Access Blue Island Family Health Center

I had a great experience at Access in Blue Island. Dr. Roseline was extremely professional and informative throughout my visit. She took the time to thoroughly explain everything and answer all my questions, which made me feel comfortable and well-cared for. The staff was friendly and the clinic was clean and organized. I highly recommend Access for anyone looking for quality healthcare with a personal touch.

A lot of waiting, both in the waiting room and appointment room. Even trying to set up an appointment is a hassle since I had to wait over 90 days for a next available appointment just for it to be rescheduled twice. Ive also had issues in the past with scheduling being mislabeled and having to come back a different day, wasting everyones time, money, and energy. I love Kim because she actually listens and seems to care a lot, she was able to help me set up numerous well-needed appointments and was able to prescribe medicine I really needed.

I Had a doctor appointment with Dr.Kahn today. It was very good , she asked me a bunch of important questions and answered so many questions that I needed answers to . She completely gave me peice of mind I’ll definitely recommend her 10/10 I love doctors that listen to their patients . This was a follow up appointment to my test results . Last time when I went in a receptionist was very nice and compassionate when I went in . I believe her name was Gaby Rodriguez. Awesome experience in a long time at any doctors office for me I’m definitely looking forward to continue using this clinic :)

The WORST doctor’s office EVER!!!!!!!I’d give negative stars if I could.You want to wait months/close to a year for an appointment, get attitude from the front desk ladies, RARELY be able to through to the actual clinic/front desk when calling, & no returned calls, then this is the clinic for you!It is like pulling teeth trying to get anything done at this clinic! Super unprofessional & unorganized!& if you have an urgent issue … forget it! Emergency room it is.

Dr. O is a wonderful doctor and actually cares about her patients. The nurses are also great, especially Jessica who no matter what time day or night is there to hear my problems and quickly get me into the right direction for my health needs HUGE THANK YOU TO JESSICA FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR ME YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST !

Unsatisfied with this clinic daughter had a 9:40 appointment. Trying to call them to them to let know was running little late.they tell me that they call me to let me know that my daughter appointment was canceled. Because the doctor was out sick. Which that was a lie because I didnt get no phone call my voicemail. They want us patience to call the call center if you want to speak to any of the front desk staff instead of going straight to them.which its a waste of time. So I well be looking for a different client. Because I been having to many problems with them. They need to close them down ...

Ms. Zoller was very nice and helpful. Always seems to be looking out for the patients best interest.Ms. Florencia López was also tremendous help in getting some discounts on my medical expenses!I didn’t get the name of the lady who did my bloodwork but she was also very pleasant, as well as quick and precise with the needle.

Ive Had Them As My PCP For 6yrs. Anytime I try to make an appointment its 2/4 weeks out. Which is Fine For A Regular Check Up. But My Daughter Had Strep Throat So Bad The Pus Pockets In Her Throat Were Black & Bleeding. I Cslled & They Said 2 wks. By Then She Either Not Have It Anymore or Dead. I Had To Take Her To The Er On 2 different Buses When This Clinic Is 2 Blocks Away. They Tried Telling Me That Had No Sick or Emergency Visits Ever Available. Only Im A MA & Was A Patient Scheduler At A Previous Job So I Know For A Fact They Have Those Available EveryDay. They Just Dont Seem To Care About Their Patients. So I Now Go Else Where To Where They Always Have Available For Any & All Patients. Absolutely DisHearting

The facility is VERY CLEAN! Staff is warm and welcoming. Florencia and Daja were very helpful and pleasant. Great customer service!!!

I have been going here for sometime now an my Roseline my NP and Rosa my MA has always been kind to my and all my kids They are super awesome and definitely care about our medical concerns as well as the front desk. Amazing place to bring your health needs to.

My doctor Patricia zoller and her nurse Emelia are great at what they do I thank God for them they are very helpful they listen and take their time I would recommend anybody to family Access Blue Island clinic...🙏🙏🌹

Worse place to go. They charged me for a service shouldn’t have been charged for and getting a refund is a nightmare. Don’t waste your time and money and go somewhere else

Dr.Hazel at the blue Island location is amazing she took great care of me her and her Assistant Lewis. I truly enjoyed them.

I have been coming here probably since they opened years back. The change they have made is probably one of the best decisions. My doctors are amazing.My concerns are taken care of and answered. They go above and beyond to help with your needs. I’m glad I stayed. Thank you 🙏🏼

I am so grateful to have Dr Khanal as our pediatrician I trust her advice one hundred percent. Everyone at the office are so nice! Especially her assistant Jessenia, my kids love her. She is so sweet. She makes them feel so comfortable that even when shot are necessary my kids are ok. We can feel her warm and desire to make their experience enjoyable. As a mom I feel so realived knowing my kids will be treated with respect and compassion so much that when is time to go to the clinic they get exited. I can also say that when I had had to call for questions or emergency consultation Jessenia always makes sure we are taking care of asp. That is something that as mom I really value. Overall I feel so lucky to have Dr Khanal and Jessenia on my corner. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for providing such a great care to my kids.

First of all I have to say I was so excited to the medical assistant. Emili. She is so awesome and great to talk to and very informative. I miss her not working with Dr.Tucco anymore. But I did meet Dr. Zoller today for the first time and I really liked her. All in all I think Access is definitely worth coming too. Oh and cant forget Dr. Tucco shes an amazing Dr. I always look forward to seeing them all. Love you Access. Keep up the good work!

Tried calling the front desk yesterday to discuss my blood work, they told me to call back tomorrow since they were going to close soon. Tried calling 3 times and no answer :((!!

The receptionist and doctors are very polite and enjoy aiding patients with their appointments and needs. I definitely recommend this location for everyone in the area.

I didnt have a completely awful experience here but it was definitely not the care I imagined during my first pregnancy. Dr O and her staff did not seem to be on the same page ever. They shamed me for being only a couple minutes late. Very dismissive with all of my questions and not very informative when she did finally answer my questions. All of my prenatal tests I needed seemed to be given late. I had to really push to get the care I wanted. I called with concerns as well and they told me they would give me a call back and never did and would only answer questions thriugh their messaging service online. Definitely do not reccomend. It is worth the wait to get on a different doctors schedule at another facility for sure.

WHY DOES NOBODY ANSWER THE PHONE AT A MEDICAL CENTER???????????????????? YOU DONT EVEN GET VOICE MAIL!!!!!!!!!!!! IT JUST RINGS AND RINGS UNTIL IT DISCONNECTS!

Professional staff, warm reception, and compassionate care. I have been coming to this office to see Dr. Tanksley for two years. She is knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind. She is the best Primary Care Doctor I ever had. Thanks for the great service you provide each and every day.

This clinic is a joke you cant get a doctor appointment In a timely fashion you have to wait months until you are able to see the doctor. I been having headaches and numbness of hands and I went to make an appointment the earliest they can get me in is in mid september.its July why do I have to wait 2 months to be seen? Ridiculous.

This place is horrible I’m planning on pressing charges on them for a miscarriage I was literally 10 weeks pregnant and I had a uti and told the doctor I believe i had it for months and didn’t prescribe me any antibiotics didn’t even examine me or anything just sent me on my way within a couple weeks later I had a miscarriage and really bad uti infection and I think that what cause my miscarriage from a untreated uti now I have a baby girl when I was pregnant with her I went to another clinic and my Experience was most definitely different from them I was examined and prescribed medicine and was very informative with my pregnancy this place is horrible if your pregnant run and I’m not the first person to complain about their care with pregnancy

I brought my mother in after an insurance change and I have to say I am very impressed!!! The medical staff is amazing here! Very compassionate doctors! Dr. Roslin is very attentive and explains everything and goes into detail with my questions. The lab tech was able to draw my moms blood with ease also. The guy nurse that helped her out was very patient and attractive too on a side note lol. I usually dont leave reviews but my experience at this medical center was outstanding! Would recommend this clinic!

Currently pregnant and I need an emergency root canal done. I’ve been in pain for almost 48 hours now and by being pregnant I’m very limited on how I can control the pain. I was able to go to an emergency dentist and he was going to perform the root canal but by me being pregnant they needed my doctor to fax over a clearance stating that I can have the procedure done. I called the office several time and they stated my doctor was not available until mon I called Friday but I’ve been in pain since Thursday..Now mind you with me being in extreme pain i can’t eat sleep my baby is now not getting the proper nutrition. I’ve had to call off work due to the pain and mind you I still am not able to get the root canal done and now have to schedule another appt when I was literally in the chair and the dentist was willing to perform. I said all this to say they don’t care about their patients. I find it ridiculous that there is not an on call doctor for situations like this. The front desk page my doctor numerous of time and I have yet to hear back from anyone.. if you care about your health do not go to this place all they care about is getting you in and out.

The doctors and nurses here are GREAT! The best doctors Ive ever had and By far one of the best clinics Ive been too, I feel comfortable and secure with my doctors and nurses they focus on you and they care, the only downfall for me is not all of their receptionists are nice some have attitudes but not all ! &d the waiting time sometimes but thats as any doctors office would be overall I love it here and I love my doctors !!

Doctors are great. Nurses are awesome.Receptionists seem to hate their job and are usually very rude. Always short answers and if you ask a question they usually roll their eyes before answering. And if you ever have an issue they act like its not their problem and answer with a sorry for ya attitude.

I disagree completely with the first reviewer.I have not met any one at this clinic with a bad attitude. And I have met quite a few there.You may have to wait a bit -as at any clinic- but when its your turn the focus is on you. Cant get much better than that!

Ive been going here since I was 10 and Im 22 I bring my daughter here now and I still come as well. The workers are understanding and the doctors are nice and do their job very well. I moved away but still come to this clinic because it is a family clinic for me, my mom daughter n her father. I love it

Hi there everyone from my point of view if ur new patient and u dont arrive 20 minutes before cuz u do need to fill out paper work and they have to verify insurance due to short funded thru the state. And some insurances have a co pay and arrive 6 minutes after appointment yes u will have to reschedule. Walk in is done at 7:45 am. I have been seen 2 minutes after I arrive for my appointment and they are not rude and my provider attends to my needs. I know if I dont have an appointment they do tell me they dont guaranty I be seen right away I have to wait til someone doesnt show for their appointment and that could be 2 hrs. But o well if its urgent I stay. Well best of luck and hope that some can agree.

Dr. Prebaker is a great physican! I really dont understand many of these bad reviews. The nurses here are very helpful, the receptionists are very friendly from my experience and my doctor is very knowledgeable. My referrals are always sent by mail and I have not had any issue as of yet. 5 stars in my opinion.

Never had no major problems with the doctors for as long as I have been going here, since 2012. Untill now. My primary is Michelle toney. She has no real compassion for her patients. When I first made an appointment with her, over I think 2 years now, it took forever to see her. And I still remember her saying to a nurse in the hallway, while I was waiting in a room, why is she her? Really? And any other appointments I made with her, following, sometimes would be cancelled. I remremem at least 2x i had to reschedule in 3 week period. So, recently, i haven been up to date with my labs and other things. I know my health is the way it is bc of what I do and dont do. so with that being said, I go a while ago to see her and she comes off as rude to me. And tells me if im not taking care of myself why I am here? Really? So I seen a different doctor today, and over heard toney say again to the other doctor, the same thing, if shes not taking care of herself, why is she here. I dont appreciate what she said, and I really feel like she does not care what so ever. Im trying to get back on track with my health, but it doesnt help if I have to see someone whos, in a hurry to come and go, and can seem to care less about what is going on with her patients.

Do not go to this clinic, its the worse in blue Island. I wouldnt have given them 1 star if it had been up to me. Whatever you do, dont schedule with The NP Michelle Tony. Shes only there for a check and nothing more. Shes very rude, inattentive and is absolutely useless. I went in for neck pain, She never examined me, the only thing she told me was she couldnt do anything and told me to go to the E.R....after I waited 3 days to see her. I asked if she was going to call over to the hospital so theyll have a room ready for me, She told me she couldnt do that, which means I wouldve had to wait maybe 2-3 hours before getting a room. My previous Dr (whos now retired) OR a NP at his office wouldve NEVER told me to go to the E.R without trying to find a solution themselves for me first! This was maybe her 2nd or 3rd time doing that. I dont know what her purpose is for even being there. Hopefully something is done about that because shes an huge inconvenience.

I’d give them less than 1 star if I was able to. They don’t answer their phones, if they do- you’re on hold for 30 minutes. Dr does not call you back the same day. And the office is dirty. Transferring my son to a new pediatrician.

Long wait for appointments. Was called back for test results told by doctor to come in within 2 weeks and was unable to make an appointment for 4 weeks. Lots of issues trying to get referrals as well. Had a mamogram and needed three breast biopsies. The staff was useless, unhelpful and uncaring. Without the help from the staff at Little Company of Mary Hospital they were sble to secure it for me. This is no better than a free clinic.

Nurse Janet is awesome! She goes over and beyond what is expected of her. She makes herself available if for any reason I have questions. I wish all nurses were as kind and sweet as her!

Got sent here for the first time since my regular doctor was booked. Saw many bad reviews about Dr toney waiting in the office but figured she deserves a shot. Seemed ok when I first met her but when I told her what I was there for (asthma/bronchitis) she put a stethoscope to my lungs for 2 seconds and said there was nothing she could do for me. I had just come from CVS clinic and they felt I needed to see a Dr to get proper meds. She told me I needed to go to the ER. Said I needed some special thing I never heard of. When I asked her what this thing was she said they will tell you at the hospital. She could have easily looked up my records since my doctor works in the same group. When I arrived at the hospital and told them the thing I needed they had no clue what the hell she was talking about. I spent 10 hours at the hospital and all I needed was a breathing treatment. She could have done that at the office. I cant believe I wasted money on a copay for no check up and bad advise. I am livid. I did not receive any service. What a waste of time and gas. I may fight paying the copay since no service was received. Dont go there. Just go straight to hospital. Youre better off

Drop off paper work to be fill out only be told I need to see a doctor they set me up with a lady name Tony Michelle which is very rude she call me the day of the appointment and ask why I was coming in which its clearly right in front of her why. Told me she dont fill out disalibty paper or read pap smears result that was done in July of this year. They are not professionally at all dont waste your time here.

Ladies, do not see Dr. O as your Obgyn. Shes money hungry. I find it strange how a doctor can be so persistent on prescribing her patient medicine for something youre not even sure I have. How can you diagnose a person for having something that you havent seen the test results for. Im so glad that I listened to my intuition and never picked up the prescription because my results were negative. It all started w/ me asking her a simple question regarding my body and she used that as a reason to lie to me and tell me that I had something going on. F.Y.I Doctors get paid big bucks for writing their patients prescriptions which explains why she was adamant about it. Anyways, if I come back to this facility I will be seeing someone different.

Piss poor customer service by the front desk personnel. They lack friendliness, helpfulness and compassion. Interactions with them on several occasions have prompted me to change doctors. I will no longer be a patent at this office.

There service is beyond AWFUL.. we made an appt months ago for my daughter and the day of they tells me she needs a consultation, before any services which they could of stated that in my 1st initial appt.. so it inconvenience me of taking time off work and etc..

Customer se is very poor, my oldest son goes here and Im trying to call in and set an appointment for my youngest. Whenever the phone is answered it is by someone who speaks Spanish. When I try to ask a question or for English Im just transferred back to the automatic system and my call drops. After the 4th call I asked for a manager and the same thing. Very rude, and disrespectful

I wish there was a rating scale for this office I would definitely place them in the negative. The staff is operating with a huge lack of compassion. Its almost as if non of them are happy. Stay away.

This clinic is poorly run. I feel bad for whoever got stuck with this stupid clinic. I wouldnt even give it ONE star. All the workers there have an ugly ass attitude that just makes your skin crawl and ruins your day.

Dr.O has been my OB since I was pregnant (3.5 years ago) and I’m never disappointed

I recommend Dr O. I just love her. She was my Dr my whole pregnancy and I never had any problems.

Due any day now still cant get through when i need to and still messing up my damn refferal for my ultrasound. If anything is wrong with my baby i wouldnt even know. If i could go somewhere else i would. Pathetic

YOU CAN CALL IN ADVANCE LETTING THEM KNOW YOUR GOING TO BE LATE AND THEY STILL WONT TAKE YOU WHEN YOU GET THERE. THEY NEVER HAVE WALK INS AVAILABLE, YOU COULD BE HAVING A HERPES OUT BREAK AND THEY STILL WON TAKE YOU! IVE HAD SO MANY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH HIS CLINIC ITS TERRIBLE! I WOULDNT NEVER TELL ANYONE TO GO THERE!

I had a over the phone appointment, they never called me and when I call in to see whats going on they claimed they called but I got proof they never called. Also they hung up on my twice for no reason. Unprofessional

The girl that draws blood has a bad mood and burised my baby arm and the people that give the shots leave a lump on my baby legs worst place ever.

Jessenia is always very friendly, respectful, I can ask her any question, and Doctor Khanal is very good at caring for my children and I feel confident.

Jesse is the personal nurse for all my children and Dr. Khanal, as always, provides good service and listening, and Jesse always puts me in the first option to care for my children.
