and refreshing personality. Go here ! It was my first time at the clinic. Everyone was very pleasant and efficient. I was in and out within a hour. I was able to pick up my prescriptions within another hour. I surely hope i wont need to come back but wouldnt hesitate if i needed to.
I called in the morning and was relieved to find out that I could come in that same day. When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly staff member who gave me the necessary paperwork to fill out - it was a simple and quick process. My wait wasnt long before I was able to see a medical staff member who was friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, and thorough with my examination, an explanation of what I was suffering from, and how it would be treated. The reception area and the rest of the facility was very clean. I was extremely satisfied with my experience as a whole.

I went for a covid test they also did a flu test both negative but they took my BP is was high...took it again up a couple of points the doctor came in the exam room did more vital exams checked BP again bottom number had dropped to normal range but top was still high also checked my ears saw fluid in right ear. She went way beyond the covid tests. .She was really concerned and did not rush took time to listen to me...gave me instructions to get BP down and scheduled follow up visit for next Monday.. thank you for caring.
I went for a covid test, my first time at this clinic. Although fully vaccinated, I was having cold-like symptoms and wanted to be sure I wouldnt unknowingly pass along the virus at a wedding the next day. The staff was so friendly, thorough, and thoughtful - even late on a Friday! I hope I dont need to go again, but I wouldnt hesitate to if needed.
This was my second visit to the clinic. My first experience was not good at all; I decided to return. The service was a complete 100% turnaround! The doctor & other staff were great! They were considerate, kind and had a genuine interest in my well being. I will definitely use the clinic time & time again.
The location in Blue Island has the friendliest girls there! Very helpful and they get people in and out pretty quickly. The Nurse Practitioners there are very knowledgeable and kind.

This clinic is very professional and has fast service. The facility is clean, the staff is polite and knowledgeable. Most importantly the prices of services are very fair and less expensive than other places. They have various locations so you can always find one close to you. I went for a Tb test which is only 45 dollars here and was prices for 60 and higher at other places. I also went here for a work physical which was 60 dollars and other places I called had it for 85 dollars and higher.

I waited in the lobby for 30 minutes because the receptionist Luci didn’t tell me that they had an old insurance card on file. I don’t appreciate no one communicating this with me. The medical assistant I had was very helpful and made my visit a better experience.

I brought my son back to have his staples removed and I am very unsatisfied with my experience this time. I understand that wait times may be increased due to various reasons but that needs to be communicated. When we arrived at 2pm I was told that the wait time for a walk-in was 40-45 minutes. My son wasn’t seen until 4:43pm. Had the very lengthy wait time been discussed with me when we arrived I would’ve have made other arrangements. The service is fine once they see you, but this lack of communication was incredibly inconvenient and unprofessional.
Staff is always very friendly and the doctors are even more incredible! Every visit is quick and efficient, have had to bring my young child here several times, thanks for everything!
Tech who checked my mothers vitals gave us a warning that she needed to be in a hospital. The extra care of taking it (6) times truly was appreciated. Mom spent two days in hospital with fluctuating blood pressure, before it was stabilized. Thank you!!
Doctors are very nice, however it is a huge inconvenience having to schedule your own time slot, upload your own ID & insurance instead of calling & having the front staff do it. Reminds me of Walmart self check out except your checking yourself in. Especially elderly people or people with disabilities huge inconvenience. Not everyone is mobile phone or computer savy.
It is a great place to go to get everything done in one place. The people were very pleasant and the doctors were very respectful. When I took my granddaughter 2 years ago, I got the same experience. That is the reason for my return. I would recommend this place.

Yes, there was a substantial wait, but EVERYWHERE is understaffed.For your staff to remain patient and friendly is something that you should be proud of. I came in for your special ($25 phisicals) I am uninsured and with the closure of the Worth township clinic, I was at a loss!! I am a mother of 5 and my children have been getting immunizations and physicals at the township for over 20 years. Imagine my surprise when I arrived at the Township to find them closed indefinitely.I didnt even have copies of my childrens immunizations. Your staff was friendly and efficient. The patients were lined up outside and seeking comfort in their cars. My sons and I were part of the overwhelming amount of patients.I feel that I am rambling.... in short~cudos to your amazing friendly staff for making it possible for one of my sons to start H.S. , and the other to resume his objective to play sports this year.
