Dr. Atlas is the absolute BEST MFM!! We traveled over 2.5 hours round trip to come see him for our high risk pregnancy, and though they were long car rides every other week, it was absolutely worth it to receive the care that we did. Thanks to Dr. Atlas and his team, we now have our beautiful 3.5 month old daughter! Dr. Atlas is so thoughtful and compassionate and made sure we were comfortable, both physically and emotionally, throughout the whole pregnancy. We had a previous loss making the second trimester onwards a little tricky but we made it through with his help. From emergency visits due to hitting a deer, midnight calls for blood pressure issues, he took care of me through it all. On top of all that, his team is fabulous too! Malissa, Heather and Helaine — thank you to you guys too for answering all 10000 of my questions at all hours of the day!We will be back when we’re ready for our next little to be on the way!

I met Dr Atlas when my sister was his patient for high risk pregnancy. I accompanied her for every visit and got to meet the whole team. Malissa and Dr Atlas are by far the best team and provided exemplary care and service for my sister. For someone who is head of his department and with such a busy schedule, Dr Atlas gave us all the time we needed to answer questions and address concerns. He never rushed us! So naturally when I became pregnant, I consulted with him and Malissa. Ultimately I was not a high risk patient and wanted a female gynecologist for person reasons so I switched doctors but stayed with his hospital. My doctor wasn’t available immediately the day before my birth and in a panic I called Dr. Atlas at 4am. Not only did he call back right away, he helped calm my nerves and gave me all the time to answer my questions. Malissa was super compassionate and knowledgeable and followed up with me through my birth and after AND THEY WERENT MY DOCTORS. I cannot put into words how amazing this team is and how thankful I am to have them in my corner. Thank you for everything!

I have never been under a more competent and empathetic doctor as Dr. Atlas. I was referred to him by someone who had experienced a similar second trimester loss in pregnancy. I could not fathom giving up, but I knew I needed the best care to ensure a successful pregnancy outcome. I believe with the help of God, Dr. Atlas was an amazing caregiver from the day I met him. He always comforted my fears and assured me that he would do his best to take care of me and my unborn child. On my sons first birthday, I took him to meet the doctor who was responsible for ensuring his safe arrival into this world. Dr. Atlas, along with his team, and specific nurse- Malissa are highly professional and they take the time to hear your concerns, answers your questions, and help you find ease during your pregnancy. He is my go-to obstetrician.

Dr. Atlas and Malissa Da Graca are absolutely amazing! They took me on as a patient and saw me through my entire pregnancy. There was never a moment where I felt like they didnt have my or my sons best interest at heart. They were kind, caring, professional, educated, and very thorough. I am forever grateful to them for the top notch care I received.

Dr. Atlas is the best! He is caring, empathetic, and extremely knowledgeable. As a high-risk patient, I had moments of fear and anxiety during my pregnancy, but Dr. Atlas always addressed my concerns, answered all my questions and made me feel at ease; he never acted like he was in a hurry or rushed to get to the next patient. His staff are also friendly and efficient. I recommend Dr. Atlas to anyone looking for an MFM.

Dr. Atlas is the single best doctor I have ever been under the care of. Impeccable bedside manner, incredibly in tune with the complex emotional needs of patients who have experienced perinatal loss, truly cares about the health of both the mother and the baby. I attribute the successful outcome of my second pregnancy to his compassionate, thorough care. He was well worth the weekly 2+ hour drive (each way) from Southern Maryland - Id 100% choose to be under his care again if we are ever blessed with another pregnancy. I have recommended him to numerous other mothers who suffer from the same pregnancy complication that ended the life of my firstborn; we all think the world of him!

Dr. Atlas was the most amazing doctor I have ever encountered. He made sure to listen to me and then give sound advice. He explained everything in detail, the Great, the good, the bad and the ugly. He is thorough and his bedside manner is unmatched. He helped me get to viability and surpass it with my now 10 month old. There needs to be hundreds more Dr. Atlas in the world.

Dr. Atlas and his team are a rare find. My first consult with him, he took his time to explain everything to me, we went over every detail, and he address my angel baby not just a loss but as a person, by her name. He discovered certain things that attributed to my loss that none of the other OBS warned me about. Being currently pregnant I know I have made the right decision and feel safe in his hands. Knowing that he has a plan for any and every situation whether it be good or bad. He is caring and listens to all of your questions and concerns and addresses you with the same level of care and compassion. I highly recommend Dr. Atlas and his team to any and everyone.

Dr Atlas is one of the best Drs Ive ever met in my life. He truly cares for his patients. I have a very complex case and a history of a previous late term loss. I went to many consults around the DMV area and many other Drs were not even willing to listen to me. However, Dr Atlas and his team (Malissa) showed compassion and truly cared about me as a patient. He has great bedside manners and takes his time to truly listen to you, explain everything, and come up with solutions as good Drs should. If I did not live so far, I would choose him as my MFM in a heartbeat.

I am sooo happy and grateful to have met Dr. Atlas and Malissa! I am a recurrent loss patient without a live birth yet. I have been on this journey for 3.5 years and it has been awful. Ive seen doctor after doctor, most of whom did not listen or make me feel heard. I usually end up sobbing and feeling defeated after appts. Dr. Atlas and Malissa made me feel so comfortable and actually listened to me. We came up with a plan that I am very comfortable with. I finally have hope that I will have a live birth under their care.

Dr Atlas met with me and my husband after I was already pregnant. After hearing my history (2 losses second trimester and 1 “failed” McDonald cerclage. I say “failed” because my daughter came at 28 weeks and she is perfect now) he agreed to do an open TAC when I hit 12 weeks. After my TAC he wanted to see me every few weeks but to ease my mind I asked if I could be seen every week and he agreed that was fine. I made it to 30 weeks with my TAC- only because my son kept dropping his heart not because my TAC failed. Before meeting or even knowing of him my husband and I liked the name Atlas as a first or middle name and after meeting with him it kind of sealed the deal. Benjamin Atlas is my son :). Dr Atlas and Malissa were great since day one!

This incompetent Dr. Atlas may seem knowledgeable on the outside but is extremely smug and made my wife and I so uncomfortable. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Dr especially if you’re first time parents. Him and his team are heartless and are cold and will do and say anything to collect money no matter where it comes from whether it’s from insurance or your pocket. He gives the medical field a terrible reputation.

Words could not begin to express my thanks to Dr. Atlas not only did he perform a TAC while I was two months pregnant with my twins that allowed me to carry them till they were ready to come out but as my OBGYN he took such good care of me and my twins I could call him anytime he even indulge my need to come in once a week just to make sure that they were OK if you are looking for a compassionate supportive knowledgeable doctor with years of experience he’s definitely the doctor for you he’s charming and funny and straight to the point I work at a hospital and I have never meet a doctor Who cares so much about his patients and their families. Me and my wife will forever be grateful for the care he provided us I got to bring home my rainbow babies because of the world class medical interventions he provided for me . He took a whole heath approach in my medical care.# TAC/LGBT/TWINS/VETERAN

I would NEVER EVER recommend this doctor to anyone him or his office! He can rot in hell him in his team. They are very disrespectful. Scams. Hurtful and no remorse for humanity. Please stay far away from this office him and his fake medical team! When he approach you he begin his speech as in “This is the come to Jesus meeting” what type of gothic person are you. There are plenty more specialized doctors in the field. He recommend you to do things before diagnosis medically even when you don’t have a “medical condition” a huge, nasty, disrespectful scam. Be aware.
