NextCare Urgent Care Abilene

Our visit was great. The front office was fast at check-in process. I would suggest maybe turning the lights on over the triage area. So you can examine the patient during intake. Hard to see complaints a patient has in the dark. Plus, elderly patients have a difficult time seeing and could possibly fall. Our Nurse Practitioner was great , JASMIN is the best. Overall it was a good experience.

Ill definitely be returning to this place. I didnt have an appointment, but they saw me relatively quickly. The nurse was very nice, and thorough. Best of all, I didnt have to haggle, explain my insurance, or anything. Paid my copay and wasnt hassled for a penny more.

The NP that we seen yesterday for my infant grandson‘s visit was completely unprofessional and rude. She treated my son-in-law poorly because he wasn’t able to hold the baby in a position. She wanted him to be held to look at his ears. She literally only looked inside his one ear acted as if she looked in his nose, but there was no way she could’ve seen inside his nose from the way, she was standing. Then she looks at his throat proceeds to tell me that she thinks it’s something viral and prescribes an antibiotic. We received a probably 5 to 10 minute lecture about how I smoke outside. I finally asked her. Do you think that’s why he’s sick is because I smoke outside that’s when she proceeded to tell me that no it’s something viral. She had absolutely no bedside manners. I truly believe that she was being judgmental toward my daughter and her boyfriend because they are young parents. It is not her place to give us a lecture about how I as the grandmother smoke outside my home or to judge them. I just wanted to ask her are you going to actually look over the baby or just judge us and lecture us. Every sentence that he has she seemed to ignore. He spit up in the office and we told her he never spits up. She says well that looked like milk that he spit up, which obviously that’s all he drinks his milk, but just because he spit up some milk doesn’t mean that he has not been eating less she acted as if we lied about it. Also, when we told her that he has been very fussy and crying for two days, she looks at us like we’re crazy and says well. He looks pretty happy right now. She was just so rude!!! We left there unhappy all around. She is there to check the patients out and to identify any health issue going on in that moment not do what she did.

Im from out of town and was pleased when I found a Baylor Scott & White facility. I go to other physicians in the Baylor Scott & White system so online check-in was very easy. All of my insurance and personal documents were already uploaded into the system. I was able to get checked in at the office in 2 minutes and was back seeing the doctor in 5 minutes the total time of being in the office and leaving the facility was a total of 21 minutes. The care was very precise and thorough. I am feeling much better one day after my visit with correct medications to treat my sinus infection.

The nurse was the sweetest person ever and the doctor was very caring! They did a great job and very quick! Couldn’t have asked for better. Will always be my favorite urgent care!

Was sitting in the waiting room for over an hour. When they finally did take me back I sat in the exam room for over half an hour waiting for the doctor because they apparently only had 1 doctor. The diagnosis was easy, and fast but I cant help but think had I gotten seen earlier for the ear infection then my ear drum wouldnt be ruptured as it didnt start leaking fluids until I had been sitting in the exam room for 15 min after the hour in tue waiting room.

We had the absolute best experience! From the front office staff, the medical assistant, to the physician we saw, all were exceptionally kind and comforting. Our wait time was not long at all and all of our needs were addressed in one visit! This will now be me and my families go-to clinic!

We walked in with our 2 year old son without a scheduled appointment and the front office staff were gracious in helping me get everything set up! Our wait was very short in the very clean lobby. The nurse was fantastic with our boy and the doctor was very helpful! Both the front and back staff took great care of us and even made sure our boy had a good time and was spoiled with candy and stickers during his sick visit.

My 21 year old daughter went there for an upper respiration infection. She arrived at 7. ( they closed at 8) She was told that they were not currently taking walk ins. She left and called me. I got online and made an appointment, so she went back. The thing that irritates me is that the receptionist on the left side was soo rude. She was on her phone on a personal call and seemed annoyed at having to do her job. The good news is that everyone else was nice and they got her medicine.

Checked in online at 4pm on NYD and was about the 10th person seen two hours later. No script no meds no shots just a negative Covid test… called back twice for meds and it’s now 1/3 and they have not cared to call back.

It was a good experience. They tested me for all kinds of things, gave me a shot and then 3 meds. I’m still feeling poorly but it has been only 24 hrs and I just received my meds from the pharmacy today.. I’m hoping everything works out for the best. Trying to stay I. Good sports.I recommend going to this clinic in a pinch especially if you do t want the wait at the ER.The nurses and doctor were very understanding

The ladies were kind and informative. Besides the 2 hour time frame, everything went well. My daughter and I were comfortable there and well taken care of.

All your employees are very professional and to be frank with you, FNP Oksana is the best nurse I have ever met in my life. I came in feeling so down but she was so compassionate and reassured me that I was going to be fine. I left there feeling a lot better when I had not yet taken any medication. Nursing is truly her calling.

I really appreciated how smooth our experience was this visit for my kiddo who wasnt horribly sick but wanted to make sure we headed it off (strep). Check in was a breeze ahead of time online. Admin was friendly, vitals nurse was pleasant, and dr was understanding and even though test came back negative she visually saw signs of it heading in that direction and got meds ordered including cough medicine (not for cough as she didnt have one) for the drainage and soreness of throat to aid in relief for that which I appreciated. I more so am happy to know this is a God focused company with a heart for healing and will continue to use this walk-in when needed to help support them as I can.

Staff is ALWAYS kind and helpful. They spend a good amount of time talking with you to make sure they understand whats going on and what they can do to help. Ive also never waited more than 15 minutes to see someone which is not common for most places

I was tired after work and felt so sick. I was treated very kindly from the front desk, the nurse, and physician. I’m very grateful for their warm personalities and kindness. If/when I’m sick again I’ll absolutely be back. Thanks again!

The staff were very friendly and efficient. Took care of my needs because I wasnt able to get in to see my primary care physician. Gave me what I needed and didnt have to wait for hours.Highly recommend.

My daughter and I popped in for a last-minute and unexpected sports physical that we needed for a college visit that day. They were able to see us within about 15 minutes and the PA was extremely thorough and friendly. If I lived in Abilene, I would definitely be back to see her every time anyone in my family was sick.

Everyone’s customer service was fine, but the x-ray technician went above and beyond. She made me laugh, but yet sensitive to my needs. She’s definitely a keeper. I THINK her name was Riley

I was here on a visit from out of state. The girls in the office were awesome!! Got me in right away and vere very prompt checking me out. I hate shots but didnt feel them. She was great. 10 star visit thank you very much

I made an appointment and checked in online. Arrived on time and didn’t have to wait long at all. The doctor was very attentive and listened. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

This is one of the best urgent cares I had ever experienced. Always friendly and thorough. They got us to the back with minimal wait time!

Love going here more than primary! But the new Dr (new to me) is a little rude. She ask questions but keeps talking when you try to answer, then talks over you. Everyone else is always sweet!

Only reason it gets one star is because I can’t give zero, however the front desk lady and nurse were sweet. The Doctor though Laura Floersch, was AWFUL! She came in and wanted to know why my husband didn’t want a Covid test. Well one because we knew he had strep because my son had tested positive for it earlier in the week and two because the last time he was treated with paxlovid it made him have horrible side effects. When we told her this she just rolled her eyes and had the worst bedside manner. Tried explaining my son was on an antibiotic for days and wasn’t getting better so I had to retake him to the doctor where they added a steroid and that is what made him better. She mentioned giving him a steroid shot and then changed her mind because he had to have one two months ago, okay fine! Then he’s coughing so bad she says I’ll give you a decongestant and all I asked is if it would make him drowsy because she told him he had to take it around the clock every 4 hours, I asked because he runs heavy equipment to which she replied very sarcastically well I’ve never heard of it making people drowsy and then didn’t prescribe him the decongestant only amoxicillin! We stay out of town from our hometown so have to rely on express care clinics when one of us get sick because my husband travels for his job. However, luckily we were able to get a second opinion with a telephone appointment back home and was able to get a steroid and a z pack and he’s already feeling better. I do not understand why some people get into this profession and then get pissy when people have questions about their own health and doesn’t want to get every test under the sun!

I was visiting from out of state and need to have sutures removed.  Scheduling and check in was a breeze.   Staff were super friendly, very professional and efficient.  I would recommend Nextcare and the staff here in Abilene

Woke up this morning with sore throat. We’re able to easy schedule appointments online so at  the clinic solve the problem in about 30 min  all done.Thank You so much for taking care of us today

I woke up with a heavy chest and coughing, drove to Next Care, the process was smooth and easy. Staff was awesome and the PA was caring and professional. I will return if ever needed.

I think they’re waiting time was a little bit more than what it should’ve been. I think they need to upgrade a little bit faster but everything else was grateful and thank y’all very much for handling my business.

Dont even waste a trip going here I came in as I couldnt get to the er. the staff is lazy and you can tell theyre all waiting to go home the nurse didnt take my vitals properly was more so interested in complaining about my special needs child the Dr didnt listen to any of my concerns ask me my pain level nothing with what I was voicing I should of at least gotten blood work done X-ray lab testing. just rushed me out of the room they were more concerned with my sexual health more than anything when I explained several times I was not sexually active and havent been in years .... Unfortunately when your a woman of color your faking sick this place is a disgrace.the Dr had the audacity to ask if I wanted my discharge papers or not lazy lazy lazy.

All the staff was amazing. We will definitely start using them as our walk in, go too.

Great visit everyone was friendly and attentive. Glad to have Baylor Scott and White as an option for Urgent care as to Hendricks. Just wish Baylor would expand more in our area.

Arrived to check in and I wasnt at the right clinic, but they said they would be glad to get me in. Ladies were all great and Dr was helpful. Got my dot physical done!

Took my daughter up there for a test. They got us back in a few minutes, took the sample, and had the results 5 minutes later. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Will be coming here again if needed!

My doctor took very good care of me and my illness and I am better now.I do appreciate being seen very soon after I came in the clinic and I will use their clinic again.

Since I scheduled my appointment through the app, I was able to get in and out fairly quickly. The staff was friendly and professional! They seemed to listen to my concerns/ symptoms, but I didn’t pick up one of the prescriptions because it wasn’t a brand covered by my insurance.

Amazing the Dr was very nice and didnt make us wait long at all. We arrived around 2, amd left the building around 2:30. I was very impressed!!!!! Wish all Dr.s were this good

Best walk-in clinic in town, hands down! When i get sick this is my go to, soley based off staff and the attentiveness they show to you & getting you right lol

The staff and the doctor was very nice and she didnt want to give me a bunch of medicine I didnt have to have told me to stay hydrated and lots of rest

Super slow. The PA and staff were really nice and attentive, but I was in there for about 2 hours and there were only 3 people ahead of me.

I went in I have chronic pain and fibromyalgia pain more intense so is the nausea. Dr. And nurse were very compassionate.

Would give less stars if I could! Created an appointment & about an hour before the physician called. Since our son is only 4 months she stated they couldn’t do much for him. immediately, I could tell they didn’t want to deal with him. Physician stated I should go straight to ER due to congestion. I informed her it wasn’t that bad yet we are just trying to get ahead of it & to get tested for RSV. She did everything she could to talk us out of coming. So I just said canceled the appointment. I don’t want to go anywhere we’re not wanted. Now I know it’s a Sunday but that’s your job… I’d love to go to our primary provider I didn’t need her to keep telling me that’s what I should do… but it’s Sunday & we can’t. Hopefully the week day staff is better and not as lazy as the weekend physician.

I went in because of a needle stick from my job. Now, if you work in any field of health care you know how scary that can be if you don’t know the source it came from.The girls helping me were absolutely amazing with my care! From the treatment to the explanation of the process I couldn’t have asked for anything better. They were compassionate, understanding, and helpful with every question I had. They made a very frightening situation a little less scary, and for that I am overly thankful for their help.

Fast and efficient. Very friendly and clean. We walked in for a sports physical without an appointment and were in and out within 10 minutes of me completing the paperwork.

1st time patient & the lady at the front desk (Ziah) was very helpful and took care of my VA insurance verification. Had some trouble navigating their online sign in and registration process BUT she handled it and I was back in the back in no time! Check-in person was absolutely wonderful!! She was respectful and helpful! Nurse who took vitals was patient and compassionate! Dr. Oksana was informative and a great listener!!! This experience was beyond positive!

What a great experience! I was in and out within an hour and felt like I truly mattered to them. The nurse practitioner Susie was really knowledgeable and super sweet.My favorite part was the online check in process!! I couldn’t believe it… I didn’t have to fill out a SINGLE piece of paperwork (besides signing the receipt). I will definitely be back the next time I’m not feeling well.

The receptionist and the doctor were super nice and helpful. The doctor explained things well and answered our questions. I also had to drive back and get my daughter’s doctor note at about 7:56 PM as they were closing. She was nice and answered the phone and brought me the note.But I was not pleased with the lady who took my daughter’s vitals. My daughter is still a minor, but she would not listen to me and was rude with her questions and comments to me and my daughter. I know we were the last patient of the night, but it is still her job!!! That visit cost me $75 for about 2 minutes with the doctor to basically get a prescription, so the nurse can do much better!!!

I am so bad with names but the pa was very efficient and helped with my sinus and ear infection immediately. Her nurse had my strep screen ready by the time she got in the room. Everyone was friendly and caring from reception to the nursing staff and pa. Would highly recommend.

What can I say? Yall are awesome 😎!   Everything went, smoothly, quickly and thoroughly!  The staff (especially the nurses and doctor) are incredibly kind and professional putting their patients at ease. I would definitely recommend this provider.

The staff was very professional & friendly. I got into an exam room in a very reasonable amount of time & was well taken care of throughout the visit. The practitioner was caring & all my concerns were addressed. I was treated and on my way in a timely manner. Excellent experience today!!

I’ve seen the PA at this urgent care several times, on the occasions I can’t get into my PC. She is always friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She listens to my concerns and always gets me feeling better soon. There is a reason I keep going to this location, their service is great.

I got there close to closing time on Mother’s Day (Sunday). Everyone there was very nice and friendly, and didn’t rush. I highly appreciated and going to recommend this facility to everyone. It was worth the drive from Sweetwater. I don’t live in Abilene. Mention to the staff thanks they are a 5 Star.

The lady that checked me in and the nurse that took my vitals and information was really sweet and professional and the doctor was great and professional and caring but the nurse that gave me my shots needs to be fired she asked if I was allergic to them before I could even answer she already gave them to me I had a major panic attack from the one and on the discharge papers she said she watched me 15 min but she didn’t she stuck me and sent me out the door. She was very rude and unprofessional didn’t get her name but think she had reddish curly hair. She has no business in a clinic !!

I have always used nextcare for when my kids get sick and I cant get them in with their pediatrician. But this time was different we saw a new doctor and when talking to me about my daughter’s diagnosis she said different things. She also didn’t listen when we told her about my daughter’s throat didn’t prescribe us anything. So I went to a different urgent care to find out she had a fever and she needed antibiotics.

The lady’s at the front desk were very helpful with filling out the paperwork online. &&’ the nurses &&’ nurse practitioner were patient with my sick children.

Had a great experience overall. The Staff was very professional and the sign-in process was on my phone. Which was great because I have issues with touching public things especially in an urgent care. Great job at keeping unwanted germs from spreading.

FOUR HOURS!!!!We arrived at 10 am, no greeting and no signs to check in for a walk in. The only receptionist that day was doing two peoples jobs and was much too busy to help, so I used their website to check in. Filled out all the paperwork for a work injury that happened at 5 am. Was waiting in the lobby for 3 1\2 hours. Thats three and a half hours..... so we get called in at 1:30 pm and we wait some more... for another 30 minutes.... We make it out by 2 pm. Two in the afternoon!!!!!!! FOUR HOURS! Meanwhile the app shows you who they serve and who they skip. They were serving people who had just walked in over the two of us. If you look like your from a humble background or that your too poor to do anything to them then I would avoid this place. I saw two men who looked like honest road workers leaving none too happy. If you have to choose urgent care then I suggest you dress up a little, maybe youll be treated respectfully and with an ounce of professionalism because we sure. were. not. This is a review, director, so there is no need to respond with a glad you brought this to our attention, well fix it right away. We both know you wont because another reviewer had the EXACT SAME PROBLEM. Also, I would remove the dumb sign in your waiting room, its like lemon juice in a paper cut.

These people over charged me 55$ fromAugust 17 2024. Multiple calls and emails just gets the run around. About to go  the formal complaint route.

The triage nurse wasnt very friendly. I know they try to get people in and out quickly, but she was pretty abrupt.

Huge kudos to this clinic for getting us in and out quickly all while being extremely busy. Everyone was so nice and helpful. We were told ahead of time that it could be a 2 hour wait, which we completely understood. We were willing to wait. We were called back in about 45 mins and seen and treated within 30 mins or so afterwards. The PA was very sweet and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back. Thank you guys for making an awful night better.

Exceptional staff...bar none!!! From assisting me fill out the online forms and get checked in, to the nurse who reviewed my medical history and current medications, to my PA (Jasmine Salas, PA-C). This team was professional, courteous, efficient and still very accommodating and friendly. PA Salas listen to my symptomolgy, made a quick and accurate diagnosis, and provided options for treatment and aftercare. Two shots were provided by my nurse prior to leaving this facility. Great care! One of the best clinic visits I had...ever!

I scheduled through the Solv app and got an appointment for 15 minutes later. Showed up, checked in, and was seen almost immediately. Everyone was very friendly. Took less than an hour total, even with 2 tests and a shot. I definitely recommend this facility.

Quick and easy. The doctor, nurse, and staff were super friendly. We made an appointment so didnt have to wait long. She saw me and my 2 kids and got us all fixed up. Def would recommend.

When we were checked in we asked if they would do sutures on a toddler. My 2-year-old fell and hit his lip. They said no but they could evaluate it and let us know if it needed stitches. We were the only people in the waiting room for 30 minutes and then we were seen. The Dr told us yeah Im not really sure what to do about that I could prescribe antibiotics. After talking around it for a minute I finally asked if it was your kid what would you do and with no hesitation she said take him to the er. Its very frustrating that after all that and asking what we should do we ended up in the er anyways.Nurses were very nice

They were quick, friendly and had compassion for the patient. Kayla is always sweet, efficient and compassionate just what sick hurt people need. Facility was clean and smelled clean. My family will always use Nextcare.

I always have great care here but i got sick they gave me a z-pak and i went back 10 days later for a Second check because i wasn’t better and the pa that was there did not give me any antibiotics. I had head congestion, chest and congestion. she just wanted to give me cough medicine i didn’t have a cough. she said she don’t give antibiotics if it’s viral, but she never told me it was viral. think her name was laura or lorie something like that.

This was my second time going to NextCare Urgent Care. The first was for my son & we had a great experience. This time not so much. I had made an app for 3:00. arrived & checked in at 2:48. I did not get called back until 3:55 & was not seen by the doctor for another 30 minutes. I was just waiting! Before i even got called back 3 different people walked in behind me & were called before me. i was watching the waitlist & it said i was next. they did not state a “delay” until 3:45. i was already waiting 45 minutes. I was there for a total of 2 hours all for a 5 minute exam by the doctor. I understand wait times & delays but what is the point in an appointment? While in the waiting room, the front desk receptionist was very snobby. I was called up to sign my receipt & while signing she was texting on her phone. I had to ask 3 different times “is that everything?” before she realized i was still standing there. (i believe her name was Desiree, that’s what is on my note) About 10 minutes later, still waiting to be called back, she was on her cellphone arguing with someone. Loud enough I could hear the entire conversation, as well as the others in the room. She was cussing at whoever she was speaking with & not happy. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. Even checking out her attitude was piss poor. I asked for a doctor’s note for work. I did not realize she was checking someone in, as i could not see the other desk. I was coming out of the room from the doctor, checking out. she stated “i’ll get with you in just a moment” with a condescending attitude & smirk on her face. The doctor i did see was amazing! very informative & friendly. She did a quick exam & i was out of there fast. Everyone else i encountered was not very friendly. Working in the healthcare industry i feel like attitudes, bedside manners, all of it should be kept at a high standard. People that go to the doctors, especially an urgent care or ER are usually already irritated due to wait times, or just not feeling good in general. The staff can at least try harder for a more pleasant visit. I won’t not recommend this Urgent Care but it also will not be a first option.

Depends on who I get at the visit, but most of the time, they’re so sweet and really helpful. I felt like she really tried to take care of me this time as a person and not a random patient. We were in and out in 30 minutes and was able to pickup my medicine and head home.

If youre going there for workmans comp, this is your best option! Got turned away from another place that takes SORM and other workmans comp. Best service Ive received yet!

This place is terrible I went in with extreme pain and all they did was weigh me and take my temperature and the NP there just said oh I cant do anything for you go to the ER and I was somehow charged $100.

Nextcare got me in quickly, treating me and gave me prescriptions.I had felt terrible for days with no relief from over the counter medication. All the staff was friendly and professional, I will go back to them if needed in the future. Thanks NextCare I feel better!

Visit was great, got a shot of antibiotics and then a script for another. Unfortunately, I am unable to swallow so I have to figure out how to take the second antibiotic.

Went in for the first time, I had ear discomfort and a cough. From the time I walked in until I left I had the kindest people ever in a medical setting. I will definitely recommend this place.

It has always been a nice environment. But this visit was different. The physicians assisted was unfeeling. Non compassionate. Treated me like I was stupid. Not impressed at all. When someone goes to a place like this. Its because you dont feel good. You expect to be treated as though. Not an inconvenience.

I had a twig from a tree limb stuck in my hand from trimming tree limbs for my mom. I had tried to pull it out but it broke off in my hand. They prescribed me some antibiotics because it had became infected. But the antibiotics helped get rid of the infection and my body pushed the rest of the twig out already. So I am very thankful for all the kind nurses, front desk lady and doctor!🙏🏻♥️🥰

This was the best visit I have ever made to a clinic! They got me in quickly and we’re all around friendly and professional! I will be using them for all my minor emergency needs in the future!

Great experience every time I’ve been there. The receptionist, Ashley is amazing and goes above and beyond. I lost my daughter’s physical and she helped get me get an appointment within a couple minutes on short notice. I recently fell at work and some of my paperwork was missing, Ashley stayed on top of it. She called me with updates and when to pick up my forms so I didn’t have to call or drive up there. I appreciate her hard work and dedication. Ashley, you’re the best!!!!

I stopped in here because I had several people recommend this place and my insurance prefers here. I had a great experience. My phone check in didnt work but for the most part it is limited contact. It wasnt busy. It said all of the online appointments were taken but when I arrived there wasnt anyone in there. The front desk didnt take much info. She never scanned my ID or anything. Not sure if that was normal but I offered several times. The app stated that I was 5th in line but I wasnt called back within 10 minutes of seating. The whole process was fast and efficient. I saw the doc, Jasmin, immediately. She was super friendly and really cared about what was going on. She acted fast and had things taken care of quickly. She was great. The nurse was great as well. She gave me 2 shots and I have never had those two shots without feeling it. She had it so I didnt even feel them. Doc discharged quickly and I was on my way, feeling much better. From the moment I walked in to the moment I walked out was about 50 minutes. Great experience. I definitely recommend.

Staff was very accommodating and appt was on time

Took my daughter in on Memorial Day where they diagnosed her and said they sent in a prescription but no prescription was sent in, even days later. We paid $50 and when we tried to call to check on the status of sending the prescription…the phone just stayed on hold. There was no easy way to be routed to the local office. This would have been a positive review had they sent our prescription in. My daughter had to wait the day of the holiday and until I could take her to her primary care physician. We were out $50 and daughter was sicker longer due to no prescription. There should be an option to connect with the local office on your main call contact number.

They got me in and out in a pretty quick turnaround time. The PA was so so nice, the staff was helpful and kind... It was a wonderful experience.

The site was quick, friendly, and thorough. I loved that the provider spoke directly with my grandchild and asked them what was going on. That put my grandchild in charge and helped decrease his worry. He even left saying, That was fun. Perhaps the lollipop helped. 🍭

Very quick- my kid had a pretty bad throat issue. We were in and out in around 40 minutes. Mind you, we walked in around 6pm and they close at 8pm. There really isn’t a reason for a sore throat appt to last an hour or more like they usually do.

Walked in to get my child checked. Was told to go to the emergency room.

The PA had my son scared trying to say he had things wrong that he clearly did not…. She didn’t even focus on the main issue we were there for. Assumed the absolute worse prognosis and he didn’t even test positive for strep….

NextCare of Abilene was very organized. They got me back quickly and saw me quickly as well. I felt the treatment prescribed for me was very adequate. They were fast and professional!

Our familys first choice for urgent care and sports and school physicals. The staff is professional and yet friendly at the same time. They make us feel comfortable by conversing, laughing and joking with us while providing the exam.I also like being able to schedule an appointment and do paperwork online before the appointment. They even send friendly reminders leading up to the appointment time.

I had a great experience here. Always have. PA Lisa is so attentive and caring. She was so good with me and my daughter! Wait time can vary, but I love the option of waiting in my car. Totally recommend!

I would normally rate this place with 5 stars because I’ve never had a bad experience until last night. I took my 11 month old son in because he had been coughing and vomiting and running a fever. The nurse or technician that did his vitals was grouchy and not very compassionate at all. When weighing him he was moving a little so it was challenging to get it perfect but she got frustrated and huffed and puffed and just gave up after like 30 seconds and just wrote something down. Then when she was trying to get his o2 reading she tried his toe at first and he moved and she huffed and said “ugh I almost had it” and jerked his foot back and squeezed it on him so tight he started screaming and when she took it off his foot was purple where she was squeezing it. She then proceeded to do the same thing to his hand and when she wasn’t successful she just gave up and wrote a made up number down. Last time I was in there we had trouble getting a reading but they let us get into the room and sent someone in to do it who was truly compassionate and gentle and she got it with no trouble at all. I don’t have a complaint about the facility or the NP we saw but that one person really made the situation worse than it already was. Also, my son has RSV and they gave him oral steroids in the office. Pretty sure dosing in infants is based off of weight and I know she didn’t get an accurate weight so that’s a little concerning.

The staff and nurse were very friendly, welcoming and attentive to my needs and the location was just around the corner from my hotel. Highly recommend this place. 👌

Very short wait. Practitioners really listen to & offer me treatment options. She was very thorough. Always choose this facility when something quick comes up as I know I’ll be seen. Can make appointments as well which really cuts wait time. Staff is always super friendly & helpful. Highly recommend.

Nice people and quick visit but make sure you have some kind of insurance though.. covid and flu test and 5 minute check with doc was $540. Ridiculous. My PCP was booked so I went here. I self pay $130 for a visit at my primary. Its crazy they charge this much for such a basic service. Ill never pay it again. Ill just wait next time.

I needed to see a Doc, went to Nextcare. Place was clean, friendly and quick check in via my phone. I chose to wait my turn in the car. Received a text when they were ready for me. The Nursing staff and the PA who treated me were friendly, professional, empathetic & knowledgeable. I bring my family here any time and wold recommend them to anyone, and no, Im not related to them or have a financial interest in Next Care. Just call it like I see it. Great job guys!

Made appointment on line for 7 did not see Dr. until 7:50 and they were not really that busy. Nurses at clinic was very nice was not very impressed with Dr. or nurse practitioner not sure of her title.

I have been on contact with the staff at this clinic for 3 days in person and over the phone to get my child cleared for surgery. I come in to have it done and was told they couldnt do it. Wasted time for 3 days. I asked why they didnt tell me this on the day on of talking with them and I was told the medical director would send a email to staff to address. They are not trained properly on what their job is.

Friendly staff who go me in, diagnosed, treated and back out in about 45 minutes.

I went to Dr. J for help with chronic bronchitis. I arrived at about 9:20 a.m. The facility was spotless - bright and open in the waiting room and patient rooms. The time in the waiting room was reasonable as was the wait to see the doctor once I was in an exam room. He was very friendly and efficient and knowledgeable. I waited another fifteen minutes after the steroid to make sure there was no bad reaction and then I was on my way. Props to the nurse who gave the shot. I’m not a fan of shots but I barely felt it. The whole staff was friendly. Dr.J’s is my go-to place for moments like these.

They were quick to get me seen. And they covered all possibilities, of what cold be going with my issues. Very pleased with their services.

The doctor was super nice and helpful. You could tell she was doing her best to get everyone in and out as quickly as possible while still taking the time to get everyone great care. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It’s not common anymore to have everyone doing such a great job!

We were so pleased with Oksana and Paige. Both of them were kind and professional and thorough with my elderly mother. I also appreciated the sweet girl who greeted us at the front desk and the ease of using the online appointment scheduling and check in.

Super sweet ladies at this office on Catclaw dr. Drs/PAs are super sweet. I always feel like Im heard in tge office Except with the Dr that does the Workmans Comp. I hurt my back a year ago and She NEVER did anything to help figure out what was wrong with my back. She Refused to look at the MRI I paid for out of my Own pocket.

I received a Final Notice text about my bill. Just 1 problem, Ive never been to this clinic! I tried to call 2 different numbers. The number the text was sent from doesnt ring. The local number just plays hold music after you select to speak with someone. The 800 number says its busy after selecting. Ive tried for 2 hours to get ahold of someone, anyone, to make sure this isnt a scam and clear this up and no answer! Ive never been seen here and after this I definitely wont ever! They dont even answer the phone to make an appointment! (I tried that option too)

The time wait was good, but most importantly the quality of care was above excellent. Roben and her staff zerod right in on the problem and went high above what I have experienced from other clinics. I would definitely recommend them!

Fast service but the receptionist was loud. She was talking about how corporate never fixes anything on the EMR. As a patient I do not wish to hear that.

The receptionist was very nice and recommended several different payment options that would best fit my needs. Wait time was less than 30 minutes and my daughter was seen and diagnosed faster than any regular hospital weve ever been to. I will definitely return if the need arises and recommend to anyone needing urgent care.

I was thankful it was not to busy. I was in a lot of pain.all of these ladies were kind and patient. I will certainly go again for emergencies.

Its always a good visit when I come in for an appointment...but the phone line is terrible. There is no way to reach the local office directly and the phone line will just keep you on hold. This is a huge issue that needs to be fixed. Ive tried to call back in regards to my lab results 15 times! It would be wonderful if you could fix your phone line.

Then receptionist, nurse, and nurse practitioner were all super nice to me. I dont have insurance and they gave me access to an assistance program, which gave me a reduced price on my bill. They listened to my needs and prescribed the help I needed. It was a very quick visit. I would definitely recommend this place.

When you are sick and you go to either your doctor or an urgent care center the wait, it will always be there.What makes it better is how the staff talk to you and treat you and accommodate you. I appreciate all the staff from the front reception area to the back and everyone involved in providing care to people there. I’m sure they do the best they can and I felt like they did

Staff was friendly and helpful, kind with their words, and smiling. They were very busy, so we did have to wait, although that is to be expected. They kept us posted on progress,and we only waited a few minutes after the nurse pulled us back and got basic info before we saw a doc. She tested for flu, which took about 10 mins, said it was negative, then wanted to test for strep to make sure. I was very pleased with their thoroughness!

We love this clinic and the care we get everytime we go. We have been blessed to have the same provider our last three visits and absolutely love her!! She explains everything very well, she shows care and concern even asking about previous visits. Staff is always super sweet as well. Highly recommend!

Dr.Salas and her assistant are very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them. The wait was a little long but as soon as I got in the back they worked quickly to fix me up. I appreciate their help and effort. Ill definitely be back to see them if my family Doctor can see me.

My 4yo is autistic and the nurse and provider all examined him best they could without pushing too far when he objected. I was very happy.

The staff here is friendly, professional, and courteous. One of my sons been here and their top notched care and customer services are awesome. My son seen one of the doctor or PA and he was very nice. He takes care of his patients. I do not know if he was a doctor or PA, but he made my son felt comfortable in his care. Today, my son right ear had a cotton stuck deep in his ear canal and he was able to get it out. Awesome that it came out otherwise if it had been left there for another day it could cause severe inflammation or loss of hearing. Thanks goodness my son right ear is okay. He still needs to take antibiotics to treat it. I would highly recommend this urgent care. Both of my sons had a great experienced. Keep up the good work. I would not go another urgent anywhere in town except it is extremely busy then I will go somewhere else. So far awesome customer services and patient care.

This clinic gave me great service and treatment. The doctors I saw had lovely bedside manner, and the facilities were clean. The registrar was kind thorough. The nurses who checked me in were top-notch. I will definitely return to this walk-in clinic.

I went to the clinic on a Saturday afternoon. I waited less then 15 minutes in lobby. Which was clean and comfortable. Once in the exam room I was seen by a provider, treated, and out within 30 minutes. Very professional staff and great service. Thank you for seeing me so quickly and efficiently.

Theyre very attentive and I usually am able to get an appointment the same day or the next. They send my prescriptions to HEB Pharmacy in a timely manner. Theyre open late, so I dont always have to go to the ER. Theyre pretty convenient. I would definitely recommend them.

Had health concern on Friday evening which was not dealt with by my doctor. Chose NextCare to have it seen about. Check-in was quick and pleasant. Was seen by an NP who carefully assessed my issue. Was given medication and prescription. Everyone in the facility went the extra mile to be helpful with a cheerful attitude. Was surprised next morning by phone call from the NP checking on my progress and offering further advice on dealing with my issue. This is the way medical treatment should be.

Appearance is very clean and orderly which diminish anxiety about contaminated surfaces. Staff is always courteous, friendly, and efficient. They also keep you informed as to their process and procedures rather than letting you languish in an exam room wondering if the lights have been turned off and everyone left. I’m always able to get a timely appointment which has proven difficult for me at times in Abilene.

My daughter and I waited a lot longer than expected. We werent told there was a 2 hr wait after explaining about an upcoming work shift. After we were finally texted, everything else was very pleasant. Staff was very nice and knowledgeable.

We were in and out so quickly. Each person we came in contact with was friendly, helpful and competent. The office was clean and the chairs were spaced out enough so I didn’t feel too close to other patients. I’m thrilled with the care that we received while we were there.

Even though the wait was long and I had to change location from Hwy 351 to NextCare Catclaw. The staff gave me an option to wait inside or in my car. The staff were amazing and very professional and I know they probably have seen over 100 people, but they never wavered. I will definitely be using that location again. Great excellent customer service from the reception to the back staff. Thank you specially at a time like this and COVID is running rapid along with the flu. I appreciate y’all and everything you do for those of us who are under the weather right now. Prayers & Blessing!

Overall experience was pleasant! We were there a total of 2 hours. Only complaint is I never got the doctor’s name (or either of the nurses that took care of my son... one of them MIGHT have told me, I just don’t remember). They treated me well, listened to my concerns, and gave me clear answers. The wait was a bit long, but worth it.

The place was very clean! I loved the P.A..Jasmin Salas. She was excellent with my kids and thorough with her examinations. I also love the fact they are open on Saturday and Sunday. The wait was a little longer than I liked.

I have used this clinic a few times in the past and am always pleased with the service, however today I had a longer than usual wait time--about 1 1/4 hours. Staff was friendly and professional.

Outstanding experience. Quick to check you in and get you on a waiting list and within a short time you are taken for your vitals and to answer a few questions before being moved to a room. Everyone is helpful and Friendly. This is my second visit to this location. The first was with my wife when she was sick and now my personal visit. Great experience when getting into see my primary physician may not be possible for days and I need something now. Quickly diagnosed the problem and gave the medicine required to get over the bronchitis. Great friendly people and service. Thanks for getting all of us in so quickly and being so quick to make it to the rooms to hear the issues and getting us checked out and helping each person. I will certainly recommend Dr. Js Express Care as a place to get see in a hurry. Takes most insurances and when you dont they have plans available to you to help you with the expense.

Best experience Ive had at a walk in clinic. Very courteous, I was in and out in 2 hours with no advance notice just walked in said I was sick and they took care of my issue with courtesy, patience and professionalism. Very thorough examination testing, diagnosis and quite cost effective. It was obviously a slow time but I got the feeling effective triage would be part of their operation regardless of how busy it was.

The check-in person couldn’t be bothered to make eye contact at anytime during the check-in process. She was very abrupt and rude. The nurse that took history and vitals was also very rude and seemed very bothered that she had to do her job.The nurse practitioner was the only person that seemed to care and like her job. She was thorough and nice.Total visit took over and hour and twenty minutes even though I was the only patient in the clinic.Next time I will go to a different clinic.

Everyone at this place is so amazing .We went to 3 different places and was told they couldnt see us because I couldnt find insurance card .These ladies had already stopped taking walk in .My baby was so sick they seen us anyway .Thank Yall .Yall are all Examples of what a health worker is suppose to be like .Yall are awesome.

Ive gone to dr. J off and on for the last couple years for my wife. This time was my first visit by myself. The staff was great! They took my insurance and my copay was pretty low. They got me in and out in a timely manner. They also gave me a referral to a specialist for my hand. I also enjoy the ability to make my appointment online.

The care My Mother received at this facility was spot on. They were kind, thorough and patient. However when it comes to the corporate billing office they are awful. I was on hold for 32 minutes and no one ever answered. I would like to pay for the services that my mother received but not until all insurances have been filed on and since I cant reach anyone I dont know when that will be. I even sent an email and still no response.

They do not take insurance and everything has to be paid up front. I heard the staff talking about me when I was in an adjoining room, questioning my decision to choose their clinic. Staff looked irritated with me asking questions and I couldn’t get a straight answer. Asked how much something was and they couldn’t tell me until after I got the procedure done. Tried to tell them I already got bloodwork done and they told me in order to process my request I needed more blood work even though I had physicians orders. I understand that this is a frustrating time but please do not take it out on your patients. The point of being in the health care field is to advocate for the patient. I definitely felt demoralized and ashamed that I came here.

Very fast service. Not the greatest check in experience though because the girl working at the desk was very distracted with her personal conversations and her cell phone. The clinical staff was all amazing though.

I love to go to yalls clinic . From the receptionist to the nurses to the doctors you all made me feel comfortable. Dr Oxana I just love. The lady that weighed me was so sweet too.. and I cant think of how they could do better because everyone from Kate to all of you wonderful people.You are really all so thoughtful and understanding and kind. I recommend thus whole entire medical group. Its fun going to the doctors and Nurses always make me feel like they really care!!

I have been to NextCare on Catclaw many times given my many disabilities, conditions and weakened immune system. I can honestly say every staff member, nursing member and doctor has been very professional, kind, compassionate among providing excellent care. I have often been treated/diagnosed by the same doctor (forgive me, I have memory problems and do not recall her name); she is of Russian origin, and one wonderful physician. I am blessed that she chose to utilize her knowledge, skills, abilities, wisdom, and her heart for providing healing resources to people in this community. We are fortunate to have her and theof medical providers and staff. Personally, I am blessed. Yes, sometimes the wait can be a little long, but I tell myself, they are caring for and treating patients as I am treated when I am in a room. Thank you Team NextCare, Catclaw.

Our visit to Dr J Express Care was a pleasant one. The customer service was outstanding and the receptionist was very polite.They also got to us in a timely manner. If youre in need of a sports physical for your child I highly recommend taking you child here. It was an all around welcoming environment.

My baby with two years old was sick and we come to this urgent care and this happened First: the lady in the front so rude, she don’t said hi or somethingAnd then the assistant looking so tired and she looks like she don’t listeningThe third the worst the Nurse, she said I can’t diagnose your kid because he moved a lot, oh my godHe is just a babyyyyy , Im so angry because one supposed they are professional, we never come back, if you have a kid don’t come with this people

1. They dont answer the phone.2. They dont call in prescriptions.3. The so called doctor couldnt or wouldnt remove a splinter from my wifes foot. The doctor said to soak it and maybe it will come out.Me personaly Id stay home and die before going there!

Service was insanely speedy. The nurse with the crazy bun had energy for days and i vibed with the staff. I hope my visit was as easy for them as they made it for me! Greatly appreciate the service. That lady needled me gd and she did it with a smile and thats what counts! 100%

Easy online scheduling and check in. Short wait time in waiting room. Staff courteous and professional. Doctor listened to my concerns, answered my questions. Knowledgeable and professional, gave very good feedback and medical attention. Good place to go when you need to be seen quickly but cant get timely appt with primary care doctor. I highly recommend this urgent care clinic.

I’ve had the unfortunate need for urgent care almost every spring for the last four years. Every time I’ve visited Dr. J, and every time, the service has been thorough but quick. Any time I’ve been given treatment (injections, prescriptions), the treatment has been very effective. Dr. Butz is especially great - competent and kind.

Folks were very friendly. Staff was professional and efficient. Saw the doctor very quickly and the doctor was patient and listened intently. Great experience.

It was a long wait because there was only one provider but she was so worth it. Came in for itchy eyes and when she found a foreign object, she immediately got on the phone to try and find me an ophthalmologist for more specialized care. I have never had any provider go that far for their patients. Amazing! Thank you!!!

Office staff is so friendly. Website for checking in and doing paperwork is so user thoughtful and fast. Best annual plan in town. Nurse very attentive to our needs and solves problems in a flash. Would recommend.

I got to the clinic before 5. They close at 6 and there was no one in the waiting room. They sent me away because they aren’t taking anymore walk-ins. I had tried to make an appointment 4 hours before I could come in and none were available. I checked the website every hour since to see if something came available. There was nothing that said they wouldn’t take walk-ins. In fact, that is what the website told me to do. Great customer service. Especially for someone who is sick.

Super easy, everyone was friendly and professional and efficient! The only down side was the wait. I had an appointment at 1:30 and didn’t get out of there until after 4. Some of those ahead of me had appointments also but half of them were walk ins. That is understandable at a walk in clinic but still a long wait...thus 4 stars.
